Examples of Desperation in Scripture

This evening we will continue in our study of brother
Branham's sermon Desperation and we will look at
several Bible examples that br. Branham gives us concerning believers who became
desperate before God and went to God in prayer for their need. We see in every
case that God blessed them for coming to him in their time of need.
Therefore let's pick up at paragraph 67 where brother Branham says, "Ruth got desperate one time
when she was standing by Naomi.
Would she have to go back to her people, to all that she loved, and all that
she worshipped, her gods and her people, or would she cleave to Naomi? What
must she do?
Now, as we get into these
examples I do not want you to look at What Ruth did, but I want you to look and
see what you would have done in the same situation. She had been married to a
man who had come from another country. She had in turn adopted His way of life
and His God. But now that man was taken from her in death. She had a decision
to make, do I go with my mother in law whom I have only known for 10 years, and
follow her God who has now become my God, or do I go back to the comfort of my
mother and father, sisters and brothers. So when you read project yourself into
her situation, and you will be able to see this was not a no brainer decision,
this was a life changing decision she was about to make, and in desperation she
had to make her choice.
As brother Branham said in his sermon, Abraham
preached in 1957, he said, "Just place
yourself back in the Bible times" and
in his Questions and answers COD 64-0830M
P:109 he said,
"The Word of God is never ending. See, we are identify ourselves in the Bible with different... How many
remembers my message on identifying yourself with Christian characters,
Phoenix, Arizona, where I preached it? Yeah, many of you has got it on the
tape. See? Identified with Christian
Character. See? You can identify yourself anywhere
you want to in that Scripture if you are a Christian, and if
you're not a Christian, you can identify yourself in the Bible. See?"
And from his sermon Token the 63-1128E P:98 Brother, sister, now to you people who has
received Christ years ago and maybe you feel that--that you have received that
Token... I hope that it's right. If you have, you don't have to worry about it.
It reflects Itself. How could I keep
from being Beethoven if he lived in me? If
Christ is in you, just look at yourself in God's Mirror here, the Bible. See what some Bible character looked like,
see if you picture up with Daniel, with
Ezekiel, with the Christians of the early Church. See if you
picture up with them.
In his sermon Three
kinds of believers 63-1124E P:81 brother
Branham said, "Identify yourself
with a Bible character that believed. Where you believed the Word when It was
a-vindicated like I proved It tonight that it was a-vindicated Word, always,
always, contrary to the popular belief. If you should've lived in the days
of Noah (Now, let me say.), what side would you been on? the church
side or Noah's side, the prophet? See? If you'd lived in the days of Moses,
would you have believed Moses' message after It'd been proven and a-vindicated
by God? But would you went with Korah and Dathan and them and said,
"You're not the holy man; other people can do these things that you do
too"? See? You'd have to be one, and you are tonight.
And from his sermon, Spritual
amnesia 64-0411 P:42 brother Branham said, if "You're confessing a
Christian and denying the Word. Brings you right back to spiritual amnesia
again (See?), don't know where you stand. You got spiritual amnesia. You can't identify yourself with
the Scriptures. You had to be with the disciples; you had to be
with all the Scripture, with the church when it was commissioned. But now
when the church was commissioned, "Go ye
into all the world and preach the Gospel, these signs shall follow them that
believe..." That was her commission. Now. That
was the commission, but they have gotten a bad case of this spiritual amnesia,
just like Eve got on her round through the garden one day. Now, she's like
Israel, suffering from this same disease, an allergy from a seminary diet.
That'll give you spiritual amnesia. Get some seminary diet, and you'll get
an allergy. And then the first thing you know you'll get amnesia real
bad. You won't believe anything the Bible says.
You know
there is a lot of wisdom in what he just said here. You eat a lot of sugar and
GMO foods and you will get allergies. And you eat a lot of Satan's Eden hybrid
produced food and you will become allergic to the Spiritual Food in due season.
So as we continue with our study in brother Branham's
sermon, "Desperation" we will be looking at different Bible
characters who come to the place of desperation, and when they did they began
to pray, and in their desperation we see God blessing them.
