Notice, nothing in the Bible types the denominations but Babylon. And Babylon was founded by Nimrod, and Nimrod was a renegade. And he had a bunch of women in there, was supposed to be his queens, that was prophetess. They even think that old Balaam come from that section, they had roots and so forth. They worshipped, you know (many of you scholars that reading Hyslop's Two Babylons, and so forth, and the history of the church), and how they did. And they had women that done this, and women... a goddess, and everything, and it was a forced religion. Everybody, every city around Babylon was compelled to come to Babylon to worship under Nimrod at the tower. See? That's right. They were forced to do it, debate it. There's where the confusion come.

Now notice what brother Branham called Nimrod, He called him a renegade, and a renegade is a person who abandons his religion for another. In other words they are traitors and turn coats. And we are warned in the bible that in the last days there will be a spirit on the people that they will be traitors.

2 Timothy 3: 1 - 14 (read)

KJV This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

NIV But mark this, there will be terrible times in the last days.

NAS But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come.

Amplified But understand this, that in the last days there will set in perilous times of great stress and trouble - hard to deal with and hard to bear.

Wuest This be constantly knowing, that in the last days difficult times will set in.

KJV For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers,

disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

Amplified For people will be lovers of self and utterly self centered, lovers of money and aroused by an inordinate greedy desire for wealth, proud and arrogant and contemptuous boasters, they will be abusive, blasphemious & scoffers, disobedient to parents and ungrateful, unholy and profane. They will be without natural human affection, callous and inhuman, relentless - admitting of no truce or appeasement. They will be slanderers - false accusers, trouble makers; intemperate and lose in morals and conduct, uncontrolled and haters of good. They will be treacherous betrayers, ( Luke 22: 22) rash and inflated with self conceit. They will be lovers of sensual pleasures and amusements more than and rather than lovers of God. For although they hold a form of piety, True religion, they deny and reject and are strangers to the power of it, their conduct belies the genuineness of their profession. Avoid all such people - turn away from them.

Wuest For men shall be fond of themselves, fond of money, swaggerers, Sounds like Jimmy Swaggert. You know their is something in a name. Brother Branham said don't ever name your kids Elvis or Ricky or names like that. Well, the name Swaggert sounds like it comes from the word swagger which according to Webster means to boast, brag or show off in a loud and arrogant manner. A kind of arrogant way or walking.) and that is exactly how he is, calling brother Branham a false prophet and even so arrogant as to deny on television Election and Predestination. He had the nerve to say that predestination is a lie from the pits of hell. Then why is it all through the Bible. Why does God have Paul speak of it in so many places in scripture.

Romans 8: 28 - 30

1 Corinthians 2: 7

Acts 10: 42 & 17: 31 13: 48

Matthew 6: 8

NOW IN GETTING BACK TO OUR SCRIPTURE: these men will be haughty, revilers, and slanderers who lack self - control, haters of that which is good, they are savage, betrayers and are headstrong, besotted with pride, fond of pleasure rather than having an affection for God, these have a mere outward resemblance of piety toward God but denying the power of the same. And these be constantly shunning.

And that's exactly what the church is today, "If you don't attend Sunday school, if you don't do this, and have to hire you to do this and do this and do that, you're out of the picture."

Out there in Tucson, is listening in this morning, I once wondered... I've always constraining people, "Go to church, no matter where you go." And I seen the people kind of pulling back, and going this way. And I thought, "What's the matter?"

I went to some of them, "The first day you're there, they'll approach you, `Join our church.' If you don't do it, you're not welcome." See? See? It's a forced thing, it's forced upon you. See, and that's Babylon. But in Christ, you come in by election; not by force, your heart pulls you in. God said, "I will not put His name then in Babylon." Closely now. He cannot put His Name in Babylon, the churches. Oh, they, they put His Name in there, but He never.

Jesus said, It is not him that runneth nor is it he that willeth, but simply it's God that shows mercy." There is no forcing to it. Either God is in it or He isn't. You can't force healing, He already promised it. 'By His stripes you are already healed."

He also said, He that hungers and thirsts for righteousness is the one who will be filled. You can't force feed people. You can take a horse to water but you can't make him drink. If you try, he'll pull back and kick and hurt you. So, They have got to be hungering and thirsting on their own.

