Doctrine no 14

Doctrine of Christ or Doctrine of Balaam

Brian Kocourek, May xx  2015

This evening I would like to take our text from two Scriptures, the first being Revelations 2 and then 2 John 8-9

Revelation 2:14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there (with you) them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.

And now 2 John:8  Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have worked for, but that we receive a full reward. 9  Whosoever goes beyond the limits, and remaineth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that remains in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

Let us pray...

Now, notice John said, Whosoever goes beyond the limits, and remaineth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God.

In other words, God's Doctrine has limits to it, and we must not go beyond those self imposed limits God has placed upon His Word which is His Doctrine, for the Word Logos, means both word and doctrine.

That is why I have been so adamant concerning John 14:12 to say it just like the prophet said it. He said it is everyone, whoever, anyone who believes etc. When I say it like he says it, I am branded a heretic by some, but I have asked the brothers to explain to me what William Branham said, when he used those words, and to date I have not been given a good explanation. They take quotes where brother Branham says, God is to come in his people and manifest himself as he did in his prophets, and say there he is using plural to speak about himself. And that is fine but I still do not believe that He would say anybody, or everyone, or whosoever, and then be speaking of himself.

All I ask is for someone to please show me what William Branham meant by these words.

59-0628E - "Questions And Answers" 172  88b. Brother Branham,... Can any man do the works of Christ unless he was Christ? That's what it is, "Unless he was Christ?" Sure. Let's take Saint John, just a minute. Saint John the 14th chapter and I want you to look at this, now, if you can catch it right quick, Saint John 14:12, I believe it is. We'll get it right quick, and look what Jesus said about this. All right, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He," "whoever it is", "He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also." Any man, The man himself can't be Christ, but the works of Christ will follow every believer. See? He'll do the works of Christ in any man. "He that believeth in Me, the works that I do, he shall do." Not, "I shall do," "he shall do, he shall," not, "I." "But he believes in Me and has confessed his faith in Me and died out to himself and My Spirit dwells in him and he becomes a part of Me." Now that don't make him Christ. It makes him part of Christ with the rest of the Church. All right. He is not Christ, because that would be anti-Christ, you see. He would be taking away from Christ. But he can be, do the works of Christ, any believer. All right.

You see, God's doctrine has limits, and we are limited to God's Word and saying as he said it. William Branham is answering the question some sincere person has concerning John 14:12 and the very one who men say is the "he" that Jesus is speaking of in John 14:12 tells us it does not speak only of Himself, but it speaks of any believer, who is filled with the Holy Ghost. he said the "he" in "He that believeth" is  (1) whosoever it is, and in (2) any man and in (3) every believer and again in  (4) any man, and in (5) any believer, etc. Now this is the explanation for the question concerning John 14:12 that this Vindicated prophet of God gave, and he is the very man they say it only applies to.

And what about William Branham's explanation concerning the "he" in John 14:12 in his sermon, Christ is the Mystery - 63-0728-138 where he said, "The works that I do shall you do also," every creature, every person that believes in Him. Now, where's it at? That's His Words. "Heavens and earths will pass away, but My Word shall never fail." Now, where's it at? See?

Notice again he uses the words "every person". And tghen he again says in  Christ is the Mystery - 63-0728 - 68 St. John 14:12, He said, "He (he, anybody)--he that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also."

Therefore, until I can have a satisfactory explanation from God's prophet himself, I must stand on what I know him to have said. Other wise we give ourselves license to question everything he says, reason out everything and consign our own belief over to some other person to tell us what the prophet really means. I believe he said what he means and he meant what he said.

And if we have trouble with John 14:12 which is 100% in line with the doctrine of Christ, because it speaks of the same Life that was in Christ expressing itself in the believer, then what are we going to do with every time the word he is used in Scripture. Does it all speak of just one man? And specifically, what are we going to do with the "he" in the following verse.

"He that remains in the doctrine of Christ, "he" hath both the Father and the Son.

Is this also singular? If not, then why not, it is the word "he", isn't it?

But to move on we know that the word "hath" used in this Scripture was translated from the Greek word "echo" and an echo not only says the same thing as the original, but says it in the same way with the same inflection as the original. And that shows the same spirit of the original.

