Television and the Fourth Dimension

HEBREWS 11:1 ¶ Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good report. 3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

II PETER 3:3 ¶ Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as [they were] from the beginning of the creation. 5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: 6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: 7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. 8 ¶ But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day [is] with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

We have been studying the doctrine of William Branham very intently for sometime now, and therefore we’ll give your minds a little break this morning. Instead of taking the series as we have and been exploring the relationship between the Father and His Son through this teaching on Melchisedec, I will continue to read from brother Branham’s sermon on the subject, but we will explore a few things he says in a manner which will be of interest and yet not as taxing on your mind. To begin, let’s read from …

WHO IS THIS MELCHISEDEC 65-0221E 55 Notice now His attribute. Then the attribute was first God, the thought, the attribute itself all in one, without being expressed. Then when He expressed, secondarily, He became then the Word. And then the Word was made flesh and dwelled among us, St. John the 1st chapter and the 1st verse. Notice, this is in the beginning, but before the eternal. Notice, in the beginning was the Word. When the time begin it was Word, but before it was Word, it was attribute, a thought. Then it was expressed. In the beginning was the expression, the Word. Now, we're getting where Melchisedec is. That's this mysterious Person. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And then the Word became flesh and dwelled among us. Hold that there now. Notice. His first being was Spirit, God, supernatural (All right?), the great Eternal. Second, He begin to form Himself towards flesh in a theophany, it's called, "the word, a body." This then is the state He was in when He met Abraham, was called Melchisedec. He was in the form of theophany. Now, we'll get to that and prove it in a few minutes, the Lord willing.

58 He was the Word. A theophany is something that you could not see. It could be right here now, yet you cannot see it. It's just like, well like television, that's in another dimension. Television... People are moving right through this room now singing; there's colors also, but the eye is only subject to the five senses. Your whole being is only subject to five senses, rather. And you are only subject to what the sight has been limited to see. But there is another dimension that can be seen by a transformation by television. Now, television does not manufacture a picture. A television only channels it into a circuit, and then the television screen picks it up. But the picture's there to begin with. Television was here when Adam was here. Television was here when Elijah set on Mount Carmel. Television was here when Jesus of Nazareth walked the shores of Galilee. But you're just now discovering it. They wouldn't have believed it back there. You'd have been crazy to have said something like it. But now it's become a reality. And so is it that Christ is here. The Angels of God are here. And someday in the great millennium to come it'll be just more real than television or anything else, because they are here. He reveals Himself in His great form of what He claim as He "En morphe's" Himself into His servants and proves Himself. Now, here He is in the form of Spirit. And then He comes in the form of "En morphe." Now, He appeared to Abraham "En morphe." When Abraham was returning from the slaughter of the king, here come Melchisedec, talked to Him.

I would like to address this subject of television that brother Branham is speaking here. Although He is speaking of television from a scientific standpoint and not what is on the television, I would like to address both aspects here this morning.

First of all brother Braham is making a comparison between the Presence of God being here, but in another dimension, and television which is also in another dimension.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS 54-0103M 71-77 Your very life proves what you are. As I said in the beginning, what you are somewhere else is what you reflect here. What you are, what your celestial or terrestrial body is up yonder, what your celestial body is somewhere else is what you're reflecting back here. In the spirit land, what you are, is what you are here. If you're still vulgar minded and so forth in the spirit land, you're vulgar minded here. If you still got malice, envy, and strife, you're in the spirit land with that, it reflects back here. But if your whole innermost being has become cleansed and purged, it shows that you've got a body out yonder waiting, that's been cleansed and purged, and it's reacting back in the flesh. Don't you see? See, there it is. "If this earthly tabernacle be dissolved, we have one already waiting." See?

I CORINTHIANS 15:39 All flesh [is] not the same flesh: but [there is] one [kind of] flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, [and] another of birds. 40 [There are] also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial [is] one, and the [glory] of the terrestrial [is] another. 41 [There is] one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for [one] star differeth from [another] star in glory. 42 So also [is] the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: 43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: 44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. 45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam [was made] a quickening spirit. 46 Howbeit that [was] not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. 47 The first man [is] of the earth, earthy: the second man [is] the Lord from heaven. 48 As [is] the earthy, such [are] they also that are earthy: and as [is] the heavenly, such [are] they also that are heavenly. 49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. 50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. 51 ¶ Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal [must] put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where [is] thy sting? O grave, where [is] thy victory? 56 The sting of death [is] sin; and the strength of sin [is] the law. 57 But thanks [be] to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58 ¶ Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

WHY LITTLE BETHLEHEM 63-1214 29 A few days ago I was at the Morris Auditorium, one of our great New York campaigns, and I was hearing a lecture on Einstein speaking of this galaxy, that said take a hundred and fifty million years of--of light time to go out to it, and a hundred and fifty million years to get back. And then, just think, a hundred and fifty million light years; that'd be three hundred million light years. And then when you got back here, you'd only been gone fifty years. Think, why, how fast light travels, a hundred eighty-six thousand miles per minute, and think of how many billions and trillions of years it would take to go out there and come back, a hundred and twenty--or three hundred million light years. And that's just to a galaxy in the constellation that God just blew from His hands, and He made the aeons of time in light years beyond that, and there looking down upon that.

PARADOX 64-0206B 94 Einstein, the great scientist said, that, "There's only one sensible way to explain the origin of this earth, that was found in Hebrews the 11th chapter and the 3rd verse, 'By faith we understand God framed the world, out of things that...' He spoke it into existence." How does it stand in the sky, never gets out of its orbit? How that everything in heaven, and that constellation, if one of those stars would move... I know you go out at night and say, "I seen a star shoot." No, you seen a weather light. A star don't move. If that star would move, we'd move with it. Everything in heaven is so much in harmony, it holds one another together. What if mankind could be that way, to hold the church together, that we could all be in harmony with the Word. See? Only one way; let God be His Own Interpreter, and we will be. See? God is His Interpreter of That.

