Satan’s
Eden no 1
God’s
Word is our defense

Kocourek, Pastor
This
morning we will begin another study and this one will be from br. Branham’s
sermon Satan’s Eden, and I believe it will be a timely series for the hour is
late, and the nations have shut off the Light of the glorious Gospel from the
people, and sometime soon God’s Message of Mercy will turn to judgment, if that
has not already begun.
So
let us bow our heads in prayer and instead of myself praying I will read from
brother Branham’s opening prayer.
1 Let us bow. Dear God, we're grateful
to You tonight for this grand opportunity to come again in the Name of the Lord
Jesus, to meet our enemy, Your enemy out here on the field of
battle with the Word to drive him away from the midst of Your
people, that they might see
tonight, Lord, the Gospel Light. I
pray that You'll anoint our eyes with the eye-salve that it might be opened to the Truth; that we might leave here, saying within our
hearts. "Did not our hearts burn within us as He
spoke to us along the road."
Heal the sick and afflicted. Encourage the discouraged. Lift
up the feeble hands that once hung down. May we look to the
coming of the Lord Jesus, which we believe is at hand. We ask this in
Jesus' Name. Amen. Be seated.
Now,
in this first paragraph brother Branham spoke words which were actually quoting
scripture from several different places and passages of the Bible.
In
the first place when he mentioned our using the Word of God to stand up against
the enemy, he is paraphrasing and not specifically quoting Scripture, where
Jesus used the Word to combat Satan, where Satan would quote the Word of God
and Jesus would say “it is also written.”
This showing us how to take on the devil ourselves for Christ was our example.
Luke
4:1 And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost
returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, 2 Being forty days tempted of the devil. And
in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward
hungered. 3 And the
devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it
be made bread. 4 And Jesus
answered him, saying, It is written, That “man
shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.” 5 And the devil, taking him up into an high
mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. 6 And the devil said unto him, All this
power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me;
and to whomsoever I will I give it. 7 If thou therefore wilt worship me, all
shall be thine. 8 And Jesus answered and said
unto him, Get thee
behind me, Satan: for it is
written, “Thou shalt worship the
Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.”
Now, the devil is not a stupid man, so
he learns from Jesus defeating his temptations thus far by the Word, so he uses
the Word to try to get Jesus away from the Word and so he says to Jesus in : 9…
9 And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set
him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God,
cast thyself down from hence: 10 For it
is written, “He shall give his angels charge over thee,
to keep thee: 11 And in
their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any
time thou dash thy foot against a stone.”
Now, notice Satan’s temptation is not
according to Scripture, but he uses Scripture not properly divided in order to
try to persuade Jesus.
The reason why I say Satan’s temptation
was not according to Scripture is because according to the Scripture he quotes,
it never says to put God to the test. It simply says in Psalms 91:11 “For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee
in all thy ways. 12 They shall bear thee
up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against
a stone.
But Jesus does not fall for this trick
and uses Scripture rightfully divided to counter the use of Scripture wrongly
by the devil.
12 And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, “Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God”. 13 And when the devil had ended all the
temptation, he departed from him for a season.
Notice Jesus quotes Deuteronomy 6:16 where Moses said, “Do not put the Lord your God to the test as you did at
Massah” And Jesus said, It is said, “Thou shalt not tempt
the Lord thy God.
Now, notice what Jesus said to him. He
basically said do not put God to the test, for God is not obligated to change
the laws of Gravity just because someone decides to jump off a cliff. God is
not obligated to save someone just for the sake of saving that person from
harm. God has laws, and those laws must be obeyed. For the Law of the Lord is
the Word of God. And God’s actions are governed by His own laws that God has
already established, and He won’t change those laws because you want to put him
to the test. In fact you are not supposed to test the Lord as we heard Jesus
tells satan.
14 And Jesus returned in the power of the
Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region
round about. 15 And he
taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.
Now, what do you suppose he taught in
their synagogues? He read the Scriptures to them and then he expounded upon
what he read. That is the pattern for every minister of every age as we will
show you this morning.
16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been
brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath
day, and stood up for to read.
