WHO IS THIS MELCHISEDEC #77

The Life Cycle of The Elect

WHO IS THIS MELCHISEDEC  65-0221E   78    Then when a man is borned again from heaven, he becomes a spirit babe in Christ. And then when this robe of flesh is dropped, there is a natural body, theophany, a body not made with hands, neither born of a woman, that we go to. Then that body returns back and picks up the glorified body. That's the reason Jesus went to hell when he died and preached to the souls that were in prison. Turned back into that theophany... Oh, marvelous. Thank God.

II Corinthians 5:1 "If this earthly body be dissolved (this earthly tabernacle), we have another one." See, we have bypassed that to come straight from God, the attribute, to be flesh to be tempted and tested by sin like Adam did. But when testing of His Word is over, then we are taken up to this body that was prepared for us before the foundation of the world. It is the Word there that we skipped to come right around down here to be tempted and tested. If we'd have come through that, there'd have been no temptation; we'd knowed all things. That's the reason Jesus knowed all things, 'cause He was Word before He was flesh.

Then we become the Word. Here we are formed to the Word image to be a partaker of the Word, feed on the Word, by being predestinated since the beginning. You see, that little spark of life that you had in you from the beginning when you started your journey... Many of you can remember it. You joined this church and joined that church, and try this and that; nothing satisfied. That's right. But one day you just recognized it. Right.

There are three things that Brother Branham states in this paragraph that I would like to examine by the Word of God. In these three statements we have the entire life cycle of the Elect Son or Daughter of God played out. In fact his fist statement before he lays out the process of the life cycle, defines what that life cycle is all about. He says, Then when a man is born again from heaven, he becomes a spirit babe in Christ. So then we see that he will be speaking of that spiritual babe and the life cycle that it must go through in order for it to enter into that eternal kingdom, just as he already spoke of the physical life cycle of the natural baby in order for it to come forth into the kingdom of this world.

Now Brother Branham uses the word the word a spirit babe which suggests to us that what we have gone through in the natural cycle of life, we must also go through in the spiritual cycle of life. Now, just before he said these words he said the same thing. He said, "Think of a little baby". (So he is asking us to picture in our minds a little baby. Then he begins to explain about the process or life cycle that this little baby must go through in the natural.) He says,  You can take a woman, no matter how evil she is, when she is pregnant and fixing to be mother, watch before that baby's born; I don't care how cruel the woman is, she gets real kind. There's something about her seems godly, to see a little mother fixing to become mother by the baby. Why is it? That little body... Now, it's not alive yet. See the only thing it is, is just flesh and muscles. That little jumping, that's just muscles jerking. But when it comes forth from the womb, God breathes the breath of life into it, and then he screams out. See, just as sure as there is a natural body being formed, there is a spiritual body to receive it as soon as it gets here.

So we see that brother Branham is painting a picture by words of the life cycle that we must go through in order to be born again. He says it is like a physical birth in the sense that without the Spirit entering the child it would be born stillbirth, and dead.

And the same is true of this body without a new birth. You can be an elect Seed child of God but until you receive that Spirit from above, you might just as well be a pile of jumping nerves and muscles. He tells us, at the point of birth the spirit of the child is waiting to enter the child, and thus it's presence there, waiting to enter that body, creates an atmosphere for the mother to live in, creating an atmosphere of expectation, or we could call it a welcoming spirit.

Therefore there are three things I want to point out here this morning that Brother Branham is laying out for us to understand, and they are:

#1) Brother Branham said, we bypassed our theophany (Our Word Body) in order to come to the world to be tested by the Word. See, we have bypassed that to come straight from God, the attribute, to be flesh to be tempted and tested by sin like Adam did. That is the state we are in here in this flesh. He then shows how it all begins in the womb, …

#2) Then he speaks of our journey back to the image of the Son. How that a little spark of Light starts us on our road back to the image  we were ordained to be manifesting. You see, that little spark of life that you had in you from the beginning when you started your journey... Many of you can remember it. You joined this church and joined that church, and try this and that; nothing satisfied. That's right. But one day you just recognized it.

