God’s Only Provided Place of Worship # 3
Will there be another Revival
Sunday Morning
November 13, 1994
6 GOD'S.PROVIDED.PLACE.WORSHIP - SHP.LA - V-7
N-4 - 65-1128.1M Now, there's... I was... getting pretty old,
and I thought, "Will I... Will
there be another revival, I will see another time?" And just
remember, from the west will come a white horse rider. We will ride this trail again. That's right. Soon as we’re
about ready. It's a promise, you see.
I believe this is a serious
issue that we must deal with, because if we do not understand what is going on
now, then we can not have the rest we are promised. Now, all the mysteries have been revealed, right? Then this
thought of whether there will be another revival or not has been cleared up for
us. But remember every answer is in the book.
1 Peter 1: 3 - 7 We are to receive the trial of our faith which is a revelation,
but since it is revealed to us and the revelation is what is being tested, then
we already have the answers.
Wuest: 1 PETER 1: 6 - 8 “In
which last season you are to be constantly rejoicing with a joy that expresses
itself in a triumphant exuberance, although for a little while at the present
time if perchance there is a need for it, you have been made sorrowful in the
midst of many different kinds of testings in order that the approval of your
faith, which faith was examined by testing for the purpose of being approved,
that the approval being much more precious than the approval of Gold which
perishes, even though that gold be approved by fire testing, may be discovered
after scrutiny to result in praise and Glory and Honor at the time of the
Revelation of Jesus Christ.”
So we see the test is given
in order for an approval to be given. Why?
Because not only is this test a test of our Faith which is the
revelation of Jesus Christ that we have received in this hour, but if it is
truly revealed, then we have the answers.
Habakkuk 2: 1 Not, I shall answer, but I
will listen to hear what answer I am to give. If you are given a test and the
one testing you tells you what the questions will be on the test and then also
tells you what the answers you should
reply, then how can you fail the test.
Revelations 10: 1 - 7 He has come down with the book open. Then the trial of our faith
is an open book test. And since time shall be no more, this is not a timed test. We stay here till
we pass.
Habakkuk 2: 2 - 3
1 Peter 1: 13
Hebrews 4: 9 - 11 Study to
enter into His rest.
Wuest: 1 PETER 1: 6 - 8 “In which last season you are
to be constantly rejoicing with a joy that expresses itself in a triumphant
exuberance, although for a little while at the present time if perchance there
is a need for it, you have been made sorrowful in the midst of many different
kinds of testings in order that the approval of your faith, which faith was
examined by testing for the purpose of being approved, that the approval being
much more precious than the approval of Gold which perishes, even though that
gold be approved by fire testing, may be discovered after scrutiny to result in
praise and Glory and Honor at the time of the Revelation of Jesus Christ.”
Now this test is to test the
revelation we have received. And it has to deal with the Revelation of Jesus
Christ. And a test is always given out to test the persons understanding. A
test is an examination, experiment or trial used to prove the value or ascertain
the nature of something. That is why we see the nature is predicted by God to
come forth in Praise, Honor and Glory. And what is this particular thing that
is being tested. The scripture says it is our faith. And Br. Branham taught us
that Faith is what? A revelation. And doesn’t this scripture tell us what
Revelation we will be tested on? It says, this test will come at the time of
the Revelation of Jesus Christ. So we will be tested by God as to whether we
understand the Revelation of Jesus Christ. In other words, Godhead. Now I could take a whole sermon on the
importance of understanding the Godhead and what it does for you, but then I
would be deviating from this subject matter that we find in this paragraph of
Br. Branham’s.

GOD'S.PROVIDED.PLACE.WORSHIP - SHP.LA - V-7 N-4 - 65-1128.1M Now, there's... I
was... getting pretty old, and I thought, "Will I... Will there be another revival, I will see another
time?" And just remember, from the west will come a white horse rider. We will ride this trail again.
That's right. Soon as we’re about ready. It's a promise, you see.
And so we shall examine this
thought here about Revival. We all long for a revival to sweep us off our feet
and into the arms of Christ. I believe that is a feeling we all have. But Br.
Branham asked a very important question here. Will there be another
revival. So as we read in Habakkuk 2,
we must go to the same Word that asked the question to find our answer.
