Christ is the Mystery no 218

Review no 41 Twins no 18

Placing of Twins

Brian Kocourek, pastor

This evening I have a message that I feel in my heart is very important for us if we are to not only have the correct understanding of twins, but also if we are to handle that understanding in a Christ Like manner.

I do not wish for one second that we as Christians should take the attitude that if a person is a carnal believer, we should despise and reject them, as I see happening all over the world. The best way to handle the carnal believer is to try to win that person to Christ.

I know the Scriptures says in Titus 3:10 "A man that is an heretick (that means he is schismatic, factious, a follower of a false doctrine )after the first and second admonition (which means mildly rebuking or warning) reject;", but that word "reject" was translated from the Greek word    "paraiteomai" and it  does not mean to treat them ugly. It means to simply just let them alone.  "to turn away or aside or  avoid them". In other words, if you know they are into some false doctrine, after you've tried to warn them a couple times and it got nowhere with them, then drop it, and just let them go their own way. Don't keep trying to convert them to the truth because that will only further harden them against the truth.

Brother Branham said in his sermon, Church choosing law for grace 61-0316 P:55 Remember, He said, "Now, as you journey, you're going up there along the borderliners. Now," said, "don't you touch Esau." Now, Esau's Mount Seir. Said, "Don't you touch him." Said, "I give him that. If you go by, if you eat anything, pay him for it. If you drink any water, pay it for him. Don't touch the borderline believer, because I'll not bless you in it." See? "Don't beat him any more; just pass by quietly." Now, if the Methodists and Baptists live up there at the borderline... Every revival ever come forth produced twins. I don't care where it was at, it produces twins. One of them... It's just like Esau and Jacob. They were both represented in them sons of Isaac. Esau was a man of the world. He was a religious man, cared for things, and done things for his father, and was a nice man. But Jacob had discernment. He knew that birthright meant everything, didn't make any difference how he had to get it, just so he got it. That's the spiritual man today.

So you see there are some things we need to not only know but do if we are fully appreciate what the doctrine of Twins is teaching us. And that means that just because a man might be the other twin, which means he might be the carnal believer, that doesn't make him your enemy.

Thirsting for life 57-0728 P:74 So therefore, if you will read Romans 8 and 9, you'll find out that He told... He said, "I hate Esau and love Jacob, before either boy was ever born from his mother's womb." Correctly, for He's God. He knows all things. So how can you make an unbeliever a believer when God knew in the beginning he was an unbeliever? It wasn't meant for him. He said, "Pharaoh, I've raised him up for this very same purpose to work in works. It's not him that willeth, him that runneth; it's God that showeth mercy." Is that right? Certainly.

Now, if it wasn't meant for him, then that doesn't make him an evil man just because he might not understand it.

You see, the study of Twins is not the study of one who is elect of God and the other who is serpent seed. Twins is the study showing that one is spiritual, spirit filled, while the other is carnal, and not spirit filled. The foolish virgin fit into that category, so be careful how you handle this.

Hear recognize act on word 60-0221 P:34 The church settles down. See, it cannot go on. Esau was a very good type of the carnal believer today, never able to overcome the world. He don't overcome the things of the world. They still like their carousing, their dancing, their manicure make-ups, and, the women, on their faces, and cutting their hair and wearing little old short clothes; and men likes to go out to the poolrooms, and smoke cigarettes, and tell little dirty jokes; and still belong to the church. They're never able to overcome those things: neither could Esau. But yet, to be religious, he had to settle down to an intellectual conception. That's the same thing the church does today. "We'll become an organization. We'll put ourself together. We'll make a clan, or a clique, or something like that." And that's the way the church moves today, the spiritual and the carnal, still the same. It hasn't changed and never will change.

So, these are not serpent seed. These are not the ones who hate and try to kill their brother, that was Cain. He was Serpent seed. Esau was just a carnal man, good in many ways, but had no revelation concerning the birthright. These are just carnal people who still love the Lord Jesus, they still want to be saved, but they just do not have the Holy Ghost. That doesn't make them evil, that just means they need the Holy Ghost if they are to overcome.

I have always believed that "the attitude we take towards anyone could determine their eternal destination."  I get that from many places in scripture where the Bride says, "The Spirit and the bride say come, and whosoever will let them come and drink".

