The Attributes of a Son of God no 6

March 20, 2013

Brian Kocourek

Genesis 1:11  And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.  12  And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Sunday morning we spoke on the Seventh attribute of a son of God: And that is They have Eternal Life which is God's very own -Life, and thus according to the law of Life as spoken of in Genesis 1:11 they must express the very nature of God, because that is the Law of the Spirit of Life that Paul spoke of and as we see in Genesis 1:11. As brother Branham said Sheep bear wool because it is their nature to bear wool.

From his Message God of this evil age 65-0801M P:36 brother Branham said,  For as the germ of natural life is brought down, germitized from father, to father, to father, to father, so is the Life of Christ germitized. That's the reason God uses Elijah's spirit five different times. What is it? It's a handing down. Just as your natural life and traits is handed down from the natural breeding of your father, so is the Spirit of God that was predestinated before the foundation of the world. And when the entire Word of God in complete was headed up in a human body called Jesus Christ, in there God made me pay for my sins in Him there. Then He raised me up with Him in the resurrection. And now we are seated with Him with power and authority over every devil. Oh, if you could only believe what God has given. But if you're not seated there, you don't have it. And if you're seated there, and don't believe, and are afraid to move, you'll never use it. But if you are seated there, you will use it, for you're ordained to do what you do. Pharaoh, on the other side, was raised up for this purpose, the Bible said, to be Pharaoh. Judas Iscariot was raised up to be the son of perdition.

So what we are looking at here is seed life whether in God seed of Serpent seed. Both have seed life, and both will do in the off-spring what was done in the original seed.

Therefore, brother Branham said in his sermon, Jehovah Jireh part 2 62-0706 P:49 Live so, that if God would want to use you, He knows right where to come get you. You're in a position, living a life clean before God; your words are honest; your life is true. That's the kind of a place that Angels come. Look at Elisabeth and Zechariah (See?), an honest upright, walking in all the commandments of the Lord. That's the way we want to live, so when God gets ready to use us, He say, "This is My people. I can do with this church what I want to. They believe Me. They stand on My Word." See, that's the way you want to do; live the life.

Now, that is what we want in our lives so that God would not hesitate to do His works in and through us. Always remember, it is God working in you to will and to do. But if your life is not fit for Him to come in then do not expect either that he would do any works using your body.

Now, tonight I am going to take a low key sermon on the Life of Christ in the Individual verses the life of Satan in the unbeliever. So we will just go ahead and read for the next few minutes quotes from this sermon, "Christ is the Mystery of God Revealed" and I want you to notice how many times brother Branham references that "if you are born again you will live the same Life Jesus lived".

Because you see Eternal Life has one source and that is God, and if it is by one Spirit we are baptized into one body, then as we brought out last Sunday there only is one body of Christ and Jesus Christ is the head of that one body. And if we are the body, then since the head directs the body, our life will compare with his Life.

In Christ is the mystery 63-0728 P:65 Now, here He says, "Search the Scriptures; they testify of Me. In them you think you have Eternal Life (and that's true), and they are the one that bear record of Me, and I'm bearing record of them. And if I do not the works that's promised that I would do, then don't hear Me. But if I do the works and you can't believe Me, believe the works," because they testify that He is the Word. Oh, it looks like it couldn't be any plainer. See?

So let's get off our high horses and come down to simplicity. He says if My Life bears record that God is living my life for me then believe me what I have to say. But if my life doesn't project the life of Christ living in me, then you don't have to believe what I say. Now, that is a fair assessment isn't it.

If a man claims to be a Christian, then his life should be reflecting Christ, and if his life doesn't reflect Christ then why should I believe his testimony that he is a Christian. I don't think we could say it any planer.

And so we find in paragraph 68 of Christ is the mystery 63-0728 P:68  brother Branham saying, "St. John 14:12, He said, "He (he, anybody)--he that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also. And he told us the he is anybody." "Well, you  say that was for another age." There you got your picture wrong again. You got a man fishing out in the desert for fish in a bunch of hot sand where there's no fish at. See? See, you got to bring him back to where he's fishing at Galilee, where there's plenty of fish. You see? See, you got to make the picture look right. It's God's great picture, and there's only one way you'll see it, that when you see Jesus Christ. There's the entire Bible. He's the principal theme of the Bible.

