Preparation #35 (Lamb Life)

Preparation pp.   037   Jesus never asked this, "Will I find righteousness? Will I find people that's living good?" Jesus said, "Will I find faith when I return?

Now, the scripture plainly tells us there is One Faith, and since brother Branham taught us that Faith is a Revelation, something that is revealed, then this Faith that Jesus questioned about when He comes, we must know what that Faith is.

ROMANS 5:1     Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2    By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

But what Faith is this He is speaking of here.  Paul gives us the answer to this question in Ephesians and Galatians.

EPHESIANS 3:11   According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:   12    In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.

ROMANS 3:19    Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.   20    Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law [is] the knowledge of sin.   21    But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;   22    Even the righteousness of God [which is] by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:   23    For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;   24    Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:   25    Whom God hath set forth [to be] a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;   26    To declare, [I say], at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.   27    Where [is] boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.   28    Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.  29    [Is he] the God of the Jews only? [is he] not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:    30    Seeing [it is] one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.   31    Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

GALATIANS 2:16   Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.   17    But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, [is] therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.  18    For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.   19    For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.   20    I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.   21    I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness [come] by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

REVELATION 5:1     And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.    2    And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?   3    And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.    4    And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.   5    And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.   6       And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.  7  And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.   8    And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four [and] twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.   9    And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;   10    And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.   11    And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;   12    Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.  13    And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, [be] unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.   14    And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four [and] twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.

REVELATION 10:1    And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow [was] upon his head, and his face [was] as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:   2    And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and [his] left [foot] on the earth,   3    And cried with a loud voice, as [when] a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.   4    And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.   5    And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,   6    And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:   7    But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.   8       And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go [and] take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth.   9    And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take [it], and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.  10    And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.   11    And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.

THE FIRST SEAL 63-0318  157-1  {271}   121   Notice. Now, the Holy Spirit and the revelation and Christ is... The Holy Spirit is Christ in another form. That's right. Notice, it is a Lamb that opened the Book, and the Lamb is Christ; and Christ is not seen anymore from then, but He is seen in the Book of Revelations the 19th chapter, coming on a white horse. If you'd like to read it, let's turn to Revelations 19:11 to 6.

REVELATION CH FOUR PT 1 551-584  60-1231   56   028   So John, we wouldn't have had a--a Book of Revelations if it hadn't have been for John, and John hadn't went out on the Isle. That was God's way of giving us the Book of Revelation. He was out there, I think, about three years, and on the Book, wrote the Book of Revelations. Now, then we leave him at the last of the invitation in the 22nd verse of the 3rd chapter, "He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches."   58   029   Now, begin the 4th chapter. After this I looked, and, behold, a door was open in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was--was as it were... a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will show thee things which must be hereafter. We're going to take It verse by verse. And I've got a lot of Scriptures wrote down here, a--a book of them, and I don't know how far we get into It. May the Lord lead us. Now, watch, the Word is: After these things... (after the church age)...And all this from hereafter now, will be pertaining, will take place on earth after the rapture of the church. See, after the rapture. This is going back now to pick up Israel. After the church age, after the ages of the church, and they... The church never appears again until Revelation the 19th chapter when she returns with Her Bridegroom. Praise God for the wedding.   030   Let's just read that. Would you like to read these Scriptures as we go through? All right. Let's turn to Revelations 19. All right, sir, Revelations 19. Let's begin at the 7th verse, Revelations 19. This is when the church appears again, never appears again till over in the 19th chapter. Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife has made herself ready. Oh, I--I could preach on that till midnight and not half tell it. Look, "His wife has made Herself ready."

SIXFOLD PURPOSE GABRIEL VISIT DAN  61-0730E   133   080   Now, after this the Bride appears. After the seventy weeks, the Bride appears in Revelations the 19th chapter, the 1st and the 16th verse. She arrives with her Bridegroom, the mighty King. Oh, my. I don't know whether we're going to get it all or not. Just got it so... Let's just read part of this anyhow. Here's where the Bride will come, after this. See? After the millennium sets in, then Christ comes back with the Bride. Right. One to sixteen in the 19th chapter...

