The Attributes of a Son of God no 9
Projecting Christ
March 31, 2013

The Ninth attribute of a son of God: They will project Christ
Before we go
to the Word of God let us bow our hearts first in a Word of Prayer.
Now, this
morning let us read for our text this Easter Morning, from the book of Colossians 3:1 If
you are risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is sitting
on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection on those
things above, not on the things of the earth. 3 For
you have died to yourself, dead as a door nail, and that life is now hidden
with Christ in God. 4 For when Christ, who is our
life, when He shall manifest or express Himself in His true identity, then you will
also manifest in your true identity, the real you, because it is God who is
working in YOu to will and to do. It if God-Life
manifesting in and through you, projecting that God-Life to the world. And it
is through His glory, His doxa, His values, His opinons, expressing themselves from you that Christ will be
manifest in His true identity, that he is a many membered Body. And it is this God-life in you
manifesting His values and opinions. 5 Therefore, for
this to happen, kill off each of those thoughts from the you who has died, that
part of you that used to be focused on the things of this earth; those thoughts
which led to fornication, those thoughts which led to impure thoughts, those
thoughts led to affections which are extreme, evil thoughts, evils lusting for
more and more, in fact covetousness which is a lusting for that which you can
not have, and this in itself is idolatry:
You may be seated.
Now, we have read for our text this
morning from the book of Colossians Paul's Word of encouragement concerning our
new birth in Christ and His Life, the same God-Life that lived itself out in
Him, now living itself out in you, taking over our minds as it took over his.
And notice Paul is talking about appearing which was translated from the Greek word "Phaneroo" which means "to manifest in ones true
character".
So this scripture speaks of the
manifestation of the Life which is the manifestation of the character and
characteristics of the same Life that manifested itself in Christ and is now
manifesting itself in you. And that is why theology or doctrine alone will
never do it. Because theology is man's attempt to explain a Bible truth, but
this is more than mere doctrine, this is more than mere man's attempt to
explain it. This is the very Life of The Source of Life which is
living itself or expressing itself to the world through your vessel. And mere
words and mere teaching, mere doctrine can never give
you this. It takes a quickening of this Life in order to be able to express
this life.
John tells us in 1 John 1:1 That which
was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen
with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled,
of The Word of life; Notice John is telling us this is not some mental
understanding, because all our senses have come into contact with this Life.
2 For the life was manifested, (that means this Life he is talking about has openly
expressed itself in a way that our senses have been able to apprehend it.) and we have seen it, (that
means we have been able to experience this Life in an open and manifested way) and (having received this Life in this form, we
also are able to) bear witness to it,(we
are able to talk about this Life that we have witnessed for ourselves) and show unto you that same eternal life, which
was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)
In other words not only have we seen it,
but because we believed what we saw and heard, we have received it and thus we
now possess this Life that was with the Father and was manifested in the body of
His Son Jesus Christ.
3 That
which we have seen and heard declare we unto you,
that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
So John
tells us that which he was a partaker of, that which he heard, saw and
received, that same God-Life He was now going to declare which means he is
going to utilize words to bring forth what he heard and saw. And in doing so,
it will catch the believer and bring with this same Word, the same Life that
gave that Word, and this Life will quicken the believer to the Life that is
within the Word. And this quickening will bring the hearer to life, so that he
too can hear and see, and thus project this same God-Life that was in the Son
of God.
4 And these things write we unto you, that
your joy may be full.
So we see the importance of hearing,
recognizing and then acting upon the Word of Life. For that is what it is.
Doctrine is not the Life, but doctrine is simply the teaching about it, but it
is not the life itself. That is the difference of reading a good story and
living it. Or as brother Branham said, don't preach me a sermon, live me one.
In 2 Peter 1:2-4 we
hear Peter tell us the same thing.
1:2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through
the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
Now, let's not skip right through this,
but let's think about what we just read. He said, that
grace and peace are multiplied to us how? Through the knowledge of God, and Jesus
Christ our Lord.
Perhaps I can put it this way to you.
Many people know
what it is like to be in a place where they have been abused by power hungry
leadership which do not reach out to help them in time of need, but rather seem
to be there only when they need your money. But when you are down they do not
reach down to help you up, but rather they use there stick (whatever that stick
may be) to keep you down.
