ONENESS 35

Perfection only through the Blood

1 PETER 1:3-9 <read>   PRAYER

Soul: PSUCHE  heart,  mind,  life    Salvation  :  deliverance  or rescue. A deliverance from what?

EPH 4: 7-13 <read> Now, what I would like to do this morning is to be faithful to my  calling in which I am called to reflect only His Word, and so  by doing  it may truly edify the body of Christ. Now there are  many who  think they are edifying the body of Christ by  telling  them things about themselves that are nothing but lies. And if I would try to edify you by saying things just to make you  feel  good, then I would be found a false witness.

So  then let me start by saying this truth. For those of you  who may  be  looking  for some great Revival to  come  to  bring  you perfection,   "There   is  no  perfection  this   side   of   the resurrection," at least pertaining to this body. And if I were to do like some and tell you any different, I would be found to be a liar and unfaithful to the blood of Jesus Christ.

So  with that uplifting statement, let's examine  the  scriptures this morning before we turn to the next paragraph in ONENESS.

ROMANS 7: 1-25 <read> Remember in 1 PETER 1: 9 The great deliverance we are promised at
the  time of His Parousia and ( Revelation of Jesus  Christ)?  It is that we are to be set free from the body of this death.

ONENESS pp. 152 Notice what he says here. " The only way man could be back in his original state again, is for the penalty of sin to be paid."  And the penalty of sin is what? Death. ...Is that what he said.?

By breaking the Word, by adding to His Word, it broke the fellowship we had in Him, the oneness we had in Him.

1  JOHN 1: 7 " If we walk in the light as He is in the Light,  we have  fellowship..." But the fellowship, the Oneness  was  broken because man stepped out from the light. And the penalty for  that was death. And then he said nobody was worthy to pay it.  Because everyone fell with the human being.

ROMANS 3: 10 <read> MARTIN LUTHER " The corruption of which the apostle speaks here is so very deep  that  it is not fully understood even as such as  are  spiritual. For  this reason the truly righteous pray fervently  and  entreat God  for divine grace, not only because they know that their  will  is  evil,  but also because they can never fully  comprehend  the unspeakable  depth of their depravity. So the  humble  themselves and earnestly ask God to sanctify them perfectly, Which, however, takes place only in death."

Now  you may say, "No! I don't believe that. I believe  that  the  Bride  will  be perfect before she goes in a Rapture.  I  believe that  the Bride will overcome so much that she will  be  entirely without spot or wrinkle."

You  know, that's the attitude of a lot of frustrated  people  in this  Message.  They  believe that because they  do  not  rightly divide  the  scripture. So they look to themselves to  have  some sort of a grand revival that will catapult them into perfection.

So  they  say,  well who was Martin Luther anyway.  He  wasn't  a prophet.  Brother  Branham had to come to set  it  straight.  But listen to what brother Branham said.

WHO IS THIS MELCHISEDEC  65-0221  "The stages of the eternal purpose He had in His secret has now  been  revealed.  Notice,  there is  still  three  stages  to perfection.  Just like He redeems the world; same way He  redeems His  Church.  He redeems the people in three  stages.  Now  look, first   is   Justification   like   Luther   preached; second, Sanctification  like Wesley preached; third, Baptism of the  Holy Ghost. That's right! Then comes the rapture."

So  if there are three stages to perfection, and one of  them  is justification "Like Luther Preached" Then Luther had it right.  I can't help what people have done to the truth. 99% of the  people in  this  Message do not understand  "JUSTIFICATION  LIKE  LUTHER PREACHED."

So let's continue.

ROMANS 3:11 <read>

JAMES 3:2 <read>

1 JOHN 1: 8-10 <read> People  who  claim  to believe this Message  are  still  striving within  themselves  to come to some sort of  perfection  in  this flesh. And when you do that you are only deceiving yourself. Now, I'm  not  saying that we shouldn't make an effort to  keep  God's Word.  But  to think that you will somehow break through  one  of these  days  and  all of a sudden come into  perfection  in  this flesh,  shows  only two things.

Number one, You don't  know  your bible, and

Number 2, you don't know the author very well either.

MARTIN  LUTHER: "How does a person know or how can he know,  even though  he should imagine that he does good and avoids evil,  how does he really know if it is so, since God alone knows the  heart and is the Judge of all the earth. It is in fact a most dangerous arrogance  for  men to imagine that they have such a  will  (That does good an omits evil). Man by nature seeks only to do what  is to his advantage, he can love only himself above all things,  and that  is  the sum and substance of al transgression.  Such  self sufficient  persons  seek only to please  themselves  and  secure applause, even when they follow piety and virtue."