So we see here that the real test at the end-time will be whether we remain in the Doctrine of Christ or whether we go out from it and are tempted with the Doctrine of Balaam.

And then in the next verse John says, 2 John 10  If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: 11  For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

Now, this is quite a statement from the Apostle John because it's very strong language concerning the Doctrine of Christ and our behavior towards them that do not believe it. And John says if you even bid God speed to those who do not echo this doctrine, you are a partaker in their evil deeds.  And the word partaker was translated from the same word koinonea which is used as fellowship in Acts 2:40

It means to share with others To communicate, to distribute, to be a partaker.

So what are the evil deeds the Apostle John is speaking of here? And why is he so strong in his language towards those who oppose the Doctrine of Christ?

The word John used here for “evil” was translated from the Greek wordPoneros Now, this word Poneros speaks of  evil in effect or influence, and differs from other Greek words for evil which have to do with the essential character as well as those words which speak of degeneracy. This word Poneros also is used to refer to the devil himself, and thus his influence upon others.

So what John is saying is that those who do not echo the doctrine of Christ then have to be echoing a teaching which is contrary to the Doctrine of Christ, and if you assist them in any way you are in essence assisting the devil himself.

Now. Let’s take a further look at this word Poneros as John used it in 1 John 3:12

Notice here he says, Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one (and that word for wicked one is the Greek word Ponerosagain, ands it speaks of the person of the devil himself.), and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil,

Notice that Cain’s works are said also to be Poneroswhich means that if he was “of” that Poneros one”, then the influence of that Poneros one also has affected his sacrifice to God, and thus has made that sacrifice itself evil. But notice it is said that Abel’s sacrifice was righteous.) his brother's righteous.

Now, we know that this word righteous means "rightly wise”. So we see that Abel’s offering was based upon true Revelation which is true Faith, and that is something that comes from God alone. Thus, by this Revelation he offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain.

Now, Cain’s sacrifice was not a wrong sacrifice. In fact Cain had a very Biblical sacrifice, as we see in Deuteronomy 26, for it was a first fruit offering, which was a harvest offering, which represents a resurrection and Rapture offering. But it was evil because it was out of season. “For without the shedding of blood there’s no remission of sin.” Hebrews 9. And this is where the crux of  the problems lays right here. Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of Sin, so the blood is essential and we are told by God's prophet William Branham that it is no longer the physical chemical of the blood but the Life that was in that blood which came back in the form of the holy Ghost upon everyone who truly believes.

Token the 64-0308 P:19 He had to come down in order to take away sin. No one else could do it. There wasn't no one worthy to do it. No one could do it but Him, and He did it. And then when that Life was released from that body, Man, which was the Son of God... His creative power made a building like any contractor built the building that He moved into Himself. God did that. And then when that life was taken, the Blood, the chemistry of It, poured out upon the ground, just like just Abel's poured out upon the ground. But from that Blood came the Holy Spirit of God, and that was sent to man on the day of Pentecost to be identified with the Sacrifice that died for them. There's no other way in the world we can get it. A positive Token.

Token the 64-0208 P:65 There you are: Blood, the Blood, the Token. Not the Blood chemistry, but the Token, the Holy Ghost, the Life out of the Blood that comes... What does that Life do? Comes and confirms what the Token has been purchased for. The Token confirms what the Blood bought for you. The Blood purchased your redemption. The Token is an evidence of it, The Blood... He was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities, chastisement of our peace was upon Him. With His stripes we were healed. See? All Blood, Blood, Blood. Then when the Token come, it shows that you've been identified with that sacrifice. Amen. The devil can't keep you from it.

Therefore, there is no way we could come into the image of the first born son if it were not for His dying and releasing his very life that was in his very blood.

Isaiah 64: 6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and "all" our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

Now, "all" means all, and therefore nothing we do could merit anything with God, not even our own choice as the Baptists would have you to believe.

Jesus Himself said in John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

So it is not even our choosing, but His choosing that merits anything with God. For God chose us before the foundation of the world. Even before we had any chance to do good or evil. And it is not in our "believing" as we define it in our English language. Because Brother Branham nipped that one in the bud.

