Review no 30 Twins - Source - Angels

This evening in continuing our review of the series on Christ is the mystery 63-0728 P:256  we will take our text from pp 256 where brother Branham said, "Notice, Lucifer in the last days is doing as he did at first. What did Lucifer do? The first thing that Lucifer done to separate the fellowship of God and man, he wanted to build him a united kingdom of greater splendor and seemingly more cultured, a greater kingdom than Michael, Christ had. You got it? Now, now, if you miss it, just hold up your hand and I'll say it again. You see? See? Lucifer at the beginning, his purpose in heart was to achieve a brighter and greater thing in heaven than Christ had (Is that right?) by seemingly a more cultured, more beautiful, more splendor than the Kingdom of Christ.

 

This is no 5 in our series on Twins, and no 2 in our series within Twins called source. Sunday we began on Source by showing where the Life that is in sons of God comes from God Life, and tonight we will look at the angels and Lucifer himself as the source of other life, perverted life.

 

Five Identifications 60-0911E  177 So the first thing He created... Now, some of you want to know about my Genesis story; God said, "Let us make man." The first thing He created was angels to worship Him, then He become God.

 

Identified Christ Of All Ages 64-0409  E-25 "In the beginning was the Word." Before It was even expressed, It was a thought, attribute. In this thinking He was to be God. Probably created angels first, then He was worshipped, He was God.

 

Now, I believe the first thing created was Lucifer, because he was called son of the morning, and we know the morning or morning star is the Son of God.

 

Influence 64-0315 E-37 Note the heavenly Seraphims with coverings over their faces. Now, the Seraphims is the burners of the sacrifice, which is one of the highest orders of angels. They're next to the cherubims. There is angels, and then Seraphims, and then cherubims. And Seraphims is actually the burner of the sacrifice, making the way for the sinners' approach, a real high order of holiness in the temple of God.

 

Notice the order of creation, and the order in which God fashioned the angels. There is angels, (that's the lowest form) and then Seraphims, (that's the next step up in the order of angels) and then cherubims. (Notice the cherubim is the highest order of angels.)

 

21-129 Hebrews Chapter 57-0821 "This Great Fountain of Spirit which had no beginning or no end. This Great Spirit began to form in the creation, and the Logos that went out from It was the Son of God. It was the only visible form that the Spirit had. And It was a theophany, which means a body, and the body was like a man.

 

Seal of the Antichrist 55-0311  E-18    The right hand man of Almighty God was Lucifer, the son of the morning. The first, God granted him almost co-workers with Him; he was a co-worker, partly equal with Him; only Satan could not create. God is the only Creator, but Satan took something that God created and perverted it back into something else, evil. And now notice, when Cain and Abel, a very beautiful picture of it... Cain and Abel was nothing more than the prefigure of Judas and Jesus.

 

Ezekiel 28:14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.  

 

Now, the word covereth was translated from a Hebrew word meaning to cover over. So we must ask the question,  "what were these two cherubims covering and why?"

 

Now we have a vindicated prophet who told us that these two cherubs were covering over the Ark of the covenant to protect the Testimony of God, that's His Word. He also told us that these two cherubs led in the worship, one was Michael and the other was Lucifer.

 

Revelation Chapter 4 pt 2 24 elders 61-0101 P:90 Now, Moses made things on earth, made the tabernacle like the things that he saw in heaven. We know that, don't we? We find Paul did the same thing. Must have... Hebrews 9:23, that Moses made things just like he did. And Paul in his vision when he went up into heaven, when he taught that great Book of Hebrews, he must have saw in his vision the same thing that Moses saw. Because he said it, he taught that wonderful Book of Hebrews... how that Christianity was the antetype of the Old Testament. He was a great teacher; Paul was. Now, that was His throne then.  

 

 

Revelation chapter 4 pt 3 throne mercy 61-0108 P:129 Moses was taken up into heaven: Moses, taken from the earth up into heaven and saw the altar of God. Is that right? I'm trying to prove my point here. You know what I'm trying to do, don't you? All right. He went up in the Presence of God. And when he descended from the Presence of God, he said... God told Moses, "Make everything on earth as patterned after heaven." Is that right? All right. Now, then when he did, when he made the ark of the covenant, he put two Cherubims to guard the ark. See what it is? It was the temple... It was the altar, the throne guards. The two Cherubims, He said, "Mold them out of brass and put their wings a touching like this," because that's exactly what he saw in heaven.

 

Hebrews 8:5 Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.

 

Revelation chapter 4 pt 3 Throne of Mercy and Grace 61-0108 P:129 ... Exodus 25:10 to 22. Now, they guard the mercy seat when God is in His Shekinah Glory. Where was the Shekinah Glory? At the mercy seat. Is that right? They guard that Shekinah Glory. Um. Whew. Listen, friends. Then it goes to show that every scalawag can't come there and take of that. You've got to be prepared before you come into the Presence of it.

