Light makes manifest

Last Sunday we examined PP. 143 of ONENESS
where brother Branham said the following:
143 ONENESS 62-0211 "The expressed image
come, Jesus, the immaculate One, the lovely One, the fairest of ten thousands, the
Lily of the Valley, the Rose of Sharon, oh, the Morning Star. What was
He? What did He come for? Listen close now.
To re-establish oneness between God and
man. Oh, do you see it, brother?"
We examined these 2
questions that he asked. #1: What was He? and # 2: What
did He come for? but we actually focused much of
our thought upon the first question.
I
would
like to again, today continue looking into this first question,
"What is He."
Actually brother Branham
asked the question "What was He?" But I do not believe
His intentions were to only look at what He was 2000 years ago
because his ministry was " to declare Him, that He is here".
So with this
understanding in mind we must examine this question
he asks, knowing that "Alpha is Omega". What He was back then is what He is today, for both Hebrews 13:8
and Malachi 3:6 tell us that "He changes not" and that
"He is the same yesterday, today
and forever."
JOHN 1:1 <read> Then if He is the Word, what are the characteristics of His
Word?
JOHN 6: 63 <read> And then what about this Life. He always said,
if you had the life of Beethoven you'd
compose music, and if you had the life of Dillon you'd rob banks. So what
are the characteristics of His Life.
1 JOHN 1: 4 <read> The Life was the light of man. Now this word light here is the Greek word PHOS
which means to shine or make
manifest. Illumination or literally fire or
light.
So
we
see that this Life is that which illuminates man,
and brings man into manifestation what he is by his true nature.
2 TIM 1:7-10 <read> Life and immortality are brought to
light or manifestation through the Gospel which is the Word
of God.
1 JOHN 3: 1 <read>Now you don't call someone a son who is not a son, right? So
here we see a case where the real
true nature is not openly made manifest until it comes into
His Divine Presence.
1 JOHN 3: 2 <read>You can see
that it takes seeing Him to become what you actually
were meant to be.
A MAN THAT CAN TURN ON THE LIGHT pp.
75 "Light brings life. Plant the wheat out here, it'll ...you put it in a
basement, cover it all over, and it'll never bring forth anything,
because it can't; there's no light there. But as
soon as light strikes it, then it'll bring forth life if it'
a germatized seed. That's the same thing,
it is in the Word. See, the Word is
God, and when the Light strikes it, it brings the Word to Life
again".
A MAN THAT CAN TURN ON THE LIGHT pp. 95 "There's nothing can give you Life but the
spoken Word of God." pp. 96 "Life can only come by
light."
In fact, it is at the
Appearing that we come to manifest our true nature.
We
might
ask ourselves "What is Life?" Is it merely the
ability to eat and breath. I don't think so. It is the essential quality of our being. That is what
distinguishes one Life from another. The very
nature of it's being. It's characteristics, it's innate
attributes. The Essence of being. Life is an innate substance that moves and breathes and
lives.
But
we can not perceive Life without perceiving it's nature. So we see then
that Nature is a defining of the Life.
Websters says, "Nature is the essential character of a thing;
the quality or qualities that make up a thing; it's
very essence.” It is the inborn
character, the innate disposition or inherent tendencies of a
person. The inner force within that molds and
shapes the being.
Now
that
sounds pretty good. Because that describes
the very nature of God in a believer.
1 JOHN 1: 1-7 Now there are a few principles I want you to see here.
#1) This Life is invisible yet it became manifested
that we might behold it.
#2) Because it was manifested,
it could also be declared. The
word declared means to lead forth into view.
So what was manifested in the flesh and again by a Pillar of
Fire and seen visibly among them, has also somehow
a capacity to become visible or openly lead forth into
view via a declaration
which
is by Word.
#3) The receiving of this
declaration then brings you into the very Presence and thus into view of This Life that was
manifested, thus bringing you into fellowship with It.
2 PETER 1: 1-4 When we speak of this Life we are
speaking about the very nature of the
Life Giver Himself. And notice how this
nature comes. Through the Word of Promise being
received. Not just Zoe which is biological
Life. Every living organism whether a saint or a haint
has that. But what
we are looking at is Life. His Life,
His Spirit, His Nature.
INDICTMENT pg. 9 "And today, by the Light of the Gospel
reflecting from a Light, a Pillar of Fire visibly among us."
Today,
by the Grace of God I would like to focus our
thoughts upon this Nature that comes forth From His very Life.
39 DOORS.IN DOOR 65-0206 "So
this Light here, of course, we associate It with
God, because It has the same nature and everything that He did when
He was here on earth."
There's
something
about this Light that is in our midst that is bringing forth sons and daughters into
His very nature.

