God’s Only Provided Place of Worship # 70

Sunday Morning August 20, 1995

The Ten Commandments

Wednesday night we spoke from PP. 233 and Hebrews 10: 22 where Paul tells us that we have a true heart in Full Assurance of faith. And since faith is a revelation we then have a true heart in full assurance because of this Revelation. Now if our assurance comes from Revelation, then how much more assurance could you have than at the Revelation of Jesus Christ. And especially because you see yourselves responding to the Revelation and preparing yourselves by the Revelation.

̃    1 John 3: 1 - 2, but notice verse 3 is our response.

In Hebrews 10 : 22 the word assurance is a Greek word "Plero - phoreo"   and it used in other scriptures as,  " to fully believe",  to be  "fully persuaded",  to "show full proof" and to be "fully known".  The word actually means "to fill one with any thought or conviction or inclination and hence to make one certain. To persuade, convince and be assured."

̃    Romans     4 : 18 - 22  (read)  Abraham was Fully Persuaded although the circumstances did not look like they were in his favor. Yet God is not a God of circumstances but a God of Faith and Power.

̃    Colossians 2: 2 (read) God wants our hearts to be knit together by having a Full Assurance of understanding

̃    Thess  1: 5   Now what gives us this Full assurance except that the Word comes with power and with the Holy Ghost alongside backing it up.

̃    Hebrews 6: 10 - 12    Now you see how this ties together with what we have been trying to tell you, that your expression of the Revelation of Jesus Christ will bring forth a Full Assurance of Hope or an earnest expectation in you because you actually see the effect of the Word in your life. That's why we spent so much time on this one paragraph and thought of brother Branham's statement when he said, " My action and the vindication of God's Word in my life shows whether I'm a child of God on not."

And what we said last Wednesday night is that he is making two things clear here. It is not our actions alone for that would be works. But he is saying, " My action which is one thing,  and  which we know is a conjunction,  the vindication of God's Word in my life  which is another thing altogether,. He is telling us that these 2 things, my actions and The vindicated Word in my Life  shows  or outwardly demonstrates whether I'm a child of God or not."

So we see by all of  these scriptural proofs that our assurance comes as a result of receiving a certain understanding or a knowledge  which as brother Branham put it, when we have this knowledge and we see ourselves responding to this Revelation of Christ in our Midst, we come to the place where we just know. Everything just adds up to one thing, We possess God - Seed and therefore, God - Life in us.

Now this morning I wish to continue with this great Message of  Brother Branham's entitled "God's Only Provided Place of Worship" as we pick up at paragraph number 233 again...."My action, and the vindication of God's Word in my life shows whether I'm a child of God or not. Now, there's God's only place. See it? The only place that God will receive your sacrifice (I don't care how sincere you are) is in Christ."  Now notice how this ties with the next couple paragraphs.   234  And remember... You say, "Well, I believed I come in too." Remember, the Bible says... You say, "Well, the Bible said, `Whosoever believeth that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, is saved, shall be saved.' "  Now listen carefully as we keep reading on.

 235 GOD'S.PROVIDED.PLACE.WORSHIP - SHP.LA - V-7 N-4 - 65-1128.1M

It says that, but remember it also is written, also is written, "No man can call Jesus the Christ, only by the Holy Ghost." See? You might say "he is," but he isn't until the Holy Spirit Itself which gives Life to the Word proves it by vindication that you are the son of God. That's the Scripture.

Notice how well this fits with last Sundays Message. He says here that just because you say it, doesn't make it so, even if you are saying what is True. Now you might ask yourself  " what are you driving at preacher?  You are probably thinking, If I say it and it's true then what I'm saying  is so."  But brother Branham is telling us here that, "just because you say you believe it,  doesn't really mean that you believe it."  And that is what I'm trying to tell you. The only way I can tell if you believe it is if your life is manifesting what you claim to believe.