 

Exodus 25:9  According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it. 10  And they shall make an ark of shittim wood: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof. 11  And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, within and without shalt thou overlay it, and shalt make upon it a crown of gold round about. 12  And thou shalt cast four rings of gold for it, and put them in the four corners thereof; and two rings shall be in the one side of it, and two rings in the other side of it. 13  And thou shalt make staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold. 14  And thou shalt put the staves into the rings by the sides of the ark, that the ark may be borne with them. 15  The staves shall be in the rings of the ark: they shall not be taken from it. 16  And thou shalt put into the ark the testimony which I shall give thee. 17  And thou shalt make a mercy seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof. 18  And thou shalt make two cherubims of gold, of beaten work shalt thou make them, in the two ends of the mercy seat. 19  And make one cherub on the one end, and the other cherub on the other end: even of the mercy seat shall ye make the cherubims on the two ends thereof.  20  And the cherubims shall stretch forth their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubims be. 21  And thou shalt put the mercy seat above upon the ark; and in the ark thou shalt put the testimony that I shall give thee. (notice the testimony is God's Word) 22  And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.

 

So we see that Moses was to make the ark after the pattern God showed him in the heavens, and these two Cherubims were to cover the ark where God placed His Word, to protect it. They alone could look upon it, and together they led in the worship of God.  So we know what the ark represented, and we know there were two Cherubims placed there to protect it. They faced each other, like a man looking in a mirror, they were identical in every way, just the opposite because they faced in opposite directions.   TWINS.

 

And also in this pattern we see there was to be a breastplate that the High Priest wore that had four rows and three columns of Stones, and each stone represented a tribe of Israel.

 

 

We find the description of the Breast Plate of Aaron which the High Priest wore in Exodus chapter 28, and 39. To save time you can read these on your own.

 

Let's take just a brief run through of the Breastplate stone of the High priest.

 

EX 39:10  And they set in it four rows of stones: the first row was a (1)sardius, a (2)topaz, and a (3)carbuncle: this was the first row. EX 39:11 And the second row, an (4)emerald, a (5)sapphire, and a (6)diamond. EX 39:12 And the third row, a (7)ligure, an (8)agate, and an (9)amethyst. EX 39:13 And the fourth row, a (10)beryl, an (11)onyx, and a (12)jasper: they were inclosed in ouches of gold in their inclosings. EX 39:14  And the stones were according to the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names, like the engravings of a signet, every one with his name, according to the twelve tribes.

 

Now, in the breast Plate that Lucifer wore were missing three stones, which was exactly the third row in the High Priests Breast Plate. (Remember, three is perfection.) The three that were missing were the third row altogether. The 7th, 8th and 9th stones were missing. Therefore if we examine these three stones we can see what nature is missing and what was different about Lucifer's breastplate than the one Michael wore. For Michael was Christ as brother Branham stated earlier in this study,  and Michael and Lucifer led in the Worship of God in the very beginning, and they were Twins.

 

The 7th stone was known as the  ligure or jacinth  was amber in color and it was a stone for engraving seals and difficult to polish. Without the ligure there would be no seals.

 

The 8th stone was an agate. It was a precious and agate means flame or blood stone, because the agate has slashes of white and red streamers running through it, and is known as a bloodstone.

 

The 9th stone was an Amethyst meaning "not drunken". It is Purple in color. Theophrastus said it Resembled red wine in color. An ancient claim said one who drank wine from a cup made of amethyst would not get drunk. A pale violet or deep purple. it was Thought to quicken the intelligence of the owner, or more biblically, it represents "the Stimulation of Revelation".

 

So we see the other nine stones were in both breast plates worn by the two who led in worship. You can find the meanings behind these stones in a sermon online I preached on the stones of the breast plate in the Who is the Melchisedec series back in 2001.

 

Ezekiel 28:12 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum,  full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. 13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the (1) sardius (2)topaz, and the (3)diamond, the (4)beryl, the (5)onyx, and the (6)jasper, the (7)sapphire, the (8)emerald, and the (9)carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. 14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. 15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou was created, till iniquity was found in thee.

 

Now, let's stop for a moment and break down the attributes of this created being.

 

Thou sealest up the sum… meaning to affix a seal. Brother Branham said the seal could not be placed until the item was full. Therefore he filled up the sum. So what is this sum that he filled up? This word SUM is from a Hebrew word "tokniyth" and is pronounced "To'-ken", and it means  the pattern. So we see this one filled up the pattern. In other words, he was so much like the pattern he filled it up, and he was anointed too.

 

And it says he was full of wisdom which means fullness…. Wisdom coming from the Hebrew word chokmah pronounced hok-mah, and means, wisdom in administration, and comes from the root word chakam pronounced hawk-ham and it means to teach wisdom. So we see he was a leader in the administration and a teacher in the worship of God.