Explaining Healing and Jairus Remember when Peter was walking on the water. He was walking all right, till he seen the waves contrary and he got scared. Jesus said, "Why'd you fear?" That's what's the matter with the Holy Ghost people today. They've got a lot they're afraid...The devil's just trying to scare you out of something. He's trying to put something off somewhere else, say, "Some of these days you'll be this." You are now. Now, we're sons of God. Now, we're seated together in heavenly places. Now, we have all powers in heavens and the earth. See? Now, we have it. Not in the millennium, we won't need it then. We got it now. We're... Right now we are the sons of God. "It does not appear what we shall be, but we know we'll be like Him." What you are here is a reflection of what you are somewhere else. "Those who He called, He justifies." Is that right? "Those who He justified, He has glorified." Already in the Presence of the Father, we have a glorified body. Whew! Wasn't that deep? All right. We'll find out whether it's right or not. "If this earthly tabernacle be dissolved, we have one already waiting." Is that right? That's right. So right now, and what we are there, is a reflection. Here, what we are here, is a reflection of what we are somewhere else. So if your deeds are evil, you know where it comes from. You know where your other body's a waiting.

E-33 CURTAIN OF TIME 55-0302 And notice, while they spake about Him, talked about Him, He appeared. That's a good way to get Him around you: talk about Him all the time. Amen. Keep your conversation, not on who's... Or where the next play comes up on the television, or the next movies going to come, or who's going to be elected president: talk about Jesus. Christians talk about everything but Christ in these days. Go out, they always got a bunch of nonsense and everything they want to talk about or something, but never talking about Christ. Talk about Him. Sing about Him. Love Him; keep Him on your heart and mind all the day and night. David said about the, he'd bind the laws upon his fingers and the bedpost, and so He'd be before him all the time. That's the way; keep Him before you in memory, thoughts, praise, speech. All that should do is keep Christ before you. That's the way to keep Him near you.

WHAT SHALL I DO WITH JESUS 63-1124M 68 In New York, last week, I was listening at a message quoted or said by Einstein the great scientist, that--the what is called the brain of the--of the time. And I was heard that. Then I went to hear Norman Vincent Peale on his psychology, about how that people should do or walk, and project themselves into psychology. Then I... On Einstein, he was speaking of a galaxy that was out between the system there, out from stars. And if a person could travel at the speed, I believe he said, of light. Now, I think, what is that? eighty-six thousand... A hundred--hundred and eighty-six thousand miles per second that light travels. And I break that down in five minutes, how many millions and billions of miles you'd be... And a hundred and twenty million years of light-time it would take you to get to that galaxy. And then a hundred and twenty or a hundred and fifty million years--hundred and fifty millions over and a hundred and fifty million back. And they hit something that stumped them. And they... After going out there and coming back... You'd actually, take you three million years to make the trip--three hundred million years: three hundred million years to make the trip. And when you come back to the earth, actually you only been gone fifty years. You break into eternity. There's no end to it.

70 And to think that the God, Who made all of that and set it in order, and spoke of it, come down and was made flesh among us to redeem us. And would so honor us with His august Presence, that He--He would stand here on this sinful earth in the last days and prove His Word to be so, because He's obligated to that Word. Amen. The sovereignty and the justice of that great One, Who holds those things in His hand.

TRUE EASTER SEAL 61-0402 135 Now, we just happen to think, just watch this a minute. Now, Einstein proved by scientific, that if two objects was coming to each other, like two cars coming down across the road, and if were coming fast enough (now they'd really have to be going fast, like a billion miles per second) but they could pass right through one another and never disturb a thing. The speed would do it. Pass them right through one another without disturbing anything.

136 Now, now, if you'll notice... I was standing here not long ago at Mount Palomar, California, and I was noticing there that telescope that can see a hundred and twenty million years of light space. Now think, a hundred and twenty million years of light space, how many miles that would be to be broke down. See? But yet heaven is so many billions and billions and billions of--of light years beyond that, till it's not even thought of. How would we get there? It's the travel; it'll be with like the mind; it's so fast. It'll be faster... If you could think of heaven, that's how quick you'd be there. Jesus, after He was resurrected, came right through the walls, right through the doors, and stood, and eat boiled fish and honeycomb. Hallelujah. Speed. No sooner than life has gone out of this body we're in the Presence of God yonder. We only know as feet and inches, and yards and miles, and so forth; we're in this earthbound system. But when we leave here, brother, oh, my, what a time.

Notice then our travel to the Presence of God is not a matter of feet, and inches and miles, but it is in terms of another dimension.

CHRIST REVEALED IN HIS OWN WORD 65-0822M 67 No, we could've got--get any continuity amongst medics, amongst scientists, different ones. If Einstein had only had the spiritual application, as he had the--the physical application, as he studied the laws of light and so forth, he could've told us something. When I heard his message on that great center somewhere into the skies, that ever contacted with that center, you could create earths, do anything that--the power would be unlimited. See? He had seen that.

68 You see these little pockets going through the air they call "saucers," so forth. People so that... Well, we better leave that alone. "Hear how these people come up missing?" you say. Don't hear from them; they're standing there, and they're not there. That's the way the rapture's going to be. One of them would drop right down, and this terrestrial body will take on a celestial body. And they'll be hide, hair, or bones left. It'll be transformed in a moment of time, dropping right out of space and taking home that... We see all this going on now, and the--and the Pentagon wondering about these lights, and mystic lights, and everything they're seeing in the--in the sky. You seen they had one here in the paper at Jeffersonville this week and so forth, a mystic light saw. Oh, they don't know what that is. But listen, little children, it's going to pick you up one of these days (See, see?); don't worry.

