The Reality of the Word of Life

Melchisedec 156   Now, we've had two thousand years of teaching, coming down through the Roman Catholic church, after the apostles. Then we come down through the Roman Catholic, the Greek, and so forth, on down to Luther's age, and Wesley, what-more, nine hundred different organizations. Coming down, they had all these ages' teaching. (Notice brother Branham is telling us here that the teaching alone won’t cut it. All that has produced is 900 plus denominations) Now, He promised just before the end time would come that the picture of Sodom and Gomorrah would again... "As it was in the days of Sodom, so shall it be in the coming of the end time, the Son of man will reveal Himself again." [Blank spot on tape--Ed.] "Yet a little while and the world won't see Me no more, yet ye shall see Me, for I (a personal pronoun)(notice here that he is being very specific that it speaks of the Person, not just the essence of spirit, or the baptism, but the very Baptizer Himself, the Person of God will come to visit.)--I will be with you, even in you to the consummation, the end of the world. I'll be with you." He's the same yesterday, today, and forever. You see--you see the Samaritan was actually--from my last night's sermon--was Hagar (See?) a perverted type. The Jew was Sarah—or was Sarahite; but the Gentile is of Mary the Royal Seed, Abraham’s Royal Seed. (Now, we could take a whole study just on that thought, but for today let’s read on.)

 158   Now, it's promised that in these last days that this same God, this same Christ, would come back here and reveal Himself as Son of man. Why? He's the same yesterday, today, and forever. And if He let those Jews go by with--and give them that Messiahic sign, and then come to the end of the Gentile's teachings and let them just go in on theology, He would be unjust. He's got to do the same thing, because the Bible said in 13--Hebrews 13:8, He is the same. And He's promised in Malachi 4 and all the different Scriptures that the last days the church would be setting just exactly like it is today and the world would be. Look at the world today. Look at the Sodom condition. Look at the earthquakes in divers places and the things that's taking place. Look at the church in the mess it's in of Babylon.

Now, this morning I would like to take a short message on just one thought that brother Branham says here. Notice that Brother Branham is speaking on the teachings of the last 2,000 years and the 7 church ages or the ages God dealt with the Gentiles. And I want you to notice, he said that it would not be right nor just if God required the Jews to have to make judgment based on the Word manifested before them, and then let the Gentiles go in based on just teaching.

BELIEVEST THOU THIS? 51-0506A E-47 When God takes the Holy Spirit and brings that Word to you and makes It alive to you, a reality that your faith, stand up and claim it. You don't have to feel nothing, see nothing, or nothing; you have to believe something.

MELCHISEDEC THE GREAT PRINCE 55-0109M e-27 The baptism of the Holy Spirit doesn't become any emotional, worked-up substance. It becomes a reality of the indwelling Presence of the Lord Jesus Christ to change the life.

THEN JESUS CAME AND CALLED 64-0417 E-2 May they be able tonight, by something that's done or said, that would bring Christ a real reality to them, insomuch that their entire life would be dedicated to Him and to His service.

Now, what I am going to say next may not sit well with some people, but I whole heartedly agree with what Brother Branham is saying. God is not looking at whether you can parrot brother Branham and say the same things he said. That is not what it is all about. Brother Vayle told me years ago there were brothers “who had it but didn’t have it”, and I know exactly what he meant. And when Brother Branham said you could have the right teaching and the wrong spirit, I believe he hit the nail right on the head. No speaking of disposition, but your attitude towards that Word.

Jesus Christ the same  63-0627  P:26 Now, we can talk about the resurrection; we can speak of it. But if it isn't a reality, it becomes just a mere myth; it's a story. But if it's proven that it is the truth, then we are among the people most happy, and I'm glad to be with them. Now, if Jesus Christ will appear before us tonight, and we can see by God-given principles, and by the very acts of His Being, that He's here, then we should at least accept Him, make Him welcome. Now, that's a great big statement, but we have a great big God that keeps every one of His Words. And when we find anything in the Bible, hang your soul on it. It's the Truth. Just stay right with what God promised. God will do.

What I have seen over the years in this message is the brethren, no matter what camp they are in, will just spit out their teaching by quoting it right or quoting it wrong, and it seems to me that many times I could find a better atmosphere among rank heathens, than I can find among the fellow ministers in this Message. Try disagreeing once just to test the man’s spirit and see what sort of person they are. Try it sometime and see if you don’t get the cold shoulder or dead silence. That is not the way brother Branham conducted Himself. NO, rather that is more like the fanatics that followed Martin Luther, and when he had to go into hiding to save his life, those fanatics rose up and took over the movement of the Message of that hour, and Martin Luther had to come out from hiding to put everything back in the order he had brought it to. He told the people, ”when I used the sword, it was the Word that was my offense and the Word which was My defense.” And that is the way it should be. Then the personalities are not involved, but the Word only.

