WHO IS THIS MELCHISEDEC #54

The Cross and The Gene Seed

JOHN 1:1  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 ¶  And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

JOHN 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12 But as many as received (Lambano, to lay hold of, to appropriate to oneself, to give one access to oneself, to experience) him, to them He gave power (exousia = authority, right, judicial decision or judgment, in other words, the ability to make a right decision, a right choice) to become (ginomai, To come to fulfillment as) the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.  (This tells you it was not your choosing, neither did you have anything to do wit it, but simply you were chosen and ordained by God to be fulfilled as Son of God). 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Now, this morning I would like to take the next paragraph of WHO IS THIS MELCHISEDEC  65-0221E  and continue with takig brother Branham's Message back to the Word of God. Now, let's read from PP. 46   Now, in the beginning God dwelled alone with His attributes as I spoke of this morning. That's His thoughts. There was nothing, just God alone. But He had thoughts. Just like a great architect can set down in his mind, and draw out what he thinks he's going to build. Now, he cannot create; he can take something that's been created and make it in a different form,(but he cannot create),  'cause God's the only One can create. But he gets in his mind what he's going to do, and that's his thoughts; that's his desires. Now, it's a thought, and then he speaks it, and it's a word then. A thought, when it's expressed, it's a word. A thought expressed is a word. But it has to be a thought first. So it's God's attributes; then it becomes a thought, then a word.

48    Notice, those who have tonight Eternal Life, was with Him and in Him, in His thinking, before there ever was an Angel, star, Cherubim, or anything else. That's eternal. And if you have Eternal Life, you always was, not your being here, but the shape and form that the infinite God...(I would like to stop here for a moment and reflect upon these words.)

Brother Branham is telling us that if you have Eternal Life, you always were. Oh, not this body, This body had a beginning. But notice what he says,  And if you have Eternal Life, you always was, not your being here, but the shape and form. What you are in your stature, you were in the mind of God before the beginning of the universe. In other Words, what you are in your statue, in your frame, is what God designed before the very beginning. That is why you should be very content with the body God gave you. Because after all, He designed you. It was God Who shaped your form. God made you the way you are because that is the way His mind thought of you to begin with.

Why is it that we as a people are so simple minded and so gullible that we will allow the media to tell us that we need to reshape out bodies. Why are we so obsessed as a people with making our bodies into someone else's form or shape.  Learn to be happy with the body God designed just for you. Every one of you are quite unique from each other. Some of you may have a different shaped nose from the other,  or different shaped ears, and even in our torso, we have different shapes. Now, I am not saying that we should not try to keep the shape God gave us. But to change that shape is wrong. And Brother Branham said, And if you have Eternal Life, you always was, not your being here, but the shape and form. In other words, if God designed it, you should be content with it.

And if He isn't infinite, He isn't God. God has to be infinite. We're finite; He's infinite. And He was omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent. If He isn't, then He can't be God: knows all things, (He knows what is happening in all places at all times) all places because of His omnipresence. Omniscient makes Him omnipresent.(Now, notice the next thought here, Brother Branham says,) He is a being; He's not like the wind. He is a being; He dwells in a house, but being omniscient, knowing all things, makes Him omnipresent, because He knows everything that's going on. There can't be a flea bat its eyes but what He knowed it.(And why do you think that is? Because he designed it that way. He designed each flea that will ever live, and he programmed how many times it would bat it's eye, so to speak. And He made them all different. That's our Omniscient God)) And He knowed it before there was a world, how many time it'd bat it's eyes and how much tallow it had in it, before there ever was a world. That is infinite. We can't comprehend it in our minds, but that's God, and God is infinite.

(Now, let's catch the next thing brother Branham tells us here. He says,   50 And remember, you, your eyes, your statue, whatever you was, you were in His thinking at the beginning. And the only thing that you are is the expression word. (I like that terminology he uses here. He says, And the only thing that you are is the expression word Noticed, not the expressed Word, but the expression Word. Jesus was the Expressed Word. You and I are the Expression Word. The word EXPRESSION according to Webster's New World Dictionary in speaking of genetics, means the manifestation of a trait, caused by a particular gene. And how beautifully that fit's with what Brother Branham is telling us here.) After He thought it, He spoke it, and here you are. If it isn't, if you wasn't in His thinking, there's no way at all for you ever to be there, for He's the One that gives Eternal Life. (Then if what brother Branham is telling us here, if you don't like the body you have now as far as the form and shape, you had better get used to it, because that is the form and shape that God gave you, and that is the one you will have  for all eternity. Now, I am not saying the 40 year old you or the 50 year old you that is falling apart at the seams. But what you were in your prime, somewhere between 16 and 20 years old is the way you will be throughout all eternity unless you had destroyed your form before that age somehow through over eating, or drugs, or some other way.)

