Tonight we will continue with “Christ is Revealed by His Own Word”, and this is number 115 in our series and we shall subtitle this message tonight,  “The Evening Lights”.

I would like to begin by reading from paragraph 144 & 148. [144] God is revealed in every age by his promised Word to that age. Now, let's just look what some of His promises is for today while we're closing now in these last words.  Now, God is revealing Himself in the evening Light time. Let's see now. I just got a bunch of Scriptures wrote down here, as you can see on this page how many Scriptures is written there, but we just got about fifteen minutes till twelve. [148]  Now, we're going to speak about the evening Lights just for a few moments. The Bible predicts that there would come a time right at the closing time, that the sun would come out, and there would be an evening Light. We all know that, don't we? We who are familiar with our message today from the Lord Jesus, we believe that there'll be a evening Light. And this evening Light... Of course, the great Light will come when Jesus Himself will be manifested here on earth, or up in the heavens, taking away His Bride, and then the millennium will set in.

Now, notice that Brother Branham speaks of the Bible speaking about the evening light, and he says those who are familiar with the Message believe there is to be an evening light. Now, the Scripture that he is referring to is in the Book of  [Zechariah 14:6-7] (read) So we see that there is to come a time that will be known to the Lord which is called the evening time and at that time a light shall come forth.

Now, what is a light for? Except to illuminate and to make manifest as we read from the Book of [Ephesians 5:13-14] .

But the problem we face is that most people do not understand anything about how God operates and therefore they do not understand what this evening Light is to bring and therefore they reject the Light as we see in  [John 3:19-21]

Now, the fact of the matter is that there is a Light and there is the Light. And we find that John was said to be a bright and shining Light, but He was not The Light. [John 5: 31-38]  &  [John 1:1-34]. Now the thing I want you to notice is that there has to be a light that bears witness to The Light. And if John was a light that was to bear witness to The Light, then if Alpha has become Omega, we must see that God had to do the same thing in this hour. Therefore we could easily read verses William Branham’s name into this in the place of John’s name. (read from verse 6- 20)

In [John 1: 5 we hear that this light shineth in a dark place and in Zechariah we read that the hour would be dark as well. Again we see in [2 Peter 1:19] that this light would shine in a dark place until the day star would take over.

In [2 Cor 4:4-7] we see that the light is to shine but those who do not see this light have been blinded by the god of this evil age which is satan.  And in verse 7 we see that this light is in earthen vessels. [Matt 5: 13-17].

So in essence, then what we have when we hear the scripture speaking of Light at the evening time is a Light bearing witness to The Light which is Christ Himself. And in the Message, Indictment, Brother Branham said, “ And today, by the Light of the Gospel reflecting from a Light, a Pillar of Fire visibly seen among us....And Science has seen It, It’s in the Magazines, and across the world, and It’s both scientifically and spiritually recognized as the same Pillar of Fire, by the same signs and the same things as it did always.”

Now, in paragraph [144] Brother Branham is very particular in the choice of words that he uses when he says, God is revealed in every age by his promised Word to that age. Notice first of all that he is speaking of a Word that is already promised. The word he uses is promised Word which is spoken of in the future tense. Therefore what he is saying is that God, way back in the past gave a promise of a future revealing of Himself through His Word and in the day or season that He wants that Promise to be revealed, He will do something to bring that portion of His Word to pass.  After all, Brother Branham often told us that “God interprets His Own Word by bringing it to pass”.

Then this statement of brother Branham’s here ought to tell us that those who God reveals Himself to, are those who will read His Word, and will be found watching the day that they live for the manifestation of His Word. In [Luke 12 : all] The entire chapter speaks of a preparation and a careful observing of  conditions and our approach to those conditions especially how they pertain to the Parousia of Christ.

Now, as we continue with paragraph 144, I want you to listen carefully to the next thing Brother Branham  says, when he says,  “Now, let's just look what some of His promises is for today while we're closing now in these last words.  Now, God is revealing Himself in the evening Light time.

So we see that Brother Branham is telling us that God is NOW, revealing HIMSELF in the evening Light time. You know how he loved to sing that Song, “It shall be Light about the evening time, the path to Glory you will surely find, in the water way there is a light today, buried in the name of Jesus Christ. Young and Old repent of al your sins, the Holy Ghost will surely enter in, the Evening time has come, it is a fact that God and Christ are one”.

Now, the Oneness have taken this and try to say that this song is about God is Jesus, or Jesus is God, but what it says is that God and Christ are one, which is true because the Christ is the Anointing which came forth out from God. Therefore it has to contain in it the very nature and characteristics of the one from which it came forth.  We will look at this representation of God in Christ as we move further into this Revelation of Christ, and how He is revealed through His Own Word. we see the same thing with the ministry of the Apostle Paul, as he describes what happened to him and the effect it had upon his life and how his whole life became a witness tot he Light that Appeared to him on his road to Damascus. [Acts 26: 1-29].

