Faith no 17

Manifestation by the Light

July 16, 2017

Brian Kocourek, Pastor

Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

let us pray...

For the past three services we've been looking at the thought of Standing Fast in the Faith that was once delivered to the Saints. And we have shown that The Faith is The Faith of the Son of God, Standing fast in the same revelation he had concerning his relationship with His Father God. And as the Apostle Paul said in Galatians 2:20 it is by The Faith of the Son of God, his revelation that Christ the anointed Life of God was now living in his flesh, and with that same revelation we now stand.

Remember, at the River Jordan God entered into His Son and took over living his life for him to the place The Son was willing to lay down his life in the flesh in obedience to the calling he was called with from before the foundations of the world.

We see this evidenced by Jesus prayer in Gethsemane where minutes before he had been pleading for God to take the cup from him, but now totally surrendered to the Father he said those most notable words, "not my will but Thy will be done."

We see this in Luke 22:42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.

Now, the Scripture tells us in 2 Timothy 3:16 "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, (the word inspire means to breathe, therefore the Word of God is God breathed, and of course if it comes forth from His own Mouth then it is God breathed) and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17  That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Notice then that all Scripture is for our edification and for our building up so therefore the same must be said of what has been brought to us in this hour, since it is the Revealed word for the hour  and God down Himself with a Shout, to bring to pass what He had promised for this hour and its elect in this day. Then if all scripture is God breathed and therefore given for a purpose, and we just read four of those purposes, then what then can be said of that Word when it has been revealed and interpreted?

From his sermon 74  Going Beyond the Camp brother Branham said,  "for He dwells only in His Word to confirm It. The Bible said that He watches over His Word to confirm It.

And again from his sermon The Presence of God unrecognized brother Branham said, "working for this one purpose, for you to recognize the Presence of Jesus Christ. See? If He is present, then, why, everything is settled. He made the Word. He is here to confirm It. He proves that He'll confirm It. "He is just the same yesterday, today, and forever."

The Apostle Paul said in Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

Now, our focus is on The Faith of the Son of God and according to the apostle John in 1John 3:1 we read, Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 2  Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

Now, there is a whole lot we can see by this verse that we read here. he is telling us not only is Jesus Christ the Son of God, and we know by this same Apostle who told us of this relationship between Father and Son in the Gospel of John that the Faith or revelation of the son of God was that Jesus knew who he was, and He knew that the father was living in Him, and what this same apostle John in telling us here in 1 John 3 is that we also are sons, and "we shall be like him", and having this same revelation of Father and Son, we know it also is Father and sons, and the same God-life that was in the Son is in us as sons, and therefore we shall be like the first born son. And he says when this revelation breaks within in us, we will begin to do something about it.

He says in verse  3  "And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as He (son of God) is pure."

So we are talking about pure what? We are talking about Pure Son of God seed, that's what.

And the Apostle Paul tells us the same thing in Colossians 3:4  When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. In Doxa, in the same opinions, values and judgments.

Notice the apostle John had spoken to us of the great Appearing of Christ and how we were to appear with him and be like him. Now in Colossians the apostle Paul tells us at this same Appearing of Christ that john is referring to, not only will Christ be our Life, but also how at this Appearing we will also appear with Him in Glory.

Notice this word appearing was translated from the Greek word phaneroo and it means to be revealed in ones true character. So the word appearing speaks of a revealing, and the word reveal means "to manifestation or make known that which was hidden.

Now, let's go back to what Paul said right before this in Colossians 3:3  For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

Then in verse 4 he tells us the reason we are hid with Christ is that Christ is our Life. And as we found out a couple weeks ago, this word hid Paul spoke of here in the Greek was the word krupto which means to be covered over.

So the fact that our life is covered over by the life of Christ is what hides us in God. But then in verse 4 he tells us that this life that has been covered over by the Life of Christ will manifest when the life of Christ also manifests. And when is that? At the Appearing of Christ, which is the Parousia of Christ. And when is that? When the Lord descends from heaven with a shout, voice and trump of God.

Then when we appear or begin to reveal who we really are, sons of God living by the same revelation of sonship as the first born son did, then Paul says  5  Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; and then he goes on to list what these are.

Now this is the same as what John had said in 1 John 3:3 "And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as He (son of God) is pure."

The Apostle Paul tells us to mortify the deeds of our flesh which means to kill them off, and John says purify yourself as he is pure. They are both talking of the same thing will take place within our mortal flesh when we come to the revelation of of who we are as sons of God.

In his sermon The Spoken word original seed 62-0318M 87   Brother Branham sas the very same thing.  "See, the spoken Word... Then we are God's Word made manifest. That's how God wants His church: is to manifest Himself. How can He manifest Himself unless His Own Seed is in that person?