Brother Branham continues, You remember how we read the Scriptures, "Not him that willeth, or him that runneth, but God..." And that His predestination might stand true, He could choose before anytime who... God's sovereign in His choosing, did you know that? God's sovereign. Who was back yonder to tell Him a better way to make the world? Who would dare to tell Him He was running His business wrong? Even the very--the very Word Itself, very sovereign... Even the revelation is sovereign.

He reveals to whom He will reveal.(In other words, if God doesn't choose to reveal Himself to you, no matter how much you study, no matter how much you try, you will never know Him that way.

MATTHEW 13:10  And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? 11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. 12  For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. 13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. 14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: 15    For this people's heart is waxed gross, and [their] ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with [their] eyes, and hear with [their] ears, and should understand with [their] heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. 16 But blessed [are] your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

MARK 4:10 And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable. 11 And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without , all [these] things are done in parables: 12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and [their] sins should be forgiven them. (Now the Greek word for the word without is the word EXO, which means: on the outside or strange. We see the word use in the following parable that Jesus tells in Luke 13.)

LUKE 13:23  Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, 24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. 25  When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: 26 Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. 27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all [ye] workers of iniquity. 28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth (That's tribulation, and notice what Jesus says as He continues…), when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you [yourselves] thrust out. 29 And they shall come from the east, and [from] the west, and from the north, and [from] the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God. 30 And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last. (That speaks of the order of the resurrection). The first age to go down is the last one to come forth, and the last age to go down is the first one to come forth).

Seven Church Ages - 54-0512  Now the Cloud He's coming in is not a cloud, like a thunderhead, but it's a Cloud of Glory He's coming in. See? Now, when Jesus was overshadowed by God on Mount Transfiguration, Clouds overshadowed Him and His raiment. See? And when Elijah would come down, a cloud come down and received him up, not a not a thunderhead, but a Cloud of Glory. His great glorious Presence will strike the earth. He cometh in Clouds! Oh, I love that.

Clouds, there'll be wave after wave of His Glory will come across the earth - and the resurrection of the saints shall come. … THEN HE SAYS   A great wave of that same Spirit and a sshhewww, wave after wave - He that was last will be the first. He that was first will be last. I kinda see it that way...that's the order of the resurrection. I won't know nobody in the generation before me or the generation after me. I'll know those in the generation with me. Every generation will come successfully right as it went down.  They which were last will be first. Sure, that's me. See? I'll know my people, the next time my dad and his people, my grandfather and his people, on down like that, wave after wave after wave after wave. And the saints will rise from everywhere. Won't that be wonderful, Amen.  That makes the old people feel young again, yes. Now notice closely, for I come to you in a Cloud, and every eye shall see Him, no matter how far back they died, they'll see Him.

Now Wednesday night we spoke on the time of the resurrection and notice how what Jesus said ties right into our Message from Wednesday night where we showed how many people were actually witnesses of the resurrection in the Alpha, and yet the question comes up, could there be a people who will know the resurrection is on and will they be thrust out into weeping and gnashing of teeth which is the tribulation period? Remember, "not all that say, Lord, Lord will enter in, but He that doeth the will of the Father."

Remember, there were over 500 witnesses of the first resurrection at one time, and the scripture tells us that a great number of people actually saw the dead saints which had arisen, walking the streets of Jerusalem. And yet at the end of that first age the admonition went forth in the book of Revelations to that first church age, "Nevertheless I have [somewhat] against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. 5    Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent."

That is why we read earlier from John 1:12 But as many as received Him, (The word received is the Greek word Lambano, which means to lay hold of, to appropriate to oneself, to give one access to oneself, to experience) and John is talking of him, to them He gave power (He gave exousia = He gave authority, He gave the right, He gave the judicial decision, He gave the judgment, in other words, He gave the ability to make a right decision, He gave  the ability to make a right choice. And what is that right choice?) to become (to ginomai, to come to fulfillment as) the sons of God,) Brother Branham goes to say, The very revelation itself is sovereign in God. That's how people pound at things, and jump at things, and hit at things, and not knowing what they're doing. God is sovereign in His works.

