(Dedication of Little Ella Anetta Bates)
Revelation Your Ultimate Reality
Brian
Kocourek
This morning before our message, we
will dedicate little Ella Anetta Bates, the daughter of Justin and Christina
Bates. The babies name Ella in the Hebrew dictionary means "an
Israelite" it is used in the name of God, El-Elah-Elohim as we were
taught by Brother Branham. So like her mother whose name is Christina and we
named her that to remind us always of Christ, this little girls
name Ella will always remind us of El Elah Elohim,
the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the self existing one.
You know names have
meanings.
Why little
And your name has a
lot to do with your nature. That is brother Branham said we should never name
our children Rickie or Elvis, because Rickie means rat and Elvis means cat and
what you name your child has meaning behind the name. That is why brother Branham was against all
these modern names that young people gravitate towards because you could name
your child a name with a very wrong meaning to that name and not even know it.
If you called your kid
a name that means "looser" his whole life, I am sure no
matter how smart that child may be, he will find himself acting out his name
and he will never amount to very much in life. Names have a
significance, they do mean something. And your name has a lot to do with
your nature. That is why a child should never be named until after it is born.
It has a nature when it is born and the name has a meaning to it. That is why brother
Branham was against all these modern names that do not have a wrong meaning to
them.
From his sermon, Approach
to God 55-0123A P:52 brother Branham
described how there is a certain approach to God and tells us of how Abraham
approached God. He says, "Abraham believed God
then, 'cause he had an approach through a symbol, through a name. So have we an
approach through a Name, Jesus. What does Jesus mean to us? Saviour.
Amen. El Shaddai to Abraham, Satisfier,
Strong One, salvation Giver, strength Giver.
The same thing that El Shaddai was to Abraham, Jesus
is to the believer. Oh, my. Doesn't it just carry you away?
Now, I hope you
realize the grave responsibility that you have with this child because she is a
4th generation to live their life under the auspices of the Pillar of Fire (the
Great Shekinah Presence of God) Who has come down to
be with us in this hour. And your stewardship of this grave responsibility is
not only an awesome task knowing you will be held accountable for the soul of
Little Ella Anetta, but you will also receive the great reward of entering into
eternity with her as a bride family to live eternally with each other. What a
beautiful reward to have for your stewardship before God with little Ella
Anetta Bates.
Now, I would like to
read from one of my favorite passages concerning how we are to raise up our
children, because that is one stewardship that has
eternal rewards if done properly.
Deuteronomy
6: 4-9 Hear, O
Now, children as I
said they are very perceptive. And they are quite aware when their parents are
just weekend Christians. But here it tells you to teach your children About the word of God when? When you are
eating and walking and in the car driving, and when you are fishing, and when
you are hunting, and when you go out to eat, and when you are in bed at night,
and when you are sitting around your home. In other words, when your
child sees you living the life, and walking the walk, they will walk it with
you and they will live it with you. That is what dedication of our children is
all about, but we can not do that with out consecrating our own selves as
parents first. Because if you do not walk the walk, they will know it before
you are even aware of it. And there is no greater hindrance to a child growing
up in the admonition of Christ than to have parents who are not living that
life themselves.
Now, what I would like
to focus on is verse 7 for it has words that strike home how important it is
for us to teach our children’s minds.
In verse 7 of the NIV it tells us Impress them
on your children. Talk of them when you sit in your home and when you walk
along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
Now,
verse 7 in the Amplified version is even more memorable, it says, “And these words which I am commanding you this day shall be
first in your mind heart; (now,
that is the problem I have seen in this Message the most. When children go wayward
it is usually because the parents do not have a true revelation themselves. The
children see mom and dad as hypocrites and know that that just play church and it is a social thing for
them, but because they are not driven by this word, the children do not come
into the proper manner of importance as they should have. I know that I must
seem to many as a fanatic because of the strong stands
I have taken over the years, but I would rather know my soul is right with God
and have His approval than to have a large church full of compromising people.
