worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before

Now, what is this distress
of nations and why is it so perplexing? This is what we must know if we are to
understand why everyone on earth is going to be affected. The word distress is a Greek word, sunoche
which means: a narrowing, a constraining or a press. To hold together with
constraint. To press on every side,
like the forcing a ship into a
narrow channel or the forcing of an animal into a position where it can not
move so the farmer can administer medication. To impel. From this we can see that the whole world is
being pushed or squeezed into a
universal condition from all sides in order to receive the medication called
the New World Order. And then we see
that the world will be perplexed by this Squeeze. And the word perplexed means that they are confused and don’t
understand what is really happening and thus begin to panic. (Remember that
Brother Branham said that the world must come into a neurotic condition, and
the first stage of this neurosis is anxiety which is to worry about what might

nation, but all of them. And there's no way ever getting it back. And it's a trap set exactly to swing this
nation into something. And all of you are wise on that. Well, who's got the
wealth of the world? Who holds it? [Someone says, "Rome."--Ed.] Sure,
it does. Rome holds it. And whenever we do, when we get broke, instead of these
big merchants tobacco, whiskey, and so forth, like have to get the money; what
we'll have to do, either change the currency or borrow the money. And when they

the Scripture says about it. I'd like
to get a place sometime, the Lord willing, when a tent comes on the scene. And
I believe that's soon now, soon I'm going worldwide. I got a worldwide meetings
coming now. And I--I'd like to get a place where I could set down for about six
weeks, and just take those things and go through them (You see?), back and forth, through the Scripture. And it's astounding to see the hour that
we're living in. It frightens me. It frightens me, not because... In my heart,
the joy bells are ringing, knowing that the coming of the Lord is so close at
hand. But what frightens me, is to know
that so many is unprepared for the hour that we are facing. That's the bad
part. How many ever heard the story about the squirrels up there that time?
Many, all, of course, I guess, everywhere. A little something like that
happened the other day. And I was... You've heard the story about the
mountains, coming down, when the Lord wrote those things on the mountains the
other day. My, my life... I'm not a
preacher. Anybody knows that. I'm not a preacher. But it's made up in a--a spiritual form of--of watching things and seeing
things move, and forewarning people of things that's coming to pass. And it's
just that's my makeup. I can't help that, no more than you can help your
makeup. But He--God has put us each one in the Body to do certain things. And I watch every little move, every
objective, every motive, 'cause everything is governed by spirit. This church was put here for a purpose.
There's a spirit behind this church. Certainly. Spirit behind your home, behind
every building, behind everything there
is a spirit, motive, and objective. This church comes here to greatly exalt
some human system or something, then its motives is not right; but if it's put
here to try to achieve something for the Kingdom of God, then the motive and
objective both is right, if the motives is directed that way. (

The First Seal 63-0318 Now, watch. In the end time,
not in the early days when Christ was preaching, but in the end time, the last
part of the week, where we just took the seventy weeks of Daniel; and Christ
has prophesied for the three and a half years, and three and a half years are
yet determined. Is that right? And this prince in that time is to make a
covenant with Daniel's people, which is the Jews. That's when the Bride's taken