Now, I hope that you will have noticed here that Paul too was speaking of how the people needed to come first to repentance which is a change of the mind, and notice how he spoke of , “repentance and turning to God and doing works that are worthy of this change of this repentance which is a change of the mind.”  And then we find Him tying in this repentance with the Light that came forth to the people after Jesus rose from the dead. Now, remember that we are dealing with two lights, and yet one of the Lights is a greater light than the other.  The greater Light of course is the Shekinah light of God’s Presence, and the lesser light is simply the reflector light, or the light which is simply reflecting the greater light.

[150]  Now... So we're going to read some of these Scriptures in here. Now, in the evening Light come... Now, we notice that it'll have to be the same Light that was in the morning, 'cause there's not one sun in the morning and another sun in the afternoon. It's the same sun; same sun that's in the afternoon is in the morning, same in the morning as in the afternoon. Now, it said the day itself, the day between that time will be kinda like a--oh, a--like a dismal, dark day, could not be called day or night in between that. See, that's the forming of the Body from the feet coming up.

[Gen 1:3-18] Now, notice the stars were lights also but they are not the two great lights of which one is even greater than the other. The Great light of Course is the SUN or spiritually speaking the SON of God. And the lesser light is the moon which has no light of it’s own but is simply a reflector of the greater light of the SUN. Now, I hope that you can see by the natural that it types the Spiritual. We as Sons of God are a type of the stars of heaven as we see in [Job 38:7] and [Gen 37:9-10] where we are represented as stars, and as stars we all have a light within us, as Jesus said in [Matt 5:14-16] and therefore we all have a little light within us that was placed there to shine forth. [Ephesians 5:8] & [1 Thess 5:5] & [1 Peter 2:9].

But the lesser light that reflects the greater light is the moon which represents the church as a whole. It can only shine in the absence of the Sun and has no light of it’s own, but can only shed what light it reflects from the Sun. [Isaiah 60:1-3]

And gross darkness is coming upon the earth, and we know that when the resurrection of the dead takes place, then we which are alive at that time will not go before them, but we shall be gathered together with them and then the Rapture or the going home of the saints will take place. But woe to them who are left behind when this event takes place. Because they will be left behind with no light at all.

[Matt 8:11-12]  & [Matt 24: 50-51]Notice, in the day when they stop looking for Him to come, that’s when he’ll come. Then surely hell and it’s angels will break forth upon the earth as has never been since the creation.  [149]  But we've got one of the most dreadful times to go through that ever laid before human beings. Now, I'm just waiting for the hour and when we can get--everybody can get a chance where you can get off from work and spend a few days, and we can get set up somewhere where I can speak on those plagues and things that's to fall in the days, and throw about two or three weeks together, and bring that together, if the Lord let's me live to do it and will inspire me to do so. See how those things will be dropped in and those thunders, then you'll find out what that man and them people has been dreaming about and all these things there; it'll come to pass. See? You'll notice what them revealed, that great thunder a-coming forth out of the skies. Now... Of course, the whole bunch of you, you know that I know what that means. You see? But let's just wait till the time comes (You see?) for it to...?... Now... And it'll be more in season.

[153]  Now, let's find out. It shall be Light about the middle day? At the evening time. What is light sent for? So you can see where you're--how to get around (That right?), see where you're at. It shall be Light about the evening time.  Now, we take that now and compare it over with Malachi 4. He promised that there would be Light come again in the evening time. See? "For behold, I will send to you Elijah the prophet, and he will restore the children back to the fathers, and the fathers to the children (Is that right?), lest I come and smite the earth with a curse."  Now, let's take St. [Luke 17:30] and watch what Jesus prophesied there, saying that, "As it was in the days of Sodom, it'll be the same..." Now, remember. Notice. This is at the time that the Son of man would be revealed, the revealing of the Son of man. Now, the Son of man was actually revealed potentially just for a few moments there, just before Sodom was burned. Now, that Man was Elohim. That was God, and Jesus is God. And God was revealed potentially right there for a few moments to talk to Abraham in the investigation judgment, just for a little bit. The Son of man was revealed, the Son of man, Elohim. Do you see it, church? The Son of man, Elohim, was revealed just for a few minutes, for the very next morning it was burned. When? Before the sun could come up again. So there can't be no organization left; neither can there be any further advancement than what's going right now; for she'll burn before the day breaks again.  The revival's over across the nation. There ain't going to be no more revivals, big sweeping revivals. This nation will never receive it. You might have intellectual gathering, but I mean a spiritual revival. We're seen all of it. I hope you're catching it. I'm saying it in such a way that I hope you get it. See? It's over.
