ONENESS
# 64 (recap)
Oneness,
In the Image of the Father
Brian
Kocourek
3 ONENESS 62-021
" I
was here last Sunday night and spoke on the subject
of
Communion before the communion service.
Communion is not taking
bread, commune means "talk to, commune back, talk with
someone."
As we
studied the Message ONENESS, and oneness with God is the
theme of this sermon. We saw that all our thoughts must be
focussed
upon "ONENESS". Yet here he begins to talk about his
last sermon on communion. He tells us that communion
is not just
some form of worship of
taking bread, but it means to
communicate.
Now, I believe that he was not saying this in vain.
So we see
right from the beginning that ONENESS has
something to do with
communication. Notice,
he says, "Commune means to <talk to,
commune back, talk with
someone.>" So it is not a one sided
effort, but he said, to "commune back"
or to "talk to someone"
which means that there is a two way relationship here,
but it is
focussed upon one thought.
How could you hold a conversation with someone who was thinking
different thoughts. When you commune or have real communion with
someone, you must both be in the same wavelength or
shall we say
the same mindset, in order for you to have communion
together.
I.CORINTHIANS 1: 9 10
1:9
God [is] faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship
of his Son Jesus Christ our
Lord.
brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that
ye all speak
the same thing, and [that] there be no divisions
among you; but
[that] ye be perfectly joined together in the
same mind and in
the same judgment.
Notice here that we are called to a fellowship, but he tells us
in order to have this fellowship we must have
the same mindset,
and speak the same things.
Now
I firmly believe the reason we are missing this oneness
with
God and the divine fellowship with Him and with
each other and
even with our own children is that we are so
busy and caught up
into our own daily routines that we
do not take the time to
create the right atmosphere for oneness in our
homes or even in
church service.
Identification... Preparation...
Implementation
Now the word ONENESS means:
1) the quality or state of being one; singleness or unity.
2) unity of mind, feeling, or purpose
3) sameness; identity
What
is our mindset, when we come to church. Do we come right as
the music begins to play, or stand outside
and talk right up
until service begins. Are we preparing our minds
and our hearts
to hear from heaven or are we just coming to fulfill a
religious
obligation.
We should be in our seats at least 10 to 15 minutes before the
song service begins. The piano and guitars
should be playing
softly music that will help you set the
right atmosphere for
worship. We want to
create a mindset where we are all in one
accord and that can not be done if we are out talking.
6-1 GOD.IN.SIMPLICITY -- JEFF.IN --
63-0317.1M
When a
minister walks into a congregation of people praying and
the anointing of the Spirit, you're bound to hear from Heaven.
There's no way to keep from it. But if you walk into confusion,
then you--you're so confused, and the Spirit is grieved.

REVELATION.BOOK.OF.SYMBOLS - JEFF.IN - V-13 N-6 - 56-0617
"Your pastor, when he stands here on the
platform, ministering
the Word of God, he is God's angel to the
church, messenger to
the church. Therefore a pastor should never leave that
Word, but
stay straight with the Word, because the
word pastor means
"shepherd."
Look it up and find out if that ain't right. A pastor
is a shepherd, and the Holy Ghost has made him
overseer over His
Church and flock, to feed them. What
with? The Word of God. Amen.
Oh, my! What a...
4 ONENESS --
JEFF.IN -- V-10 N-2 -- 62-0211
I
am concerned of this time that we're living in. I am very, very
much concerned. When I see the things happening that I
see taking
place, there's something within me that's
stirred. And I am
wanting to just take my time and try to...
Then in pp. 5 and 6, brother Branham takes us into the book
of
Hebrews 1:1-3 and Genesis 1; 26 & 27. <read>
We
noticed that these 2 scriptures held in common a single
point
and that is that if Jesus came in the Image of the Father,
then
all God's Seed must come the same way. By
the Word.
Now why would he read from these two scriptures? What
do they
both have in common? < ? >
In
Hebrews 1 it speaks of Jesus, that He is the brightness of the
Fathers Glory. What does that mean? He is the
effulgence. The
radiance coming forth from God Himself.
And it says He is the
Express Image of God. Is that What it says? And What is God? He's
the Word.
JOHN.1:1
In
the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the
Word was God.
God
created man in His own image. In Genesis chapter
that every seed must bring forth after it's kind and
then it
tells us that God brought forth man in His own image. Now
what is
the image of God? What is God?
So
what Image did we come forth in? The Word! God's own image!