Now, listen to the words brother Branham is saying here. Now, we've had two thousand years of teaching, coming down through the Roman Catholic church, after the apostles. In other words the teaching down through the ages has produced just one thing. A Sodomite condition. Why? Because their teaching was wrong. Then in the next paragraph he says, Now, it's promised that in these last days that this same God, this same Christ, would come back here and reveal Himself as Son of man. Why? He's the same yesterday, today, and forever. (Now notice this next thought he lays out here.) And if He let those Jews go by with -- and give them that Messiahic sign, and then come to the end of the Gentile's teachings and let them just go in on theology, He would be unjust. He's got to do the same thing, because the Bible said in 13--Hebrews 13:8, He is the same.

Notice, He’s got to DO the same thing because He is the same God and He changes not. Now, what He is telling us here is that “it is not just teaching”. It is not just Theology. Because if that were right, then seminaries would be ok if they taught the correct understanding. But What he is saying here is that God doesn’t base your salvation on your theology, nor on what camp you align yourself with. What He does judge you by is your reaction to the Word when it is correctly interpreted. And How does God interpret His Word? By bringing it to pass. In other words, God comes down and performs the same scene out in the Omega that He did in the Alpha, and He then judges you by your response to that enactment, or unfolding of His Word. Our passivity to the Activity is what God looks at and He judges us then by the activity which comes forth from our passivity. In other words, if He (God) acts, and you watch that act, then God watches your act to see what your reaction to His action is going to be.

PHILIPPIANS 2:16 Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ,

You see, the Word should oproduce Life. But if it’s only a mental thing it never will produce Life.

Have not I sent thee  62-0124  P:87 And when God plants His promise in you and it becomes a living reality, then something is different. You just don't go and say, "Yes, I believe it." Now, that's all right. The devil believes it like that. But it's confirmed to you, and the Word becomes alive in you. Then you begin to see what it is. Yes

And until that Word comes alive in you, you can’t see what it is. Look, you get the active before the passive and you’ve got the cart before the horse. But when you have genuinely recognized the Activity of God, and you have sat passively by, earnestly observing and watching, then when the time comes your passivity moves into activity, because that Word is alive all around you and your whole testimony is about the Word coming alive, and you are a part of that Promise. Look, maybe I can explain it to you this way. God came down to Noah with a Message. It is going to rain, build an ark to save your household. Noah preached that very message. Only a handful listened closely enough that their passive faith moved into an active faith and they helped him build the Ark.

Everyone else he preached to did not come into the ark. They did not want to get involved in that message of that hour. They might have watched him work. They might have sat around and talked about what He was doing. But the only ones who got involved were those who actually believed that Message, and entered into it. Those who worked with him in the building it, whether directly or indirectly such as his wife and daughter in-laws, who fed the men, and perhaps helped to fill the wood with pitch, they entered into the ark. Everyone else just sat around and talked about that weird man up there building that ship to save his family from the floods that were supposed to be coming. And I am sure they talked in much derision. All the others who just sat back and watched, never really entered into that Message, because they never entered that ark. We do not know how many might have sat on the fence as it were watching, but when the day came, those who had entered in what He was preaching, went into what he was preaching, namely that ark. Those to whom that message was a reality were the ones who were saved.

Greatest battle ever fought P:59 It must be accepted in the mind; then it's believed with the heart; then the Word of God becomes a reality; then every senses of soul and body is just scoured out with the Holy Spirit. Then you're sense of God; you're conscience of God; everything that's godly flows through you. There's not a doubt anywhere. There's nothing can rise up.

In Moses day, nearly 2 million people followed a prophet who came with many signs and wonders. The reason why so many perished is because they did not understand what it was all about. They were caught up by the phenomena, but not the message. They did not understand the message.

Psalms Chapter  103  Verse 7 He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.

Moses knew what it was about. God made known His ways, His reasoning to Moses, but to the people, they only knew the acts of God, what they could see with there eyes, naturally but not the eyes of the heart. They did not know nor did they understand what it was all about. Therefore they were not very interested in the Message, no, not as much as they were in the signs and wonders. That is what moved them and motivated them. And that only! But because they did not understand what that message was all about, they soon perished in the wilderness journey.