Like God said to Jeremiah 12:10 Many pastors
have destroyed my vineyard, they have trodden my portion under foot, they have
made my pleasant portion a desolate wilderness. 11 They have made it
desolate, and being desolate it mourneth unto me; the whole land is made desolate, because
no man layeth it to
heart.
Jeremiah 23:1 Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and
scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith
the LORD. 2 Therefore thus saith
the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have
scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I
will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith
the LORD. 3 And
I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have
driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be
fruitful and increase. 4 And I will set up shepherds
over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed,
neither shall they be lacking, saith the LORD.
Jeremiah 10:21
For the pastors are become brutish, and have
not sought the LORD: therefore they shall not prosper, and all their flocks
shall be scattered.
Jeremiah 3:15
And I will give you pastors according to mine own
heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.
And so the Apostle Peter tells us here in 2 Peter 1:3 According as his divine power
And we know that Paul taught us in Romans 1:18 that the power of Christ is His Gospel
which is His good news.
16 For I
am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it (the Gospel of Christ) is
the power of God unto salvation
to every one that believeth;
So we see he is speaking of the Good news
of Christ is the power of God to the believer. Now, how can you have the Power
of God with no power? How do the intellectuals bypass that? I can tell you how the deny the power. They make the good news not good news.
You say what do you mean by that Pastor?
Well, what exactly does good news mean to you? What is your definition of Good
news? Would the promise of Eternal Life be good news to you? Would the promise
of salvation be Good News? would the promise of
healing be Good News to you? Would the promise of never hungering, never
thirsting, never perishing, never dwelling in darkness, or receiving remission
of your sins be considered Good News to you? would
doing the works of Christ be considered Good News to you?
Well, these are just some of the 19 promises
to the believer that we can read for ourselves in God's Word. And knowing that
God is not a man that he can lie, then if He made the
promise He is here to confirm those promises.
Would you say the promise to be conformed
to the Image of the first born son is Good News? Would you say that the promise
to become a manifested son of God in this mortal body you now live would be
considered Good News? Would you consider receiving your placement as a son
would be Good News?
Sure, we can say all of these promises of
God to the believer is Good News?
Well, then how do the false teachers make
the Good News not Good News? When they say all those promises are only for one
man, William Branham and they are not for you.
I'd like to share a quote that brother
Gordon sent to me the other day, where brother Branham said in his sermon 60-0911E Five identifications of the True Church of
the Living God paragraph 90 John
14:12, He gives the teaching what
the church should do. In John the 14th chapter, and the 12th
verse, we'll see what that says. John 14:12, so we read it, make it official. All right, John 14 and the 12th verse. Verily,
verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he
do also; and greater works than these do he, do, shall; because I go to my
Father. That's the message of the church:
"Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today, and forever," living in the church, King
of the church, raised from the dead, same yesterday, today, and forever, performing
the same works, doing the same things that Jesus did. That's
the message of the church. If the church isn't teaching That, it's teaching some false theology. That's
what Jesus commanded them to preach.
Therefore who is teaching false theology?
The one who teaches John 14:12 is for the church or those who teach it is not.
Therefore what is Good News, that John 14:12 is for you or John 14;12 is not for you?
Therefore, Is
being beaten down good news to you? Is sitting under a dark cloud of legalism
good news to you? Is being told what you can eat and what you can not eat good
news to you? Is being told to shut your mouth or you will be hauled off the
room good news to you? Is being told you are out of line when your conscience
objects to being told to do something against your conscience, is that Good
News? When you pay your taxes or tithes and then are told you have no say so in
church affairs because you missed a meeting Good News to you?
I am sure these things are not Good News
to any of You. So why has their Gospel become these
things and they call it the Gospel which means Good News?
So these men have taken the good news
which brings with it the glorious liberty of the sons of God and they have
turned it into bondage and darkness. They eat plenty for themselves but deny you
to eat even the scraps from their table. The priest tells you that you are not
allowed to read your Bible for yourself because he says, you will never
understand it. They tell you unless you are five fold minister you have nothing
to say about it.
Now, listen, these things have not only
taken place throughout the history of the church but are still taking place
right in this Message.
