“Wrong Word Wrong Seed”

1 Corinthians 2: 5That your faith should not stand in the
wisdom of men, but in the power of God. 6Howbeit we
speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor
of the princes of this world, that come to nought: 7But
we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto
our glory: 8Which none of the princes of this world
knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
This
evening I would like to take our text from this Scripture, because this
Scripture alone could contain many sermons that are most appropriate for this
end time that we live in. What I glean from this portion of scripture is the
thought that what word we receive is a reflection of what Seed we are.
Let
me explain, Paul begins by speaking here to the Corinthians letting us know
that our Faith or revelation should never be based on,... or in..., any man, or in any
wisdom of man, which means in any mans ability to explain...
or explain away Scripture. But rather our faith should stand only upon the Power of God he says. In other words, our Faith or revelation should stand upon vindication alone.
Then
Paul tells us next, that the wisdom we should trust is the wisdom of God which
is vindicated and this vindicated Wisdom or Message has been kept hidden since the beginning, but which
has been ordained before the World was framed for our Glory.
Now,
you should all know by now that this glory
he speaks of here is God's Doxa which is his opinions,
values, and judgments.
So
what Paul is telling us is here is that the hidden Wisdom or Word (Message)
which is to be revealed through vindication at the end time, is for one purpose
and that is to bring us into the Glory, the opinions, values and judgments of
God Himself. The Same Glory Jesus spoke of in John 17:22 which is to bring us into
Oneness with God.
And
we find Paul speaking here that in bringing us into this Glory, it will also manifest in our very lives, and
in our actions as well. But notice he speaks of those who reject this glory,
and thus the lack of this Glory reflects also in there lives through their
actions in that they actually crucified the Lord
of this Glory. Jesus the Son of God.
The Apostle Paul continues, 9 But
as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into
the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
10 But God hath revealed
them unto us by his Spirit: for The Spirit (which is God's Spirit, for there is only One THE
Spirit, so God's Spirit) searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. It
is God's Spirit that searches out the hearts of man, and that is a discerner of
the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Then Paul to affirm that only the Spirit of God can
reveal these things to us goes on to explain, 11 For what man knoweth the
things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so
(or in the same manner) the things of God
knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God knows.
Now,
every Bible reader ought to ask themselves right here, what does the Apostle
Paul mean by this? well, he goes on to explain...
12 Now
we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that (in order that) we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
So
Paul is saying it is impossible for any man that is not born again to
understand the things of God. That is why they crucified the Lord of Glory,
because they held to another Glory, a different value system, different
opinions, opinions of man rather than the opinions of God.
13 Which
things also we speak, not in the words
which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the
Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with
spiritual.
Notice
Paul says we don't come to you with other what other men have said, but we
bring to you only what God has said, which is God's glory, God opinions, God's
values and God's judgments. And they are not backed up by any man's wisdom of
ability to speak, but rather they are backed up by God actually vindicating
what we are telling you to be truth.
14 But
the natural man receiveth not the things
of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
So
Paul is laying out the case that the carnal man, the man that is void of the
Spirit of God can not in any way, shape or form understand the things of God,
because it takes the Holy Spirit, God's own Spirit living in you to quicken or
make alive His Word to you.
And I am convinced more than ever after our ministers
meeting last Saturday that ministers are more concerned with holding onto their
little territorial fiefdoms than they are interested in opening their hearts to
Divine revelation.
I have said before and I will say it again. If brother
Branham said he thought there would be one in a million that would make the
rapture, and in his day there were about 500 million Christians on earth out of
2.5 Billion people on earth, and so he thought there might be about 500 people
make the rapture. Well even by today's numbers of about 1.5 billion Christians
on earth or three times more than there were in his day, yet that would make
one in a million only about 1,500. That is not too many brothers and sisters?
And yet there are over 2 million people who claim to
believe the Message, but in reality a very few in number who actually can take
the Message back t the Bible. And yet
brother Branham said if he ever said anything outside of this Bible we should
not accept it.
Now in picking up where we
left off in brother Branham's sermon, It is the Rising of the Sun, (Son) we begin
to read from the next p0aragraph number 29 where brother Branham says...