FELLOWSHIP BY REDEMPTION 55-0403 120 In the fourth dimension, people can prove that right through this room now is coming radio activity, radio messages. Coming right through this building now is coming television pictures, but it's too fast for our eyes. Now, you go millions of miles beyond that dimension, and you'll get into a place that's just as real as television pictures is in this room this morning. There's the Lord Jesus Christ, the resurrected Son of God standing here, and the reason that you can't see Him is because our heart hasn't become tuned down to it. And the reason we can't see the--the television pictures, we're, our bodies are not set as instruments to pick up mechanical sent things. But when our body becomes in tune with God, becoming a part of Him, then our soul can pick up the power of the Holy Spirit to vindicate the Presence of the Lord Jesus Christ in all of His power and omnipotence. He has risen from the dead. He lives among us today. And He wants fellowship back with His people again. His great majesty, His glory is now spreading forth. And He's desiring to fellowship again with His people like He did in the garden of Eden.

We can see by what Brother Branham says here, the fourth dimension is a faster dimension than the three dimensions in which we live.

PARADOX A 65-0117 142 As I said in my last message, standing over there against that wall, when I was here a few weeks ago, every time you move your finger, that goes around and around the world, never will stop. Every move you make, you'll see it at the judgment. Television proves that it's here, the fourth dimension. 'Cause the television doesn't manufacture that picture; it only channels that wave into a tube, and you see a picture. Color, everything, every moving object that's happening in the world is going right around through here now, making a record. Someday your record's going to be closed, and you're going to answer to that record. That's right. God, let me so be planted, let me be so dead to myself and anything around me, and be conscious of the Word of God living among us today. Let's pray.

GOD'S POWER TO TRANSFORM 65-0911 135 I know you think I'm getting you on a limb, but I'm on the limb with you. And we're all here to try to find what we can do. We don't say those things to be different. We must be honest. We, each one, come down to the end of the road, where we're going to give account for every word. Right now we know that our voices... When we're born, our first little cry goes on--on a tape. It's going to be played back again at the day of judgment. Even the clothes you wear will be showed in your face at the day of judgment. Even science has found that by television. See, television doesn't manufacture a picture; it only channels it. The color of clothes, every time you move, every thought's in your mind, is absolutely kept on God's record. And that big thing will be laid right before you, every one of them filthy dresses you wore, every time you went to the barber shop, cut that hair that God give you. It's going to be. You'll answer for it. You can't make a move right there, just even the thoughts of your heart while you're doing it, will be played right before you. How you going to escape? "How shall we escape if we neglect such a great salvation?" See? We're not going to escape. Every move, and the thoughts of the heart is recorded right in another dimension, even the color of clothes you wear. Television, colored television proves it right out, pulls it out and shows it (See?), and that's just in one dimension from the three that we live in. See?

137 Now, how the poison has struck the church, struck the earth. Satan's poison upon the seeds, has put cavities in it and caused it to be deformed. More and more he sinks deeper into the hearts of the churches, in the hearts of the people and everything, science, science. Until it's become a place where the human race, by being interbred... I believe every seed should bring forth of its kind. And the human race, and the plant, and all being interbred, has brought us to a place; in eating our food from the earth, which our bodies is made hybrid; it's put our whole minds... Now, if our bodies are falling at--from twenty to twenty-five years old, because of degenerated cells by hybrid foods, don't our brain cells degenerate? Isn't that cells also? That's why Ricky runs through the street here with this hot rod; why Ricketta, Elvita's, and many of them, as we'd call name, out here half naked before the people, mentally gone, no more conceptions of decency or morals

Notice, he tells us TV is just a channel. Keep this in mind.

FELLOWSHIP BY REDEMPTION 55-0403 266 Now, if I have quoted to you the Scripture right, listen to what God said here in His Word. Listen what Jesus said here. "He that heareth My words," that's the Gospel being preached "and believeth," in his heart, "on Him that sent Me, hath," that's present tense, right now, "Everlasting Life," that can't die. And the right... Now, you might not know Greek. But the right Greek translation is has "Zoe," which means, "God's own life." Has Zoe, "and shall never come into condemnation; but passed from death unto Life." Here's what happens then if you die now, according to the Word of God, you go out of the existence of people who can see you into His Presence. And there you live. You can look back. You're in... You're not in the world no more. You're in another world. And then what do you do? You're like those souls under the altar, saying, "Lord, how long will it be?" See? You'll never be an Angel. You wasn't made an Angel. You were made men and women, so you're longing to come back. 'Cause you can see then when you get up here, and say, "Well, I see what it's all about. I know why I had to die there. I know why that taken place. I'm not..." You never die. Jesus said, "He that heareth My words, and believeth on Him that sent Me, has Everlasting Life." You can't die. You can't die. You just... You die to the mortal part. But you're alive here. Your spirit's right here with Christ. Then you say, "Lord, how long is it?" 'Cause you wasn't made to be there. You wasn't made that, because you're a human being. And you're longing to come back into this body, perfect again. And He said, "Just a little while longer, until your fellow servants, there, has suffered like the martyrs did back there." Then you will return, coming down... After you go out of this body, out of cosmic light and petroleums, and what you're made up of, you go into the fourth dimension, out of that, into the fifth dimension, then the sixth dimension. Then God's in the seventh. You're right under His altar. Then when God let's your spirit loose, it picks up what? Comes out of the sixth dimension, into the fifth, cosmic light; come out of the light, into petroleums; out of petroleum, into the senses. And here you are back on earth again, a brand new person, not old and broke down, never to be sick. Your hair will never turn gray. You'll never be wrinkled. You'll never separate no more. You'll never die. You'll never be hungry. You'll never have a worry. You'll walk with your loved ones, and shake their hands, and eat, drink, build houses and inhabit them, and live forever and forever in the Presence of the Lord Jesus. That's what you've got this morning because you heard the Word of God.