But Solomon told us in Ecclesiastes that
there is nothing new under the sun. So we turn to Scripture to identify those spirits
that would take Good News and make it bad news. And in doing
so they have to pervert the Scripture to do so.
But listen to the Good News
from God in Ezekiel
34:1 And the word of
the Lord came unto me,
saying, 2 Son of man,
prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God unto the
shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks? 3 Ye eat the fat,
and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill them that are fed: but ye feed not the
flock. 4 The diseased
have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick, neither
have ye bound up that which was broken, neither have ye brought again that
which was driven away, neither have ye sought that which was lost; but with
force and with cruelty have ye ruled them. 5 And they were
scattered, because there is no shepherd: and they became meat to all the beasts
of the field, when they were scattered. 6 My sheep
wandered through all the mountains, and upon every high hill: yea, my flock was
scattered upon all the face of the earth, and none did search or seek after
them. 7 Therefore, ye
shepherds, hear the word of the Lord;
8 As I live, saith the Lord God, surely
because my flock became a prey, and my flock became meat to every beast of the
field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my
flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flock;
9 Therefore, O ye
shepherds, hear the word of the Lord;
10 Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am
against the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause
them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed
themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from their mouth, that they
may not be meat for them.
11 For thus saith the
Lord God; Behold, I,
even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out. 12 As
a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he
is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will
deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and
dark day. 13 And I will bring
them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring
them to their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the rivers,
and in all the inhabited places of the country. 14 I will feed them in a good pasture, and
upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie in
a good fold, and in a fat pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel.
15 I will feed my flock, and I will
cause them to lie down, saith the Lord God. 16 I
will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and
will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick:
but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment.
17 And as for you, O my flock, thus saith the Lord God;
Behold, I judge between cattle and cattle, between the rams and the he goats.
18 Seemeth
it a small thing unto you to have eaten up the good pasture, but ye must tread
down with your feet the residue of your pastures? and
to have drunk of the deep waters, but ye must foul the residue with your feet?
19 And as for my flock, they eat
that which ye have trodden with your feet; and they drink that which ye have
fouled with your feet. 20 Therefore
thus saith the Lord God
unto them; Behold, I, even I, will judge between the fat cattle and between the
lean cattle. 21 Because ye
have thrust with side and with shoulder, and pushed all the diseased with your
horns, till ye have scattered them abroad; 22 Therefore
will I save my flock, and they shall no more be a prey; and I will judge
between cattle and cattle. 23 And
I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant
David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd. 24 And I the Lord will be their God, and my servant David a prince among
them; I the Lord have spoken it. 25 And
I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to
cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep
in the woods. 26 And I will
make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the
shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing. 27 And the tree of the field shall yield
her fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase, and they shall be safe in
their land, and shall know that I am the Lord,
when I have broken the bands of their yoke, and delivered them out of the hand
of those that served themselves of them. 28 And
they shall no more be a prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast of the
land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them afraid.
29 And I will raise up for them a
plant of renown, and they shall be no more consumed with hunger in the land,
neither bear the shame of the heathen any more.
30 Thus shall they know that I the Lord their God am with them, and that they, even the house of
Israel, are my people, saith the Lord God. 31 And
ye my flock, the flock of my pasture, are men, and I am your God, saith the Lord God.
So we find the Apostle Peter tell us in 2 Peter 1:3 That God's Word to us is Good News,
and in that Good news there is power, the very power of God, and as he
continues in verse 3 and 4 he tells us that power is transforming power, the
power of an endless Life, eternal life., and that is what Easter is all about.
That's what resurrection power is all about.
It is not about how well you can live it, it is
about your willingness to die to yourself so that the Very Life of Christ can
come in and live it for you. After all he has proven that He could Live the Life because he did it, and he wants to do it in
your body.
And so Peter tells us in verse 3 According as his divine power (His Gospel, His Good
News) hath given unto us all
things that pertain unto life and
godlikeness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us
to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby
are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these promises
ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the
corruption that is in the world through lust.
Wheeww!!!!
Now that we have gotten through
that, let's begin our message this morning.