And what do you suppose he read to them?
He read to them from the Word of God as All prophets and Ministers of the Lord
have done throughout all the ages. You know this modern religion where they
come and sing for an hour or more and then give a little talk is not Biblical.
It is Satan’s kind of worship.
17 And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And
when he had opened the book, he
found the place where it was written, 18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to
preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to
preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to
set at liberty them that are bruised, 19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.” 20 And he
closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the
eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him. 21 And he
began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.
In
this first paragraph brother Branham goes right to the heart of this sermon
showing us that when we battle with the enemy, we have one weapon and that is
the Word of God. For by the Word we
defeat our enemy just as Jesus defeated Satan by the Word.
From
his sermon God identifying Himself 64-0320 P:38 brother
Branham said, “What
if Moses would've went down in Egypt, and said, "Well, we're going to
build a big ark. We're going to float out of this country. The Nile's going to
come up." They'd look back in the scroll; there's no promise of that.
That's right. But you see, he identified himself as God's prophet, for what
he said come to pass. Then they knowed he had the Word of the Lord. Pharaoh had spears, but Moses
had the Word. So when they got to the sea, the spears all went
under the sea, and Moses took Israel across the sea on dry land, because he
had the Word, and he was the Word of that hour. Moses was the Word made
manifest for that hour. Elijah was the Word made manifest for that hour.
Christ is the Word made manifest. And the promises that He made
"A little while, and the world seeth Me
no more. Yet ye shall see Me, for I'll be with you, even in you to the end of
the world. The works that I do shall you do also." He promised these things. What is it? It's
the characteristic of God displaying His Word like He did in all ages.”
We find the words “it is written over 80 times in this Bible, and mostly
in the New Testament but there are quite a few in the Old Testament as well. So
let’s just take a stroll through the New Testament and see for ourselves how it
is essential in all our trials and testing to go to the Word of God as we have
more than 80 examples of how to do this in the Word of God.
So for starters let’s go to the first book in the New Testament which is
the Gospel of Matthew and we will begin at chapter 2.
1. Matthew
2:5 And they said unto him,
In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it
is written by the prophet, Micah
5:2

thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for
it is written, “He shall give
his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up,
lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.” Notice that we
have already spoken of this by Satan who began to use the Word of God himself
to try to put Jesus to the test, Psalms 91:11
4.
Matthew 4:7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, “Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God”.
5. Matthew
4:10 Then saith Jesus unto
him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is
written, “Thou shalt worship the
Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.” Exodus 34:14
6. Matthew
11:10 For this is he, of whom
it is written, “Behold, I send my messenger before thy

it is written of him: “but woe unto that man by whom the Son of
man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born.” Ecclesiastes
4:2-3
9. Matthew
26:31 Then saith Jesus unto
them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, “I
will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad.”
Zechariah
13:7
Now, let’s go to
the second book in the New Testament and read from the Gospel of Mark.
10. Mark
1:2 As it is written in
the prophets, “Behold, I send my
messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.” Malachi 3:1

unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, “This
people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.” Isaiah 29:13
12. Mark
9:12 And he answered and
told them, “Elias verily cometh first, and
restoreth all things;”Malachi 4 and how it is written

That Elias is indeed come, and they have
done unto him whatsoever they listed, as it is written of him. Malachi 3:
14. Mark

goeth, as it is written of
him: but woe to that man by whom the Son
of man is betrayed! good were it for that man if he had never been born. Ecclesiastes
4:2-3
15. Mark
14:27 And Jesus saith unto
them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, “I
will smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered.” Zechariah 13:7
Now,
let’s go to the Third Gospel in the New Testament and read from the Gospel of

Lord, “Every male that openeth the womb
shall be called holy to the Lord;)” Exodus 13:2
17. Luke

63. 1
Peter 1:16 Because
it is written, “Be ye holy; for I am holy” Leviticus 11:44-45, 19:2, 20:7
Now, that was
quite a list of Scriptures in the New Testament where the apostles and Jesus
himself all quoted from the Scriptures. And that ought to tell us the
importance of standing with the Word of God, for it is our defense in times of
trouble.
