Your Doctrine declares Who you are

Wednesday evening we began looking at pp 256 and we could only get as far as the first sentence of this pp. Because it is so filled with Heavenly food that it would be virtually impossible to cover it in one sitting. For the next few minute we shall recap Wednesday, because I want you to see this great thing Brother Branham is telling us here.

256 GOD'S.PROVIDED.PLACE.WORSHIP -- 65-1128.1M Sometime the Capstone will return, the head of all of it, and receive the Bride unto Himself; Now, as I said, there is an awful lot that is said here! But by God's Grace we broke this down and took it to the scriptures. Brother Branham said, "Sometime the Capstone will return, the head of all of it, and receive the Bride unto Himself;" And we found that this statement consisted of 5 points.

I) Brother Branham began by saying, "Sometime" - and so we found ourselves looking at this to mean a specific time or season for something to happen, " some...time''' at some time...and that something to happen is... II) "The Cap Stone shall return" III) "In order to receive Something" and that something is called ... IV) "The Bride" and where is this Bride going to be received? V) "To Himself" And that is the focus of the Message. "To Declare Him, that He is Here!"

So let's begin with our first point in tonight,... I) The word... "Sometime", He said, "Sometime", In other words, we are looking at a specific time or season for something to happen. [ Ecclesiastes 3: 1] "to everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven:" but we were not interested in every time for everything. More specifically, we were interested in knowing a specific thing with a specific time or season. So then, we found that the season must have earmarks or marks of distinction. Like we see in Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. Each of these seasons have earmarks or specific characteristics that we are aware of and that we know and of which we use to identify the season we are in. So we see, that the characteristics identify the season.

And so we found in examining [ 1 Peter 1: 5 - 13] that there would come an season which is epochal and strategic in it's nature according to the Wuest Translation].In verse 13 we read "Wherefore, gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the [Grace ] that is to be revealed [unto You] at the Revelation of Jesus Christ." Notice here, we see that a season of Grace is to come at the time of the Revelation of Jesus Christ. And what does this Grace do? It identifies the Revelation of Jesus Christ! Grace, then will be an earmark of this Message or this Revealing of Christ. Now, the season is very important to us, and we must know and understand what season we are in, because each season has specific earmarks, identifiable characteristics, or what we shall call fruits. Each season has specific fruits that will come forth and you must know what season you are in so that you will know what fruits to expect. Strawberries are harvested in June, so if you were to look for them in October, you will miss out on the strawberry harvest. Just the same as Apples are best harvested in September or October and if you look for them in June you will not be too satisfied with the fruit that you find. You must know what fruits are to accompany each season and then you plant accordingly and you also harvest the same manner.

In examining [ Psalms 1: 1 - 4 ] we found that God likens man to a tree that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; but it also tells us that the ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away." The scripture tells us we must have the right fruit for the right season. [ Matthew 7: 16 - 20 ] Ye shall know them by their fruits!. And what are these fruits Jesus is talking about? Well, we know that Jesus said, " As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he, and out from the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh" Therefore as a man is so shall he think and speak. Therefore his fruits show what He is just as an apple hanging on a tree shows what type of tree it is. When Jesus told His disciples to beware the leaven of the Pharisees, they thought he was speaking of bread, but he was not speaking of bread, he was speaking of Doctrine.

And so a man's doctrine will declare what that man is in his heart. From [ Anointed Ones at the End - Time pg. 15 ] Brother Branham said, when referring to Matthew 7, "What is the fruit? It is the teaching of the season." So we see then, that the season is all important as to what fruit is to be manifested. And since the fruit is the teaching of the season, then the teaching will identify the season as well. Right? So we see that the season has characteristics which identify it. And these characteristics that we are looking at here, is the fruit or teachings that are being presented to the people. So then, we must ask ourselves what identifiable characteristics is Brother Branham speaking of here, when he says, "Some time". Some time, what? And we follow this up with ...