Now, in getting back to
paragraph 67
brother Branham is speaking about Ruth. And he says, "And she got
in desperation and she cried out, "Where
you go, I'll go; where you live, I'll live; where you die, I'll die; where
you're buried, I'll be buried; and your God shall be my God." There you are: desperate. God blessed her, gave her
a son, Obed. Obed begot Jesse; Jesse begot... Through Jesse come Jesus. Because desperation...Like the little
harlot Rahab, she was desperate. She knowed that death laid before her. She was
under judgment, and she got desperate, said, "I'll hide you spies; I'll do anything; only swear to your God
that my house will stand." There you are. He
said, "If you'll take this token, it will."
Ruth 1:1 Now
it came to pass in the days when the judges ruled, that there was a famine in
the land. And a certain man of Bethlehem Judah went to sojourn in the country
of Moab, he, and his wife, and his two sons. 2 And the name of the man was Elimelech, and the name of his wife Naomi, and the
name of his two sons Mahlon and Chilion, Ephrathites of Bethlehem Judah. And
they came into the country of Moab, and continued there. 3 And
Elimelech Naomi's husband died; and she
was left, and her two sons. 4 And
they took them wives of the women of Moab; the name of the one was Orpah, and the name of the other Ruth: and they dwelled there about ten years. 5 And Mahlon and Chilion died also
both of them; and the woman was left of her two sons and her husband. 6 Then
she arose with her daughters in law, that she might return from the country of
Moab: for she had heard in the country of Moab how that the LORD had
visited his people in giving them bread. 7 Wherefore she went forth out of the place
where she was, and her two daughters in law with her; and they went on the
way to return unto the land of Judah. 8 And Naomi said unto her two daughters in law,
Go, return each to her mother's house: the LORD deal kindly with you, as ye
have dealt with the dead, and with me. 9 The LORD grant you that ye may
find rest, each of you in the house of her
husband. Then she kissed them; and they lifted up their voice, and wept. 10 And they said unto her, Surely we will return
with thee unto thy people. 11 And Naomi said, Turn
again, my daughters: why will ye go with me? are
there yet any more sons in my womb, that they may
be your husbands? 12 Turn again, my daughters, go your way; for I am too old to have an husband. If I
should say, I have hope, if I should have an
husband also to night, and should also bear sons; 13 Would ye tarry for them till they were grown? would ye stay for
them from having husbands? nay, my daughters; for it grieveth me much for your
sakes that the hand of the LORD is gone out against me. 14 And they lifted up their
voice, and wept again: and Orpah kissed her mother in law; but Ruth clave unto her. 15 And she said, Behold, thy sister in law is gone back
unto her people, and unto her gods: return
thou after thy sister in law. 16 And Ruth said, Intreat me not to
leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither
thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God: 17 Where thou diest, will I die, and there
will I be buried: the LORD do so to me, and more also, if
ought but death part thee and me. 18 When she saw that she was stedfastly minded to go with her, then she
left speaking unto her. 19 So
they two went until they came to Bethlehem.
Now, this is the same
kind of faith that Elisha had when Elijah had tried several times to get him to
leave him. But he wouldn't because the blessing remained in being a faithful
follower.
In II Kings the 2nd
chapter and verse 1 we read 2:1 "And it came to pass, when the LORD would take up Elijah into
heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal.And Elijah said
unto Elisha, Tarry ye here, I pray thee, for the LORD has sent me to Beth-el,
And Elisha said unto him, As the LORD liveth, and as Thy soul liveth, I will
not leave thee. So they went down to Beth-el.And the sons of the prophets...
were at Beth-el came forth to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the
LORD will take away Thy master from Thy head to day? And he said, Yea, I know
it; hold ye your peace.And Elijah said unto him, Elisha, tarry here, I pray
thee; for the LORD has sent me to Jericho.And he said, As the LORD liveth, and
as Thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they came to Jericho.And the sons
of the prophets... were at Jericho came to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest
thou that the LORD will take away Thy master from Thy head to day? And he
answered, Yea, I know it; hold... your peace, And Elijah said unto them, Tarry,
here I pray thee; for the LORD has sent me to Jordan. And he said, As the LORD
liveth, and as Thy soul liveth, I'll not leave thee. And they two went on."