MARRIAGE AND DIVORCE 65-0221.1M "And
then you'll always know anything by the nature of
it. Anything is known by its nature, the
fruit it bears. And I ask you to watch the kind of
fruit It bears, this Light, which is God, because It always goes back to the Word of God
and proves
the Word of God, preaches the Word of God, and God proves
that Word materially so before you."
Now, we must be able to
separate a mental faith from a heart felt one because that is where many will
say in that day, "Lord, Lord, did we not do this and that in your name? and He will say depart from me for I never knew you."
So
we
are not specifically dealing with just a belief in the
Word.
We must go
beyond just head knowledge or a
mental recognition
of His Word for this hour. It must be by
revelation which is not mental but proceeds from the heart.
E-37 THE INNER VEIL 56-0121 "Notice. There
is an intellectual faith. And there's a
faith that comes from the heart. The old unbeliever said years ago, when the Bible said,
"As a man thinketh
in his heart...
Said, "That's crazy. There's no mental facilities
in the heart." Said, "You think
with your mind. There's no mental facilities in
the heart." But last year, they found that's wrong. God was
right. Right down in the heart, in the
center of the heart, there's a little
compartment where there's not even a blood cell in it. It's not in the animal heart, only in the human heart.
And they say, it's the occupation, or the
occupant of the soul. The
soul lives in the heart.
Then, after all, God was right, when He said, "As a man thinketh in his
heart."

1M Like science, they find the mechanics
and the laws of nature, but they don't know what that nature is. They
don't know the Life of nature. That's God. So, the mechanics without the dynamics is no good.
Now it is interesting
that the Pentecostal's will claim Him to be Spirit, and they will even claim to
have His Spirit in them, but they will deny the
very Words He speaks.
202 IDENTIFIED CHRIST ALL AGES 64-0617 "The Presence of Jesus Christ,
which ought to illuminate the church, to know
that in this last days where creeds
and denominations and isms and everything has got the--the Word
all smothered out, and Jesus the Word on the outside of the
church, and to see Him come right back among the people
and identify Himself as He promised, "in the last days when
the Son of man is being
revealed." He was revealed in the
baptism; He was revealed in Divine healing; here
He is in His last attribute. Remember, that
was the last thing that Abraham saw before the fire
fell and judged the Gentile world, and before the promised son
came on the scene, Isaac. This is the last thing
that the Christian church will see, in the sign
of miracle, until the appearing
of Jesus Christ. If God has give me favor before you, believe me in
the Name of the Lord, there is nothing else left in the Bible to be done
but take on the mark of the beast; and you have the Seal of God."
So
you
will notice he said the last attribute shown to Abraham was
the Judge showing forth discernment. And Abraham called
Him the Judge and said, "Shall not the Judge of
all the earth do right?"
JOHN
And yet We know His Words are Spirit and they are Life. The very One that the church world claims to be
serving is the One they have put out. They even claim Him as
their advocate, yet He has become their
prosecution lawyer.
They claim
Him as their advocate, their paracletos,
the One called along side to help, but in reality, He
is here as the Judge Who shall bring then to Judgment for
rejecting His Word.
Now, let's just turn to Romans
chapter 8 for a moment.
ROMANS
So
you
can not disassociate His Word from His Life. The
measure of the Word is the measure of the Spirit.
1 PETER
335 TRYING TO DO GOD A SERVICE 65-1127 1M " church,
here and across the nation, listen to your humble servant
this morning. Will you? Look where you were at a
few years ago when this first started; now look what
impersonations has capitalized on It, and great millions and billions of
dollars has flown into the
organizations. See? Still away from the Word of
God. Buildings and organizations is not the way God stirs
His Spirit. He stirs It right into His Word, to make It live. And if you were ordained from the beginning of
the earth to that Word, every Word
will come right on top of the Word. Like a human
cell will not have one human cell, and the next the cell of a dog,
and the next the cell of a cat; it'll be human cells. But it's got to have a cell first to start with. Is that right? say,
"Amen." [Congregation says, "Amen."--Ed.]
Well, if it is the Word cell to start with, the
other Word cells are ordained to make it a full body."
91 THE RAPTURE 65-1204 "When a germ comes into the womb of
a--of the female, it don't take on... You--you didn't become a human germ
from your father, and then the next thing you become a germ
from a dog, and the next thing from a cat, and the next thing from
a chicken; it was all human germ. And the Body of Jesus Christ, the
Bride, will be part of His Body
which will... He was the Word, and the
Bride will have to be the Word, Word added to Word
added to Word. Luther's Justification, Wesley's
Sanctification, Pentecostal's Baptism with the Holy Spirit,
restoration of the gifts, and all the rest of it goes with it. It's got
to be Word on top of Word, germ on top of
germ, life on top of life, to bring out the full statue of the Bride of
the Lord Jesus Christ."

