The Masterpiece 107

Brian Kocourek
Again this morning we will read from paragraph 200 of
The Masterpiece and there is but one small statement that Br. Branham said that
I would like to use for my text..
THE
MASTERPIECE 64-0705 200 You stay IN the Word, the Life…
Now, this word “IN”
is a mighty powerful word. And you would not think that God would have a person
to preach on just one word like that. But did you know that brother Branham
preached one of his most powerful messages on just one Word?
It was the Word,
“LOOK”, and he preached that sermon just two weeks after he preached the Seals
because the people just did not understand the significance to what took place
at the opening of the Seals. And he began by saying,
Look 63-0428 P:12 Now,
we are going to try this morning to take just four letters in a word, "Look," for a subject, and to deal
with it a little while as the Lord will lead us to do. I have a few notes
written here and some Scripture that we might refer to as we go along. Look,
l-double o-k, look, the word, really, when, It's used often, "but, look..." When you hear the word it's usually
somebody trying to get you to see what they are looking at. They say to
you, "Look." Like going down the road you, someone might see a
certain scene and they'd say, "Look," and then express what it is.
It's at the mountain, at the cactus, or whatever they're looking at. But the
first thing to get your attention is, "Look."
So we see the word
look has a specific meaning, and it is used to get your attention to see what
you and the one you are saying it to does not see what you are seeing.
The Apostle Paul said
all words have signification. In other words, words have meaning, and the
problem with our dumbed down civilization today is that words have lost there
meaning. And when words loose their meaning, then it’s over. Death has set in.
Now, we are going to talk of the importance of one
little word this morning and you will see before we are through that to not
understand this one word will cause a person to go out from the presence of the
Lord. Out from Life into death.
The word I want to speak on this morning is the word,
“IN”. Now the word “IN” means “within the
limits, bounds or area of,” and speaks of location, destination or direction; and
suggests relationship with as coming into speaks of closeness or presence, whereas
“Out” shows direction away from, absence, or disassociation, which is lack of
relationship.
Jesus said, John 15: 7 If ye abide IN
me, and my words abide IN you, ye
shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
Therefore to not abide in or
remain in Christ who is the Word, has a consequence to it. It has punishment.
And the end result is death. And this morning we read brother Branham’s quote
where he said You
stay IN the Word, the Life…
The apostle John told us that the difference between being “IN” the
doctrine of Christ, and not being “IN” the doctrine of Christ will determine
whether you even have God or not.
2 John 8 Look to
yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we
receive a full reward. (Notice that
John is about to tell us about how a person can loose everything they thought
they were working for. He tells us to be careful not to loose those things
which we have worked so hard to attain. And then he tells us how this will come
about. Notice the next verse.)
9 Whosoever transgresseth, (now this word transgress means to go beyond the
limits, or to go outside of the limits. To add one word brings the plagues and
to leave off one word brings death and having your name taken out from the book
of Life. Then what about this simple word we are talking about this morning. To
not understand what the word IN mans in respect to the relationship of God to
Christ is to loose it all. ) So 9 Whosoever transgresseth and abideth not (or
remaineth not) IN the doctrine of Christ, hath
not God.
So we see in this hour this word “IN” is a
very crucial word to our salvation and relationship with God. Notice what he is
telling us here. If you do not remain IN the doctrine of Christ you do not even
have God. And that word hath was translated from the Greek word “echo” and it
means to reflect God and we know that God is life. Therefore to be outside the
doctrine of Christ you could never echo God. You could never say what God says.
And it shows you have no possession of God in your life either.
1 John 5:
10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in
himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth
not the record that God gave of his Son.
1 John 5: 11 And this is the record, that
God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
Now, in getting back
to 2nd John we read: 9 Whosoever transgresseth and abideth not (or
remaineth not) IN the doctrine of Christ, hath
not God. (You’ve got to be in it. These men who preach that we must
lay aside the doctrine of Christ to go on to perfection do not know what they
are talking about. He tells us that without the doctrine of Christ you don’t
even have God so how could you lay it aside and go onto perfection without God?