29
We, as beneficiaries, are to prove His Life is in us now, the
beneficiaries of this Life. The Life... There never was a life lived like it; He
was the Son of God. And He died and that shut it out; but when He raised
again from the dead on Easter morning, then we, as His servants, are
commissioned by Him to go into all the world and to bring this good news to
every person: that He
is a-living. And how can we do it by word only? For it is
written, "The Gospel came not by word only, but
through the power and the manifestation of the Holy Spirit to prove that He is
alive."
And that is what we read for
our text this evening, showing that words of men fail, but we are not feeding
on the words of a man, we are feeding on the Word of God.
Then brother Branham goes on
to say in paragraph 30 Now, if there is another gospel, as Paul spoke
to one of the groups, "I am so surprised
that you turned to another gospel (which
there is no other but a make-believe gospel), to a denominational fiction,
turning from that good news: 'And because I
live, ye live also, and I live in you; and the works that I do (John 14:12), the works that I do
will identify Myself in you.'" Oh,
what a Message. No wonder we've had a dark world of theology. But in the evening
time there shall come Light again. There will be a resurrection in the evening
time. It shall be Light at the evening time.
Brother Branham explain this verse in his sermon Explaining the
ministry - 62-0129 9. And let's just search back. If that isn't Scriptural,
Then leave it alone. If I ever say anything in your presence, as
a doctrine or a teaching, that's not in the Bible, forget it, because it's not
right. And if any angel (I
don't care how real he looks, and how inspired he is), if
he speaks contrary to the Word of God, leave him
alone. He's
not of God. Galatians
1:8 said, "An angel from heaven preach any other
doctrine than this is, what already taught, let him be accursed."
We don't take nothing but just what God said...
Jehovah
Jireh - 56-0429 59. And the Bible said that Jambres and
Jannes would raise up in the last days and almost deceive the very elect. Be careful, brother, and Keep it right on the word of God.
Don't leave there. A whole lot of things today that's going on
that's not coming from that Word. And you leave it alone. Stay
with the Bible. 'Cause the Bible said it would deceive
the very elect if possible.
Jehovah
Jireh 1 - 64-0402 82 If it wasn't Written in the word
for this age, I'd walk away from it. Anything that's not in that
Word, I don't believe it. Now, I wouldn't accept it.
I don't say I wouldn't believe it, but I don't accept it. I don't understand it. But when
it's in this Word, and a promise for this age, I understand it.
Questions
and answers COD - 64-0823E 5 The only thing you can put
your trust in is THUS SAITH THE LORD from the Bible. Now, Church, that is exactly where I have
tried to keep you, my children. And if
something happens to me and God takes me out of this earth, don't you never
fail. Remember this with all your heart: stay with that Word. Don't
you leave that Word. Anything contrary to It, leave
it alone, no matter what it is. Then you know It's right. See?
Hidden
life in Christ - 55-1110 9. And I'm a fundamentalist. Everything must come from the Scripture. I
wouldn't say I wouldn't believe it, but I
wouldn't understand it just right if it wasn't from the Scripture.
And if any time, during the time of the phenomenal part of the healing
services, if any person, whatever you belong to, what church, if
you ever see anything that's questioned, and that we do here, and that's not in the Scripture, well, then
you come to me, because I certainly want to stay right in this Book. 'Cause
This is the Foundation. And all Scripture and all operations of the Holy Spirit must come from the Bible, then I
believe it. Now, He could do something that wasn't in the Bible. It'd still
be God. But I'll understand it better if
it comes right from the Bible. I kinda of like it that way, 'cause I know
that it's right then.
In Brother Branham's
sermon Spoken
word original seed 62-0318E P:79 Now, there is a womb of the
physical; there is a womb for the spirit. Did you believe that? There is a
spiritual womb and a physical womb. And the mind is the womb to the spirit. Why?
Now, remember, I told you last Sunday and drawed it out here for you. There's
five senses that enters this seed from the outside: see, taste, feel, smell,
and hear; five on the inside: conscience, and--and so forth, from the inside
five. Now, on the life side there's only one. That's you're on the basis of
free moral agency to accept, take in, or let out. See?
It is in the mind that thoughts are not only received,
but are conceived, and we know the word conceive means to be brought to life.
And remember, the womb is where the seed is planted
and comes to life. That is where life begins is in the womb. And so too that is
where the God-Life that comes from the Word of God is planted as well. Only The
Word is planted in the womb of the spirit which is the mind.