He says we pass through that fourth dimension, then on past the 5^th into the sixth if we are Believers. If not, you are stuck in that fifth dimension. Therefore again we see that the fourth dimension is a channel.

ENTICING SPIRITS 55-0724 38 Now, we've applied it in a healing service, always to the healing side: cancer, tumor, cataract, tuberculosis. All those things are not natural things; they are supernatural and are demons; the Scripture plainly veri--vindicates that. But that is demons in the body with growths like cancer, got life in it, and the life of that is a demon. Growth of a cataract, the spread of tuberculosis, and, other diseases; it's demons. That's in physical form. Now, this morning we're going to talk--talk about demons in spiritual form in the soul. They're in the soul as same as they are in the body. And we're bound to admit that we see them in people's body, such cancers and--and different diseases that's in the human body. Just recently, even cancer has been declared to be a fourth dimension disease, that it's in another dimension, sure, it's demonology. Every disease is a fourth dimension disease, the beginning of it.

Here we see that the fourth dimension is not only a channel for the tv and radio waves, but also for every disease.

41 Now, but now cancer in the body or cancer in the soul, the demon can come in either place. Now, there's many times and many peoples with good thoughts that--and good people who try many times to--to rest upon some little theology they have or something that they have been taught since a child, and still find that down in their being, down in their soul, that they still have something that's not right. You... Many are here this morning, no doubt, wherever you find Christians gathered together you find people who have those spirits in them that they... It's undesirable. They don't want them. They say, "Oh, if I could only quit lying. If I could only quit lusting. If I could only quit this or that." Now, that is devils. And now they come in the form of religion, many times. Being it's Sunday School, it's a time of teaching, so let's look into this. Now, they come in the form of religion many times.

Again he speaks of the demon coming from somewhere. It can enter into the body or into the soul. But it is not there to begin with. It comes from some place. Since he said all diseases come from the fourth dimension, is this the dimension that demons live in?

42 Now, in the Scripture once there was a man by the name of Jehoshaphat, a great man, a religious man. And he went over to another king, which was the King of--of Israel. And he, Jehoshaphat being the King of Judah, and he went down to Ahab, the King of Israel, and they got all buckled up together and made an alliance with one another to go fight up at Ramoth-gilead. And they did it without first praying. Oh, if people could only realize. That's why I come this morning and ask you to remember me as I go overseas. In all things, pray. Someone come the other day and said, "Brother Branham, do you think it's wrong to do a certain thing?" I said, "What are you questioning about?" See? If there's a question in your mind, leave it alone. Don't do it at all. Just stay with that. When you start to do anything, and if it's a question whether it's right or wrong, stay away from it. Don't go into it at all. Then you know you're right. Now, all things ought to be considered prayerfully first. "Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these other things will be added." I am positive sure this morning if men and women could only get into the position of where their soul, their thinking, their attitudes would be perfect in the sight of God, that would be one of the most powerful churches that ever existed.

46 Watch just a few moments on the physical. Now, we are--have many times, have for years; we got what we call a lie detector. You can put it on your wrist, set it across your--your head, and you can get in there and try your best to make a lie sound like the truth, and it'll register negative every time. Because a human was not made to lie. Lying is a deceitful, hard thing, evil thing. I'd rather have a drunkard with me any day than a liar (See?), a liar. And your body wasn't made to lie. No matter how sinful you are, you're still a fallen son of God. The most sinful person in this city today, God didn't intend you to be sinful. He wanted you to be a son or a daughter of His. You're made up in His own makeup, but sin has caused you to do that. And no matter how much you try to impersonate and try to make a lie seem right, they got a scientific instrument that proves that it's wrong. You can tell it with all the innocence you want to, but it'll still register negative. Because there's a subconscious down in a human being, and that subconscious knows what's truth. And no matter what you're saying out here, that subconscious knows that it's a lie, and it'll register off the subconscious.

47 Therefore, if a man or a woman could ever get their thoughts and their testimony and their lives so lined up with God (Amen.) until the channel of the Holy Spirit would be perfectly one with God, what would take place? If the man and the woman could ever get lined up, where with freedom from their hearts, with faith from their innermost... Many people come to the altar to be prayed for. They have intellectual faith. They confess their sins and join a church by intellectual faith. They believe it in their heart--their mind. They believe it because they've heard it. They believe it because they know it's the best policy. But that's not what God looks at. He don't look at your intellectual faith. He looks on the heart, where on the inside, God... And when it comes from the heart all things are possible then; your confession meets up with your life; your life speaks as loud as your confession does. But when your confession says one thing and your life lives another, there's something wrong somewhere. That's because you got an intellectual faith and not a faith from your heart. And that shows that outside here is a knowledge of God, but inside here is a demon of doubting. "I believe in Divine healing, but it's not for me. (You see?) I--it could be so, but I don't believe it." Get it? Outside you say, "Yes." Inside your conscience says "No." That same scientific thing would prove that that wasn't right, prove it.

BLIND BARTIMAEUS 56-0407 E-20 But God was perfect to begin with. And He's been perfect all along. And He will be, always be perfect. He can't be no more. And then, when a crisis arose back there, and people needed healing in their journey from Egypt to the promised land, and God made a way of healing for them then, because they had need of it... Their doctors couldn't do no good. And the snakes was biting them, and they were dying. And all their remedies that they put on, wouldn't heal them. And if God provided a healing for them then, and today of cancer, and heart trouble, and diseases that our beloved doctors don't know of how to doctor it hardly... And I heard a statement, the other night on the radio of some said that they had never proved that an operation for cancer had ever been successful. That's right. Not one. So they have nothing to doctor with. Some of them say, "It's a fourth dimension disease," they call it. But it's a devil. That's exactly. God's still God.