The problem is that these are not men just think they are called to preach but
are nothing more than business men who know what it takes to build a crowd, and
to make money. And brother Branham warned the full Gospel business men to keep
out of the pulpits. But these men have made it a business and the Book of
Revelations tells us they deal in the marketing of the souls of men. That’s
their business. But to teach truth? Far be it that they would teach truth. It
would cut into their profits. So they point to a prophet to make a profit, but
they refuse to teach what the prophet taught. )
He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ,
he hath both the Father and the Son. 10 If there come any unto you,
and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your
house, neither bid him God speed:11 For he that biddeth him God
speed is partaker of his evil deeds.
Jesus said in, “John 10: 9 I
am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and
out, and find pasture.
After hearing this message this morning I hope you
will understand just how crucial this one little word is in this hour. You know
in the Garden it was just one little word that brought all the sickness and
dying into the world. God said if you eat of the tree you shall surely die, and
the serpent said, “NOT.”
And in this hour to not understand the significance of
just one little word, will keep you from the inheritance, it will put you out
from the presence of God, and it will shut you off from a relationship with God
himself.
Knowing and understanding this word “IN” is the
difference between being saved or being lost. In Noah’s day to be out and not
in meant death. It meant you perished with the rest of the world. He said come
into the ark and be saved and those who did not enter “IN” were all lost. To be
“IN” meant you were saved from the destruction.
In Moses day 2 million people came “OUT” from
Now, the biggest problem I see in this Message among
those who claim to believe it, is that they can not read. Not only can they not
read their Bibles, but they can not read the Message either. And if you can not
read the word IN and understand what the word in means, then how in the world
are you ever going to be part of the Third exodus. Because an Exodus has two
parts. To come out, and then to go in. And if hey do not even understand the
word “IN” and what it means then how are they ever going to enter in. And if
they just go out then they are not part in danger of wandering like lost sheep
and like
WITHOUT AND WITHIN
Mark 4:
11 And he said unto them, Unto
you it is given to know the mystery of the
So we see that in this Message like in the days of
Moses, that brother Branham like Moses took the people out of
Third
Exodus 63-0630M P:126 Now, I want you to notice, this same Pillar
of Fire is leading, the people again to
a promised land, the millennium, where we found under the inspiration of
this Sixth Seal, that's never been taught before, how the earth has to be
purified for the millennium. The Pillar
Fire is leading them to a millennium. And notice, the Pillar of Fire that
led Israel from the bondage in that exodus, the Pillar of Fire, under the
leadership of God, God was the Fire, and the Pillar of Fire only anointed the
prophet.
Third Exodus 63-0630M P:130 That
was a burning Fire, that Pillar of Fire in the bush. When He died and rose on
the third day, and Saul met Him on the road down, He was back to that Pillar of
Fire. Said, "I come from God and I go to God." When Peter was in
prison, that Pillar of Fire come in and opened the doors and took him on the
outside. That's right. Where did that Pillar of Fire lead them? Now, remember, Moses was not the Pillar of Fire. He was
the anointed leader under that Pillar of Fire, and the Pillar of Fire only
vindicated his message with signs and wonders. And that Pillar of Fire led them to the land that God promised them,
where He, Himself, would be made flesh among them someday. Is that right? What
did they do? Murmured and squirmered and everything else to show it was under
the blood of an ordinary lamb. But this time (Glory to God.) the Pillar that we see among us, the Pillar
of Fire will lead us to the millennium, where He will return to His people
in that great millennium reign after this exodus, where we'll live eternally
with Him. He always has the Word of the Father, always proves that It's right.
Power of decision 55-1007 P:44 Now,
it's a type of the Holy Ghost. When Moses had crossed from Egypt into this
wilderness on his road to the promised land, as the same type of the Church
coming up out of the world, separating itself from the world, in the wilderness
journey, going on their way to the millennium, perfect. Has to be. And now, God
led them in natural, because they were a
loose in the wilderness, and He led them in the natural. He's leading us today in the spiritual. And the same Pillar of Fire
that led the children of Israel, here He is leading us, the same One, same
Pillar of Fire, leading us on, the supernatural Light of God moving on,
leading the Church spiritually.
There are 219 times that William Branham
said that “God was IN His Son”.
There are 208 times that William Branham
said that “God was IN Christ”.
There are 102 times that William Branham
said that God was IN Him. Speaking
of the Son of God.
