Preparation #39 (Knowing the day and hour)

MATTHEW 16:1    The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came, and tempting desired him that he would shew them a sign from heaven.  2  He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, [It will be] fair weather: for the sky is red.  3    And in the morning, [It will be] foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring. O [ye] hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not [discern] the signs of the times?

ECCLESIASTES 3:1  To every [thing there is] a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

Jesus called the Pharisees hypocrites because they were good at looking at the sky and discerning what the next day would bring, and in knowing what the next day would bring they would be able to prepare for that day. We have an old expression, "red sky in the morning, sailors take warning." Because if there is a red sky in the morning, that means bad weather ahead and if you are a sailor, you may not want to risk being out on the sea at that time. And Jesus told the Pharisees, that they could look at the conditions in the natural and could prepare for the natural things which were on the way, but when it comes to the season of God, and the hour in which they lived they seemed to be blind as to what God was doing. They failed to look at the day in which they lived to see what hour was upon them.  And so we see that God has a purpose and a season for every purpose. But if we do not know what season we are living in then we will not know how to prepare for what that season brings.

VOICE OF THE SIGN 64-0313  Unless we know the Word of God, we don't know what to do. We can't have faith until we know what is the will of God and what... And then if we know it is the will of God, the Word of God said something, then we can gladly follow that. Now, if the Lord Jesus was walking around personally on the earth tonight in human flesh, and He said, "Tomorrow it'll be raining all day long," now it would be very easy for me to take an umbrella when I leave in the morning, because He said it. Now, if He didn't say it, I don't know then what to look to. So that's the way it is. In anything we do we want to know the hour, the age we're living.

Preparation…039 All right. Listen, God making a preparation. How ridiculous it seems sometimes. Take, for instance, Moses. God had a time that He was going to fulfill His Word. He promised Abraham that his seed would sojourn in a strange land for a long time, four hundred years, but He'd bring them out. When the time of the promise drew nigh, God raised up a boy named Moses. He disobeyed God, and they had to suffer for forty years. But one day back there on the backside of the desert, God said, "I heard the groans of My people, seen their cries, and I've come down to deliver them." I like that, don't you? Amen. Oh, I want you to notice this in here, it just tickles me all over. Watch. Here's old Moses, eighty years old, our brother Moses, eighty years old, standing back on the backside of the desert, and he seen a bush on fire one day a burning.

REPROACH FOR THE WORD  62-1223  030   And God sets a time and has a purpose for everything that He does. There's nothing happens just accidentally to those who love the Lord and are called according to His calling. See, we are predestinated. And everything works just right for that; because He cannot lie, and He said that was so, that everything has its time, its season, and it has its way; and God is behind every move. And sometimes you think that everything's going wrong. It's up to us. Those things are put upon us, trials and wonderings; it's testing to see how we will react on a action.

This morning I would like to examine These thoughts of brother Branham in paragraph 39. He said,  God had a time that He was going to fulfill His Word. And this morning I would like to examine the timing of God and His Word.

But what was it that blinded the Pharisees from knowing the day and hour that they lived? It was their traditions.

UNVEILING OF GOD 64-0614M  120  It's organized traditions; a man don't know where he stands. But glory to God, He promised in the last days what He would do: He would show His Word in plain view, open before us again (See?), open It up. If they'd have only knowed the Word, they'd have knowed Who Jesus was. If a man only knowed the Word of God, he'd know the hour we're living and what's going on. They just refuse to listen to that Word. Their traditions... What caused those Jews to see that? What caused? Looked like they could've actually seen, because the thing was tore open. It was tore open for a purpose.