Notice, when you see Jesus Christ and that's the key. Not nail scars or beard, but the same life Living itself out in anybody's body of flesh. So it's life, not vessel we look at.

From paragraph 136 of Christ is the mystery 63-0728 P:136  Brother Branham said, "They said, "We received the Holy Ghost when we believed." The Bible said, "Have you received the Holy Ghost since you believed?" There's the difference. See? That's right. See? And they say, "We're the Catholic church. We started early; we did this." The Methodist say, "We are based upon the Bible." Jesus said, "These signs shall follow them that believe." Now, where's it at? Uh-huh, see, right. "The works that I do shall you do also," every creature, every person that believes in Him. Now, where's it at? That's His Words. "Heavens and earths will pass away, but My Word shall never fail." Now, where's it at? See?

And so we are faced with a question from this vindicated man of God. It's supposed to be there, so where is it at? And if it isn't there then why not?  There's something wrong somewhere. And listen, we are not just talking about miracles when we speak of John 14:12, we are talking about the very life and actions and thinking of the son of God in us. So where is it at?  I believe wrong teaching has produced a people who are looking for nothing, and thus we see nothing. You get what you preach for, and when we do not preach in a way that shows the people what God expects we come to think he expects nothing, and thus we sow nothing and reap nothing. Notice what their negative confession did to the children of God in the wilderness journey.

And so we find Br. Branham say in paragraph 138 of Christ is the mystery 63-0728 P:138 Just like all them other spies did that went over and looked at Canaan. They come over there and said, "Oh, we look like grasshoppers the side of them. We can't take them. The Amalekites, and all these--what they're going to do." And they went back. And Caleb and Joshua, being thoroughbreds (Amen!) by the Word of God, knowed God said, "I give you that land." They said, "We're more than able to take it." It depends on where you're born from. If you're born of the Word of God, God's Word has the preeminence in His Church. That's what He died for. That's His purpose, that He might be able to achieve to have His preeminence working in His Church. Let the Word of God shine forth first, no matter what anything else looks like. I don't care if the intellectuals says this, that. That has nothing to do with it. God's Word said so, and we're more than able to take it." If I preached that in my church," a minister told me, said, "I'd be preaching to four posts in the church." I said, "I'd preach to that." That's right. God's Word said so. We can do it. God said do it. Amen.

So I can show you where Jesus said, "the works that I do shall you do also," now you show me where he said any different than that.

Now, William Branham vindicated prophet of God said in his sermon,  The Spoken Word is the Original Seed 62-0318E P:144 Now, the body carries on the works and does the works that the Head commands it to do. Tell me where He ever said, "organize." Tell me where the Head says it's all right for woman to cut their hair. Huh. Mention it; it's not there. Tell me where the Head ever said, "These works I do, but you shall not do them." Tell me that. But the Head said this (if you want to put the Scripture down, I'll give it to you: John 14:12), "The works that I do, shall you also." That's His body. See? See now, why I have been so zealous of the kind of seed that I have planted for the body? The rain's going to fall pretty soon; I mean the real rain. And it's got to have Seed to fall on. I hope I live to see it. Do you understand now? It will be the living Word as it was at the beginning, the spoken Word of God, have His power; for it is in Him in His own body, working His own way. Look to the promises that God gave this body.

So we have these promises that God gave to His body and these promises are to be manifested in this end time, so where are they at?  And don't say when the hand does it the body does it, there is no Scripture for that.

1 Corinthians 12:4  Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5  And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.  6  And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.

Now, this does not sound like one member of the body does the work and the rest just sit around idle. There is One God who is working to do ALL  in ALL. Not working to do all thing in one member of the body.

7  But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. 8  For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; 9  To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; 10  To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: 11  But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.

So the only one that is doing all in all is God. We can not say when the hand does it the body does it. Because the body is not just a hand. But it is the same God who works in the hand and in the feet and in the eyes, and in the ears etc.

12  For as the body is one, and yet it hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. In other words the body is one, but made up of many members.

13  For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. So as the same blood flows into every member of the body energizing the body so too the Holy Spirit works in every member of the body energizing the body of Christ as a whole.

