Burn every Bridge of the World

Now, tonight we're going to
have an old-fashioned prayer line. We're going to just pray for the sick the
way we use to, Brother Jack and Brother Brown.

I remember seeing Brother Brown
try to give out those prayer cards, and how him being a minister himself... And
in those days, in a organization that we... they put
pressure on him, you know, "I--I'm your brother," and those things,
you know; "You got to get me up there. Oh, he sure had a hard time, but
stayed just as true as true could be. Brother Brown is one fine man. And so we
love him.

And I see all of us, the three
of us getting... creeping up towards the age, the end. It would be a very sad thing if we didn't have placed within us that
great thing, what we know is True. We're just fixing to turn back one of
these days, back to our young manhood again, to never... our bodies
transformed, made into His likeness to stand. "For when this earthly tabernacle of our habitation be
dissolved, there's one already waiting."

And the thankful part of it,
dear friend, that the dear Lord Jesus... You who trust me to tell you the
Truth; the dear Lord Jesus, one morning about

And it helped me, because I
used to have an idea, when a person died, just their soul went off. But then when He quoted that to me, that "If this earthly
tabernacle of our habitation be... we already have one." See? And we've got to have everything in three's to
make a perfection. See? And there's one body here, then that body there which is the--the
celestial body, and then the glorified body in the resurrection. See, that
makes it complete. See? So it's a... It's not a myth, it's not an idea, it's not a spirit. It is a man and a woman like you are,
just exactly.

And then, years ago, I seen the
regions of the lost, and was there. I tell you, friend, as an old man, let me
persuade you this, across the nation this morning,
don't never want to view that place. There's no way at all that I could... if I
was an artist with a brush I couldn't paint the picture. As a minister, I
couldn't describe to you. Talk about hell being a burning
place, it's a million times worse than that, the horrors that goes with
it.

And Heaven...
or this place, wherever it was, I
don't know what to call it. He
referred to it there as "souls that are under the altar." But
when it was, I have never... There's no way to explain how great that is. There
is... Now, you just have to take my word, I'm just a man. See? But these visions that's always come to pass just as I have
told you, and you know they every one has been true, that is true also. Whatever you do, if you miss everything
else (health, strength, your eyesight, whatever it is), don't miss That.
There's nothing can compare with it. It's... There's no--there's no word in the
English language, that I know, that could express it. If you'd say
"perfect," it's beyond that; "superb," it--it's beyond
that; "sublime,"... There's no--there's no words that I know that
could express it, because it was so... And then, to think, that isn't the end of it yet. I thought, "Me be afraid to come to this?" I said, "Do you eat?"

Said,
"Not here. We don't eat here, but when we go back to earth we will receive a body we eat in."

Well, I could feel them. They was just like that. See? And they...
I said, "Well, you have..." Oh, yes, they have a body. It's just not
a myth, it's a body. We know one another. They all knowed
me, were hugging me, millions of them.
And I said, "Well, I want to see Him Who
brought me here."
It said, "You can't see
Him now, you have to wait." I said,
"Why did you put me on... up here?"
Said, "You were a leader
in life." And I said, "Do You mean all them's Branham's?" He said, "No! That's your converts to Christ."
See?
Now, I want you to lock into this thought here and when we finish
reading I would like to examine this word CONVERT that brother Branham uses to
describe these people.

I looked around, and then all the hard nights and the trials passed
away, and I could see their faces. A young woman went up there, one of the
most beautiful women, and she just threw her arms around me, and said,
"Precious Brother." And when she passed by... Now, she was a woman. So... But in there,
there'll never be sin. See, our glands are changed there. They won't raise
children no more, there. See? See, all the same.

