ONENESS # 18

Oneness in Mind by Heredity

November 29, 1992

Rev Brian Kocourek

Last week we continued from brother Branham's Message on  ONENESS and  we  read from paragraph 99 of ONENESS and spoke  about  this unity  or oneness that comes from saying the same thing  that  He said.

99 ONENESS 62-0211

"  What was it? The union, saying the same thing God says !  And that's  the confession. Confess means, "say the same thing."  And He's  the High Priest of our confession, to act upon what He  has said.  We say It's the Truth, and He acts upon It. Oh, my!  There you are. There is the conception.

We examined brother Branham's thoughts here by the Holy Scripture and showed that it is not only "just saying the same thing",  but actually  it is a condition of the heart which is the  mind  that causes you "to say the same thing," that Christ has said.

1 CORINTHIANS 1: 4 - 10 <read>

Something  is  to  happen to get us ready for  the  Revealing  of Christ. It is the anointing spoken of in 1 John 2.

1 JOHN 2: 21 <read>

This word "unction" is the word anointing. So the immutable  Word of  God let's you know assuredly that He gives you an Unction  or an anointing that allows you to know all things.

In  our  study we found that this condition of the heart  is  God given and can only come into the human heart through the Grace of Almighty  God. It is His desire that He places in you and  it  is His Faith that He gives to you that even allows you to understand what He is doing and why He is doing it.

It is not your own faith that produces this in you, but it is His faith that He places in you. Then, when you receive His faith, He anoints it by His Divine Presence and it brings illumination  and revelation  and understanding. In essence you then are  receiving His  very mind, which He has opened up to you. And you  can  only receive His mind if you are His seed as we read in Matthew 13.

ROMANS 8: 28 - 30 <read>

Even  science  has proven, that your attitudes  and  choices  are governed  by your genetic disposition. In other words, you  can't   get   away  from  what  you  are  by  birth.

Either   you   were predestinated to be conformed to the image of His Son or you were not.

TIME, FALL, 1992

pg.  82  "Like it or not, predicts Dr. Lewis  Judd,  chairman  of Psychiatry  department  at the University of  California  at  San Diego,"  " we are going to find that the attitudes we  take,  the choices we make, are far more influenced by heredity than we ever thought."

We  find  Jesus  speaking about this also in the  Book  of  JOHN.

JOHN 8 : 38 <read>

Now  let's break this down a bit. He says I do that which I  have seen with My Father. Then He say, but you do that which you  have seen  with your father. Now He was not saying that they both  see first, then they do. This is a wrong interpolation of Scripture.

First  of all the actual language here says, "I do that  which  I have seen, perceived or had revealed to me by My Father. But then He  says  to the Pharisees, "you do that which you have  seen  or experienced [1]from[1] your Father.

Now  the distinction here is this. Jesus said, "I am telling  you what  I have experienced in My Fathers Presence, and you do  that which you have heard or experienced out from your father.

JOHN 8: 41 - 47 <read>

You can see readily that if you were not in God in the beginning, you'll never be with Him in the end.

Notice,  there is the conception!

1 PETER 1: 22 - 23 <read>

NIV  "Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the  Truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers, love one another deeply,  from  the heart. For you have been born  again,  not  of perishable  seed,  but of imperishable, through  the  Living  and  enduring Word of God."

Now  why  would both brother Branham and the  Apostle  Paul  say, "there  is the conception" if they were not telling you  that  to have  or posses this oneness is Life. If God is the Word  and  in Him  is  Life and the Life is the light of man. Then  to  receive that same Word is to receive the very Life of God Himself.

Then to reject that same Word is to reject the very Life of  God. Now  remember, Satan just inserted one little word or seed.  NOT! And that started the whole disintegration of the human race or of the  God race in the flesh. So as the scripture says, as  by  one man death entered, by one man Life must come.

Now let's continue on with his Message on ONENESS. Let's pick  up at pp. 100. <read>

 100 ONENESS 62-0211

"Now watch how she--she--her union between her and her  husband was  broken. See, quickly, as soon as God said, "Adam, how'd  you do  this?" Instead of taking up for his wife, he passed it on  to his wife. "The woman Thou givest me." Union broke. See?"

