Evidence of a God ordained Ministry

168 ONENESS -- JEFF.IN -- V-10 N-2 -- 62-0211

"You say, "Well, Brother Branham, I spoke in tongues. I  shouted. I did this." If you still got that kind of a spirit and deny  the Word of God, you haven't got the Word of God in you, you  haven't got The Spirit. If you'll sit and hear the Truth preached[1], and look It up in the Bible[1] and [1]see It's the Truth[1], and then refuse to do it, that's not the Spirit of God. I don't care how much you(1) spoke in tongues, how much you(2) shouted,  How  much (3)churches you belonged to, or how (4) many times you was baptized, or(5)anything else. The Word is Truth. That's what vindicates the truth. If you got all these other truths and then with the Word, amen, then you know you're coming home."

Now,  I  would like to again look at this paragraph  tonight  and
bring  a  short little pastoral message from this.  He  said,  "I
don't care how many of these so called evidences you have, if you
have all these things going for you and you deny one part of this
Word, you haven't got the Word in you, and therefore you  haven't
got His Spirit in you.

Now let's just go to the scripture to see this once again.

JOHN 6: 63 <read>

Now, he is not just saying His Words are spirit as if to say they
are spiritual. He is saying they are Spirit, period.

JOHN 1: 1, 4-5 <read>

Here we see that His Words are life, His Life. Now the  Scripture
tells  us "As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he." So  What  a
man thinks, is what he really is. If your thoughts are adulterous
then it shows you are an adulterer. If your thoughts are continu
ously  evil toward your brother or sister, then you have an  evil
heart.  It's  just that simple. It shows you have not  been  born
again.

LUKE 6:45 <read>

You can't hide what is in your heart. It will give you away  just
as sure as this Word of God says it will. And even more since  we
know that this is manifesting time.

HEBREWS 4: 12 <read>

The Word of God is a discerner of the thoughts and the intentions
of  the heart. It will pass judgment upon your own  thoughts  and
intentions.  How many people constantly thinking evil of the  one
God  sent  to lead them and they don't think  anyone  knows.  God
knows. He knows even if you never say it. And if the thoughts are
in there, you will say it because every thing that is hidden will
be revealed. It has to when the light exposes it. There is  nothing  that  can  hide.  Everything will  become  manifest  in  His
presence. And we are living in the days of His presence. And  How
is  He  here? As the Judge. As the Word which is the  Judge.  And
there is no escaping the all seeing eye of God.

HEBREWS 4: 13 <read>

It is the light of His Word that brings into manifestation.  Just
as the light of the sun brings up every crop into the full  mani
festation of the seed that went into the ground, so too the Light
of His Glorious Presence brings up the wheat and the tares.

EPHESIANS 5: 6-17 <read>

MARK 4: 22 <read>

There is nothing that will not be manifested. N.o.t.h.i.n.g. Then
in the next few verses he let's you in on how you can give  your
self  the  Word  test. Hold your finger here and  let's  turn  to

1 JOHN 4:1 <read>

Now, what is the test we are to give them. Or for that matter, to
give  ourselves. Because after all, I'm not  concerned   as  much
about  the next guy as I am about myself. How can I check out  my

own condition? Keep reading. Every body in every church wants  to
take the next few verses and apply it to whether you believe that
Jesus Christ is the Son of God and whether you believe He came in
the flesh. But let me tell you, the Devil believes He did and  He

isn't of God. So let's examine this further.

In  order  to do so we have to back up. Did you  know  that  this
Bible was not written in verses and chapters. That was done by  a
monk  hundreds of years ago. until then each letter and  book  of

the  Bible  was written as a letter. Now, how many of  you  write
letters  and  put verse and chapter to them.  Neither  did  Paul,
Peter, John of the writer's of the Gospels. Anyway, let's back up
to the last verse before chapter 4.

1 JOHN 3: 24 <read>

How do we know? By the spirit which He gave that abodes in us.