Point # 2) "Some time the Cap Stone shall return." So then, we are looking at the season when the Cap Stone shall return. And the Cap Stone is referred to in Scripture by the word Head Stone. [ Zechariah 4 : 4-7] Then the angel that talked to me answered and said unto me, 'knowest thou not what these be?' And I said, 'No, My Lord.' Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, 'This is the Word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, 'Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit' saith the Lord of Hosts. Who art thou, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with Shoutings, crying Grace, Grace unto it!' So we find a very peculiar thing about the time or season of the Head Stone. The people will be involved in a SHOUT! And their cry will go forth as an echo of the Shout crying, "Grace, Grace unto It!" Grace, Grace unto what? Unto It! Unto the Head Stone!

From [ Jesus keeps all of His Appointments pg. 21] brother Branham says, " As it gets closer and closer, the negative and positive are coming together, until they both become the same thing. And that's exactly when the church and the Word has to be One, like Jesus and God was One, just exactly. "God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself." And so will Christ have to be in the church, the anointed of the Word, to make everything fulfilled. And that's the Capstone that comes upon the last church age. And from [ The Paradox pp. 149 ] He said, watch, Luther - Wesley - Pentecost and the Cap Stone, when the church and Word becomes the Same. Same thing, exactly, perfectly." So we see the time of the Cap Stone will be marked by certain characteristics - and these characteristics will bring forth a shout in the people crying, "Grace, Grace unto the It!" Now, remember, Grace will be an earmark or an identifiable characteristic of the Cap Stone season.

[ 1 Peter 1: 13 ] Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the [Grace] that us to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ." That's [ 1 Thessalonians 3: 13] where it states that He will establish our hearts unblameable and in holiness in the Presence of God, even our Father, at the Parousia of our Lord Jesus Christ." So we see our holiness does not come from anything that we can do, but simply from what He said about you. Notice how Brother Branham was speaking of "a time when the Cap Stone would return." And we know what he told us this Cap Stone would do. He said, "The anointed Word which is Christ would come amongst the Bride and even enter into the Bride making her One with the Father." We find this in ... [ 2 Thessalonians 1: 7, 10 - 12] And to you who are troubled, rest with us when the lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, ...When He shall come to be glorified in His Saints, Notice how He comes in the saints. This is when the very mind of God comes into the saints.]

point #3) Which is the "Receiving or reception We get from Him." And we know that this receiving us is already taking place as He is gathering us unto Him according to [ 2 Thessalonians 2: 1 & Matthew 3: 12] Now, remember, the churches reception of Him was not so good. He was rejected and put out of the church and He is standing at the door knocking trying to get back in. He said there is a certain season in which the Cap Stone Himself shall return and receive or gather a Bride to Himself. This is what we are striving for. This is what it is all about. And how does He receive us? By bringing forth in us His manifested Word. We are gathered unto Him and He is the Word.

Now this morning I would like to continue with this pp. 256 as we shall read... "Sometime the Capstone will return, the head of all of it, and receive the Bride unto Himself; which the woman is took from the man, a part of the man. Every... Genes of the man is in the woman, that's what makes the woman. And that's the way the Word of God is in the Church, what makes the Church the Bride." Now as we begin to look at this statement, I want you to notice closely that brother Branham is giving us a little Biology lesson here. He is typing the natural with the Spiritual as he often did. And he is focusing our minds upon this thought of the Genes of God.

He says, the woman is taken from the man, because she is actually part of the man. Then he qualifies this by saying " Genes of the man is in the woman, and he again qualifies this by saying, that's what makes the woman... or in other words, " that's what makes up the woman." Now, remember he had said in the quote we read earlier From a message entitled, [ Jesus keeps all of His Appointments pg. 21] brother Branham said, " As it gets closer and closer, the negative and positive are coming together, until they both become the same thing. And that's exactly when the church and the Word has to be One, like Jesus and God was One, just exactly. "God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself." And so will Christ have to be in the church, the anointed of the Word, to make everything fulfilled. And that's the Capstone that comes upon the last church age. And from [ The Paradox pp. 149 ] He said, watch, Luther - Wesley - Pentecost and ( the Cap Stone when the church and Word becomes the Same.) Same thing, exactly, perfectly."