Now, listen carefully to what Paul says in this next verse. 14  For the body is not one member, but many. So do not tell me that when the hand does it the body does it. The body is not made up of only one member. The Body is more than a hand. Sure the hand is part of the body and in that understanding when it does what it does, it is attributed to the body, but that is not what Paul is teaching us here. He says no one member is the entire body. The body is made up of a many member bride.

Therefore he says in verse 15  If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? Now, listen to his rationale here. 16  And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? 17  If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?

Well in the same light how about if we say, If the whole body were to say I am not the hand, therefore i am not of the body. And see where that kind of thinking takes you. YOu say, the hand does it, the rest of the body sits idle.

Now, what are those works of Christ in John 14:12 anyway?  Well, most of brother Branham's quotes when referring to the works in John 14:12 he refers to the very life that was in Christ. The nature, the attributes of Christ Life. And so if you teach that the hand had the life then the rest of the body doesn't need to have that life, you have cut off the hand from the rest of the body and have exalted it to the status of the entire body, and that is the danger we face today.

18  But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him. 19  And if they were all one member, where were the body?  If the whole body were just the hand, then what kind of body would you have. To say that when the hand does it the body does it is bypassing what Paul is teaching us here. What that teaches is that the only Life is in the hand and the rest of the body is a corpse, and is dead and has a right to be dead because there is a hand attached to the body that has life in it and it will do everything for the body.

Brother Branham was so opposed to that kind of thinking. He wanted all to live the life to the place that God would not hesitate to use any member of the body to manifest himself through. Now, what I am saying here doesn't minimize what the hand did? Or shall we say, this in no way minimizes the great sacrifice and life that William Branham expressed, but what kind of presentation of a bride would he have if He alone lived the live, and was used by God to express God-Life to this generation.

20  But now are they many members, yet but one body. 21  And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you. 22  Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:

Now, listen, with theology that says "if the hand does it the rest of the body does it" is saying the opposite of what Paul is teaching us here. He says in essence the hand can not say because you are not the hand you are not in it? But that is what is being taught? They teach that the only member of the body that was necessary to reflect God-life or manifest the works of God is the hand. The rest of the body is lifeless and non essential. And that has deflated the life and with it the responsibility that the body has and taken that responsibility away from the rest of the body, and thus has in effect taken the very Life of Christ out of the rest of the body as well. And placed the life and responsibility of reflecting Christ to only the hand.

Now, here is where I believe the Apostle Paul was coming from in this. He is telling us that each member in the body of Christ has a certain function in the body. The eye sees, the mouth speaks the hands pick thing up the feet transport the body in conjunction with the legs, etc.

And then in the next few paragraphs he helps us with this understanding.  To see is not expected of the feet or ears. To speak is not expected of the feet and legs. Therefore, not every member of the body will do things that other members do. There is only one Prophet who sees because he is a seer.  Therefore certain works that Christ did will only be done by certain members of the body, but are attributed to the body as a whole, but that does not take away from the rest of the body. Brother Branham explains this in Questions and Answers August 30, 1964.

1964) Questions and answers COD 64-0830M P:167 373. And will every true believer do the works that Jesus said, as stated in St. John 14:12 (Not exactly. No.): heal the sick, cast out devils, raise the dead (I don't think that's in St. John 14, but it's all right. It's Mark 16.), or is this only to be Elijah? Must the believer do all this that really believe? And if he really is a real believer, will he raise the dead and do great miracles? Now, that is among the believers. See? Every man doesn't have those gifts, and that don't mean that just one person will do it; there'll be groups of people. Like for instance, what if we had a little girl here in the church, or a little boy, or somebody that we love real well, and life would go out of them. The whole church would get together, and they'd go to pray and fasting: "Lord, have mercy on that child." See? God could raise it up. How many ever read the Nicene Fathers and them? You know, that's the way they did it in the early church. They'd all get together, you know, and even raise up their pastor sometime and different ones like that, if God seen fit to do it; but they did it.

Now, notice he said the whole body will not do some of those works but neither does John 14:12 speak of just one person. Now, I believe tonight the Lord is honing our understanding, because we have those who believe John 14:12 is one member of the body only, and some who might misunderstand and think every member of the body will do those things. But he says, the body does all of them, the body, the group of believers called the body of Christ.

Now, it is true brother Branham had all nine gifts of the spirit, but that doesn't make him a hand and a foot and an eye and a mouth and ears and legs and feet and arms and neck. He is a member of the body, period. But yet God did bless him with an abundance of gifts that are usually distributed throughout the body severely as they will. Now, listen to what Paul says next.