The bride is willing to help anyone to come and drink. She is there to feed those who hunger and thirst after righteousness. So there have to be those who are needy.

After all the Jesus Himself taught us in Matthew 5:7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy." and to be merciful, means to be full of mercy. And notice those who show mercy to others will have mercy shown back to them. They shall

And that is the way God is, for we are taught in James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

And I think that is what we all want anyway, is to be conformed to that image.

Impersonation of Christianity 57-0120M 15 Our heavenly Father, today it's with grateful hearts, as we quietly and reverently approach this sacred moment, How do we know but what this very hour, may determine the eternal destination of a soul setting present? And the value of that soul is compared with many thousands of worlds. So we pray, Father, that You will let us approach reverently, solemnly, and in the attitude of prayer. And also, there may be sick people setting present, who this day, and their attitude that they receive through this Word, may determine how much longer they stay on the earth. So we realize the solemnity of this very moment, and we ask that Your great Presence will anoint us all.

Hear recognize act on word 60-0221 P:15 "Jacob" means "supplanter" or "deceiver." But after finding and coming into possession of the birthright, he was changed. That's the carnal, changed. He was then called, Jacob, "a prince with the Lord," who's wrestled with Him. The carnal believer today, "Oh, as long as I go to church and do what's right, what difference does it make?" That's Esau's group. He still makes fun and despises the birthright. He doesn't care for it. But Jacob loved it. And the spiritual man today and spiritual woman, that's elected, predestinated of God to come to Eternal Life, if they have to sell everything they got, if they have to take their name off of every church book in the nation, they still want that birthright. It's the only thing that matters to them: just get that birthright, that's all. No matter how, and what level they have to come on, if they have to get down at the altar and cry, boo-hoo, if they have to run through the places, and go back, and make things right, and sell what they got, or give away everything they have and become a pilgrim and a stranger, it doesn't matter; they want the birthright. That's all they're interested in: the birthright. Now, don't blame them people. They can't help it. They were predestinated to that, elected to it.

Hear recognize act on word 60-0221 P:14 Now, if you notice, Jacob had one thing that he wanted, because according to the Word, the blessings and the--the good things laid in the birthright. And Jacob, that was his only objective, the only thing he had in mind was get that birthright. And Esau despised it. The one that actually had it, despised it, or he was ashamed of it. But Jacob wanted it regardless of how he got it, he wanted it. That's the way with the spiritual believer today. He doesn't care how much you laugh at him, how much fun you make, how ridiculous he has to act to the carnal mind, his only objective is the birthright. He wants to get to God, 'cause it's born in him. He can't help it.

And he's not talking about evil people here, people who try to destroy others, he's talking about good people, but they just have no Holy Ghost and thus no revelation of the way and hour they live.

Presence of God unrecognized 64-0618 P:44 Same as it is today. People will take the real Gospel, where the Holy Ghost is coming in, and the power and glory of God releasing sinners from sin and making them free, and baptize them in the Holy Ghost, and healing the sick, and showing signs and wonders, and people will walk away, say, "Aw. Now, you know what my church believes? That's nonsense." See, you are forfeiting; you are selling your birthrights. Another Esau. So many get the same opportunity today, to stand in His Presence as they did then. And still, because of popular opinion, they turn It down, standing in the Presence of God. I wonder, friend, tonight, if we people who are Christians, in His Presence, and are sick, if we don't turn down the opportunity to be healed by just believing Him? We who claim to believe Him, don't recognize really His Presence, what He promised to do today.

Discernment of Spirit 60-0308  1 We are here this morning, Father, gathered for no other purpose but to know and to study to know, rather, the will of God and what we must do to make Christ real to the people of this generation. Knowing surely that in the day of the judgment we will be brought face to face with this generation. And, being ministers, we will be judges. And the people to which we have spoken to, and their attitude towards the Word that we bring them, will determine their eternal destination. Therefore, Lord, in that day we would be a judge for or against the generation that we preached to.

So if there attitude towards the word we bring them they will be judged for, how much more will we be judged if we bring the Word with a wrong attitude. Therefore we had better make sure our attitude is right in the way we present the Gospel or we may be responsible for loosing souls rather than winning them.

Hebrews Chapter 7 part 1 57-0915E P:86 Your attitude towards Christ will make a great impression on what your children will be. Your life that you live before your family will make an impression on what your children will be. 'Cause the Bible said that He'd visit the iniquity of the parents upon the children to the third and fourth generation.

