ONENESS # 14

Broken Oneness Broken Fellowship

November 1, 1992

Rev Brian Kocourek

Last  week  we spoke from PP. 62 - 73. We began in review  as  we always  do.  This time we reviewed PP. 62 where  brother  Branham said,

There  are  five points that brother Branham makes here  in  this paragraph, and we shall briefly cover them this morning.

62 ONENESS 62-0211  Now,  (1) when Adam and Eve listened to the lie of  the  Devil, the holy image of God left them, (2) their fellowship was  broken with  God.  Their  fellowship of oneness  with  God  was  broken.      (3)  The very minute they listened to the lie of the Devil,  that broke  their fellowship. And the very minute that you  listen  to the  lie of the Devil, it'll break your fellowship(4) That's  the very  minute that you go out from the Presence of God,  like  she did, is when you failed to take God's Word (5) just as It is.

 # 1) When  Adam and Eve listened to the devil's lie the holy image  of God left them. Now it was not just simply or merely listening  to it  as though listening is only hearing it. But it was more  than just hearing it. It was her agreement with and entering into  the devil's  lie  that caused the holy image to leave.  Now  remember what the holy image was.

HEBREWS 1: 1 - 3 <read> IMAGE = CHARAKTER, the very nature of God. The word character means a distinctive trait, or quality,  or  attribute; characteristic. The pattern of behavior or personality found in theindividual. Essential quality;  nature, KIND  or sort.

And  didn't GENESIS 1: 11 say that every seed was to bring  forth after  it's kind. Human seed can not mix with dog seed,  and  hog seed  can not mix with cat seed. But when male dog seed comes  in contact with female dog, the life that comes forth is dog. It can not  bring forth cat. And when human male meets human female,  it brings forth human. Not just some viable tissue mass in the womb,  But a genuine human being.

So  when  Adam was created in the IMAGE of God, and  God  is  the Word,  then  Adam came forth as a manifestation  of  God's  Word. Then, when he and Eve listened to the lie of the devil, it wasn't just  a  matter  of her listening and then going  away,  but  she entered into that lie and she allowed herself to receive the seed of  the serpent's own life, and  that seed was  interjected  into her and it produced in her a life that was contrary to God's  own Life  from whence she came, a nature that was contrary  to  God's own  nature,  a word which was contrary to God's own  word  which said, every seed after it's own kind. So what was produced in her womb  broke the nature and the  pattern of the nature of  God  in His offspring.

You see, when she listened, she then partook of that lie and  the life  or nature of that lie (the seed) entered into her.  Brother Branham said, in order to commit adultery, you have first got  to agree  to  do  it in your mind. And that is  what  she  did.  She  listened  first to the devil's lie. The seed of that lie  entered into her. She then became one with that lie and then as a  result she became one with the Serpent who presented the lie to her  and as  a  result she received his seed into her.  Notice  the  wrong nature  came in and it's progression here.

JAMES 1: 13 - 15 <read>

It is a progression that we follow. Even as we progressively  are built up into Christ, so too sin is a progressive tearing down.

We  can see the same thing hold true with every doctrine of  man. The reason men preach certain things is that they have a  certain lust or desire in their mind. They then begin to dwell upon that lust  or  desire  and it becomes all encompassing  to  them.  The thought becomes an action. Once the thought becomes an action  it must  become a doctrine in order to justify themselves. And  thus it grows and takes over everything about that person or  persons. You  can see how it developed in this message with  the  polygamy doctrine.

The  1st thing that happened was that it all began by  a  certain minister  wanted  to  better  control  his  people  so  he  began  reaching that the pastor is the spiritual husband. He then began to take the place of the husband in the people's homes and  began to counsel directly with the sister. The husbands lost control of their own home as the head of it. This minister began to get  too close to the sisters in counseling with them and began to lust in his  heart for some of them. As he then tried to reason out  what was  happening, he saw a statement that brother Branham made  and he  began to dwell upon it. That statement is " the SOUL  is  the NATURE of the SPIRIT".

He  found another statement where brother Branham said  "we  have two   natures".  So  then  by  the  principal  of  summation   or interpolation,  he said if we have two natures and the nature of the spirit  is  the  soul, thus we must  have  two  souls.  This minister  began  to  preach two natures and soon  it  became  TWO souls. He began to focus all his sermons upon these two souls  in which  he taught that men had two souls, an old soul and the  new soul.  But God's Prophet never said that.