Notice next what he tells us to do).
then (when? After you have established
the word of God as first in your own mind and heart, then) you shall whet and sharpen
them, so to make them penetrate,…
Now, the scripture
uses symbolism here to get the message across. If you wish for a knife or
dagger to cut deeper into the flesh, you must first make sure it is very, very
sharp, so you use a wet stone to sharpen the blade in order to make it
penetrate as deep into the body as it can possibly penetrate. So he says.. you shall whet and sharpen
them, so to make them penetrate, and teach (that’s number 1) and impress them diligently upon the minds and hearts of your
children, (that’s number 2) and (number 3) You shall talk of them when you sit in your house,
and (number 4) when you walk by the way,
and (number 5) when you lie down and
(number 6) when you rise up."
I hope you can see the
importance of not being wishy-washy with your children. We see that the people
were commanded to place pictures and Scriptures and all sorts of things that
the children will actually see with their eyes and when they see with their
eyes it will have an influence in their minds and in their hearts.
Now,
we have already explained what it means to wet and sharpen the Scriptures to
your children, But what does it mean to IMPRESS them upon their minds. The word
Impress means 1. To affect strongly, favorably: 2. To
produce or attempt to produce a vivid impression or image of: 3. To mark
or stamp with or as if with pressure: impressed a design on the hot wax. 4.
To apply with pressure; press.
So
it is not a laid back attitude you are to take with your children, It is an
attitude that when they do wrong, it seems like the end of the world to them.
You do not impress without a press, for the word is IM-PRESS
as in making an imprint or impression. When you press a coin into wax or clay
to make a mold, that is what you are doing to make the
mold. And the word should be presented as Life and death, not lackadaisically.
Malachi
3:6 For I
am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
Hebrews
13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to
day, and for ever.
(Pray
for each parent, and then hold the baby and pray for her).
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance
of things hoped for, and
Webster's Dictionary tells us the word substance
means: the ultimate reality that underlies all
outward manifestation..
So we see that faith (revelation) is
the ultimate reality that underlies all outward
manifestations of things hoped for, and it is the
evidence (it is the visible proof) of
things not yet seen. 2 For by it
the elders obtained a good report. 3 Through faith (Through
revelation) we understand that the worlds were
framed by the word (the Logos, which is the doctrine) of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things
which do appear.
Notice that Faith is the
ultimate reality that underlies all outward manifestation,
It is the visible proof of things that are not as yet seen. So what we are
looking at is That Faith, Revelation is in essence the
ultimate reality. Therefore to the Bride of Christ her faith is her ultimate reality.
And Since, “Faith is the ultimate reality of things hoped for, and the proof of things not a yet seen,” Then if we see it, it no longer requires Faith. For if “Faith is the Substance or ultimate reality of things hoped for,” and Paul said in Romans 8:24-25 “for we are saved by hope:
but hope that is seen is not hope; for what a man seeth,
why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that which we see not, then do we
with patience wait for it.”
In other Words, when we
see by Revelation the thing we hope for, that Revelation to us is the ultimate
reality that the thing hoped for exists. Then the Revelation is more of a
reality than the life we are now living in this flesh.
Let me explain. This
life gets older and older each day it lives, and I long to be out of this body
even though it is a real thing at least in these three dimensions that we live
in. But the Christ Life that is growing inside is becoming more and more real
to me than this flesh I am coping with daily.
And as Paul says, our revelation is the substance,
it is the ultimate reality to us if truly the Christ Life is manifesting itself
in our inner man.
Because if it is the
substance of which Webster's tells us it is the ultimate reality,
then as we wait patiently for the thing hoped for, we will be in a position of actually
passing beyond Faith when it comes to the Revelation of Christ’s Appearing, and
the Order of His Coming, the Rapture of the saints, the gathering together unto
Him and all those events which pertain to The End-Time Revealing of Himself,
and the going home of the Elect, because when we can see that these things have
already taken place, or that they are in the process of taking place,
and we are able to not only see them take place, but we are also able to
recognize what is happening and tie them back to the promise, this then
brings us to the place that we are no longer looking for them but
we are in the process of receiving them as they
come to pass, thus making you and that portion of the Word One, and thus making you an integral part of these End-time
manifestations of Christ.
Now to be part of this
manifested End-Time Revelation of Jesus Christ does not make you Him, but it makes
the uniting with Him the ultimate reality because by entering into this
revelation, or shall we say when this revelation becomes your substance, it
becomes your ultimate reality that the revelation you long for is more a
reality than the dimension you are currently living in.
When we become a part of
this End-Time Revelation of Christ, in that, we as His Bride are the One's TO Whom He is revealing
Himself to. It brings you to a realization of His great purpose that He
purposed Himself in Christ for.