 

Marriage And Divorce 65-0221M   17-5  Did you know Satan was coequal with God one day? Sure was, all but a creator; he was everything, stood at the right hand of God in the heavens, a great leading cherubim.

 

God's Servant Job 55-0223   E-12 As soon as Satan... You know the old argument is: why couldn't God have by-passed all this, and not had any of it? But God putting Satan almost coequal with Him, Satan taking the things of God and perverted them into the evil thoughts, and through there began to pervert things into evil instead of good. And God, as soon as the first thing was done, out of His great treasure chest of love, He had a plan of redemption, that quick.

 

Let Your Light so Shine Before Men 61-0903  Do you know what caused the first battle in heaven, was when Lucifer set up a greater class of people, got a better class of angels, he thought, big a bigger kingdom, a more brighter, shinier kingdom than Michael had. And he was kicked out of heaven. See where class comes from? Stay away from class. The hungry don't want class; the hungry wants food. Yes, sir.

 

So we see that the first Light that come forth was the Son of God and then we find the Cherubim's were created to guard the altar of God. And Lucifer was the anointed Cherub. He was anointed for a ministry of the word and he blew it.

 

Continuing in Ezekiel 28:17  Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness:  Notice it was his brightness that corrupted his wisdom. This word brightness is the Hebrew word, yiph'ah {yif-aw'} meaning;  splendour, brightness, shining and comes from the root word yapha which is the same word which describes the Shekinah Presence.

 

Now, let's look at the next attribute, it says he was perfect in beauty = perfect kaw-leel and means entire or whole, complete,

 

Only One Way Provided By God V-21 N-2 63-0731 56 I'll say something here, maybe I oughtn't to say, but yet I believe I ought to say it. If you noticed, Lucifer is exactly doing the same thing today that he did at the beginning. See? Lucifer, at the beginning, wanted to build himself a kingdom which was greater and more beautiful than Michael's Kingdom, Christ. He want... That was his ambitions to achieve something like that. And what did he get to do it by? He took fallen angels who had lost their first estate. He took that to do it with. And today Lucifer has got into the church, and taken away the Word, and injected denominations, and he's building a church, the ecumenical move that's going on now, to unite all the Protestants together, and altogether come into Catholic. And this pope they got in now, to do the same thing, exactly what the Scripture said it would do. And what's he doing it by? He's doing it by men of those great ecumenical moves, who does not know God; and the many of them in the Pentecostals, 'cause they're doing the same. What is it? He's doing it with fallen angels, fallen Lutherans, fallen Methodists, fallen Pentecostals, that lost their original estate from the Word of God, and going right back in to make a great big ecumenical move. Fallen messengers, messengers who once stayed with the Word, but sold out their birthrights and joined in with the world... The same thing, it's at the last day. And Lucifer is achieving today by men with those spirits in them, that he did with angels at the beginning, fallen angels who kept not their first estate to obey God. And he's doing the same thing today.

 

Rev Chapter 4 Pt 3 Throne Mercy 61-0108  298 Guarding this gate... Cain and Abel come up here to worship. So it must've been an altar that they guard (Is that right?), these Cherubims.

 

Now, to this point I believe we can establish that Lucifer was a co-partner leading in the worship of God.  He taught, He was a teacher. He knows the Word of God, but where he went off was when he added his own thoughts to what God said.  He was perfect in all his ways until iniquity was found in him. He perverted the Word, He twisted it for his own self interest. He was not satisfied with being a good steward of the Word of God and he wanted a bigger kingdom than Michael (Christ) had.

 

Notice, Paul calls him an angel of Light in 2 Corinthians 11.

 

II Corinthians 11:13  For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

 

And when Satan came to Jesus, what did he come with? The Word of God, only twisted. He came to eve in the Garden as a indwelling spirit in the serpent and what did he come to Eve with? The Word of God, only twisted. He is always that way. It is His nature.

 

Luke 10:17And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. 18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

 

Psalms 80:1To the chief Musician upon Shoshannimeduth, A Psalm of Asaph. Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; thou that dwellest between the cherubims, shine forth.

 

So we see that he shown forth as a light. And since the Son of God was that first light, we can see how that Lucifer, who also was a light, and was made to fill the pattern, and was the same in every derail except without Eternal Life or God life, for he was a created being, and being that he had a beginning he will surely have an end.

 

And so we see the great falling away begin in the heaven's when Lucifer, now referred to as Satan, was cast out and when he left 1/3 of the host of heaven was cast out with him. Then he came down to the earth to continue the war against the Sons of God.

 

Revelations 12:7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

 

Now, we find him in the earth back in the garden of Eden as one of the two trees which God placed but did not plant in the garden.

