Shall Not Be Confounded

 

Tonight I would like to continue with pp. 256 of God’s Only Provided Place of Worship.  As you are aware, we have already examined the first part or sentence of this paragraph where brother Branham said, "Sometime the Capstone will return, the head of all of it, and receive the Bride unto Himself;  This we brought out in # 87 in our series, and we found that there were five points to this statement that Brother Branham made, which are as follows:

 

Point # I)   Brother Branham begins by saying, "Sometime" - now we found that when we say, some time we are referring to "a time" meaning "some-time". So we are speaking of "a time". A time for what? A time for something specific to happen, a certain event. Now, I want you to notice how carefully I said this. The time is not specified, or even specific in itself, yet the time is designated as being part of a specific event. So the word time is used only in reference to the event.   So in essence, the event which we are focusing on is specific, and so the time is only an integral part of the event, so the time is not important but the event is. So when Brother Branham says, "Sometime" we know he is saying there is a time. And then if there is a time, we know there is a season, as in [Ecclesiastes 3: 1] that speaks of a time and season for every thing under the sun.

 

Now, point # II)  tells us what the time or season is when he says, "The Cap Stone shall return". So, now we have just defined the time or season as being the season of the return of the Capstone. And we know that the Capstone he spoke of is the same as the Headstone spoken of in  [Zechariah 4: 4-7] where we found that a major attribute of this Headstone season is a shout amongst the Bride crying Grace, Grace, unto it!" we also found this headstone is spoken of in  [1 Peter 2: 6-9] where we shall spend a little more time in tonight.  Now, this leads us to point  # III) Where Brother Branham tells us the purpose behind the Return of the Capstone is "In order to receive Something"  Here we see that there is a specific purpose behind the return of the Capstone, and that is to receive or gather together something, and in  point  # IV) we find that this thing that He has come to gather is called  "The Bride"  and where is this Bride going to be received? Point # V) He said, "To Himself"  And that is the focus of  Brother Branham's  entire message as he said,  "My ministry is to Declare Him, that He is Here!"

 

We then moved on to the next thought in this paragraph where Brother Branham said, "which the woman is took from the man, a part of the man. Every... Genes of the man is in the woman, what makes the woman.

 

In this next sentence  we see  Brother Branham  bringing forth the thought of genetics; Spiritual and physical in which we receive in us every thing that makes us what we will ever be.  Now as we begin to look at this statement, I want you to notice closely that brother Branham is giving us a little Biology lesson here. He is typing the natural with the Spiritual as he often did. And he is focusing our minds upon this thought of the Genes of God.  He says, the woman is taken from the man, because she is actually part of the man. Then he qualifies this by saying " Genes of the man is in the woman, and he again qualifies this by saying, that's what makes the woman... or in  other words, " that's what makes up the woman." Now, remember he had said in the quote we read earlier From a message entitled, [ Jesus keeps all of His Appointments pg. 21]  brother Branham said, " As it gets closer and closer, the negative and positive are coming together, until they both become the same thing. And that's exactly when the church and the Word has to be One, like Jesus and God was One,  just exactly. "God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself." And so will Christ have to be in the church, the anointed of the Word, to make everything fulfilled. And that's the Capstone that comes upon the last church age.  So we see that he is letting us know in order for the Bride and the Word to be One,  the same Word that was in God ( and remember, Jesus said, "My words are Spirit and they are Life". So when we are dealing with the Word of God we are speaking also of His spirit and His Life. His Divine Nature and His Attributes or shall we call it the very same thing as Brother Branham called it, The Word of God is the Genes of God; His Life Blood

 

Now in review of last Sunday we found in  [ 1 Peter 2: 6] Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, " Behold, I lay in Zion a Chief Corner Stone, Elect, Precious: And He that believeth on Him shall not be confounded.  So we see here that one of the attributes of those who are called believers of this return of the Headstone ministry,  is that they will not be confounded, (which means that they will not be confused).  Now this statement in itself tells us 2 things.  #1) That there will be confusion pertaining to this Headstone ministry, but the True Believers of this ministry shall not be among those who are confused. This also tells us another thing which is point  # 2) And that is, that those who are True Believers will not be confused because they will understand it. In fact by stating that there are those who believe, we are also stating that they understand, because how can you believe if you don't understand. Do you follow my thinking here.  How can a person claim to believe if he doesn't know what he is believing?  You've got to know what it is that you are believing or you will be unstable and vacillating every which way in your beliefs.