There were 52 times brother Branham
said, that God was IN His son.
There were 23 times brother Branham
said, that God is IN His son.
There are 3 times that William Branham
said that God was IN Jesus.
Did you know that Brother Branham never said “God was
Jesus”? Not once in 1,200 sermons did he ever say that. Now he did say that
Jesus was God, but then he would always go on to say Jesus was God because God
was dwelling in Him. And then he would quote the Apostle Paul as saying, “God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself.”
Show us
the Father 59-0419E P:37 God is in His Word. Do you believe that?
Now, God IN His Son, sure, He
was. Christ Jesus was God manifested
IN the flesh. The Bible said,
that, "God was in Christ
reconciling the world to Himself." The flesh part was man. The Spirit was God. Jesus
said, "I can do nothing except
My Father shows Me first." When He was here on earth He
hungered like a man. He got hungry, looked around on a tree to find something
to eat; that was the Man part. But
when He taken those biscuits and two little fishes and fed five thousand
people, that was God doing that. When He went down to the grave of Lazarus, He
was weeping; that was the man; that was
Jesus. But when He called a man out of the grave that had been dead and
buried four days, that was God IN
His Son, 'cause only God can speak to the dead. God was IN His Son.
Greater witness than John 53-1107 P:54 Do
you believe Jesus was God?(Now, notice,
he is not saying he was, he is asking you if you believe he was) He was Emmanuel,
God was IN Him? God was IN Christ, reconciling the world to Himself. The
Bible said so.
And the other times brother Branham says Jesus was God
is like this.
Jesus was God IN a form.
Jesus was God manifested IN Flesh.
That's the reason Jesus was
God. That's... God just worked through
a Man (Is that right?), reconciling the world to Himself.
Time
tested faith 58-0530 P:57 Now, when Jesus was God IN flesh, we believe that, the manifestation,
He was here to manifest Himself IN the flesh. Jesus was the body, the Son of God; God dwelt in
Christ. Now, Jesus said Himself, "The Son can do nothing
in Himself,"
And did you know that He only said IN one place that “God is Jesus”
? But, then he qualified how “God was Jesus”.
QA God being misunderstood COD 61-0723E
P:18 There is no three Gods. There's only one
God, and that God is Jesus Christ. God is a Spirit that lives IN Jesus Christ, and is living IN His church, you and I today,
separating Himself to us IN
the form of the Holy Spirit, which is God almighty Himself living IN you.
Now, if God in Jesus makes Jesus God, then God in you makes you God. You
see people just do not understand that God is a Spirit and the man Jesus was
the vessel God chose and ordained before the world began to choose as His
dwelling place. That is why Brother Branham could say from God's
gifts always find place 63-1222 P:50 The man, the body was not
Deity, but Deity was in the body. This body has to perish. The very Christ
that's in you is the only thing that can raise you up. That's Deity, God in
you.
Questions and answers COD 64-0830M P:62 Now
remember, we are not the Word, but we are the Word. Uh-huh. Now, you got it? Jesus was not God, but He was God. He
was a Man, yet He was God. He could cry, and yet He could raise the dead. He
could cry for a man being dead and raise him back up again. He was
Jehovah-jireh, Jehovah-rapha, Jehovah Manasses; He was Jehovah, all completely.
He was Jehovah, and yet He was a Man.
He owned the earth, and made the earth, and had not a place to lay His head. He
said, "The birds that I made has got nests, and I haven't got a place to
lay my head.
The foxes that I created, has holes in the
ground, and I haven't even got one Myself even to be buried in." That's
right. He had to borrow somebody's grave, to be buried in.
Well, let’s face it, not only did he have to borrow a
grave to be buried in, and he borrowed a boat to sail in, but God borrowed the
body of His Son to manifest Himself in.
And you know, we have read many places
where brother Branham said God was in His Son, or God was in Christ, or God is
in His Son, but did you know that he also said, that “Jesus was in Jesus.”