The place where the Seed Word life comes to life in the
womb of your Mind. And the five fold ministry has but one objective and that is
to get the Word of God in to your mind, so the Spirit of God can anoint what has
been sown in your mind, and then the life that is in that Word Seed will drop
down into your soul, making it a dynamic revelation which no one can ever take
away from you once it has been quickened.
And when you receive the Engrafted Word of God and are
born again, it takes over your natural spirit and begins to align your body
with the Mind of God. God will make your body obey your confession. And God’s
intent is that you see what He sees and you hear what He hears and you think
what He thinks. Let the mind that was in Christ be in you. And you
cannot do this without first receiving the spirit of God that you might have
the mind of God.
That is why your friends and family and the people of
the world can not understand what you understand concerning the Word of God.
That is why you see events differently than they see them. The Holy Spirit in
you alters your mind to think as God thinks,
and to see as he sees and to hear
as he hears. That explains a whole lot brothers and sisters of
the differences between us and others who cannot see this great revelation of
Christ, for we are a holy people, and to
them a peculiar people, but we are being conformed to the
image of the first born son.
The
Apostle Paul said in Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none rightly-wise, no, not one:
11 There is none that understands, there is none that seeks after God. 12 They are
all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none
that doeth good, no, not one. 13 Their throat is an open
sepulchre; with their tongues they have
used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: 14 Whose mouth is full of cursing and
bitterness: 15 Their feet are swift to shed blood: 16
Destruction and misery are in their ways: 17 And the way of peace have they not known:
18 There is no fear of God before
their eyes.
Now, in paragraph 80 of the Spoken word is the original seed brother
Branham says, 80 That's how adultery is committed spiritually.
When you, knowing better by the Word of
God, by the intercourse
of the mind, take in a lie of the devil against the Word of God:
that's exactly what Eve done. With a spiritual intercourse
first that come by believing Satan's lie into the womb of her mind, that
polluted her soul, set death in the soul; then the natural act taken place. And that's the only way
that a woman ever can commit adultery against her husband, is to first let some man talk her into it and
then receive another man that's not her husband. Then
she's committed adultery. And when the Bride of Jesus Christ lets manmade
creeds and dogmas take the place of the Word of God, she is committing
adultery.
So when you see a vindicated prophet teach that God is
the Father of Jesus Jesus and God are not one like your finger is one, and that
the body was no deity but deity dwelt in the body, and that in Jesus God
entered at the river Jordan and left him in Gethsemane, and thus Jesus was a
dual being, for God indwelt him. And when you turn that down you receive a
spirit of adulterous for you have left the Word. When you turn down John 14:12
you receive a spirit of adultery. When you have been presented the truth that
there is only One Lord and you continue to preach "Two or three Lords",
you have taken upon you a false seed, and thus you will receive a false nature,
And you have committed spiritual adultery, and eventually you will fall into
physical adultery.
Years ago when I attended a certain church in
Minnesota, the pastor was off the Word, and brother Vayle told me to be
watching for lies to come and then the gifts will become open in the church and
then adultery will take place within the church. And certainly those things
happened just like he told me they would.
I remember him telling me back then, “Brian, I’ve been preaching the Gospel for over 50 years
and I’ve never seen it fail. First they go off the word, then they open
themselves to tongues and gifts left unchecked, and then into sexual sin,
adultery.” And what he said actually took place in that church
just like he said it would. Why? Because that is what a vindicated prophet of
God is teaching us right here.
80 That's how adultery is committed spiritually.
When you, knowing better by the Word of God, by

first that come by believing Satan's lie into the womb of her mind, that polluted her soul, set
death in the soul; then the natural act taken place.
So you watch those boys who are fighting the doctrine
of Christ and John 14:12 and calling it heresy, watch their lives and you will
see that they will fall into sin, and will end up in adultery if they aren’t
already doing it right now. I don’t care how legalistic they might be it will
come to pass because that is what an a-vindicated prophet says right here.
Because they are now in spiritual adultery and that will follow into the
natural. The natural types the spiritual. So the natural will follow the
spiritual, that is the lesson brother Branham is teaching here.
Now, paragraph 81 Did not
Jesus say, "Whosoever looketh upon a woman has committed adultery with
her already in his heart, looketh upon a
woman to lust after her has committed
adultery with her already"? Why? He let it come into his mind. That's the womb; it starts the
things moving.