week, the people makes a covenant--this prince makes a covenant with Rome;
makes a covenant with them no doubt for the wealth, for Catholic and Jew holds
the wealth of the world. I was in the
Vatican. I've seen the triple crown.. {346} I got to go all through the
Vatican. Why, you couldn't buy it with a hundred billion billion dollars. Note: [that was at the rate of $30 per oz. In the 60Æs. Today gold is
12 times greater in value at $360 per oz. Therefore, a billion billions would
be 1 quadrillion. Multiply it times the difference between 30 and 360 plus the
inflation factor and you have something in the 108 quadrillion range.] Why, you... And just think, "The wealth of the world,"
the Bible said, "was found in her."
All... Just think of the great places, the billions times... Why did Communism
raise up over here in Russia? It just makes me sick at my stomach to hear so
many preachers hollering about Communism, and they don't even know what they're
crowing about.
That's right. Communism ain't nothing. It's a tool in the hand of God
to bring revenge upon the earth for the blood of the saints that... That's
right. {349} And after the church is
taken away, Rome and the Jews will make a covenant with one another. The Bible
said they would, with the holy people. And now notice, they'll make it, because
why? This nation is going to be busted, and the rest of the world that's on the
gold standard is busted. You know that. If we're living off of taxes, due bills
for forty years from now, where are we at? There's only one thing can happen.
That's to call in the currency and pay off the bonds; and we can't do it. Wall
Street owns them, and Wall Street's controlled by the Jews; the rest of it's in
the Vatican, and the Jews has got the rest of it in Wall Street with the
commerce of the world. {350} We can't
call it in. And if we could do it, do you think these whiskey guys and--and all
these tobacco people with billions times billions of dollars a year and write
off all their income tax for old vulgar pictures and things like that--go out
in Arizona there and buy millions of acres of land--or thousands--and dig them
big wells at fifty thousand dollars and pay it off with income tax? And they'd
put you in jail if you don't pay yours. But they write it off and throw up
wells and send bulldozers in. And
what do they do? They put housing projects in there, and the next turn around
with their money they made (they have got to make an investment) and put
houses, projects in there and sell them for millions of dollars. Do you think
them guys is going to compromise to change the currency? {352}
Like this fellow down here, Castro did. He done the only smart thing he
ever did do then, when he destroyed the bonds: paid them off and destroyed
them. Notice, but we can't do that. These guys won't let us. The rich merchants
of the earth hold it, and then there's only one thing to do: The Catholic church
can pay it off. She's the only one that's got the money; she can do it, and she
will do it. And in doing this to get
it, she'll compromise with the Jews and make a covenant, and when she makes
this covenant with the Jews... Now, remember, I'm taking this from the
Scriptures. And now, when she does this and makes this covenant, we notice in
Daniel 8:23 and 25 he will cause craft to prosper (And craft is
manufacturing.), in his hand. {354} And he makes this covenant with the Jews,
and in the midst of this three and a half years, he breaks his covenant as soon
as he gets the thing wrapped up and gets the money of the Jews tied up. And
when he does that, oh, my, oh, my, he's called the antichrist until the end of
the church age, for he and his children are against Christ and the Word. This
man's called the antichrist. Now, he's going to hold the money. And that's
where I think he'll come in. Just a minute, while I say this, then I want to go
back to it in a minute. He's called the
antichrist and will be called the antichrist in the sight of God until the end
time. Now, but then he'll be called something else. {359} Now, when he gets the money all under
control, then he'll break this covenant with the Jews, as Daniel here said he
would do it, in the midst of the last half of the seventy weeks of Daniel.
And then, brother, what will he do? He will have all of the world trade
and the commerce, a pact with the world, 'cause he'll hold the wealth of the
world completely. And during that time,
them two prophets will rise on the scene and call that hundred and forty-four
thousand. Then what'll take place? Then
the mark of the beast of Revelations 13 will set in, 'cause he holds all the
commerce, trade and everything of the world. And what will take place then? The
mark of the beast will come in that no man can buy or sell except him that has
the mark of the beast. Thank God, the Church will be enjoying a great three and
a half years in glory. Don't have to go through that.
E-26 026 You see, if Satan has a kingdom,
he's got to have a false economy.
He's got to have something that he can present to them to make them think they
are living. But it's absolutely on the vice versa side. It's death in the form