Now you say, "Well now, Brother Branham!" Wait, wait, wait, wait, you asked me stay a little longer. Asked me to stay long... Now notice, they put His Name in there, but He didn't. 208 Now, He said, "The place that I'm going to meet you and receive your sacrifice is where I choose to put My Name. You come in at this gate, this door where I choose to put My Name. There's where you come."

Look at Balaam, He forced his way into a permissive will of God. You don't come to God and try to twist his arm. You'll find yourself fighting God. Just take it as He brings it and enjoy it while it lasts. Even David, a man after God's own heart had to learn the hard way. He tried to bring the ark of the covenant up to Jerusalem and he did not consult Gods' prophet. And how many times have we tried to influence God to see things our way. That is law, not Grace. And the end of the law is death. Just let go and let God.

Well, they put, "This is the Church of Christ." If there's anything that's wrong in that declaration, it left out one word: "anti." Uh-huh, all that He taught, they disagree with It. Modern Pharisees. 210 But we must find where He did put His Name, for in It is His only provided gate. Amen! Glory! Watch! Where did He put His Name? In His Son. "Oh," you say, "now wait a minute, Brother Branham. That was the Son, not the Father. 212 The son always takes the name of his father in every case. I come to this earth in the name of a Branham because my father's name was Branham.

Jesus said, "I came in My Father's Name, and you received Me not." You want the Scripture on that? St. John 5:43. See? "I--I came in My Father's Name, and you received Me not." Then the Father put His Own Name, which is "Jesus," in the Son. And He's the way, He's the door, He's the house, He's where God chose to put His Name. God never put His Name in me, He never put It in the church, He never put It in the Methodist, Baptist, Catholic, but He put It in Christ the Anointed Emmanuel.

And the Name is in the Word because He is the Word. Amen! What is He then? The Word interpreted is the manifestation of the Name of God. No wonder... "Flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father which is in Heaven has revealed this to you Who I am. And upon this rock I will build My place of worship, and the gates of hell can't shake It down." Amen! O living Church of God, stand in firm foundation on Jesus Christ alone. You can sing the song, but if you're not on Christ the Word, you're on teetering, faltering sand. "But upon this rock," Christ, "My Word."

He built the Lutheran message and they denominated it. It was growing, the footstool. Then He growed up into the leg part, the Methodist, and so forth. There's where He built His Church, upon His Word! Now, He's not all foot or all thigh, He's a body; and now is the capping part. Did you notice in the pyramid... which I don't preach a pyramid religion, now.

But the first Bible was ever wrote, was wrote in the sky, the zo... [Blank spot on tape--Ed.]. Did you notice it? It starts off with the virgin, the first figure in the zodiac. The last figure is Leo the lion. He come first by the virgin, He comes next as the Lion of the tribe of Judah. Just before that, a cancer age, a cross fish, all the rest the ages. If we had time, we'd go through it; which we have, at the Tabernacle.

Now how is He to come in this last Day? With a shout right?

1 Thessalonians 4: 15 - 18 Now watch closely this shout.

Revelations 10: 1 - 7 but especially notice verse 3. A loud voice is what? A shout, right? And how does the shout sound? Like a Lion. And what does a Lion signify?

Amos 3: 7 - 8 So then when the Lord speaks it sounds like a lion, but it is actually the prophetic

utterance of God Himself. So then this scripture speaks of a Loud voice that is a prophets voice but is actually God's own Message.

And the pyramid being those foundations, up into the king's chamber. And just before you hit the seventh wall, there's a little introduction plank there, where a messenger comes out to bring you to the king. (The messenger John the Baptist that introduced to the King), but the Headstone was rejected. And they don't know, the Stone of Scone, or whatever it is, they don't know where it's at, because it's a rejected stone. But that's the stone that caps the whole thing, that makes it the pyramid through the complete seven church ages. Add grace, add this, add this, there's seven adds, the last one is Christ. Add this to your charity, add grace to your grace, add something else, and something else, till it gets up to Christ is the Headstone, "And I am the door."

2 Peter 1: 1 - 12 (read) The last one is Christ Himself. And since this is where we get the church age messengers from, then we see that the last age Messenger is actually Christ Himself. As brother Branham said, "you are not feeding on a man, a man his words will fail, but you are feeding on the unfailing body word off the Son of Man.