What makes the difference, the sensation. That's the reason I don't
believe in dancing on the floor. No man... I, before God and my Bible, I've
lived clean, as that way through my life when I was a little boy, all through
my young manhood. Any girl I ever went out with, I can walk right back to the
Judgment with her. See? But there's no man, I don't care who you are, can let a
woman (in the make of a woman) hug herself up close to you; if you're a true
healthy man, there's a sensation. But it
wasn't there, there's no glands; they're all the same gland, see. Just pure, unadulterated sisterly and
brotherly love, more than it would be for your...
even for your... hug your own little daughter. See? Your own daughter, yet
she's made... she's female and you're a male. See, it could create something;
but There it can't, sin is done, it's all over. See? Real... just real, holy Love.

And I looked at that woman.
There was... looked like millions of
them there, and they all long hair, and white garments
down. And--and this One that was talking to me, said, "Don't you recognize
her." I said, "No." Said,
"She was in her nineties when you led her to Christ."

Amazing grace, how sweet the
sound! See? Just no way of ever explaining what it is.
Just take my word if you believe me. Be sure to make... burn every bridge of the world behind you.
Remember now when brother Branham saw all these
people he was told that they were his people. So he asked, "Do You mean all them's
Branham's?" He said, "No!
That's your converts to Christ." See?
This morning I would like to
look at a few statements brother Branham said here, and I wish to tie them
together in such a way by the Grace of God so as to help each of us to see
ourselves more clearly in this day and age.
#1) It
would be a very sad thing if we didn't have placed within us that great thing,
what we know is True. We're just fixing to turn
back one of these days, back to our young manhood again, to never... our bodies
transformed, made into His likeness to stand. "For when this earthly tabernacle of our habitation be
dissolved, there's one already waiting."
#2) We've
got to have everything in three's to make a perfection. See? And there's one body
here, then that body there which is the--the celestial body, and then the
glorified body in the resurrection. See, that makes it complete
#3) The Angel of the Lord told brother Branham that these people were
his converts to Christ. and then brother Branham told
us to “Be sure to burn every bridge of the world behind you”.
Now you pray for me because
it is not an easy thing to take these three thoughts and tie them together and
then bring them forth in a way which will help your understanding to prosper
and become more focused upon Christ.
Now to focus with one point
seems like it would be the easiest way to make yourself understood, but did you know
that in actuality you can not focus with only one point. The word FOCUS means
the point where many come down to one. Like in a magnifying
glass. The sun hits it with many thousands of rays on one side of the
glass, (the side facing the Sun), but because of the shape of the glass, when the rays
come out the other side they are focused down to a fine point.
How many ever used a
magnifying glass to start a fire. If you hold the glass too close to the paper,
it won’t be focused enough to start a fire, but if you hold it at just the
right angle and at just the right distance from the paper, then it will become
so finely focused that the light will intensify to the point of becoming very
hot. I know, I used to do this all the time. I would
fry ants and things.
Now don’t say I was a real
deviant kid, because I was just a normal kid. Even brother Branham lit a fire
under the turtle to get it to move. He used matches, I used a magnifying glass.
So in tying these thoughts
together, first let me word them in such a way as to focus down to just one
complete thought.
#1) It

likeness to stand. "For when this
earthly tabernacle of our habitation be dissolved,