23  And those members of the body, which we think to be less honorable, upon these we bestow more abundant honor; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.  24  For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honor to that part which lacked:25  That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.

Now notice Paul said this division of works among the body of Christ should not bring any schism. And a schism is a split or a division. So why do we have a division over this.

It has nothing to do with our salvation, but schism come when men place the words of men over the words of a vindicated prophet.

What I see concerning John 14:12 is there are some works that only William Branham did, but for the most part there are many works that the body of Christ does. Knowing which is which is not important, but what is important is not limiting a sovereign God. When we make statements limiting Scripture to only one person without other Scripture or any empirical historical evidence we are causing a fuss because of pride and not because of truth.

We have a vindicated prophet that told us that God interprets his own word by bringing it to pass. We have had many men of God through the seven church ages who have done the works of Christ. There is not one thing God did in the ministry of William Branham that He did not do in other ministries throughout the ages. He just did more of them.

But when it comes to creation, we know the squirrels and eye balls but we know also according to br. Vayles own testimony that God created ear drums where there were no eardrums in Br. Bosworths ministry. So you say, ok, greater works means more of the same. And that is true, no fuss there. But Brother Bosworth had 225,000 letters recoding 225,000 healings in his ministry. O, I know brother Branham had many times that number, but more is more as brother Vayle said a five pound bucket ad ten pound bucket are both greater than a one pound bucket. So what's the argument over.

There shouldn't be one. They say well, what about discernment,. Seems to me quite a few prophets in the old testament had visions and discernment. Look at Samuel, he told the men where they had lost their horse, and Elijah knowing what went on in the Kings chamber.  So let's just call the body of Christ His Body because he is the head and he does it all anyway. And so how should the Body work together? Paul says,

26  And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honored, all the members rejoice with it. 27  Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular. 28  And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.  29  Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?  30  Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret? 31  But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.

And then he goes on to show us a more excellent way, and he devotes the next thought to Love. For without Love being our motivation for all we do, we do in vain.

And that takes us to P:177 Christ is the mystery 63-0728 Watch. What was Jesus manifested for? To show God. He was God; He had to be. No man could die. No prophet could die. He was God. He was the God of the prophets. He was the prophets. He was the kings. He was the history. He was He that was to come: He that was, He that is, and He that's to be in this day, the same yesterday, today, and forever. He was manifested for that purpose. And through that purpose He achieved a Church, that He, the Fullness of God might bring to pass every promised Word of God in these last days when He gets the preeminence, preeminence in the Church, the position, His place in the Church. Jesus said, "He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he also, even more than this shall he do, for I go to My Father." See? That was His purpose. There was the manifestation.

And so this is the main reason for covering John 14:12 so much. Because it is learning to die to self, and let Christ have the preeminence in our lives. Then, as we read from brother Branham when God looks at his vessels ready for service He knows where you are when He wishes to call upon you and you are ready.

Christ is the mystery 63-0728 P:179 Now, it's easy to go back and pick up what these other fellows has left off here in the last days, and by His Holy Spirit reveal all the mystery of the Seven Seals. See? He's expressing Himself. That's His purpose. That's why He died. That's the second fold of His threefold manifestation. First, to express Himself in Christ and then He expressed Himself through the Church, and the same thing, Christ was the Word. And the church becomes the Word when it lets the Word go through them. But when they accept the hybrid denomination, how can the Word go through it? It's grounded; then it causes a short and blows a fuse. See? But when the current is flowing freely, the Word of God, It expresses Itself. "The works that I do shall you do also." And in the last days it shall come to pass, "Behold I send to you Elijah, the prophet, and he shall turn the hearts of the children back to the faith of the fathers."

Christ is the mystery 63-0728 P:194 Notice, God manifested Himself in His Body, Christ. Now, you see the threefold beautiful thing? Christ in His Body, the Church, vindicating His promised Word like God did through Christ. "Who can condemn Me of sin? If I do not the works of the Father, then where have I, where have I failed? Now, you fellows say that you're doing it, you denominations, now, now, show Me. Yeah, show Me where I failed to be the Messiah. Show where I failed on one sign that God said the Messiah would do, that I haven't fulfilled it," He said (See?), God in His Body.

