God’s Only Provided Place of Worship # 30

Brian Kocourek, February 26, 1995

The Atmosphere

Last night we again began our study of this Message "God's only provided place of Worship at pp. 88 where brother Branham said,....

88 GOD'S.PROVIDED.PLACE.WORSHIP - SHP.LA - V-7 N-4 - 65-1128.1M

If I brought you a Methodist message, it would take no effect on you, this is Bride time. If Moses taught the message of Noah, it would take no effect. If Jesus taught Moses' message, it would take no effect. Because the predestinated seed are laying there that will only be watered by that type of water that's give for that seed. See? It won't grow any other condition. It must be the condition that grows it.

Now the last two messages we emphasized the last part of this pp. Where he said   ? It won't grow any other condition. It must be the condition that grows it. We again went to the Scripture pertaining to this subject and we brought out how certain conditions are necessary in order for life to grow.

̃    CONDITIONS: (Webster)     1. Anything called for as a requirement before the performance or completion of  something else. Conditions for growth are  requirements for growth. What is needed to bring forth growth.  Webster also says, anything essential to the existence or occurrence of something else. External circumstance , factor or influence.

So, as we brought out last Sunday, that all life needs food to grow. And depending on what Life form it is, will determine what type of food it needs. So if we are speaking about  Eternal Life, then we can see that we are speaking about Spiritual food.. In other wards, your body needs physical food for growth and your Soul needs Spiritual food for Growth as well.

Jesus said, "man does not live by bread alone." Because man is a tri-partite being . He has body, Soul and Spirit. And so he can not survive alone by caring only for the needs of his flesh. He must also feed His Spirit and His Soul as well.

We spoke last Sunday on the importance of feeding your Soul this Spiritual food in due season. We showed how in all of God's creation, every animal takes an active part in training up their young ones and instructing them in what to eat, and where to find their food. And yet when it comes to Spiritual Food how many people today are actively involved in their children's Spiritual Growth? How many parents show their children what Spiritual diet is important to grow spiritually and where to find this spiritual food in due season.  How many have actually taken their children into the library and went through the tapes and explained what food is in each tape. Each one has a label and how many parents have taught their children to read the labels. Our physical food has labels and we teach then to avoid foods with too much fats, and to read the labels to check out what is in the box or can etc. But what about Spiritual food. Do we really check out what we go to hear?

That's why I have take a strong stand against having a revolving door here. You must check out what you are going to feed on before you sit down and start eating. That's the difference between a Dove and a Crow. A Crow will eat anything, a Dove won't. It Can't. It has no gall. It would die if it ate just any kind of food. And so will a True Seed Gene of God. It can't stomach just anything .

Now in this PP. We read here this morning, we hear brother Branham say, "It is the conditions that determine the growth." And as Webster said, conditions are : 1. Anything called for as a requirement before the performance or completion of  something else or anything essential to the existence or occurrence of something else. External circumstance , factor or influence.  Now, let's read further and see what else he says about this.

Now, you can take a chicken egg and put it in a incubator, when it should be under a hen, but it'll hatch anyhow. Put it under a pup it would hatch. It's the warmness, the condition that makes it hatch. So it has to be under condition. You could take a good live egg and put it under a dead hen, it won't hatch. See? See, it's the condition.

 90 GOD'S.PROVIDED.PLACE.WORSHIP - SHP.LA - V-7 N-4 - 65-1128.1M

Well, that's the way it is in this age that we're living in, you've got to find what is God's way of doing it for this age. That's what Martin Luther found, that's what John Wesley found, that's what the Pentecostals found in their age. God's age and time to do it.

 91 GOD'S.PROVIDED.PLACE.WORSHIP - SHP.LA - V-7 N-4 - 65-1128.1M

Now, the Pentecostals. That brother, one... I believe his... one of his eyes was out, a colored brother who really started the Pentecostal message in California, old Azusa Street. He was laughed at, and because he was a Negro he was made fun of, but he brought a message for that age. Just a little bodily fellow that could hardly sign his own name, but the Lord had revealed to him that this was the age for the restoration of those gifts, and they come. No matter what said, it come. But everybody got in the atmosphere of it, and seen it was that age, and seen God vindicating that those people could speak with tongues, and so forth, it happened.