PROOF OF HIS RESURRECTION 55-0410M  010   And then, people, through traditions, has blinded men from the great fundamental truths of the Scripture. Now, Jesus spoke the same thing when He was here on earth. He said, "Ye are blind leaders of the blind." He said, "If the blind leads the blind, won't they all fall in the ditch?" Now, pronouncing Christian or religious teachers blind... See, God has a way of revealing Himself to the people and making Himself known to the people, but many times tradition shuts off the people before God can get a chance to get into them to reveal Himself. See? You get it? See? Traditions, oh, what that is today.     011   Now, those teachers that the Lord Jesus was speaking to, were very orthodox. They were real scholars. They kept the letter of the Word, the law, to the very letter; not one tot or jit, or anything would pass from it. And they must have it perfect. So we can be so perfect with our education and with our theory until we leave Christ plumb out of the picture. We get plumb away from the real facts.

We know that we are living in the last days. Most people know this because it has been pointed too, and taught by s many different teachers over the last couple generations, that  all of Christianity ought to know this. But because of their traditions, they make the word of God of none effect. Jesus told us that.

In MARK 7:6 Jesus said, He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with [their] lips, but their heart is far from me.  7    Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching [for] doctrines the commandments of men.  8    For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, [as] the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.  9    And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition. And in verse :13, Jesus said… Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.

So we see that traditions is what blinds the people to the day and hour which they live.

MAN THAT CAN TURN ON LIGHT  63-1229M 123   061   Now, think of it. Think of it. They claimed that they believe that Word. But their traditions had turned their faces from the true Word to a glare; therefore, they couldn't see the real thing. So is it today. So has it been in every age. See, the true Word shines, but they have been so traditionalized that they can't see that Word.

In Revelations 3: 14-20 we see the condition of the church in the end-time that they are blind and naked and don't even know it. Why are they blind? Because of their traditions. They hold to their traditions and that nullifies the word of God for their day to them. That is why they can not see their true condition. They are blinded by traditions.

EVENTS.MADE.CLEAR.BY.PROPHECY.title  JEFF.IN  V-12 N-3  65-0801E Now, they had done to Him what all the prophets listed that they would do, just as they are doing in this very Laodicean age, put Him out of the church: blind, naked, and don't know it, just what the prophet said, the prophet of the Bible. Blinded by man's traditions, they put Him out, the Word out of their churches, as usual, as prophesied of them.

Now, notice how the traditions blind. The traditions actually become a veil over the eyes of their understanding and it keeps them from seeing what is so openly declared right before their very faces.

UNVEILING OF GOD  64-0614M 112   059   Could it be possible that the Gentiles has hit the same thing? (Oh, God.) When they've had the church ages of the Son of God, but when now the veil of this denominations and things, this veil of tradition that we've got since Pentecost, when the church traditions has been rent, the things that the people said, "Days of miracles is past," and these things, and God has took the veil off of it and brought It in plain view, and they're ready to crucify It again. Just exactly right.   113   060   The unveiled God, plain view, they should've seen Him standing there. Yet He was too common; He was an ordinary Man. They couldn't see It. See, there stood a Man. "Well," they said, "this guy, what school did He come from?" But remember, when that spear struck His body, that Spirit left Him, the temple of sacrifice blocks turned over, and the lightning whipped down through the temple and rent the veil. What was it? There was their God hanging on Calvary, and they were too blind to see it. Brought Him in open view, and still they don't see It. They're blinded. God, veiled in a human being...

And what has hid the presence of God from the people today? The same thing. The veil of traditions is upon the people and they don’t know it.

UNVEILING.OF.GOD.title  JEFF.IN  V-9 N-1  64-0614M  238   120   Notice, all the Glory that is in God is in the Word. All the blessings that's in God is in the Word. It's hid to the unbeliever by traditions. See what I mean? But It's all in Christ. All that God was, He emptied Himself ("kenos") and came into Christ; and we, into Christ are behind the veil..."Well, I'm into Christ," you say. And then believe there's three gods? Baptize in the name of "Father, Son, and Holy Ghost"? Believe in all these traditions and things that you believe in, of the elders? No, you're still behind the veil. See? Come into the veil; He, Christ is the Word. How?

