The Christ that sends you,

Brian Kocourek, Pastor
This morning let's open our Bibles to John
Now,
this morning we will take our thoughts from Christ
is the Mystery no 128 Christian Life
No 9 The Christ That Sends Us Goes In Us
We read from Christ is the
mystery 63-0728 P:208 where brother Branham
said, "Now, notice, God making Himself known.
We're not suppose to make converts to Christianity by
a government, but by
the revelation of Christ in you as God was in Christ. As God was in Christ, Christ in
you. What God did in Christ, Christ does in you. What signs
did God in Christ, Christ does in you. (notice
here that brother Branham is referring to John
I hope you see how brother Branham is making
an unmistakable connection between John
Now, we pick up at paragraph 208 again. He says, "Oh, isn't that beautiful? Oh, my. I like that.
Jesus said "at
that day"
(that's this day), (notice, we're not talking of Luther's day, nor Wesley's
day, but we're talking about this day.
According to Webster's dictionary the
word "Revelation"
means: a
manifestation of divine will or truth.
Now notice, it
is not just knowing the Divine will or knowing the Divine truth as
though it comes via some mental awareness, but it tells us that Revelation is a manifestation
of Divine will or truth. So we are talking about in that day when the
revelation of Divine will and Divine truth manifests itself, and we will know
because we see that manifestation for ourselves.
The Apostle Paul tells us how he
received the revelation of Jesus Christ and it was not by going to some
seminary or from hearing some preacher, but he says in
Ephesians 3:3 How that by revelation he made known unto
me the mystery; as I wrote afore in few words, Whereby,
when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ.
Now how did Paul come to know the
mystery of Christ? Because he didn’t learn it from Jesus
Christ in the flesh. And he didn’t learn it from the Apostles
themselves. It came from a revelation, a revealing, a manifesting of
Divine truth and Divine will through the Pillar of Fire making known to Paul
that the Life that lived and expressed itself in Jesus is the same Life
that raised up Jesus from the dead, is the same
God-Life that was talking to Him out of that Pillar of Fire.
So it is this manifestation that is so all important to us.
Not what teacher taught you, that is only mental knowledge.
But the expression
of God-Life made known to you and through you. Now, let’s read
again this last paragraph we started here.
Someone said to brother Branham “I believe everything you say brother
Branham”, and you know
what brother Branham told him? He said, “That just means you can read”.
From his sermon What Holy Ghost was given for 59-1217 P:38 brother Branham said, “You say, "I believe it because the
pastor said so.” He's right, but that doesn't count for you. "I
believe it because the Word says so.” That's right, but that isn't for you; that doesn't count you.
The only way that you can say that Jesus is the Christ, is when the Holy
Ghost comes into you, and bears record, and witnesses Itself out; He is the Son of God.
That's the only way you know the resurrection, is when the Holy Ghost bears record.
"When He the Holy
Ghost is come, He will testify of Me, show you things
to come, bring these things that I've said to your memories." You'll never find it in the school.
See? He will bring these things to your memories. "
So what’s he saying here? He’s saying
that the only way you will know the power of the resurrection is for the
resurrection power to come into you and live your life for you. He will take your body and live
His life in your body and then you will know, because that life
will be expressed in you. And that is when you will know that you are indeed
born again. That’s what the new birth is all about. Not just knowing something
happened. The devil can impersonate all of that. Not just some experience you had,
but when you
experience Christ living His Life in your body, out from
deep within you comes the very Life, and thoughts, and Words of Christ.
In other words, when you know that your
life has been taken over, and there is another Life living in you which has possessed your body,
and the evidence of that Life expressing itself out from you has the same
nature and the same characteristics that expressed itself in Jesus Christ.
Until that happens, you are only hoping you are born again. Let's just pause for
a moment to let that soak in.