Now, this does not make every man an island to himself, nor  does
it give you a right to say we need no one to teach us. It merrily

let's  you  know that if the Spirit that abides in you  wants  to
keep His Word, then that is the same Spirit as the author of This
Word.

1 JOHN 4:5 <read>

Now  the  thing about it is the scripture teaches us as  we  read
earlier, "Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth  speaketh,"
do you believe that? Then what you talk about is what is in  your
heart.

LUKE 12: 34 <read>

So what your desires are is the place where your heart will  find
it's abode.

COL 3: 1-4 <read>

If your heart is in His Word, if your treasure is this Word,  and
remember, His Word is Spirit and Life, then your heart will be in
the Word of God day and night. Storing up treasure in your heart.

A treasure that no man can ever take from you. Why? Because It is
in you, and It is Eternal.

Now, back to

1 JOHN 4: 6 <read>

Hereby know we the Spirit of Truth and the Spirit of error.  How?
By  receiving the One Whom God has sent. Now this word hear  also
speaks of hearing those who are truly sent. The word heareth here
not only signifies to audibly hear the sound but also means  more
accurately  to understand what is being taught. It is  the  Greek

word  AKOUO and it not only indicates a hearing of the sound  but
it  also indicates the meaning or message of the voice. Not  just
the  sensate  perception  but the thing as  being  perceived.  In

other words, to understand the message.

Thus  the  scripture reads, "We are of God: he that  knoweth  God
Hears  and understands our message; he that is not of  God  won't
even listen that he might understand."

JOHN 6: 29 <read>

To even do the work of God is simply to believe the one He sends.

JOHN 8: 47 <read>

Then,  it  doesn't matter who is handling His Word. As  we  said,
last  week, the scripture in Jeremiah said, "they have run but  I

have not sent them."

NIV "I did not send these prophets, yet they have run with  [1]their[1]
message; I did not speak to them, yet they have prophecied."

Yet,  we read other scripture where Jesus tells us that  He  does
send out a true ministry with His Message.

JOHN 5:38 - 44 Amplified

"And  you have not His Word (His thought) living in your  hearts, because you do not believe and adhere to, and trust in, and  rely on Him Whom He has sent- That is why you do not keep His  Message living  in you, because you do not believe in the Messenger  Whom He has sent".

"You  search and investigate and pore over the  scriptures  dili
gently, because you suppose and trust that you have Eternal  Life

through  them.  And these very scriptures testify about  me!  And
still you are not willing, but refuse to come to me., so that you
might have Life. I receive not glory from men - I crave no  human
honor,  I look for no mortal fame. But I know you  and  recognize

and understand that you have not the love of God in you".

"I  have come in my Father's name and with His power and  you  do
not  receive me - your hearts are not open to me, you give me  no
welcome.  But if another comes in his own name and his own  power

and with no other authority but himself, you will receive him and
give him your approval".

You see, it doesn't matter how much you pour over the  Scripture.
If you are not ordained to Life you won't see it.

"How  is it possible for you to believe - how can you even  learn
to  believe - who are content to seek for and receive praise  and
honor and glory from one another, and do not seek the praise  and

honor and Glory which come from Him Who alone is God?"

That's  why Martin Luther could say what he did about Romans  10.

ROMANS 10 : 13-17 <read>

1) They can not call upon the lord unless they believe.

2) They can not believe unless they hear the truth. For it

wouldn't do them any good to hear error. They'd be better off

not  hearing at all. Because if they hear false  they  will

   believe what is false.

3) They can not hear without a True preacher. For what good would

it do them to hear a false preacher.

4) Unless the preacher is God sent, they can not preach.

So as Luther put it...

"is impossible that those preach,  who are not sent".

"It is impossible that those who hear, are without a

preacher". In other words, he's saying, it is impossible for

those who are without a preacher to be able to hear and therefore
understand."It  is impossible that they believe who do not hear
".  In  other words,  if you don't hear how can you believe? You can't.  You've got to hear to believe. You can't stay away and move forward.