sun; death, burial, and resurrection.
So
if
1 PETER says we are born of the Word, then the Spirit we receive is
the Word right?
If He is the Word, then
His Life is the Word, right? The as a man thinketh in
his heart so is he. What he thinks are thoughts.
"So
as a man thinketh in his heart, so
is he" and "out of the abundance of the heart the mouth
speaketh."
So what are you then but
Word made flesh. Flesh of His flesh and bone of
His bone.
So when Pentecostals say
they have the Spirit and deny the Word, what
Spirit do they have. Not His Spirit. Then
What is your paraclete. The Word.
ROMANS 8:
26-27
<read>Notice that this Spirit searcheth
the hearts. What searches the hearts?
HEBREWS 4: 12 <read>The Word discerns the heart. So then the Word is the Paraclete. Then the Word is our advocate? right?
Then what if they reject the Word.
How can you reject the Word and have the Spirit?
How can you reject the
messenger and have the Message? "Brother Branham taught
us, "The Message and the Messenger are One."
Then what kind of a paraclete do they have. I don't
think it's a paraclete
that they have. I think it's a paraclete.
A dirty bird. Because Revelations said, their place of
dwelling is the hold of every unclean and
hateful bird. Hateful birds. Not Eagles.
Hebrews said the Word
discerns the hearts of men. But these have no
place in their heart for Him.
JOHN 8: 37, 43,47
Now if you reject the Word you reject the only advocate that you are
given. And the only way that you can reject the Word is
that there is no place in you for it.
88 FELLOWSHIP BY REDEMPTION 55-0403 "You know, and they said there,
"God made a mistake, when He said `A man thinketh with his heart.' There is no such a thing. And no
mental facilities in a man's heart, that he can think
with. It's his mind that he thinks with." But no more than
about two months ago, they found out God was right. They went to fooling
in the human heart, and they found a little bitty compartment in there that
hasn't even got a blood cell around it, or nothing. It
isn't in the animal heart, or the bird heart, or
no other heart but the human heart. A little bitty place, and it's
called, "The occupation of the soul." So God does say right. It's in the heart man thinketh."
That's why He had to
give us another heart. To Receive His Spirit with.