Now
remember how he opened up this message. He first talked about
communion. A ONENESS through communion,
to communicate. But then
he went right from that thought to this one one seed. WHY?
What
is there about this communion and seed that tie together?
JOHN.8:37 - 48
I know
that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, be¨
cause my word hath no place in you.
<38> I speak that which I
have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have
seen with
your father. <39> They
answered and said unto him, Abraham is our
father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye
would do the works of Abraham. <40> But now ye
seek to kill me, a
man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of
God: this
did not Abraham. <41> Ye do
the deeds of your father. Then said
they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one
Father,
[even] God. <42>
Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father,
ye would love me: for I
proceeded forth and came from God;
neither came I of myself, but he sent me. <43> Why do ye not
understand my speech? [even] because ye
cannot hear my word. <44>
Ye are
of [your] father the devil, and the lusts of your father
ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not
in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh
a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar,
and the father
of it. <45> And because I tell [you] the truth,
ye believe me
not. <46> Which
of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the
truth, why do ye not believe me? <47> He that
is of God heareth
God's words: ye therefore hear [them] not, because ye are not
of
God.
So
you can see the tie between seed and Word or the communion
of
fellowship around the Word. He that is of God heareth God's Word.
What a
statement. A communion of the Eternal mind. God and His
seed, joined together in ONE purpose, one thought, one
opinion.
I JOHN 3:2
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet
appear
what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall
appear, we
shall be like him; for we shall see him as he
is. <3> And every
man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he
is
pure.
Why do
you think the Appearing is a period of time more or less
extended. We've got some changing to do before we get our body
change. Romans 12 says, we are transformed by the renewing
of our
mind. So our minds must be renewed first.
II PETER
And
account [that] the longsuffering of our Lord [is]
salvation;
I
thank God for all of us in here this morning that it isn't over
yet. He's waiting on us.
I.JOHN.4:17
Herein
is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the
day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this
world.
Now according to Genesis
are His seed. For God's law of reproduction says that each seed
must bring forth after it's kind.
And, if he is the Word, then we must come into the
same divine
thoughts, opinion, & assessment or Glory as our
Father. In His ¨
image, and He is the Word.
PHILIPPIANS.2:2
Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same
love, ¨
[being] of one accord, of one mind.
PHILIPPIANS.2:5
Let
this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
PHILIPPIANS.3:16
Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk
by
the same rule, let us mind the same thing.
ROMANS.12:16
[Be] of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things,
but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise
in your own
conceits.
I.PETER.4:1
Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh,
arm
yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath
suffered
in the flesh hath ceased from sin;
That is to cease from unbelief. And you know what
I think. I
could be wrong here, but I believe it will take
that squeeze to
cause us to suffer in the flesh that will cause us to cease
from
our unbelief. I hope not, but at the rate we are progressing it
would take another 6,000 years to completely let go
and let God.

12 ONENESS -- JEFF.IN -- V-10 N-2
-- 62-0211
The word
oneness means: "to be one with." Oneness,
"united,"
And, now,
this is quite a subject, and it deserves a lot more
attention than I am able to give it,
and more than most any
person on earth could be able to give. But I would like to
express to you my opinion of it, and, with what God will give
us.
PP.
13 ONENESS -- JEFF.IN -- V-10 N-2
-- 62-0211
For I believe
that that's the way we should do always, weigh
things with the Word, because the Word is the only
Thing that
will be able to remain. Jesus said, "Both heaven and earth will
pass away, but My Word shall not pass away."
That's why I believe
It, and to believe It
to be God's program. I believe
that is the
finished work of God wrote out in Word. Therefore, that if any
thing would be contrary to that Word, it
could not be God or
God's plan. I believe It is the
program. [1]Now, the Spirit of God
in the Word makes the Word live Itself, act Itself out.
It brings
the Word to life, like a seed.[1]
If
we were made in the Image of God and God is the Word, Then
we
must come forth as this Word that He is talking
about. When the
Spirit of God comes into the Word, first in the prophet and
now
in you and me, what will it do? It will make the word
live itself
out, and act itself out. It brings the Word to Life,
like a seed
he said.