Colossians 2:9 For in him dwelleth
all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10 And ye are complete in him,
which is the head of all principality and power: 11 In
whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in
putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: 12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye
are risen with him through the faith of the
operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. 13 And
you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision
of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; 14 Blotting out the handwriting of
ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of
the way, nailing it to his cross; 15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a
shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. 16 Let no
man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or
of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
Now let's also
read of this quickening power in Ephesians 2:1 And you hath he quickened, who were
dead in trespasses and sins
And in Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up
Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall
also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth
in you.
Now, these scriptures
take us to where i wish to begin this morning, and
since this is Easter and we are here to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus
Christ let us open our Bibls to 1 Corinthians 15:12 and read, Now if Christ be
preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no
resurrection of the dead? 13 But if there be no resurrection
of the dead, then is Christ not risen: 14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our
preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. 15 Yea,
and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that
he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not. 16
For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised: 17
And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. 18
Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished. 19 If in this
life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. 20 But now
is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. 21 For
since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made
alive. 23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits;
afterward they that are Christ's at his parousia.
Jesus
Promised us believers, that those who believe in Him as he promised us in John 11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the
resurrection, and the life: “he that believeth” in me,
though he were dead, yet shall he live:
So not only did
he rise from the dead, but we are also promised though “though we were
dead,
yet shall we live.”
Now, we
take it that most Christians are hoping for a resurrection for themselves after they die physically die. They do not know
when, but they live their life in hope. and a brother
Branham said, 95% of all who come through the healing line have hope and not
faith, and hope is the enemy of faith.
Faith
cometh by hearing 54-0320 P:26 My, how I like to think of faith, hope,
and charity, those three things. And hope, what a beautiful thing hope is.
Little, timid hope, lovely and sweet as she is, yet, she's the
greatest enemy faith has. That's right. The greatest enemy faith's got is hope. 'Cause a person becomes so hopeful
till they leave away from faith.
Therefore,
I am here this morning to tell you that it is not a hope that we have in the
resurrection but a reality. Because there is a way that we can know whether we
will rise from the dead and that is because we have already risen from the
dead. Solomon said, "That
which is to come has already been." And we will rise again because we already have risen with
Him.
Therefore
as the Apostle Paul said in Romans
8:24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen
is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he
yet hope for?
Notice
here Paul says if you've seen it, it's no longer hope, so hope is what is not yet
seen. And faith is not only a substance but
it is the evidence of things not seen. And faith has seen it,
that is why it is not hope.
Now,
notice the law of life, that we see in Genesis 1:11,
which teaches that “every
seed will bring after its kind” Although there is life in a seed, the life itself is an
invisible entity, and yet when that life begins to manifest its nature, it’s
attributes and its characteristics, it must hold to the law of life which is an
observable law relating to natural phenomena. In other words, there
are certain attributes and characteristics of every form of life.
Therefore
what about God Life in the believer? From God identifying Himself 64-0320 P:33
brother Branham said, "The pouring out of the Holy Ghost in the last days upon the
common people has identified God's characteristic with the people. He
promised it. It's the Word. He said He'd do it. Nobody can take it back. He
said He would do it. So all these things that He's promised, that's what He
does. It identifies His characteristic. Yes, sir. "Don't believe
it, don't believe My claims if My
characteristic isn't that of God." Now, notice in John 14:12, "He that
believeth on Me,"
He said, "has My identification, My characteristic. He that believeth on Me, the works
that I do shall he do also." That
identifies that the character of Christ is in him, displaying the
characteristics of Him. Amen.
Now, why do
I keep bringing this law of life into this topic on the resurrection of Christ?
Because different
brands of Christianity will produce different characteristics. So how do you
tell the real Christian from the counterfeit Christian? Well, if every seed
will produce attributes that will display the nature of the seed, then just watch
them, and by their fruits
you shall know them.
There are
many women who wear skirts and long hair, not just Christians. And having long
hair and long dresses doesn’t make you a Christian. But watch their life, see
how they act, watch the way they live, the actions they do, the works they
perform, the things they talk about and the music they listen too, and you will
soon know what life is alive and living in them.
From his
sermon, Door inside door
58-0209E P:73 Brother Branham said, Take the life
of
a sinner out and put the life of Christ in there, it'll bear the
fruits of Christ.