From his sermon We would see Jesus 58-0612 P:55 brother
Branham said, “Look. When He was here on
earth, how many knows that that was the Pillar of Fire that followed the
children of
God's
only provided place of worship 65-1128M P:89 But we must find where He did
put His Name, for in It is His only provided Gate. Amen. Glory. Watch. Where
did He put His Name? In His Son. "Oh," you say, "now wait a
minute, Brother Branham. That was the Son, not the Father. "The son always
takes the name of his father in every case. I come to this earth in the name of
a Branham, because my father's name was Branham. Jesus said, "I came in My
Father's Name, and you received Me not." You wanting a Scripture on that?
God's provided place of worship 65-0425
P:30 Let's trace his name a little bit. The
prophet said His Name would be called Emmanuel. Now, Isaiah said that, about the 7th chapter.
And also in Matthew
1:23, said, "This was all done, that it
might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, 'His
Name shall be called Emmanuel, which is by interpretation, "God with
us." "Emmanuel, and His Name
was Jesus, God with us, with His
Father's Name. He came in His
Father's Name. There's where God
placed His Name, in His Son. That's
the only Place that you can worship Him. The only Place God will ever meet you, is in that Son which
was typed by the sacrificial lamb. And all down through the Old Testament, all
brought types of that one thing, that that place alone, God, alone met under
the sacrificial blood. Only place He met, the only place is He meets today;
it's not in the name of creed, or in a name of a denomination, name of a
church, or name of a group, or name of a society, but in the Name of Jesus Christ.
Show us the father 62-0722 P:64 God
IN His Son, do you believe He
was? He looked like God; He acted like God; He said He was God. He cried like
God; He healed like God; He died like a man; and He rose like God. He was God
manifested IN the flesh. God
was IN His Son. Do you
believe it? God was in His universe. You believe it? God is in His Word. You
believe it? God is IN His
Son. You believe it? Could you see Him IN
Christ? Jesus said, "When you see Me you see the Father. Why sayest thou,
Show Me the Father?" God was IN
the Son, reconciling the world to Himself. Now, God in His universe, you
believe it? God in His Word, you believe it? God IN His Son, you believe it?
Show us
the Father 61-0521 P:71 God
in His universe. You believe it? God is in His Word. Do you believe it? Watch
how He keeps His Word and confirms It. Look what He told Abraham. Look what He
told the apostles. Look what He told the prophets. Look how He promised in this
day. God's in His universe. God is in His Word. Now, God IN His Son. You believe God was in His Son? Now, we have
to hurry. God was IN
Christ, reconciling the world to Himself. You believe that? One comment
on God in His Son so we can hurry. I was talking to a woman not long ago that
belongs to a church that does not believe that Jesus was Divine. She believes
that He was just an ordinary man, a prophet, or something, but wasn't Divine.
He was either God or the greatest deceiver the world's ever had. He was God,
God manifested in a body called Jesus, His Son. Not just a man, not a teacher,
a philosopher, but He was God manifested in the flesh. I
Timothy 3:16 said, "Without controversy,
great is the mystery of godliness. For God was manifest IN the flesh, seen of Angels, received up into heaven."
Well, sure. He was God.
GOD WAS “IN” CHRIST
2
Corinthians 5: 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling
the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath
committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
Love
56-0726 P:3, All the Fullness of Godhead bodily dwelt
in Jesus Christ. We know that. He was all... He was God in complete. The dove
came down, as we preached the other night on "The Dove and the Lamb."
And the Dove abode in the Lamb. He stayed there. He was Emmanuel. God was IN His tabernacle, the Son of
God, which was Jesus, was the flesh of God, a tabernacle that God dwelt in here
on the earth. And now, that was Christ
and God became united. And that's
the way God could be seen. No man has seen the Father at any time, but the
only begotten Son has declared Him. See? In other words, God was in Christ, showing His attitude towards the people. See?
What He was, what God was, He was expressing
Hisself through Jesus His Son. See? As He dwelt IN Him, making Jesus and God... Jesus being the Tabernacle
that God was dwelling IN here
on earth... "A body has Thou prepared Me."
See? And God dwelt IN Jesus
Christ. And that made the Father and the Son united together, now, and become
One. Now, notice, now, what was IN
Christ, was the Fullness of the Spirit, the entire Fullness of God. God gave
Christ the Spirit without measure. But He's give It to us by measure. Christ
had all the measure, everything. He was Emmanuel. But you and I are little
cupfuls out of that Seed. But when the Spirit that's IN us, is of the same quality, not as much IN quantity, but the same
quality, 'cause it's part of the same Spirit. See?