EPHESIANS.2:1 - 10
And you [hath he quickened], who were dead in trespasses
and
sins; <2> Wherein in time past ye walked according
to the course
of this world, according to the prince of the
power of the air,
the spirit that now worketh in the children of
disobedience: <3>
Among whom also we all had our
conversation in times past in the
lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh
and of
the mind; and were by nature the
children of wrath, even as
others. <4> But
God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love
wherewith he loved us, <5> Even when we were dead in sins,
hath
quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
<6>
And hath raised [us] up together, and made [us]
sit together in
heavenly [places] in Christ Jesus: <7> That in the ages to
come
he might shew the exceeding
riches of his grace in [his] kindness
toward us through Christ Jesus. <8> For by grace are ye saved
through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it
is] the gift of
God: <9> Not of works, lest any man
should boast. <10> For we are
his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which
God hath before ordained that we should
walk in them.
PP. 18 DESPERATION 63-0901 :
Now, there's just not... No certain evidence.See?
What was you
before this Token was applied? What are you after It's applied?
What was your desires before, and what is your
desires after?
Then you know whether the Token's applied or not.
We
have read thus far from PP. # 3 - 13. We have focussed
on two
thoughts so far in our study. # 1) Is this: ONENESS has to
do
with communion.
Webster's
says of COMMUNION: it is the act of sharing, the act of
sharing one's thoughts or emotions with another. An intimate
relationship with deep understanding.
And
Brother Branham defined Communion as "To Communicate, or talk
back to". In other words a two way
relationship of sharing.
Now communication is essential in order for any message to
go
forth and be understood. It is one thing for the
person giving
the message to know what he is trying to convey,
but if the one
being spoken to does not understand what is being said,
then what
good will the message do. What will it produce?
What can it
produce? Then for
God to send a message to a people who are
unable to hear and understand would be in vain. And
God does not
do anything in vain. So therefore He must fashion a people, His
Seed so that they have it within them to
be able to understand.
Now
that does not mean that every one who hears' will
understand
and believe. On the contrary, we find in the scripture
that many
are actually ordained not to hear and
understand. In fact,
scripture plainly let's you know that only an elect people
are
going to understand because only an elect or
chosen few will be
made in such a way as to be able to understand. We see this in
Jesus dispute with the
Pharisees.
JOHN.8:43
" Why do ye not understand my speech? [even]
because ye cannot
hear my word. " Now, the
question is, why couldn't they hear what
He was trying to tell them? We find the
answer in various places
in scripture.
LUKE.8:10
"And he said, Unto you it is given to know the
mysteries of the
not see, and hearing they might not understand."
Jesus is actually saying that the Word of God is sent forth or
declared in such a way as to be received only by a certain
type
of person.
Notice
in this scripture it says, to you it is "GIVEN". Now
this
word "GIVEN" is a Greek word
"DID-OMI": which means to bestow or
to yield. We see it used of the nature of the seed in that the
seed is to yield it's fruit. WEBSTERS: YIELD: to give or furnish
as a natural process. Brother Branham said a lamb just bears
wool. it doesn't come by a big
effort. We see it used as thus in
the following scriptures.
MARK.4:8
"And
other fell on good ground, and did "YIELD" fruit that sprang
up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and
some sixty,
and some an hundred."
Now
notice, He speaks of the Word of God as being a seed that
is
sown into the ground and the field where it landed
represents
different types of people. The soil that was cultivated YIELDED
fruit. In otherwords, when the
Word came in contact with it, this
particular field or type of person could not help but to
produce
fruit. It YIELDED forth fruit. Now remember, GENESIS
that every seed must bring forth of it's kind.
So
we see that the same Greek word for GIVEN is the same one used
here for YIELDED. Let's continue and see how Jesus uses this
Word.
MARK.4:9 - 11
"And
he said unto them, He that hath ears to hear, let him
hear.
10 And when he was alone, they that were about
him with the
twelve asked of him the parable. 11 And he said
unto them, Unto
you it is GIVEN to know the mystery of the
unto them that are without, all [these]
things are done in
parables:"
Why?
Why? Why are some GIVEN to know and others not?
MARK
"That
seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may
hear, and not
understand; lest at any time they should
be
converted, and [their] sins should be forgiven them."
Now this is an interesting scripture as it let's you know quite
candidly that the Gospel Message is not for every one. God does
not want certain people to hear and understand because it
says if
they did, they would be converted, which means they would
return
back to what they were in the beginning. But if they
were not in
Him in the beginning, how then could they
convert back. How could
they return back. They can't. There-fore He hides the meaning of
the Gospel in obscure ways which keeps it from those
who are not
meant or made to receive it.
Matt
13: 10 - 16 <read>
So
we can see quite readily that point number two had to be
what
brother Branham read as his text, and that is HEB 1: 1-3, and
in
Genesis
bringing forth after it's kind in a certain way of reflecting
the
character and nature of the original which is God. They both
deal
with God's offspring. Jesus as His only begotten Son, and we as
sons.