Br. Branham in quoting James says,
"Then faith without
works is dead." If you say, "I believe it,"
and don't make no act... Just like the Message. If you
say, "I believe it," don't make no act, what good does it
do? See? Noah went to work with his hammer and built an ark to confirm what he
was talking about. That's what we have to do too. We have to go to work and prove
our faith by our works. Our works proves our faith. Moses had to
do it, and Elijah had to do it. Every prophet in his
age had to stand up and face these responsibilities. But many of them didn't do
like Jonah. He run; they didn't.
From his sermon Putting on the whole armor of God 62-0607 P:78 brother Branham pretty well nails down
how you will know if you are a true believer. And it isn’t by being able to
recite the scriptures or an apostles creed or even our
prophet of this hour. He tells us point blank that "if
you truly believe all the Word then it will manifest in your life by doing the
very same things Jesus did." That is why I'm focusing so much on John
Colossians 3:1 If ye then be risen
with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection
on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For
ye are dead,
and your life is hid
with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, (shall phaneroo,
shall manifest Himself in his true character) then shall ye also appear (phaneroo,
manifest yourself in uyour true character) with him in glory. (with him in the same doxa,
the same values, the same opinions, the same judgments.)
Look, Paul is telling us when Christ who is Our Life, when he shall manifest in His True
identity is when he
does it through you. And so when he manifests you manifest. In What? In the same Glory, the same opinions and
values that He manifested to man at the alpha. and you will do so at the Omega.
John 17:18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also send them into the world.
Good shepherd of the sheep 57-0308 P:47 He's
sending the Church in the same way that God sent Him. The God that sent Him, went with Him. The Christ that sends the Church, goes in the Church. And the very
same works... God was in
Christ, what doing? Expressing Himself to the world.
No man had seen the Father at any time; the Father's a Spirit. But the only
begotten of the Father has declared Him. He's in here. God was in Christ expressing Himself to the
world, what His
attitude was, what He thought of the world, how He loved the world. He so loved
the world that He laid down His own Life for it. And the only way He could die
as a mortal, He had to become mortal. God was in Christ. And what Christ was He put that into
the Church and redeemed us by His Blood. "And the same works that I do, shall you do
also." And a
woman one time believed that. She touched His garment, went out in the crowd,
and stood out there. And Jesus said, "Who touched Me?"
How many knows that's the Gospel? Sure, it is.
Why it had to be shepherds 64-1221 P:67 Notice,
He said, "As the
Father sent Me, so send I you." The Father that sent Him, went
in Him to confirm the Word. And the same Jesus that sends His people, goes in the people that He sends; that's saying,
"The works that I
do, shall you do also."
Sure, He prayed that
we might be one: one with Him, not one with an organization, not one with a system, but one with God. For God and His Word is One, and Jesus and God was One, and you and I and the Word
must be one. That's right. We must be one in agreement with the Word.
Not what somebody else says, This is of no private
interpretation. Take It, what It says, and believe
It; and God will vindicate It, and prove that It's right. You think it's just for
disciples only, take His Word for it; go try it once and see. You'll find out that it will
work for you just the same as He promised. Yes, sir. They won't eat
on slop; they have to have a sheep diet.
Spiritual Adoption 56-0923 P:46 Now, coming to the close... It was on the mountain, and after
Jesus had been an obedient Child, the flesh, the Lamb, had been led by the
Holy Spirit, God, moving in Him... "I come not to do My will, but the
will of Him that sent Me. And the
One that sent Me, the Father that sent Me is with Me.
And as the Father hath sent Me, and went with Me, so
send I you." Not only did He send, but He
went with Him. And God don't just educate a man and send him out
with a declaration of some seminary experience, but if he's equipped, God
goes with him. "I'll be with you, even in you, to the end of the age." Notice,
beautifully, oh how the Word does so go together. How the Holy Spirit
cements it into the heart of the people by revelation and love of the Lord
Jesus.
John 17:19 And for their
sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.
20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me
through their word; 21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me,
and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe
that thou hast sent me. 22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given
them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that
the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast
loved me.
And that led us to Christ is the Mystery no 129 Christian Life No 10 A Prisoner of Christ where we took our text from Philemon 1:1 Paul, a
prisoner of Jesus Christ, and Timothy our brother, unto Philemon our dearly
beloved, and fellow-laborer, And then in verse 9 Paul again says, Yet for
love's sake I rather beseech thee, being such an one as Paul the aged, and now
also a prisoner of Jesus Christ.