Listen, “By One Spirit we are
all baptized into One Body”, the Body of Christ. That does not make
us Christ? That does not make us God. That just places us into the same Body,
the same family.
God's
eye 58-0225 P:13 And notice while they're lining the people
up. When Christ was here on earth, He said, "I came from God, and I go to
God." Do you know that to be true? How many believes that Christ was in
the wilderness with the children of
Deity of Jesus Christ the 49-1225 P:29 God
Himself, coming out of Spirit, went into Christ Jesus. And the Bible said that,
"God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself."
Is that right? God Himself, Jehovah, lived IN
Christ and was made a Kinsman to us, because He was born in human flesh like we
are. Is that right? The Blood cells were developed by God, and the flesh cells
were developed IN the womb of
Mary, that brought forth the Child. And God came down and lived IN human flesh, and was tempted
in every manner just like we are. Do you believe that? All right. Now, then
when He did that, He freely gave His Blood.
That is why Brother Branham could say that the blood was not Jewish blood
but the blood of God. Because “God was IN Christ reconciling the world unto Himself”.
IN WHOM
2 Peter 1: 17 For
he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice
to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, IN whom I am well pleased.
Mark 1: 11 And
there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, IN whom I am well pleased.
Calling Jesus on the scene 63-0804E P:16 He
said, "I and My Father are One. My Father dwelleth IN Me." When
John baptized Him on the river
Godhead Explained 61-0119A P:56 The
Spirit of God, like a dove, descended and a voice from heaven (which was above
Him) saying, "This is My beloved Son, IN
Whom I am pleased to dwell." (Really, the right translation... They got
the verb before the adverb, like all the foreigner is... "This
is My beloved Son, IN whom I am pleased to dwell IN." Or, "Whom I am pleased
to dwell." "In Whom I am pleased to dwell." ) That was God
coming INTO Jesus, and IN
Him was the fullness of the Godhead bodily.
QA on the seals 63-0324M P:108 Now,
in there it says, "This is my beloved Son, IN
Whom I am well pleased." You see? Now, that's wrote in the actual form of
the Greek, putting verb before adverb; but you notice here, it'd actually be
this... Now, just take the Word. See? The Bible says, in the translation of St.
James here: "This is My beloved Son in Whom I'm
pleased to dwell." But actually, if we'd say it like we'd say
it today: "This is My beloved Son IN Whom I'm pleased to dwell IN." You'd turn it around. See,
see? "This is My beloved Son IN
Whom I'm pleased to dwell." See? Now, we'd say it today: "This is My
beloved Son IN Whom I'm pleased to dwell IN,"
Matthew 17: 5 While
he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out
of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, IN whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
Matthew 12: 18 Behold
my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, IN
whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew
judgment to the Gentiles.
Matthew 3: 17 And
lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, IN whom I am well pleased.
And what about Jesus
own words, and His own testimony how that God was in Him?
IN ME
John
17: 23 I in them, and thou (THE FATHER) IN me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world
may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
John
17 : 21 That
they all may be one; as thou, Father, art IN
me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe
that thou hast sent me.
John
14 : 11 Believe
me that I am in the Father, and the Father IN
me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.
John
14 : 10 Believest
thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father IN me? the words that I speak unto you I speak
not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
John
10 : 38 But
if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and
believe, that the Father is IN me, and I in him.
John
14 : 20 At
that day ye shall know that I am IN my
Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
John 13: 31 Therefore,
when he was gone out, Jesus said, Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is
glorified IN him.
Notice that what Glory Jesus did have was actually the father being
glorified in His Son. God said he will not share His glory with anyone, and I
have often wondered how to reconcile that scripture where God said he would not
share his Glory with anyone, and yet Jesus prayed that the Father would restore
the glory He shared with the father before the world was.
Isaiah 42: 8 I
am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither
my praise to graven images.
Isaiah 48: 11
For mine own sake, even for mine own sake,
will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory
unto another.