ROMANS 3:11 <read> MARTIN LUTHER "The Wisdom of God is hidden and therefore it is not known to the  world. So Christ can be known only through divine revelation."

1 COR 2: 7-8 <read> Now this is true. In referring to ROMANS 3: 11 <read>, it  speaks of   both: those that do not at all care for God and  also  those who  seek  after Him, or rather who imagine  themselves  to  seek after God. They do not seek after God as He desires to be  sought and  found,  namely, not by human wisdom and  searching,  but  by Faith and in humility. The Apostle Paul first says that their  is none  that  understandeth, and then he says, there is  none  that seeketh after God. For the understanding goes before the  willing and doing. Otherwise you do not know what you are seeking after.

The  true  seeking after God which moves you  to  dedication  and obedience, follows upon having the right understanding of God. If you have understanding without the seeking after God, it is dead, just  as  Faith without works is dead and  neither  quickens  nor justifies and therefore comes to nothing.

" Now, Faith is the substance of thing hoped for the evidence  of things not seen."

It  is the spiritual apprehension of things which we cannot  see. It  is an understanding that man can not know by himself,  It  is God breathed and God given.

Jesus told us no man can come unto the Father but by Him. And  He told Peter, that flesh and blood had not revealed it to him,  but it was revealed by the Father.

1 COR 2: 9-13 <read>

MARTIN LUTHER"  The inward desire or seeking after God is true love  for  God, which  moves believers to long for and love  that which  is  this spiritual  understanding  makes known to them. In  this  life  we never reach such perfection that we fully posses God, but we must continually seek after Him; indeed, we must "seek Him evermore."

As David wrote in PSALM 105:4 "Seek ye the Lord,...seek His  face evermore."

" Those who do not make progress in seeking after God, are  bound  to  retrogress;  indeed, those who do not seek,  will  lose  that which  they have already obtained. We must never stand  still  in seeking after God."

Brother  Branham never did identify perfection as a condition  of this  flesh.  So why are the people in this Message  so  obsessed with  a perfection in this body? I believe it is the same  spirit upon them that was on the early church that had it's rank swollen by  the sect of the pharisees. legalist's. Looking to  their  own merit instead of the merits of Salvation by Grace.

FEAST OF THE TRUMPETS 64-0719 "You  say  the Church has to go through the  persecution for the perfection of it. The Blood of Jesus Christ perfects the  Bride. A man who chooses a wife don't put her through a  lot of punishment; he's already found grace to--with her; she's found grace  with him. He engages to her. And if there's  anything, he will keep her from every place to turn her hand. His grace  is so  great upon them, and so will it be upon the Bride, and so  is it on the Bride."

IDENTIFICATION 63-0123  "That don't mean perfection in yourself. You can't be that."

In fact br. Branham placed our perfection in the resurrection.

145 THE.MASTERPIECE  64-0705 " The Life is coming up to go to its perfection, a resurrection."

30 PERFECTION    57-0419  " If there is anything that I can do to make myself perfect  in the  Presence of God, then Christ did not have to die for me.  If there is one thing that you can do, that would merit anything  in the Presence of God, then Christ died in vain. No law-keeping, no legalistic  ideas of yours, none of your own holiness, no  things that you could quit doing, quit lying, quit stealing, quit  smoking tobacco, quit going to the picture shows, still you are lost. Nothing  can do it! Joining churches, rituals,  ceremonies,  baptisms,  orders of the church, reading of creeds, saying of  prayers, all those things would count nothing. You are lost! Not  one thing can you do in yourself, for you are a sinner under  condemnation. And there is not no way within yourself, or any creed, or anything  that you could do or think of, of yourself, that  could merit one thing in the Presence of God, because you are a  sinner to start with."

62 THINGS THAT ARE TO BE 65-1205 "  He's gone to prepare a place, a perfect place, where  no  evil exist,  no sickness exists, no old age exists, no  death  exists. It's a perfect place calling you to that perfection, and you have to be perfect to get there. The Bible said so. Jesus said, "Be ye therefore perfect even as your Father in Heaven is perfect."  And it's  a  perfect Kingdom, so it must be a  perfect  people  come; because you have to stand and be married to a perfect Son of God; and  you  must be a perfect Bride. So how can you do  it  through anything else but the perfect Word of God, which is the waters of separation that washes us from our sins. Amen! That's right.  The Blood  of Jesus Christ. Think of it! The dripping,  bloody  Word! Amen! The Blood, the--the Word of God bleeding blood to wash  the Bride   in!   Amen!  Yes,  sir!  She  stands   perfect,   virgin unadulterated; She never sinned in the first place. Amen! She was trapped  into it. See? There's the Father's House that He's  gone to prepare."