[Mark 4: 24] that we must be careful, we must take heed how we hear because the measure we use to hear is the only thing we will hear. As a tree leaneth so shall it fall. If our minds are already made up then what we hear will be filtered by what we want to hear. If our minds are not open  then we will never come to the knowledge of the truth.  ( ex: young man leaning, try to stand up, can’t do it!)

[Mark 4:24] For with what measure you use to measure out, that is all you will receive back.

[Luke 8:18]  How            : Pos     : By what means, after what manner, in what way.

Hath            : echo   : The word speaks of possession, but we also understand the word echo

                                                        means repetition through reflection.

2 Corinthians 3: II CORINTHIANS 3:7  But if the ministration of death, written [and] engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which [glory] was to be done away:    8    How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?  9    For if the ministration of condemnation [be] glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. 10  For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth.   11    For if that which is done away [was] glorious, much more that which remaineth [is] glorious.   12       Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech: 13   And not as Moses, [which] put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:   14    But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which [vail] is done away in Christ.  15But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. 16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.   17    Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord [is], there [is] liberty.  18    But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, [even] as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Malachi 4 to turn the hearts of the children to the hearts of the fathers.

UNVEILING OF GOD 64-0614M if you'll just do that, break those old traditions and things and come to Him, you'll see Him standing the Mighty Conqueror, the Word of promise for this age made manifest. You'll see the mighty God unveiled, see Him right among us here, unveiled, the mighty God, unconquered by traditions.

PROOF OF HIS RESURRECTION 55-0410M 73   024   Now, these apostles, being yet men who had walked with Jesus, who'd had fellowship with Him, walked along in the natural as man today. But they failed to recognize Who He was. Jesus said, "The Blind Pharisees," He said, "Oh, you do take the commandments of God," notice, "and make them of none effect by your traditions." See? There they was, teachers, scholars, seminary students. And the Scripture plainly said that Jesus would come in the manner that He come, but their traditions didn't teach it that way. They tried to rub it all out, and say, "That was some other time. And this will be for some other time." But God come just the same. And today, as it was then, so is it now. They set this part aside, and this part aside, and say, "God did then; He won't do now. That's not for this day." "He's the same yesterday, today, and forever." That's the Scripture.

WHAT SHALL I DO WITH JESUS   63-1124M And the blind traditions or systems could not see that That was God. By their own prophet (that who the Word came to) that said that He would be God... The blind systems... So they had rejected the Word and desired a murderer instead, Barabbas.

[Proverbs 22:6] And so a child will always revert back to the way he or she was trained. The filter we have, the measuring stick we have is based upon what information we filter it through. And so we see that every thing we know we were taught by someone. Every fact we use to make our decisions with is based upon what we were told. And the world is under such delusions today that people take what is only theory and believe it for Gospel. Ex: Darwin and evolution, Landing on the moon, Brother Branham said, they’ll never do it. Videos show heavy gravity. No booster rockets to get them back, etc. What about star wars, It was a bluff to bankrupt Russia. etc.

Ex: Lamb under blanket,  1) Four legs 2) beautiful outer coat 3) Gentle nature 4) it’s nature is to follow  5) It can jump small fences 6) it is sacrificial in it’s nature 7) A Shepherd boys best friend   COLLIE, BUNNY [John 8: 37 - 47] [Matt 23:32] Fill ye up the measure of your fathers. (Ex: Dead men do bleed!)

1). You can only know someone by their mind - what they think and what they say. Even the things they do is a manifestation of what is what they are thinking. Brother Branham said, Eve had to first think adultery before she could perform it. You must first think of lying before you do it.