So we see that he is letting us know in order for the Bride and the Word to be One, if the Word was in God and the Word is God, then we must have the same Genes as God in order to be One with Him. And we find this in the scripture as we reexamine [ 1 Peter 2: 6 - 9 ] That we read Wednesday night in reference to the Headstone ministry of Christ in this hour.

[ 1 Peter 2: 6] Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, " Behold, I lay in Zion a Chief Corner Stone, Elect, Precious: And He that believeth on Him shall not be confounded. Now notice, first this Cap Stone or Head Stone was the Corner Stone that was rejected in the Alpha ministry. And also those who are Elect and believers will not be confounded or confused. And that is because they will understand. And if they will understand the Message, and He said, "My ministry is to declare Him, that He is here," Then they will have to understand Godhead, and Vindication. Therefore they will know Who it is that has come down. During Jesus Alpha ministry on earth, there were two things that caused more controversy among the Denominations of His day, the Pharisees and Sadducees than anything else. We also found during Brother Branhams own ministry the same two Doctrinal points were contended with most amongst the Denominations and Pentecostal churches than any other points, and these were:

Þ The first point is this: Jesus had trouble with the people understanding Vindication :

In [ John 10 : 31-33 ] We find the people were ready to stone Him because of He was expressing His understanding of the Godhead, and so he asked them why they would want to stone Him? He pointed to the vindication and they didn't get it. They could not tie together the vindication of God's presence with signs and wonders with the Word Jesus was Speaking to them. And so we see Jesus talking to them as we read, I and My Father are One. Then the Jews took up stones to stone Him. Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from My Father; [ In other words, you know that these wonderful miracles you have been witness to are beyond what a man could do, you know that they have to come from God alone, for no other could do such] Many good works have I shewed you from My Father; for which of those works do you stone me? Based on vindication, of which of the Points that I have been vindicated by God do you want to stone Me? The Jews answered Him, saying, for a good work we stone Thee not; but for blasphemy; and because thou a man, makest thyself God. "

So we see that people do not change and neither does God. And if the people rejected the Alpha ministry of Jesus Christ over Godhead and Vindication, then they will have to do it in the Omega ministry as well in order to Crucify to themselves the Lord afresh and put Him to an open or public shame and disgrace.

Brother Branham taught vindication as "God having a One man Message and He deals with One man only". This caused much of the clergy to alienate brother Branham, which was due mostly to professional jealousy.

Þ The second bone of contention amongst the Pentecostals who were about the only ones to get close enough to brother Branhams ministry was his teaching on the Godhead, for He did not teach as the Oneness or Jesus Only, nor did he teach a Trinity. He said, "I stand in between them. I do not believe in a Trinity where there is three persons, and neither do I believe that Jesus is One like your finger in One." These two doctrinal issues were the "Rock of Offense" that kept brother Branham from being accepted by the Church world in His day. Why is it that the Trinitarian Cult chasers brandish brother Branham as a Oneness and yet the Oneness think he is Trinitarian? It is because he was neither of these two schools of thought? He stood right between them, and they could not discern the difference, but they knew he didn't preach it like they did. He was not Oneness, neither was he Twoness or Threeness. But he believed their is One God who had a Son. Not God the Son, but the Son of God.

It should come then as no surprise that amongst the very followers of William Branham, these same two major doctrines have caused more controversy and have been attacked more than all others.