Jesus said in Matthew 13:18, Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. 19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. (Now, remember the word heart means understanding or figuratively the mind) This is he which received seed by the way side. 20 But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receive it; 21 Yet hath he not root in himself, (there is no depth in him, he is just a shallow believer, and so he ) endures for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. (In other words this is the guy who sits by for a long time. But when the battle begins to wage over the Word, he gets his feeling hurt, or gets tired of the battle and for the sake of peace gives in to the enemy, or to the political structure in the message. But now let’s look at this 3^rd type of believer. ) 22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. (Notice, it doesn’t choke him, no not for one moment, but it chokes the Word, and that Word becomes unfruitful. This is the worst type, because this is the Judas Iscariot type who for the sake of money, jobs, the short term riches, turns away from the Word of God as it is revealed. He is the one who sells out for a mess of Pottage. He is the one who sells out for money, women or popularity. He is the one who will not stand still long enough for the Word to sink in and become a reality to him. He’s just so busy, busy, busy all the time, and he takes no thought about what the Message is all about.)

23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, (In other words, this is the one who will listen attentively, studying the Word, and applying it to his life, desiring to know what the Word is all bout. Notice,) he that heareth the word and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. He’s the one who searches the Word for the meaning of life, He is the one who actually enters into that Word, and that Word enters into him, and becomes a reality to him.

Expectations  53-0507  P:12 Let us bow our heads a moment. Our heavenly Father, thank Thee for Thy Word and may Thy Word become a living reality here, tonight. The Word dwelling in our flesh... Every Word of God is a Seed. And every Seed sown correctly in the right kind of ground will bring forth just exactly what it's supposed to. Corn will bring corn, wheat will bring wheat. And every Divine promise of God will bring forth what it promised. May the Seed fall in good fertile ground, bring forth a hundredfold for we ask it in Jesus' Name.

This is the one who not only understands what it is all about, but puts his whole body, soul and spirit into what that message stands for. He bears fruit. Remember, brother Branham defined the fruit as the teaching for the season. Then if this person hears that message, he will bear the fruit of that message. Noah built the ark. Moses not only talked the talk but walked the walk. Those that entered in with him, walked the walk. “If you walk in the Light, (That’s the light of that pillar of fire) as He is in that Light, remember, He is not that Light but that light bore record of His Shekinah Glory, or His Shekinah Presence.

Identified Christ of all ages  64-0617  P:21 And until you come in behind that badger skin, until you get out of your old skin, your old thoughts, your old creeds, and come into the Presence of God; then the Word becomes a living reality to you; then you're awakened to the Shekinah Glory; then the Bible becomes a new Book, then Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. You're living in His Presence, eating the shewbread that's only provided that day for believers, priests only. "And we are priests, royal priesthood, a holy nation, peculiar people, giving spiritual sacrifices to God." But you must come in, to behind the veil to see the unveiled God. And God is unveiled; that's His Word made manifest.

Therefore, if you do not see that unveiling, that Word can never become a reality to you. That is why brother Branham said there had to be a manifesting of the Word. He said, God did it to the Jews and He is obligated to do it for the Gentiles. I believe, the Teaching is not enough. We’ve had teaching for 2,000 years and all it produced was confusion. What we needed to make the Word of God come alive and become a Living reality was for God to come in this hour and unveil Himself to us, and that is why the Parousia is so important. That is why the Godhead is so important. That is why knowing that Alpha must become Omega is so important. Because when you can see what God has done in this hour, and you can look back and see what He did in the Alpha, you then know what is going to happen next, and you are part of what is happening because you have entered into it by the Living Word, becoming alive to you.

I JOHN 5:20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, [even] in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. So we see the understanding came by seeing the manifestation of the Spirit through flesh. I JOHN 1:1 ¶ That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; 2 (For the life was manifested, and we have seen [it], and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) 3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship [is] with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

So by walking with Him in that Light, you will never leave His Presence, and His presence will never leave you, and that surely brings you into His Rest, just as the children of Israel entered into the Promised Land by following the Pillar of Fire. But notice that not all who followed that Pillar of Fire entered in. Why? Because they grew weary and restless and forgot what it was all about. And I think sometimes that is what I see happening today. We forget that we are in a warfare for our very survival. And so we begin to let up and then wham, it will hit you faster than you know and then you’re gone.