So, in review, we see that these two
points both deal with
certain aspects that are requirements to having ONENESS with
God.
The first point he makes deals with the communion aspect of two
people sharing in common a message. Both are in the
same mind set
in order to commune or communicate. The second point he made
dealt
specifically with
seed. You can have the same mind and
judgment because you have the same nature as the Father.
PP. 23 DESPERATION -- JEFF.IN -- V-4 N-1 --
63-0901.2E
"The Token,
Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, is among us. We
should reverence that. We--we--we can't humble ourselves enough.
Taking off your shoes or getting on your
knees wouldn't expel it,
it would--it wouldn't satisfy, it wouldn't suffice us,
but a life
that brings forth the fruit of the Spirit...
Then
what will suffice it? a life that will bring forth the
fruit
of the Spirit. What? A life that will YIELD it's fruit. "I am the
vine ye are the branches." He wants to yield His fruit through
us. What else does a Husband want a wife for. He wants to bear
his fruit through her. The fruit of her womb.
Reproduce Himself
in us.
96 THE.TOKEN --
DAL.TX -- V-19 N-12 -- 64-0308
You see,
that's borderline believers. They come through these
different
elements, and through
church, and joining church, and
baptisms and forms. But when it comes right up to crossing over
to get the Token, the evidence that
the Land is there, that
Life... Jesus
Christ is not dead. It's another
dimension. He
lives in us. He is with us, He is now in us. When it comes to
that, "ah," they couldn't believe
that. That was too much, you
see. And they come back, and they, every one, died in the
wilder
ness, not one of them went over. And, see, if we
disbelieve,
So
you see, it must be by faith and faith only in this
Vindicated
Word of God.
The
Token, Christ among us quickens you to the predestinated Life
that's already in you but has been laying dormant. The Light of
His glorius
presence quickens you to the Word and the Life of the
Father that is in us by Election begins to come forth
in the
Image of the Father.
AN ABSOLUTE -- PHOENIX.AZ
-- 63-0127
"And if
you've got the baptism of the Holy Ghost, it can only
point to Christ, and Christ is the Word."
174 DOING.GOD.A.SERVICE
-- JEFF.IN -- V-4 N-8 -- 65-0718.1M
And
today He's standing among us in the Person of the Holy Ghost,
manifesting Hisself more and more,
coming into His Church, making
Hisself known; because Him and the Bride, and the Groom, will be
the Same, making Hisself
known. And one day you'll see that the
One that you feeled in your
heart and see His identification,
will become personalized before you. Then you and He are One.
You've united by the Word, and the Word
was in the beginning will
go back to the beginning which is God. "And that
day you'll know
that I'm in the Father, the Father in Me, I in you, and
you in
Me." Hallelujah! We're here!
Hallelujah! I'm so glad to see Him
personifying Himself right among us and see what He promised
for
the Word, not what somebody's emotions, singing, and
jumping, and
dancing, but by His Word (amen!) He's making Himself known.
JOHN.14:20
At
that day ye shall know that I [am] in my Father, and ye in me,
and I in you." At what day?
This day! JOHN.14:21
He that hath my commandments, and keepeth
them, he it is that
loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my
Father, and
I will love him, and will manifest myself
to him.
So
we see that we were in His thinking before the world was
ever
framed and what He saw in His mind was His own
Seed standing
before His very own Presence in a condition that is Holy and
without blame which means we were to be cleaned up and
set apart
unto Him, in His Presence, His own Seed expressed or
manifested.
15 ONENESS -- JEFF.IN -- V-10 N-2 -- 62-0211
Any man and his family, a correct, good,
noble, obedient family
is one with another, any family. And if there's
something in the
family that moves them apart, then it's not right, the
family's
broken somewhere.
Let's
just stop here. He saw us in Him as expressed Attributes of
Himself standing before His very own Presence. Not apart but in
His presence, holy and blameless. But somewhere
this thought of
God was broken. We became separated from
His Presence. But yet He
saw us standing in His Presence Holy and blameless, so
there must
be a way with which He also planned for this to
happen.
He continues in PP. 15: "They should all be one,
father with
mother, mother with father, children with
parent, parent with
children, all in agreement. And, when you see that, you'll see
one lovely picture."
And
as we saw in Ephesians 1, that is the lovely picture God
had
in His mind before the world was ever framed. So it must
come to
pass. But what
happened? What caused it to not happen in
the
beginning.