Then brother Branham asks a most important question. He says, "How can you use your own thoughts and God manifest Himself through you? How can you take your own belief and say, "Well, my pastor teaches... My creed says that this... days of miracles..." How you going to do that and then be a manifested son of God? How you going to do it?

And then brother Branham nails down their unbelief and says, "The death of Jesus wasn't nothing to you. "Oh, I accept Him as my Saviour." You don't. You say you do, but you don't. Your works proves what you are. Jesus said the same thing. "If you think I am illegitimately born..." They said, "We're Abraham's son and need nobody to teach us." Said, "If you was Abraham's children, you'd know Me." See? Said, "Which one of you condemns Me of sin (unbelief)? Show Me one thing that God promised of Me that ain't fulfilled. Show Me one thing that the Father promised that I haven't fulfilled. (Sin is unbelief.) Let's see you produce it then." That de-horned them. See? Certainly. Said, "Who's accusing Me? Who can condemn Me with sin (unbelief)?" See? "If I don't believe, then why is the Father doing through Me like He's doing--every Word that He promised? Now, let Me see where you got it in yours."

No wonder they say, "we don't have to do the works of Christ," because they can't do the works of Christ, because you've got to be God seed to do the works of God.

The Spoken word original seed 62-0318M 88 Who is illegitimate born then? They were. Illegitimate children professing to be God's... Jesus said, "You are of your father, the devil, and his works you do." What kind of works did the devil do? try to hybreed the Word of God through Eve. That's exactly the same thing that these big denominations do today. The works of the devil, their father, they do. They're trying to take a creed and breed it with the Word of God. That's what Satan done in the beginning, the father, the devil. God bless you, brethren. Come out of it. Jesus said so. You've got one little scratch of God in you, you ought to look and see that. Hybrid.

The Spoken word original seed 62-0318M 89 The works that Jesus did. if a man has the Seed of God in him with the Spirit of God watering that Seed, the same works that Jesus, was manifested in Jesus, Him being the original Seed of God, His death brings you back to the original Seed of God, and if the same Spirit that was within Him is in you, then the same works will be manifested. You don't believe that? All right, let's turn over to Saint John 14:12.You say, "I'm a believer, Brother Branham. I sure am a believer." All right, I'm going to see if Jesus would call you one, see if the Word of God calls you one... Verily, verily,... (absolutely, absolutely)... I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go to the Father.

Notice here, brother Branham is telling us the proof whether you are a believer or not is not what you say you are but the very fact that the works of Christ are being done in you as they were done in him. Why? Because it's the same seed and if the same seed then the life and manifestation of the seed must be the same. That's what The faith of the Son of God is all about. Having the same revelation, and it will produce the same results in you as it did in Him.  Notice in the next paragraph, that is exactly what brother Branham says, ...

The Spoken word original seed 62-0318M 90   What is it? Same seed. Can't keep... How can you plant wheat here and wheat here and say, "I'm going to get cucumbers here and wheat here?" You can't do it. The only way you're going to get cucumbers is plant cucumbers. If you hybreed it, then it won't be a cucumber. It'll be a hypocrite. Is that right? It'll be a hypocrite, friends. You've got to say it. It isn't neither one. Isn't cucumber or what you bred it with. It's a crossbreed, and it is a bad product, and it's dead in itself, and it can't breed itself back no more. It's dead right there--back, won't go no farther. That finishes it; that's all. But if you want a cucumber, start with a cucumber. If you want a church, start with the Word of God. If you want a Life of God, start with the Word of God. Accept the Word of God in Its fullness, every measure of It. And then that's... And if that is the fullness of God in you, then the rain that's falling will produce exactly what's in your garden. See? Then now, where's your Latter Rain coming up at? You see where that's going after while, don't you? Going over with them wild gourds that Elijah got and thought they were gourds or that school of prophets up there, that denomination they had: gathered some wild gourds and thought they were--they were peas. Oh, well.

The Spoken word original seed 62-0318M 91 Then the works will be manifested in Him are the same, for it is the same Seed Word of God. God's Son was His example Seed. And what His Life was when the Spirit poured upon Him after His baptism and the Holy Ghost come upon Him, the very Life that He produced will, that same watering Spirit of the Holy Ghost will bring forth the same kind of a Life, doing the same thing that He did; if it's the same Seed. Son of God Seed will bring forth a Son of God Seed. Now, shame on you women with bobbed hair. Shame on you preachers denying that Truth. Say, "It's all right; hair has nothing to do with it." But God said it did.