̃    Readers Digest :  "Not just any talk is conversation. Not just any talk raises consciousness. Good conversation then has an edge, it opens your eyes to something, it quickens your ears, and good conversation will reverberate. It keeps on talking to you in your mind even after the conversation is over. It talks to you later in the day, and the next day you find yourself still conversing with what was said. This reverberation after wards is the very raising of your consciousness. Your mind has been moved and you are now at another level with your reflections."

IS YOUR LIFE WORTHY OF THE GOSPEL pp. 151

And did you know, you are a little creator yourself? Did you know that? Certainly! You've seen people that you just love to be around. You don't know why. Just that loving type of person. Haven't you seen that? Just as kind, you like you be around them. They create that atmosphere by the life they live, the way they talk, their conversation. Then you've seen those that every time you - you shun them. All the time they want to talk about something evil and talk about somebody, and say, "Oh, my, there they come, they're going to talk about this man. All they're going to do is tell dirty jokes, or something about women, or something like that." You just hate to get around them. See? They create. Seemingly pretty nice people, but they create that atmosphere. And the things that you think on, the things that you do, the actions, the things you talk about creates an atmosphere.

Here we find where this atmosphere comes from. Your life and your conversation. He said "you create a atmosphere by the things you talk about, your conversation.

̃    Deuteronomy 6: 6 - 9   Teach them diligently to thy children. Converse about them.

̃    Phillipians 1: 17 Let your conversation ( your actions and your talk) be worthy of  the Gospel of Christ, that you might stand firm in one Spirit, with one mind, striving together for the Revelation of the Gospel.

̃    Proverbs 22: 6  "Train up a child in the way he shall go and when he is old he shall not depart from it."

You kids are only a product of what they have been taught, and we are commanded to teach them what we want them to know.

̃    John 8: 37 - 47  Here we see Jesus tell the Pharisees that they do what they see done and He does what  He sees His Father do.

̃    Phillipians 3: 20  " For our conversation ( our actions and our talk) is in heaven; from which place we also look for our Saviour, The Lord Jesus Christ."

̃    PETER 1: 13 - 15 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, ( in other words, get your minds ready) be sober, and earnestly expect to the end for the Grace that is to be brought unto you at the Revelation of Jesus Christ. And as obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former desires that you had in your ignorance, but as He that called you is Holy, so should you be Holy in all manner of conversation ( your actions and your talk).

̃    PHILIPPIANS 4:8-9 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are our, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me do: and the God of Peace be with you.

̃    Peter 3: 10 - 15    Knowing what we know and how all things are coming to an end, we should turn our thoughts to Gods Thought and be filed with His thinking.

92 GOD'S.PROVIDED.PLACE.WORSHIP - SHP.LA - V-7 N-4 - 65-1128.1M

That's what denominations does. See? God is not a author of denomination, because denomination is Babylon, and He's not the author of confusion. We see her all... You don't have to be even intellectual to see that. It's Babylon! See? Tradition (think of it), sincere people. Now, still, because they believe that, there still needs to be one sincere place where God meets.

93 GOD'S.PROVIDED.PLACE.WORSHIP - SHP.LA - V-7 N-4 - 65-1128.1M

Now notice verse 2: "Worship in the place that I have chosen." The sacrifice, of course, where they worshipped, where they sacrificed. "The place that I chose; not what you chose, what man chose. But what I have chosen, you worship in this place." There shows there's then only one place, others is vain. It must be not of your choice, but it must be His choice.

̃    Just look at their arguments they have to do things their way. Look at where there conversation

       is at.

94 GOD'S.PROVIDED.PLACE.WORSHIP - SHP.LA - V-7 N-4 - 65-1128.1M

"Well, I don't have to go to the church." Or, "You are so narrow-minded! Why, you even fuss at women about preaching, and... or women about bobbing their hair, and man about these other things. Why, you're so narrow-minded!"

 95 GOD'S.PROVIDED.PLACE.WORSHIP - SHP.LA - V-7 N-4 - 65-1128.1M

All right, you don't have to take God's Word about it, you go on out where they do that at. See? And you'll find out it's in the Scripture, so, "In vain do they worship Me." See? Jesus spoke of the same thing. See?

 96 GOD'S.PROVIDED.PLACE.WORSHIP - SHP.LA - V-7 N-4 - 65-1128.1M

That every little jot, everything, you must be faithful in. It's always the little--the little vine, the little--the little foxes spoils the vine. Sometimes you leave... It's not the big things you do, it's the little things you leave undone. Remember, a chain is only its strongest at its weakest link. "Blessed are they that do all the commandments of God, that they might have a right to enter in." Do all God said, if It said for women to have long hair.