Þ Again we see Vindication is the issue: Not so much that it was God who backed up William Branham's Message, for all Pentecostal people believe that God works out of heaven and does fantastic things. And they will even allow for God to come down to do certain things, but the understanding that this Vindication comes in the Form of God's Personal Presence with His Prophet, and that this Presence was referred to by Brother Branham himself as the Appearing of Christ has become the central doctrinal debate within the "Message clergy" because it comes into direct conflict with their understanding of the Second coming of Christ as they have always perceived it, and this is due to the fact that they do not understand Godhead correctly. In fact I said that back in 1982 when people were coming into this revelation but wanted to place Jesus as comatose draped across God's throne somewhere. And again in 1984 when they kept calling the Appearing, the Coming, I knew it was because they had a Jehovah Witness understanding of the Parousia in which they do away all together with the Second Coming of Christ because they do not understand Godhead. And I say to you this morning as I have said before, If you do not understand the Godhead you will never be able to see Who it is that has come down in this hour. And so when the teaching of the God head began to go forth more clearly out amongst the people, it actually superseded the Presence as the Doctrine that caused the most stir amongst the Message believers, or shall we say make believers.

Þ The Godhead : Again as it was in Jesus day and in Brother Branham's, has become again the most bitter pill to swallow, or better yet we shall say, the bitter scroll to swallow which is the Word of God. Most people have come into the message from a Trinitarian background. The problem though, is that they left the Trinitarians and have become Oneness in their thinking until perhaps 99% of the people who claim to follow the message today are Oneness in their thinking. This is due to the fact they have failed to really listen to what brother Branham taught us on the Godhead. And because of professional jealousy amongst the clergy again, we see the same alienation of those who have stood by what Brother Branham has taught pertaining to the correct understanding of the Appearing and Godhead.

[1 Peter 2: 7] Unto you therefore which believe, He is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the Stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the Head of the Corner, Now if you will notice here, He did not say He is made the Corner, but He is made the Head of the Corner. Jesus the Man came in the Alpha, and He is the Lamb that will be at the top of the Holy Mountain New Jerusalem. But above Him will be the Pillar of Fire which will contain or house God Himself. And it is that Same Spirit of God that was in Jesus reconciling the world to Himself that comes back as the Cap Stone or Headstone at this hour. And notice Peter says, To those who believe, He is precious.. And if He is Precious then for Him to be here is precious, because how can you say He is precious and then deny His Presence and call it garbage and puke and false doctrine or just another doctrine. If He is precious, then the very thoughts of Him being here ought to make you rejoice with a joy unspeakable and full of Glory.

[ 1 Thessalonians 2: 19] For what is our hope, or joy, or crown or rejoicing of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the Presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at His Parousia?" " Unto you therefore which believe, He is precious:[ which is a Greek word, time which means He is highly valued, or you place the highest value upon] but unto them which be disobedient, the Stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the Head of the Corner. Now let's see what the attitude of those who are called by scripture as disobedient or children of disobedience. And remember, there is a big difference between being a disobedient child and being a child of disobedience. You can be a Child who disobeys, but to be a child of disobedience means you are a product of a disobedient act. And who was that? Cain of Course. And so we find that a child of disobedience is actually serpent seed. Now let's read a couple of scriptures that speak of these children of disobedience and I want you to look for earmarks or identifiable characteristics.

[Ephesians 2:1] And you [hath he quickened], who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

[Ephesians 5:6] Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

So we see that these children have one thing in common. A false anointing from the devil that brings deception. And how does it come? By vain words. Useless words. Words which mean nothing. Then if the two main doctrines that Jesus brought forth were Godhead and Presence, which is vindication, then other thoughts that would go contrary to these would have to be considered vain and useless. But as we see here by these scriptures, [1 Peter 2: 7] Unto you therefore which believe, He is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, He has become according to the next verse [1 Peter 2: 8] a Stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense, even to them which stumble at the Word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed. Now these disobedient children are serpent seed, so they are not and can not be the Seed of God. In fact as we read further in the next verse we will find this out for sure. But notice that to the elect this Headstone ministry of His Appearing is precious to us, it is considered the most valuable thing we know, but to the other Seed, it is considered a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense.