It’s kind of like when David
Pollard asked me back in 1981 or 82 a very pertinent question concerning the
Presence of God among us. Now remember, in 1982 the Parousia or understanding
of God’s Presence among us was not well known outside of those who associated
with Brother Vayle. So his question came from a heart that wanted to know. He
asked me this, “ If the fullness of God has come down and is here, is the body
of Jesus lifeless on the altar of God?
Now, I answered his question
like this. You see actually, I didn’t have the answer and so silently I was
praying to God for the answer. And so I thought I will just ask him a question,
( you see I was just stalling, hoping God would give me the answer) and what
came out of my mouth amazed even me because I had never even thought of it before. But I said, Dave,
I’ll answer your question with a question. “
If you can tell me with what Spirit Jesus went from Gethsemane to the Cross,
I’ll tell you it was that same spirit that is in Him now making intercession
for our confession, because Br. Branham told us that the Fullness of God left
Him in Gethsemany”.
I never realized then that
this question I asked Dave was actually God’s answer to the Revelation of the
Mystery of the Godhead.
.
In Luke 12: 11 - 12 Jesus said, Take no thought what ye shall say, for the Holy Ghost will teach you in that same
hour what ye ought to say”.
In Proverbs 16:1 says, the
preparation of the heart in man and the answer of the tongue is from the Lord.
In Isaiah 61: 24 He said, “and it shall come to pass that before they call I will
answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear....
That’s Malachi 3: 16 He is hearing and writing a book of remembrance of it.
HABAKKUK 2: 1 - 2 NIV “I will stand at my
watch and station myself on the ramparts; I will look to see what He will say
to me, and what answer I am to give...Then the Lord replied: Write down the
Revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. For
the Revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not
prove false, though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and not
delay”.
Now
we are looking at this revival, or this thought on whether there will be
another or not. And we were driving
home a point that the same Word source that asked the question is also that
which has the answers. Remember, He came down and has given us an open book
exam. So here are a few things Br. Branham said about whether or not there will
be another revival.
E-96
BE.NOT.AFRAID -- TUCSON.AZ -- 63-0607 And now, he sees us sitting like this out
here. The revival's over. We... here not long ago, why, the revival was
burning. And now it seems like it's kind of hard to get the church filled up.
The pastors tell me that it's hard nowadays. And the people won't go to church.
They'd rather stay home and watch television, or something. The love has gone out of their heart.
And Satan has seen us go off on this tantrum, and... went off without Jesus. And he thinks it's his opportunity. He said, "Now I will sink them. When
I've got them off, I will sink them. That's... just be the thing that I will
do. I caught them now without Christ.
They left Him behind."
That’s the problem with the
people in this message. They went off without Jesus, because they don’t even know
Who came down. Jesus is the Revival. He is “the Way, the Truth and the Life. He
said, I am the resurrection and the Life!”
E-58
AWAKENING.JESUS -- TEMPE.AZ -- 63-0117 “
about fifteen years ago we come through this country and there was a revival.
My! And you know what we're doing today? Just talking about it. The revival's over. It's been over a long
time. We're just living on the results of it, waiting.”
So
waiting for what? What must we wait for? Remember. When we are in a position
where we are not sure or we just don’t know, we can not be at rest. So we have
got to know what this waiting is all about. Then we can sit back and watch and
wait. Looking for the thing we are waiting on. Because the word wait suggests a
looking for. Then you must know what you are waiting for or it could come and
you would miss it. So, would anyone like to take an uneducated guess as to what
He says we are waiting on?
E-7 THEN JESUS CAME AND
CALLED 64-0417 We wonder why the revival's not going on
right now, why we don't see the enthusiasm with the people. I don't know why,
but let's just think. What if it's like this? Maybe there's a little boy in
here tonight, or a little girl, was born over in Seattle, Washington. Now that
book holds her name. He come to redeem
whose name was on that book. "Redeem"
means bring back from where it fell from, and in the human race she was fell.
And she can't accept it now--she's too
young. So the church will slug right along, just play along. We will have
meetings, and so forth, till that last person is brought in. Then that book is
closed. There's no more added. Then it's all over until... When that time will
be, none of us knows, but let's just keep doing all that we can to his glory
until that time is over.
What
an answer. We are simply waiting for that last one to come in and be child
trained. Could it be one of the little one here this morning? I hope so.