Christ is the mystery 63-0728 P:195 Now, Christ... "The works that I do shall you do also" See, see, the same God. See? "The works that I do shall you do also, more than this, for I go unto My Father." The Church will be a little longer in Life (See?) vindicating His promised Word as God did His promises in Christ's Body, so is Christ doing His same works in Christ's Body, the Church. See? Now, making His mystery known to His Bride Tree here in the last day, bringing forth the fruits that was in the Tree at the beginning.

Christ is the mystery 63-0728 P:212 Notice, notice. And the "Father that sent Me" went with Him. The Father that sends--the Jesus that sends us goes in... "A little while and the world won't see Me no more, yet ye shall see Me, for I (personal pronoun, 'I 'the Person, Jesus) will be with you, even in you to the end of the world. The works that I do shall you do also." Now, go back and see what He done; then see what you do, and then compare yourself.

Christ is the mystery 63-0728 P:219 The very same God (that creative Life--you see?) that's in you can... You're a prisoner; you can't speak it till He says, "Speak it;" but when it gets spoke, it's God's Word. He's a-vindicated to be so; everything else is right, and he knows when that's spoke it's got to be so. See? Moses took his rod and said, "Let there come frogs" 'cause God said, "Let there come frogs." He just transmit it on out. That's right. And frogs was in everything; everywhere was frogs. Where'd they come from? Nobody knows; they wasn't there before. But the Creator, God working through a man created things--a living species. The very God that made the first frog can make the second frog. He makes all frogs. Oh, my. You see what I mean? Made the first squirrel, makes the second squirrel, make any squirrel, can make squirrels where there is no squirrel. He can do anything He wants to. He's God. He's God. His Life... Oh, my.

Christ is the mystery 63-0728 P:251 And--in the Christian age there was one God which appeared in a form of a Pillar of Fire to a prophet called Paul, who was sent to the Gentiles to take a people out for His Name's sake. Is that right? And in the last days has come down in like manner a-vindicating Himself (See?) in the same signs, same wonder, same Pillar of Fire, same Gospel, same Word, same manifestation... His Body will do the works that He promised, like in Mark 16 and so forth.

Christ is the mystery 63-0728 P:259 Now, listen close. Fallen angels, what kind of angels? Luther, Wesley, Catholic, Pentecostal who kept not their first estate like the angels did and has fell into organizations like Lucifer's main hold at Nicaea... And what have they done? Organized a great ecumenical association of ministers to make an image unto the beast, as the Bible said, and building a Christian economy that'll close the doors of this church and others like it. See Lucifer at his work? I'm trying to bring you the threefold revelation or mystery of God. What did they do? sold out to reasonings of wisdom and education like Eve did, fallen angels did.

Christ is the mystery 63-0728 P:273 Now, we see the promise being fulfilled. Christ, the true Headship going in--coming in His Bride, doing the same works that He did at the beginning, and making ready, and fulfilling His Word as He did at first in John 14:12: "He that believeth on Me the works that I do shall he do also." Then the Head and the Body are becoming one in works and in sign and in Life, vindicated by God Himself through His promised Word for the last days. He promised this in the last days. Now, if you're spiritual, you'll catch it.

We would see Jesus 57-0226 P:21 But now, while He's here working with His Church in the form of the Spirit... Then if His Spirit is with us, He will act just exactly like He act when He was here on earth. It'll make you act the same way, because it's not your spirit any more; it's His Spirit in you, Christ's Spirit in you. "The things that I do... He that believeth on Me (Saint John 14:12.), the works that I do, shall ye do also." See? We'll do the same works, think the same thoughts, live the same type of life. If the Spirit of God is in you, it makes you live like Christ, Christ-like. Then you become a written epistle, read of all men, Christ in you, reflecting His Light out of you, as God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, and reflecting God from His own body. No man has seen God at any time, but the only begotten of the Father has declared Him. God was in Christ. And what Christ's attitude was, was God's attitude, 'cause the two work together, the Spirit and flesh united together.