And after these things... (After this tribulation, after the Woes, after the Seals, after the Plagues, after the casting out of Satan, after the setting up of the Millennium. Watch.) ... after these things I heard a... voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory,... honour,... power, unto the Lord our God: For true and righteous are thy judgments: for he had judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and has avenged the blood of his servants at her hand. And again he--they--and again they said, Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever... (That's the old prostitute church.)... her smoke rose up... And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that set upon the throne, saying, Amen; Hallelujah. And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God--Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great. And I heard as it was the voice of a great multitude,... (Listen. Here you are, church. After She went up in the 3rd chapter, here She comes. See?)... And I... (The 6th verse.)... And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a mighty thundering, saying, Hallelujah: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. (Hallelujah. Watch. The marriage of the Lamb comes now. Here She comes.) Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife has made herself ready. (Here She comes, both Bride and Bridegroom.) And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is... righteousness of saints. And he said unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the wedding supper of the Lamb. And he said unto me. These are... true sayings of God. And I fell down at the feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou doeth it not: I am of thy fellowservant,... thy brethren and have the--thy brethren and have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Christ--of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. And I saw heaven opened, and... a white horse;... (Oh, my.)... and he that set thereon... was called Faithful and True, and... righteousness does he judge and make war. And his eyes was as flames of fire, and... his head was many crowns;... (He was crowned what? King of kings.)... and he had a name written, that no man knowed, but... himself. And he was clothed with white vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God... ("In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was God; and the Word was made flesh and dwelled among us." Who was It? Jesus.)... and His Name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. (Glory. Here He comes.) And out of his mouth will go a sharp sword, that--and that... it... should smite the nations: and... shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness of the wrath of Almighty God. And he had on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KING, AND LORD OF LORDS.   134   081   What was it? His people had just crowned Him King of king and Lord of Lord, coming back to His holy Temple, anointed with the Presence of God to live and to reign through the millennium with His Church. Amen. The appearing with the mighty King to take Her place at His side, the new royal anointed Temple...

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS  COD  62-0527  720-164   065   Now, someone wrote me here not long ago, and asked me, said, "If you do not believe that the church goes through the tribulation period, how about Revelations 13, how they overcome by the Blood of the Lamb and their testimony?" The person asked that question. I wonder. Do you realize that the first three chapters of Revelation deals with the church in the church age? That's the tribulation period, not the church age; the church raptures and goes up at the 4th chapter of Revelation, never comes again till the 19th chapter when it comes with Jesus. That's right. That's in the tribulation period, not nothing to do with the church at all.

WHY AGAINST ORGANIZED RELIGION 62-1111E   220   119   Notice, the 19th chapter is the next, "After these things..." Did you notice here in the 19th chapter, "After these things..."? Watch what? After what? After the message of come out of her. After these things (Watch.) is the shout of the Bride saints with the Bridegroom, going to the marriage of the Lamb. How close are we then, brother? What's the last call? Come out of Babylon. Now, my brethren, that's the reason I'm against it; it's unscriptural. It's unorthodox. It's been proven to be false. God is not in it; He never was; He never will be. Now, I ain't saying there's not people in these organizations, that's where the church was made up of. But as long as you stay into that system, you're a part of it.

THYATIREAN CHURCH AGE 60-1208   35   016   And now, we find out that He also got hidden manna. Now, hidden manna is typed to the shewbread. The shewbread was for priests alone. That is right. Shewbread was just for the priest. And they... It was a special thing made for the priest, that is, the leaders; and this man overcome. The whole congregation got manna, but he got a hidden special manna, or special revelation, oh, of Who Jesus was, and what about Him, all about Him. See, he got that revelation if he had overcome. To the angel, "Hold fast, for he that..." He had overcome... Addressed to the angel of the church... See?

Patmos vision hidden manna is not given to the whole church

Rising of the SON  65-0418  31-5   080   Oh, when He raised up Christ from the grave, dwelling in you, is quickened your mortal bodies unto His Presence. You recognize It; you are no longer a scavenger; you're a eagle. You don't want the things of the world. You're a son and daughter of God. You're feasting at a fountain that the world knows nothing about; you're drinking at--somebody knows--the world knows nothing about. You're eating hidden Manna that the world never even knowed nothing of It, for you're an eagle; you're quickened up where you can get to It. You can't get to It down here; you got to get up here. You got to be quickened, lifted up there, so It will quicken.

 FORSAKING ALL 62-0123

E-124   124   Heavenly Father, now I have said what Your Word said, forsaking all to follow You. Those who forsook all got to see You. And no matter what You would do, those who will not forsake sin and follow will never be able to understand. Those who do forsake sin, unbelief... We know that sin is unbelief. No matter how holy we live, what all we do, if we still disbelieve, we are sinners. The Bible says, "He that believeth not is condemned already." So we know that we must believe every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. That should be our daily bread.