And again
from his sermon, Christ
is the mystery 63-0728 P:147 brother Branham said,
“God is not known by education; He's not
known by how to explain it. God is known by simplicity and of revelation of Jesus
Christ in the most illiterate person. See? Not your theology; it's
a revelation of Jesus Christ. "Upon this rock, I'll build My Church.” No other rock's accepted; no
other thing's accepted; no other Roman rock; no other Protestant
rock; no other school; no other nothing; but on exactly the revelation of
Jesus Christ in a new birth. He’s born in there and injects His own Life,
and your life is gone, and the Life of Christ is projecting Itself
through you with the pre-eminences to the people that they see 1)
the very Life, and 2) works, and 3) signs and wonders that
He did, is 5) doing the same thing through you. Outside of that, the
rest of it's not even called to at all.
Notice he
said, "Outside of that
the rest is not called for at all?" The rest of what? Scholarship,
education, how well you can break down the doctrine and talk it, outside of
that life reflecting his thoughts, his actions, his speech, his works, outside
of that forget it. You see, there are too many who are placing their trust in
their own man made ability to know and understand the Word of God, the
doctrine.
Yet the
Apostle Paul said, “And
though I have the gift of preaching, to the point where I
not only understand all the mysteries, and possess
all knowledge and can make it so plain in my preaching; and though I have all faith so that I could remove mountains, and yet have not the Love of
God in my heart for his children, I am as good as nothing in
God’s eyes.
Brother
Branham said in his sermon, Sirs,
we would see Jesus 63-1112 P:18 “We as Christian believers should reflect His Life, so
much, till it would be His entire representative. We should be
that. Every Christian should represent and reflect the Life
of Jesus Christ. Do you believe that? And I believe that every Christian
should be reflecting the Life of Christ. He said in Saint John 14:12, "He that believeth on Me,
the
works
I do shall he do also."
And then we know that that's true, that we are His representatives. And if
we claim that Christ lives in us, and if Christ lives in us, then we
should do as Christ did. We should reflect His Life.
And from
his sermon, The Rapture
65-1204 P:54 he said, Then
how do we get into this
Body? I
Corinthians 12,
"By one Spirit
we're all baptized into this Body," by one Holy
Spirit baptism. And that... If you want to put that
down, it's I
Corinthians 12:13:
"And by
one
Spirit we are all baptized..." And the Spirit is the Life of Christ (is that
right?), the
Life of Christ. And the life of any seed, which He was the Word Seed, brings
the seed to
life. You get it? If that life is laying in the seed and this
baptism of the Holy Spirit comes
upon it, it's bound to bring that seed life. Notice he says, “the life of any seed brings that
seed to life.”
From the Palmerworm locust caterpillar 59-0823
P:57 brother Branham
said, “And if Christ is
in that Vine, and the Life of Christ is in that person, it'll be like Jesus,
it'll bear the fruits of Him. It's His Spirit. It can't do nothing else
but do it. It's got to produce that Life, 'cause it's the same
Life. You just can't produce anything else. It'll act like Him;
It'll talk like Him; It'll walk like Him; It'll heal like Him; It'll see visions
like Him; It'll produce exactly His Life, perfectly, every time, because
It's His Life. You're just a shell.”
Now, in
getting back to what brother Branham said concerning Hope and fait, what do
you think
he meant when he said, “hope
is the greatest enemy of faith”? Well hope is
always
looking out there somewhere while Faith looks at what is inside. The evidence.
From The Third Exodus 63-0630M P:93 Brother
Branham says, of faith, “Its
resting place is in the sanctuary of God's Word, when faith, genuine faith sets
itself there. Not make-belief now: faith; not hope:
but faith. Hope's out here hoping it was in. Faith is already
in, looking out and saying, "It's done." That's faith.
There's where faith takes it's resting place,
for it knows that God will never, never let the enemy ride over the top of Him.
He never has. Faith knows that, so regardless of what the thing looks like...
And from Sir would we see Jesus 54-1205 P:37 he
said, Now, look. My
own faith in God will take it away from you; but it won't stay unless you have
the same… faith... See, don't just come with a
real reverence, just don't... Just be normal and say, "God, You promised
it, and I'm Your child." Now, watch. So you can
see what I mean the... Ninety percent of the people, sister, ninety-nine
and nine tenths that come saying, "Oh, I got faith," they have hope instead of
faith. Faith is positive.
