purpose part 6
Glorified in His saints

Therefore, if any Trinitarian here would just let yourself loose a minute, you
can see that Father, Son, and Holy Ghost is not three gods; It's three
attributes of the same God. See? It's
expression. Father, He wanted to be a Father. He was a Father; He was a
Son; and He is the Holy Ghost. And the Father and the Holy Ghost is the same
Spirit. Don't you see? You get it? Not three gods, the Devil's told you them
things to make an idolater out of you. See? It's one God expressed in three
attributes: to be Father, to be Saviour, to be Son, to be Healer (See?) is His
expression.
87
I want to coast just a little bit so that even people listening to the tape
will get the idea, that can see. It would take me
around, and around that clock, just each one of those subjects. But I hope I'm
making it clear enough that you can see what I'm coming to. See? God, expressed in Jesus Christ, Who was both Father, Son, and Holy
Ghost, the Fullness of the godhead bodily. Now, the complete Fullness of the godhead bodily dwells in His Church,
the preeminences. All that
God was, He poured into Christ; all
Christ was is poured into the Church, the believer, not denomination. We'll
get to that in a few minutes, and it'll take it out of your mind forever. See?
Show you what causes that by the help of God, if He'll just permit it to us.
88
What's His purpose now? Express Himself
as a Son (See?), and now, that in
Him might dwell the Fullness of the godhead bodily. I've got Colossians laying here, right before me. See? That...
All through the Scripture that's what God's purpose was. Then it through this Life of this Son, His
cross (the Blood, it says here, of His cross), that He might reconcile to Himself a Body, a Bride (which is Eve, second
Eve); and God give it in a type like He did Moses and all them (the same thing
He did in Adam and Eve, giving a type), that they were Christ and the Bride (He
is the second Adam; the Church is the second Eve); and as long as the second
Eve compromises against the Word, isn't she doing the same thing the first Eve
did? Trying to say it... "Well, it
was for some other age." And we'll get to that in a few minutes,
whether He said that it was for another age. How can it be another age when He
is the same yesterday, today, and forever? But God has purposed that and hid it from the eyes of the prudent and wise
and revealed it to the predestinated babes, who were predestinated to receive
it.
Notice brother Branham said
here that it is “through this Life of this Son, … that He
might reconcile to Himself a Body, a Bride. Now, up to this
point he has been talking in terms of God receiving preeminence in His Bride.
In other words, she has come to the place where she is so dead to herself that
it is not longer she, But He that is manifesting Life through her body.
Notice we had read earlier where brother Branham said,
Now, that's when He can express the preeminences.
You see? He's got the man or the person
so that he knows nothing but Christ. You get what I mean? All right. That's secondly. First, to express Hisself completely: God in Christ. Second, to have the preeminences by this in His Church (which is His Body,
Bride) to... He could have the
preeminence to express Himself through them.
And in
paragraph 82 brother Branham said, “And the other night...
If you didn't get the tape that I preached here one night on "A Prisoner of Jesus Christ--Paul, a Prisoner..." See? When God gets you to be His prisoner, then
you can't do nothing but what the Spirit says do.”
And in pp 79 he said, “Secondly: to have the preeminence in His body of
believers, that is, His Bride, that
He might live in people.”
And in pp. 71…Brother Branham said, “He should be the principal Theme of our talking, of our
thinking, of our singing, of our walks; He should be the principal Theme of our
life. If He's the
principal Theme of the Bible, and the Bible is in us, then He should be the
principal Theme of everything that we do, say, or think, should be Christ.
Is that right? All right.”
Now from brother Branham’s sermon “The Spoken Word is the original Seed” he
said in paragraph 96 When God and His Word becomes one (Hallelujah.) that's when
God's Spirit waters the Seed of God, the
Word of God, It produces God; and it's not the individual; it's God. For “you are dead”; you're not
yourself no more. You reckon yourself dead, hollowed out, waiting for the Seed
germ. Paul Said in, 2 Timothy 2:11-12 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall
also live with him If we suffer, we shall also reign
with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
So suffering and death are essential components of God
molding and shaping us into the very image of His beloved first born son. Now, brother Branham continues in paragraph 96…saying, “Then what is it? It isn't you no more; isn't the man; it's God IN the man. It's a Seed germ like the
beginning spoken Word. God's Word made manifest IN the man; then it isn't the
man; it's the man that's died.”
So you see this preeminence in the Bride is when she
comes to the place where she reconciles herself to be dead to her own desires,
but alive to the will of God and that alone.
Now, in picking up at paragraph 89 of
Christ is
the Mystery brother Branham says, “That's
the reason... Watch down through the age.