Now, there are 3 things
which must happen in order for God to manifest Himself or His Word, seeing that
He is the Word.
No.
1) There must be the One Who Reveals Himself.
No.
2) There must be the One IN whom He Reveals
Himself.
No.
3) There must be the Ones TO Whom He reveals
Himself.
And so we see that it
takes all three parts to make up the Revelation of Jesus Christ. And this is
why men messed it up so badly back in the Alpha Ministry of Christ. And that is
why so many mess it up today. Because to them it is a mental
thing. To them it is an intellectual affair. Knowing about Him, rather
than knowing Him.
But when we see the
three fold makeup for the revelation to be made known, and that we are 1/3 of
that makeup, then we realize it is for us and to us and in us.
We were told by the
Apostle Paul, the Gospel writers themselves, and even Irenaeus, that the people
did not understand the relationship between God and His Son back in their days.
And because they did not understand what the scripture said pertaining to how
God was to Reveal Himself through His own Son, who was born and lived among
them, therefore they did not understand how He fit in
with the Fathers plans in this great Revealing of the mighty God among us. And
so Paul gave us the key when he explained the Jesus Factor in Colossians
So we see here, that
just as there had to be God revealing Himself, yet we find that he always uses
a vessel. And as in the Alpha where He used the body of His dear Son, so He had
to use a vessel in the Omega. The God Who
reveals, working through the one IN Whom He reveals.
And it is this One in whom He
reveals, that is always so misunderstood. Because the vessel
is never seen to measure up to the expectations of the ones who are doing the
viewing of this revealing.
John
this? Because we
read in
Isaiah
53:2 “when we shall see Him, there is no beauty that we should desire Him.”
1 Corinthians
2: 8 “For had they known who He
was, they would not have crucified the
Lord of Glory.”
And so see the
significance of our being Elected and specially chosen by God Himself, even
before He framed the world, to become recipients of His Glory, and therefore, we see the great
significance of the Holy Spirit, the Great Father of Glory Who has personally
come down among us in this last hour, and He is here with the purpose of giving
us “The Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation in the knowledge of Himself”
which we see in Ephesians
1:17.
We also see how
important it is to receive this Revelation and Wisdom and Knowledge, for only
those who receive it can in fact receive first the change in the inner man,
which is needed first before the we are to receive a body change that will
allow for a Rapture or catching away. Because in
receiving this Revelation of Christ
within us, we are in actuality receiving His substance which is the
ultimate reality of Christ's Life in us. O, how I wish I could find better words to lay this out for you.
Look, the Apostle Paul said in Romans
12:1-3 I beseech you
therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies
a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is
your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to
this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye
may prove (that
you may become the proof of) what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. 3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to
every man that is among you, not to think of himself
more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God
hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
So in God having dealt
to every man a specific measure of this faith,
What Paul is telling us is, that in essence, God has dealt to every man a
certain portion of his own Substance, which is a certain portion of the ultimate
reality or Proof within each believer of that
personification of God-Life that we hope for.
2 Corinthians 4: 16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet
the inward man is renewed day by day.
In other words, even
though we can look into the mirror in our bedroom or bathroom and we can see
the outward man perishing day by day, yet within us we can look into the mirror
of God's Word, into His Promises, and we can see the same God-Life forming in
us, that formed in Christ Jesus and thus we can see Christ in us as our ultimate
reality.
In Colossians 3:1 If ye then be
risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set your
affection on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For ye are dead, and your
life is hid with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, (shall manifest in his
true character) then shall ye also appear (manifest
in our true character) with him in glory.
(with
Him in the same doxa, the same opinions, the same
values and in the same judgments. And if we truly have entered into our
ultimate reality by manifesting the revelation of Christ in us, then it will
follow that we will also) 5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth;
fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness,
which is idolatry:
We also find in Ephesians 4:22 "That ye put off concerning the former (behavior) the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; 23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; 24 And
that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in
righteousness and true holiness."
In other words, as we
see the old man dying daily, and our old behavior is slowly dying with it, we
also see a new nature, and it's new characteristics which manifest themselves
in new behaviors which arise from within our souls that only wants to be like
Christ, and that new life that is growing up within us, that is our
substance, and as our substance it must become our ultimate
reality of who we are.