Look, Hope is an
earnest expectation, the dictionary says hope is
To wish for something with expectation of its fulfillment. To look
forward to with confidence or expectation: But
notice it is always out there somewhere in the future beyond your grasp, whereas
Faith is an evidence,
it is a substance. In other words it is a reality, it is not a future hope so, it
is not a wish for, it is something you are already in possession of now, it is
the evidence that it is already there.
That is
what a Tone is all about. It is an evidence that the
price has already been paid. And Jesus resurrection is our evidence that all
God's promises are yeah, and yeah to us.
Now,
remember brother Branham said, it’s not your ability or your education, it’s not what you can reason yourself
into, but its “the revelation of Jesus Christ in a new birth. (notice, the revelation IN a
birth) He’s born in
there (whose
born IN there? Christ is Born in
You.) and (when he is born in you He) injects His own Life, (notice he said He injects His own Life, he injects, that's like being inoculated
where you use a needle to implant a germ
of life into your body expecting that germ to make you immune from certain things.
Well,
brother Branham tells us here that Revelation inoculates you and injects the very Life of Christ into the you and when that happens, he
says then) your life is
gone, and the Life of Christ is projecting Itself through you with
the pre-eminences to the people
Notice, your
life is hid in Christ with God and His life begins to grow and as it grows it begins to project itself forth for
everyone to see these new attributes and characteristics
that now are alive in you by his birth in you. Then he says, when the world sees this new life, this life that has been injected in you
and you are now projecting that life) that they see the very Life, and the works, and signs
and wonders that He did, is doing the same thing through you. Outside
of that, the rest of it's not even called to at all.
Notice,
the same life just in another vessel but living the same life, expressing the
same actions, same speech, same works, o I hope you can see why the
resurrection is so important to us and why the promise of John 14:12 is so very important, because it shows
those who are born again with the very life of Christ living in them and John
14:12
is the
projection of his Life in the believer showing it is the same life by the same
works, same actions, same words, same character.
From the Stature of a perfect man 62-1014M P:134 brother Branham said, “And then when we can get so transfused
by His power, that we die to our own thinking, and our faith becomes
a genuine faith (Hallelujah.), then (when? When we die to our own thinking then he says and only then will) the Life of Christ is transfused into us; we become living creatures of God,
a dwelling place where the Holy Spirit can send His radiant blessings down
through there, and we're in the statue of Christ.
And if in
the statue of Christ, the conformed to the image of the first born son. Now, listen
if you don’t think William Branham was not conformed to the image of the first born
son, you have missed the whole Appearing of Christ. Appear means to make known visible,
so if Christ has appeared, then how did he appear if you can not see him? He appeared
in His Prophet, lived in his prophet, spoke through his prophet, acted out his life
through his prophet, and did the works of Christ through his prophet. And if
you die, he will do the same through you. That’s what John 14:12 is all about,
not just greater works, but works, actions, a life lived. Not just for one man,
but for whosoever believeth.
From Christ is the Mystery of God Revealed 63-0728 P:120 brother Branham
said, “Look, Christ in you makes
Him the center of Life of the revelation. See? Christ's Life in you makes Him the
center of the revelation. Christ
in the Bible, makes the Bible a complete revelation
of Christ. Christ in you makes you the complete revelation of the whole thing. See, what God's trying to do?
You see
why it was so important to die to your own thoughts so you could see the doctrine
of Christ? You see why it was not only being able to believe and talk the doctrine
but to lay in the presence of the Son of God Light, so that you could see that relationship
that he had with the father and the Father with him, and not only to see that relationship
but to see Him as the pattern, the example seed, the very life expressed, and to
know that you as a son have entered into that same relationship, the very same
life of God passed down into the son in its fullness and set free from that
vessel that it might enter into all the vessels of God’s children so that we
might become sons in the very image and stature of Christ as Paul said in
Ephesians 4 where Paul said, “Till we all come in the unity of the faith, And what does it mean UNITY of the faith or revelation?