In other words, you get in those chat rooms and really blast away? What do you think your children are witnessing? "Train them up in the way they go and when they get ole they will not depart."  So are we training up a bunch of misfits that will hate everyone who doesn't believe like us? or are we training them to be Christ-Like who gave himself even for those who were yet in their sin.

Jehovah Jireh 57-0612 P:72 It's your attitude; it's the way you approach God. The woman who touched His garment, she approached Him with reverence. She got her healing, but the soldier (Listen.) who put a rag around His face, and took a stick, and hit Him on the head with it, and said, "Now, you who is a prophet, and prophesies, tell us who hit you; we'll believe you." God doesn't do things that way. They didn't feel any virtue. It's your approach. Martha approached Jesus, said, "Lord, if You'd have been here, my brother had not died. But even now, whatever You ask God, God will give it to You." She approached it right. If you come criticizing, doubting, you'll never receive nothing.  But you remember me as your brother; that I'm not saying this is me. If I did, I'd be a liar. It's not me. It's God. And He's only here to love you and prove to you, that your religion of Christianity is right.

When divine love is projected 57-0126E P:19 Then when you become a son or a daughter of God, your disposition changes; your attitude changes; your all, your look towards life and towards others changes. It doesn't mean that you just have joined church; it means that you have been regenerated. You have become a new creation in Christ Jesus, that you have... The old things have passed away, and God has spoken to you, and you have become a new creature. I want this to go way down even into church members. Then as you would love to be in the Presence of Christ, and you become a part of Christ, then people love to become in your presence, because you become a part of God, son and daughter of God. Did you ever see people that you just love to be in their presence? There's just something about them that just radiates, that you just love to talk to them. And other people who are nice people (yet we don't say this unkindly), but you just can't hardly stay around them. It is because of the atmosphere that you create. For you as a son of God are a miniature creator, because you are a part of God. And that's the reason you can believe the Bible for anything It says, for the Word is God's Word. You being a part of God, will agree with the Word.

Sir would we see Jesus 54-1205 P:2 Our kind, heavenly Father, with grateful hearts full of assurance that Thou hearest the prayers of Your children. We come approaching tonight, knowing that Thou art the same yesterday, today, and forever, and that Your lovely ways and Your attitude towards the people of the days when You were here in flesh is the same tonight, for You are the same. And I pray that You'll manifest Your love to these tonight, to the sinner, to the backslider, and to the ungodly, and unto the sick, and the needy, the crippled, the afflicted, the blind, the halt. And may this be a night, Father, that when we close the services to walk away, may we say like those who came from Emmaus, "Did our hearts burn within us because of His Presence." God, we pray that You'll take us tonight, like You did at Emmaus. Now, Father, You're all love and You love Your children everywhere.

So when we look at Twins, let us be very careful not to allow feelings of  ill will towards others who do not see things like you see them. We have seen quote after quote where brother Branham showed us that they just were not ordained to it, so let it go. Twins doesn't speak of God's elect and serpent seed. It speaks of Spiritual believers vs carnal ones.

In the Church Age book we actually find that there are actually four kinds of people.

Church Age Book  Chapter 7 - The Sardisean Church Age P:84 The question now arises, why are these righteous ones in the judgment? There is no other place that they can come up, for there are but two resurrections and since they could not qualify for the first resurrection they must come up in the second which is a resurrection unto judgment. The ones who qualify for the first resurrection (the bride) are not in the judgment. John 5:24, "Verily, verily I say unto you, He that heareth My Word, and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath everlasting life (that is, the believer is already the recipient of eternal life which he has in his possession now) and shall not come into condemnation (shall not come into the judgment, is what it really says) but is passed (permanently) from death unto life." But notice carefully, Jesus must have yet another group in mind who at a certain resurrection will receive eternal life. They will receive it at the resurrection, NOT HAVING PREVIOUSLY RECEIVED IT AS A MEMBER OF THE BRIDE.