You say... A man told me not long ago, said, "I don't preach a clothes-line religion."

I said, "Then you're not preaching the Gospel." Yeah.

 99 GOD'S.PROVIDED.PLACE.WORSHIP - SHP.LA - V-7 N-4 - 65-1128.1M

God laid it out there, He said what to do. And you either do it... That's your natural, reasonable thing. What little thing... what... the little insignificant. Jesus said, "Blessed are they that would take all the little thing, do the little thing." And a woman to let her hair grow, that's just a... why, it's just something she can do, and she won't even do that. She won't even do that.  "Oh, teach us the great things."

̃    Romans 12: 1 - 2

̃    John 3: 2 - 3

 101 GOD'S.PROVIDED.PLACE.WORSHIP - SHP.LA - V-7 N-4 - 65-1128.1M

How can you teach the great things, when you won't do the simple, common thing? Because, you see, your motive and your objective is wrong.

Song of Solomon  says, "It is the little foxes that spoil the vine"

 102 GOD'S.PROVIDED.PLACE.WORSHIP - SHP.LA - V-7 N-4 - 65-1128.1M

It's your love to God, "Lord, I don't care what You want me to do, I'm willing to do it." Then you're getting somewhere, but if you don't do it that way, the way He said do it...

 103 GOD'S.PROVIDED.PLACE.WORSHIP - SHP.LA - V-7 N-4 - 65-1128.1M

It's His choosing, "The place that I have chosen." That's where you worship with your sacrifice."

104 GOD'S.PROVIDED.PLACE.WORSHIP - SHP.LA - V-7 N-4 - 65-1128.1M

You put... Cain brought his sacrifice, Abel brought his, it depends on what place you take it into. If you take it into the place where He's chosen, it'll be all right, He will accept it; if it's not, He won't accept it. Don't care... it's the same sacrifice, whatever it is, it's still un... rejected, unless it's brought to that one certain place.

 105 GOD'S.PROVIDED.PLACE.WORSHIP - SHP.LA - V-7 N-4 - 65-1128.1M

Now we want to find out where we want to bring this sacrifice. If we could find out... We all want to go to Heaven. Don't we? And we all know we've done wrong. We all believe that Jesus is the Sacrifice. Now we want to know where to take Him, it'd be--it'll be accepted. See? That's right. The Bible tells us where to take Him at, and then it'll be accepted; outside of there, it won't be accepted.

 106 GOD'S.PROVIDED.PLACE.WORSHIP - SHP.LA - V-7 N-4 - 65-1128.1M

Let us notice here also the place that He chose for the sacrifice to be laid, the place that He chose to put the sacrifice. You can't put it on any of these gates; but the place that He chose to put it, He also put His Name in that place. See, that's what He said here. He chose to put His Name in it. Now let us search the Scriptures for this place, for that is the place where He put His Name.

 107 GOD'S.PROVIDED.PLACE.WORSHIP - SHP.LA - V-7 N-4 - 65-1128.1M

Now let's read from the text. And I had a little note laying here that I... this morning, come to me. Let's take the 2nd verse of this chapter. Now, I don't want to hold too long, on account of the people on these hookups out here. Now the 2nd verse of this 16 chapter"  Thou shall therefore sacrifice the Passover unto the LORD thy God, of thy flocks and thy herd, in the place which the LORD shall choose to put his name there."

 108 GOD'S.PROVIDED.PLACE.WORSHIP - SHP.LA - V-7 N-4 - 65-1128.1M

Now, you can't take this... your sincerity and all that you want to confess, you just can't take it to the Methodist altar, to a Baptist altar, to a Pentecostal altar, but there is a altar somewhere that He chose that He... to put His Name in it, and He would meet you at that place. Now, if you get everything running just right, it's going to run; everything's set in order. If there's a short in that wire, that light won't come on; because it's been grounded. And when you'll take one of God's Words or one of His places, and in your own heart have selfish objectives, it'll ground the power of God right there. If you do it because you want to be smart, you want to be different from somebody else, or something, right there it's grounded, it'll blow the fuse. You're wrong. You've got to come with sincerity, with all your heart. Your motives and your objectives, placed right on God. Then search for His place, find where He said, and bring it there. See?