The word Unity
means: The state or quality of being one… And didn’t
Jesus pray in John
17 that we would be “one with God”
in the same way “He was One
with God”? And how
is this
possible? Through His very Life released into our vessel through the same revelation
he had we now have. Till we
all come in the unity of the faith, (oneness, how?) through the knowledge (ginosko, which is an experiential
knowledge) of the Son of God,(that word ginosko
is not just knowledge as tough something we can obtain in our head, but it is
an experiential knowledge, which we receive through a relationship with Christ.
You see, Mary said, “How can I be with child having
known-ginosko no man.
She had no
experience in the flesh with man, she had not received
a life giving seed from
man, and
this is to bring us to the place Paul calls) unto a perfect man, (a mature man) unto
the measure (metron or limited portion) of the stature (the character) in the fulfilling
of
Christ:”
From his
sermon Abraham and his
seed after him 61-0423 P:39 brother Branham said,
“raised Him up on the third day, and raised
up His body, and brought it up into glory, and there sent the Spirit back
down, and kept the body on His right hand side. Sent the Spirit
back down, to live in the church, to make a church just so much with the Life
of Christ that in the resurrection, the two will come together, Bride
and Bridegroom, the church and Christ will be exactly alike with the
same kind of ministry, same kind of power, same kind of Spirit. He raised up the body of Jesus Christ and set on His right side,
His right hand, and poured down the Spirit upon the church on the day of
Pentecost. That's how God proved His covenant with His church.
Same
ministry, same power, same kind of spirit he said.
That’s Genesis 1:11 the law of
life,
every seed after its kind. "The law of the spirit of
life in Christ Jesus."
And
brother Branham said in Planting
the vine and where to plant it 59-0920 P:40 It is
the Spirit of the living God that changes your nature.
What else
could live in you to produce Christ’s own life in you? It is God-Life, the very same God-Life that raised up Jesus from the
dead is what also quickens your mortal body, this body that you are now living
in. That’s your substance, that’s your evidence? And you can’t see, taste,
feel, smell or hear it, yet it is the very Life of Christ, God’s own Life,
living in you and you know it because you know what life you once had, and you know
what life you now have. O what an evidence. Not hope,
not a hope so, but a reality, a substance, a real
evidence is the very life itself is the only evidence. Not what you can quote,
not what you can pretend to know, not who you know, or how high you get promoted
in the church. It’s the very life of Christ living in you by the new birth, and
you either know you have that or you don’t. And no pretending will ever make it
real.
O, you
might pretend to be what you're not, and others might be fooled by it for a
while, but like Abraham Lincoln said, “You can fool some of the people all
of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all
of the people all of the time.”
The
Apostle Paul said in Galatians
6:3 For if a man think himself to be something,
when
he is
nothing, he deceives only himself.
And the
Apostle John said in 1 John
1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive only
ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
So it all comes down to what Life is being projected from our
vessel.
Identified
masterpiece of God 64-1205 P:50 What we need today is the life of Christ
inside of us. That's what purifies, not the outward, a turned-around collar, or
a degree of psychology, or something. It takes the power of the resurrected
Christ to make us what we should be. God has no other plan than let
the Holy Spirit rule and reign in the church.
Identified
Christ of all ages 64-0401 P:19 it takes death to
yourself to develop the picture of the image of Christ, the life of Christ in
you. You have to
dump your own out so that Christ can come in. You have to die to
yourself.
The
Apostle Paul didn’t have a great ministry because he was so much more
intellectual
than
anyone else. He said in 1
Corinthians 2:1 You'll
remember, friends, that when I came to you to let you in on God's master Piece,
I didn't try to impress you with polished
speeches and the latest philosophy. 2 I deliberately kept it plain and
simple: wanting you
to
know nothing but Jesus Christ and him crucified. (in other words,
Paul wanted to show
them the
character of the Life of Christ and the need for death to self to have this
life. He
goes on) 3 I was unsure of how to go about this, and
felt totally inadequate, I was scared to death, if you want the truth of it,
and so nothing I said could have impressed you or anyone else. But the Message
came through anyway. God's Spirit and God's power did it, which made it clear
that your life of faith is a response to God's power, not to some fancy mental
or emotional footwork by me or anyone else.
Brother
Branham said in Christ
is the mystery 63-0728 P:150 And Paul, this great intellectual man, never
tried to express his great theological terms upon the people. He humbly
accepted the Word of the Lord, and he lived the Word so that it expressed It.