 

[ James 1: 5-6]  If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given to him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.    So we see that we must not waver back and forth. We must know what it is that we have need of and we must ask in faith. Now a person only wavers when they are not sure what it is that they want. So we are dealing with specifics here. Not just some pie in the sky fiction. We are dealing with a real God Who is more than willing to increase our Wisdom and Understanding.  In fact, that is the very reason He came down in this hour according to [Ephesians 1: 17 ] to give us the "Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation in the knowledge of Himself".  In   [ Philippians 3: 15] we read, "and if in anything ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you,"  So we see that we have a promise from God Himself, that He wants us to know and to understand, and in fact our Faith is based upon an understanding and a specific knowledge.

 

So we see the True believer will not be confounded or confused because they know what they believe. In fact, the more we understand His Word, the more we understand Him. Because "as a man thinketh in His heart, so is he and out of the abundance of the heart the mouth Speaketh." And the more we know and understand and believe what He tells us, the more we will know Him.  We believe because we understand. Therefore we know Him by what He tells us.  Then if we are believers in His Message, we will understand the Message, and Brother Branham said, "My ministry is to declare Him, that He is here," Then if we understand the Message of "Him and That He is Here," then we will have to understand Godhead, and Vindication. And we will know Who it is that has come down.

 

So then those who do not know Who it is that came down can not really call themselves believers. Well, they might call themselves that, but just to say it doesn't make it so.  During Jesus Alpha ministry on earth, there were two things that caused more controversy among the Denominations of His day, the Pharisees and Sadducees than anything else. We also found during Brother Branhams own ministry the same two Doctrinal points caused more contention amongst the Denominations and Pentecostal churches than any other points, and these were:

 

Þ     The first point is this: Jesus had trouble with the people understanding Vindication :

 

In [ John 10 : 31-33 ] the people  were ready  to stone Him because of He was expressing His understanding of Godhead, and so he asked them why they wanted to stone Him? He pointed to the vindication but they didn't get it. They could not see vindication because they could not get passed His doctrine.  And so we see Jesus talking to them saying,  "I and My Father are One. Then the Jews took up stones to stone Him. Jesus answered them,  Many good works have I shewed you from My Father;  In other words, you know whose been doing these wonderful miracles, yet why would God perform these wonderful works, which no man can do if I wasn't saying what He wanted me to say?

 

He said, "Many good works have I shewed you from My Father; for which of those works do you stone me? In other words, Based on vindication, of which of the Points that I have been vindicated by God do you want to stone Me? The Jews answered Him, saying, for a good work we stone Thee not; but for blasphemy; and because thou a man, makest thyself God. "  So we see that people do not  change and neither does God. And if the people rejected the Alpha ministry of Jesus Christ over Godhead and Vindication, then they will have to do it in the Omega ministry as well in order to Crucify to themselves the Lord afresh and put Him to an open or public shame and disgrace.

 

Brother Branham taught vindication as "God having a One man Message and He deals with One man only". This caused much of the clergy to alienate brother Branham, which was due mostly to professional jealousy.

 

The second bone of contention amongst the Pentecostals who were about the only ones to get close enough to brother Branhams ministry was his teaching on the Godhead, for He did not teach as the Oneness or Jesus Only, nor did he teach a Trinity. He said, "I stand in between them. I do not believe in a Trinity where there is three persons, and neither do I believe that Jesus is One like your finger in One." These two doctrinal issues were the "Rock of Offense" that kept brother Branham from being accepted by the Church world in His day. And the same thing has followed down to this very minute in this message. It should come then as no surprise that amongst the very followers of William Branham, these same two major doctrines  have caused more controversy and have been attacked more than all others.