Now if we really get into this and look at the definition of the word offense, we shall find that it means, something that causes resentment and anger, the act of attacking and assaulting. And that is why they say, " It's not so much their doctrine that we hate, it's their Spirit." They have the wrong Spirit. And that is why they could not buy into what Jesus had to say either. He came at them with a two edged sword and they did not like it either. So it becomes a Rock of Offense and a stumbling stone to them which stumble at the Word because they are children of disobedience, as they were appointed to be from before the world was even framed.

So what we are looking at here is twins again. Both religious, yet one is the Seed of God and the other is the seed of the Devil. And what we are finding is that The key to understanding this here, is that only those who are in the Election will not stumble at the Word. But those who are not God's Seed will stumble at the 2 major doctrines that have come forth at every exodus God has come as the Pillar of Fire. Now, I want you to read this next verse vary carefully.

[1 Peter 2: 9] But ye are a chosen generation, [ the word here is genos which we get the word gene from and which refers to Lineage, the seed or offspring ] and I want you to notice what the attributes of this gene seed are. He says, they are: an Holy nation, a peculiar people[ now this is not peculiar in our sense of the word which means strange, but it comes from a Greek word which actually means a purchased people, or a people who have been bought with a price, which then means a redeemed people.] : that ye should show forth the praises of Him Who hath called you out of darkness unto His marvelous light: Now if we are to show forth the praises of Him, then we are to say the same thing He said. We won't add to it, and we won't take from it. Jesus said, " If you confess me before men, I will confess you before my father." And Brother Branham taught us that the word confess means to say the same thing, because it is made up of two Greek words, "Homo" which means the same as, and "Logos" which is the very thoughts of God manifested or expressed. So we see that to confess Him is to say the same things He said about Himself. Then you have got to understand what he said in order to repeat it correctly.

Paul said in [ 1 Corinthians 13: 11] When I was a child I spake as a child, because I understood as a child, and I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish thinking." How many times have we as parents heard one of the children try to repeat a song or something that they heard but because they did not understand it, it came out much different from what the original lyrics were.

1) I remember driving down the road onetime and my family were all singing "Swing low sweet chariot", and as we sang, I could hear Sara singing "Swing low, sweet cherry oven" she was about three years old.

2) Another time we had Dwayne's family over and we were all singing songs. Jeremy was about three years old and he wanted to sing a song for us called the B.I.B.L.E., And he sang, "The B-uh-E-uh-E that's the book for me, I stand upon the wood of God, the B-uh-E-uh-E!"

3) And Patty ought to remember one time during song service, Lisa was also about that same age, and she started singing " Old McDonald had a farm" and Patty quietly said, SSSHHHH, and Lisa said, "But Mom, I'm only singing."

So you see, that without an understanding, many of the things we think about just do not come out right. We must have a mature mind, to think mature thoughts. And God has come down to give us His Mind in this hour. And we must have a spiritually mature mind in order to receive God's thoughts. And that is the trouble we have in this message today. Men are still living by the glare of another day. And they have not come to the place where they have let go of their own thoughts. Look, you do not have the capacity to hold onto your own thoughts and also receive the thoughts of God. And so, when we hear Brother Branham make the statement, "which the woman is took from the man, a part of the man. Every... Genes of the man is in the woman, that's what makes the woman. And that's the way the Word of God is in the Church, what makes the Church the Bride." We find men who are not ordained to handle this word taking these words and making them into some sort of contorted Female attributes of God and a sort of Female part of God or some strange Female Holy Ghost doctrine. It just goes to show that these men do not understand the Doctrine of Godhead, and therefore they can not understand Vindication either.

[ 2 timothy 3: 13 - 14, 16 - 17 ] Knowing of whom you are taught, because the Word of God is actaully instructions in righteousness, and it takes a right word to be rightly wise. Let's bow our heads and pray.
