ONENESS # 6

To Believe in Him You must Be IN Him

                               SEPT. 13, 1992

                              Brian Kocourek

This  morning I would like to pick up where we left off the  last time  I  spoke  to you before going to Knoxville.  We  read  from      PP.  24  of  ONENESS where brother  Branham  made  an  astounding statement which I believe bares repeating. So let's read it again as we open up this message of ONENESS.

24 ONENESS 62-0211  "  Jesus  said,  going  to the grave  of  Lazarus,  "I  am  the          resurrection  and  Life. He that believeth in Me,  though  he  be  dead, yet shall he live. And whosoever liveth and believeth in Me  shall never die. [1]Believeth in Me, not on Me, but in Me." Being in  Him, believing![1] "If ye abide in Me and My Words in you." [1]In  Him,
believing[1]! Oh, my! I hope the Holy Spirit gets that right down to you.  Now, you're the little flock, that's why through the  week, praying  and asking God, I chose this text, to show you where  we
stand. Believing in Him. You cannot believe in Him until you come in  Him, or, He comes in you, then you're believing in Him,  then you have Eternal Life.[1] You're believing on Him until you  receive Eternal Life, then Eternal Life is God's Life in you, then you're believing in Him.

Now  this statement is tremendous in itself. In order to  believe in Him you must be in Him. Until then, you are only believing  on Him.

That is exactly what I've been saying throughout the first  five sermons we  have taken from this message ONENESS. I have told you all  along  that brother Branham is telling us we  can  not  have
ONENESS with God unless we are a part of God. That Seed, which is His Word, must be in you. Nothing else will do. I don't care  who comes  to  you and tells you different. Paul said, "If  I  or  an
angel  from  heaven come and preach any other thing than  what  I have already preached, let him be accursed."

Brother Branham said, " You cannot believe in Him until you come in  Him, or, He comes in you, then you're believing in Him,  then you have Eternal Life. You're believing on Him until you  receive
Eternal Life, then Eternal Life is God's Life in you, then you're believing in Him."

And Who is God? He's the Word. Then it must be His Word Life  in you. Jesus said, "My Words are spirit and they are Life."

Now you know that I have taught you for years that you won't make it in on just a mental conception. You know that is true. But I'm also telling you that you won't make it in on Word plus. It isn't
the Word plus, it has got to be the Word period. Brother  Branham said from Q & A 8/23/64 " There's only one evidence of the Holy Spirit  that  I  know  of, and that is a  genuine  faith  in  the
promised Word of the hour[1]! So if God's vindicated Word says, that there is only one evidence, then anything else is Word Plus.

REVELATION.22:18 For  I  testify  unto every man that heareth  the  words  of  the    prophecy  of this book, If any man shall add unto  these  things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

REVELATION.22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy,  God shall take away his part out of the book of  life, and out of the holy city, and [from] the things which are written in this book.

So  don't mess with this Word brother or sister. Leave it  as  it is.  Don't  try to make it say something it doesn't  say.  That's where  people  go  off.  And remember,  one  word  off  and  your   finished. Your adding to it will put you in the tribulation,  you take  from  it and your names taken from the book  of  Life.  God don't want you to mess with His Word. Keep it just as He said it.

You  see,  the thing of it is, Where people get so  confused,  is that they might look out and see someone sitting in our midst  or in this message that has believed the message for years but there
seems to be no revival going on in that person. And they want  to say we are all that way. We are not all that way. It'll be in the minority anyhow. But just because these people might not see  any
outward  evidence  in a persons life they think that  nothing  is going  on. But brother Branham said, one of these days  there  is going  to be a resurrection and a change of the Living  and  many
people  will  be surprised as to who makes it and who  does  not. Many  people  who thought for certain that they would  go,  won't even be there and many people who you never thought would make it
will  be there. So who are we to judge. "Shall not the  Judge  of all the earth do right?"

But  we  know  one thing for sure, You can't put  your  trust  in anything  outside  of this revealed Word of God.  No  vision,  no experience, no visitation, nothing. Did not our Lord Himself say, "  Let  every  man's word be a lie but mine be  truth  saith  the Lord." The only thing you can trust in is "Thus saith the Lord." That's  why brother Branham would always say, "Just say what  the tapes say, don't add to it and don't put your own words to it."