 

Þ    Again we see Vindication is the issue: Not so much that it was God who backed up William Branham's Message, because they believe that. But the understanding that this Vindication comes in the Form of God's Personal Presence with His Prophet, and that this Presence was referred to by Brother Branham himself as the Appearing of Christ has become the central doctrinal debate within the "Message clergy" because it comes into direct conflict with their understanding of the Second coming of Christ as they have always perceived it.  And let's face it, this is due to the fact that they do not understand Godhead correctly.  In fact I've been saying this since 1982 when people were coming into this revelation but wanted to place Jesus as comatose draped across God's throne somewhere. And again in 1984 when they kept calling the Appearing, the Coming, I knew they didn't understand the difference because they did not understand Godhead. They actually had a Jehovah Witness understanding of the Parousia in which the Second Coming of Christ was spiritualized. And again, this is because they did not understand Godhead. If you do not understand the Godhead you will never be able to see Who it is that has come down in this hour. And so when the teaching of the God head began to go forth more clearly out amongst the people, it actually superseded the Presence as the Doctrine that caused the most stir amongst the Message believers, or shall we say make believers.

 

[1 Peter 2: 7] Unto you therefore which believe, He is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the Stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the Head of the Corner, [1 Peter 2: 8]  a Stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense, even to them which stumble at the Word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed. [1 Peter 2: 9]  But ye are a chosen generation, [ the word here is genos which we get the word gene  from and which refers to Lineage, the seed  or offspring ] and I want you to notice what the attributes of this gene seed are. He says,  they are:   an Holy nation, a peculiar people[ this does not means strange, but actually means a purchased people, or a people who have been bought with a price, which then means a redeemed people.] : that ye should show forth the praises of Him Who hath called you out of darkness unto His marvelous light:  Now if we are to show forth the praises of Him, then we are to say the same thing He said. We won't add to it, and we won't take from it. Jesus said, " If you confess me before men, I will confess you before my father." And Brother Branham taught us that the word confess means to say the same thing, because it is made up of two Greek words, "Homo" which means the same as, and "Logos" which means God thoughts expressed.

 

Now remember, Brother Branham said, "which the woman is took from the man, a part of the man. Every ... Genes of the man is in the woman, that's what makes the woman. And that's the way the Word of God is in the Church, what makes the Church the Bride." So brother Branham is telling us here, that there is only one thing that distinguishes the Elect Bride from the church and that is the Genes of God which is His Word. And remember this, Revelation does not come from man, but from God alone, for Jesus told Peter, "Flesh and Blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father which is in Heaven, He it is that has showed you these things."  That is why Brother Lee could say to me, "Brian, some people think that when I'm gone, that teaching is over. But that is not True. As Long as the Holy Spirit is here there will be teaching, for this is the hour of teaching."  So we see it is not a man but it is a message, and that Message will not do you any good if it is not revealed, and it can never be revealed to those it who are not furnished with a Soul that has been created to receive the Word as God Himself Reveals it.  And no man can reveal it to you. It must come from God Himself. And that is why He Himself has come down in this hour to Give us the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation in the knowledge of Himself. And let's face it, if you were not given the Genes of God from before the Foundations of the world, you'll never be able to understand it. So we are looking at Genes here. He said, it is the Genes of God which is His Word that identifies the Bride and separates her as different from the church.