Isn’t that what we've also taught in The Garden of
Your Mind? Is not that what brother Branham taught you in The Greatest
Battle Ever Fought?
He continues saying, “Eve
took Satan's lie. Mary took
God's Word. And through Mary's seed
replenishes the earth again through His Bride, through the Word, and
will bring up the millennium. Through that goes forth the Word, and the Word is planted into every predestinated heart, and the Spirit comes down and waters it, and they cannot die.
"I'll
raise him up again at the last days." Oh,
brother and sister, that's real.

What is it? The mind is the womb for the spirit.
What? To take in or let out. That's how they commit adultery,
is taking, let some Satan devil spirit put in them something against the Word
of God; then she's committed adultery. Eve
received (Listen to this.) wrong seed word, Satan's lie, against Jehovah's Word: results was death.
Therefore, the wrong seed will produce wrong results,
every time. It has to because it is a seed, and thus a carrier of life.
Romans 10:1 ¶ Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to
God for
You see they had the Word presented to them, but they
chose to hold to their traditions over receiving the Word presented to them,
and when they turned down the Word they died right there.
And in this next verse Paul tells us what it is all
about. He says, 3 For they being ignorant of God's right-wise-ness, go about to establish their own right-wise-ness, in doing so, they have not submitted themselves unto the right-wise-ness of God.
In other words when you present truth to them from the
Bible or from a vindicated Prophet, and they choose rather to turn it down in
order to hold to their own thinking, when they do that they die right there. Now,
up until that time they might have been ok, but when they turn down vindicated
truth from this Bible or God's prophet they die the minute they choose to
willfully reject God's Word which is Life.
In our ministers meeting down in Bolivia I was sharing
the 8 facts as I call them where brother Branham lays out His understanding of
the Godhead. And one of the facts concerns Genesis 1:26.
26 And
God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have
dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the
cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth
upon the earth.
I showed them where God's prophet said, QA on Genesis COD 53-0729 P:7 Well now, if you'll notice close now, in Genesis 1:26, let's get the first part first. God said, "Let us..." Now, "let us," us is a... "Let us make man in our own image." Our, 'course, we realize
He's talking to someone; He was speaking to another being. "Let us make man in our own image after our likeness, and let
them have dominion over the cattles of the field." If you notice in creation,
the first thing that was created, of course, was light. You come on down
through the creation; the last thing was created was what? A man. And
woman was made after man. All right, the first... Last thing that was created
of God's creation is mankind. But when God made His first man, if you noticed, He
made him in the likeness of Himself; He was made in the image of God.
And what is God? Now, if we can find out what God is we can find what kind of a
man He made.
And I showed them also a quote from brother Branham in
his sermon ATTITUDE AND WHO IS GOD? 50-0815 018 There He puts the first Bible.
Oh, back in the days of--ancient days, they looked at those things. Today, He's got His Bible wrote here.
But He wrote It in the heavens, that man would look up and realize that Jehovah
the Creator lived above. And then I can see Him, He looked at that...I can see
Him speak to this world hanging there as an icicle, whatever it was, way away.
And He moved it over here. I can see this little Light go out. Now, WE GOT TWO
NOW. The Father, and out of the Father came the Light, the
Son. And
I can see that Light moving over here and pulled the earth over near the sun to
dry it off. And begin to...?... raise the water up, separating the land, earth
from the water, and so forth.
Now, at this point one
pastor spoke up and said, there are many quotes where brother Branham said
those were angels that God was talking too. Now, I do not care if a man says, I
always have believed it was angels. But when a man quotes a vindicated prophet
and lies about it, and places the lie into a plurality of times, ie: "many
times the prophet said it was angels", and I know that not one time the
prophet said that. Then I know the man just lied against the Holy Ghost because
God's prophet could never have said that because the Word of God is very plain.
Turn with me to
Genesis 1:26 and let's read this together. First of all God said, "Let us"
so it is talking about another being as brother Branham said, "Let us make man in our own
image."
Our, 'course, we realize He's talking to someone; He was speaking to another being. Notice again the Scripture, "Let us make man in our Image" So the one God
is talking to would have to be in the same image as God Himself in order for
God to say that to that being. Now for
someone to claim that was angels God was speaking to doesn't know the Bible
because the angels were not made in the image of God. Only Jesus Christ was made in the exact image
of God.