He that is in you 63-1110E P:99 But He that is in you is Christ. And if Christ is in you, the works of Christ you'll do, if Christ lives in you. He said so, St. John 14:12, "He that believeth in Me, the works that I do shall he do also." If you was in Christ, or if Christ lived in you... Then Christ is the Word. Is that right? And the Word come to His prophets. See? And if Christ lived in you, the works of Christ would be done through you, the Life of Christ would be lived through you. The works He did, the life He lived, and everything, it would live in you, just like if Shakespeare, Beethoven, or whoever it was, lived in you. If His Life... But if you still living your own life, then your own works you'll do. See? But if you're living the Life of Christ, if Christ is in you, "He that's in you is greater than he that's in the world." If your doubts and flusterations about God's promise is in you, then Christ isn't there. See, you're only worked up. But if the Life... If Christ is living in you, His Word He will recognize and His promise He'll do. See? He'll do.

Sir we would see Jesus 63-1112 P:18 Now, according to the Scriptures, we are supposed to be written epistles of Him. The Bible says that we are written epistles. And if, tonight, we would hunger and thirst to see the Lord Jesus Christ, we as Christian believers should reflect His Life, so much, till it would be His entire representative. We should be that. Every Christian should be represent and reflect the Life of Jesus Christ. Do you believe that? And I believe that every Christian should be reflecting the Life of Christ. He said in Saint John 14:12, "He that believeth on Me, the works I do shall he do also." And then we know that that's true, that we are His representatives. And if we claim that Christ lives in us, and if Christ lives in us, then we should do as Christ did. We should reflect His Life.

Anointed ones at end time 65-0725M P:36 Now, "He that abideth in Me, he that, him that was in My Root at the beginning..." That's the reason Jesus was both the Root and Offspring of David. He was before David, in David, and after David, both Root and Offspring of David, the Morning Star, the Rose of Sharon, and the Lily of the Valley, Alpha and Omega, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. In Him dwells the Fullness of the Godhead bodily, both Root and Offspring of David. "He that is the elected Life, the predestinated Life that's in Me (and He is the Word from the beginning), when he comes forth he will bear My fruits." St. John 14:12. But others will live by the same thing, call themselves Christians and believers. Not all that saith, "Lord, Lord," will enter in.Now, this is to take place and be manifested in the last days when the mysteries of God should be finished (as we'll get to a little later).

God's provided place of worship 65-0425 P:75 Jesus said in Saint John 14:12, "He that believeth, while he is in Me..." No wonder people say the days of miracles is passed, no wonder they say these things. "He that believeth in Me (not believe on Me, but believe in Me), the works that I do shall he do also." Why? It's His Life. It's His dynamics in His mechanics that's in you that fires it off, makes it go and do the works that it promised do. Or, my life in Him, has quickened me by His Spirit, to make His Word, which is the Mechanics, work by His Dynamics. Hebrews 13:8, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever."

Jehovah Jireh part 2 62-0706 P:13 Now, how that the perfection, the perfect Sacrifice, perfect... God perfected in human life what He was going to do. We know we have... Oh, we had God the Father, which was the Almighty Jehovah. Then that was in a Pillar of Light took Israel through the wilderness. And that same Jehovah become flesh and dwelt among us in the form of His only begotten Son, created a Tabernacle for His Own self to dwell in: God manifested in flesh. The Fullness of the Godhead bodily dwelt in Him, the perfect manifestation. Then through the covenant, the human part of Him was taken away, severed, that He might (this covenant) separate the Body that died, the Blood that was shed for the remission of sins, and raised it up and set it on His right hand, and sent the Spirit back on the day of Pentecost. And that same Life that was lived in Christ Jesus has to be lived in the covenant people, same Life doing the same thing. Jesus said in John 14:12, "He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he also." Now, that's either right or wrong. It's got to be right. To me, every Word of It is right. Every Word is perfectly right. Notice how glorious God works.

Harvest time 64-1212 P:70 See, that don't reflect the Word of God, when a seminary student tells you, "The Holy Ghost is not for today. And these things, all that Divine healing stuff for some other day." See, it's not a reflection from God; it's a reflection from a creed. It's a reflecting from a doctrine that's outside the Bible. Hebrews 13:8 said He's the same yesterday, today, and forever. Saint John 14:12, said, "He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall He do also." Now, how you going to take that Word out of there? How you going to add something in Its place? You break your chain of Life. Man lives by Bread only, the Bread, eternally he lives by that Bread. Physically, he lives by this bread. There's the two breads. The Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit is in you, says "amen" to every Word of God, if that is the Holy Ghost. Now, I want to ask you something. Now, this is a pinching part.