If Noah really didn't believe God's Message of the rain, he would not have built the ark. If Moses did not really believe God's Message of an Exodus, He would not have left Egypt with all those people. And brother Branham is telling us that the Life in the Word must take a hold of our lives or we are not even a part of the Message of this hour. That is why I hit on something as simple as tithes and offerings. Because when you know to do right and you don't do it, to you it is iniquity and it shows that you are not even born again. And you must be born again to be a part of the rapture and inherit the kingdom.  All others will go through a tribulation period.  Notice again in pp 235 he said, "You might say "he is," but he isn't until the Holy Spirit Itself which gives Life to the Word proves it by vindication that you are the son of God

 236 GOD'S.PROVIDED.PLACE.WORSHIP - SHP.LA - V-7 N-4 - 65-1128.1M

"The place that I chose to put My Name. You shall not worship in any other gate, but in the gate I put My Name in;  then I will receive you, you're in My family."   So until God accepts your Revelation, you are not even accepted by Him as part of His family.

̃    Matthew 13: 10 - 17 (read)  To Him that Hath, That "Echoes"  That is of such a nature as "to hear, recognize and act upon the Word of God."   That is the ones I have chosen to place my name in them as part of my Family. And only those who were in Him before the foundations of the world  will be of such a nature as to echo back His Word in an outward expression or manifestation.  You won't be able to help yourself.  Now, I am not just speaking some legalistic thoughts here, I am telling you what God's Prophet under inspiration of the Holy Ghost is telling you. Notice as we read further in pp 237.

 237 GOD'S.PROVIDED.PLACE.WORSHIP - SHP.LA - V-7 N-4 - 65-1128.1M

Now, the family of God obeys the order of the Father of the family. "And He is the Prince of Peace, the Mighty God, the everlasting Father; and of His dominion and reign there shall be no end, the government shall be upon His shoulders." And Him being Governor, King, Emmanuel, First, Last, Prince of Peace, the Mighty God, everlasting Father, every one of His children obey every Word to the order because they're a part of Him.

You say, I don't believe that. "Well, that just shows your an unbeliever, that's all. From page 25-1  THREE.KINDS.OF.BELIEVERS   Ahab, he was an unbeliever, though he--he act like he wasn't. No, no, he was amongst the believers, but he was a unbeliever. What did he do? He married an idolatrous, and brought idolatry right into Israel. He was an unbeliever; we know that.  They deny the whole of the Word of God to be true. The unbeliever is... See, now remember, he's a hypocrite. And he acts like--that he will... He says he believes it, but he denies it. He said, "Well, so much of it is well," but if all of it isn't right, then that makes him an unbeliever. You've got to believe every tittle and every jot, and everything that's said in there. It's got to be true. If it isn't true--if you say, "Now, I don't believe that," well, then you're a unbeliever.

967-210  QUESTIONS.AND.ANSWERS  JEFF.IN  COD  64-0823M

You go to church; don't set at home, go fishing, and hunting, and things like that on Sunday.  You say, "Well, I'm not a legalist."  Well, you'd better be in that manner for a while, dishonoring the resurrection of Christ. You go to church somewhere.

Look, How many of you who claim to be the Bride of Christ even know the 10 commandments?  Name them!

Exodus 20: 1)  "Thou shalt have no other Gods before me"... what is a god, an object of worship .  Cars, jobs, friends, family,  whatever comes between you and God is your true God.

 2)  Thou shalt not worship any graven images... worship comes from two words, worth and  ship which is the state or condition. So do not put too high of a value on anything outside  of God and God alone.  Tv's , cars, boats, whatever it is that you elevate so high.

 3)  Thou shalt not take God's name in vain....Don't call on Him when you know that you  aren't serving Him. You get right with God first and then call on Him. He even said, If a  man regard iniquity in His Heart, I won't even hear his prayer. So get right with God and  then seek Him and call upon Him. How many people make promises to God that they  will put Him first and yet where are those promises today?  He said, let every mans word  be a lie and mine be true. He said, let your yeah be yeah and your nay be nay. He also said, you will give an account for every idle word you speak.  Remember Matthew 7  where the cry out, Lord, Lord, and He says, Depart from Me I never knew you!