2). If you hear a false description you will be looking for a false person [2 Cor 11:1-4] Another

[Galatians 1: 6-9] perverted Gospel is one of a different nature

3). Therefore how do we know what is the Correct Word of God. VINDICATION is the only way. And how does God VINDICATE His Word? God interprets His Own Word by bringing it to pass. Brother Branham spoke of vindication well over 2,270 times and the word comes from a Latin word vindicatius. This word comes from two Latin words, vim or vin which means to use force and the word discrere which comes from the root word diction which means to express by words. The words together form the word as we know it vindicate which means to clear from criticism or suspicion, in other words, to prove and back up. Therefore we see that the very presence of God on the seen is to back up the message that He gave His Prophet.

ROMANS 10:13-17     For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.   14    How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?   15    And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!   16    But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?   17    So then faith [cometh] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Martin Luther in his comments on these verses said, "Even though they say they hear, they boast in vain, unless they hear true preachers; for to hear false prophets means as much as not to hear. They hear and they do not hear. They have ears, but do not hear, nor do they preach The True Word of God.  There are four statements which follow one another is such as way that one leads to the other, but so that the last forms the foundation on which the others rest. Thus, 1. It is impossible that those preach who are not sent. 2. It is impossible that those hear who are without a preacher. 3. It is impossible that they believe who do not hear. 4. It is impossible that they call upon Him who do not believe. To these must be added a fifth, it is impossible that they who do not call upon the name of the lord shall be saved. So, then, the entire source and origin of salvation rests on this, that God sends out someone, (a true minister of the Word). If He does not send out any, then they who preach preach  falsely, and their preaching is no preaching at all. In fact, it would be better for them not to preach. Then also, they who hear, hear error, and it would be better for them not to hear. Then also they who believe, would believe false doctrine, and it would be better for them not to call. For such preachers, do not preach; such hearers do not hear; such believers do not believe; such callers do not call; they will be damned because they would be saved by falsehood. As we read in Proverbs 1:28 "Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: for that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the Lord".  Then only they can preach with certainty who preach without error."

Now, we know what Paul said in Romans 10, and we know what he said in 2 Corinthians 11, and again in the book of Galatians, that if they receive a wrong word, then they will receive a wrong spirit.  How then can we think that anyone who sits under a wrong ministry and has a wrong conception of the message has the right spirit, which is the Holy Spirit?  A wrong conception is a wrong quickening to life. Conception means to quicken to life.  We know Peter said, in 1 Peter 1:23 that "we are born again, not by a corruptible seed, but by an incorruptible seed, by the Word of God which Lives and Abides forever." Jesus told us that the Sower sowed a seed which is the Word of God. And that seed will produce a life according to the law of reproduction, which states, "Ever seed must bring forth after it's own nature."

The to receive a wrong word will and must produce a wrong spirit or a wrong life. How can it be any other way.   Did you know that brother Branham said we must have a right teaching in order to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit? To receive the Seal of God? And if you don't receive the seal of God there is only one seal left and that is the seal of satan, which is the mark of the beast.

LUKE 19:41    And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it,    42    Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things [which belong] unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.  43    For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side,   44    And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.

END TIME EVANGELISM 62-0603  061   And she left her water-pot and ran into the city, and said, "Come, see a Man Who told me the things I've done. Isn't that the very Messiah?" See? That's Him. Now, see, she knew that He was coming, because the prophets and the Scripture had, in the days of Moses, in the days of the prophets, and all the way back in each one of those dispensations, had said, "He will be here, and this is what He'll be." Oh, my. If the people could only see that today, then they'd know the day we're living. They would see it's God's promise for this day. God said it would be this way. There's nothing wrong. God's great clock is ticking just exactly the right time. And even according to science, it's three minutes till midnight. So you see, the stroke might come at any time. And that's been two or three years ago since they said that.   107   062   See, we're at the end time. But, you see, we've changed dispensations from the old church age of back here where that dismal day was, just join church and put your name on the book; until the evening Light, the restoration, the return again of the Holy Spirit upon the earth; another Pentecost, another sign, another thing was to take place. And the people doesn't believe It, because they're so set like they was in the days of Jesus. See? He told of this day when He was here on earth. He come exactly according to Scripture, then He foretold of this day coming.