Presuming  62-0408  P:23 How can we fellowship with God 'less we fellowship in His Word? Because the Word is God. And the Word's made flesh when it becomes you. "If ye abide in Me and My Word in you, then ask what you will." There you are. See? But the Word's got to abide in here. If it don't, the shower falls, and, why, it can't produce, because you don't believe it. No matter how much you profess to believe it, you got to believe it. All right.

COLOSSIANS 3:1 ¶ If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, [who is] our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

Anointed ones at end time  65-0725M  P:168 For it is impossible for those which were once enlightened and didn't move on with the Word as it come to pass..." They're dead, gone. "And the thorns and thistles which is nigh unto rejection, whose end is to be burned..."

Anointed ones at end time  65-0725M  P:160 Remember, you couldn't feed a Lutheran back in them days (you can now) Catholic carrion. No, sir. He had fresh meat. That was that church age. You couldn't feed Methodists, Lutheran message. Oh, no. He didn't want that carrion; it's rotten. See the Life had done left it and went into something else. That's the old stalk that's dead back there. The Life's moving on. Neither can you feed the Bride of Jesus Christ Pentecostalism. No, in deed. Maggot blowed organizations, nothing doing... No, no. For the promise is, "And before that great and terrible day shall come, I'll send unto you Elijah the prophet. He will restore the hearts of the children back to the faith of the fathers again." All these promises have been made in the Bible, "I will do it," and there the eagles will gather. "All that the Father has given to Me will come to Me."

II PETER 1:2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that [pertain] unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Anointed ones at end time  65-0725M  P:93 Reprobates concerning--not reprobates in living, they're fine, cultured men. Now, notice, when Moses went down to Egypt with a message of THUS SAITH THE LORD, and was vindicated, called on Israel, which was a people, not a church... Israel was a people; they never was a church, 'cause the word "church" means "called out ones." They were the people of God. Then when they become anointed under the Word and called out, they become the church of God, and then backslid, because they believed not the Word of God and listened to a false prophet. I hope that sinks in. Israel being a people of God, come out under the hand of God, anointed with the Word--with the power of God, seeing the signs and wonders of God; and then when God was moving on with them, a false prophet come in, anointed, and taught something contrary to the original Word of God, that they heard; and every one of them perished in the wilderness besides three people.

And if that is not exactly what the church is doing today, even right in this message. Did you know there are men in this message, big shots, so called, that are teaching the people, “thus saith the Bride” and getting the people all worked up into what a glorious bunch they are! That is not the True Bride, but that bunch of impersonators who have crept in and have led silly women, churches laden with sin, away into false worship. There focus is not on the One Who has come down in our midst, but there focus is self centered. Look at me, and what I have done, and is not that exactly their cry in Matthew 7.

Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

2 Timothy 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof (And what is the Power of God? It’s His Word according to Romans 1:16, and Hebrews 1:3, 4;12 AND WHAT GIVES THE Word Power? The teaching of it, the Doctrine. Luke 4:32 And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power. He gave them strong meat.)

2 Timothy 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof from such turn away. 6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women (these are churches because woman always represents a church in the Bible.) laden with sins (churches laden with sin which is unbelief ), led away with divers lusts, 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. (Never able, that means they are incapable of coming to a knowledge of the Truth. Well there goes your free moral agency right out the door. These are ordained not to know, it is impossible for them to come to the Knowledge of the Truth. The it doesn’t matter how much you pour that word into them, they will never get it. And how do I know that is the correct interpretation of that Scripture, because brother I’ve seen it come to pass. Like brother Branham said, you can take that water of the Word and just pour that medicine right down their throat and they will just spit it right back in your face. Just like giving a child that bad tasting medicine. They’ll spit it every time.)

Knoweth it not  65-0815  P:69 Someday yonder at the judgment bar... I've tried to pour the medicine in and hold it with my hands, and you spit it right straight back out between your fingers. But God will judge them someday. That's THUS SAITH THE LORD. It hasn't been a bunch of foolishness or some crazy old men all worked up. It isn't. Because it's the Word of the Lord. And a real genuine Christian will cope with that…

2 Timothy 3: 8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: (and how did Jannes and Jambres withstand Moses? They did the same thing.) men of corrupt minds (Corrupt what? Corrupt minds), reprobate concerning the faith (The Greek word here for reprobate is adokimos which means not able to stand the test, and the test is concerning THE FAITH which is THE REVELATION, and there is only One Revelation, One Faith and that is Who that One Lord Is.). 9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was. 10 But thou hast fully known my doctrine, (There you are, you who know my doctrine, you are the ones who will pass the test, and you also know my) manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience, You are the ones who are capable of putting it altogether because you were ordained to know.