92-3 EPHESIAN.CHURCH.AGE  -  CHURCH.AGE.BOOK.CPT.3

Now to get the real meaning of what we are about to go into, I must caution you to ever keep in mind that religion (spiritual matters if you like), is composed of two parts that intertwine but are as opposite as black and white. Religion and the spiritual world are made of those two trees which had their roots in Eden. Both the Tree Of Life and the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil stood in the midst of the garden and no doubt their very branches intertwined each other. Thus in the Ephesian Church is that same paradox. The church is made up of good and bad. Two vines make the church. They are like the wheat and tares, growing up side by side. But one is the TRUE. The other is the FALSE. Now God will speak TO each one and He will talk ABOUT each one. He will call them the church. And only the elect will really know which is the true Spirit. Only the elect will not be deceived. Matthew 24:24, "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect." So way back there in the early church (a very short period after Pentecost) the false vine got to intertwine itself around the True Vine and we find these deeds of the Nicolaitanes. And that spirit is going to be found fighting the True Vine until it is destroyed by God. Now have you got it?

175-4 PERGANEAN CHURCH AGE  - CH  5   But what do we have in this our day? Multitudes are working signs until we have a generation of sign seekers that know little or nothing about the Word, or a true move of the Spirit of God. If they see blood, oil and fire they are happy; it matters not what is in the Word. They will support any sign, even unscriptural ones. But God has warned us about that. He said in Matthew 24 that in the last days the two spirits would be so close together that only the very elect could tell them apart, for they alone would not be deceived.

'A DECEIVED CHURCH' "But as Israel was bound by their Kings that they could not follow the real King; and the real King, when He came, they didn't recognize Him. So is it today, oh, Lord. The King of Glory has appeared in the form of the Holy Ghost and Lord, They don't know it. They don't recognize it. They're so organized so tight, that they do not understand it, because It's not in their organization. Lord this is a work of the devil that's done this to the people. May the Samson of God, may the True in heart, Those who are longing and crying and pleading and holding on, may they stay with It, Lord, until this new crop grows out. Until there comes forth a joy in Zion, and there comes forth a group that can recognize and understand. That can see the Messiah and the hidden power that's hid from the world, that they will not understand now. Grant, Lord, that they'll see this, for we ask It in Jesus name, a-man."

MY REDEEMER LIVETH  55-0410S  161   043   Don't you love Him? We sing that little song because we believe that the Holy Ghost Gospel is still dripping with blood. It's a way of persecution. It's a way of misunderstanding. That's right. The world don't know it. The world never knew it. The world will hate you. "But be of a good cheer, I've overcome the world." They don't understand it. "The preaching of the cross is foolishness to them that perish." But there's something down in the believer's heart, says, "I know my Redeemer liveth. I know it, beyond a doubt."

WHO IS THIS  59-1004M  Then, if that is true, a supernatural God cannot change His nature to fit people's nature. People has to change their nature to fit God's supernatural plan. And that's why people cry, "Who is this?" It's God in the midst of His people. They don't understand it. God will never come to your level; you'll have to come to His. God will not come to your requirement; you have to come to God's. And then when that requirement is met upon a promise that God made to redeem the people. If that requirement has met, your entire being changes; your thinking changes. Your habits change. Everything about you changes. Your desires change. Your living changes. Your habits change. You change. Everything about you changes, 'cause there's a new life in you.

Secret things belong to us

I SAMUEL 12:23     Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way:  24    Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great [things] he hath done for you.

DEUTERONOMY 4:5   Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the LORD my God commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it.

EXODUS 18:19     Hearken now unto my voice, I will give thee counsel, and God shall be with thee: Be thou for the people to God-ward, that thou mayest bring the causes unto God.  20    And thou shalt teach them ordinances and laws, and shalt shew them the way wherein they must walk, and the work that they must do.

DEUTERONOMY 6:6    And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:  7    And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.  8    And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes 9    And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.

DEUTERONOMY 11:18      Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes.  19    And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.  20    And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house, and upon thy gates:

JOHN 6:45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.

PSALMS 119:33      HE. Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it [unto] the end. 34 Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with [my] whole heart.

JOB 6:24  Teach me, and I will hold my tongue: and cause me to understand wherein I have erred.