If  they  would have gone to the scripture they would  have  seen that Paul spoke of having two natures also. But he placed one  as the  soul and the other as the nature of the flesh. And he  said,   "  O wretched man that I am, who can deliver me from the body  of this death." Then he said, " I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Now,  one thing leads to another, and the desire then  must  come forth into manifestation. If the desire is a wrong desire it will manifest  itself in every wicked devise and eventually  leads  to death and separation from God as we read in the book of James.

So  the  next development was that when this man would  lust  for these sisters, he would justify it as his old soul acting up. But then  he  came  across a statement  that  brother  Branham  said, "Polygamy was a far cry better than what we have in this  country today  with all this divorce." So off he went. He failed to  take heed  to  the last part of that statement where  brother  Branham said, but it's still wrong. So now this man could justify himself in his evil deed. He now had quotes, so he believes, that justify his actions.

But  you don't take God's Word to justify yourself. You  come  to the  Word  as it is and it will justify. So we see how  the  holy image of God which is His Holy Nature left Eve. It had too.

And  remember  also, as we have shown you in the  scripture.  The nature of God is the Nature of His Word, for He is the Word.  And what nature was shown when His Word first went forth?

GENESIS.1:1

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2 And  the earth  was  without form, and void; and darkness [was]  upon  the face  of the deep. And [1]the Spirit of God[1] moved upon the  face  of the waters."

Now  this word spirit here is a Hebrew word "ruwach" which  means the rational being, including His expressions and His  functions. The mind." So we see here that it was not only God, but the  very nature of God that moved over the waters as the wind or breath of God,  so  to  speak. God's very nature  beginning  to  move  into operation.

GENESIS  1:3  And God said, Let there be light:  and  there  was light.  4  And God saw the light, that [it was]  good:  and God divided  the light from the darkness. 5 And God called the  light Day,  and the darkness he called Night. And the evening  and  the morning  were  the  first day. 6 And God said,  Let  there  be  a  firmament  in  the  midst of the waters, and let  it  divide  the waters from the waters. 7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which [were] under the firmament from the waters which [were]  above the firmament: and it was so. 8 And God called  the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day."

Now,  notice  here  the nature of God as  His  Word  went  forth.  Remember that before there was a word it was a thought. And those thoughts  as they were collected and sent forth, they  went  into manifestation. And what did it produce? A separation. God's  Word calls for a total separation from unbelief. That's His nature. Now, watch what happens next as His Word goes forth into motion.

GENESIS  1:9  And God said, Let the waters under  the  heaven  be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry [land]  appear and  it was so. 10 And God called the dry [land] Earth;  and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas[1]: and God saw that [it was] good.

You  see that this separation is actually caused by a  gathering. Those  things of like kind are gathered together, and those  that are not of like kind are not gathered together but are  separated unto their own kind. 'The wheat can not be heir with the shuck."

 MATTHEW.3:11

I  indeed  baptize you with water unto repentance:  but  he  that cometh  after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not  worthy to  bear:  he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost,  and  [with] fire: 12 Whose fan [is] in his hand, and he will thoroughly  purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

LUKE 17:36

Two [men] shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and  the other left. 37 And they answered and said unto him, Where,  Lord? And  he said unto them, Wheresoever the body [is],  thither  will the eagles be [1]gathered together.

Now, what does the gathering? Christ's great presence. Why?  It's His Nature to gather.

II THESSALONIANS 2:1

Now  we beseech you, brethren, by the PAROUSIA of our Lord  Jesus Christ, and [by] our [1]gathering together unto him[1],

I THESSALONIANS 4:16

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the  voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:  and  the dead  in Christ shall rise first: Notice, where have the dead  in Christ been? In Christ. Gathered by His Word in the 5th dimension.

1 THESSALONIANS 4:17

Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be [1]caught up  together with  them  in the clouds[1], to meet the Lord in the  air:  and  so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one  another with these words.

What  comfort  to know that He is the same yesterday,  today  and forever. He is God and He changes not. What He began doing by His nature He will continue to do.

Then as the gathering goes forth, it allows LIFE to come forth.