What Holy Ghost was given for 59-1217 P:31 Now, God gave the Holy Spirit. I got another Scripture here in John 14:12. That's a very familiar Scripture with all the people here at the tabernacle. "Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on Me..." Now, don't let that word "believeth" kinda set you back. In a nominal church, say, "Yes, I believe. Sure, I believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God." The devil believes the same thing. That's exactly. The Bible said he does. But the Scripture says in John that "no man can call Jesus the Christ, only by the Holy Ghost". You've actually, by the Scripture... (Let me stop here just a minute 'fore I finish reading.)

32 You are not converted until you've received the Holy Ghost. That's right. You are believing unto... The Holy Spirit has spoke to you, and you've publicly confessed Him. The devil has the same thing. "I believe Him to be the Son of God." So does the devil. But you're walking on towards Him. When Peter had been called and justified by believing on the Lord Jesus Christ... And in John 17:17, Jesus sanctified them through the Word, for the Word was the Truth, and He was the Word. John 1 says, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelled among us." He was the Word, so He sanctified them. He said, "Father (speaking to the Spirit in Him), I sanctify them through the Word." Himself, a-laying His hands upon them. "Thy Word is the Truth." Just merely spoke Him into existence in the womb of a woman. Oh, totally impossible for Him to be any other way than this Word of God to make Him manifest. "I sanctify them."

Now, the apostle Paul speaks of this sanctification which God foreordained us to in Ephesians 1:3  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: 4  According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

Therefore our being cleansed and made ready for the rapture comes through the Word of God and that only.

David said in Psalms 119: 9 Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed thereto according to thy word.

And also the Apostle Paul’s words in Ephesians 5: 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

And of course what Jesus spoke himself in John 15: 3 Now ye are clean through the Word which I have spoken unto you.

You see, although we could do the very same acts of righteousness as the next person, that is not what makes us righteous before God.

The apostle Paul said in, Galatians 2: 16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

And again in Galatians 3: 11 he said,  But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

And then he said in Romans 3: 28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

And again in Romans 5: 1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

Therefore as the Apostle Paul said in Ephesians 2: 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

In Romans 3: 27 we read, Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law?, of works? Nay: but by the law of faith”.

Now, back in the Book of Jude we are warned at the end-time there will be those who depart from “The Faith” and who go in “the way of Cain”. Cain was the first on earth to depart from “The Presence of the Lord”, and those that depart from the presence of the Lord will be religious just like Cain was and they will make great sacrifice to God like Cain did but their sacrifice will be considered evil just like Cain’s was.

Notice further, that Jude describes these men as not only following the way of Cain,  but notice also Jude warns us these men shall follow after the “error of Balaam and they will do it for money just like Balaam did.

Jude 1: 11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward,

Notice that they run greedily. In other words, these are greedy men. And they run after the error of Balaam because of their greed. So what was the error of Balaam that men will run after it because of greed? The error of Balaam is a message of unity. Bring everyone together for after all are we not all the same? and perished in the gainsaying of Core.

What was the gainsaying of Korah? Korah led a rebellion against Moses and said, 'we are holy too, and all the people are holy, and why do you take it upon yourself to rule over us. There’s plenty of room for more than one to rule. We are holy too".

From Brother Branham's sermon called, Does God change His mind 65-0418E P:92 Just look at it in the field today. As Balaam married into God's church a harlot--married a harlot into God's church--so is these false teachers today trying to tell you. They're going to marry every one of these organizations and these people into the old harlot of Revelation 17. They're Balaam doctrine, going around today and say, "We're just the same; we're all Christians." And priests and popes and whatevermore are all compromising and doing this. The preacher said... Even I know a Pentecostal preacher... All of them started now giving a round kosher, which means Ashtoreth, the moon god, a kosher wafer, say, "Shut your eyes and take it if it hurts your conscience." Shut your eyes? A round wafer? What does it mean? We are taking a broken body, Jesus Christ broken, not a round moon god, Ashtoreth, who Mary took the place of (and the Roman kosher's still round)... For the moon god--goddess, not god. We have a broken Kosher. Certainly. Oh.

You see it was the gainsaying of Koreh. There was something in it for him to gain from what he said. They didn’t want a One Man Message from a One Man ministry. So they rebelled using the multitudes of people to stand with them against the movement of God. And they are doing that same thing today, saying “we are five fold ministry, we got something to say as well, and so they say, “God doesn’t speak through one just one man!” And right there they separate themselves from the true Five Fold ministry who will only say what the vindicated prophet has told them to say.