Now, when we go
to the Old Testament we will not hear Moses say it is written, for God used him
to write the first 5 Books of the Bible. But from Joshua on with the prophets
we find them pointing back to what Moses said. And remember Moses said in
Deuteronomy 4
64. Deuteronomy 4:1 Now, Israel, hear the decrees and laws I
am about to teach you. Follow them so that you may live and may go in
and take possession of the land the Lord, the God of your
ancestors, is giving you. 2 Do not add to what I command you and do
not subtract from it, but keep the
commands of the Lord your God that I give you. 3 You saw with your
own eyes what the Lord did
at Baal Peor. The Lord your
God destroyed from among you everyone who followed the Baal of Peor, 4 but all of you who
held fast to the Lord your
God are still alive today. 5 See, I
have taught you decrees and laws as the Lord my God commanded me, so that you may follow them in the land you
are entering to take possession of it. 6 Observe them carefully, for this
will show your wisdom and understanding to the nations, who will hear about all these decrees
and say, “Surely this great nation is a
wise and understanding people.” 7 What other nation is so great as to
have their gods near them the way the Lord our God is near us whenever we pray to him? 8 And what other nation is so great as to have
such righteous decrees and laws as this body of laws I am setting before
you today? 9 Only be
careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them fade from
your heart as long as you live. Teach them
to your children and to
their children after them.
And also I want to read from Deuteronomy chapter 6 so you can see the emphasis God
places on His Word for each family to teach diligently to their children and
their children’s children that we might enter into the land God has set aside
for us. Because the Kingdom of God is His
Word made manifest.
65. Deuteronomy 6:1 These
are the commands, decrees and laws the Lord your God
directed me to teach you to observe
in the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess, 2 so that you, your children and their children after
them may fear the Lord your God as long as you live by
keeping all his decrees and commands that I give you, and so that you may enjoy long life. 3 Hear, Israel, and be careful to obey so
that it may go well with you and that you may increase greatly in a
land flowing with milk and honey, just as the Lord, the God of your
ancestors, promised you. 4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God,
the Lord is
one.[a] 5 Love the Lord your God with
all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. 6 These
commandments that I give you today are first of all to be upon your own hearts. 7 Then you
are to whet and sharpen
them, so as to make them penetrate, and teach and impress them diligently upon the minds and hearts of your children. Talk about them when you sit at
home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 9 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on
your gates. 10 When
the Lord your God brings you into the land he
swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, to give you—a land with large,
flourishing cities you did not build, 11 houses filled with all kinds of good things
you did not provide, wells you did not dig, and vineyards and olive groves
you did not plant—then when you eat and are satisfied, 12 be
careful that you do not forget the Lord, who brought you out of
Egypt, out of the land of slavery. 13 Fear the Lord your God, serve him only and take your
oaths in his name. 14 Do not follow other gods, the gods of the
peoples around you; 15 for the Lord your God, who is among you, is a jealous God and his anger will
burn against you, and he will destroy you from the face of the land. 16 Do not put the Lord your God to the test as you did at Massah. 17 Be sure to keep the commands of
the Lord your God and the stipulations and
decrees he has given you. 18 Do what is right and good in the Lord’s sight, so that it may go well with you and you may go in
and take over the good land the Lord promised on oath to your
ancestors, 19 thrusting out all your enemies before you, as
the Lord said.
So the first one in the Old Testament to point to the Word which had been
written was Joshua who followed Moses under that Pillar of Fire, and when Moses
left He continued to follow that pillar of fire.
66. Joshua
8:31 As Moses the servant of
the LORD commanded the children of Israel, as
it is written in the book of the
law of Moses, an altar of whole stones, over which no man hath lift up any
iron: and they offered thereon burnt offerings unto the LORD, and sacrificed
peace offerings.
67. 2
Kings 23:21 And
the king commanded all the people, saying, Keep the passover unto the LORD your
God, as it is written in the book of this covenant.