And we see this renewal
process in Colossians
And that is our new
reality, our ultimate reality, that it is God in us working to will and to do.
So it comes down to
this. "As a man thinketh
in his heart so is he". And therefore what revelation you
have in your heart, that is what
you become. If we have the revelation of Christ, then we become Christ,
filled with Christ Life, and we will eventually manifest Christ of Christ Life
to the world.
You see, your revelation
becomes your sacrifice. And Abel offered unto God a bleeding dying Lamb and he
became a bleeding dying lamb.
And Paul said in Romans
12 that we are to 1: I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of
God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable
unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye
transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
But what if your heart
is filled with other thoughts? Other doctrines of your own?
Such as what things you imagine in your mind, what happens to that?
From his sermon, Everlasting
Life 54-1231 P:9 brother Branham said, "You can say, "You see that there?" And you just
keep saying, "Yes, I believe it." And believe it so much till
actually you think you see it, when you don't. See? That's right. But that's
psychology. But It's just got you so mentally
pressed towards it, till you just imagine it, imagine it so much till
it becomes a reality. You just imagine somebody hates you, once. And they
don't hate you, but you imagine they do, and you just keep thinking,
"They don't like me." And the first thing you'll be shunning that
person, when they haven't done nothing to you. And after
while, it become such a reality to you, till you'll actually believe that that
person doesn't like you. And you'll might bawl them out or say something to
you, for instance your wife, or your husband, or some neighbor, or something
like that, when, the person is absolutely innocent of any ill thing. It's
because that you just imagine it so, till it become a reality to you. Now,
see what I mean?
So it all comes down to
what is our focus. Is it Christ? Are you so filled with thoughts of Christ that
you live like Christ, and act like Christ and talk like Christ and think like
Christ until you become so Christ Like that people will actually think you are
Christ.
And of course you can
not even get there without being filled with Christ's own life,
So we see that our what we are focused on are actually the things we think
about, and what we talk about, and it will be expressed in the way we talk, and
it will be expressed in our actions, and how we react to people, and just about
every aspect of our life.
Or are we so filled with self that all our
thoughts are on self. If that is tghe case you can
not even please God in that condition.
THE MESSAGE Romans 8:5-8 Those who think
they can do it on their own end up obsessed with measuring their own moral
muscle but never get around to exercising it in real life. Those who trust
God's action in them find that God's Spirit is in them—living and breathing
God! Obsession with self in these matters is a dead end; attention to God leads
us out into the open, into a spacious, free life. Focusing on the self is
the opposite of focusing on God. Anyone completely absorbed in self ignores
God, ends up thinking more about self than God. That person ignores who God is
and what he is doing. And God isn't pleased at being ignored. 9-11But if God
himself has taken up residence in your life, you can hardly be thinking more of
yourself than of him. Anyone, of course, who has not welcomed this invisible
but clearly present God, the Spirit of Christ, won't know what we're talking
about. But for you who welcome him, in whom he dwells—even though you still
experience all the limitations of sin—you yourself experience life on God's
terms. It stands to reason, doesn't it, that if the alive-and-present God who
raised Jesus from the dead moves into your life, he'll do the same thing in you
that he did in Jesus, bringing you alive to himself? When God lives and
breathes in you (and he does, as surely as he did in Jesus), you are delivered
from that dead life. With his Spirit living in you, your body will be as alive
as Christ's! 12-14So don't you see that we don't owe this old do-it-yourself
life one red cent. There's nothing in it for us, nothing at all. The best thing
to do is give it a decent burial and get on with your new life. God's Spirit
beckons. There are things to do and places to go! 15-17This resurrection life
you received from God is not a timid, grave-tending life. It's adventurously
expectant, greeting God with a child like "What's next, Papa?" God's
Spirit touches our spirits and confirms who we really are. We know who he is,
and we know who we are: Father and children.
Now, back to the KJV
8:5 For they that are after self do mind the
things of self; but they that are after the Spirit do mind the things of the
Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is
life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind (Your own mind in your own Self) is
enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can
be. 8 So then they that are in self cannot please God. 9 But
ye are not in self, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwells
in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ,
he is none of his. 10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin;
but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But
if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that
raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his
Spirit that dwelleth in you. 12 Therefore, brethren,
we are debtors, not to self, to live after self. 13 For
if ye live after self, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify
(kill off) the deeds of self, ye shall live. 14 For as many as are led by the
Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15 For ye
have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the
Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit (God’s Spirit)
itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are
the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs;
heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him,
that we may be also glorified together.