It’s a fourth dimension disease and it is a devil. Then is our televisions a channel for disease to enter our dimension? Can it be? Brother Branham said the demon can come and enter into the soul or into the body. He has a choice. We know he warned us to kick the tv out of the house. Why was he so strong about this? Could those tv sets be an opening or channel from that other dimension to allow demons into your home?

PRESENT STAGE OF MY MINISTRY 62-0908 21 Now, when we come along, we remember that we live here in three dimensions. And I don't know whether I can name them or not. One of them is light, and the other is matter. Tommy, you remember what the third is? Huh? Atom--time. Right. Now, light, matter, and time. And our five senses contact them dimensions. Our sight contacts light, our feeling contacts matters, and so forth.22 Now, but we have contact through science, the fourth dimension, as it was. Because coming right through this building now comes pictures, voices of radio, pictures on television, that our senses does not contact that, but yet they have a--a tube or crystal that picks up those ether waves and manifests them. So, you see, right in this building now is live actions of people in the air, live voices. They're here. We know it. They're absolutely the truth. And the only thing you do, they--they catch it on... I don't understand the mechanics of--of those things that science has invented, but we know that it proves to us there is a fourth dimension. Now, the fifth dimension is where the sinner, the unbeliever dies and goes to. The fifth dimension is the--kind of the--well, the horrible dimension. Now, this man... And when a Christian dies, he goes into the sixth dimension. And God is in the seventh dimension. Now then, you see, the Christian when he dies, he goes under the altar of God, right into the Presence of God, under the altar. And he's at rest.

From the Message Countdown brother Branham said the natural always types the spiritual, and what we see happening in the natural shows there is something taking place in the spiritual. He then typed the horse and buddy power of transportation with the Church going through justification, then the automobile with sanctification, then the airplane with the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.

COUNTDOWN THE 62-1125E E-19 And now, we live here, that what we believe is in... There is six senses: five senses, really, but faith makes the sixth sense. Now. And we live now in here what we think we call three dimensions. I might not call these right. I think the three dimensions is called (Some of you kids out of high school might be able to correct me on this.) light, air, and thought: three dimensions. Now... Or is that right? Light, air, and thought. That's the three dimensions, isn't it? I think that's right. All right. Now, we know there is another dimension, which is the fourth dimension, because science has probed into it and found it, and it is radio. There's no senses of our body can detect radio or television over that ether wave. Yet right through us now is coming people's voices. Right through here is coming television pictures. But we have nothing in us, no way at all to contact that in ourselves. It takes a crystal on some sort, a magnet, to contact that. But it speaks that there is another dimension. Now, that's four dimensions. Then, I think the fifth dimension is where the sinner dies, where he goes. Now, I think that when the sinner dies he goes to this fourth dimension. Notice. The first thing, he cannot go in the Presence of God because he is a sinner, and his time is up on earth.

If electricity and radio waves and television waves and all diseases are found in the fourth dimension, the there should be means of healing through electricity as well of these fourth dimension diseases. E-20 If I would type it for you, it's like trying to go to sleep and you're in a--can't be asleep, and you're in a nightmare. You... Hideous things, you're screaming. You--you're just all... That's the state of the wicked dead. He cannot go in the Presence of God because he is a sinner. He cannot return back to the earth because his time's up. And he's caught between the two things in the fifth dimension. He's got a soul, and he cannot go in the Presence of God, because it's not covered by the Blood. He's a sinner. He cannot wake himself up, because his time's up on earth. So there he is in a tormented nightmare. Think of that now before you enter it. A nightmare, scream... Many of us has had nightmares. It's just because... We're told because the two conscious are passing, sub and first conscious, and it catches between. And that's the nightmare. And when a sinner dies, he's caught with his soul between earth and hell in a nightmare. There he stands.

E-21 Now, the sixth dimension is in Christ, the saint, dead saints, or resting saints, who is completely, work finished on earth, and have entered into rest with Christ under the altar, beautifully. You could parallel it like a wonderful dream that you didn't want to wake up. It ain't a dream, it's natural. It's real. But I'm just making a parable to you. And 'course, the seventh dimension is God alone.

E-22 Now, notice modern happenings that we have. We look at this scientific age that we live in--the push-button age. And yet, people have less time to pray than they ever did have, in all these modern times. They used to set all night and listen to a sermon. And now we just can't do it. We haven't got time to do it. You see, it's just in our head. We think we haven't got time to do it, but we have. But modern happenings is a forerunner of spiritual happenings. Now, remember, modern happenings are forerunners of spiritual happenings, the natural as spiritual, exactly. Each happenings accompany the other, only improved over the other. Each thing that happens in the natural... And the next thing that happens is an improvement.

E-23 For instance... Let's take for instance now of transportation. One day there was horse and buggy, and then we got the automobile. That's still horsepower, but more of it in the automobile. It was an improvement of horsepower. Certainly. When we got the automobile, it was an advantage over the horse and buggy. And then we rode the horse and buggy. Then we took the automobile. And after the automobile, the Wright brothers come along and made an airplane: still horsepower (See?), but it's an improvement. One accompanies the other. One happening accompanies the other happening all the time. Now, as things... Now, don't fail to get this. Open up ears, heart, and everything now, and listen close. When anything happens on earth, it is a warning to us that something is fixing to be--happen from heaven. What man does on earth by His achievement, is something that God's fixing to do by His achievement to His church. Now, we look: that when we come from horse and buggy, automobile, airplane. The church... God has been able in the spiritual line to achieve from justification through Luther, sanctification through Wesley, to the baptism of the Holy Ghost now. See? It's a type, shadow, achievement, what God has been able to do.