GENESIS 1: 11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass,  the herb yielding seed, [and] the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed [is] in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

I PETER 1:3

Blessed  [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,  which according  to  his abundant mercy hath begotten us again  unto  a living hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

EPHESIANS 2:1

And  you  [hath he quickened], who were dead  in  trespasses  and sins;  ...  4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his  great  love wherewith  he  loved us, 5 Even when we were dead in  sins,  hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

COLOSSIANS 2:13

And  you, being dead in your sins and the un-circumcision of  your flesh,  hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven  you all  trespasses;  14 Blotting out the handwriting  of  ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;  15  [And]  having  spoiled principalities  and  powers,  he  made a  shew  of  them  openly,   triumphing over them in it.

COLOSSIANS 3:1

If  ye  then be risen with Christ, seek those  things  which  are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set  your affection  on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For  ye are dead, and your life is hid [1]with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, [who  is] our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear  with him in glory.

 POINT # 2

 (2)  their fellowship was broken with God. Their  fellowship  of oneness  with God was broken. We see how their fellowship  became broken  with God and we examined this the last few weeks in  more detail, so I'll just leave this thought with this scripture.

"How can two walk together lest they be agreed."

I JOHN 1:6

"If  we  say  that  we have fellowship  with  him,  and  walk  in   darkness,  we lie, and do not the truth: 7 But if we walk in  the light,  as  he  is  in the light, we  have  fellowship  one  with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us  from all sin. "

II CORINTHIANS 6:14

Be  ye  not unequally yoked together with unbelievers:  for  which fellowship  hath  righteousness with  unrighteousness?  and  what communion  hath  light with darkness? 15 And  what  concord  hath Christ  with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with  an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell  in them, and walk in [them]; and I will be their God,  and they  shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among  them, and  be  ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not  the  unclean [thing];  and  I will receive you, 18 And will be a  Father  unto you,  and  ye  shall be my sons and  daughters,  saith  the  Lord  Almighty."

Once you leave His Word, your fellowship is broken right there.

POINT # 3

(3)  The very minute they listened to the lie of the Devil,  that broke  their fellowship. And the very minute that you  listen  to the lie of the Devil, it'll break your fellowship.

Not  only  did it break their fellowship with God but  with  each other.

GENESIS 3:9

And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where [art] thou? 10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I  was afraid,  because I [was] naked; and I hid myself.11 And he  said, Who  told  thee that thou [wast] naked? Hast thou  eaten  of  the tree,  whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not  eat?  12 And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest [to be] with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat. 13 And the LORD God said unto the  woman, What [is] this [that] thou hast done? And  the  woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.

What a cop out. He passed the buck to her and she dumped it right off  back  to the serpent. But the serpent didn't rape  her.  She wasn't  made  or  forced against her will. And  neither  are  you forced against your will to sin and leave God's Word.

Look  at  the break up of their fellowship. He  blamed  her,  she blamed another and on and on it goes. Sound familiar?

I hope not.

73 ONENESS Then  as  soon as the fellowship was broken  between  Adam  and Eve...  As  soon as their fellowship was broke  between  God  and them, then their fellowship between each other was broke.

74 ONENESS  Listen!  Anytime a church breaks its fellowship, to throw  itself into  an organization, the fellowship of the believers is  broke. We've  got  to      believe with one heart,  one  mind,  and  one     accord. That's the way they was before the union was ever made on the  Day  of Pentecost; one heart one mind, and one  accord.  And when you throw a church into an organization, you're going to get all  kinds of fractions in it. Because, some of them children  in there  is going to believe in God, they're going to hold  to  the thing that's right, and the others will go the other way. So, you have no fellowship. Yes."

75 ONENESS What? Her thinking changed. Oh, yes, her thinking changed.  Her fellowship with her husband wasn't right. They begin to pass  the buck.  See? Her thinking was actually changed. Why? She  had  the life  of  the Devil in her. Exactly! As soon as  she  disbelieved God's  Word,  she  accepted the life of  the  Devil  because  she  accepted his teaching.

76 ONENESS   I can make this awful strong right here, but it's on tape.  I'm sure you understand, the Church.

77 ONENESS She  disbelieved God's Word and it [1]disassociated her  from  God, because  in  her right then was the life of the  Devil.  She  had believed  his lie, said, "The fruits is good," and she'd  partake them with him. That's right,

POINT # 4 That's the very minute that you go out from the Presence  of God, like she did, is when you failed to take God's Word...