of life.
6-1 Look Away To Jesus 63-1229E So now, I am going to say something to you
now, that I haven't said all along. And that is, the thing that we have looked
forward to for so long, or at least many years, four or five years or maybe
longer, the third pull has now been vindicated, and I'm sure you all know what
it is. Now, remember, there'll never be
any impersonation of that, 'cause it can't be. It cannot be. Now, it's in
existence, and I am warned of this, that soon, right at this time now, it's
just happened, so it could identify its presence among you. See? But it will
not be used in a great way, until this council begins to tighten up. And when
it does, when that does... The Pentecostals and so forth can almost impersonate
anything could be done, but when that time comes, when the squeeze comes down, then you'll see what you have seen
temporarily, be manifested in the fullness of its power. See? Now, I must continue in evangelism, just as
I was commissioned first; I must continue on. Therefore, you've had the Word,
and you know what to look for, how to stand. I must continue on in
evangelism. And friends of mine, keep still and just keep moving on, for the hour is approaching swiftly (See?), that
when something is going to be done.
Now, you might see some little odd things happen from me, nothing
sinful, I don't mean that, but I mean something odd to what the regular trend,
because what I have reached to now in the ministry, I'm dropping back here,
watching that spot and waiting for the time to use it. But it's going to be used. And everyone knows that for as certain
as the first was identified, so has the second been identified; and if you'll
think real closely, you who are spiritual (as the Bible said, "Here's to
him who has wisdom.") the third is
properly identified. See? We know
where it is. So the third pull is
here. It is so sacred that I
mustn't not say much about it, as He told me in the beginning. Said,
"This, say nothing of it." You remember that years ago? It speaks for Itself. See? But I've
tried to explain the others, and I made a mistake. This will be the thing that, to my opinion (I don't say the Lord
tells me this.)--this will be the thing
that will start the rapturing faith for the going away. See, see? Now, I
must lay quiet for just a little while.
Now, remember (and who's listening
to this tape) you might see such a change in my ministry right away,
dropping back... Not going up, dropping back... We're right at the age now, and it can't go any further. We
have to wait here just a minute until this happens over here to catch up, then the time comes. But it's thoroughly identified. There's
coming a time--in this nation, to where
this nation is going to exercise all the power that the beast had before
(which was pagan Rome, when it become papal Rome. See?) that this nation will do
that. Revelations 13 plainly explains it. The lamb came up out of the earth.
The other beast came up out of water, thickness and multitudes of people. This
lamb came up where there was no people.
A lamb represents religion--the Lamb of God. And remember, it spoke like
a lamb; it was a lamb, and then after while it received power and spoke like a
dragon, and exercised all the power the--the dragon--power the dragon had
before him; and the dragon is Rome always. So don't you see, Roman
denomination, a marked Protestant denomination, an image unto the beast, making a power that'll force all
Protestants like a union. You'll have to be into this council of churches,
or you won't be able to have fellowship ...
Well, it's practically that way now. You can't go to a church and
preach, 'less you have a fellowship card or some identification. And now, on
persons like ourselves, we're going to be cut out of all that altogether.
That's exactly, because they won't be able to do it. It's tightening; and then
when that time comes, and the press
comes to a place to where you're pressed out, then watch (what I am fixing to tell you in a few minutes) watch the third pull then. It'll be
absolutely to the total lost, but it
will be for the Bride and the church. Now, we're closer than it seems to be. I don't know when, but it's real, real, close. I may be
building a platform for somebody else to step on. I may be taken before that time. I don't know. And that time may be
this coming week that the Holy Spirit will come with--and bring Christ Jesus.
He may come this next week. He may come yet tonight. I don't know when He will
come. He doesn't tell us that. But I do believe that we are so close, that I
would never die with old age. Yet at
fifty-four years old, I'd never die with old age until He's here. See? Unless I am shot, killed, or something, or
other, some way killed; just old age wouldn't kill me, until He's come. And I
believe that... And I want to say this; I have never said it before, but
according to Scripture, according to
what He said thirty years ago, thirty-three years ago on the river down there
(in 1933, rather), what He said,
everything has happened just exactly. I may not do it, but this message will introduce Jesus Christ to the world.