E-24 Now. Now, remember, God by Luther with the Holy Spirit power, He was able to achieve by Luther to the church, justification. And when the church got justification--out of the Roman creeds--it begin to get life and begin to move, through justification. God was able to do it through His achievement to get one man to stand still long enough that He could project Himself to it, and get His message out to the people. All right. The next achievement God was able to do, He got a man by John Wesley, to stand still enough to get away from the Lutheran creeds, where it had got to, to preach sanctification. Then the church come from the horse and buggy to the automobile. It got more life and started running. It got to going a little faster then. And then there come an Azusa Street, where they left the ground and hit the air through the baptism of the Holy Ghost. God took the church from a earthbound creed into a solo flight in the air. Just as the airplane come in, the Holy Ghost come in behind it. See? That's right. Justification, the horse and buggy; sanctification (what was it?), automobile begin to move along. Then baptism of the Holy Ghost, you took off the ground, got out feet off, got up in the air, flying around in the heavenlies with heavenly gifts speaking in tongues, Divine healing.

E-25 Them that was still in the automobile, and still riding the horse and buggy, thought that was the strangest thing they ever seen, them people was having a fit. But they got their feet off the ground. God was able to bring to the church His achievement, when He got a bunch of people standing still long enough that He could pour His Spirit into them. The same horsepower that can pulse the horse did the same thing to the automobile, and did the same thing to the airplane. And the same Holy Ghost that brought justification to the church, It brought more of it when It brought sanctification, and poured It in with the Holy Ghost: till the same power. Right. Brought the same thing in took the church off of its feet into the heavenlies. All right.

E-26 Now, things has changed altogether (See?), because science is moving on. And we're always talking about science, but let's look back and see what our great scientific teachers are doing. Look what God's doing with His church. Now, we've entered the age, not no more of horse and buggy, not no more of automobile, we--not no more of airplane, now, there's astronauts. Oh, my. This is astronaut age. Oh, what a great thing. The horse and buggy was earthbound but now we are in astronaut age. And so has the church. That's the big swing over that I can't get before the people. They've settled down for an airplane. Some of them settle for a horse and buggy. But God's got an astronaut age. Oh, what an age to live in. No wonder they can't understand it. But, you see, where God lets man do something, it's to show the church that He's doing something.

E-27 See, they're always trying to bring the old thing back. And now, keep the horse and buggy, it's just a... It's a relic. It's history. It was all right in its day, but it's past that day. Glory. Shake hands with the preacher was all right a long time ago, but that's past how. Denomination lived its day out. We're past that now. We're in the astronaut age. Amen. Now, I begin to feel religious. Astronaut age, that's what's got the people all turned around. They don't know what to think about these things. See? They don't know how to get it. Notice. Yet, this astronaut age is the same Spirit, same power, just like the horsepower was.

E-28 Now, in this astronaut age in the natural, there's also the astronaut age in the spiritual. What is it? Then the church from an airplane, like the natural, has took a higher flight. Why, that astronaut, there's no airplane going to catch him. He's done gone to where he can't even see an airplane no more. See? And that's the way God is doing now. Instead of being some little school guy come out, and talk about certain things that Dr. So-and-so said years ago, we got eagles, prophets, rising up into the heavenlies, far above the earthbound chicken thought. Astronaut age: God's proven it. Watch it.

E-29 If it happened in the horse and buggy days, and the automobile days, in the Luther, Wesley, what about now. What's the matter? People talking about being modern, they called that modern. This is the modern. This is the modern, according to the Kingdom of God: astronauts. Glory. Astronaut age, sure, eagles, God's prophets rising on the scene. How thankful we are for that. What is it? Spiritual manifestations of spiritual Word becoming literally fulfilled before us. Amen. The Word of God manifested, once was hard to--to understand, now, is made plain through the astronaut. The position of the church that should be plumb in the heavenlies, not down here...?... around through the clouds, and buzzing around like an airplane, but something that's propelled by something that sends it beyond anything that a airplane could think of. It's a astronaut. That's the age that we're living in now: spiritual astronauts.

E-30 Now, the astronaut can see things that the horse, buggy, automobile, or airplane couldn't even see, because he's thousands of miles ahead of them. He's so far ahead till their--and fifty times the speed. Amen. Now, do you see why people think you get crazy? They can't understand it. Why, he's still riding old dobbin. What speed has dobbin got? It's all right, but what speed's Dobbin got to an astronaut? The same thing as what speed has justification got to the revelation and the Presence of Jesus Christ to pack you so far beyond that of joining a church or shaking hands with somebody. It's a astronaut age, where the church should be lifted up, way above everything. That's right.

E-31 The spiritual astronaut is eagles. He goes beyond all denominational creeds, all denominational barriers, all denominational thinkings, all their cloudy thoughts. He's above every cloud, everything there is to look at. He's up in the... around the stars, the astronaut. And the astronaut believer is also up in the heavenlies. He's far beyond these earthbound things. He's up high. He's in the outer space. See, the earthly man doesn't know very much about the outer space. But if the astronaut's in the outer space, he's there with it. And that's the reason the church today don't understand. "Why you say about denomination? Why you kicking about this? What about this here, this here? I don't understand this discernment. I don't see how... What would that--could that be?" Sure. You're earthbound. That's right. See, the astronaut age has been lifted above that, way in above it, way above Azusa Street, way above all the rest of them. It's the latest thing we got, is a astronaut. Amen. God ain't looking for horse and buggy drivers. He's looking for astronauts, somebody that can take off and go beyond reasonings.

E-32 Now, somebody say, "Now, just a minute, brother. Isn't it reasonable that we..." This is beyond reasoning. It's in outer space, out of space of reasoning. We're supposed to cast them down. So when you go above them they are cast down, 'cause they're under you. Outer space, astronaut, raised up above all human imaginations. You're in the glorious Presence of Christ, and Christ is in you.