 

[ Matthew 13: 10 - 16] And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. { to them who?} [ Mark 4: 11-12] And He said unto them, unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.  Now notice that He said two important things here. #1) There is a certain people who are created with an innate something within them that allows them to hear and understand, to see and also perceive what they see.  He said, unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of God: So we see first of all that the Word of God is not for every body. But He said, unto you it is given to Know the mysteries of the kingdom of God.  God wants you to know. Unto you it is given.. Given...It then is a gift to You from your Father.  From [ Shalom pp. 34] brother Branham said, The Elected Seed knows, It's always throughout every age, that they know it."   From [ C.O.D. pg. 939] He said,  And I believe the Predestinated Seed will see it, and only them will see it."  And from the Message [ Spoken word is the original Seed pg. 62]  He said, If they don't believe the Word they have no Seed - germ in them.  And again in pg. 45 of that same Message he said, " Every one that belongs to God will hear God. Just feel led of the Spirit where to go and what to do, and do that."  So you see, there is no getting around it, God has made some people to receive His Word and all others are not meant to receive it. Now,  in getting back to [Matthew 13: 12] we read "For whosoever hath, to him shall be given,"  And if you look up that word hath, you will find it is the Greek Word spelled, ECHO or echo as we would say it. And it means to have or accompany. That is exactly what we hear as well when we hear an echo. It is the same thing you say being accompanied by a repeat of itself. And so we read this verse as this way, "For whosoever hath, to him shall be given," or shall we say  To Him that is made in such a way as to echo back the Word of God, to him shall be given, { and notice as the Scripture continues} and he shall have more abundance:  Now why would the person who is made to echo have what is given to him in more abundance? Because, just as an echo is made off the original and out from the original, so too it is a repeat of the original. So it will be more of the same. Therefore more abundant.

 

Now we know that an echo is created from a shout. You can not get an echo by whispering. But a shout will produce an echo. Right? And what is it we are echoing in this hour but a Shout from the original. Now, remember, according to [Ephesians 1: 3 - 4] we were in Him before the foundations of the World. And in the book of [Job] we find that all the Sons of God were shouting for joy before the world was framed as well. So we began our shout back them.

 

And as we read last week in [Zechariah 4] when the Headstone shall return, the Elect will be echoing forth a shout of  "Grace, Grace" unto it. Now notice that  the Scripture says, "Grace, Grace".   So what you are hearing is an echo, which is a repeat. And we know an echo is only a repeat of what was said, or saying the same thing. And Brother Branham warned us to "Say only what is on those tapes".  So we see that He comes to us in this Capstone hour with a shout of Grace, and we echo back to Him, "Grace, Grace"

 

Now in getting back to our focus on Matthew  13 and Mark 4 we said there were two points to be made here. #1) God has created a special people who are made in such a way as to be able to receive the Word from God and who are also able to perceive what He is telling us and understand enough to be able to offer it back to Him.  Now this is why when He appears we shall see Him  and be like Him. This is why we are able to offer up our own bodies as a living sacrifice to Him [ Romans 12: 1 - 2] and it will be considered Holy and acceptable to Him and in fact He will call it our Spiritual act of Worship. But what about those who are not given  or made in such a way as to be able to see and perceive and hear with understanding. That is our point #2), The Word is presented in  such a way as to purposely blind them so that they may not perceive and understand. Again, from the [Spoken word is the original Seed pg. 62]  He said, If they don't believe the Word they have no Seed - germ in them. So we see that this inability to hear and recognize has to do with whether we were created to hear and recognize or not. In other words, it has to do with whether we have a Gene Seed of God or not. [ Mark 4: 11-12] And He said unto them, unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.  The word " without" here is the Greek word EXO, which sounds like our English equivalent Exit and means placed on the outside, or apart from. And so we must ask ourselves, on the outside of what or apart from what. And the answer is the Truth. Now when we think of someone who is on the outside, we call them outsiders which means they are not privy to know certain things. They are in  a sort strangers. This is in fact what the churches have done to Christ the Word as well. We see Him in [Revelations 3] and [James 5]  and even[ Matthew 25] on the outside of the church knocking.  And I want you to also notice that according to Jesus Himself, these people were not made in such a way as to be able to echo back the word, and thus receive it and be able with an understanding to give it back to Him who gave it to us. [ Matthew 13: 12] but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that which he thinks he has. Now Jesus is telling us here that although they do not understand, yet they must think that they are understanding what He is giving, for they think they can echo it as well, but it won't come out the same. He said,  but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that which he thinks he has.  Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:  For this people's heart is waxed gross, and [their] ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with [their] eyes, and hear with [their] ears, and should understand with [their] heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. But blessed [are] your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

 

So by now you can see the importance of  being predestinated to have God's Gene Seed in you.