I don't thin people understand what he just said here. Notice, , the very Life that He produced will, if it is watered by the same Holy Ghost that watered that same son of God seed in him, waters it in you, then that same life in any son of God vessel will do exactly what it did in the first son of God vessel.  doing the same thing that He did; if it's the same Seed. Son of God Seed will bring forth a Son of God Seed.

I hope you understand why I see John 14;12 as so very vital to the seed of God in this hour. Because it is the beta test of whether or not you are even son of God seed.

The Spoken word original seed 62-0318M 92   See where it's at? See? That's why I believe the Word. It's a Seed. And if the rain falls upon the Seed, it'll bring forth of its kind. Now, what's the matter with these revivals? What do we do? Make a million more in '44: Baptists, Presbyterians, and whatever more, Pentecostals. But where is that manifestation of the works of Jesus Christ. "I do nothing till first the Father shows Me." Where is that kind of a Seed coming from? The Holy Spirit will water and bring forth that Seed. It's the Water to the Seed. If the Seed's been planted, that's exactly what the Water's for. If the Water falls on you, you say, "Bless God, let me tell you something, preacher. I'm So-and-so, and I don't believe in that stuff." You're the denominational. You're just an old hypocrite to start with. That's what kind of seed was planted.

Notice he said, The Holy Spirit is the water to the seed, and it waters the seed to produce the works of Christ in every son and daughter of God.

Brother Branham could not have made it any clearer than in his sermon "Questions And Answers" 172  88b 59-0628E -. where they asked him. Brother Branham,... Can any man do the works of Christ unless he was Christ? That's what it is, "Unless he was Christ?" Sure. Let's take Saint John, just a minute. Saint John the 14th chapter and I want you to look at this, now, if you can catch it right quick, Saint John 14:12, I believe it is. We'll get it right quick, and look what Jesus said about this. All right, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He," "whoever it is", "He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also." Any man, The man himself can't be Christ, but the works of Christ will follow every believer. See? He'll do the works of Christ in any man. "He that believeth in Me, the works that I do, he shall do." Not, "I shall do," "he shall do, he shall," not, "I." "But he believes in Me and has confessed his faith in Me and died out to himself and My Spirit dwells in him and he becomes a part of Me."

Now that don't make him Christ. It makes him part of Christ with the rest of the Church. All right. He is not Christ, because that would be anti-Christ, you see. He would be taking away from Christ. But he can be, do the works of Christ, any believer. All right.

Notice, he said the he that Jesus is referring to when Jesus says "He that believeth in me is (1)whoever (2) Any man(3) every believer(4) in any man(5) any believer, and then he defines the believer as someone who has confessed his faith in Christ and died out to himself and Christ's Spirit dwells in him and he becomes a part of Christ.

And then if you have died out to yourself and are filled with His Spirit then you could be (1)whoever (2) Any man(3) every believer(4) in any man(5) any believer, and you qualify to partake in John 14:12.

So I would aks you, have you died to yourself? Have you been filled with his Spirit? Are you living by the same revelation as the Son of God? Then whether you consider yourself a whoever  or Any man or  every believer or any man or any believer, whether you fit that description, you are entitled to John 14:12, so step into it, it's yours, what are you waiting for?

In 1 Corinthians 13:12 the Apostle Paul says,  For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

Notice brother Branham said in his sermon Christ is Revealed in His own word pp. 158  brother Branham said, So we see the evening Light's here. And what does it do to have light, if you don't have any eyes to see how to get around in it. (Now, that is a very good question. because what good is the promise to you if you do not accept it is for you. If I give you a gift of a bicycle and you don't accept it, then it won't do you any good.

And if we have a promise to be conformed to the image of the first born son but we think that is for someone else then we will never conform. If we think the promise to manifest as sons of God is for the future then it will alway be outside our grasp. But if you believe that God is the I AM then you don't look down the road for his promise to be fulfilled, you look for it right now.

Brother Branham said the same thing in his sermon World again falling apart 63-1127 P:49 Notice he said, "But the church sets spiritually dead, gone, the hour's passed them. They're in a slump and hardly know what to do, one running this way and one that way. And here every promise that God made in the Bible, every one of them is laying there just as good as they ever was. It's the hour. What makes the church like this? We're in the age of the Laodicea, when she has to come this way. This is the hour for it.

And from his sermon, Anointed ones at end time 65-0725M P:168 "For it is impossible for those which were once enlightened and didn't move on with the Word as it come to pass..." They're dead, gone. "And the thorns and thistles which is nigh unto rejection, whose end is to be burned..." Is that right?

So either you are living by the same faith, the same revelation as the son of God lived by or you are not. And if you are, then you are living like he lived, and you are acting like he acted, and you are speaking what he spoke and you are doing the same works that he did or you are not.