God who
is rich in mercy 65-0119 P:36 The people sinned later by taking this same
thing that God had made an atonement for them, by the brass serpent, which
represented sin already judged, and they idolized that gift. And that sinned
again. "God will not share His glory with nobody." Therefore,
we can't have no two, three, four gods. There's only one God. He'll not share
His glory with anything else. He's God, alone (See?), so as the heathens have
many gods. We have the one God, and He will not share His glory with another;
neither will He let anything be an idol in front of Him. Even though He had
made an atonement for the people, and it was God's Word, it was right; but when
they become to idolizing that, then they got in trouble.
Is this
sign of the end sir 62-1230E P:25 We find out that there's many
things that God does, and that He doesn't reveal to His servants; and no
servant is greater than his Lord. And then, God will not share His glory with nobody.
He's God. And when a servant becomes a place that he tries to take the place of
God, then God takes his life and moves him away somewhere, or something. We
must remember that.
And yet we hear the prayer of Jesus in John
17: 5 where he says, And
now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had
with thee before the world was.
But Brother Branham tells us how to balance this out. And Actually if we
knew how to read our Bibles you would hear Jesus explain how He was to be
glorified with the Glory of the Father. He said, And now, O Father, glorify
thou me with thine own self, and that is the key. Then if He is glorified with the Father’s own self,
then it is the Father that actually receives the glory through His son
expressing the Father to the world.
Jesus
Christ the same yesterday 52-0810E P:22 God the Creator, made man.
And man fell, and then God the Creator was revealed to us IN His Son Christ Jesus, and He did the will of His Father. He went about doing good. Let's look
what kind of person He was now. We couldn't look for a, We read the Bible, and
we find out what He looked like. He was a great Person. What He, His look like,
not in His physical makeup, but what He was in His spiritual makeup. He was the Son of God. And He went
around, and He healed the sick, the lame. Do you all believe He did that? Well,
now. Did He do it at His leisure? I thought, I'd catch you on that, but I
didn't. Good teacher, Brother Boze. Ever who's been teach... No, He didn't. He
said, "It's not Me that doeth
the works; it's My Father." See, Him being the Son of God, did not claim to be a Divine healer. Is
that right? He said, "It's
the Father." No
flesh glories before God. It was the Father that did it.
So not even Jesus could take credit for what God was doing for after all,
it’s God that does it anyway.
The Son of God came to show us how to be sons. He said, It’s not me that
doeth the works but My Father that dwelleth in me, He doeth the works.
And again in John 5:17 He also said, My father worketh
hitherto, and I work. He also said, the things I speak my Father
commandeth me what to say, and thus I speak.
John 5: 19 Then
answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can
do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever
he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.
John 7: 16 Jesus
answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.
John 5: 30 I
can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just;
because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent
me.
John 4: 34 Jesus
saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish
his work.
John 8: 28 Then
said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know
that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me,
I speak these things.
John 14:10 Believest
thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak
unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth
the works.
Matthew 5: 16 Let
your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify
your Father which is in heaven.

true living church 51-0727 P:7 Now, Jesus the Son of God, said, "I
the Son of God can do nothing about that, for I can only do what My Father
shows Me to do. For, whatsoever the Son seeth (amen,), seeth the Father do,
these things also doeth the Son. For the Son... The Father showeth the Son
whatsoever things He doeth, and He will show you greater things than this, that
ye may marvel."
Now,
the Holy Spirit is here to fulfill the prophecy of the New Testament. Do you
believe it? Then let us be glad, for today is the great day of our Lord. Do not
be weary, you who are sick and afflicted. Do not be weary, you who are down
hearted. And you beloved ones who are setting here in chairs and on stretchers
and cots. According to medical science, you probably never get well. And the
dear doctors has maybe done all they know how to do to help you, but they're men
like I am. And God knows, if I had one bit of authority or power, I'd come
right down out of this platform; there wouldn't be a sick person left in here
in a few minutes. I would do it. And so would've my Master, when He passed by
Bethesda, and look at that great mass of ten thousand people laying there,
crippled, afflicted, and blind. But He said, "I can only do what My
Father shows Me to do." And
so is every mortal limited to the powers of God. For no flesh, even the Son
of God glories not before the Father, for He said, "It's
not Me that doeth the work; it's My Father that dwelleth in Me; He doeth the
works. He shows the Son what Himself doeth, and the Son does likewise." The
same Gospel, by the same God, is here tonight. Soon we're to go to
Colossians 1: 19 For
it pleased the Father that IN him should all fulness dwell;
Colossians
2 : 9 For
IN him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead
bodily.