John 5:28-29, "Marvel not at this, for the hour is coming, in the which ALL that are in the graves shall hear His voice, and shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life, and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation." Now we all know that John 5:28-29 is NOT THE RAPTURE for only the dead in Christ will arise from the graves at that time along with the living bride who still is on the earth. I Thessalonians 4:16-17, "For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." But it says in John 5:28-29 that ALL are going to come forth from the grave. This is the very same resurrection that is spoken of in Revelation 20:11-15 wherein THE DEAD were brought before the Lord and judged according to their works, and all whose names were not in the Book of Life were then cast into the lake of fire.

85 We now face the question as to why they should be given eternal life at the judgment since the Epistles seem to conclusively point out that one must possess the Spirit of Christ or perish. Though it seems thus, we must not discredit the words of Jesus Who most pointedly sets forth that there are some found in the Book of Life who will either receive eternal life before the general resurrection or after it. Paul does not evade this truth for he most clearly says in Philippians 3:11, "If by any means I might attain to the resurrection of the dead." Now this statement is most peculiar. We all know that we are ALL going to be in a resurrection whether we want to be or not. All will be resurrected. So Paul could hardly be saying, "If by ANY MEANS I might attain to a resurrection of the dead." The truth of the matter is, he is not saying that. The literal reading is, "If by any means I might attain to the `out-resurrection' from among the dead." This is not the attaining to the general or second resurrection, but attaining to the first resurrection, of which is said, "Blessed and Holy is he who hath part in the first resurrection, on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ and shall reign with Him a thousand years." The first resurrection has nothing to do with the second death. That is at the end of the thousand years when ALL THE REST of the dead live again. And in that day there will be those who come forth to eternal life and those others who are caught in the second death. Now we do not need to guess about those who in the second resurrection are given life. We are told it is given to them on the grounds that they have been kind and good to the "Brethren". Those who are raised and cast into the lake of fire will be so treated because of their mistreatment of the "Brethren". Since this is the Word of God we simply accept it. There is no argument here, just a simple statement of fact.

86 To further clarify, notice specifically the words of Matthew 25:31-46. It does not say that a shepherd is literally separating sheep from goats, but it is AS a shepherd dividing sheep from goats. These are not sheep in this particular area of time (White Throne Judgment). The sheep are in His fold, they heard His voice (Word) and they followed Him. THEY ALREADY HAVE ETERNAL LIFE AND CANNOT COME INTO THE JUDGMENT. But these do NOT have eternal life, and they are in the judgment. They are allowed to GO INTO eternal life. But upon what grounds do they enter into life eternal? Certainly not upon the fact that they already have His life as does the bride, but they receive it because they were kind to His brethren. They are not His brethren: that would make them joint-heirs with Jesus. They are NOT heirs to anything but life. They share no throne, etc. with Him. THEIR NAMES MUST HAVE BEEN IN THE BOOK OF LIFE AND NOT REMOVED. Now because of their love of the people of God they are recognized and saved. No doubt these served and helped the children of God. Perhaps like Nicodemus and Gamaliel they stood for the children in a time of trouble.

87   If this seems to smack of "restoration," watch carefully now, for the wicked are NOT restored, but turned into the lake of fire. The names of many of those destroyed were in the Book of Life also; but they were blotted out because they failed to honor the people of God who were the living manifested Word (living epistles) for their day.

88   Now let us be very clear here. These are not nations being judged and going into the millennium because they have harbored and helped the Jews. That is very clear because of the conclusion of these verses. "And these (the wicked) shall go away into everlasting punishment (lake of fire), but the righteous into everlasting life." There is no record of TWO judgments set where the wicked are cast into the lake of fire. Only the beast and false prophet are judged at the end of the great tribulation. No, this is the White Throne judgment, and they are judged according to what is written in the books.

89   It is the second resurrection that the "souls under the altar" as set forth in the fifth seal (Revelation 6:9-11) are given white robes, and of course eternal life, or there would be no point of white robes. "And when He had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the Word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost Thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow-servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled." Now note particularly that none of these under the altar were killed for the testimony to Jesus. They were not like Antipas who was slain for holding fast His Name. These are not born again ones, with eternal life as their possession. They come up in the resurrection and receive life because of their stand on the Word. And notice how these are crying out for vengeance. They cannot be bride material. The bride turns the cheek and cries, "Forgive them, Father, they know not what they do." These are Jews. They have to be because they are in the fifth seal, and it is in the fourth seal that the Gentile bride is gone in the rapture. So these Jews aren't born of His Spirit. They don't even believe that Jesus is the Messiah. But as they were blinded by God for the Gentile's sake, God gave them eternal life on the grounds that though they could not come to Him, yet they were truly faithful to all the Word they knew, and died for it as multitudes died under Hitler, Stalin, etc., and will yet die.