And I have news for you, you cannot produce this in yourself, you are either born again and baptized by the same one spirit living in the same body as he is, or you are not. And if you are born again you can't help do what he did for it is the same seed life that was in him that is in you. and if you are not born again you are none of his.

And this Light is to be manifested  in this hour for Paul said what makes manifest is Light.

Ephesians 5:13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. And had the light not come we could not manifest, but the light has come to manifest all sons of God.

Isaiah 59:19-60:3 So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him. 20 And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD. 21  As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever. 60: 1  Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.  2  For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. 3  And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.

Notice that the Scriptures foretold this time when there will be Gross darkness upon the earth, but notice also this same scripture also speaks a Light to the Gentiles will be on the scene at this time as well. And the emphasis that is brought to our attention here is the Glory and Presence of the Lord Himself amongst His People.

Notice Brother Branham said in paragraph 158, he says, “The Light comes on to reveal something. Is that right? If there's something here you feel, and you can't understand what it is in the darkness, then turn a light on. It's to reveal. What's Malachi 4 to do? See? Do the same thing. What was the opening of the Seven Seals to do? What are all these denominations staggering around in this...?... It's to reveal, bring out. If you haven't got any eyes, then what's the use to reveal?

And remember reveal means to bring into manifestation. So the light is what makes manifest.

Now, look, he makes a great point here. if you haven't got eyes to see then what I'm trying to get across to you, you will never see it, which means you will never have a clue what I'm even talking about.  That’s a serious statement he is making because he is speaking about being Elect and being able to seeing something that others are not Elect to see.

That’s exactly what Jesus said in Matthew 13: 10-17 10  And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? 11  He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. 12  For whosoever hath, (echoes) to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath (echoes) not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. 13  Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. 14  And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: 15  For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. 16  But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. 17  For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

Notice he tells us he speaks in parables and in such a way, that those who are not ordained to see it will not be able to see it.

We see that also  in Acts 13:48  And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.

And we know the reason for this can be found in 1 Corinthians 2:7  But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: 8  Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 9  But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10  But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for The Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 11  For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God knows. 12  Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 13  Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

14  But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15  But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.  16  For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

Then what does that say about those who do not see what He is doing in this hour? They’re not ordained to see it, and no matter how much you try to tell them what you see is taking place since the prophet has left the scene, they will never see it unless they are ordained to see it.

brother Branham then he goes on to say... There has to be eyes first to see. Is that right? It'll reveal Malachi 4, reveal St. Luke 17:30, St. John 14:12, also John 15:24; 16:13, and to also reveal Revelations 10:1-7, the opening of the Seven Seals and the Seventh Angel's Message, to open up, to reveal when the evening Light's come.

Now, what do all these Scriptures have in common? Is it that God sent a prophet, or is it that God Himself has come down with a Message which He reveals through that Prophet. And remember, he said, My ministry is to declare Him, that He is here!

Now, let's go back to John 14:12  one more time, because this scripture is what brother Branham said will definitely prove whether you have the son of God seed in you or not.

In order to understand it we must go back to a few verses earlier to catch the thought that Jesus is bringing forth. Verse 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by meNotice he did not say but through me, but he said no man can come unto the father but by me. and that is the key because then he says,  7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. 8  Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.  9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?   10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake Now, notice that Jesus has just gone on to explain the revelation of Jesus Christ hwo God was in Christ, and that is how the works are done, because it isn't the vessel doing it, but the Father that is using the vessel that is performing the works. Then he says  after all that, 12  Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

Now, Christ Revealed in his Own Word pp 159 he says,   “Now, if a man... In the Laodicean age the people were what? Naked (Are they?), blind. What good does light do to a blind man? If the blind leads the blind, don't they all fall in the ditch? Naked, blind, and don't know it. Even their mental faculties are gone, their spiritual faculties of mental, spiritual understanding. See? Heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God, truce breakers, false accusers, incontinent, and despisers of those that are good, having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof (The power of revelation, they don't even believe in it. See?)... They don't believe in such things as prophets, and so... They don't believe in it. They believe that Malachi 4 is to be a certain church or certain organization. When he come the first time he was a man. When he come the second time with a double portion, he was a man. When he come in the form of John the Baptist, he was a man. See? In the last days when the evening Lights begin to shine, eyes will become open and you'll see where you're going. Then the Body is already formed, standing upon it's feet, taking motion, moving by the Holy Spirit. What? The same One that moved upon the prophets that wrote the Bible, the same Holy Ghost moving in a Body, filled with the Holy Ghost, moved in the Holy Ghost out of every organization and every kindred, tongue, and people.

Let us pray