God who is rich in mercy 65-0119 P:44 "But Abel by faith offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain." And, today, the Bible said in Jude, that, "They have run in the way of Cain; perished in the gainsaying of Korah." See, run in the way of Cain, building altars, building churches, denominations, making it flowery, big, more members than the rest of them; taking in things, anything that come along and that jumped up-and-down, or shook hands, or was baptized a certain way, or spoke in tongues, or run through the floor, they put their name on the book. That's right. And then turn on the real Truth that be preached, and deny it. How can it be so? Notice what a mess we were in. Notice. And the Bible said, "And they went in the way of Balaam, and perished in the gainsaying of Korah." Perished in the gainsaying of... What was the gainsaying of Korah? "Why, you think you're the only holy man? Why, God's... All of us are holy. The whole church is all that. Every... All of us get together; that's what we ought to do." That's where they perished: that. And we truly deserved it. We deserved to be that.

Notice how Jude continues to describe these false ministers at the end-time. 12  These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear

Notice he says when they feast with you, so these are those who come right into this message and start eating with us from the Spiritual Food in Due season that was laid up for us. But the message did not go out to them, they came into the Message. And then notice that Jude further describes these men by saying,) clouds they are without water.

Now a cloud without water is one without rain. And Paul calls witnesses of what took place clouds. He calls them “clouds of witnesses. So Clouds represent people who have witnessed this end-time ministry but those without water are those who are witnesses with the doctrine.

Paul spoke in Hebrews 12: 1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

Yet Jude speaks of these clouds as having no water. These clouds are without water, Therefore clouds without rain. Now, why is this so significant?  Because God said in Deuteronomy 32:1-2  Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth. 2  My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass:) carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; 13  Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.

So if these are clouds, which are witnesses, think it not strange that there are so many witnesses to the ministry of William Branham who haven’t a clue to the doctrine he taught? We are warned here in scripture and in 2 Peter of the same, as well as the Apostle Paul.

Notice here that Jude said clouds, not cloud. Now, this brings us to the fact that there are two doctrines which are predominant in this hour. The Doctrine of Christ for which if you do not have that Doctrine, you do not even have God. And then there is the Doctrine of Balaam which we are warned about that will come in among us. And notice we are warned that men will run after the Doctrine of Balaam because of their greed.

Now, the doctrine of Balaam is not that he went for money, but the doctrine of Balaam is that he tried to unite the people of God with those people who are not of God.  And in order to do that they must forsake the right way, which is God’s way.

2 Peter 2: 15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; Notice he loved not the wages, but the wages of un-right-wise-ness. In other words the wrong understanding pays. In other words, there’s more money in preaching error than truth.

Now, the doctrine of Balaam is explained further in the book of revelations. Revelation 2: 14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there (Thou hast there where? Right in the Message that’s where. Right in the end-time Church of the Living God, there are those who regard the Doctrine of Balaam because of their greed.) them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.

Now, how is it possible that the Doctrine of Balaam could come right into this message? Just the same way it came into the Pentecostal movement.

From Brother Branham’s sermon called, Who do you say this is? 64-1227 P:80 See, that's what he done to the Pentecostals. They said a few years ago, when you all start up, "You wouldn't go nowhere. There wasn't nothing to you. You'd burn out. You just a bunch of fanaticism." But every time they tried to curse you, you come right on back again. God kept revealing His Message. Down from the old Assembly, way back in the beginning, the General Council. Then He brought in when they received the Name of Jesus Christ for water baptism. Then one jumped this way, and one the other, and one went off organized this and that. God kept blessing. Now, when he seen he couldn't curse you (See?), so what's he going to do? He's going to organize you. Bring you, "Oh, we're all one anyhow. (See?) We all believe in the same God." So that's just what Balaam did. And didn't Jude warn us of this? They erred in the doctrine of Balaam and perished in the gainsaying of Korah. Doesn't Jude, the foster brother of Jesus, warn us of this in the Bible? They're like Cain, from the beginning, the hireling, the one that went to church and built churches and built a altar and sacrificed. They err in the way of Cain. They run in the way of Balaam, and perished in the gainsaying of Korah. Jude lays the whole thing out just like we're doing it this morning here before you, like we've been doing it. The whole thing lays there. 81   They perished in the gainsaying of Korah. Just think of that, how bad that was. Just to think of what that Korah... See, he said, "Now, we'll all go up to a feast. We're all one." The Moabites believed in God. That was Lot's daughter's kids. See? "We all believe in one God." Fundamentally, they were perfectly right. Watch Balaam up there, just as fundamental as any good Baptist or Presbyterian today. He come up there and there was Israel, that un-denominated... They was a nation, Israel wasn't a nation, it was a people at that time. They didn't want to go God's way after while. They wanted to be like the rest the nations. That's when they fail. But as long as they want to stay with God, all right.