#3) He said, when this robe of flesh is dropped, there is a natural body, theophany, a body not made with hands, neither born of a woman, that we go to. Then that body returns back and picks up the glorified body. Then that body returns back and picks up the glorified body. Then we become the Word. Here we are formed to the Word image to be a partaker of the Word, feed on the Word, by being predestinated since the beginning.

Now the apostle Paul tells us the same thing:  I Corinthians 15:35    But some [man] will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come? 36 [Thou] fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die: 37 And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other [grain]: (Here Paul tells us it is all like planting and harvesting. He says the body you plant into the ground is not the same as what comes forth out of the ground. He says, that little seed that goes into the ground has in it a life and it is that life that comes forth, up from the ground into manifestation as to what life lay within it. And he recons that to what happens with the human body and in the resurrection He continues: )38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body. (Now, this is important for us to see here. Every Seed is given it's own body. Therefore Elect See have one kind of a body that they will come up in and non elect seed also must have another kind of body they will come up in. One incorruptable and the other corruptible. One that is impossible for it to die, while the other very capable of dying.) 39 All flesh [is] not the same flesh: but [there is] one [kind of] flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, [and] another of birds.

Now, pay close attention to this next verse. 40 [There are] also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: (Notice he is identifying two different kinds of bodies. There are earthly bodies and heavenly bodies. Then he speaks of the heavenly.) but the glory (That word is doxa, and it speaks of this celestial being or body is capable of having a glory, of having an opinion, assessment and judgment, which is the same word Jesus used and which God speaks of the Elect only receiving.) but the glory of the celestial [is] one, and the terrestrial [is] another (Heteros, meaning; of a different nature altogether).

Now, the King James version translators injected the word glory here, in speaking of the terrestrial, but it is nowhere to be found in the original. In fact the literal translation is this: There are bodies made for celestial beings which are capable of reflecting God's glory, and there are bodies made for the earth which are not, for they have another nature within them, a nature which in no way reflects God's Glory.

Paul continues by saying; 41 [There is] one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for [one] star differeth from [another] star in glory.  42 So also [is] the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: 43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: 44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. 45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam [was made] a quickening spirit. 46 Howbeit that [was] not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. (Now why would Paul make this distinction the way he does. The reason is because that is the way it is. That is why brother Branham can say, we bypassed out theophany. Because Paul said it. Paul distinctly tells us the natural man comes first and then the spirit man. And that is the order of the resurrection. The man is given a body in this earth for the testing of the Word. If there is no word in him it simply goes back to the dust from which it came. However, if that Body had received the Spirit of God by the new birth, then that person receives there spirit body when their soul leaves the body of the dust.  )47 The first man [is] of the earth, earthy: the second man [is] the Lord from heaven. (Thus Paul is making a distinction between the earth bound man and the Elect Son or Daughter of God. He continues to clarify this by saying, )48 As [is] the earthy(earthbound), such [are] they also that are earthy (earthbound): and as [is] the heavenly, such [are] they also that are heavenly.  Therefore you can see Paul letting us know that there will be two groups of people. Those who are made only for the earth and that is there final destination, canon fodder so to speak. Ashes for the regeneration of the earth. But notice the other group are made for a heavenly purpose, and he continues to tell us the cycle of life of these by not only saying and as [is] the heavenly, such [are] they also that are heavenly. (But notice Paul clarifies this group by saying that they are the ones who will receive a change.)49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

In other words, although while here on earth we have what appears to be a earthly appearance, yet we have a change coming. Notice verse 50.  Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. (Paul is telling us we can not stay in this earthly condition to inherit the kingdom of God. And yet if we are ordained to inherit it, then something must happen to the appearance we have. And that thing which must happen is that we must be changed in our bodies.) 51 ¶  Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, And now Paul will begin to tell us how that change will take place. 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal [must] put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where [is] thy sting? O grave, where [is] thy victory? 56 The sting of death [is] sin; and the strength of sin [is] the law. 57 But thanks [be] to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

58 ¶  Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Now, the life cycle has been presented to us. We are born into this world for testing of the Word. Only the elect of God are given something within them that will receive that Word because only the Elect Seed are ordained to be able to understand the Word and to believe it.

ACTS 13:48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.