John 13: 32 If
God be glorified in him, God shall also glorify him IN himself, and shall straightway glorify him.

John 4: 16 And
we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he
that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God IN
him.
John 1: 4 IN him was life; and the life was the light of
men.
And finally. I would
like to say, that if you do not understand the word IN and what it means,
perhaps it is because you are out, which means you are not in. And what would
that make you? It would make you serpent seed, because Lucifer was the first to go out from the
presence of the Lord, we see that in Revelations 12:7-8 And there was war in
heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought
and his angels, 8 And prevailed not; neither was
their place found any more in heaven.
And then we see the first seed of the
serpent in Cain that he too left the presence of the Lord. Genesis
4:16. Genesis 4: 16 And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD,
and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of
The apostle Paul tells
us in 2 Thessalonians that those who are not resting IN Christ at the end-time
will be destroyed from or out from the Presence.
2 Thessalonians 1:2 Grace
unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Notice that is where our grace and peace comes from. You don’t get it with
money. Money can not buy you grace and peace. It comes from God alone.
Peter said in 2 Peter 1:2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge
of God, and of Jesus our Lord, So we see that through the knowledge
of God and of Jesus Christ we are able to multiply that grace and peace.
And now in getting back to 2 Thessalonians 1:3 We
are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that
your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward
each other aboundeth; 4 So that we ourselves glory
in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your
persecutions and tribulations that ye endure: 5 Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of
God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer: 6 Seeing it is a
righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you; 7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when
the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
So we see the picture of the seven angels coming in
Glory which is the very opinion, assessment and judgment of God, in other
words, the opinion is what a judge writes, and he comes as the Supreme Judge,
and at that time he tells us to rest, and brother Branham said there is
relaxation under the seventh seal. And that is what the angels came to open,
those seven seals, which is nothing else but the Revelation of Jesus Christ. And
at this time the same word that bring mercy and thus relaxation, also brings
judgment, because the judge does not make the law, he only is to execute it,
which means he is to bring into manifestation the judgment based on the
breaking of the law.
And in this hour, the Supreme Judge comes 8 In
flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God,(that is those on the outside, not on the inside) and that obey not
the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: 9 Who shall be punished with
everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord,(now notice
this tells us that they shall go out from the presence of the Lord. OUT not IN.
They do not understand the benefits of IN so they go OUT. And notice what else
they go OUT from?) and from the glory of his power;(and that Glory is the doxa of God which is His
opinion, assessment and judgment. In other words, His very mind. Let this mind
be in you which was IN Christ
Jesus.) 10 When he shall come
to be glorified in his saints,(see there you are. It is in this hour
that the very mind of God is to come into His children, getting them ready for
the adoption, for without having the mind of the Father he can not put our name
on the checkbook.) and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among
you was believed) in that day. (Notice here that Paul is telling us that down the
road there will come a time when the Presence of God comes on the scene that
his Testimony will be believed in that day. And when brother Branham was
translated and brought into that dimension, he said, “I only said what Paul
said,” And all the people shouted, “we’re counting on that Brother Branham.”) (because our
testimony among you was believed) in that day. 11 Wherefore also we
pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:
12 That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified IN you, and ye IN him, according to
the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
So we see that we are
to receive the mind of God and in this hour the name that Christ received will
also be glorified in us at this hour. And how did Jesus receive that Name? By
Inheritance that’s how.
In Hebrews 1: 4 we read, Being
made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more
excellent name than they. So Jesus
received his name by inheritance. Then if we are to come as he came, then we
are at the hour when we are to receive our Father’s name as well. And what did Jesus do when receiving the name
of His Father? Hebrews 2: 12 tells us, Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, IN the midst of the church will I sing praise
unto thee. Well, if he is going to be IN the midst of the church,
then it has to be at the time of His presence. Let us bow our hearts and our
heads in prayer.