 

98-2 Ephesian Church Age Book CPT 3 Some have an idea that the two trees in the garden were just two more trees like unto the rest of those that God had placed there. But careful students know that this is not so. When John the Baptist cried that the axe was laid to the root of all trees, he was not talking of simply natural trees, but of spiritual principles. Now in I John 5:11 it says, "And this is the Record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son." Jesus said in John 5:40, "And ye will not come to Me, that ye might have life." Thus the record, God's Word, states plainly and clearly that Life, Eternal Life, is in the Son. It is no other place. I John 5:12, "He that hath the Son hath Life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath Not Life." Now since the record cannot change, be taken from or added thereunto, then the record stands that The Life is in the Son... Since this is so, The tree in the garden of Eden has to be  Jesus.

 

98-3 Ephesian Church Age Book CPT 3 All right. If the Tree of Life is a person, then the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil is a person also. It can't be otherwise. Thus the Righteous One and the Wicked One stood side by side there in the midst of the Garden of Eden. Ezekiel 28:13a "Thou (Satan) hast been in Eden, the garden of God."

 

85-2 Ephesian Church Age Book CPT 3 Did you get it now? There are those twins again. There are those two trees again, growing side by side in the same earth, partaking of the same nourishment, drinking in the same rain, and benefiting by the same sun. But they come from DIFFERENT seeds. One tree is FOR the Word of God, exactly as God gave it, and loves and obeys it. The other tree is from the seed that is anti the Word of God and changes it where it wants to. It substitutes its own creeds and dogmas for the living true Word exactly as did Cain, who ended up killing Abel. But fear not little flock. Stay with the Word. Keep that Word between you and the devil. Eve did not do that and she failed. And when the church lets down on the Word she goes into the depths of the darkness of Satan.

 

97-5 Ephesian Church Age Book CPT 3 Now in the Garden of Eden there were two trees standing in the midst of it. One was the Tree Of Life, the other was the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Man was to live by the Tree Of Life; but he was not to touch the other tree or he would die. But man did partake of the other tree, and when he did, death entered into him by his sin, and he became separated from God.

97-3 Ephesian Church Age Book CPT 3 "The Tree Of Life." Isn't that a beautiful figure of speech? It is mentioned three times in the Book of Genesis and three times in the Book of Revelation. In all six places it is the same tree and symbolizes exactly the same thing. 97-4 Ephesian Church Age Book CPT 3 But what is the Tree Of Life? Well, first of all we would have to know what the tree itself stands for. In Numbers 24:6, as Balaam described Israel, he said they were "trees of lign aloes which the Lord hath planted." Trees throughout the Scriptures refer to persons, as in Psalms 1. Thus the Tree Of Life must be the Person of Life, and that is Jesus.

 

98-1 Ephesian Church Age Book CPT 3 Now that Tree back there in Eden, that Tree which was the source of life, was Jesus. In John, chapters six through eight, Jesus sets Himself forth as the source of eternal life. He called Himself the Bread from heaven. He spoke of giving Himself and that if a man ate of Him he would never die. He proclaimed that He knew Abraham, and that before Abraham, He WAS. He prophesied that He Himself would give them living waters that if man drank he would never thirst again, but would live eternally. He showed Himself as the GREAT I AM. He is the Bread Of Life, the Well Of Life, the Eternal One, the TREE OF LIFE. He was back there in Eden in the midst of the garden even as He will be in the midst of the paradise of God.

 

98-4 Ephesian Church Age Book CPT 3 Here is where we receive the true revelation of the 'Serpent's seed.' Here is what really happened in the Garden of Eden. The Word says that Eve was beguiled by the serpent. She was actually seduced by the serpent. It says in Genesis 3:1, "Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made." This beast was so close to a human being (and yet was pure animal) that he could reason and talk. He was an upright creature and was somewhat in between a chimpanzee and a man, but closer to a man. He was so close to being human that his seed could, and did mingle with that of the woman and cause her to conceive. When this happened, God cursed the serpent. He changed every bone in the serpent's body so that he had to crawl like a snake. Science can try all it wants to, and it won't find the missing link. God saw to that. Man is smart and he can see an association of man with animal and he tries to prove it out of evolution. There isn't any evolution. But man and animal did mingle. That's one of the mysteries of God that has remained hidden, but here it is revealed. It happened right back there in the midst of Eden when Eve turned away from Life to accept Death.

 

99-1 Ephesian Church Age Book CPT 3 Notice what God said to them in the garden. Genesis 3:15, "And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her Seed, It shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise His heel." If we give credit to the Word that the woman did have a Seed, then the serpent must have surely had a seed also.

 

I think  we could go on and on with this but I believe you all understand. Tonight we are looking at the source of the other Life. we saw Sunday the Source of God Life which came down from the Father into the eldest son and into sons. This evening we look at the source of life in the other Twins, from Lucifer through the serpent into men.