"It  is  impossible that they call on Him, that they do  not  believe". How can you call on Him if you don't believe Him.  How can  you believe Him or even call on Him if you don't  even  know Him? You'll have to call upon a false god. The God of your imagination. "It is impossible that they who do not call upon the name of       the  Lord shall be saved. So, then, the entire source and  origin of  salvation rests on this, that God sends out someone, (a  true minister of the Word). If He does not send out anyone, then  they who  preach, preach falsely, and their preaching is no  preaching at all. In fact, it would be better for them not to preach. then, they  also who hear, hear error, and it would be better for  them not  to  hear. Then also they who believe,  would  believe  false doctrine, and it would be better for them not to believe".

1 JOHN 4: 6 <read>

Thus  the  scripture reads, "We are of God: he that  knoweth  God
Hears  and understands our message; he that is not of  God  won't
even listen that he might understand."

1 JOHN 2: 19-21 <read>

They  leave  because it is apparent that they do  not  understand
what  is  being  said and therefore take as  a  personal  affront
things that perhaps the Holy Ghost is quickening in their soul to
repent  of.  But he says, that we who remain are not so,  for  we

have an anointing that causes us to believe because it causes  us
to understand.

Now, I have taught you that (that) anointing is the Gift each  is
given  in  Ephesians and in 1 Corinthians that is  the  Spiritual
endowment that is like fertilizer to bring us into full maturity.
It  is the Spirit of Adoption whereby we can cry out an  identify
with  our  Father. It is this Spirit then,  this  anointing  that

brings understanding which in itself brings us to an  identification.  Thus  if we can identify with our Father, and  He  is  the
Word,  then when we hear that same Word coming forth from a  vessel,  we know and Identify with it and in no way can we  separate
from it knowing that even though the vessel may put our faith and

confidence to the test by harsh and a pounding disposition,  yet,
we  know that it is the Truth and therefore whatever  manner  the

Truth  comes,  we love the Truth so much that we can in  no  wise
depart from it. Then we know that the Spirit which we have is the
same  one that wrote the book. That is exactly 1 JOHN 3:  24  and
4:1 and 4: 6. I hope you can see it.

1 COR 2: 9-14 <read

MARK 4: 22 - 25 <read>

He first let's you know that anything hid will be uncovered.  The
he  let's you know that your very nature though covered  over  or
even  hid to your own self, will come into manifestation of  what

it  really is when the Word shines forth. If they don't have  the
measure of GRACE to receive the measure of the Word measured  out
for this age, they can not receive.

                    2 COR 4: 1-6 <read>

The  Truth  of this message of Christ's great Appearing  can  not
stay hid from the Elect. But no matter how much you preach it  or
how  many times and in how many fashions they who are  not  elect
will hear it, they will regardless of hearing will not hear,  nor

will they understand.

                     MATT 13: 10-16 <read>

Then if you can't hear, you can not understand either. And if you
don't  understand, how can you believe. Faith isn't some sort  of
make  believe. It's a Revelation which means you understand.  You

may  not be able to explain how you understand, but you  do.  You
just  know that you know. For how can you believe without  under
standing  what you believe. If you don't understand or know  what
you  believe how can you call it faith. How can you say  you  be

lieve it?

So  as  he  said in pp 168, it doesn't matter what  you  have  or
haven't  done,  that has nothing to do with  your  salvation  and
whether  you are seed or not. It's that Word in you which  brings

His Spirit and therefore His Life. "If you still got that kind of
a  spirit and deny the Word of God, You haven't got the  Word  of
God  in You, you haven't got the Spirit. If you'll sit  and  hear
the Truth preached, and look it up in the Bible and see It's  the

Truth, and then refuse to do it, that's not the Spirit of God.  I
don't care what you have going for you."