Now follow this through in PP. 25

25 ONENESS 62-0211 "Ye  in Me, I in you. That they might be one, Father,  even  as You  and  I are one." God in Christ, Christ in the  Church.  See? "Just  as we are one, so they be One." Then how can you  be  one? "If  ye abide in Me, My Words in you." See, abide! "My  Words  in you, then ask what you will." For it isn't you no more, it's  the Word that's in you, and the Word is God.

You see what I have been trying to teach you people for the  past few  years? The only way you can be one with God is by  His  Word coming in and replacing your thoughts with His thoughts. ONENESS.

Now,  let's  just turn to the scripture that Brother  Branham  is quoting from:

JOHN.15:7 "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you."

He  said, "If My Word abides in you."  Now that answers  it  all. What  does it mean "If my Word abides in you." What does it  mean to ABIDE ?

ABIDE: MENO; TO DWELL, ENDURE, REMAIN; TO STAY IN A GIVEN PLACE.

And  what is that place? His Word. Brother Branham said in  God's only  provided place of Worship that His Word is the  only  place where God will meet the believer. Not a vision. But the Word. Not
and experience. The Word. The Word. The Word. The Word. The Word.

It  just  slays me when I hear some well intentioned  person  say that  it  is  not the Word or the Message that  brings  Life  but you've got to have an experience. Brother Branham said, there  is no  Life outside the revealed Word. So I don't know what kind  of Life he's looking for, but outside this Word it can not be  God's Life.

In  fact from the Message "THERE IS A MAN HERE THAT CAN  TURN  ON THE  LIGHT  PP  96  Brother  Branham  said,  "There's  nothing, n.o.t.h.i.n.g.  that  can give you Life but the  spoken  Word  of God."

I don't care how many times you have a vision or a visitation  or whatever you may have, THUS SAITH THE LORD, "NOTHING CAN GIVE YOU LIFE OUTSIDE THE SPOKEN WORD." Do you hear me. That is THUS SAITH THE  LORD. Now try and show me contrary to that and your a  false
prophet.  And  the Bible said they would be so close that  if  it were  possible it would deceive the very elect. But  Praise  God, The Word Bride will spot one Word off. Not Visions, Revelation. Not Visitations, REVELATION. And a vision is not a revelation.  A visitation is not a revelation.

You want that Assurance:

HEBREWS.10:22  Let  us draw near with a true heart in full assurance  [1]of  faith, having  our  hearts sprinkled from an evil  conscience,  and  our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the profession of  [our] [1]faith without wavering[1]; <WHY?>  (for [1]He  [is]  faithfulthat promised;)

Oh,  brother, if you can't take God at His Word, your  lost.  How can you say that you've Got to see Him and say you won't see  Him in this Word. He is here in the form of the Word. If He wanted us to  see  His Body or some other visible  manifestation,  then  He would be obligated to come that way.

Even  Brother Branham said He received the Word by faith when  he was  born  again. He never had to have a visitation  to  be  born again  and you don't either. Except to receive the visitation  of Christ  Revealed  in His Word through His Prophet in  this  Hour. That's the only visitation you will need to receive.

Look,  Satan  appeared  visibly as an angel of  light  to  Martin Luther, while he was preparing one of his sermons. You know  what Martin  Luther  did? He sure didn't fall  prostrate  before  this angel of Light. He through his inkwell at him. Don't, don't, don't fall for this stuff. You've got to trust in God and His Word.  If you don't trust God's Word for your assurance, then it shows  you are  none of His. Because that is what sets his seed  apart  from all  this Pentecostal bate that is going on today. Only His  seed will  have total confidence that if God said it then  heaven  and earth  will pass away before even one jot or tittle of  His  Word could fail. It can't fail.

HEBREWS.10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if [any man] draw back,  my soul shall have no pleasure in him. 39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the  saving of the soul.

Believe to the what? The saving of the soul. There you are.

HEBREWS.11:1 Now  faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence  of
things not seen.   Do you believe that?

Faith is what? It's an evidence.  You want an evidence. I'll give you the bible evidence. It's spelled F.A.I.T.H. Is that right?

And  what is it the evidence of? THINGS NOT SEEN.

Doesn't the scripture say that "MORE BLESSED ARE THEY WHICH  HAVE NOT SEEN YET BELIEVE?"

Consider  yourselves  more blessed if you must believe  by  Faith only.

But  if  you can see it, then it can't be faith  right?  Then  a vision is not faith. A visitation is not Faith. And if faith is a revelation.  Then  to see a vision can not produce  a  revelation because to see it cancels out any hope of it being faith.