E-33 The natural astronaut is controlled by a unit of radar on the ground. This radar controls it. You've watched this perhaps on television. When they go up, how miles and miles and miles away you couldn't see nothing or anything, and yet this radar's pointing right to it. It's controlled by radar, the natural astronaut. And the spiritual astronaut is controlled by a unit also, a unit of prayer. That controls the spiritual astronaut, keeps him lined up, is prayer. Oh, it's good, I tell you. God had a little unit setting on earth one time when His first Astronaut was here. And you know, one little touch of faith stopped Him, and that answered him back. Prayer changes things. It changes positions by prayer that can control. See, we see what can be done in the natural, and it's a type of the spiritual, the spiritual happenings. It can be controlled that way.

E-34 Now, being that science has advanced to the space that they have to get an astronaut... And then, the church has advanced. And you notice, each time it gets smaller, takes less to operate it. Now, we find out that the spiritual and the natural type... So we see that the natural has went so far until in the clock of the natural says that it's three minutes before midnight. Think of it. Science claims it's three minutes till midnight. Something's fixing to happen. They can feel it. And if they could feel it, how much more ought the church be able to feel it? If they can see something's going to happen, how much more ought we to be able to see something's going to happen? Now.

E-35 But they say on their clock it's three minutes until zero hour for something to happen. So you know what they done? They got scared, and they got into their astronaut tube, and are taking a countdown. And they're going to leave this earth. They're headed for the moon. Everybody's trying to get to the moon, want to get off of earth to the moon. Don't you see the spiritual application? The spiritual astronaut got into Jesus listening to the countdown of the Word of God, and is fixing to take off to heaven. That's the difference. Oh, my. That sounds crude, but it's the truth. You just look back through history. Look back through time and see that everything... Anything natural happened on earth, God made it happen spiritually, bringing His church up. Here it is, right before us, and that is right. We know it, understand it.

E-36 God has got a new system. It's not the old system; it's a new system. He's bringing His church up. They're getting smaller in minority all the time. They did in the days of Noah, they did in the days of Lot. They always do, till they get very, very, small. But still that little grain of God is still moving on, getting more powerful, and powerful, all the time. The true church of the living God is miles up the road today than what it was. We see it. We know it. It's the truth. I don't mean organization. Now, you're back down to the horse and buggy again. You see? We're climbing above that thing. Don't want to go back to that again. No, I should say not. All right. The spiritual astronaut is in Christ, and he's listening to the Word of God, the countdown, to see where It's going. And he's fixing to leave now, not for the moon, he will pass the moon so fast. He's on His road to heaven, and he's listening to the countdown. Yes, he's headed for heaven in a rapture of the glory of God. He's in Christ, wrapped in His glory, headed for heaven with Him, leave the earth.

E-37 People in the natural stood speechless, you remember, a few months ago when John Glenn got in that tube to be the astronaut. And they stood speechless, the nation did, when they begin to give the countdown. They started, "Ten, nine, eight, seven, five, six, four, three, two, one, zero." And when the big astronaut begin to turn loose the atomic energy in her, the fire begin to fly and they took off, the whole world stood in a shock. Certainly. Notice. But did you notice? Always their countdown was backwards: "Ten, nine, eight, seven, five, six, four, three, two, one, zero." That's the way the world always does anyhow. It was backwards. That's the way the world does anything. That's the way man does. It's backwards from God. See?

E-38 And anyhow, ten is not a spiritual number in the Bible. Anyone knows that. God's number is seven. That's His perfect number. And God... His--His perfect number is seven. And God, His countdown starts at one. Right. Man starts at ten, goes backwards. God starts at one, and goes forward. Man started his count, his countdown, and God started His first count. Would you like to know when He started it? He started it in A.D. 33, when He started counting His seven churches ages. When He got them finished, it was all right. Right. Here's the way God counted from one to seven: "Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamos, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, Laodicea, zero." Amen. Right. See, zero comes after Laodicea. We done passed that age now. She's got lukewarm and spurted away, her all falls. But we're in Christ, and Christ has counted His church ages. There's only seven of them. It's the Bible. We just come through them at the--at the Tabernacle, showing each one: their stars, their ministers, and the Light of the day, and down to Lutheran for, and the Philadelphian, John Wesley, and on down to the Laodicea, each age, how the fall away would come, and what this would be, and what the Scripture said they would do, and there it was. We found it in history, just exactly.

E-39 And now we are passing over the Laodicea age. We all know that. Every one of us that knows the Bible knows that's right. Well, where's the count at then? It's seven. And the next is zero. See? What? Ephesus was the first church age, Smyrna second, Pergamos third, Thyatira fourth, Sardis fifth, Philadelphia sixth, and Laodicea seventh. Now, we've passed through that Pentecostal age. We've passed through the Lutheran age; we've passed through the Wesley age. And look. As soon as the church started, God begin to show signs in the earth, showing that He was advancing His church from justification, to sanctification, to the baptism of the Holy Ghost, now to the astronaut. Amen. That's what we're looking for, is astronauts, somebody who can get away from this earth-bound thing here: have to belong to some organization or something like that.

E-40 God's looking for a men who can climb up into the highs like a eagle, take his flight, and go plumb on into the heavenlies up yonder, where all things are possible up above this earthbound clucking down here, hitting on four cylinders, and the water jacket busted on the inside: don't even know how to be baptized yet. Oh, my. And all that fussing going on, we fly away from it. Amen. Why, yes. I think this, friends: If the whole nation stood in awe, and watching through television when the countdown come for that astronaut, John Lynn--Glenn, to leave up in towards his first flight towards the moon, to get up above that--and the whole earth stood amazed as they seen that astronaut take off; what will the whole universe stand still when the great eagle of the Church of God, when she spreads Her great wings one of these mornings, propelled by the Holy Ghost and fire, when She takes Her shiver off the earth and goes into the heavenlies? The whole universe will know it. Angels will welcome Him in with a triumph. Amen. We are living in the astronaut age, going into the heavenlies. People can't understand it. When you talk about a shock coming, just wait till that church starts moving up, when that great eagle called the Church of God, redeemed by the Blood of Jesus Christ, spreads forth Her wings, and the power of the Holy Ghost begins to lift Her up off the earth. It's going to be a wonderful time. Remember, an automobile can't follow it; neither can an airplane. It's astronaut. Let's be an astronaut. Let's believe God. Now, you see what it is.