HANDWRITING ON THE WALL 006   And we would ask tonight, Lord, that You would shake Your church as never before, that we might know the hour that we're living. For truly in last evening's reading we find that this church age was to be a lukewarm, just beginning to get into the world. And the vine of formalism growing around the church and choking out the spiritual life of the church, so, God, tonight, send in the sickle and the grubbing hoe, and cut out all the weeds that's choking out the church. All the great spiritual blessings of the church that it deserves, and that Jesus has died that it might receive, may it come a hundredfold tonight, a great shower of His blessings upon the people, as we reverently wait, Lord. And as we open Thy Word, knowing that It is the Word of Life, and it's God Himself painted on a page, we would ask that You would send the Spirit to the heart of Your servant, Lord, and get a context that would be just appropriate for this hour. Hear the prayer of Your servants, Lord, as we pray together, in the Name of the Lord Jesus, and for His glory. Amen.

MARK OF THE BEAST 037   Watch the Scriptures, watch the promise. Know the hour that's approaching. Those disciples filled with the Holy Ghost, marked with that sign in their foreheads, of that seal of God, they begin to watch and when they seen what Jesus said coming to pass, they got out of there.

GABRIEL'S.INSTRUCT.TO.DANIEL.title  JEFF.IN  DA 1-44  61-0730M   017   We would ask Thee, our God, to reveal to us these secret things that's been hid all these years, as we are approaching one of the most sincere, solemn words. Thou did speak of it when You were here on earth, and said, "He that readeth, let him understand." So we most graciously come to Thee, Lord, and seek Thy wisdom, not knowing just what to say. Set in order here a few Scriptures, and solemnly and wholly depending upon Thee for the answer, for no other purpose but that we might know the hour that we're living, that we might be prepared for the great things that lies ahead. Won't You grant it to us, Lord?

IDENTIFICATION.title  TULARE.CA  V-22 N-14  64-0216   111  Now, see, you must know the hour that you're living.

THINGS THAT ARE TO BE  65-1205  019   Your birth here was preplanned. I guess you believe that. Every one of you knows that our birth was preplanned. Did you know that your being here never originated just at a myth or a thought? Everything was all preplanned by God before the foundation of the world that you're here. The infinite God knowed... To be--to be infinite, He had to know every flea that ever would be in the earth and how many times it would bat its eye. That's infinite. See? You're--our little--our little minds cannot fathom what infinite means. The infinite God, He knowed all things; therefore, there's nothing out of cater. If we know the Word of God, we know where we are living. We know the hour that we're living in. We know what lays ahead. We see what we've passed. And the Book of God is the revelation of Jesus Christ, His works through the ages that was up to the Book of Revelation and then His promises that is to come. So all of His promises are true. God cannot speak any Word without it being confirmed. Every Word that He says has to come to pass.

MODERN EVENTS MADE CLEAR BY PROPHECY  65-1206  14  Father, as we open this Word, now speak to us directly out of this Word, that we might know the hour that we're living. If we know the hour we're living, then we can prepare for that hour; but if we go in blindly, not knowing what or where, then we don't know how to prepare.

JOHN 14:20  At that day ye shall know that I [am] in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

ABSOLUTE.AN  63-1201M  95 " If ye abide in Me, and My Word in you, ask what you will." And if you are in the Word and part of the Word, you'll only ask what the Word tells you to ask. Know the day you're living then and ask accordingly.

TESTIMONY 63-1128M  I'm not a preacher. Anybody knows that. I'm not a preacher. But it's made up in a--a spiritual form of--of watching things and seeing things move, and forewarning people of things that's coming to pass. And it's just that's my makeup. I can't help that, no more than you can help your makeup. But He--God has put us each one in the Body to do certain things. And I watch every little move, every objective, every motive, 'cause everything is governed by--governed by spirit.   014   This church was put here for a purpose. There's a spirit behind this church. Certainly. Spirit behind your home, behind every building, behind everything there is a spirit, motive, and objective. This church comes here to greatly exalt some human system or something, then its motives is not right; but if it's put here to try to achieve something for the Kingdom of God, then the motive and objective both is right, if the motives is directed that way.