Notice Paul calls himself a prisoner of
the Lord Jesus Christ. Now, the word prisoner used here is the Greek word desmios,
which means to be bound
to, or captive to.
Paul was not saying he is a prisoner as
though he has done wrong and is in prison for it. And he is not saying his
captivity is against his will. But what he is alluding to here is that he has bound Himself to the Lord.
Just as we would say in speaking of a
person who held to their convictions strongly, They
are captive to their conscience.
The same with Paul, he made Himself a
captive audience to what God was doing. In other words, his entire focus was not on the world nor the things of the world but on what God
is doing in his hour. Therefore Paul could earnestly proclaim that he was a
captive of the Lord, and bound to what God was doing. And
even to the Ephesian
church which Paul
pastored for some time he said, Ephesians 3:1 For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus
Christ for you Gentiles, Notice, not
for himself, but for you gentiles.
And again in Ephesians 4:1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you
that ye walk worthy
of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
In his 2nd
letter to Timothy, the Apostle Paul said, 2 Timothy 1:8 Be
not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou
partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;
204 (441-book) And see, God Himself making Himself known and
pulsating Himself through the Life that you're a prisoner to Him now.
Notice what a beautiful description
brother Branham uses here, God Himself in making Himself
known pulsates His own Life through you making you a prisoner, a love prisoner
to Him. You women know what I'm talking about, when you first hear that little
pulse or that heart beat from that little life whose heart is beating in unison
with your heart. When I first heard the little heart beat of my children and
then my grandchild Ella, and not only hearing her little heart beat but her
mother, my daughter's heart beating in unison with her own daughter.
Oh, how it makes me realize when Paul
said, "I am crucified
with Christ," he was saying, I have willingly died to myself, and
the Life I am now living in this flesh, can not be my own, because I am dead to
myself, but there is another Life pulsating through my veins, and it pulsates
within me, giving me life. His Life. And the Life I now live in this flesh, I am living by the Life of
Christ. So my heart
beats in unison with His heart, and when His heart beats, my beats in response
to his, and the life that is pulsating through me is the one that is conforming
to the Image of the first born son, and that same image is coming forth in me.
Let's read it again and continue..."And see, God Himself making Himself
known and pulsating Himself through the Life that you're a prisoner to Him now.
You are His love prisoner. The world can laugh, make fun them, say, "Come
on out." You could go, but you're a prisoner. The other women can act
In his sermon, Paul A Prisoner Of
Christ 63-0717 26-4 brother Branham tells us how that Paul
was able to become willingly a prisoner of Christ. He said, "Forsake his own, he had to forsake everything that he
knowed, forget all of his training and everything in order to know the will of
God and to follow God. He can't follow anything that man's got to do and God,
the same time. It's too contrary, one to another. You can't be going east and
west at the same time; you can't be going right and left at the same time; you
can't be doing right and wrong at the same time; you can't be following man and
God at the same time. No, sir, you're either following God or following man.
Now, then if you're following God and have submitted yourself to God, then you
become a prisoner to that God, to that Word, to that will. No matter what
anything else is, you become a prisoner to it. You've got to check your will
with God's will, then you will do the right thing.
In other words, the purpose of God's
breathing forth His Word into your Soul, is to transfix your Soul with a pre-occupation of His Word,
and purpose. God fills you with His own Breathe and Life and
thus takes over your soul which then takes over your entire being. You become
possessed with God Life, and thus you no longer are capable of living for
yourself, but you are a prisoner, yielded only to the Life and power which has
taken over your being.
Christ is the Mystery no 130 Christian Life No 11 Same Spirit Same Actions
So for starters let's look at this word "as", because that is the basis of
this revelation. As God was in Christ, So Christ is in you. "as".