82   Balaam come out, he looked down, said, "Well, my, I know one of them ministers married another man's wife." All these other things, oh sure, they had plenty. He forgot to hear The Shout of the King in the camp. He never seen that smitten rock, and that brass serpent hanging there for an atonement. He didn't realize that they wasn't hooked up to any organization. They was hooked up to God's covenant, and were walking in that. See? And Balaam said (fundamentally), "Build me seven altars." That's what Jehovah required. That's what Jehovah got on both sides. "All right, put seven calves upon it." That's what they was doing down there in that camp. "Put me seven rams on it because there's coming a Messiah someday." All right.

83   See, fundamentally, they were both right: fundamentally. See? But one day when he seen he couldn't get him on that, he said, "If we just organize ourselves together then." And that's where they made their mistake...And that's just exactly where Pentecost made its mistake, when it organized back like the rest of the churches. I'm not your enemy. I'm your brother. Some of these days you're going to find out that that's the truth. May take a little while yet (few turns of the sun), but someday you'll see that that's right. Then Balaam's doctrine hit them just... That's what they wanted. "We're all one." See? So there they went. All of their prophets and all went right with them. And was at the feast, the same said, "And we all believe that there's one God. Let's believe it." Just what they would been looking for, just exactly.

31 years ago brother Vayle warned me that false teachers had come into this message to take the people away from The Faith. He told me to read 2 Peter 2 from the Wuest translation.

2 Peter 2:1  1 But as there arose false prophets also among the people, even as also there shall be among you false teachers who will be of such as to bring alongside of true doctrine destructive heresies even denying the Lord who purchased them, (that’s the Son of God) bringing upon themselves swift destruction.  2 And many (not a few, but many) shall follow  their licentious conduct to its consumation; on account of whom the way of truth will be reviled. (In other words, by what they do and teach shall bring the real truth which is the message into disrepute or a bad reputation. These men will come into the Message and give a wrong understanding of the Word of God and the people will be caught up into what these men say as evil interpreters of the Word of Truth.

3 And in the sphere of covetousness (We all know what that is. It’s the greed that Jude said was the motive behind the doctrine of Balaam. So for money) with fabricated words they will exploit you, (those are words that they just make up, which are nothing but lies, and so with their lies shall they) from whom: for whom from ancient times their judgment has not been idle.

Now notice verse 12 But these, as natural brute beasts,(in other words they are not born again. They have not God. Therefore they have not the doctrine of Christ. And they are) made to be taken and destroyed,(and it is these men who will) speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;

Now, remember, at the end time there will be a vast influx of these evil men. They shall wax worse and worse as Paul warns us.

In 2 Timothy 3: 13 But evil men (“Poneros men. Now, if the devil Himself is called “poneros”, then these are his children or offspring. "But evil men and seducers" and isn’t seduction the method that the serpent used on Eve. Now, seduction is not rape. It is not a forced thing. It is a very cleverly disguised way to get what they want, and it is called seduction. And these  "evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived." Or able to deceive because they too have been deceived themselves so they appear to be very sincere in what they believe, and they are very convincing to others to come together and the larger the group the better for they believe that safety is in numbers.

But we can be thankful because as God’s seed we have been given an ability to be able to understand according to John 1:12 and 1 Corinthians 2: 1-10. That is why the apostle Paul can say in Hebrews 5:14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

And we see the same thing in Malachi 3;16-18. 16  Then they that feared the LORD spoke often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name. 17  And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels,

Lamsa translation In that day when I come to assemble my people; and I will spare them, as a man spares his own son that serves him.