Anointed ones at end time  65-0725M  P:136 Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many shall say unto me in that day, Lord, Lord, have not we prophesied... (Prophets, anointed ones. That's right. "Wasn't we a prophet? Wasn't we anointed, anointed one. Have not I prophesied in Thy Name? And in Thy Name have not I cast out devils?" How can you do that and refuse to be baptized in Jesus Name? Oh, my. See how deceiving? Right up to that very point, then drop back. They go right up to the Word, then drop back. Now, watch this. We get this out, just a minute.) Many will say unto me... Lord, Lord have not we prophesied... ("We been prophets." Yeah, I spoke of that in Matthew 24:24.)... and in thy name... cast out devils? and in thy name done many--many... works? And then will I confess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, you that work iniquity. ("When it was put right before you, and you seen it, and seen it moving, seen it was the Word, and for your denominational sake you just held into it. I never even knew you. I don't care how many devils you cast out, how many you did this and that, I knew nothing about you.") Balaam said, "I prophesied right in Your Name; and it come to pass." "That's exactly right, but when it come to the Word you refused it." Oh, brother. See the deceiving part? Not prophet exactly, but with the Word, true Word, vindicated Word made manifest. "You workers of iniquity..."

God of this evil age  65-0801M  P:72 There's only two classes of people spoke of in the New Testament: the children of God and the children of the devil. Did you know that? You want to put a Scripture down for it? I John 3:10, if you want the Scripture. I'm reading it right here, got it wrote out. All right. All right. In Ephesians 2:2 they are called the children of disobedience, like Eve was, disobedient to God's Word. The children of obedience and disobedience have nothing in common. Then how can the Bride of Christ associate in a denomination when one's disobedient and the other obedient? How can one be the Word and the other one perverted word? How can a prostitute and a clean woman walk together in agreement? They can't do it. They have no fellowship at all. Come out from amongst it. It's of the devil; it's the mark of the beast, heading right into it now, all denominations; I don't care whose it is. God's taking, not a denomination, a people for His Name. A denomination won't receive these truths, it'll take a individual person that can see God, and look at His Word, and believe It, and belong to no organization, but live for God, not for his organization of intellectual wisdom of some bishop or something has taught them. That's right.

Third seal the  63-0320  P:75 And then here we are today, and like yesterday and today announcing on the radio that in the Baptist churches and so forth that we're not to take in with the Catholics, but we're to kind of fellowship with them. See? And right here the message going out right here to stay away from that poison thing. See, see? "How can two walk together 'less they be agreed?" Light and dark can't fellowship together. When light comes in, dark goes out. See? It can't--the most powerful... You can't put light out with dark, but you can put dark out with light. That's right. And He is the Light, and He is the Word. See? Now, there you are, right straight back. You can't make it lie or do anything wrong. It comes right straight back to this spot again. Yes, sir.

ONENESS 62-0211 110 Can night have unity with day? Can a believer have unity with an infidel? Can a man who believes in all the Word of God have a unity with them who just believes part of the Word of God? God wants separators.

WISDOM VERSUS FAITH 62-0401 40-3 But faith only grows in one vitamin. It only has one vitamin. Don't have to have any mixture at all. Faith grows in one Vitamin; that's the Word! That's the only thing that faith can grow in, is the Word. And the only way that it can grow is because it believes the Word, and it has to take all the Word and believe It's Truth. And faith vitamin is spelled in a little four-letter word, L-i-f-e--Life! It has Vitamin L, faith has. Faith has Vitamin L.

I AM THE RESURRECTION AND LIFE 52-0810A E-20 There's righteous people walking in all the Light of the Lord; that's the kind of a home that God can get into. Now, if you're serving all kinds of--of parties, and beer, and everything in your house, God will never visit you there. That's right. But if you got a home that's cleaned up, and living for God, with prayer, the Bible open, and a few tear stains on it, God can visit you. That's right. 'Cause you've opened up a channel that He can come to.

FIRST SEAL THE 63-0318 131-5 {98} Now, but the true Bride will be made up of thousands times thousands of people, but it will be the elect out of every church age. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10 ¶ And if Christ [be] in you, the body [is] dead because of sin; but the Spirit [is] life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. 12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. 13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