Hebrews 1:1 God, who at sundry times and in divers
manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2 Hath
in these last days spoken unto us in Son,
whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the
word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
So here it tells us Jesus Christ was made int he image
of God, as brother Branham explained the other quote I read, And He moved it over here. I can see this little Light go
out. Now, WE GOT TWO NOW. The Father, and out of the Father came the Light, the
Son. And
I can see that Light moving over here and pulled the earth over near the sun to
dry it off. And begin to...?... raise the water up, separating the land, earth
from the water, and so forth.
And that quote fits perfectly with Hebrews 1:2 by whom also he made
the worlds .
But the real key is the next verse, 4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained
a more excellent name than they.
Now, this versde tells us two things.
1) he was made in the
image of God which Paul adds Being made so much
better than the angels.
and 2) as he hath by
inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
Hebrews 1:5 For unto which of the angels said he at any
time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And
again, I will be to him a Father, and he
shall be to me a Son?
Ok, and that brings us
back to Genesis
1:27 So
God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him;
male and female created he them.
So in order to say this was God speaking to the angels
not only did the brother lie, when he said William Branham said it many times,
but he also showed he does not understand the scripture.
Now, I want to show you what happens when a person
does what this minister did.
Brother Branham said in his Church Age book, 355-4, 4 Laodicean Church Age - "Be zealous
and repent." Now this false church
has zeal; make no mistake about that. Her zeal has literally been that of
the Jews, John 2:17, "The zeal of thine
house hath eaten Me up." But it is a wrong zeal. It is for the
house of their own building. It is for their own creeds, dogmas, organizations,
their own righteousness. They have put the Word out for their own ideas. They
deposed the Holy Ghost and made men into leaders. They have put aside Eternal Life as a Person, and make it good works,
or even church conformity rather than good works. But God is calling for another zeal. It is
the zeal to cry "I AM WRONG". Now who is going to say that he is wrong? What is it
that all these denominations are based upon? The claim to originality, and that
of God, the claim that they are right. Now they ALL cannot be right. In fact NOT
ONE of them is right. They are whited sepulchres, full
of dead men's bones. They have no life. They
have no vindication. God has never made Himself known in any organization. They say they are right because they are the ones that
are saying it, but saying it does not make it so. They need the
vindicated "Thus saith the Lord"
of God, and they don't have it.

Resume of The Ages - CA Book Thus at this very moment we
are in the complete fulfillment of Matthew 24:24 "in so much that, if it
were possible, they shall deceive the very elect."
And who is it that shall attempt to deceive the very elect? Why, the spirit of
antichrist in the "false anointed
ones" of this last day. These false ones have already come in "Jesus' Name"
claiming that they have been anointed of God for the last day. They are the
false Messiahs (anointed ones). They claim that they are prophets. But are they
one with the Word? Never. They have added to it or taken
from it. No one denies that the Spirit of God manifesting in gifts
is upon them. But like Balaam they all have their
programs, make their appeal for money, exercise gifts, but deny the Word or
by-pass it for fear that a controversy might diminish their chances for greater
gain. Yet they preach salvation and deliverance through the
power of God, just like Judas, with a ministry imparted by Christ. But because they are wrong seed, consequently they have a
wrong spirit motivating them. Religious? Oh my! They outshine the
elect in effort and zeal, but it is Laodicean, not of Christ, for it looks for big crowds, big programs and startling signs
amongst them. They preach the second coming of Christ, but deny
the advent of the prophet-messenger, though in power and signs and true
revelation he eclipses them all. Ah yes, this false spirit that in the
last day is so close to the real, can be distinguished only by its deviation
from the Word, and whenever it is caught in being anti-Word, it
falls back on the one argument we have already shown to be false: "We get results, don't we? We have to be
of God."
And from his sermon, We Would See Jesus 57-0226 E-33
033 If any spirit doesn't follow the Scripture, it's a wrong
spirit. That's right. If it goes beyond this Bible,
it's a wrong spirit. If it doesn't get to it, it's a wrong spirit. See, if the devil can't keep you from seeing a truth, he will push you
overboard with it.
You see? That's his business. See? If he will go off onto some fantastic, or
either he will keep you from seeing it at all. But to stay right straight on
Baptism of the Holy Spirit 58-0928M 113 069 All in the little textbooks,
manmade theories, they put them down; "That's what we believe."