So we are looking at a relationship between father  and sons here. And because we are sons we know as we are known, and we will know the difference between righteousness or Right-wise-ness and that which is error.

18  Then shall ye return, return where? To where you began at. The starting point. And where was that? When we were in Christ before the foundations of the world. In other words, we will return to the Original Word. And you can not return unless you were there to begin with. And when we have returned to the Original Word, we shall

Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serve God and him that serves not God.  Now, you must understand what is rightly wise in order to be able to discern between what is rightly wise and what is not. And you can only do that if you are filled with the holy Spirit according to 1 Corinthians 2.

And that is where we are at this evening. Ephesians 4;14  That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

And just remember, it is not of your doing, but His doing that counts. For the Apostle Paul said in 2 Thessalonians 3: 3 But the Lord is faithful, who shall establish you, and keep you from evil. The Lord shall keep you from allponeros”.  He shall keep you from being influenced by the wicked one and his devises. Philippians 1: 6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

And God said that the deeds of the Nicolaitanes (which was in the Ephesians), over in the little church of Pergamos became a doctrine, and said it was a doctrine of Balaam. And Balaam was the one who taught Israel to go over there and commit fornications, or they committed fornications with Moab, which was a lukewarm church member, or the common church, the great organization. And we find out that God said that Nicolaitane doctrine which put all the power up in a church and set it aside and make it an organization, He said, "You hate it, and I hate it too." He just keeps saying, "Hate it. Hate it. Hate it." And it's come into full swing here. See how the church squeezed out, right up here till just a little bitty thing, and that's the church we're on now.

And today that doctrine of Balaam opposes the doctrine of Christ because the doctrine of Christ establishes a true relationship between God and His Seed, but the doctrine of Balaam opens it's doors to every seed. Notice once again, we see it is the doctrine, always the doctrine. The Doctrine of Christ which hates organization, or the doctrine of Balaam which loves organization. They hate God's Doctrine, and God hates theirs. Which one will you stand with this morning? That is the real Question we must ask ourselves.

Revelation 2: 14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.

Now, you will either receive the doctrine of Christ and walk alone like Jesus did, like Paul did, and Like William Branham did, or you will take the doctrine of Balaam and flock to where the majority of people are. Now, when you see such going on in this Message that ought to tell you what spirit is behind that church. Just look at their doctrine? Either they have the doctrine of Christ or the doctrine of Balaam in this hour.

Jude 1:3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort [you] that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. 4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. 5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. 6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. 7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. 8 Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities. 9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee. 10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves. 11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain,

And what is the Way of Cain? It is to have a word which is out of season. Your sacrifice, which is what has been revealed to you, and that which you give back to God, is out of season) and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward (Notice the error of Balaam was for reward, and there are three things that will destroy a man, "money, Popularity and women", and Balaam wanted to be popular, and he did what he did for money, for a meal ticket), and perished in the gainsaying of Core (And what was the gainsaying of Core? He did not believe nor did he understand vindication, that God uses just one man, and that God was present to vindicate that the man had a message from God Himself..

12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water (That's Deuteronomy 32:1 the rain of God is His Doctrine, and these are without rain, therefore without water, or doctrine.), carried about of winds (because they have no strong doctrine that they hold to, they are driven like the wind, and the winds of doctrine take them all over the place, and because the Word has not been revealed they try to use simple mental prowess to figure out the Scriptures and quotes and they do it to their own destruction.); trees whose fruit withereth (what fruit, what teaching they did have dies out, dries up and they perish), without fruit (In fact they no longer are capable of holding onto any teaching and are left without teaching, without fruit which is the teaching of the season), twice dead, plucked up by the roots; 13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars (As Brother Branham said, they wander because they wonder, therefore they are not only wandering stars, but wondering stars, wondering about this and wondering about that), to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.

And that means that they have shut off the light for ever, and are completely without a clue.  So we see here that the real test at the end-time will be whether we remain in the Doctrine of Christ or whether we go out from it and are tempted with the Doctrine of Balaam.)

Let us pray...