here, then that body there which is the--the celestial body, and then the
glorified body in the resurrection. See, that makes it complete
#3) The Angel of the Lord told brother Branham that these people were
his converts to Christ. and then brother Branham told
us to “Be sure to burn every bridge of the world behind you”.
So I believe we can say that
brother Branham is telling us that it is essential that we have Truth within us in order for us to be
converted. And this conversion is a three fold process that will complete the
process of redemption.
Now the Angel of the Lord
called these people Converts to Christ. Now the word convert according to
Webster means “to
change from one form or use to another.” Now this definition on it’s
own does not really help us. But if we look to the Scriptural definition of the
word convert, we will find the word...our opening text in Psalm 51 : 13 we find the word convert as the Hebrew word shuwb {shoob}a primitive root; 1) to return, turn back : to turn
back (to God), or to repent) to bring back
1d2) to bring back, refresh, restore
1d8) to bring back to mind
Now in the new testament we find the Greek word epistrepho {ep-ee-stref'-o}
to turn , be converted, return, turn again, 1a) to
turn to; to the worship of the true God 1b) to
cause to return, to bring back; to the love and obedience of God, to the love
for the children, to love wisdom an
righteousness 2c) to return, turn
back, come back
it comes from
the root of strepho {stref'-o}
turn back or turn about and be converted metaphorically. to
turn one's self from one's course of conduct, i.e. to change one's mind
So we see here that we are dealing with a condition of the heart and
mind.
Malachi 4: 5 - 6 (read) the ministry is to
turn the hearts of the children back tot he hearts of the Apostolic Fathers.
Remember, brother Branham
said we need to be thankful that we have in us Truth that places us among those
who can repent and return to our rightful position in Christ. #1) It would be a very sad thing if we didn't have placed within
us that great thing, what we know is True. We're just fixing to turn back one of these days, back to our young
manhood again, to never... our bodies
transformed, made into His likeness to stand. "For when this earthly tabernacle of our habitation be
dissolved, there's one already waiting." This is what Ephesians 1:
3 - 17 is all about. It speaks of the way back. The
restoration. Our
returning back.
MATTHEW
MARK
That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear,
and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and [their] sins
should be forgiven them
MATTHEW 18:3 Notice the
condition we are too come back to ...children...Who’s ? His!
And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be
converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom
of heaven.
Now, how does this conversion take place? Well Faith alone won’t do.
LUKE
“Simon, Simon behold, Satan by
asking obtained
you and your fellow disciples for himself and from My power to his, in order
that he may shake you in a sieve as grain is sifted, by an inward agitation,
trying your faith to the verge of overthrow. But as for Myself, I made petition
concerning you that your faith should not be totally eclipsed. And as for you,
when you are returned to your original position with respect to your faith,
stabilize your brethren.”
Now this sounds like the
trial of our faith which we must all go through. 1 Peter 1 :
7...And is not then this trial of our faith to help us to return to our
original faith and first Love? And when
is it to occur? At the Appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ. And how does
our conversion take place?
ACTS
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out,
when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
We’ve got to repent in order
to be converted. We must let our own thinking go. We have no thought coming. Period. “Let this
mind be in you which was in Christ.”
Now brother Branham said #2) We've got to have everything in three's to make a perfection. See? And there's one body here, then that body there which is the--the

makes it complete
#3) The Angel of the Lord told brother Branham that these people were
his converts to Christ. and then brother Branham told

THREE’S ...everything in
three’s ...“there's one body here, then that body there which is the--the
celestial body, and then the glorified body in the resurrection. See, that makes it complete.”
Justification
, sanctification, and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. ... 1st pull, 2nd Pull, & 3rd pull. The
full Word restored...Body, Soul and Spirit....
total restoration. Praise, Honor and Glory...brings restoration....Faith,
Hope and Love... brings restoration
ACTS 28:27 For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull
of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with [their]
eyes, and hear with [their] ears, and understand with [their] heart, and should
be converted, and I should heal them.
JAMES 5:19 Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;

And I was just thinking a few
moments ago upon the subject of Time. And I was just thinking how that science,
how they are taking the natural man and how he's went into the research from
the fall of the natural and what he has done. And how little the spiritual man
has progressed in the

I believe the church is beginning to hear the Message, and beginning to understand. But friends, listen,
we've got to lay
in the Presence of the Son, we've got to be ripened. Our--our faith isn't ripe. Intellectually we're hearing the Message
that God has give us, and seeing the
signs that He showed us, and proving
it by the Bible as that; but, oh, how the
church needs to lay in His Presence till it tenders up in the heart, gets sweet
in the Spirit so that it can bathe down. Sometimes in speaking the
Message, you get harsh, have to break it in like that,
because you've got to clinch a nail to make it hold. But when the Church once gets It, the Elected
is called out and separated (then in the Presence of God), I know it'll be
something like the people was there when it takes its Rapture.