And that's the reason we stay away from it. We have no
textbook but the Bible, no leading, no bishop but the Spirit. That's
right. And then, if there's a wrong spirit that comes in will try
to twist something in there, the Word will untwist it. That's wrong; stay away from it. See?
Here come the Spirit along and say, "That's wrong," bears record... For our spirit bears record with His Spirit.
Here'll come one along saying, "Oh, we should... Well, I think it's all
right for them to do this, that, and the other." But the Spirit said, "There's something wrong with
that, goes right back in the Bible and brings her right down the way we do. And
it's wrong, stay away from it. That's the reason the Bible said,
"Here's to him that has wisdom;
here's to he that has knowledge; here's to him that has this,"
the church there setting in order. Don't you see the great plan of God?
Without Money Without Price 59-0802 And we won't receive
it, is because we're dominated by the wrong spirit. We're dominated by a
spirit of a nation, the spirit of the world, instead of being dominated by the
Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit, that leads us and guides us to all truths, and
makes the Bible so.
SuperSign 59-1227M "Every spirit that
does not confess this, is the wrong spirit, the antichrist. Every
spirit that doesn't witness this same thing, that Christ has come in our flesh, is the antichrist spirit."
Oh, listen. some believe only William Branham had the
Holy spirit in Him. And to say so, they have to deny that the Holy Spirit is
for all who believe.
And for those who say it is not necessary to live the
life, they drink alcohol and say, "some do and some don't" but
brother Branham said, Unchangeable God
62-0120- if you claim you've had the Holy Spirit and had the
experience, and then your life don't tally up to
God's Word, then you got the wrong spirit (See?),
And in his sermon, Conference with God
59-1220M P:80 I condemn that devil in you that makes you drink alcohol. Go
home in the Name of Jesus Christ and never drink it again, be baptized in His
precious Name, taking away the sins. And I condemn the devil, may he pass from
you. Amen. Go home. God bless you, sir. Your sins are forgiven now. Go, and sin
no more. Have faith in God. Don't doubt. Believe with all that is in you.
At thy
Word Lord 54-0221 P:33 Smoking, drinking, gambling, committing adultery,
and stealing, lying, and so forth is not sin; it's the attributes of
sin. You do that
because you're an unbeliever, ...
Seal of
God 61-0216 P:43 All right, the Holy Spirit doesn't take in just any kind of a wife,
doesn't take in somebody
that smokes, and somebody that drinks, and somebody that lives immoral, and

you love the world, the things of the world, the love of God is not even in you."
What Holy
Ghost was given for 59-1217 P:61 It's to quit
making you smoke, and drink, and want to be a big shot. It'll take that out
of you. It'll humble you when you do that. That's what the Holy Ghost is
for. It's
for a holy life (That's right.): make you quit gossiping; make
you quit playing cards, shooting craps, and all these other things that you do
around the corner. It'll make you quit your carrying on the way you're doing,
living untrue to your wife. That's what It'll do. That's right. It'll quit
making you want to marry somebody else's wife. That's exactly right. That's
what It is. It's to
make you live a holy life. That's what the Holy Ghost is power
for, to set your affections on things
above where God stands at the...?... The mind of Christ in you. You can't help from seeing those things. When
you look at them, you turn your head. That's right. It's to make you...You
say, "I can't do it. Oh, I just can't do it." Sure, you can't. But
the Holy Spirit come for that purpose. That's what It did. It come to take it
out of you, all of them old habits and things that you're doing. That old back
biting, separating yourself, saying, "Bless God, I'm a Methodist. I
won't have nothing to do with them old holy-rollers." The Holy Ghost
come to take that out of you.

It's got to come from the inside, which is the Word from the beginning. In the
beginning of the creation of God when God begin to create and bring you into
existence... You see, you started back there as a seed and worked down to where
you are now. And then you were all in Christ. Then when Christ died, He died to
redeem all of you. And you are part of
this Word. And how can the Bible, all of it precept upon precept, line upon
line, here a little, there a little, not one jot or tittle shall fail... How in
the world can you, being part of that Word, disagree with the rest of it, or any part of it?