52    Now, we find Him at the beginning, His attributes. And now, you were with Him then. Then is when the Book of Life comes into view. Now, we read over here in Revelations the 13th chapter, the 8th verse, that the beast that comes upon the earth in these last days will deceive all those people on the earth whose names were not written in the Lamb's Book of Life before the foundation of the world. Think of it. Before Jesus was ever born, four thousand years before He came on earth, and several thousand years before you come on earth, Jesus in God's mind died for the sins of the world, and the Book of Life was made; and your name was put on that Book of Life before the foundation of the world. That's the Bible truth. See? Your name was ordained of God and placed on the Book of Life before the foundation of the world. You were there in His attributes. You don't remember it, now, because you're just a part of His life.

You are a part of God when you become a son or a daughter of God, just as you are a part of your earthly father. That's right. You are... The male carries the hemoglobin, the blood. And when that has gone in the egg, then you become a part of your father, and your mother is a part of your father also. So you're all a part of your father. Glory. That lets the denomination out altogether. Certainly does. God in all, the only place...

Now, notice he said, Your name was ordained of God and placed on the Book of Life before the foundation of the world. You were there in His attributes. You don't remember it, now, because you're just a part of His life.  You are a part of God when you become a son or a daughter of God, just as you are a part of your earthly father.

And remember the Life is in the male, and the Life we now have was first in our heavenly Father if we have eternal life in us. Now, brother Branham is telling us that who we are began as a thought in God, just as when our earthly father has a desire to have a child, he consummates his thought with an act in his flesh with his wife (the bedding ground) and out from him comes forth life in a expression of Love, which results in an offspring).

He said, Jesus in God's mind died for the sins of the world, and the Book of Life was made; and your name was put on that Book of Life before the foundation of the world.

Then if our name was in that Book of Life before the World was even framed, then we had to be a part of God. An expression Word as brother Branham put it, and as Webster says, The word EXPRESSION in speaking of genetics, means the manifestation of a trait, caused by a particular gene.

And in the Book of Revelations, when it speaks of the Lamb of God being slain from before the foundations of the world, it speaks also of those whose names were written in the Lambs Book of Life. Then we ought to know that when God, the great architect and designer planned out His family, He planned out for our Older brother Jesus to go to the Cross on our behalf to redeem back all of God's other Seed that had been taken captive by satan. The Word Redeem means to buy back, and only those who belonged to God in the first place can be bought back. None others have that privilege.

Therefore if we trace back those last few moments in Calvary, we will see an older Brother Who struggled and laid down His own Life for His Brethren. In fact when Jesus was Speaking of his own Love, He prophecied what that love would be willing to do when He said in, JOHN 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

QUESTIONS.AND.ANSWERS_  JEFF.IN  COD  WEDNESDAY_  59-1223

498-129    His love did it. His love paid for my sins. His love taken it away. Love is the most powerful force there is. Take a husband that really loves his wife, he'd die for her freely. And brotherly love... There was a man, a certain man, comes to this church once in a while from up in the country. Was setting at his brother's house the other day. He said "What if something would happen to Brother Bill?" He said, "Gladly would I stick out my chest to catch a bullet for him." See? Die for you. That's love. Greater love has no man than them that will lay down his life for his brother. See?

498-131    In love, chosen us in love before the foundation of the world... Now, watch: Having predestinated us... (Now, there's the word "predestinated.")... Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will. What about that, Brother Mike? Isn't that wonderful? He loved you. He loved you before there was a world. He knowed your nature; He knowed your weaknesses; He knowed your habits. He knowed all about you, what you was going to be. (I'd like to stop right here for a moment and say this. Just think, God knew you before you even came to earth for testing. He knew how you would struggle! He knows your weaknesses even better than you do. He knows your habits both good and bad even better than you do, and He still Loves you so much that even before you had a chance to do good or evil, he sent His Son, His eldest Son, to die on your behalf, even before you came and committed any sin, He knew you and Loved you so much, that He laid out the great plan, to Redeem you back before you could ever go astray.) And then, when He looked all over the great universe, as it was, He said, "I choose you."(Choose you for what? Chose you to be conformed to the Image of His eldest Son.)