68. 2
Chronicles 23:18 Also
Jehoiada appointed the offices of the house of the LORD by the hand of the
priests the Levites, whom David had distributed in the house of the LORD, to
offer the burnt offerings of the LORD, as it is written in the law of Moses,
with rejoicing and with singing, as it was ordained by David.
69. 2
Chronicles 25:4 But he
slew not their children, but did as it is written in the law in the book of
Moses, where the LORD commanded, saying, The fathers shall not die for the
children, neither shall the children die for the fathers, but every man shall
die for his own sin.
70. 2
Chronicles 31:3 [He
appointed] also the king's portion of his substance for the burnt offerings, to
wit, for the morning and evening burnt offerings, and the burnt offerings for
the sabbaths, and for the new moons, and for the set feasts, as it is written
in the law of the LORD.
71. 2
Chronicles 35:12 And
they removed the burnt offerings, that they might give according to the
divisions of the families of the people, to offer unto the LORD, as it is
written in the book of Moses. And so did they with the oxen.
72. Ezra
3:2 Then stood up Jeshua
the son of Jozadak, and his brethren the priests, and Zerubbabel the son of
Shealtiel, and his brethren, and builded the altar of the God of Israel, to
offer burnt offerings thereon, as it is written in the law of Moses the man of
God.
73. Ezra
3:4 They kept also the
feast of tabernacles, as it is written, and offered the daily burnt offerings
by number, according to the custom, as the duty of every day required;
74. Ezra
6:18 And they set the
priests in their divisions, and the Levites in their courses, for the service
of God, which is at Jerusalem; as it is written in the book of Moses.
75. Nehemiah
8:15 And that they should
publish and proclaim in all their cities, and in Jerusalem, saying, Go forth
unto the mount, and fetch olive branches, and pine branches, and myrtle
branches, and palm branches, and branches of thick trees, to make booths, as it
is written.
76. Nehemiah
10:34 And we cast the lots
among the priests, the Levites, and the people, for the wood offering, to bring
it into the house of our God, after the houses of our fathers, at times
appointed year by year, to burn upon the altar of the LORD our God, as it is
written in the law:
77. Nehemiah
10:36 Also the firstborn of
our sons, and of our cattle, as it is written in the law, and the firstlings of

Now, remember we are speaking
this morning on the subject that God’s Word is our protection, and from his
sermon World's Falling Apart 63-0412M P:42 brother Branham says, “God will not save
the world by an organization or a system. He'll save it by the Holy Spirit, and
the Holy Spirit is the Word made manifest. It's the promises of
God made manifest. Yes, sir. We've taken our traditions and made the
Word of God of non effect, just like they did in the days when Jesus come. Oh,
yes, sir. God promised to supply our needs, not our wants. We're
always wanting something, but we want it in our own way. You say,
"Well, I want that. I... Well, Lord, send us this, and send us that."
God knows our needs. That's exactly right. He knows our need.”
The
Word is our defense as we see in Psalm 34:19 Many
are the afflictions of the righteous:
(Those who do what is
right) but the Lord delivereth
him out of them all.
Take
on the whole armor of God 62-0701 P:82 John 14:12, Jesus said,
"He that believeth in Me, the works that I do shall he do also." What is
it? It's God in the church in these five predestinated offices, backing up
every Word that He said with the Holy Spirit Himself in there, which is the
Word made manifest, proving His resurrection, proving that He lives.
All other religions are dead. Their forms are dead. There's only one that's
right, and that's Christianity, because Christ is a living in the church
of Christ (Amen.), making His word manifest, for He is the same. If it's the same Word, It'll do
the same thing, and show the same works, and the same signs. Matthew
28
says so. Be with His army, in them, securing them... Think of it. The
great Word General triumph in us.
Looking
for Jesus 54-0228E P:25 They said... The signs of Mark 16 is said today that that was just for
the disciples. Why, Jesus said, "Preach the Gospel unto all the world, and these signs shall follow
them," on to all the world. Everywhere, this
same sign, same Gospel will be preached. We've had tracts passed out all
over the world. But the Gospel hasn't been preached to a third of it yet.
The Gospel is not just the Word only, but it's the Word made manifest, the
power and demonstrations of the Holy Spirit, bringing the Word to pass.