101 ONENESS 62-0211

" What did she do? Instead of loving her husband and telling the Truth,  she  lied.  She--she--she--she should  have  said,  "He's innocent, I gave to him." Amen. The Bible said, "She gave to  her husband."  She should have said, "The man's innocent. I  gave  to him and then he did eat, but I was the one that give it to  him." Instead  of  that,  she  passed it on  to  the  serpent,  closest bypass."

102 ONENESS 62-0211

"That's the same thing they try to do today. See, the  husband, wife,  the union broken. Husband and wife, fellowship was  broken between them. The oneness of them was broken, the oneness between them and God was broken. The whole thing was marred. Why? Because one Word was disbelieved.

He  said, that's why the union is broken between man and wife  is that the woman disbelieved something that wasn't God's Word. Now, if the husband and wife do not see eye to eye on this Word,  then you've got a breach between them. The union is broken. Fellowship is broken between them.

That is the reason that there are so many divorces in this nation and in the world today. The feminist spirit is upon women and has raised up it's wicked head and they are just falling for the same old  trap  that Satan lured her into back there  in  the  garden. God's Word wasn't enough for her. She had to find something  that she  could teach her husband. Something she knew before he  knew. And  look  what it led to. Every filthy disease  and  wicked  sin known to man today is a result of this rebellious  spirit upon  a single woman.

In  ISAIAH  chapter 4 it says, " In that day, seven  women  which means many women, will take hold of one man and say, 'we will eat our  own bread and provide for our own clothing, only let  us  be called  by  your  name  to take  away  our  reproach."  Then  the scripture  says,  In  that day the branch of  the  Lord  will  be beautiful and glorified and it further says of those who are left in  Zion, that the Lord will wash away the filth of the women  of Zion."  ...  That's the Bride of course, but as  brother  Branham said  you  look  at  the women and that will  let  you  know  the condition of the church. And look what the women's vote got  you. A  beatnik president wearing his sunglasses and playing his  Jazz music to gain votes with.

E-5 FROM THAT TIME 60-0302

"They'll have a beatnik president after while.

So we should be ever so thankful that God has opened our eyes  to His ways and that He is delivering us from the ways of the spirit of this wicked and adulterous generation.

I  can never understand why they called brother Branham  a  woman hater. They say he was too hard on the women.

Hells a lot hotter than that!

"Oh,  brother,  my! Yeah, she should have told  the  Truth.  The oneness  with her and her husband was gone, and the oneness  with them  and  God was gone. And every church that doesn't  take  the whole  of  God's Word, the same thing happens. I love  It,  don't you?"

Now, I would like for you to note here that he is showing you why churches have divisions and problems within them. Their  emphasis is  not on the Word. And many times even though it appears to  be on  the  Word, or so they claim it is on the Word, yet  there  ample  evidence  that shows you that it is not. They as  a  group corporate  may emphasize the Word with their mouth, yet in  their hearts it is not there.

ISAIAH  29: 13 <read> I like a  couple  other translations of this.

AMPLIFIED:  And  the Lord said, For as much as these  people  draw near  me with their mouth and honor Me with their lips, but  have removed their hearts and their minds far from Me, and their  fear and reverence for Me are a commandment of men that is learned  by repetition (without any thought of the meaning).

NIV:  The  Lord says: "These people come near to  Me  with  their mouth and honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me. Their Worship of Me is made up only of rules taught by men."

Why? Because the Union has been broken. They do not have the same purpose  and the same mindset. It is each for his own  and  every man  for himself. They do not share in the same Word nor  in  the same Life that comes forth from that Word.

The  people  do not possess faith in God and His Word.  They  say they  believe, but that is only being able to read and  having  a modicum of intelligence. Faith is not human belief. Faith is  not your ability to conceptualize. Faith is REVELATION. And EPHESIANS chapter  4 tells us that there is only ONE FAITH. And FAITH is  a revelation,  so  their  is only One revelation and  that  is  the revelation of Jesus Christ. Any other revelation you have, if  it doesn't come back to the vindicated Word for this hour, then  its in error. And you had better flee from it.

But because they want to have their own revelations, what did the bible  say would happen? It moves away from the Word into  a  man made effort. Pressing your way into the kingdom, they say.

As  it  says in the NIV translation of ISAIAH  chapter  28,  "The understanding of this Message will bring shear terror."

Why? Because all you see in the message is the law  and in  which by  it,  no  man  can be justified. And  since  you  can  not  be justified  by it you never will overcome what the law calls  for. Therefore,  you are constantly up and down in your faith. But  my bible  says  that  the  Word of God  standeth  sure  and  abideth  forever.