Now, according to
Webster's New World Dictionary, the word "as" means "in the same way or manner". So we are looking at relationship and
proximity here. God in Christ, Christ in you. God in Christ equals God's Presence in
Jesus. Christ in you equals His Presence in you.
Let me read this for you from the new
translation called "The Message" so you will understand what I am
talking about here.
Romans 8:9-11 But if God himself has taken up residence in
your life, you can hardly be thinking more of yourself than of him. Anyone, of
course, who has not welcomed this invisible but clearly present God, the Spirit
of Christ, won’t know what we’re talking about. But for you who welcome him, in
whom he dwells, even though you still experience all the limitations of sin,
you yourself experience life on God’s terms. It stands to reason, doesn’t it,
that if the alive-and-present God who raised Jesus from the dead moves into
your life, he’ll do the same thing in you that he did in Jesus, bringing you
alive to himself? When God lives and breathes in you (and he does, as surely as
he did in Jesus), you are delivered from that dead life. With his Spirit living
in you, your body will be as alive as Christ’s own body was with God Living in
Him!
Notice the wording here and you will see
that what Paul is saying here is the same thing that William Branham said in
His sermon, as we will read on in just a moment. But first notice Paul's words,
"if the
alive-and-present God who raised Jesus from the dead moves into your life, he’ll
do the same thing in you that he did in Jesus."
Notice that he is saying literally the
same thing that William Branham laid out for us in the paragraph, (1) As God was in Christ, Christ is in you. Then it stands to reason that the very
next thing he would say is (2)
[/b]What God did in Christ, Christ does in you.
Again, we hear William Branham tells us
if we have the same Spirit living in us that lived in Jesus it will act the
same way it acted in him. And that is what Paul says, "if the alive-and-present God
who raised Jesus from the dead moves into your life, he’ll do the same thing in
you that he did in Jesus."
Brother Branham said in his sermon, Time tested faith 58-0530 P:56 So then, when a certain situation rises, and God's called on the
scene to act, the way God acts that time, He has to act every time; when the
same circumstances rises again, He has to act the same way He did the first
time, or He acted wrong the way He acted the first time. In other words, if
there was a sinner calling for mercy, and God saved that sinner, the next
sinner calls, God's got to act the same way. If a man is dying, and the doctors
can't help him, and he calls on God and calls Him to the scene, and God heals
that person, He's got to act the same way again (See?), for if He didn't, He
did wrong when He acted the first time.
Therefore if the Spirit of God which
lived in Jesus quickened his body so, that the Spirit in Him caused his body to
obey His confession and raised Him up from the dead, then that same Spirit
living in you will have to act the same way and will have to make your body
respond the same way Jesus body responded to the word of God or it isn't the
same Spirit living in you that lived in him.
Making the valley full of
ditches 56-0728 P:41 How can you expect anybody to believe
you when you're running around and acting the way you do, and then come in
and call yourselves Christians? No wonder they don't call for you come pray
for them and so forth.
Have not I sent thee
62-0124 P:124 Then if His mind be in us, He will act
the same way, because He is the High Priest. And He's the Word of God;
Hebrews Chapter 6 and 7
57-0915M P:29 Now, notice. If God acted any one time
on a certain circumstance, and if that same circumstance
arise again, He's got to act the second time like He did the first time
or He's unjust. See? No matter how bad you are in sin, how stooped you may
become, He's got to act to you like He did that fallen woman or He acted wrong
then. God's behavior is His Person, and what He is in His behavior declares
His Person. And that's the way you are: in your behavior of life tells what
you are. As we had and went through, a lesson or two ago, the
Methodist people wanted to declare, "When you shout, you got It." The
Pentecostal says, "When you spoke with tongues, you've got It." The Shaker said, "When you shake, you got
It," the
Influence 63-1130B P:13 And then we never know just what we're doing, or what influence
and what we're doing is having upon others. The Bible said, "We are written epistles, read of all men." That is, your life reads so loud
to the public, until your testimony, if it's contrary to your life, is without
any effect. It's
what you are inside of you that people read: not so much what you say, but what
you are.