Now the problem is that
they have no place for Him, and His Word. And unless they receive His Word they
can not receive His Spirit. And without
His Spirit they have not His Life. Therefore
what life do they receive? The same one Eve received. Then who's
children are they?
MATT
58 REVELATION BOOK OF SYMBOLS 56-0617 Your pastor, when he stands here on the
platform, ministering the Word of God, he is God's angel to the church,
messenger to the church. Therefore a pastor should never leave that
Word, but stay straight with the Word
We said earlier, in
quoting brother Branham, that the man and His message
are one. Right? Then if His Message
are one with the Messenger Christ,
His Spirit must be the same. And If His Spirit
is one then His nature is one.
114 CHRIST REVEALED IN HS OWN WORD 65-0822 1M There's
many tried to impersonate them prophets, like priests or so
forth. And what do they do? Just messed up, that's
all. They couldn't do it, 'cause God had selected the man for the age,
and selected the Message, and even the nature of the man and what would
go over in that age--what He could put
over, how He could... With the nature of that certain man, He
could blind the eyes of others. The words
that man would say, the way he acted, would
blind others and open other's eyes. See? He dressed the man in the type
of dress that he was, the nature, the ambition, and everything,
just the way he had to be, just perfectly selected for
that certain people that He'd call for that certain
age. While others would stand,
and look at him, and say, "Well I can't... There's...
I--I can't..." You see, they were blinded.
That
is
why last week I tried to tell you never to make rash
assumptions. He foreordains everything about them to route
some out and to attract others.
E-49 BLIND BARTIMAEUS 56-0414 And God set in the Church first, what? ..."
Apostles, prophets, teachers, evangelist, pastors,
God set in the Church for the perfecting of the Church.
That's Divine gifts that God foreordained and set into the Church. See? Those are
for the perfecting of the Church. Jesus speaks
through His pastor, speaks through His
teacher, speaks through His seer, His prophet, speaks through His
missionary to the countries, and so forth. That's His
gifts that's He's put in the Church.
Now if your not of God something will have to take you out.
What took the Pentecostals out. They
turned down the messenger, and His
Message right? Meanwhile they claim to serve Him and do
His works. But Jesus told us what the Works of God were.
JOHN
160 GOD OF
THIS EVIL AGE 65-0801.1M Now, the little--humble little Bride of
Christ just simply believes the Word, whoever She is;
it's individuals. I hope and trust that there's
many setting present, many listening in. And I hope that myself
and every one of you all are part of that Bride. I hope many and... It will,
all that's been ordained to that will be that, 'cause it's their nature.
They... See, the Word can only recognize the
Word. It can't recognize a
denomination or a perversion. It knows better; It's a Word. See? It can't recognize nothing...
A wheat can't be nothing but a wheat. It started a wheat, it'll head up a wheat.
And a weed can never be a wheat, yet
it's watered by the same anointing. See? But
it ain't a wheat, as I said
the other day about the tree with the different branches in it.
But Paul warned the
early church that they were drifting from the original Word, the original
Spirit, the original Life.
GAL 1: 6 <read>ANOTHER:
HETEROS of another nature, or of
another sort. Now notice what he says next.
GAL 1:7 <read>ANOTHER:
ALLOS= Allos expresses a numerical difference or
another of the same sort
whereas heteros expresses a
qualitativedifference or a difference in
nature. A different sort.
Christ
had
promised to send another Comforter, Allos = the
same Spirit in another form but not a different one,
whereas Paul let's us know that what these men preach is heteros or completely different in it's nature. Then He
tells us how it is different.
GAL 1:7 <read>Not a
different one altogether, but one that has been
hybridized and perverted. METASTREPHO = to transform in something of an opposite character. To transmute it. Transmute is a transmutationfrom one form
or condition or nature into another.
That
is
why Paul said in 2 COR 11 that they
received another, heteros, of another
nature a Jesus who was of a different nature, a Gospel and Spirit of a
different nature.

<read> Notice, just as Eve was seduced. So they would seduce
your minds. How was Eve seduced, by a wrong
word. And what did it do. It brought
forth a hybrid life. Then if a hybrid life won't it
have a hybrid nature? Religious yet loving the
world?

87 THIRST 65-0919
He perverts the true nature of God, and the true thirst for God, of the body
and soul, by lust for sin. Sin, a perversion!
HEBREWS 7 tells us that we are to receive a kingdom and
priesthood that fadeth not
away and that it is fashioned not after the law of a carnal
commandment, but after the power of an endless life. And what is that? Eternal Life.
God's own Life. And how does it come
forth. By the washing of water by the Word.