He lived so, so godly until they seen Jesus Christ in him so much, till
they wanted his handkerchief to take it and lay it upon the sick. There's
the Life of Christ.
In Investments 63-1116B P:35
Brother Branham said, “That's no way to get the outsider. (The person who’s not a believer, he’s an
outsider, and he says if you want to catch
that person in the net for Christ the way to do it is to…) Live the Life, and let Christ live in you,
that makes him hunger and thirst to be like you. You become salty; he'll
get thirsty. The only way you can be salty is let the Life of Christ be in
you, for He is that. Salt only saves as it contacts. And that’s what Paul said in 1 Corinthians 2.
Again
brother Branham said, Hear
ye Him 58-0209A P:37 if the new life that you think you've
received doesn't pattern with God's Word, you've got the wrong life in you. The
life of Christ will produce the works of Christ, will produce the faith of
Christ, will make you act as Christ, will make you love Him. He
will be first in your life. Your objectives, your motives, and
everything will be all-together different. It'll be for the glory of God.
Now, if we
really want to know what it is that makes us a true believer, brother Branham
tells us
in the spoken word is the original seed.
Spoken
word original seed 62-0318M P:97 All right. Manifested, the works
manifested the same by us, for It is the same Word. Now, if you want to do the works of
Christ, do the same thing He done. "He that believeth on Me shall have My
works." What is that? Believeth what? That He is the Original Seed germ
that come.
Notice we
have gone full circle this morning, seeing the resurrection and life has got to
come from
the first born son into sons, the same seed life in the original seed will be
in
the other
seeds with the same life in them.
Influence
63-0112 P:65 And if the Life of Christ has been transferred into
you by the
Holy
Spirit, you bear the fruit, you live the life.
It
wasn't so from the beginning 61-0411 P:29 You say, "Well, we'll just live
loose." That shows your name isn't on the Book. That's exactly right. That
proves that you wasn't when you try to live any kind of life and that you want
to live. That's shows you haven't got it. If you're a real Christian, you'll
live the real life, because the Life in Christ is in you and you can do
nothing else but live the Life of Christ.
Notice he
said if you are a real Christian you will live the real life of Christ. You
won’t have to work at it, it will be as natural as
though he is living it for you because he is. That’s what Paul said, it’s not me living but Christ is living in
me.
From Israel at the red sea 2 53-0327 P:16 And
if a man's born of the Spirit of God, it's
automatically he lives the Life. … And if the Holy Spirit's on the
inside, it produces the
Life of Christ.
Amen. That's faith. Amen. All right.
True
vine and the false vine 55-0607 P:14 The Life that was in Christ has to be in
every
branch. And if Christ's Life in Him was a preaching the Kingdom of
God and healing
the sick, every branch will have the same substance in it, as it
comes up. It can't be
nothing else. The Life of Christ in you...
Is
your life worthy 63-0630E P:65 A Christian is to be
Christ-like. And
a Christian cannot be a Christian until Christ comes into the man, the Life
of Christ in him. Then it produces the Life that Christ lived, and you
do the things that Christ did. What am I talking about? Personal relationship to Christ. What is it? Is
your life worthy of the Gospel? That's
what Easter's all about, It's His Life coming back to live our life for us.
Conferences
61-0410 P:80 If you're not born again, then you're not a Christian. You
can only be a Christian when you take the life of Christ in you. If the
life of Christ is in you, it'll produce the life of Christ.
Conferences
60-0228 P:37 We could scream, and shout, and do whatever we want to; it'll
never influence man until they see the life of Christ being projected in you,
someone
who's
tender, and merciful, and forgiving, and ready to turn the other side of the
cheek, or give the second coat, or go the second mile: Christianity in
action, not just taught from the pulpit, but acted among the members, among
the pastors. That's when you see Christ living in the church, decisions
made.
Countdown
the 62-1125E P:54 Now, He said, "He that believeth on
Me, the works that I do shall he also." He cannot change that decision.
He said, "These signs shall follow them that believe." If the Life
of Christ be in you, if the mind of Christ, then we're concerned and do
the things of Christ. He said these signs that He done will follow every
believer that believes in Him.