Inner
man 53-1212 P:45 And that Jehovah God that created all those
things brought Hisself down to live in the heart of you and I. Before He
did, He had to clean His road. He had to show them law and commandment.
Then He had to come down and show them love, and then break His way right in
the heart of man. And now God is in us. That's right. Now, we are His
hands on earth. We are His eyes on earth. We are His Gospel on
earth. And the Gospel is not together by the Word. The Word made manifest is the
Gospel. The
Gospel come not in Word only, but through power and demonstration of the Holy
Spirit. "Go ye into all the world and demonstrate the power of the Holy
Spirit to all the nations." Now, instead of that, we begin to teach
theology. And we've had two thousands years and two-thirds of the earth has
never heard of Jesus Christ. Two-thirds of the earth don't know one thing about
Jesus Christ. Think of it. Well, you say, "That's over in heathen
land." That's almost in the United States of America.
Take
on the whole armor of God 62-0701 P:48 It's appealing.
Now, he makes it again... He makes it educational, intellectual. Did not the
Holy Ghost tell us in II
Timothy, 3rd chapter, that in the last days it would become an
intellectual group in the church? "Heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God,
truce breakers, false accusers, incontinent, and despisers of those that are
good?"You say, "Them's communists." Oh, no. Them's
so-called Christians (See?), having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof. And the power is the Word made
manifest. Said, "The Gospel come to us not through word only, but through power and
demonstrations of the Spirit." I'm speaking of the army of God now:
fortified.
Seed
not heir with shuck 65-0218 P:40 That's the way
with people who profess Christ. Many of them look like Christians, try to act
like Christians, but you've
got to have Christ on the inside of you, which is the Word made manifest,
or it'll never mature into a real Bible believing Christian. It'll
always be a denominational something. It cannot live, because there's no life
in it to live. An egg cannot hatch; it rots right in the nest if it hasn't been
with the male bird. Just like members of a church. You can baby them and call
them, make them deacons and everything else, but you have a nest full of rotten
eggs unless they've mated with the mate. That's right.
Spoken
word original seed 62-0318E P:97 Moab... What happened? When Balaam went down
there, he built seven altars just exactly like they had. Don't talk on them
fundamentally, 'cause you had better know what you're talking about. Jesus
said, "It
would almost deceived the very elected." It's spiritual revealed. If
you catch It, then It's the Word, and you see the Word made manifest. Look, here
they was up there; and here was Moab. He's to... No doubt but he was a bishop,
sure, great guy, and he built seven altars. He put seven rams on it, speaking that
he believed that there was coming a Messiah. Brother, if it come to
fundamentalism, God had to recognize both of them. When Cain built an altar to
the Lord (Satan's son, built an altar to the Lord), he built the same kind
of an altar that Abel built. They both worshipped; they
both went to church; they both paid their dues. They
both obligated; they got down and worshipped the same God,
and one was received and the other one lost. How's
it come?

Kings 2:3 And
keep the charge of the LORD thy God,
(That’s
His word) to walk
in his ways, to keep his statutes,
(His Word) and his commandments,
(Again that is His Word) and his judgments,
(again that is his Word) and his testimonies,
(What? His word) as it is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thyself:
The Word of the Lord, His Doxa, His
opinions, values and judgments are to prosper us in whatever endeavor we choose.
Psalms 1: Blessed
is the man that is righteous, (rightly wise), the one who does not walk in
step with the wicked nor stand in the way that
sinners take nor
sits in the company of mockers, 2 but whose delight is in the Word of
the Lord,
and who meditates upon his Word day and
night. 3 He shall be like a tree that
is planted by streams of water, which yields its
fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither, and whatsoever he does, prospers. 4 Not
so for the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away. 5 Therefore
the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the
assembly of the righteous. 6 For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked if
left to himself to perish.
You see, by learning God’s word, and meditating upon it and then talking
to one another about it, we grow in that Word, and it keeps us, and readies us
for the battle, and gives us victory when it comes.