Brother Branham said in his sermon, Second miracle 51-0729E P:8. "Faith is something that you; it's absolutely; it's not just what
you imagine; it's a reality. ...But about eighty percent of the
people that comes to the platform, doesn't know what
faith is. They have a hope, but not faith. But "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence
of things not seen."
Jubilee year 54-1003E P:53 When you are thoroughly convinced
that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and in your heart, now, not in your
imagination, but in your heart something echoes down there, and said,
"Now, I am saved." that's all you need, right there, brother. Confess
it out, and let your words go out. And then watch,
watch your life from then on. No more than a corn could bear cockleburs,
neither could that man bear evil fruits. He will have to bear good fruits. Jesus
said, "He that heareth My Words, and believeth on Him that sent Me, has Everlasting Life, and shall not come into
condemnation but's passed from death unto Life." That's because you
believed, not imagine, but you believe It. It become a
thought in your heart. The next thing, you expressed It
as a confession. "He that will confess Me before
men, him I'll confess before My Father and the holy Angels." Then
something anchors. That's the reality.
We must receive
revelation in our hearts in order to receive the change of our bodies. And as we saw in Colossians
Now, I think that it is
interesting to note that in everything God has for us, there is always a twin
to that thing.
Deuteronomy 28 tells us that for every Blessing, there
is also a cursing, but it all depends on our approach with God’s Word, and
whether we want to receive it. For in receiving It, we
receive the blessings, but in rejecting His Word, we receive the curse of God.
And since Life is the fruit of the blessing and suffering and death are the
fruits of the cursing, then why would anyone in their right mind, want to
reject what blesses.
Attitude and who is God? 50-0815 P:35 And when the inspiration of the Holy Spirit is here to inspire you,
remember, God will make your body come into your confession. If you say
you're a drunkard, and want a drink. Don't worry, you'll soon be one. If you
say you're a sinner, and want to sin, you'll be right into it. If you say
you're a Christian and believe it all along, God will bring... Your testimony
will bring you right into it. If you believe in healing, and believe that
God has healed you, confess it, and God will make your body obey your
confession, for He's the High Priest of your confession; setting at the
right-hand of the Father now with His own Blood to make intercessions for any
confession upon anything that He died for.
In Romans 7 the Apostle Paul
speaks to us about the war that goes on between the body of this death and our
spirit. He said the flesh is weak but the spirit is
strong, but most of the time people give in to their flesh.
Questions and answers
But Paul also taught us in Romans
So you can see that True
Christianity is full of Grace all the way. And Christian Life is there for you
if there is a desire in your heart to have it, because God will make a way for
you to have it.
In 2 Peter 1: 2-4 Grace and
peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that
pertain unto life and godliness, through the
knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us
exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers
of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world
through lust.
And so we see according to 2 peter that the reality of a Christ-Life
manifesting in us is there for us to have if we just accept it and take His
Word into our hearts. But most people just don't have the will to die to self
that God might Live in them their life for them. They
are more satisfied with just talking the talking instead of walking the walk.
Unfailing realities of God 60-0626 P:70 Here it is brought right to their face, why don't
people take it? Just exactly like they did in the days of
Jesus. They don't want realities. They want a creed. They
want something, go by, say, "I belong to this
place. I belong to this assembly. I belong..." What? You want to belong in
heaven. That's where your affections ought to be, on things above. Jesus
said, "Set your
affections on things above, not on things of the earth." They're going to fail. Stay with God. Stay with realities. God is a God
of reality. He's always been in all ages. Any time that man ever walked
with God, God become a reality that performed signs and wonders and miracles
with His people. It's God's purpose to do so..
What visions are 56-0421 P:64
A
freezing man can't get warm by a painted picture. He's got to have the
reality. What the world needs today is not a picture of Holy Ghost and
fire, but the real resurrected Christ by the baptism of the Holy Ghost and
fire again. That's what the world needs today: a reality, something
that they can rely upon, not a declaration of words, but a
realization of a risen Christ. Amen.
Melchisedec the great prince 55-0109M P:27 Healing of the body doesn't become a fiction, it becomes a reality. The
baptism of the Holy Spirit doesn't become any emotional, worked-up substance.
