ONENESS # 19

Laodicea is theEnd Time Conditon of the Heart

ISAIAH 29: 13 <read>

PRAY

Last week we left off at paragraph 103 where brother Branham  was  just  beginning  to  explain the  difference  in  the  attributes  between  Cain  and  Abel. We spent most of  the  message  however looking at what brother Branham said, when he said, Confession is to say the same thing Christ said. He said that is the Union, the True Union. And it is not just using the same Words He uses as if you are just saying with your lips, but rather, you are from  the heart confessing from the heart your desire to be in oneness with Him and thus you say what He says.

We read from our text this morning that God is against those  who only  acknowledge Him with their lips but in their hearts  He  is far from them.

What you have here is the condition that is Laodicea at this  end time  where  the  people profess Godliness  but  deny  the  power thereof  which we know is the Word of God. They are  nothing  but hypocrites and lukewarm Christians and because of this they  will be  spewed out of His mouth. For out the Mouth of the Lord  comes forth  the  Word  of the Lord. And how could  something  that  is hypocritical to the Word dwell together in the same resting place with the Word of God.

This  is the same condition that was spoken of and  predicted  by the scripture in many places.

ISAIAH 4: 1-6 <read>

We  see  here  that this scripture speaks to  us  of  the  coming Kingdom which is to come when the Lord Himself shall descend with a  shout. Notice the references here to His coming and our  being cleansed  and being made Holy by the Spirit of Judgment  and  the Spirit  of  burning.  verses  5 & 6 are very  similar  to  the scripture  that  brother  Branham  used as  the  setting  for  the    Rapture.

He took His text for the Rapture from  PSALM 27: 1-5 <read and also note PSALM 31:20 <read>

So  these are the conditions at the end time when the women’s  lib spirit  is  so  strong that it will affect  many  except  a  tiny handful that are kept from it in the safety of His Presence.

So  we  are living in a very hypocritical age  where  people  are constantly doing things out of ulterior motives and God hates it. So  He  says that He will spew them out of His  mouth.  He  can't stand to have them in His presence and thus causes them to  separate themselves. This is the main thought I see coming up in the next few paragraphs we read from this message on ONENESS.

How  can  two  walk  together lest they  be  agreed.  That's  the scripture. It can't be done. How can a marriage prosper where the woman holds her career above her husbands career. She's  supposed to  be a help meet. Not a competitor for the daily bread.  That's why  this nation has so many rotten marriages. Both  husband  and wife are going in two directions and never twain shall they meet. I've  seen marriages bust up because her career  conflicted  with his career and she got a transfer to another city but he  didn't, so they tried to stay married and live apart and it doesn't work. After a while the temptation overwhelms them and off they go.

Can  you  imagine  God  and His  Bride  going  in  two  different directions?  It  won't work. He wouldn't permit  it  and  neither should  any Son of God who is truly reflecting the attributes  of His Father. That's what ONENESS is all about. She, Christ's Bride is  saying  the  same thing Christ says. She  has  His  mind  and  she reflects His thinking. It is not He reflecting her  thoughts, but she must reflect His thoughts. She's let her own thinking  go and  she  's received His mind. That's a true picture of a  real true  harmonious  relationship.  And  if  your  marriage  is  not blending together, united by ONE purpose and with one  objective, then you haven't got a marriage. You're just living together.

That's right!

Now let's continue with Oneness and pick up at Pp. 103 <read>

Now  notice 2 things here. First of all, he says " Abel kept  the commandments of God and  secondly he says, "Cain was ignorant  of this commandment".

So  you see here that Abel did what the commandment of  God. Now I don't recall reading where God ever came down and told Abel to  do this and don't do this. But What did happen is  that  Adam and  Eve his parents had been cut off from God because  of  their sin and God made a way for them and gave them coats of skins.  An innocent lamb had died as a sacrifice to atone for their sin. The blood of the Serpent was mingled with the fresh of man  producing Cain and thus caused the fall, therefore it took blood to  atone. Life for Life.

So  Abel obeyed what? The Word of the Lord. He saw by  God's  own example  and  did what God had done. There's  your  oneness.  Now contrast that to Cain’s sacrifice. He offered up the fruit of  the ground.  That  in  itself is an outright denial of  why  sin  had entered.  He offered the same fig leaf religion that Adam and  Eve had done before Him. Now why did he do this? That's the question.

If  you  can  tell me why he did this, I will tell  you  why  the people continue to offer back to God the wrong thing.

Notice brother Branham said, "Watch the ignorance of that now, of how Satan tried to substitute something else."

PP. 104 - 105 <read>

There  you are, One knew and the other didn't. One had a  revelation and the other didn't.

HEBREWS 11: 4 <read>

Now, remember, what is righteousness? Isn't it  right-wise-ness? So  he had a correct understanding and revelation. But  notice  it doesn't  say Cain had a wrong revelation. It says Abel’s was  more excellent. and in order to be more excellent the other had to  be excellent. Cain' offering in order to be an excellent one had  to be  scriptural.  Because  how could a God who is  the  Word  call anything  contrary to His Word excellent. But although it  was  a scriptural  sacrifice, it had nothing to do with  atonement.  The resurrection can not happen without  a death.

And that is the problem we have today is that we are not  willing to  die  to our own thinking. How can we receive His mind  if  we haven't  died  to  ur own. All we would have is a  mind  that  is filled  with both His thoughts and our own, a tree of  both  good and evil so to speak. But His Word will never mix with our  word. We  must  cast out the bondswoman, our legalistic ways,  for  the seed is not heir with the shuck.

Now,  although  you  may  have  thoughts  that  you  believe   are scriptural, yet if they are not reflecting from a vindicated Word for this hour, I don't care how scriptural they might sound, they are  actually  wicked. The Amish use the  scripture  to  produce their   legalism's  as  do  the  Pentecostals  and  every   other denomination.   And what does the scriptural thoughts  through  a wrong filter produce? Wickedness.

1 JOHN 3: 11- 13 <read>

Now  notice it says he killed his brother because his deeds  were evil.  It  did not say the killing of his brother  was  the  evil deed.  A man is not a thief because he steals. He steals  because he is a thief.

His  deeds were evil before he killed his brother. And  the  only deed recorded by scripture before the killing took place was  his sacrifice. So there you are.