HEBREWS.11:6 But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh  to  God  must  believe that he is, and  [that]  he  is  a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

So  if  you got to see it to believe it, what is that?  It  won't please Him. You're just doubting Thomas's.

26 ONENESS 62-0211  Now, the Word of God is a Sword. Hebrews, the 4th chapter, says
so,  Hebrews  4:12. Now, it is a Sword. And a  sword  is  perfect dormant  if it isn't yielded by a hand or a power. And it...  but it  takes a hand to hold the Sword. And the, take the  hand  that
holds this Sword, is the hand of faith.

Now  let's just look at this hand of faith. He says here that  it takes  a hand of faith to hold the sword of the Word. Right?  And Faith  is  the evidence of things not seen. Therefore,  it  takes
FAITH  in the unseen to hold to the Word of God. Right?  Then  to see  a vision or to hold to needing a special visitation of  your own shows you are in no condition to hold the Word. For it  takes a hand of Faith. F.A.I.T.H. in His Word.

Now  let's just stop here for a moment and just think about  this hand  of faith. Now why did he say hand. What is there about  the hand  that  is so fitting about this Faith he is  talking  about. What does the hand represent anyway? When you receive the Mark of  God,  where  does it mark you. In The forehead and  in  the  hand right? And the same with the mark of the beast, right? So t  have
the faith just in the forehead doesn't show yet a real belief and trust.  But the hand is a sign that the actions bare  witness  of what  is revealed in the mind which is the womb to the soul.  And
before  it  can move into the hand, it must first drop  from  the head down into the heart and then out into the hand. Right?

As  brother Branham so often said, When the spirit quickens  that Word  to  you it drops down from the mind into the soul,  or  the heart  and it then becomes a spiritual revelation. As long as  it is  only in the mind, it is doing you no good. But when it  drops down  into your soul or heart and then moves out into your  body, then  in  the hands it becomes a revelation breaking  forth  into manifestation. There you are. That's why the hand is so important in  this  illustration. It is the hand of faith. The  hand  shows that the revelation is moving out into manifestation showing that it  is alive and well in you. And showing that you and that  Word have become One. ONENESS. That's what we are studying.

27 ONENESS  62-0211  Now  that hand of faith, it depends on how strong it  is.  This hand  of faith might just be strong enough to cut a  little  hole through  the  darkness and say, "By faith I'm  saved."  That's  a great cut, but, then, if that's all the stronger that hand is  to yield  that Sword, that's all it can cut. But, if it's  a  strong-hand,  it'll cut plumb through everything the Devil can  put  out there, make every promise of God shine forth in the power of  His resurrection.  If  it's  a strong hand of  faith,  "The  days  of miracles! Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today, and  forever", cut  its way through. It depends on the power of the hand  behind the Sword.

Now  remember  one thing here lest you become carried  away.  The Scripture  plainly  tells us , that it IS NOT BY  POWER,  NOR  BY STRENGTH, BUT BY MY SPIRIT SAITH THE LORD."

So we must not think that this power is our ability to handle the Word,  but simply we have gotten our own thinking out of the  way and  He is now in full control of our mental revelation  and  has dropped it down into our soul to where it has caught on fire  and has  begun to consume us as nothing else can. Nothing has  got  a hold of me like this Word does. Everything is boring, but this is LIFE.

Now  brother  Branham said, that hand is a strong hand. It  is  a hand of POWER. So who' hand is it?

MATTHEW.26:64 Jesus  saith  unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I  say  unto you,  Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the  right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

So who is the right hand of power. God!

The whole thing is in Him. It's not by might nor by power but  by My  Spirit Saith the Lord. It's not your bulldog faith. It's  His Faith. Paul said, I am crucified with Christ nevertheless I live,
Yet  Not I but Christ That liveth in me and the life that  I  now live, I live by the Faith [1]of[1] The Son of God."

You see? It must be wielded by a strong hand of faith. And therefore  it must be His hand of faith living itself out through  me, through you. Now that doesn't mean it is me or you, but Christ in
me and Christ in you.

COLOSSIANS.3:4 "When  Christ, [who is] our life, shall appear, then  shall  ye also appear with him in glory."

He  is  our life, and it's by His revelation of Himself  that  we live  by. His Life! His Revelation,! His Faith! His  Spirit!  His Word! He is the all and all. The Lilly of the Valley, The  Bright and Morning Star. The Rose of Sharon my all and all.