It becomes a reality of the indwelling Presence of the Lord Jesus Christ to
change the life.
So we see that Words,
whether true or false, they will actually manifest True or False. Because after all, if the Word is a seed, it is a carrier of Life.
Then it is a carrier of
either God Life or other life. And therefore after it is sown, it
must begin to bring forth a life in the image of what was sown. And that is
exactly what we read in Colossians 3:10.
But we also see this
spoken of in John
3: 18-21 He that
believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned
already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of
God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light
is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their
deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his
deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may
be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
Here you’ll notice that
we are looking at two different types of Life. One that hates
the light and one that can’t help coming to the Light. And we find that
the ones who come to it come because they have their source in it and that
which they manifest because of it is exactly what the others who have their
source in it do as well. Because after all, “Birds of a Feather will flock together.” And that is not
just an old saying, it is a truism. 1 Peter
Then those born of incorruptible seed
must gather together with like seed, and those born of corruptible seed will eventually
flock together with corruptible seed as well. They can’t help it, their
spirit’s call out to each other.
The Apostle John said in 1 John 2: 19-21 the same thing. 19 They went out from
us, because they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that
they were not all of us. 20 But ye have an unction from
the Holy One, and ye know all things. 21 I have not written unto you
because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of
the truth.
Notice, he also said, 1 John 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God hears us; he that is not of
God hears not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth,
and the spirit of error.
Now, why would this be placed in Holy Scripture
if it were not a principle for us to know and understand. Now, it shouldn't be
used to throw down on people who leave, but on the other hand we should not
throw away the principle John is laying out here either. The reality is that if
we have the same seed as it says in Genesis 1:11,
then every seed must bring forth after it's kind. And that means when you harvest wheat
you harvest wheat. You don't harvest wheat and everything else together. What a
job to separate the wheat that would be. Jesus said first bundle the tears
together and then gather my wheat into my garner.
Now, what am I trying to say here is this. Your doctrine will crystallize who you are and your
thoughts will materialize in your actions. And either the Life of Christ by the
baptism of the Holy Ghost becomes a reality in you, or something else will come
along to take you out. And that something will not be external it will be
internal.
For just as Christ in you becomes your hope
of Glory, your hope of having and manifesting God's opinion, God' values and
God's judgments, so too the thoughts you have in your mind if watered will
manifest themselves in your actions whatever they might be.
John told us in 1 John 2: 18-21
That we can not help but manifest what we are. And he
further tells us that if we are of God we will receive Gods Word, and we will
flock together. But if we are not of God we will no doubt have to leave those
who are.
And the Apostle Paul
said that it takes Light to make you manifest what you really arefor whatever doth make manifest is light.
Ephesians
Therefore, if there is
no light then we will never know what the seed really is. Then we should not be
so surprised when we see people we might have known for years and years become
different so quickly. I know quite a few people who had followed what they
thought was the Message for many years and then when they finally were exposed
as to what the Message Truly is, they high tailed it right out into the world.
They couldn’t stand the
pressure and had to get away from it. Yet it is the pressure that is essential
to bringing forth the diamond out from a lump of ugly black coal. But no one
really wants pressure and yet without it we do not stand a chance at becoming
what the seed characteristics in us are ordained to be.
The mighty Oak once
began as a little nut. An acorn nut, but when it was planted, it began to break
out of it’s shell and one day as it popped it’s little head above the ground
the winds begin to blow. In order to survive, it began to stretch forth it’s
roots and the more the wind would blow the greater it’s roots would reach out,
and that is exactly what happens with us in our walk as well. The more we are
challenged in our walk and belief in the Truth, the more we begin to search the
Scripture for answers, and the more answers we find the more Satan challenges
our faith, the more the winds of doubt blow and if we are the true vine we will
dig deeper into the Word for more answers and thus the struggle goes and yet as
we grow more and more in the Knowledge of our Lord and Savior, we also grow more
and more in Grace and Peace, and we become more and more filled with His divine
Life.
2
Peter 1: 2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you
through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
And so we see how that
this manifestation of the Word Attributes and characteristics of God are formed
into us.
As we read in 2 Peter 2: 4
Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and
precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature,
having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
So we can see that God’s
very nature, His Divine Nature comes into us by the Word.