4)   Remember the sabbath to keep it holy....... You go to church; don't set at home, go  fishing, and hunting, and things like that on Sunday.  You say, "Well, I'm not a legalist."  Well, you'd better be in that manner for a while, dishonoring the resurrection of Christ.  You go to church somewhere

5)  Honor thy father and thy mother..............That means to obey them and respect them.

6)  Thou shalt not kill..................................Brother Branham told my father in law in a

letter that there are more ways to kill a man than with a bullet. He said, You can talk

against a person  and kill his influence with others.

7)  Thou shalt not commit adultery............... And yet Jesus said to even look upon another woman with lust in your heat you're guilty. And brother Branham added, you women that

would wear clothes that would attract another man your guilty of committing adultery

                          wit him.

8)  Thou shalt not steal................................What about robbing God? That's a double sin.

9 )  Thou shalt not bear false witness ..........

10)  Thou shalt not covet thy neighbors goods.. That's keeping up with the Joneses.   Running to the fashion mart. Trying to keep your kids in style. The Bible says "do not be  conformed to this world or the things of the world. Now that's not saying you can't dress nice. But it does mean that just because others are wearing something, you had better not  follow in their pattern. Be a leader. When I was in school, I wore what I wanted to wear and I never worried about being stylish. A leader sets the styles. Be a leader, not just like some dumb driven cattle who do whatever the media tells you to do.  Set your own fashions of holiness and purity.

̃    Matthew 5: 17 -  19 (read)

̃    Genesis 6: 3 (read)  Now look, what I'm about to say might be kind of rough, but hear me out, I'm trying to help you make it.

God will not always strive with man. One of these days soon you will have to give an account for all your unbelief. Your excuses might sound OK to your own selves but God knows what is in your hearts. He knows better than you do yourselves. I can hardly believe that people are so stupid as to keep on feeding their flesh and pandering to their lusts and somehow think that they won't reap what they are sewing. And then they wonder why their kids get into trouble and their daughters get pregnant before marriage or their boys run off with some little slut. Shame on a people who know to do right and don't do it. Shame on parents who take off for weekends and leave their kids at home to care and fend for themselves and don't even make sure that they and their kids will be in service to hear the word of God.  Your post of duty is in church with your families. Don't think that you won't reap for your transgressions.

̃    Hosea 4: 6 (read)   He says, because you have forgotten His Laws, He will forget your children.  Just keep on sewing to your flesh and watch your kids go out into this world. Death Doomed...By Who? By the parents who do not believe the commandments of God that said, Keep Holy My Sabbath!

238 GOD'S PROVIDED PLACE WORSHIP  65-1128.1M   We live in our home like Branham’s live. You live in your home, the Joneses, like the Joneses live.

 239 GOD'S.PROVIDED.PLACE.WORSHIP - SHP.LA - V-7 N-4 - 65-1128.1M

And in the House of God we live by the Word of God and every One that proceedeth out of the mouth of God, and any other, fraud, we won't listen to him. See?  Now before we go further, I just want to add this. There is a preacher who is telling his people that "under the shout the Husbands are supposed to control their families, but under the voice we no longer are responsible to control our families."  To me that man needs to be born again. Where does he get that from anyway? Show me scripture and verse. And yet you might think that he is off into lala land somewhere, but you do the same by your actions. Then who is the hypocrite? The one who says it and does it or the one who doesn't say it yet does it by your actions. He said , "in the House of God we live by the Word of God and every One that proceedeth out of the mouth of God,"

Now brother Branham continues here in pp. 239 by saying, "You shall eat unleavened bread, every church age, just as I give It to you." But don't try to go back and inject that over into This, because it's come into a stalk. "You shall take the bones and things that's left over of the sacrifice and burn them!" Gone, the church age died, went on; we're in another one now. Amen!  240  "The place I choose to put My Name in." Oh, my! I Corinthians 12.

241  Notice Ephesians 4:30: ... grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby you are sealed until the... (next revival?)... until the day of your redemption. ... grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby you are sealed until the day of your redemption.