Now, brother
Branham said in his sermon It is I 60-1124 P:22 "When Elijah
and Elisha, which was a type: Christ to the church... Elisha taken a double
portion of the Spirit, "These things that I
do shall you do, and greater than this shall you do." When the cloak that was on him, the Holy Spirit was
on him, falls upon the church... 'Cause He was just one Man. Church is
universal. "More than this shall you do for
I go to the Father." And Elisha knowed more
about that, being a prophet, than the church does today. Elijah said,
when there was a gathering, said, "You stay
here. The Lord's called me yonder. I'm going up to the school of the prophets." But Elisha, like the church ought to be today,
"As the Lord God lives, I'm not going to
leave you." For he had an objective in his
mind, and his motives was certainly right. When he got to the school of
prophets, he said, 'You stay here; the
Lord's called me to Jordan.' He said, "As the Lord lives in your soul and never dies, I'm not going
to leave you." He couldn't leave him;
he stayed right by him, both eyes on him, holding to him. That's what the
church has got to do today. No matter what comes or goes, hold onto Him. If
the church cools off, no matter what takes place, hold to God's unchanging
hand. Get a hold of Calvary, and stay there. That's the way to get something
from God. Hold to it, don't let the devil shake you away. Them disciples
would say, "Where You go, I go."
The next person brother Branham mentions is Eliezer,
who was the head servant of Abraham, and entrusted in the finding of a proper
wife for his son Isaac.
In pp. 68 brother Branham says, "Eliezer got
desperate when a responsibility was placed upon him to hunt a bride for
Isaac. Eliezer of Damascus was a great man. He was favored by Abraham, and he
was trusted by Abraham to go out and hunt a bride, a right type of a bride, for
his son, Isaac. Through that would bring forth Christ. Now, Eliezer, being a
spiritual man, knowed what it meant. The right kind of a woman had to be that
man's wife. And how would he choose it? In the hour of his desperation, when he
arrived at the city, he prayed and said, "Lord
God..." That's the thing. When you get desperate go to praying.
"Lord God, let the first maid that comes
forth and waters the camel and gives me a drink be that." He prayed in the hour of his desperation.
We first hear of Eliezer in the Bible in Genesis 15:1 when
Abraham is praying to God about not having an heir. "After
these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear
not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward. 2 And
Abram said, Lord GOD, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the
steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus? 3 And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast
given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir. 4 And,
behold, the word of the LORD came unto him,
saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine
own bowels shall be thine heir. 5 And he brought
him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou
be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be. 6 And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to
him for righteousness.
Then in Genesis 24:1 we see Eliezer again in his
role as the Chief Steward over Abraham's house. "And Abraham was old, and well stricken in age: and the LORD had blessed Abraham in all things.
2 And Abraham said
unto his eldest servant of his house, that ruled over all that he had, (that
would be Eliezer) "Put, I pray thee, thy hand under my thigh: 3 And
I will make thee swear by the LORD, the God of heaven, and the God of the
earth, that thou shalt not take a wife unto my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I dwell: 4 But thou shalt go
unto my country, and to my kindred, and take a wife unto my son Isaac.
5 And the servant said unto him, Peradventure the woman will not be willing to follow me unto this land:
must I needs bring thy son again unto the land from whence thou
camest? 6 And Abraham
said unto him, Beware thou that thou bring not my son thither again.
Notice how important
it is with God that you never bring your children back from what you came out
from. I have talked to many parents over the years about this because they
would tell their children about what God had taken them out from, and then
their children would get older and then they would say, "mom, or Dad was
into drugs and booze and sex and those things and they turned out ok, so I can
do it too, and right their you have lost them."
We are warned by the Holy Ghost through the ministry
of the apostle Paul in Hebrews 11:15 of this when he says, "And truly, if they had been
mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had
opportunity to have returned."
Therefore, once your
mind has been changed, and your heart has been purged by the Holy Fire of God,
you place your own sin under the blood of Christ and never bring that sin which
has now been covered by the blood out into site ever again, for if you remove
that sin from the blood it is no longer under the blood.
And I have seen
parents talk about their sin as a youngster to their own children and then they
wonder why the children walk in sin. Once and for all place your sins past
present and future under the shed blood of the lamb of God Christ Jesus and
never bring those things up again or you will no t be forgiven those sins
because you still hold onto them.