Time tested memorials of
God 57-0818 P:20 You see, a man's character is made known
by his works. Whatever you are, your works prove what you are. No matter how much you
testify, whatever you say, pro or con, that has nothing to do with it; your works
tell what you are, tells
what you are inside. Every job that you do manifests what you are.
And you business men, if you just do a patched up job, see what I mean, just a
halfway job, don't do that. If you can't do it right, don't do it at all. That's right.
When you come to Christ, if you can't absolutely sell out lock, stock, and
barrel, and come to Christ, don't come at all. But when you really want to be a
Christian, stand out, make it real. That's what God wants you to be. And
that'll prove... Your works
will prove what your character is. Your character is known by the works that
you do.
Love 57-0519E P:23 It's the atmosphere that counts. That's right. So it's the
atmosphere. And you
make up that atmosphere with what you are inside of you.
Lamb and the dove 57-0325
P:9 And that's how a Christian is known, by the fruit that he bares;
not the way he dresses, how intellectually he is, how well educated he is, what
church he goes to. He's
known by the life that he lives. That's what proves that's inside of
him. And when we find out that... Many times we try to make the Christian
church look good on the outside; we try to make ourself neatly appeared on the
outside. That's all right. Sometimes if we try to shout and act like the next
Christian, why, I don't know whether I'd say that was right or not. I don't
believe it is. I believe you're trying to impersonate there. You must be
just what you are on the inside. It's just a natural thing. If you try to
make yourself act like something, then it becomes hypocrisy. Jesus said, "How
can you call Me Lord and do not the things that He asks you to do? How can you call Me Lord?"
for "lordship" is "ownership." So if we call Him Lord, we
must do the things that He told us to do.
And
that led us to Christ is the Mystery no 131 Christian Life No 12 Life Of
The Word
And we took our text from Genesis
1 John 1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we
have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and
our hands have handled, of the Word of life; 2 (For the life was manifested,
and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto
you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)
3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have
fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his
Son Jesus Christ.
Now, all life goes through a growing
pattern, begins in the roots, and moves up until one day it fully matures and
you know it is fully mature when it bears the fruit it is ordained to bear.
Then it is harvest ready, and that is what we are going through, until we grow up into Christ.
John 12:23 And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is
come, that the Son of man should be glorified. 24 Verily, verily, I say unto
you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and
die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
Jesus told us in John 6:63 That the word of God is Life. And that the
Spirit of God quickens that Life in us. "It is the spirit that quickeneth;
the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak
unto you, they are spirit, and [they] are life."
Now, the Life had to be in the Father
before it could come into the son. And while it is in the Father it is still in
seed form.
John 5:26 For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath
he given to the Son to have life in himself;
And again in Acts
Vrother Branham said the
sole purpose of our receiving the Holy Ghost is to manifest Holy Ghost. Then why would brothers fear about sons of God manifesting as sons of God. If we manifest the Holy Ghost Life
then aren't we manifesting God to the world? And isn't that just what brother
Branham said we are to do? God wants us to be co workers with him to manifest God-Life
to the world. So what would you rather me call it, the manifestation of the sons of God like
the Bible calls it? Or the manifestation of God?
After all, if God is the Word and we are
born of the Word, then won't
we manifest Word to the World? Didn't the apostle Peter teach us
that our New Birth comes by the Word of God being sparked off in our being. I Peter
Now, notice he told us there are corruptible seeds and there is an
incorruptible seed.
And he tells us the
incorruptible seed is the Word of God, for all other seed have a beginning and an ending of
Life but there is only one source of Eternal Life, for there is
only One Eternal, and that is God’s own Life. Therefore when you receive
Eternal Life is when the very life of God comes into you and sparks you to the
Life that He ordained for you even before He framed the world into existence.
Because you had to be a part of God in order to have eternal Life.
In fact we see the entire plan of God in
Ephesians chapter One. So let’s open out Bible to Ephesians chapter One and
begin reading at verse 3 Blessed be the
God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual
blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
Now here we are told that not only is
God the Father of Jesus Christ but He is also the God of Jesus Christ. He said,
"Blessed be the
God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,"
Now,
in the next verse we see that we were actually in Him before the foundations of
the world. 4 "According as he hath chosen us in
him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without
blame before him" or in His presence..