You say, well preacher, I am under so much stress I need to get away. Then wherever you go you had better be in church. That's your post of duty to God and to man. "Well, I worked so hard and I was to tired. "  Oh good excuse when you see God forget your kids. When you see your kids get into trouble and leave the Word of God. Don't blame anyone but yourselves. He said, You forget my Word and I'll forget your kids." How are you supposed to apply the Token when He is the Token.  You should be here every time the doors open with your kids instead of them off to some ball game. That's applying the token.

 242 GOD'S.PROVIDED.PLACE.WORSHIP - SHP.LA - V-7 N-4 - 65-1128.1M

Now notice. Let's apply that to our Scripture lesson. Then we better go, I think I'm wearing the people out. Don't you? People getting up and going home, see, 'cause they got dinner cooking. And somebody else wanting to leave, they didn't expect come down here to listen all day long. See? But look, you know the...  243  Ben, I ought to work on you! Bless you! Thank you, Brother Ben. I love you, Brother Ben.

Pp 246  whereby you're sealed until the day of your redemption.  247  Notice! Now this might pinch just a little bit, but look (don't fall out with me) just remember.

 248 GOD'S.PROVIDED.PLACE.WORSHIP - SHP.LA - V-7 N-4 - 65-1128.1M

When Israel once looked on that door, with that blood on the door, the name (the blood, the life), and entered in under that blood, they never went out again until they went out of Egypt.  ... grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby you go in and don't go out anymore until the day that you are redeemed out. (see?)

 249 GOD'S.PROVIDED.PLACE.WORSHIP - SHP.LA - V-7 N-4 - 65-1128.1M

Well, the Bible's always right. He puts words in there you got to place It out where It goes, to make it... make the whole picture of redemption, see. See? ... grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby you are sealed until your redemption. (till you're redeemed)

 250 GOD'S.PROVIDED.PLACE.WORSHIP - SHP.LA - V-7 N-4 - 65-1128.1M

You're sealed in there, you're beneath the Blood. You don't go out no more. And then what are you? God's son in God's family, sealed in by the Holy Spirit. The Devil couldn't get you if he had to; for you are dead, your old husband part is dead; and you are buried, and your life is hid in God through Christ, and sealed by the Holy Ghost. How's he going to get you? How you going to get out? You're there! Glory! Now I will leave that alone; just enough so you'll know what I'm talking about.

 251 GOD'S.PROVIDED.PLACE.WORSHIP - SHP.LA - V-7 N-4 - 65-1128.1M

Then a new creation, not to a denomination but to the Word. You're a creation of the Word. Because the foundation stone was laid in you before the foundation of the world, predestinated to be sons and daughters of God.

 252 GOD'S.PROVIDED.PLACE.WORSHIP - SHP.LA - V-7 N-4 - 65-1128.1M

And upon this come stone upon stone, in each age, to vindicate that Word that's coming up, just exactly as Jesus did in His age, which is the Capstone of it all. In Him laid every age. In Jesus was Moses. In Jesus was David. In Jesus was the prophets. Is that right? Look at Joseph, sold for almost thirty pieces of silver, throwed in, supposed to be dead, taken out, went and come to the right hand of Pharaoh. Look, exactly, Jesus was... Joseph was in Jesus.

 253 GOD'S.PROVIDED.PLACE.WORSHIP - SHP.LA - V-7 N-4 - 65-1128.1M

And when He come, He was the fullness of the kings, prophets (hallelujah), the godhead bodily rested in Him. He come to redeem out of there a Bride, a Masterpiece. A Masterpiece that says to Satan that...

 254 GOD'S.PROVIDED.PLACE.WORSHIP - SHP.LA - V-7 N-4 - 65-1128.1M

When he says, "Days of miracles is past. There's no such a thing as these things you're talking about."

 255 GOD'S.PROVIDED.PLACE.WORSHIP - SHP.LA - V-7 N-4 - 65-1128.1M

"Get thee behind me, Satan." See? See, a Masterpiece standing and a-guarding.