Perseverance 63-0113E P:64 God's going to judge the world by a church? Which one? Catholic? Six hundred and sixty-five different denominations? How's He going to do that? God's going to judge the world by Jesus Christ. And Christ... "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh and dwelled among us." God and the Word is the same. This is God on print. You've the--if you got the Holy Spirit? Plant that seed in there. It brings it to life, breaks that life forth, and manifests and vindicates it. Jesus said in St. John 12, "He that believeth on Me (St. John 14:12, rather), the works that I do shall he do also." So it always admits to the Truth. Oh, my.

Questions and answers COD 59-1223 P:64 Now, the law of sin and death works in your flesh, but the law of the Spirit of Life works in your heart. So your heart, your spirit in your heart will make your body obey what it says do. That's exactly right. Now, that's what Paul said. Always the flesh, ...

The Seventh attribute of Serpent Seed which is that: Their life is only temporary, earthly, sensual And I would like to contrast this godless life to the God-Life which is full of Love and joy and all the fruits of the Spirit.

John 8:37 I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.  38  I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father. 39  They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham. 40  But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham. 41  Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God. 42  Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. 43  Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. 44  Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. 45  And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

Again in paragraph Christ is the mystery 63-0728 P:89 brother Branham said, "Watch down through the age. Whenever that Light hits some, they turn it away and flashed it away, and great intellectuals and them great priest standing there... There was rabbis from... great teachers in authority like different ones like Nicodemus and them, men polished in scholarship, and he couldn't even understand it. And there was those great priests stood out there, and rabbis who were taught in that Word. My, they knowed it intellectually. And He said, "You are of your father, the devil, and his works you'll do." Think of it. Holy men, you couldn't put your finger nowhere on their life, or their father's life, or their grandfather's life, or their great, great, great, great, great-grandfather's life. If they did, they died in shame; they stoned to death. But here stands Jesus calling that group a bunch of devils: religious people.

It wasn't so from the beginning 61-0411 P:29 So what we got to fear about? The thing of it is... You say, "Well, we'll just live loose." That shows your name isn't on the Book. That's exactly right. That proves that you wasn't when you try to live any kind of life and that you want to live. That's shows you haven't got it. If you're a real Christian, you'll live the real life, because the Life in Christ is in you and you can do nothing else but live the Life of Christ....

Isaiah 40:7-8  The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the LORD bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass. 8  The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.

Why 60-0309 P:10 And your life, today, will reflect in your children. You must remember that.

Questions and answers COD 54-0103M P:32 Now, notice then when they were captured and carried away into Babylon because they tried to impersonate the nations of the world... What a beautiful picture today of the church trying to impersonate the world out yonder, and carried away, carried away with their--their living. The church lives just the same as the world does, carries on, acts just like it, and everything else, and claiming to be the church. You can't do that. No, sir. Your very life proves what you are. What you are... As I said in the beginning, what you are somewhere else is what you reflect here. What you are, what your celestial or terrestrial body is up yonder, what your celestial body is somewhere else is what you're reflecting back here. In the spirit land, what you are, is what you are here. If you're still vulgar minded and so forth in the spirit land, you're vulgar minded here. If you still got malice, envy, and strife, you're in the spirit land with that, it reflects back here. But if your whole innermost being has become cleansed and purged, it shows that you've got a body out yonder waiting, that's been cleansed and purged, and it's reacting back in the flesh. Don't you see? See, there it is. "If this earthly tabernacle be dissolved, we have one already waiting." See?

Paul a prisoner of Christ 63-0717 P:26 Always, don't judge your life by how much power you have to perform miracles, and we don't judge ourself by how much knowledge you have of the Word, but always judge yourself... Look back and take an inventory of what kind of a fruit that the life you presently live now is bearing. See? As I preached sometime ago at a Business Men's meeting in Phoenix, Arizona, of the reflection of Jesus--reflecting Christian Life.I said that I was borned in Kentucky where it's very primitive, especially back when I was a kid. And this certain little boy never had a home like we have here, where we had so many pretty ladies that have to look through mirrors all through the house to keep their hair just in place and so forth. But he had one little mirror, just a little piece tacked on a tree on the outside, where the wash bench was, where his mother and father washed and combed their hair, and so forth, from this little piece of old mirror tacked on a tree.