90   It is the second resurrection wherein the five foolish virgins come up. Notice that they were virgins. They did not have the Holy Spirit so they missed being in the bride, while the five wise who had oil became a part of that bride. But these people, being a separated, God-loving people, and trying to abide in the Word, according to what they knew of it, and being a help in the work of the Lord will come up at the end of time. They will miss the millennium, which you can begin to see by these truths is much more important and wonderful than we have ever thought or believed.

91   All these people had their names in the Book of Life and their names remained. But whose names did not remain? Those of the world system churches who fought the bride will be those whose names are removed. That is who will lose out. They will be cast into the lake of fire.

92   Now let us go another step, but before we do let us review our case thus far. First of all we know most assuredly that the purpose of God stands in election. It was purposed in Himself. It was God's purpose to bring forth a people like unto Himself that would be a Word Bride. She was chosen before the foundation of the world IN HIM. She was fore-known and beloved before she was ever brought forth during the ages upon the earth. She was redeemed by His blood and can NEVER come into condemnation. She can never be in the judgment because sin cannot be imputed unto her. Romans 4:8, "Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin." But indeed she shall be with Him in His throne of judgment, judging the world and even angels. Her name (each of her members) was written in a section of the Lamb's Book of Life before the foundation of the world.

Secondly, there is another class. Their names are also in the Book of Life and they will come up in the second resurrection. Such are the foolish virgins and the righteous as are spoken of in Matthew 25. In this class also are those who do not worship the beast or become involved in the antichrist system but die for their faith even though they are not in the bride, not having been born again. But they will come up in the second resurrection and go into eternal life.

Thirdly, there are the borderline Christians such as we saw in Israel coming out of Egypt. These had their names in the Book of Life and their works written in the books. These having failed to obey God and being void of the Spirit, though even the signs and wonders were amongst them, will have their names removed from the Book of Life. Amongst this group will be the ones like Judas who though entirely void of the Spirit, but are religious, will have manifestation in their lives, and though on the books were not the elected IN HIM. Such also as Balaam will be in that group.

Fourth and finally are the ones whose names have never been or will ever be written on the books. Such are found in Revelation 13:8 and Revelation 17:8, "And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. The beast that thou sawest was, and is not: and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is." Jesus said that a certain group would accept one who came in his own name. That one is the antichrist. And that is exactly what it says of them in Revelation 13:8, and 17:8. These were ordained of God but not unto election. And with this group is such that are as Pharaoh. It says of him, "Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up. Vessels of wrath fitted for destruction." Romans 9:17 and 22. None of these would be placed on the records of life. I am not saying that there is no record of them. No doubt there is some kind of a record of them, but NOT IN THE RECORDS OF LIFE. Their purpose of existence has been dealt with slightly in the rest of this book but we can add two more Scriptures. Proverbs 16:4, "The Lord hath made the wicked for the day of evil." Job 21:30, "The wicked is reserved to the day of destruction, they shall be brought forth to the day of wrath."

93   Since this portion of the Word is hard for the human mind to grasp, it must be accepted and believed by faith. Some will be offended by what I have set forth because they fail to understand the sovereignty of God which sets forth that GOD IS GOD, and because He is God one cannot defeat His counsels or thwart His will and purpose; but He, being omnipotent, is ruling in ALL affairs and is doing whatever He will with all His creation because all were created for His good pleasure. Therefore, as Paul says, "If God should take of one lump of clay and make of that same lump one vessel unto honor and another vessel unto dishonor, who can be offended and cry against Him?" That He has the right to do this on the grounds of creation alone, we cannot deny. Yet He went even further, for according to Romans 14:7-9, we have the irrefutable proof that Jesus paid the purchase price of the whole world, and therefore He can do as He wills with His own. "For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. For to this end Christ both died and rose, and revived, that He might be Lord BOTH OF THE DEAD AND LIVING." (Ownership; NOT relationship is meant here.) This is also set forth in John 17:2, "As Thou hast given Him power OVER ALL FLESH, that He should give eternal life to as many as Thou hast given Him."

Let us pray...
