Separation is Sanctification

135 ONENESS    62-0211   Oh, how we could go on down and see God separating them.  We're going to have to stop just a minute. I got some Scriptures here I want to just bypass it, to get, hurry up to get to the end.  Then when... what happened when He taken place there, when the Moabite  women? God had to separate them again,...

As we have seen from this paragraph in the last two messages,  we see  now  that it was God who does the separation. You  know,  we sometimes think that we will do our separating in such a  perfect and  wonderful  way  that we will just go out with  love  in  our hearts  and we so we begin the arduous journey into the Truth  and for some reason beyond our control it seems to never work out the way we planned.

I  thought  that I could share this message with  my  friends  in college  and surely they would have to receive it  because  after all I did. And if I could see it I thought for sure I could  show  them  the  same things that was revealed to me and  bingo,  their eyes would become open.

But I found out the hard way that God doesn't work that way. When His Word says, "whosoever comes", it doesn't mean "whosoever"  as if it's for anyone and every one. Because it isn't for every one.  So  I got loosed from the very group that I had  co-founded.  The Fellowship of Christian Athletes at the University of  Minnesota.

They  turned me out and asked me not to come back and  that  next group  of  leaders  turned  me over  to  the  devil  for  heresy.  Fortunately, I found out they were actually worshiping Satan  and didn't know it, so they were calling God satan and satan god.

Therefore when they called on their god they were actually  calling  on  satan, to loose me. I glad he did. Then they  turned  me over to what they thought was the devil, but it was actually God.

Sounds crazy, and it was but that's what happened.  So they  were actually  praying to the devil and turning me over to  God.   How wonderful.

So  I found out the hard way that you can't share the Truth  with make-believers. They won't believe it and as the scripture  says, "we  are  not to cast our pearls before swine because  they  will turn  and render you."  And those SWINE sure did. I guess  it  is all right to call them pigs if God does.

Anyway, I might have found out the hard way but that didn't  mean that  I  learned 100% of the incident. A few years later  I  came into  the knowledge of the real meaning of the Message  for  this hour,   "Christ's  Presence" and the last message I  preached  in that  church in Minneapolis was called "In His Presence". Soon  after  I was loosed their. That was OK because I had already left, but  it is  hard when you have to keep making new friends all  the  time.

Fortunately,  I have met some real friends this time. Now I  know that  I'm not the only one whose had to go through this.  Jim,  I know  you  and  Linda went through  very  similar  circumstances. Craig, you, Ron and now Marion are repeating the cycle. But  rest assured,  Jesus  said,  "He  that  lives  Godly   shall   suffer persecution." So don't fret. It's part of your growing pains.

Now  we see here this morning that brother Branham is letting  us know  that God is the one who separates us. That's why we  failed when we tried so hard to walk at peace with those who opposed the Truth.  God was separating us, and we knew it yet we  thought  it should be done a little different. I guess we got educated in the school of the fiery trial.

So we see here that this separation that God brings us through is actually   a   cleansing   process  of   which   we   will   call sanctification….