E-41 We're--we love to talk about Azusa Street. We love to talk about fifty years ago. And I've fussed at you all week, telling you about where we--how far we've lost off from there. But we're so advanced in the Spirit of God into other things that we got now that they never even had back there. They'd just left the automobile, got their feet off the air, so they could have a few spiritual gifts, speaking in tongues, and shouting and singing spiritual songs. Why, they was floating around up there like butterflies. See? Certainly. That was a great age.

E-42 But, oh, brother. We are lifted far beyond that now. The church is away beyond that, the spiritual church. It's in the eagle age now, the astronaut, flying on above, and looking down at the fellow-citizen chicken. See? We're far above that, way up yonder in the--in the heavenlies, where Christ becomes the full thing that takes completely over, and lives His life, and acts through you, exactly like He did here on earth. Astronaut age, the countdown is on, brethren. I believe the church is, the last member will be borned into her, maybe tonight. The last one will come in. Now, look, I know this is broke up, and my time's getting away, but look. I won't go any further, but look at this.

E-43 You see that the progress of the church has followed the progress of time. You know that. And we've changed now from airplane to astronaut. And there's got to be a change. And we've seen the three changes come in the progress of transportation, of power. It always takes a added power, a added power, an added power, keep more, and more, and more. Why don't the airplane get up there? It hasn't got the power to do it. It isn't built for it. It couldn't do it. The astronaut has the power. The tube that he's in, it has the power. He's up there. He goes up. He sends up like by electronic, of by--by atoms, which is a far greater power than gasoline or anything that we ever had before. See? We're in another age. And the trouble of it is, that science keeps moving on in their achievement, but the church wants to settle down and remain riding old Dobbin down the street. Yes, sir. That's right. Go down... "My mother joined years ago, you ought to join too." See? Don't think about a thing like that. Let's rise. All things are possible.

E-44 Science has a tree they can climb. But they can only climb so far, and then they--that's as far as they can go. That's the end of scientific research. They kill themselves.

But you see, on the tree of faith there's no end to it. You just keep on going. That's the tree that we should be on tonight, the Tree of Life, the tree of faith; not headed towards the moon, headed towards heaven, headed towards God, for the glorious rapture of the Lord Jesus in His Presence, and His power, and His very Life out of heaven: not come down and make us join church, not come down even to make us shout, but come down to let His whole Life live through us. Live in the heavenlies, carry yourself away, till you see things that is to come, was, which is, and shall come; lifting up above anything that the church has had since the day that Christ was on earth. And we're enjoying it today. Sure. We're in a great age, friend, a great time, an astronaut age. God, give us astronauts, give us men and women, daring men, daring women. What did John Glenn and them have to do when they stepped into that tube? They were pioneers. God wants pioneers to this Word, astronauts who'll take the things that we have got, and be--not be satisfied with it, but we're going on. God is making achievements.

SHOW US THE FATHER 63-0606 E-57 And then, in that, we know that... The other night, my children was telling me that on the television they was going to have a play called "The river of No Return." There's where I caught the world record rainbow, down there one time with the Christian Business Men. And they wanted me to see if that was the river--go to a place with television and see if--if that was the river, if Don Smith, the guide, taking this girl down. There she was on television, the same girl that I seen, and been dead a year. But there, every move she made was right there, acting out, her voice alive. Now, that's in a--like a fourth dimension. And that same thing will be to every one of us at the day of judgment.

E-58 And then, when Jesus Christ spoke these words, they never die. Science claims in twenty years from now they can pick up the literal voice. They'll be able to pick up the literal voice of Jesus. It's still in the earth. 'Cause, see, it's a sending post, you are. Then there has to be a receiving post. And if you can be the receptacle, see--receiving post to receive the Word of God, then It's real to you, and It'll live just like it was then. Amen.

GOD'S PROVIDED WAY 59-0415A E-43 Now, you take, many times, people who climb some other way will have that disgraceful name. Say, "That's a bunch of holy-rollers." Did you know that's what the apostles was called? Do you know, John the Baptist was declared a wild man? Did you know Jesus Christ was declared by the Sanhedrin Council an insane Man? "Now we know you're mad." "Mad" means "insanity." You know all the apostles was declared insane? But I like what Paul said, "In the way that's called heresy, so worship I the God of our fathers." Oh, because he'd been robed in that same righteousness of the Lord Jesus Christ. That's what it is today, friend. So many people are trying to get in, but they're not taking God's provided entrance. And if you go any other way besides Jesus Christ... And when the apostles come into Jesus Christ, when the early Church came into Jesus Christ, they received the baptism of the Holy Ghost. It made them a different people. It made them act different, live different. Their whole--their whole life was motivated different. They had different motives. They had different objectives. Everything was different when they come into Christ.

E-44 Everything's different when you come into Christ. It makes you forsake the world. It makes you forsake the things of the world. You'll turn off your TV anytime to go to church on Wednesday night, if you've ever come in on Christ. When there's a prayer meeting, why, there's nothing can keep you away from that prayer meeting. When the love of God that's in your heart that was in Christ Jesus, will pull you to the church, and when you get there, and you get that overflowing joy, there's something will make you sing out with all that's in you the praises of God. See, we're coming some other way besides the Door. People are coming in, say, "Well, I come in a Baptist." It's all right be Baptist, if you come by the Door and picked up the robe. Say, "Well, I'm Catholic." That's still all right, if you come by the Door and got the robe. But unless you come through the Door, you'll be rejected, because He said it would be. And there's going to be many of them there without the robe on.