"For as John the Baptist was sent to forerun the first coming, so is the
message to forerun the second coming." And John said, "Behold the
Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world." See? So it paralleled
it in every way, and I know it will. The message will go on.
57-1 STATURE OF A PERFECT
MAN 62-1014M this present government now
is spending money for what? For tax money that they'll be collecting forty
years from now. She's done. That's "Life Line" right out of
Washington D.C., across the nation. Taxes, they're spending and trying to buy
foreign... Why, they're just giving it out any way. Don't you see, that's
exactly what they're going to do? See, what is it? Now, if this nation goes
busted, the only thing it can do is go busted. The only thing that it can do is go bankrupt. That's the only
sensible thing to do: change the currency. But they won't do it. Under this
present ministration, Roman Catholic church owns the gold of the world, and
what they'll do is sell out. These rich men and so forth of the earth, as the
Bible said, what will they do before
they lose the Brown and Williamson tobacco company (Most all of them's
Catholic anyhow.), and all these other things, what will they do? They'll
accept that and they'll take the money from Rome, and then she's sold her very
birthright. Rome backs her up. Yes, sir.
She'll back it up. And they're
getting enough policy now, getting enough around them, bring it in his cabinet. Look what Mr. Kennedy's asking for.
And when you seen this the other day... There's no need of voting any more.
What's the use of voting? When they put it in the paper and proved it before
the public, and they refused to do anything about it; when they proved that the
machines across the nation was set up, that they elected Mr. Kennedy by a false
vote. Don't the Bible say that he would come in by deceit? A falsehood. Now, I'm not against the Democrat party no
more than a Republican party, but I'm just stating facts from the Bible. What's
the use of voting? They know who's going in there.
313-2 Philadelphian Church Age CA Book "I will keep thee from
the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that
dwell upon the earth." This verse is not a declaration that the true
church will go into and through the tribulation. If it meant that it would have
said that. But it said, "I will keep thee from the hour of
temptation." This temptation is exactly like the temptation in Eden. It
will be a very inviting proposition held up in direct opposition to God's
commanded Word, and yet from the standpoint of human reasoning it will be so
very right, so enlightening and life-giving as to fool the world. Only the very
elect will not be fooled. The temptation will come as follows. The ecumenical
move that has started on what seems such a beautiful and blessed principle
(fulfilling Christ's prayer that we all might be one) becomes so strong
politically that she bears pressure upon the government to cause all to join
with her either directly or through adherence to principles enacted into law so
that no people will be recognized as actual churches unless under direct or
indirect domination of this council. Little groups will lose charters,
privileges, etc., until they lose all property and spiritual rights with the
people. For example, right now unless the local ministerial association
approves in many, if not most cities, one cannot rent a building for religious
services. To become chaplains in the armed services, hospitals, etc., it is now
almost mandatory to be recognized as acceptable to the trinitarian ecumenical
groups. As this pressure increases, and it will, it will be harder to resist,
for to resist is to lose privilege. And so many will be tempted to go along,
for they will feel it is better to serve God publicly in the framework of this
organization than not to serve God at all publicly. But they err. To believe
the devil's lie is to serve Satan, even though you may want to call him
Jehovah. But the elect will not be deceived.
Furthermore, the elect will not only be kept, but as this move becomes
the "Inage erected to the beast," the saints will be gone in the
rapture. And this little delightful, winsome movement that started out in
fellowship at Ephesus will become the monster of Satan that defiles and
deceives the whole world. For the church system of the Roman Catholic and the
Protestant in coming together will control the whole wealth of the world system
and force the whole earth into its religious trap, or will kill them, by
refusing them the privilege of buying and selling whereby they would make a
living. This will be accomplished
simply, for the harlot's daughters are all but gone back to her. In the
meantime, Rome has acquired nearly all the supplies of gold. The Jews have the
bonds and all the paper. At the right
time, the harlot will destroy the present day money system by calling in all
the paper, and demanding gold. With no gold, the system falls. The Jews will be
trapped and come into the alliance, and the harlot church will take over the
whole world.
Christ is the Mystery