Remember, if the gathering together is by the SHOUT which is  His WORD, then to leave that SHOUT causes you to leave His presence.

How  can it not, if He is the Word. To lay aside His  Word  means you are walking out from the presence of the Lord.

GENESIS 3:8

And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the  cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid  themselves  from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden....

GENESIS 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also  of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: 23  Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.

POINT # 5

That's the very minute that you go out from the Presence of  God, like she did, is when you failed to take God's Word (5) just as It is.

There in lies the problem. To take God at His Word JUST AS IT IS. That  is  why  I  try to take you back  to  the  scriptures  with  everything  that  brother Branham says. Because I have  seen  the damage  that so many who profess to be called by God  have  done. They  Lord  over  God's heritage and use the Word as  a  means  of forcing  themselves  into the very lives of the people  they  are supposed  to be serving. Just look at them. Who is serving  Whom. By  their fruits you'll know them. And what do they do.?  How  do they ensnare the people?

2 PETER 2:1 - 3 NIV But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them--bringing swift destruction on themselves. 2Many will follow their shameful ways and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. 3In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they have made up. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping.

2 JOHN 9 NIV 9Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.

JEREMIAH 5: 30 - 32  NIV A horrible and shocking thing has happened in the land: 31 The prophets prophesy lies, the priests rule by their own authority, and my people love it this way. But what will you do in the end?

ISAIAH 28: 5 - 13,  ( esp. 19b) In that day the LORD Almighty will be a glorious crown,
a beautiful wreath for the remnant of his people. 6 He will be a spirit of justice to him who sits in judgment, a source of strength to those who turn back the battle at the gate.
7 And these also stagger from wine and reel from beer: Priests and prophets stagger from beer and are befuddled with wine; they reel from beer, they stagger when seeing visions, they stumble when rendering decisions. 8 All the tables are covered with vomit and there is not a spot without filth. 9 "Who is it he is trying to teach? To whom is he explaining his message? To children weaned from their milk, to those just taken from the breast? 10 For it is: Do and do, do and do, rule on rule, rule on rule [1] ; a little here, a little there." 11 Very well then, with foreign lips and strange tongues God will speak to this people, 12 to whom he said, "This is the resting place, let the weary rest"; and, "This is the place of repose"- but they would not listen. 13 So then, the word of the LORD to them will become: Do and do, do and do,
rule on rule, rule on rule; a little here, a little there- so that they will go and fall backward, be injured and snared and captured.

ISAIAH 29: 6 - 30:1  NIV the LORD Almighty will come with thunder and earthquake and great noise, with windstorm and tempest and flames of a devouring fire. 7 Then the hordes of all the nations that fight against Ariel, that attack her and her fortress and besiege her, will be as it is with a dream, with a vision in the night- 8 as when a hungry man dreams that he is eating, but he awakens, and his hunger remains; as when a thirsty man dreams that he is drinking, but he awakens faint, with his thirst unquenched. So will it be with the hordes of all the nations that fight against Mount Zion. 9 Be stunned and amazed, blind yourselves and be sightless; be drunk, but not from wine, stagger, but not from beer. 10 The LORD has brought over you a deep sleep: He has sealed your eyes (the prophets); he has covered your heads (the seers). 11 For you this whole vision is nothing but words sealed in a scroll. And if yougive the scroll to someone who can read, and say to him, "Read this, please," he will answer, "Ican't; it is sealed." 12 Or if you give the scroll to someone who cannot read, and say, "Read this, please," he will answer, "I don't know how to read." 13 The Lord says: "These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is made up only of rules taught by men. [1] 14 Therefore once more I will astound these people with wonder upon wonder; the wisdom of the wise will perish, the intelligence of the intelligent will vanish." 15 Woe to those who go to great depths to hide their plans from the LORD , who do their work in darkness and think, "Who sees us? Whowill know?" 16 You turn things upside down, as if the potter were thought to be like the clay! Shall what is formed say to him who formed it, "He did not make me"? Can the pot say of the potter, "He knows nothing"? 17 In a very short time, will not Lebanon be turned into a fertile field and the fertile field seem like a forest? 18 In that day the deaf will hear the words of the scroll, and out of gloom and darkness the eyes of the blind will see. 19 Once more the humble will rejoice in the LORD ; the needy will rejoice in the Holy One of Israel. 20 The ruthless will vanish, the mockers will disappear, and all who have an eye for evil will be cut down- 21 those who with a word make a man out to be guilty, who ensnare the defender in court and with false testimony deprive the innocent of justice. 22 Therefore this is what the LORD , who redeemed Abraham, says to the house of Jacob: "No longer will Jacob be ashamed; no longer will their faces grow pale. 23 When they see among them their children, the work of my hands, they will keep my name holy; they will acknowledge the holiness of the Holy One of Jacob, and will stand in awe of the God of Israel. 24 Those who are wayward in spirit will gain understanding; those who complain will accept instruction."  30:1 "Woe to the obstinate children," declares the LORD , "to those who carry out plans that are not mine, forming an alliance, but not by my Spirit, heaping sin upon sin;