We read in Malachi
3:16-18 a promise of God to us that when we walk in his word and
talk to one another we grow in discernment and will not be deceived when the
time comes. 16 Then those who
feared the Lord talked with each other, and the Lord listened and heard. And A scroll of
remembrance was written in his presence
concerning those who
feared the Lord and honored his name. 17 “On
the day when I act,” (and this is the hour of His Parousia
when He has come down to act with a shout, next a voice of resurrection, and
then a trump to catch us away) says the Lord Almighty,
“they will be my treasured possession. I will spare them, just as a father has compassion and spares his
son who serves him. (and the son who serves his father is
the adopted son) 18 And you will again see the distinction between (in other words you will be
able to discern who serves God and who does not) And you will again see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked,
between those who serve God and those who do not.
That is how God’s Word becomes our buckler and shield, and our helmet of
salvation and our full armor of God.
For as the Apostle Paul said, we are to put on the full armor of God. And
it covers us from head to toe.
Ephesians 6:10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the
full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. (Oh
brother and if he isn’t scheming today?) 12 For our struggle is
not against flesh and blood, but against
the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark
world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
You know we can talk about
these world rulers who are pedophiles, and Satanists and Luciferians and you
can talk to people who claim they are walking in the light, and they think you
are nuts. They think you are a conspiracy theorist. My siblings for years,
thought I had gone off the deep end, but now they are saying the same things
about them that I have been saying for 30-40 years to them. My sister, a devout
Catholic said to me This pope is antichrist and so are most of the cardinals. Now, she is a devoted catholic and does the
daily Mass thing, but she now sees it, and I said to her, “I have tried to tell
you for nearly 40 years that they are, and she said, “yes, I know you have but
now I can see it manifested.”
From
The Unveiling of God brother Branham
said in pp.121 We in Him... Then we being in Him, we are still veiled to the religionists and professors of
the world. See, our glory that we have and enjoying, we are still veiled to them outsiders. They think we're crazy, a nut again. See, see? That's right. But we who
are in here, in Christ, baptized into Him (I Corinthians 12), into Him, we are partakers of this Glory. See? But not on the outside, you're still looking in, denying it. See? So
now we are invited into Him to be partakers of all that He is. We're invited
into Him, which is hid to unbelievers by the veil of human flesh. See? They
know that Glory; they read of It, It's in the Word here,
of the Glory of God
and things like that; it's just a word to them.
To
us it's a manifestation. See? It is no more a word; it's a reality. Amen. God said, "Let there be light." That was the word, but now there is light. It ain't the word; it's the
light. See what I mean?
The Unveiling of God 122 Now, it isn't just a written Word to us;
it's a reality. We are in Him. Now,
we're enjoying Him; now we behold Him; now we see Him the Word manifesting
Himself. It's
hid out there, because why? It's veiled in human flesh. See? Oh, they say,
"That bunch of people, where'd they go to school? What education do they
have? What did they come from? What group do they belong to?"
See, see, they don't get it. A man said to another man the other day, said,
"You have to belong to a denomination to be a Christian." He said,
"I am a Christian; I don't belong to any of them." Said,
"God taken this cancer out of me," said, "now what do you think
about that?" It was a doctor. He said, "Show me the denominations
doing it." See? All right. See, it's still veiled.
Man
that can turn on light 63-1229M P:53 So is it in every age. The Word
made manifest, come to light is the Light of that age, there--the
Word made manifest just like it was in Genesis 1 when God said,
"Let
there be light," and there was light, when God said there will be a
Son, and there was a Son. When God said in Joel 2:28, "It shall come to pass in the last days
I'll pour out My Spirit upon all flesh. Your sons and daughters shall prophesy.
Upon my handsmaids and maidservant will I pour out of My Spirit. Your young men
shall see visions; your old man shall see dreams." And all
these things that He promised, when It, the Holy Ghost fell, was the Light
upon that Word. When the Word was made manifest, then It become Light.
He is the Light. He's the Light that we should follow. He is the only Light.
The Angels found light and followed it to Him.