You've got to learn
people that you never did do it in the first place, and when you admit it, you
are accepting it, and then you are professing it instead of professing the
blood.
Invisible union of the bride
65-1125 P:109 The call of the Holy Spirit searching the
hearts... You're standing completely. You never sinned in the first place.
God don't even know... It's in the sea of forgetfulness. You never
did it. You were accused of it by the accuser; but really from the
beginning you were predestinated to be a son or daughter of God. You're standing there washed,
and your old book of divorcement's put away and is dead, absolutely out of
existence even in the mind of God. You are the virtuous Bride of
Christ, washed in the Blood of Christ: precious, virtuous, sinless, Son of God
standing with a pure, unadulterated Bride Word that He washed by the Water of
His own Blood that become flesh and manifested that He might take you, which
were predestinated in the bosom of the Father before the beginning, the same as
He was...
Don't ever
forget those words, brother and sisters. The devil is the accuser of the
brethren, but the blood of Jesus Christ is greater than the devil and his
accusations. And when you talk of your sinful past you are negating the
existence of the blood of Christ, and you are openly inviting your children to
go where you came out from. That means you are pointing them to go backwards,
and not forward with Christ.
Hebrews 11:15 "And truly, if they had been
mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned

sermon, Invisible union of the bride 65-1125 P:107 Brother Branham said, "Your first husband
that you were married to, the world, the anointed Bridegroom, which
foreordained you, has washed you by the washing
of the water by the church? That don't
sound right, does it? You might find that in the almanac, but not in God's
Bible. By the washing of the Water by the Word, and the Word. See? You are standing completely
justified as though you never did it at the beginning. This is my message
to the church now as we go off the air just in a minute. You are standing, if
you're standing on God's Word and with God's Word, every amen, every jot, every
tittle. Where you standing? I'm trying to tell you: Pull away from them shucks
and get out here in the wheat where you can get ripe before the sun. I hear the
coming of the combine. You're standing complete, justified like you never
did it in the first place. Hallelujah. Talk about a Thanksgiving. I feel
real good. I'm more thankful for that than anything I know of. You are the
pure, virtuous, sinless Bride of the Son of the living God. Every man and woman
that's born of the Spirit of God, and washed in the Blood of Jesus Christ, and
believes every Word of God, stands as though you never sinned at the first
place. You're perfect. The Blood of Jesus Christ...
Invisible union of the bride
65-1125 P:94 How did you come to do this? You were
deceived into it by your first marriage, to your adulteress parent Eve. It's no fault of your own.
By your natural birth, you come after Eve, who committed adultery. That's the
reason you was born an adulteress. You were a sinner to begin with. That's
right. You was deceived into it. You had no... No, it ain't your fault.
You never did it, because that little Germ that was in you, was to be
you before the foundation of the world. God put your name in the Lamb's Book of
Life.
Then why
would you claim what you never were to begin with? Once it is under the blood
never ever bring it up again. If Satan uses someone to do it, deny it ever
happened, because you have a Prophet of God who told you "you never did do
it", and he's talking about the real you.
Now look, if
a mad man stole your car and ran over a crowd of people would you hold yourself
guilty because it was your car the mad man drove into that crowd of people?
Then how
could you ever hold onto and think of yourself as doing what the devil did when
he used your body? You didn't do it, that predestined gene seed in you never
did it, but the devil just took control
of your flesh and he did it. But you asked God to forgive you and cleanse you
and He agreed to do it when he sent his Son Jesus to die on your behalf. Now,
leave it dead.
I am going to read you a bunch of Scriptures that
all say the same thing. "Once you come out of darkness into the glorious
Light of God' Word don't you ever go back to it for any reason.
1 John 2:8 Again, a new commandment I
write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.
1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a
royal priesthood, a holy nation,
a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called
you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
1 Thessalonians 5:5 Ye
are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of
the night, nor of darkness.
1 Thessalonians 5:4 But ye, brethren,
are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a
thief.
Colossians 1:13 Who hath delivered us
from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the
kingdom of his dear Son:
Ephesians 5:11 And have no fellowship
with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
Ephesians 5:8 For ye were sometimes
darkness, but now are ye light in the
Lord: walk as children
of light:
2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked
together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with
unrighteousness? and what communion hath
light with darkness?