Whenever that Light hits some, they turn it away and flashed it away, and great
intellectuals and them great priest standing there... There was rabbis
from... great teachers in authority like
different ones like Nicodemus and them, men polished
in scholarship, and he couldn't even understand it. And there was those great priests stood out there, and rabbis who were
taught in that Word. My, they knew it
intellectually. And He said, "You are
of your father, the devil, and his works
you'll do." Think of it. Holy men, you couldn't put your finger
nowhere on their life, or their father's life, or their grandfather's life,
or their great, great, great, great, great-grandfather's life. If they did,
they died in shame; they stoned to death. But here stands Jesus calling that group a bunch of devils: religious
people.”
90 “Now. Oh, the great revelation now... Now, to restore back
His kinship. To bring back... Now, He had to let them get lost; you
understand it? He had to let them sin, put them on free moral agency. He could
not make them sin and remain God and then punish them for something He made
them do. But when He put man on
partnership with Him, then let man act as a free moral agent... See? The same thing that He's got you on today. See, see? You act any way you want to; you're a free
moral agent. So therefore, if He put
the first like that, He has to put the second like that, He has to put everyone like that, or He
acted wrong in the first place. See? But
everybody is on that same basis.”
Now, what is Brother Branham saying here? He’s saying
that if God left you to yourself, after giving you a free moral agency, you would
most certainly die. Because there is a way that seems right unto man, but the end
therefore are the ways of death. Proverbs 16 : 25
And we all know that man will always choose the way
that seems right to himself unless he’s insane. But
Notice that brother Branham said God put you on partnership with him. “But when He put man
on partnership with Him, then let man act as a free moral agent”.
Now, this means when God baptizes him with the Holy
Ghost, because when Speaking of our being partakers of the Holy Ghost as we see
in Hebrews 6:4 For it is impossible
for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and
were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,” The Greek word for partaker is metechos which
means associate, companion or partner.
So that means he has given you a companion, which is
the Holy Ghost. And once you are partnered with God by receiving the God-Life,
which is the Holy Life, the Holy Ghost Life, then he can put you on free moral
agency and you will make the right choices, because it is God in you working to
Will and to do.
Hebrews 12:10
For they verily for a few days
chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be
partakers (associates, companions or partners) of his holiness.
Hebrews 3:14
For we are made partakers (associates,
companions or partners) of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
Hebrews 3:1
Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers (associates,
companions or partners) of the heavenly calling, consider
the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;
We see another Greek
word koinonos which also means the same thing in the
following Scriptures.
2 Peter 1:4
Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises:
that by these ye might be partakers in the divine
nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
1 Peter 5:1
The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a
witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker (associates,
companions or partners) of the glory that shall be revealed:
1 Peter 4:13
But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers (associates,
companions or partners)of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be
revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
2
Corinthians 1:7 And our hope of you is stedfast,
knowing, that as ye are partakers (associates, companions or partners)of the sufferings, so
shall ye be also of the consolation.
In other words, God tried free moral agency with Eve
and she failed. He tried free moral agency with the Jews and they failed. He
tried free moral agency down through the church ages and they all Failed. But now, he has at this end-time came down in the
form of the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation in the knowledge of Himself and He
has given you the same spirit that He gave His Son that you might receive the very
same mind that was in Christ and thus you now think as God thinks. Then in this
condition, under a free moral agency, you can do whatever you would like to do,
but all you want to do is please your Father because this is the hour that He
ordained before the foundations of the world to be glorified in His saints.
2 Thessalonians 1:10 When he shall come to be glorified in his
saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among
you was believed) in that day. 11 Wherefore also we pray
always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work
of faith with power: 12 That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified
in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus
Christ.
He has come to be glorified in His saints. His Doxa in
His saints, His Opinion, His Judgment, His Assessment, His Word, His Thoughts -
in His Saints.
Israel at the Red Sea 35-64 53-032628 God has already glorified His church. Those who He
justified, He also glorified in the church, in Christ. If you're justified in
Christ, you're glorified in Christ already, as far as God is concerned. Jesus
said, "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father in heaven is
perfect." How could you ever be perfect? But in the sight of Christ
tonight, every born-again Christian is perfect. I'm just as perfect in God as
Christ was. You are too--every other believer. For it's not my holiness, it's
His holiness. God can't accept mine; I have none. But I come in Christ, by
faith. And by Christ I'm in Him, and perfect in the sight of God.
That is why Paul again
speaks of this condition of Holiness that we shall possess at the Parousia of
Christ.
1 Thessalonians
3:13 " to the end that He may
establish your hearts unblameable in holiness before
God" That's in His very Presence, Then he says, "even our Father,
what identification and when does Paul tell us this will happen? "At
the parousia of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints."
Let us pray…