 

[ 1 Peter 1: 23] Being born a again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the Word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.  Because, remember, Jesus said, " My Words are Spirit and they are Life."  So we see it is the Word that contains the Life.  [ John 1:  3]  "In Him was Life and the Life was the light of men."  And if the Life was in Him and He was the Word, then the Word is a Carrier of the Life, right? Then the Word is a Seed as we see in [ 1 Peter 1: 23 ] The incorruptible Seed Word of God.

 

And since we see that the Word Gene Seed of God is so vital to our predestination unto Glory, we then must know that in the Word is everything we will ever have need of  that pertains to life and the living.

 

[2 Peter 1: 1 - 4] Simon Peter, a servant and an Apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious Faith {revelation} with us through the righteousness {right-wise-ness} of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ. Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and Jesus Christ our Lord, according as His Divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness { God-likeness},and how does this come?  through the knowledge of Him that hath called us to Glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises { Word}: that by these ye might be partakers { which means to be companions and partakers of, or sharers } of the Divine nature, ..."  Now, how could we be partakers or sharers of this Divine Nature if in fact it is the very Nature of the Godhead.  For that is what the  word Divine here is. It is the Greek Word Theios  and is used  three times in scripture. Twice here in [2 Peter 1: 3 - 4] it is translated as Divine  and once in [ Acts 17: 29] where it is translated as the word Godhead, we read, For in Him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your poets have said, for we are His offspring. For as much then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device."

 

So we see tonight, the great thing brother Branham is bringing to our attention is the great difference between the Bride and the Church is that the Bride actually possesses the very Gene Seed of God in here, and it is this seed that allows her to come forth into His Image. Because after all, according to the 'Law of Life" or the "Law of Reproduction" that He established back in [ Genesis 1: 11] Ever seed shall bring forth after it's kind.  And there fore if we have the gene seed of God in us, we too will, and in fact must come into the very same image as the Father.

 

[ 1 John 3: 1 - 2]  Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew Him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet Appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall Appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is.  So then at His Appearing we are to see Him as He really is, and then we shall become like Him. And What is He but the Word. And "As a man thinketh in His heart, so is he... And out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaketh."

                          

[Romans 8:29] For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate [to be] conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.  [ Weymouth]  For those whom He has known before hand, He has also predestined to bear the likeness of His Only Begotten Son; that he might be the eldest in a vast family of brothers."

 

If we could only realize that He has already given you every thing you have need to come forth into His Image. He has given you His own Seed. That is why we read in [ 1 John 3: 9] Who so ever is born of God doth not commit sin; { this actually means you do not make it a habitual practice, and you can't } for His Seed { God's own Seed} remaineth in you: and He can not sin { and remember, Sin is disbelief},And so you can not disbelieve because you are born of God."   Now remember, Brother Branham said, "which the woman is took from the man, a part of the man. Every ... Genes of the man is in the woman, that's what makes the woman. And that's the way the Word of God is in the Church, what makes the Church the Bride." And so we see tonight what makes you different than the church in this hour and in every hour. It is the very Seed Gene Life of God in you by the Word. And the Word was put on the outside of the church in this hour and so then in return, the church gets put on the outside themselves, and since they are outsiders to the revealed truth of God, they can not understand, nor can they even perceive what is needed to place them in a Rapture. And that is why we come to church. To prepare ourselves for the Rapture .

 

Let's just bow our hearts and our heads now in a word of  thanksgiving and prayer.