Laodicean Church Age CAB Chapter 9 Now God says they are naked
as well as blind. I cannot imagine anything as tragic as a man who is blind and
naked and does not know it. There is only one answer, he is out of his mind. He
is already deep in oblivion. His faculties are gone, spiritual amnesia has set
in. What else can it mean? Can it mean that the Holy Spirit has taken His leave
of this last day church? Can it mean that men have put God out of their minds
to such an extent that it is happening even as stated in Romans 1:28.
"And even as they did not like
to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do
those things which are not convenient." It surely appears that
something like that has happened. Here is a people who say that they are of God
and know God and have His Holy Spirit, and yet they are naked and blind and
don't know it. They are ALREADY
DECEIVED. THEY HAVE THE
WRONG SPIRIT. THE ELECT CANNOT BE DECEIVED, BUT IT IS EVIDENT THAT
THESE OTHERS ARE. These are they who have become blind because they refused the
Word of God. These are they who have stripped themselves naked by leaving God's
care and protection and sought to build their own way of salvation, their own
Luke
6: 39 And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the
blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch?
Now that is an excellent question. And then a few
verses later after speaking this parable in a question format, Jesus continues
to speak as we pick up at verse LUKE 6:40 The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect (mature)
shall be as his master. Now, this word perfect comes from
a Greek word that does not mean perfect as though you have reached some sort of
a perfect state where you make no error. But the word simply means to equip.
Therefore we should read this statement
that Jesus is making here as thus: LUKE 6:40 The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is
equipped by His master shall be as his master. And why is that?
Because it really does matter what teacher teaches you. If you sit under a
false teacher, you will hear false teaching, and thus your mind will be filled
with error.
As the Apostle Paul said in ROMANS 10:13-17 For whosoever
shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Ok, so
that is the fact, that is the statement right there.)
Then he adds, 14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not
believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and
how shall they hear without a preacher? 15 And how shall they preach, except
they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach
the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! 16 But they have
not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our
report? 17 So then faith [cometh] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Martin Luther in his comments on these verses said, "Even though they say
they hear, they boast in vain, unless they hear true preachers;
for to hear false prophets means as much
as not to hear. They hear and they do not hear. They have ears, but do not hear, nor do they preach
The True Word of God. There
are four statements which follow one another is such as way that one leads to
the other, but so that the last forms the foundation on which the others rest.
Thus,...
1.
It is impossible that those preach who are not sent.
2.
It is impossible that those hear who are without a preacher.
3.
It is impossible that they believe who do not hear.
4.
It is impossible that they call upon Him who do not believe. to this must be
added a fifth.
5.. it
is impossible that they who do not call upon the name of the lord shall be
saved.
So,
then, the entire source and origin of salvation rests on this, that God sends out someone, (a true minister of the Word). If He does not send out any,
then they who preach, preach falsely, and their preaching is no preaching at all.
In fact, it would be better for them not to preach. Then
also, they who hear, hear error, and
it would be better for them not to hear. Then also they who believe, would believe
false doctrine, and it would be better for them not
to call. For such preachers, do not preach;
such hearers do not hear; such believers do not believe; such callers do not call; they will be damned because they would be
saved by falsehood. As we read in Proverbs
1:28 "Then shall they call upon me, but I will not
answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: for that they
hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the Lord".
Then only they can preach with certainty who preach without error."
Now, we know what Paul said in Romans 10,
and we know what he said in 2 Corinthians 11, and again in the book of Galatians,
that if they receive a wrong word, then they will receive a wrong
spirit. How then can we think that anyone who sits under a wrong
ministry and has a wrong conception of the message has a right spirit, which is
the Holy Spirit?
A wrong conception is a wrong quickening to life. Conception means to
quicken to life.
We know Peter said, in 1 Peter 1:23 that "we are born again, not by a corruptible seed, but by an incorruptible
seed, by the Word of God which Lives and Abides forever."
And Jesus told us that the Sower sowed a seed which is
the Word of God. And that seed will produce a life according to the law of
reproduction, which states, "Every seed must
bring forth after it's own nature."
Then to receive a wrong Word is to receive a wrong seed, and
therefore must produce a wrong spirit or a wrong life. How can it be any
other way.
Did you know that brother Branham said we must have a
right teaching in order to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit? To receive
the Seal of God? And if you don't receive the seal of God there is only one
seal left and that is the seal of satan, which is the mark of the beast.