Then because of His great Love he has
for His own He sets in order His great Plan for His Children.
5 "in love having predestinated
us" (now, notice that having predestinated us is speaking in the past
tense. This is what He did while we were yet in His mind before He even framed
the worlds. Then when God framed the worlds with us in His mind, He framed them
for us to enjoy. God existed for an eternity before He even framed the worlds,
so He didn’t do it for Himself, he didn’t need it, but He did it for you and I so that we might enjoy the mountains and the sea, and the
valleys and the rivers etc. Therefore we read, ) 5 "in love having predestinated us unto
the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good
pleasure of his will," so it was His good pleasure to predestinate
us unto the adoption of Children by Jesus Christ.
Now, in the old
testament when a son was born he was raised under tutors and governors
until the time appointed of the Father. And when the child, the first born
showed Himself to be able and mindful of what His Father wanted, in other
words, an obedient son, the Father would take him out and before the public he
would adopt his first born son. Then that son would be given 50% of all that
the father owned. The rest of the children did not receive a portion until the
Father died.
But as long as the father lived the
others received no inheritance. And we have a Father who is the only immortal
King and who can not die, so it was expedient in the plan of the Father to
allow His Son Jesus to die that we might receive His inheritance. And that is
what the Apostle Paul is saying here. Ephesians
1:5 "in
love having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to
himself, according to the good pleasure of his will.6 To the praise of the glory
of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. 7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the
forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; 8 herein he hath
abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;"
Now, in getting back to the seed Life,
we see also in John 6: 68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom
shall we go? thou hast "the words of eternal
life".
And so we see that the Word is a Seed
and the Life in that seed is God’s Life, Eternal Life. John 5: 24 "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He
that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent
me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed
from death unto life."
And therefore the attributes of one
ordained or predestinated to Life (To God Life) is that they will believe. Acts
John 6: 63 "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth
nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are
life."

Christ is the
Mystery no 132 Christian
Life No 13 Life Of The Word Expressed where
we spoke from paragraph 209 and let's read the first part as well. "As (in the same way) Jesus was the Word of God, He
vindicated the same. If He wasn't the Word, He wouldn't have made manifest the
Word."
Now, notice he says, As Jesus was the Word of God, He vindicated the same.
We've got to ask the question, how was
Jesus the Word? Because what Br. Branham is saying here is "in the same way Jesus was the Word of God,
he was vindicated the same".
The same what? He was vindicated the same? What does he mean by that?
He says, "As" (or in the same way, or in the same
manner that) Jesus was the Word of God, He vindicated
the same.
First of all, we need to understand how
Jesus was the Word of God, because we know the Scripture tells us that God is the Word. And I know the Oneness believe since
God is the Word and the Word became flesh, then God became flesh, so they say
"there really is no son", except they say, "God
is the Son Himself", and that's pure hogwash.
We read in John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word
was with God, and the Word was God.
Notice it can't be any plainer than
that, right? then we read on in verse 2 The same was in the beginning with God.
Jesus said in John
Therefore it is very apparent that we
are made one in God and in Christ by receiving the same Glory which brings us
into the same mind as the Father. And the glory which thou gavest me I have
given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
Now, from his sermon, Harvest Time 641212 87 034 Brother Branham said, "Jesus said, "That they might be one, Father, as You and I
are one." Not
for some man to be over something, it never will work;
one denomination wants to take over the other, and one man over the other. But that you
might be one with God, like Christ and God was one; that's what the prayer is. He was the
Word, and Jesus prayed that we might be the Word, reflecting Him. That's
His prayer to be answered. See how Satan scruples it up in the carnal mind? But
that wasn't Jesus' prayer, at all, that we might all congregate together and
all have a certain creed and so forth. Every time they do it, they go further
and further from God. He wants us to be one with God, and God is the Word.
Each individual in his heart must be that one with God.