Seed
not heir with shuck 65-0218 P:30 There... See, here is no... There is no judgment
to the royal, spiritual, predestinated Seed of Abraham, for they are
predestinated to Eternal Life. They have accepted God's provided Sacrifice,
and that Sacrifice which is Christ, the Word. "And there is therefore now no condemnation
(St. John
5:24, if you want the Scripture)... There is therefore now no condemnation to
them that are in Christ Jesus (Romans
8:1)... walk
not after the flesh, but the Spirit." And Romans
5:24, "He
that heareth My Word (the word there is 'understandeth.' Any drunkard
anything else can hear it and walk away.)... But he that heareth My Word (understands My Word) and believeth on Him that sent Me hath
Everlasting Life and shall not come into the judgment, but's passed from death
unto Life." Yes, sir. He that this great mystery of the
God made known, understand, how that God was in Christ reconciling Himself to
the world, how that He and the Father were One, how that the great mysteries of
the fulfilling of God taking and bringing Hisself, manifested in the age of
human beings, and in the strain of human beings, and in the company of human
beings, to make His Word manifested in the day in the eastern rising of the sun
and to do the same thing as the sun sets in the west, to make Hisself
manifested in a Bride church, the Word made manifest. See? It will
to... "He
that understandeth (that is, to know), that's
been revealed to him of Him that sent Me, has Everlasting Life and will not
come into the judgment, but's passed from death unto Life."
Unveiling
of God 64-0614M P:129 Jesus said, "Search the Scriptures, you think you have... You believe in God,
believe also in Me. If I do not the works of My Father, then don't believe Me.
But if I do do the works, I and My Father are One. When you see Me, you have
seen the Father."And when you see the Word made
manifest, you see the Father God, because the Word is the Father; the
Word is God. And the Word made manifest is God Himself taking His Own Word
and manifesting It among believers. Nothing can make It live but
believers, just believers. It's not... It won't...
Shalom
64-0119 P:95 The Jews returning to their land, the things that's
taking place that is in this day, would prevent from me from halfway beginning
to tell you what's taking place, but we see it. What is it? Word made
manifest. What do you think the Hebrews did when they seen the Word
made manifest with a promise? They got ready to leave the land. If you're not ready
today, friend, start this new year out right; start it with your hand in
God's hand, God's Word in your heart, saying, "Lord
Jesus, I don't know what part of this Symphony that You want me to play, but at
when that junction comes for me to be persecuted, laughed at, made fun of, I
still take my stand that Your Symphony will not be messed up because of me.
I'll stay right with Your Word, no matter what It is. I'll stay right there.
And when death beats up to my door, that's part of the Symphony. I know then
that just as sure as it beat death up to my door, the resurrection will beat
out one of these days too, and You'll raise me up again. It's part of Your
Symphony. Lord, let me be part today, will You?"
Show
us the father 62-0722 P:56 Said, "Search the Scriptures, for in Them you
think you have Eternal Life. They are They which testify of Me. If I do not the
works of My Father then believe Me not." How many times this week we've
went through that, back and forth, to show that He was the Word. So you see
nature, Word, Son. It's all coming to the same God, actually the same God
working in a different channels. Jesus was God manifested in the flesh. He
was God the Word. Every one of us believe that God was in Christ reconciling the world to
Himself. Jesus is the Son of God, that is the body, and God was the Spirit
that dwelt in that Tabernacle that He created for Himself, a virgin body.
God...That's the reason He said here, "I've been so long with you and you don't
know Me? He that's seen Me hath seen the Father." In other words, "You see the
Father working through Me. God is a Spirit. They that worship Him must worship
Him in Spirit and truth." See? God is a Spirit. And here we
find the Word being made manifest. In I John we find it; also in John 11, it says here that... And also in John 5:24, We find many
places. John
14, Jesus said that, "He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also." Why? It's the Word made manifest in
them.
Now, back to what Paul said
in Ephesians 6:13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may
be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm
then, with the belt of truth buckled
around your waist, with the
breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and
with your feet fitted with the readiness
that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In
addition to all this, take up the shield
of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the
evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which
is the word of God. 18 And pray in the
Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and
requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for
all the Lord’s people.
Let us pray…