ISAIAH 28:9     Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? [them that are] weaned from the milk, [and] drawn from the breasts.   10    For precept [must be] upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, [and] there a little:   11    For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.   12    To whom he said, This [is] the rest [wherewith] ye may cause the weary to rest; and this [is] the refreshing: yet they would not hear. 13 But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, [and] there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

PHILIPPIANS 3:15 ¶  Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

I TIMOTHY 6:3    If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, [even] the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;    4    He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,  5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

II JOHN 1:9    Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.    10       If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into [your] house, neither bid him God speed:  11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

ISAIAH 29:9     Stay yourselves, and wonder; cry ye out, and cry: they are drunken, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink.  10    For the LORD hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath he covered.  11    And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which [men] deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it [is] sealed:  12    And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned.  13    Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near [me] with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men: 14    Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, [even] a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise [men] shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent [men] shall be hid. 15    Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the LORD, and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who seeth us? and who knoweth us? 16 Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter's clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding?

ISAIAH 50:4      The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to [him that is] weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.  5    The Lord GOD hath opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back. 6     I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.  7    For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.  8    [He is] near that justifieth me; who will contend with me? let us stand together: who [is] mine adversary? let him come near to me.  9    Behold, the Lord GOD will help me; who [is] he [that] shall condemn me? lo, they all shall wax old as a garment; the moth shall eat them up.  10       Who [is] among you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh [in] darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his God. 11 Behold, all ye that kindle a fire, that compass [yourselves] about with sparks: walk in the light of your fire, and in the sparks [that] ye have kindled. This shall ye have of mine hand; ye shall lie down in sorrow.

ROMANS 16:17       Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.  18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

EPHESIANS 4:8    Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.    9    (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?  10    He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)  11    And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;   12    For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:   13    Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:   14    That we [henceforth] be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, [and] cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;   15    But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, [even] Christ:   16    From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.   17       This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,    18    Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:    19    Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.    20    But ye have not so learned Christ;  21  If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:  22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; 23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

HEBREWS 5:8    Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;   9    And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;    10       Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec.    11    Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.  12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which [be] the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. 13     For every one that useth milk [is] unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.   14    But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, [even] those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

ISAIAH 26:9 With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments [are] in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

MATTHEW 11:27  All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and [he] to whomsoever the Son will reveal [him].28  Come unto me, all [ye] that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

DEUTERONOMY 4:10 [Specially] the day that thou stoodest before the LORD thy God in Horeb, when the LORD said unto me, Gather me the people together, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they shall live upon the earth, and [that] they may teach their children.

DEUTERONOMY 5:1 ¶  And Moses called all Israel, and said unto them, Hear, O Israel, the statutes and judgments which I speak in your ears this day, that ye may learn them, and keep, and do them.

PSALMS 119:73 ¶  JOD. Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.

ISAIAH 30:1 ¶  Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin:

JEREMIAH 10:2 Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.

I JOHN 2:27    But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

HEBREWS 8:10     For this [is] the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:   11    And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.

LAW OR GRACE  54-1006   026   Now, if you're believing right... If you just confess it with your lips, it don't do much good. But from your heart, if you believe that Jesus is the Son of God, you can't live the same life you once lived. You can't, if you ever get a true view of Calvary. Now, if you're just taking just a haphazard way, you're just--you're just fooling yourself. But when you really get a view of what Jesus was... Oh, my, how I like to preach the Deity, the supreme Deity of Jesus Christ. If you could ever realize Who He was, and what He did for you men and women, your hearts would rend within you, and you'd be willing to throw away the trash of the world to live for Him. Oh, how marvelous, and what a Person He was. If you realize the condescending of God Himself, unfolding Himself, coming down till He could get into your heart...   67   027   When God the Father, in a form of a big Cloud, hung over the children of Israel, and when He settled on the mountain that morning to write the law, why, even if an animal touched the mountain, he must be thrust through with a dart. Only through sanctification did He bring Moses up. Set Aaron way down at the bottom of the hill to watch and to keep guard that nothing... And when that Pillar of Fire settled on that mountain, the lightning bursted forth, and the thunders roared, the blackness settled. When Jehovah God, the Creator of all eternity settled on top of a mountain that He created Himself, the thickness of the clouds a bursting forth of the lightning, the shaking of the earth, till, them Israelites standing out yonder in camp, with a bleeding sacrifice around them, said, "Let Moses speak, and not God, 'less we die."... Think of that.

COLOSSIANS 4:2      Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;  3    Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:  4    That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.   5       Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.  6    Let your speech [be] alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.