Song ( He's all I need, He's all I need. Jesus is all I need)

I PETER 5:6 "Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God,  that
he may exalt you in due time: "

ECCLESIASTES 9:1 For  all this I considered in my heart even to declare all  this, that  the  Righteous, and the Wise, and their works, are  in  the hand of GOD:

ECCLESIASTES 10:2 "A Wise man's heart is at His right hand; but a fool's heart  at
his left;"

And where you treasure is, there will your heart be also.

David said, in the PSALMS,

PSALMS 16:8 " I  have set the LORD always before me: because [he is]  at  my right  hand, I shall not be moved. 9 Therefore my heart is  glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope. 10  For thou  wilt  not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt  thou  suffer thine  Holy One to see corruption. 11 Thou wilt shew me the  path of  life: in thy presence [is] fulness of joy; at thy right  hand [there are] pleasures for evermore.

28 ONENESS 62-0211 And  the Sword is plenty sharp. Hebrews 4, said, "It's  sharper than a two-edged sword that cuts both coming and going, and  even goes  to  the--the marrow of the bone, and in the joints,  and  a discerner  of  the  thoughts  of  the  heart."  Goes  beyond  the physical,  it  goes  into the spiritual realm and  picks  up  the thoughts  of the heart and reveals them. The Spirit of  God,  the Word of God.

 29 ONENESS -- JEFF.IN -- V-10 N-2 -- 62-0211

Now,  that Word will cut in there if there's enough arm  behind It to push It in, it'll find Its place and cut every promise  out and give It to you, if you just got the strong enough arm  behind
it.  The  Sword, pick It up in an arm--an arm of faith!  Grip  It tight, hold onto It and walk into the face of the enemy. How  can that  uncircumcised  enemy  ever stand in  the  Presence  of  the
Eternal  God?  So,  you take the Sword of  the  Word,  and  every promise  belongs  to you. Pick It up in a strong hand  of  faith, walk  forward!  If you need healing, cut it out  with  the  Word, "Jesus  Christ, the same yesterday, today, and forever."  If  you need salvation, every promise in the Bible is yours. It's  laying back  in there and Satan's trying to hide it, but take the  Sword
and  push through the darkness until the Light of God  shines  in upon your soul and you have the promise. He will do it.

Notice,  He says, How can that uncircumcised enemy ever stand  in the  Presence of the Eternal God? How, By wielding with the  hand of  Faith, Christ's  Faith, the Word of God. God is the Word.  So
you  are wielding God, and the Power of God as ROMANS 1: 16  say, "the  Gospel  of Christ is the POWER of GOD." So then it  is  His Faith  wielding  His Power of His PRESENCE on  your  behalf. And Since  you are abiding in Him and He, His Word in you, then  it's not you asking, it's Him asking for you.

JOHN.15:7 "If  ye abide in me, and my words abide in you,"What  will happen?  " ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall  bedone unto you."

Then  it's not you asking, but it's Him asking through  you.  You want wife and your kids saved? Ask and ye shall receive.

30 ONENESS 62-0211 "Adam was a part of, or, Eve was a part of Adam, she was  flesh
of  his flesh and bone of his bone. And that's what  the  correct union  is.  And that's what the correct union of the  Church  is, Spirit of His Spirit, Word of His Words. Never deviating from the
Word,  the  real true believer will not compromise on  any  Word. Remember, it was just one Word that Eve compromised on, one Word. But  the true believer won't compromise on any Word.  It'll  hold the Sword of the Faith with... in faith, rather, the Sword of the Word, and claim every Divine promise God made. That's it."

A  vision can't give you that promise. A Visitation can not  give you that promise. But THUS SAITH THE LORD. The just shall live by faith.  To Live by faith is to use the hand of faith which is  to apply the token. How do you apply paint. You roll it on the  wall right? With what do you roll it with? Your hands.

Then how do you apply the token? You use the Hand of faith  which is His hand of power, the mighty hand of God:

I PETER 5:6 "Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God,  that
he may exalt you in due time:
"

II CORINTHIANS 5:7 (" For we walk by faith, not by sight:" )

HEBREWS.13:7 Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken  unto
you  the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end  of [their] conversation.

HEBREWS.13:17

Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they  watch for your souls, as they that must give account,  that they  may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that  [is]  unprofitable for you.         LET'S JUST BOW OUR HEADS IN PRAYER.