JEREMIAH 23: 15 - 40 NIV  Therefore, this is what the LORD Almighty says concerningthe prophets: "I will make them eat bitter food and drink poisoned water, because from the prophets of Jerusalem ungodliness has spread throughout the land." 16 This is what the LORD Almighty says: "Do not listen to what the prophets are prophesying to you; they fill you with false hopes. They speak visions from their own minds, not from the mouth of the LORD . 17 They keep saying to those who despise me, 'The LORD says: You will have peace.' And to all who follow the stubbornness of their hearts they say, 'No harm will come to you.' 18 But which of them has stood in the council of the LORD to see or to hear his word? Who has listened and heard his word? 19 See, the storm of the LORD will burst out in wrath, a whirlwind swirling down on the heads of the wicked. 20 The anger of the LORD will not turn back until he fully accomplishes the purposes of his heart. In days to come you will understand it clearly. 21 I did not send these prophets, yet they have run with their message; I did not speak to them, yet they have prophesied. 22 But if they had stood in my council, they would have proclaimed my words to my people and would have turned them from their evil ways and from their evil deeds. 23 "Am I only a God nearby," declares the LORD , "and not a God far away? 24 Can anyone hide in secret places so that I cannot see him?" declares the LORD . "Do not I fill heaven and earth?" declares the LORD . 25 "I have heard what the prophets say who prophesy lies in my name. They say, 'I had a dream! I had a dream!' 26 How long will this continue in the hearts of these lying prophets, who prophesy the delusions of their own minds? 27 They think the dreams they tell one another will make my people forget my name, just as their fathers forgot my name through Baal worship. 28 Let the prophet who has a dream tell his dream, but let the one who has my word speak it faithfully. For what has straw to do with grain?" declares the LORD . 29 "Is not my word like fire," declares the LORD , "and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces? 30 "Therefore," declares the LORD , "I am against the prophets who steal from one another words supposedly from me. 31 Yes," declares the LORD , "I am against the prophets who wag their own tongues and yet declare, 'The LORD declares.' 32 Indeed, I am against those who prophesy false dreams," declares the LORD . "They tell them and lead my people astray with their reckless lies, yet I did not send or appoint them. They do not benefit these people in the least," declares the LORD . False Oracles and False Prophets 33 "When these people, or a prophet or a priest, ask you, 'What is the oracle [1] of the LORD ?' say to them, 'What oracle? [2] I will forsake you, declares the LORD .' 34 If a prophet or a priest or anyone else claims, 'This is the oracle of the LORD ,' I will punish that man and his household. 35 This is what each of you keeps on saying to his friend or relative: 'What is the LORD's answer?' or 'What has the LORD spoken?' 36 But you must not mention 'the oracle of the LORD ' again, because every man's own word becomes his oracle and so you distort the words of the living God, the LORD Almighty, our God. 37 This is what you keep saying to a prophet: 'What is the LORD's answer to you?' or 'What has the LORD spoken?' 38 Although you claim, 'This is the oracle of the LORD ,' this is what the LORD says: You used the words, 'This is the oracle of the LORD ,' even though I told you that you must not claim, 'This is the oracle of the LORD .' 39 Therefore, I will surely forget you and cast you out of my presence along with the city I gave to you and your fathers. 40 I will bring upon you everlasting disgrace-everlasting shame that will not be forgotten."