all the ecumenical moves you want to and all the affiliations. And they're
going to bring a persecution on pretty soon and shut up all the churches. You see that. And churches like this who's not in denominations, they'll use them for
storehouses then. And if any man goes and offer a prayer for anybody else
that don't belong to the economical movement will be shot on the spot. It's

down and dying out, acting the same way they did when they first got born at
the day of Pentecost, same kind of a church down there... They'll be closed and
shut out under the Federation of Churches. It'll be a boycott like a union or
something. You'll either come in or you'll go out. 074 The mark of the beast is on today, and
the--the Seal of God is the Holy Spirit. To reject It is the mark of the
beast. Ever who sees the Holy Ghost,
that you're supposed to receive It, and don't do it, automatically you take the
mark of the beast; because there's only two classes to exist: all that didn't
have the Seal of God had the mark of the beast. So to receive the Seal of God
is to receive the Holy Ghost. To reject It is to have the mark of the beast.
There's the whole thing. That's exactly right.

American. But yet, what happened to our American heritage. What was it? We
begin to compromise. And as soon as we compromised, we lost the sacredness of
our heritage, because we compromised. We run Presidents four times; that breaks
down the the--the--the constitution. And we do things today. And we even... To
this little parking meter we have on the street, that's unconstitutional.
There's no such a thing in the constitution. It's against the constitution, yet
we do it. And we do all kinds of things that's against the principles that this
nation was founded upon. We do everything contrary, so we lose our heritage.
Because why? We compromise upon the principles that it was based upon.

which I do think it's the best form of government. But still, our democracy is
shaky, because we are... This nation, our people, we have a constitution and
this constitution is--is our ultimate. But yet in that, our constitution is
shaky because it's already been broken many times. The late Mr. Roosevelt made
havoc out of it. So, see, you see it can be broken. It's not much confidence
you can put into it. Politics, oh, my, how shaky... People just argue, and
argue, and argue about politics. And neighbors will fall out about it, and
people that were once good friends... Some president will raise up, or somebody
run for the sheriff, or something, and the other fellow on the other side of
the political fence, and they'll fuss with one another until they fall out
about it. Politics... And I don't... I hope I don't hurt anybody's feelings,
but I think the whole thing's rotten. Yes, sir. So why would you fuss and fall
out about something that ain't no good anyhow? That's right. It's just awful
bad.

wonder tonight, if Christ would come on the scene, or over the nation today, in
drawing this nation to judgment, if that same question wouldn't been asked. Why
is it, is it? Why is it we're doing these things? Why are we fussing in the
government, whether we should read the Bible in public, and, why, if we're
reading all this nonsense? Did not our forefathers set this constitution in
order? Did not this nation be born upon the principles of the Bible? Aren't we
here for freedom of religion, to act in God the way we feel fit to act, the way
that we are convinced is truth? But, you see, we have done something like they
did then. We're just letting everything, politics swallow us up, in the stead
of respecting our faith in our God, and men who has stood for truth. And we are
letting our politics run over that, and voting in such stuff that's polluting
this nation, and why, we are coming to a judgment. God will rise on the scene
someday with a mighty prophet, speak in this generation, and--and tell people,
and they'll see that it's God speaking, but they won't repent. It'll be just
like it was then. He said, "Is there no God in Israel? Is it because there
is--is no God?" Same as Jeremiah said, "Is there no balm in Gilead?
Is there no physician there?" Then they--they could not answer that.
'Course there was. Well, He said, "Then, why, why did you do it? Why is
the daughter of My people not healed?" Now, we wonder that tonight. Why?
Is there no Bible? Is there no God? Is there no difference? If God is going to
bring the people to judgment, He has got to have something to judge them by.
There's got to be some standard. If He's going to judge them by the Catholic
church; then if they judge them by the Roman church, the Greek church is lost,
the other Catholic churches are lost. If He judged it by the Greek, the Roman's
lost. If He judged it by the Lutheran, the Methodist is lost. If He judged it
by the Methodist, the Lutheran's lost. He can't judge it by a church; there's
too many different organizations of it. But God will judge the world, He said,
by Jesus Christ. And Jesus Christ is the Word, and the Word is God. And He'll
judge them by this Bible, for this is the Word. That is God's Standard. We must
measure up to what the Bible says. And we wonder why we got so much confusion,
so many organizations, so much differences, separating brotherhood, and--and
everything. It's because there is no Balm in Gilead? Is it because there's no
physician there? I wonder if God would ask us that question?