Romans 13:12 The night is far spent, the
day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness,
and let us put on the armor of light.
John 12:46 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever
believeth on me should not abide in darkness.
John 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto
them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not
walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
John 3:19 And this is the condemnation,
that light is come into the world, and men
loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
Luke 11:36 If thy whole body therefore be full of light,
having no part dark, the whole shall be full of
light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light.
Luke 11:35 Take heed therefore that the
light which is in thee be not darkness.
Now, back to our
examination of Eliezer in Genesis 24:7 The LORD God of heaven, which
took me from my father's house, and from the land of my kindred, and which
spake unto me, and that sware unto me, saying, Unto thy seed will I give this
land; he shall send his angel before thee, and thou shalt take a
wife unto my son from thence. 8 And if the woman will
not be willing to follow thee, then thou shalt be clear from this my oath:
only bring not my son thither again. 9 And the servant put his hand
under the thigh of Abraham his master, and sware to him
concerning that matter. 10 And the servant took ten camels of
the camels of his master, and departed; for all the goods of his master were in his hand: and he arose, and went to Mesopotamia, unto the city of Nahor.
11 And he made his camels to kneel down without the city
by a well of water at the time of the evening, even
the time that women go out to draw water. 12 And he
said, O LORD God of my master Abraham, I pray thee, send me good speed this
day, and shew kindness unto
my master Abraham. 13 Behold,
I stand here by the well of water; and the
daughters of the men of the city come out to draw water: 14 And
let it come to pass, that the damsel to whom I shall say, Let down thy pitcher,
I pray thee, that I may drink; and she shall say, Drink, and I will give thy
camels drink also: let the same be she that thou hast appointed for thy servant Isaac; and
thereby shall I know that thou hast shewed kindness unto my
master. 15 And it came to
pass, before he had done speaking, that, behold, Rebekah came out, who was born
to Bethuel, son of Milcah, the wife of Nahor, Abraham's brother, with her
pitcher upon her shoulder. 16 And the damsel was very fair to look upon, a virgin, neither had any
man known her: and she went down to the well, and filled her
pitcher, and came up. 17 And
the servant ran to meet her, and said, Let me, I pray thee, drink
a little water of thy pitcher. 18 And she said, Drink, my lord: and she hasted, and let down her pitcher
upon her hand, and gave him drink. 19 And when she
had done giving him drink, she said, I will draw water
for thy camels also, until they have done drinking. 20 And
she hasted, and emptied her pitcher into the trough, and ran again unto the
well to draw water, and drew for all his camels. 21 And the man wondering at her held his peace, to wit whether the LORD
had made his journey prosperous or not. 22 And it
came to pass, as the camels had done drinking, that the man took a golden
earring of half a shekel weight, and two bracelets for her hands of ten shekels weight of gold; 23 And said, Whose daughter art
thou? tell me, I pray thee: is there room in
thy father's house for us to lodge in? 24 And she
said unto him, I am the daughter of Bethuel the
son of Milcah, which she bare unto Nahor. 25 She
said moreover unto him, We have both straw and provender enough,
and room to lodge in. 26 And the man bowed down his head, and worshipped the LORD. 27 And he said, Blessed be
the LORD God of my master Abraham, who hath not left destitute my master of his
mercy and his truth: I being in the way, the LORD led me to the house of my master's brethren. 28 And the damsel ran, and told them of her mother's house these things.
Look at the desperation Eliezer had. It wasn't for
himself that he was looking for a wife, but for Abraham's son. And he had
traveled three months, and had prayed that God would lead him to the house of
Abraham's kindred, and when he saw that God had indeed led him to the house of
Abraham's own brother, how could he not rejoice.
Now, right after showing us Eliezer, who is a type of
the seventh angel messenger whose ministry was to search out a bride for
Christ, brother Branham brings us to Rebekah the bride who Eliezer came to
fetch for Isaac.
69 Rebekah, the
beautiful maid, came, watered the camel. And then he said, "Don't delay me in my way." She had to come to a time of
decision whether she would go. She was a type of the Bride. Would she go and
marry a man who she's never even seen? Now, that's a great thing. Never even seen him, yet she'd only heard
by his servant. That's a type of the Bride. You've never seen Christ, but you hear by His servants what He is.