ROMANS 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose. 29 ¶  For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate [to be] conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. 31    What shall we then say to these things? If God [be] for us, who [can be] against us? 32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? [It is] God that justifieth. 34  Who [is] he that condemneth? [It is] Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? [shall] tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

And God proved His Love for us by sacrificing His Only begotten Son so that you and I would never again be separated from His presence.

And when He did that, before there ever was a speck of life, then you're eternal with God. When you receive the Holy Ghost, then you become eternal, because you have a--you're with God, you're part of God. Can you see what I mean? You are as eternal as God is, because you're...   499-133    I'm as much Branham as my father was a Branham, because I'm a blood of a Branham. I'm a Branham with my father, because I was borned of my father. I'm a Branham with him. You're a Wood, because of your father being Wood. You're as much Wood as Jim Wood is; you're just Banks Wood. Amen. Oh, my. You're a Neville because that your father was a Neville. You're just as much Neville as he was Neville. Glory. We're just as eternal as God is, 'cause we are a part of God, sons and daughters of God by Eternal Life, and can never perish. "I'll raise him up in the last days."

499-134    No wonder when they was fixing to cut Paul's head off out there... He had to walk that death route. He wrote that last letter to Timothy, said, "I've fought a good fight; I've finished my course; I've kept the faith. Henceforth there's laid up for me the crown the righteous Judge will give me at that day, not only to me, but all that love His appearing." Then death said, "I'm coming after you." He said, "Where is your sting?" The grave said, "I'll get you." Said, "Where is your victory?" But he had an example: looked back to Calvary and said, "But thanks be to God Who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." There you are. Oh, it has to stir emotions; it's just got to.  499-136    Life is... The Word is going out. Life, the word life catches Life, and within a human being just something has to scream out.

Then when Jesus walked that Calvary Hill, as the pain seemed to ebb forth from every joint in his aching, whipped and bleeding body, and as He stumbled and fell, within Him something spoke, and said, "get up, get up, your  brother Joe needs you now", get up, get up, brother Peter and Paul need you now more than ever, get up get up, your brother Matthew won't make it without you.  Get up get up, brother Chris needs you help. Get back to your feet and press on ahead, your Brother Don needs you, your brother Ron is depending on you, And as he struggled to his feet, with the weight of that cross across his aching and blood torn back, as he felt the sting of the splinters in His back, his thoughts turned toward His brothers, Dwayne, and Mike, and , and Brian, and Jeremy, and Jared who are all depending on him, And as he began to walk again toward His death at Golgotha, he thought of his brothers Eric and Steve who are going to perish if he  doesn't make it to that hill. And He thinks, Get up, get up, and walk on, get up and walk to your destiny. Walk on, walk on…

And when at last He arrived at His destiny, He laid down His Life for the brethren.  And when that first nail pierced His Hands, I wonder which of you he was thinking of at that moment. Oh, the pain. And then the second nail, as they held it to the other palm of His hand, He could already feel the pain before it was driven through, and I wonder which of us He was thinking of. Then when they pierced His feet together, bye this time He could hardly stand it, as His body ached so bad, in every fiber of His being he hurt with so much pain that His body wanted to twist into a knot, and as He laid there hanging on that Cross, before His mind went blank from the excruciating pain in every limb, in every tissue of his emaciated body, I wonder Who He was thinking of at that moment.

Was it I?  Let's bow our heads in respect for a moment in prayer. Dear Father, As your son lay dying upon that cross, his limbs all twisted with pain, and his flesh torn and hanging from his body, as the blood used out of his open wounds, blinding His vision and causing nausea to grip what senses He had left, as He hung their dying and trying to breath, but couldn't because of the crushing, twisting, convulsions His body was going through, I wonder Lord, Were His last thoughts of Me?  And I realize My Lord and MY God, How much you Loved Your Only begotten and yet how much you must Love us to have allowed all this to happen that I might be found blameless.  As He hung their on that Cross, His Mind only reflected your mind, and all His thoughts were your thoughts.

And you said in Your Word, According as You  had chosen us in Yourself  before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame in Your Presence. Therefore  in love You predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Your Son Jesus Christ to Yourself,  according to the good pleasure of Your will, 6 To the praise of the glory of Your grace, wherein You have made us accepted in the beloved. 7 In whom we have redemption through the blood of Your Son, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of  Your grace; And with this we cry Abba Father.