ISAIAH 28: 8 - 13 <NIV>

"  All the tables are covered with vomit and there is not a  spot without filth." (What is vomit? " Who is it He is trying to teach? To whom is He explaining  His message? To children weaned from their milk, to those just  taken from  the  breast?  For  it  is, (what  is?  The  Message  He  is explaining  to  them) For it is: Do and do, do and  do,  rule  on rule,  rule on rule; a little here and a little there. Very  well then,  with  foreign lips and strange tongues God will  speak  to this people, to Whom He said, "This is the resting place, let the weary rest" and this is the place of repose" - but they would not listen. So then, the Word of the Lord to them will become Do  and do,  do  and  do, rule on rule, rule on rule; a  little  here,  a little there - so that they will go and fall backward, be injured and snared and captured."

So as we can see, if you can not take God at His Word, then  what is left but a message that is based upon the abilities of men  to do or not to do. Rules and precepts taught by men. Although  they may  start  out  with a right motive or principle  in  mind,  yet eventually it must go into error and thus into bondage because it is  not God's way. God's way is for God to perform that which  He promised. Period. Any thing outside of that is mans own effort to perform God's Word.

Let's continue on with pp. 103

103 ONENESS 62-0211

Watch  her  first-born, Cain, a murderer, a  lie,  a  deceiver, jealous,   jealous   of  his  brother.  His  brother   kept   the Commandments of God, and God had made an atonement by killing  an offering  and offering it for them. Watch the ignorance  of  that now,  of  Satan, trying to substitute something. God,  the  Bible said  went  and  made them aprons out of  skins;  to  get  skins, something died. Adam tried to make hisself some aprons out of fig leaves.  It wouldn't work, botany life. Life, moving life had  to die. So He killed a lower form of life, and saying in there  that "Someday My Own Life will be give for you, the real Life  that'll draw in this union again."

"Now,  we  will get to it in a few minutes,  God  willing.  "See, here's a lamb's life. Now, you put this around you and hide  your nakedness."  "You mustn't eat apples"? Nonsense! See? "Put  these skins around you." He had to kill something

Now, in light of what He's telling you here, notice this  example he  gives. God killed another as a substitutionary sacrifice.  He is  the  same  yesterday, today, and forever. If  He  required  a substitutionary death then why do we all of a sudden feel that He no longer requires a substitute life. So we say, yes, he requires life  for  life, so I must give my life and die  to  myself.  You know, that sounds awful good, but that isn't the promise. Yes, it is  true that to be born again your old life must give way  to  a higher  life, but you can't do it. You can kill off yourself  all day  long  but  unless He comes in your death is  nothing  but  a wasted effort.

You  see,  this is where Christians as we know  them,  especially those  who profess Godliness and sanctification have  made  their biggest  error. They have turned from God's way of  a  substitute death  and  have  forced  upon the  people  a  makeshift  way  of      salvation  and sanctification which is based upon the  rules  and precepts of men. And in doing so they have annulled the blood  of Jesus Christ for many. That is why as brother Branham put it, the foolish  virgin must go into the tribulation period. Because  she did  not recognize the blood of Jesus to be sufficient enough  to atone for her sins and so God makes them give their own blood.

134-3 THE FIRST SEAL 63-0318

So  if  you speak one thing and think another, you  had  better stop  that.  Get your thoughts on God. Keep them  pure  and  stay right there with it, and speak the same thing all the time.  See. Don't  say,  "Well, I will say I will believe it; but I  will  go find out." You believe it! Amen."

"  Notice, these type--the reason they die out, they  go  through the  purging  of trial of the tribulation;  because  they're  not actually  under the Blood! They claim they are, but they're  not. How  can they go through a trial to purify them when  the  bleach Blood  of Jesus Christ takes every symptom of sin and stuff  away from  you.

"  And you are already dead, and your life is hid in Him  through God and sealed in there by the Holy Ghost, what are you going  to be judged for? Where are you going to get your purification? What do  you  have  to  be purified from when  you  are  perfectly  in Christ?--sinless!  How--What is the judgment for? But it  is  the sleeping bunch that them people can't make out."

The  problem is that most of the people are not willing  to  just let go and let God. They've got a better way than God's way. That is  why they will obey the Word outwardly but inwardly they  will fuss and complain.