224-1 THYATIREAN CHURCH AGE CHURCH AGE BOOK CPT 6"I know your faith." Now he does not say here as He did to  the church in Pergamos, "you hold MY faith". He is not talking  about His faith now, but He is commending them for their  faithfulness. And  as He does He also mentions their 'patience.' Now  faithfulness and patience go together. In fact patience is the outcome of faithfulness, for it says in James 1:3, "The trying of your faith worketh  patience." There is absolutely no other way in which  to gain  patience. It has to come by the trial of our faith.  Romans 5:3, "Tribulation worketh patience." How highly God regards  this outworking  of  our patience is seen in James 1:4, "But  let  patience  have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and  entire lacking  nothing."  God's  will for us is  Perfection.  And  that perfection is patience-- waiting on God and waiting for God. This is  the  process  of character development. How  highly  God  has commended these saints of the Dark Ages. Patient as lambs led  to the slaughter, lovingly, faithfully they served God. That is  all they  wanted out of life, just service to their Lord.  How  great was to be their reward.

E-86 IDENTIFICATION  63-0123  "Then when we let his character be in us, then we have  become sons by having the mind of Christ--mind, which is his  character. " Your mind makes your character. "Let the mind," Paul said,  "of Christ, this mind that was in Christ be in you." Let that mind of Christ be in you. It molds the character of a son of God."

156 PERFECT FAITH 63-0825.2E " There's nothing left for us to do but believe It, and "believe
it"  is  the substance, and that creates a  Perfect  Faith.  Just think  how--how  numb we are; just think of that just  a  minute, now. Now, let's see:  Has He done all things well? Has He ever told us anything,  but what  happened  just  exactly  the way  He  said  it?  Hasn't  He performed, and hasn't the great Pillar of Fire been among us  and done  just  exactly like He promised to do? Haven't we  seen  It? Hasn't  science  taken It, after it's been predicted  what  would happened;  go  right  there and have it even in  the  papers  and magazines,  pack  it right back and show it, when it's  told  you months before it happened? Hasn't He done just exactly the way He did  in the Old Testament, and the New Testament? And  It's  just exactly  the  same  One! The same Holy Spirit  comes,  and  is  a discerner; and the Word of God, which is quicker and sharper than
a two-edged sword, a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.  Isn't that right? Isn't that the same God? And that  same One,  it's  not a stranger off somewhere else,  He's  here.  He's here,  does  this to create a Perfect Faith. I feel Him.  I  know He's  here  now. I know that His Spirit is here. I know  that  He knows all things. Amen! And I know He wants to--to do  something. He's been doing something, to--to create this perfection of faith in the people.

9-1 SOULS IN PRISON NOW  63-1110.1M  So,  therefore He has partner-shipped you, see, and taken  this man,  earthly, and This Eternal Spirit and put it  together.  Because, God reflected Himself back in that He become a man when He become Christ Jesus, and He Was God. God was in Christ. Lived  in Him,  reconciled the world to Himself, and [1]through  that  perfect man,  each one of us imperfect that believe in God  and  accepted that, becomes a perfection in Him[1].

62 THE MASTERPIECE  64-0705  And now, Abraham was the foundation of faith. Let's say it  had four  foundations.  The  foundation of  faith  was  Abraham.  The  foundation  of love was Isaac. The foundation of grace was  Jacob (God's  grace  to Jacob. Anyone knows that). But  in  Joseph  was perfection.  There's where He could set the monument,  upon,  not the   first   foundation,  the  second  foundation,   the   third Foundation, but on the fourth foundation.

136 THE MASTERPIECE  64-0705 Notice  here. The life that was in the husk, in the stalk,  and
in the tassel, in the husk, all gathers in the seed. And the life that  was  in  the  stalk, went--one  went  to  make  the  other. (1) Justification made a way for Sanctification. (2)  Sanctification  made a way for the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. (3) The  Baptism  of the Holy Ghost made a way for the Holy Ghost  Itself  to come right down in perfection, back to the Word again to manifest
Itself.

ONENESS 147, 149, 150 <read>

No  man's  spirit could do it. But only God's  Spirit,  His  Life could bring us into Oneness again.

In  PP.  152  he said that our relationship  and  fellowship  and everything  was  broken until the debt for sin was paid.  We  see then,  the importance of Calvary. It paid the price and laid  the groundwork for His Word to come in this hour.