MATTHEW 13:1   The same day went Jesus out of the house, and sat by the sea side. 2    And great multitudes were gathered together unto him, so that he went into a ship, and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore. 3 And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow; 4 And when he sowed, some [seeds] fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up: 5 Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth: 6 And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away. 7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them: 8 But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold. 9 Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

MATTHEW 13:10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? 11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. 12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. 13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. 14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: 15    For this people's heart is waxed gross, and [their] ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with [their] eyes, and hear with [their] ears, and should understand with [their] heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. 16  But blessed [are] your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. 17    For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous [men] have desired to see [those things] which ye see, and have not seen [them]; and to hear [those things] which ye hear, and have not heard [them]. 18  Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. 19    When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth [it] not, then cometh the wicked [one], and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. 20 But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; 21 Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. 22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. 23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth [it]; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. 24 ¶  Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: 25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. 26  But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. 27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? 28    He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? 29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. 30  Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

MARK 4:1   And he began again to teach by the sea side: and there was gathered unto him a great multitude, so that he entered into a ship, and sat in the sea; and the whole multitude was by the sea on the land. 2 And he taught them many things by parables, and said unto them in his doctrine, 3 Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow: 4    And it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up. 5 And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth: 6 But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away. 7 And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit. 8 And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred. 9 And he said unto them, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. 10 And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable. 11 And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all [these] things are done in parables: 12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and [their] sins should be forgiven them. 13 And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables? 14 The sower soweth the word. 15 And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts. (This is an aborted life because satan does this to the life of the word in this person) 16 And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness; 17 And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended. (This is the still born child who hear and receive with joy but then when the Word is preached that calls forth for them to bear the cross of the Word, they get offended. )18 And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word, 19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful. (This is the Laodicean bunch who love the cares of this world more than they love God's Word which calls for a total separation from unbelief and the things of this world.) 20 And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive [it], and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred. (This is the Elect seed Gene of God who are ordained to receive the change in the body)

ROMANS 12:1  I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, [which is] your reasonable service. 2  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

II THESSALONIANS 1:7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, 8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: 9  Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; 10 When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed ) in that day. 11 ¶  Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of [this] calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of [his] goodness, and the work of faith with power: 12 That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Remember we showed you that there are two types of people, the one who is earth bound and the other who is ordained to have a body change that will take on an immortal celestial body.  We have shown that we receive our transformation by the renewing of the mind. Well, Paul also tells us that our conversation indicates to us where our body will be.

PHILIPPIANS 3:20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: 21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

I JOHN 3:1   Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. 4 ¶  Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

E-35  EXPLAINING HEALING AND JAIRUS  54-0216 You are now. Now, we're sons of God. Now, we're seated together in heavenly places. Now, we have all powers in heavens and the earth. See? Now, we have it. Not in the millennium, we won't need it then. We got it now. We're... Right now we are the sons of God. "It does not appear what we shall be, but we know we'll be like Him."  What you are here is a reflection of what you are somewhere else. "Those who He called, He justifies." Is that right? "Those who He justified, He has glorified."        Already in the Presence of the Father, we have a glorified body. Whew! Wasn't that deep? All right. We'll find out whether it's right or not. "If this earthly tabernacle be dissolved, we have one already waiting." Is that right? That's right. So right now, and what we are there, is a reflection. Here, what we are here, is a reflection of what we are somewhere else. So if your deeds are evil, you know where it comes from. You know where your other body's a waiting.

E-33  CURTAIN OF TIME   55-0302  And notice, while they spake about Him, talked about Him, He appeared. That's a good way to get Him around you: talk about Him all the time. Amen. Keep your conversation, not on who's... Or where the next play comes up on the television, or the next movies going to come, or who's going to be elected president: talk about Jesus. Christians talk about everything but Christ in these days. Go out, they always got a bunch of nonsense and everything they want to talk about or something, but never talking about Christ. Talk about Him. Sing about Him. Love Him; keep Him on your heart and mind all the day and night.  David said about the, he'd bind the laws upon his fingers and the bedpost, and so He'd be before him all the time. That's the way; keep Him before you in memory, thoughts, praise, speech. All that should do is keep Christ before you. That's the way to keep Him near you.

Col  3: 4 we read, "When Christ who is our Life shall appear, then shall we appear with Him in Glory."