Rising of the sun 65-0418M P:31 Now, the very essence of the Message that was sent that, "He is risen from the dead," we, His beneficiaries, we, who share the resurrection with Him, draw benefits from this by proving to the world that He is alive. We cannot do it by word only; we cannot do it by some tradition of man; we only reflect exactly what we're pointing to.I'm afraid today that too many of us are not getting people to Christ. We're getting them to a church, to a theory, but we must get them to Christ. He is the only One, and the only One that has Life. "He that has the Son, has Life." And if the life of a man that's dead be projected in you, you will live the same life he lived. If the blood of a man was a certain type, and you took the blood from one man and changed the blood of the one man into another, he'd absolutely be that typed blood. And if your spirit that's in you is reckoned dead, and you are anointed with the Life that was in Christ is upon you... Romans 8:11 says, "If the Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in you, It'll also quickens your mortal bodies," that same Life, them same powers, them same beneficiaries that He had here on earth from God. He redeemed you, a seed that was foreknown by God, whose names was put on the Lamb's Book of Life before the foundation of the world. And that Gospel Light of the resurrection, the confirmation of the Word... How did we know He was the Christ? Because He proved what He talked about. How will I know the Message of the hour? God proves what He promised and He talks about it.

Shalom 64-0112 P:6 Now, I might take another name, and say my name is some other name. I might take my mother's name: Harvey, which would be the closest to me. In the world my mother was a Harvey, and then I might take the name of Harvey. But still the blood would prove that I am a Branham. See? Because I'm part of my father. And as long as I got blood in me, I'll still be part of my father. See, that's right. And when I'm born of the Spirit of God, I am a part of God; that's all. I am identified with Him (See?), that He is My Father. Then my life should reflect Him, as my life reflects my earthly father in the image that he was in. They say I look a whole lot like my father, so then therefore, it's His image reflected in me. And your--your father reflected in you, and your parents. And so, God our Father is reflected in us when we're born and--and conformed here to His image.

1Peter 1:23-25 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. 24  For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:  25  But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

James 1:11 For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withereth the grass, and the flower thereof falleth, and the grace of the fashion of it perisheth: so also shall the rich man fade away in his ways.

Jude1:12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;

Isaiah1:28-31And the destruction of the transgressors and of the sinners shall be together, and they that forsake the LORD shall be consumed.  29  For they shall be ashamed of the oaks which ye have desired, and ye shall be confounded for the gardens that ye have chosen. 30  For ye shall be as an oak whose leaf fadeth, and as a garden that hath no water. 31  And the strong shall be as tow, and the maker of it as a spark, and they shall both burn together, and none shall quench them.

Isaiah 24:1-6  Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof.  2  And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him.  3  The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken this word. 4  The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish.  5  The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. 6  Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.

Isaiah 29:14  Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.

Is your life worthy 63-0630E P:134 That's the reason God corrects us; He loves us. May we live a life from henceforth that's worthy, with sweetness and gentleness. Don't pay no attention, say... "Well, bless God, I know she's got it; she spoke in tongues; she danced in the Spirit." That's all right, but if she doesn't have the fruit of the Spirit, the Spirit isn't there. She's only impersonating some kind of an emotion or something, 'cause the Holy Spirit can only live the life of the fruit of the Spirit; that's the only way He can do.

Explaining healing and Jairus 54-0216 P:37 The devil's just trying to scare you out of something. He's trying to put something off somewhere else, say, "Some of these days you'll be this." You are now. Now, we're sons of God. Now, we're seated together in heavenly places. Now, we have all powers in heavens and the earth. See? Now, we have it. Not in the millennium, we won't need it then. We got it now. We're... Right now we are the sons of God. "It does not appear what we shall be, but we know we'll be like Him."What you are here is a reflection of what you are somewhere else. "Those who He called, He justifies." Is that right? "Those who He justified, He has glorified." Already in the Presence of the Father, we have a glorified body. Whew! Wasn't that deep? All right. We'll find out whether it's right or not. "If this earthly tabernacle be dissolved, we have one already waiting." Is that right? That's right. So right now, and what we are there, is a reflection. Here, what we are here, is a reflection of what we are somewhere else. So if your deeds are evil, you know where it comes from. You know where your other body's a waiting.