As  we read from Martin Luther's work on ROMANS last  Sunday  and again on Wednesday night, He said...

"God  judges  what is at the bottom of the heart.  and  for  this reason, His law makes it's demands on the inmost heart and cannot be satisfied with works, but rather punishes works that are  done otherwise  than  from the bottom of the heart, as  hypocrisy  and lies."

"For  although you keep the law outwardly, with works, from  fear of  punishment or love of reward, nevertheless, you do  all  this without  willingness and pleasure, and without love for the  law, but  rather with unwillingness, under compulsion; and  you  would rather do otherwise, if the law were not there."

" The conclusion is that at the bottom of your heart you hate the law.  What matter, then, that you teach others not to  steal,  if you  are a thief at heart and would gladly be one  outwardly,  if you dared?"

"If the law were for the body, it could be satisfied with  works; but since it is spiritual, no one can satisfy it, unless all that you do is done from the bottom of your heart. But such a heart is given only by God's Spirit, who makes a man equal to the law,  so that  he acquires a desire for the law in his heart,  and  henceforth does nothing out of fear and compulsion, but everything out of a willing heart."

"Where  the  spirit is not in the heart, there sin  remains,  and displeasure with the law, and enmity toward it, though the law is Good and just and holy."

So  many people have it all messed up. Let's face it.  You  can't change  Gods mind, so Instead of getting upset about why He  does what  He does and demands what He does, why not ask God  to  give you a change of heart and a love for His ways. That's what Martin Luther is saying.

"How  shall a work please God, if it  proceeds from a reluctant and resisting heart?"

" To fulfill the law, however, is to do its works with pleasure and  love, and to live a godly life of one's own  accord  without the compulsion of the law.”

"This pleasure and love for the law is put into the heart by  the Holy  Ghost.  But (as we have studied so  thoroughly),  the  Holy Ghost is not given except in, with, and by faith in Jesus Christ, and faith does not come, save only through God's Word."

"Faith  alone  makes righteous and fulfills the law; for  out  of Christ's  merit, it brings the Spirit, and the Spirit  makes  the heart  glad and free, as the law requires that it shall be.  Thus works comes out of faith.”

As therefore faith alone makes righteous, and brings the  Spirit, and  produces pleasure in good, eternal works, so unbelief  alone commits sin, and brings upon the flesh, and produces pleasure  in bad external works. Hence Christ calls unbelief the only sin."

"Faith  is  not that human notion and dream that  some  hold  for faith.  The reason people can not accept Faith alone  is  because they  see  faith as something which it is not. Because  they  see that no betterment of life and no good works follow it, and  they can hear and say much about faith, they fall into error, and say, "Faith  isn't enough; one must do works in order to be  righteous and be saved,"

"This  is  the reason that when they hear the Gospel,  they  fall into  the  same old trap and make for themselves,  by  their  own powers,  an idea in their hearts, which says, "I  believe".  This they hold for true faith. But it is only a human imagination  and idea  that never reaches the depths of the heart, and so  nothing comes of it and no betterment follows it".

"Faith,  however is a divine work in us. God places it there.  It is  not our belief, It is His Revelation that He has  in  Himself and by Grace He gives it to us."

 Ephesians 2: 8 <read>

" For  by  grace are ye saved through faith;  and  that  not  of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God:   And that not of your  own, it is not your faith, it is the faith that is the gift of God. It is His Faith that He gives you.

" Martin Luther said, "Faith, however is a divine work in us.  It changes us and makes us to be born anew of God <John 1>; it kills the  old  Adam and makes altogether different men, in  heart  and spirit and mind and powers, and it brings with it the Holy Ghost.

Have  we  died out. Have we really come to a place where  we  can just  let go and let God? I hope so, because it's later than  you think. You know a dead horse don't kick back. And neither does  a lamb kick and bite. It's not in it's nature to do so.

1 PETER 1 : 22 - 23 <read>

Oh,  it is a living, busy, active, mighty thing, this faith;  and so  it is impossible for it not to do good works incessantly.  It does  not ask whether there are good works to do, but before  the question  rises; it has already done them, and is always  at  the doing of them. He who does not these works is a faithless man. He gropes  and  looks about after faith and good  works,  and  knows neither  what faith is nor what good works are, though  he  talks and talks, with many words, about faith and good works."