You sell out everything, leave your homes, everything else it takes, to go to
find Him. Now, notice. And she made the decision, a type of the Bride, left her
denominational home (See?) to go.
Now, let's read on in Genesis 24:28 And the damsel ran, and told them of her mother's house these things. 29 And Rebekah had a brother, and
his name was Laban: and Laban ran out unto the
man, unto the well. 30 And it came to pass, when
he saw the earring and bracelets upon his sister's hands, and when he heard the
words of Rebekah his sister, saying, Thus spake the man unto me; that he came
unto the man; and, behold, he stood by the camels at the well. 31 And
he said, Come in, thou blessed of the LORD; wherefore standest thou without?
for I have prepared the house, and room for the camels.
Now, I want you to
see how Laban had a different motive than Rebekah had. She had a right heart
and when she saw the man did not know him but still drew water for him and for
his camels. Eternal Life lives for others. But Laban he came after he saw the
gold on his sisters arms, perhaps wanting some for himself. And don't forget
years later when he made a deal with Isaac's son Jacob to wed his daughter
Rachel, he pulled a fast one on him seeing how blessed he was for seven years
while Jacob served him, so he wanted a double portion and used trickery to get
seven more years.
But Rebekah was not
like him. She was kind and generous of her time and efforts for this stranger.
Knowing that God's Word tells us sometimes when we entertain strangers we are
entertaining angels and we don't even know it.
Hebrews 13:2 Be not forgetful to entertain
strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
Genesis 24:32 And
the man came into the house: and he un-girded his camels, and gave straw and
provender for the camels, and water to wash his feet, and the men's feet that were with him. 33 And
there was set meat before him to eat: but he
said, I will not eat, until I have told
mine errand. And he said, Speak on. 34 And he
said, I am
Abraham's servant. 35 And
the LORD hath blessed my master greatly; and he is become great: and he hath
given him flocks, and herds, and silver, and gold, and menservants, and
maidservants, and camels, and asses. 36 And Sarah
my master's wife bare a son to my master when she was old: and unto him hath he given all
that he hath. 37 And
my master made me swear, saying, Thou shalt not take a wife to my son of the
daughters of the Canaanites, in whose land I dwell: 38 But
thou shalt go unto my father's house,
and to my kindred, and take a wife unto my son. 39 And I said unto my master,
Peradventure the woman will not follow me. 40 And
he said unto me, The LORD, before whom I
walk, will send his angel with thee, and prosper thy way; and thou shalt take a
wife for my son of my kindred, and of my father's house: 41 Then shalt thou be clear from
this my oath, when thou comest to my kindred; and
if they give not thee one, thou shalt be clear from my oath. 42 And I came this day unto the
well, and said, O LORD God of my master Abraham, if now thou do prosper my way which I go: 43 Behold,
I stand by the well of water; and it shall come to pass, that when the virgin
cometh forth to draw water, and I say to her,

the woman whom the LORD hath appointed out for my master's son.

you say to this mountain be moved and don't doubt in your heart it shall be so
even as you have said."

59-1123 P:15 Did you notice Jesus said here, "Verily,
I say unto you, 'If ye shall say to this mountain, "Be plucked up, and
cast into the sea"'; and don't doubt, but believe in your heart that what
you have said shall come to pass; you can have what you said.'"
Now, I could not justify that, because I could not understand it. How then
could it be that I would say something, as a man, and then how... What if I
said something that wasn't according to His Word and asked something wasn't
according to His Word, then it would have to come to pass. Because Jesus said,
"If you say..." not,
"If I say..." but, "If
you say..." placing it upon His apostles, upon the
believers. "Whosoever
shall say unto this mountain, 'Be moved'; and don't doubt in their heart, but
believe that what they have said shall come to pass; they can have what you said."
Not what He said, what
you say.

you, that's you're anointed for the job, and will know that it's the will of
God to do it, and will say it, it's got to happen. "If ye..."
It was He that said this: "If ye abide in Me and My
Words abide in you, ask what you will, and it shall be done to you."