Did you know that God has nothing out of kilter. That everything is right on time with God's plan.

SHOW HOW God has a plan and in order to have a plan there must be a timing involved in that plan. Thus there is a timing or season that is involved in a plan.

Show that Kalusma is a military plan which must also have an epical timing involved.

GENESIS 21:1   And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken.  2  For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.

PSALMS 27:1  [A Psalm] of David. The LORD [is] my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD [is] the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?  2    When the wicked, [even] mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.  3    Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this [will] I [be] confident.  4    One [thing] have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.  5    For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.

PSALMS 37:39  But the salvation of the righteous [is] of the LORD: [he is] their strength in the time of trouble.  40    And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.

DANIEL 8:17  So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end [shall be] the vision.

DANIEL 8:23   And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.

DANIEL 12:1     And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation [even] to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.  2    And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame [and] everlasting contempt.  3    And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.   4    But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, [even] to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

DANIEL 12:9  And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words [are] closed up and sealed till the time of the end.  10    Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

MATTHEW 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

LUKE 19:44   And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.

I THESSALONIANS 5:1  But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.   2    For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.   3    For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.   4    But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.   5    Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.   6       Therefore let us not sleep, as [do] others; but let us watch and be sober.   7    For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.   8    But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.   9    For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

ACTS 3:19  Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;   20    And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:   21    Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

PSALMS 9:9  The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.

LUKE 21:20     And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.   21    Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.  22    For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.  23    But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.  24    And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.  25    And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;   26    Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.  27    And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory  28    And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

22    For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.    23    And it shall come to pass, [that] every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.

LUKE 12:35  Let your loins be girded about, and [your] lights burning;   36    And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.  37    Blessed [are] those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.  38    And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find [them] so, blessed are those servants.  39    And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.  40    Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.

JOHN 2:1     And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:   2    And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage.   3    And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.  4    Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.

JOHN 4:21   Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.  22    Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.  23    But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.  24    God [is] a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship [him] in spirit and in truth.

JOHN 5:24  Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.  25    Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.  26    For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;   27    And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.  28    Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,   29    And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

JOHN 7:30  Then they sought to take him: but no man laid hands on him, because his hour was not yet come.

JOHN 8:20  These words spake Jesus in the treasury, as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come.

JOHN 12:23   And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified.

JOHN 12:27       Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.  28    Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, [saying], I have both glorified [it], and will glorify [it] again.

JOHN 16:25   These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father.  26    At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you:

JOHN 17:1    These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:

I JOHN 2:18     Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

REVELATION 3:10  Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.  11    Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

GENESIS 1:14   And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

ACTS 1:6    When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?   7    And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.

PSALMS 104:19     He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down.

DANIEL 2:21 And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:

MATTHEW 21:41  They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out [his] vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons.

PSALMS 1:3  And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

PSALMS 104:27  These wait all upon thee; that thou mayest give [them] their meat in due season.

ECCLESIASTES 3:1    To every [thing there is] a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:  2    A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up [that which is] planted;  3    A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;  4    A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;  5    A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;  6    A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away.  7    A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak.  8    A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

ISAIAH 50:4    The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to [him that is] weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.

MATTHEW 24:42      Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. 43    But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.  44    Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.  45    Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?   46    Blessed [is] that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.  47    Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.   48    But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;   49    And shall begin to smite [his] fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;  50    The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for [him], and in an hour that he is not aware of,   51    And shall cut him asunder, and appoint [him] his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

LUKE 1:19  And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings.   20    And, behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season.

LUKE 12:42 And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom [his] lord shall make ruler over his household, to give [them their] portion of meat in due season?

GALATIANS 6:9  And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

II TIMOTHY 4:2  Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.   3    For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;   4    And they shall turn away [their] ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