155 CHRIST REVEALED IN HIS OWN WORD
65-0822.1M Now, let's take John--or St. Luke 17:30 and
watch what Jesus prophesied there, saying that, "As it was in the days of
Sodom, it'll be the same..." Now remember... Notice. This is at the time
that the Son of man would be revealed, the revealing of the Son of man. Now,
the Son of man was actually revealed potentially just for a few moments there,
just before Sodom was burned. Now, that Man was Elohim. That was God, and Jesus
is God. And God was revealed potentially right there for a few moments to talk
to Abraham in the investigation judgment, just for a little bit. The Son of man
was revealed, the Son of man Elohim. Do you see it, church? The Son of man,
Elohim, was revealed just for a few minutes, for the very next morning she was
burned. When? Before the sun could come up again. So there can't be no
organization left, neither can there be
any further advancement than what’s going right now, for she will burn
before the day breaks again. The
revival's over across the nation. There ain't going to be no more revivals.
Big sweeping revival, this nation will never receive it. You might have intellectual
gathering, but I mean a Spiritual
revival. We're seen all of it. I hope you're catching it. I'm saying it in
such a way that--that I hope you get it. See? It's over. A fine minister said awhile ago, said,
"Brother Branham, if I could just have the joy of the Lord in my
heart."
156
I said, "Son, the revival's
over." See? Now, the
stabilizers is been put on the ship. Great fearful waves are out here
before us, but we know just beyond that wave yonder we're nearing the shore.
See? We're nearing the shore. Just stay
stable. Just stay in the Word, stay with God. No matter how you feel, what
anything else, stay right with the Word. Let--let--let it stay stable. When
you see all these great big old clouds around us, and storms a-coming, and
atomic bombs, and everything else they're talking about, but our stabilizer is
right straight in the Word. God said it would be here; and we will crest every
one of them. Yeah! We will go right over the top of them. Yes, indeed!
They--they can't sink us; they can't drown us. You put us in the grave; we will
come out again. That's just all there is to it. There ain't no way in the world
to keep it down there. We will crest every one of them, 'cause our great Chief
Captain is calling at the other side. We're
anchored in Jesus, The storms of life I
will brave; I've anchored in Jesus, I
will fear no wind or wave;
157 Whatever
it might be, let it come, what may, what it will, doesn't make any difference,
we're anchored right there in Jesus. If I live, I will live to the glory of
God. If I die, I die to the glory of God. I--I--I just want... Just--just
to the glory of God is what I want to do. When that's all over, I don't want to
stay any longer. I want to go to where--to my reward that He bought for me, not
what I earned, but what He bought for me, what He give to me by His grace.
158
So we see the evening Light's
here. And what does it do to have
light, if you don't have any eyes to see how to get around in it. What
is the evening Light? The Light comes
on to reveal something. Is that right? If there's something here you're
feeling, and you can't understand what it is in the darkness, then turn a light
on. It's to reveal. What's Malachi 4 to do? See? Do the same thing. What was
the opening of the Seven Seals to do? What are all these denominations
staggering around in this...?... ? It's to reveal, bring out. If you haven't
got any eyes, then what's the use to reveal. There has to be eyes first to see.
Is that right? To reveal Malachi 4, reveal St. Luke 17:30, St. John 14:12, also
John 15:24; 16:13, and to also reveal Revelation 10:1-7, the opening of the
Seven Seals and the Seventh Angel's Message, to open up, to reveal when the
evening Light's come.
159 Now, if a man... In the Laodicean Age the
people were what? Naked. Are they? Blind. What good does light do to a blind
man? If the blind leads the blind, don't they all fall in the ditch? Naked,
blind, and don't know it. Even their
mental faculties are gone, their spiritual faculties of mental--spiritual
understanding. See? Heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasure more than lovers
of God, truce breakers, false accusers, incontinent, and despisers of those
that are good, having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof (the power of revelation they don't
even believe in it. See?)... They don't believe in such things as prophets, and
so... They don't believe in it. They believe that--that Malachi 4 is to be a
certain church or certain organization. When he come the first time he was a
man. When he come the second time with a double portion, he was a man. When he
come in the form of John the Baptist, he was a man. See? In the last days when
the evening Lights and--begin to shine, eyes will become open and you'll see
where you're going. Then the Body is already formed, standing upon it's feet,
taking motion, moving by the Holy Spirit. What? The same One that moved upon
the prophets that wrote the Bible, the same Holy Ghost moving in a Body, filled
with the Holy Ghost, moved in the Holy Ghost out of every organization and
every kindred, tongue, and people.