nationalized that "guard" and sent those men right back into the face
of their own fathers, standing there under the constitution; that broke the

lewd bunch... That's exactly right. The whole world is swallowed up in
ignorance of the Bible. The--the whole world has turned from God. But just
think, right out of the midst of all that, and the church denominations and all
their seminary lewdness and everything, God has took His prophet's Word and
chopped out a Bride...?... He said He would do it. He's hewed from that thing
what He promised He'd do. They depend on their human intelligence, their human
science, and so forth, left God out, whom he once trusted. The United States
has left God out. They even turned Him out of school, for our little children
can't even hear about Him. They've turned Him out of school. Now, they're
trying to turn Him off the dollars, "In God We Trust." They're going
to turn it out of the pledge allegiance to the flag. One Nation Under God;
they're going to turn that out. See,
they've went to their own feelings and their own senses. Because in the last
seventy-five years he hasn't changed a bit in his senses; he's still the same
man God created him in the beginning. But in this last days, can't you
recognize where we are? And the church has turned from God to that, to the
seminary, and experience, and so forth, instead of the Word. Don't even
recognize Him in their meetings, in their schools, or nothing anymore. Israel in
the past twenty-five years has recognized something has brought them to the
homeland as was promised. They don't know how it was ever done. They suffered
like everything, martyrdom under them Trumpets; but they're in their homeland.
They don't know why.

E-16 016 And we wonder sometimes
when we preached, and prayed, and fasted, and cried, and then seen the results
of a revival. Then to see the wicked cities just turn their back and make fun
of it. Newspapers blast it as fanaticism. Don't think it's strange, because
it's happened all through the ages. Go away and say some great vulgar name
about them, or call them some kind of a name that they should not be called.
Just something to make light of the works of God. So the reason I say this,
that men and women who believe God, and has seen the working of God; and we
wonder why Chicago don't have a revival; that's the answer. Chicago will never
have a revival... Or America will never have a revival until God sends it. And
He's shook this nation with signs and wonders and miracles, and they constantly
walk away from it, and the same motive that Jezebel had. "I'd cut their
heads off, I'd close their churches," if they could do it. We still have
constitutional rights. Law keeps these doors open now with constitutional
rights.

have we done? We've broke every Constitutional law that they can break, and
soon the Federation of Churches, which all the churches and denominations are
invited into, and the Devil's got in and making worldliness and everything in
local church members and so forth like that, and great congregations, and
class, and society, when the little old church is still down yonder being
borned again in a mess like any birth is, still paying the price, still getting
down and dying out, acting the same way they did when they first got born at
the day of Pentecost, same kind of a church down there... They'll be closed and
shut out under the Federation of Churches. It'll be a boycott like a union or
something. You'll either come in or you'll go out. 074 The mark of the beast is on
today, and the--the Seal of God is the Holy Spirit. To reject It is the mark of
the beast. Ever who sees the Holy Ghost, that you're supposed to receive It,
and don't do it, automatically you take the mark of the beast; because there's
only two classes to exist: all that didn't have the Seal of God had the mark of
the beast. So to receive the Seal of God is to receive the Holy Ghost. To
reject It is to have the mark of the beast. There's the whole thing. That's
exactly right.
