Rightwiseness and Unrightwiseness pt 1

The right-wise-ness of Revelation

December 5th 2021 Am

Brian Kocourek, Pastor

Romans 1:17 For therein is the rightwiseness of God revealed from revelation to revelation: as it is written, The just shall live by revelation.

Let us pray.

Now, we know that the word righteousness comes from the old English of Rightwiseness and we also know that Br. Branham taught us in his Rapture message that Faith is a Revelation.

Rapture the 65-1204 P:40 But to the church, the Bride, the rapture is a revelation to her. It's revealed to her, that the revelation, the true Bride of Christ will be waiting for that revelation of the rapture. Now, it is a revelation, for the revelation is faith. You cannot have a revelation without it being faith. Faith is a revelation, because it's something that's revealed to you. Faith is a revelation. Faith is something that has been revealed to you like it was to Abraham, that could call anything contrary to what had been revealed to him as though it wasn't so. Now, faith... That's what faith is, is the revelation of God. The church is built upon a revelation, the whole entire body.

Works is faith expressed 65-1126 P:50 There's some that's trying hard to believe it, trying to work themselves into it. Some just can't do it at all. And others, it's just by grace; it's just given to them. Now, there is the difference. See? That does it. That's the real revelation, because faith is a revelation from God. It must be revealed first.

Works is faith expressed 65-1126 P:46 Now, "faith" is a "revelation from God." Now, "faith" is a "revelation." There's where I want to stay there just a moment. It's a revelation. He has revealed it to you by His grace. It's nothing you did. You didn't work yourself up into faith. You never had faith; it's give to you by the grace of God. And God reveals it to you; therefore, faith is a revelation. And the whole Church of God is built upon the revelation.

Therefore as I read all scriptures this morning that refer to righteousness, we will reword it rightwiseness and when we refer to all scriptures referring to Faith we will use the word revelation in its place, so that the continuity of thought can be consistent.

Therefore, we can read this as Romans 1:17 For therein is the right-wise-ness of God revealed from revelation to revelation: as it is written, The just shall live by revelation.

Revelation from God therefore is an all important function that God has enabled his elect to possess. And it can only come by receiving the Holy Ghost. For the apostle Paul taught us in 1 Corinthians 2 that “no man can understand the things of God except the Spirit of God be in him.

Therefore as we enter this mini-series on Righteousness vs unrighteousness,  and keep in mind all the way through that rightwiseness comes by revelation, and un-right-wise-ness comes by a lack of revelation, as we will see in the many scriptures I present to you this morning.  That ought to tell you how important revelation is to the believer. For without it, you can never receive the right-wise-ness of God, and “your own right-wise-ness is as filthy rags” as we read in Isaiah 64.

Isaiah 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our rightwisenesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

Now, the apostle Paul also tells us in Romans 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. 21 But now the rightwiseness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; 22 Even the rightwiseness of God which is by revelation of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

There he also tells us in Romans 4:1 ¶ What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found?  2 For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God. 3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, (he had a revelation from God and he believed that revelation) and it was counted unto him for rightwiseness.  4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. 5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his revelation is counted for rightwiseness.  6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth (or attributed to Abraham) rightwiseness without works,  7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.  8  Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute (attribute) sin. 9¶Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that revelation was reckoned to Abraham for rightwiseness. 10  How was it then reckoned? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision.  11 And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the rightwiseness of the revelation which he had yet being uncircumcised: (in other words before it even took place God attributed what he was going to do because of his revelation he received from God before he could even believe.) that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that rightwiseness might be imputed (attributed) unto them also:  12 And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that revelation (revelation) of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised. 13  For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the rightwiseness of revelation (revelation). 14    For if they which are of the law be heirs, revelation (revelation) is made void, and the promise made of none effect: 15 Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression. 16 Therefore it is of revelation,(revelation) that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the revelation of Abraham; who is the father of us all, 17 ¶ (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. 18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. 19 And being not weak in revelation, (revelation) he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara's womb: 20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in revelation, (revelation) giving glory to God; 21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. 22 And therefore it was imputed to him for rightwiseness.(right-wise-nes)

Again lets go to Romans 5:18 and read,  Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the right-wise-ness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

And from Romans 9:28 For he will finish the work, and cut it short in right-wise-ness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth. 29 And as Esaias said before, Except the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed, we had been as Sodoma, and been made like unto Gomorrha. 30  What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after rightwiseness, have attained to rightwiseness, even the rightwiseness which is of revelation. 31 But Israel, which followed after the law of rightwiseness, hath not attained to the law of rightwiseness. 32 Wherefore? Because they sought it not by revelation, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone; 33 As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.  Now that is the key right there. They stumbled because their focus was wrong. Because it was not revealed to them. Therefore they had an un-rightwiseness.

Now, today we have an example of this un-rightwiseness in a false five-fold ministry who have no revelation from God concerning His Word, and thus their own rightwiseness is no rightwiseness at all, but considered by God as filthy rags. Therefore it is un-rightwiseness, which is a wrong thinking, a wrong understanding.

Again in the book of Romans 10:3 the apostle Paul tells us…For they being ignorant of God's rightwiseness, and going about to establish their own rightwiseness, they have not submitted themselves unto the rightwiseness of God. 4 For Christ is the end of the law for rightwiseness to every one that believeth.  5 For Moses describeth the rightwiseness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them. 6 But the rightwiseness which is of revelation speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:) 7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) 8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of revelation, which we preach; 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto rightwiseness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12  ¶ For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. 14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? 15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! 16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? 17 So then revelation cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

So then, the entire source and origin of salvation rests on this one thing, that God sends out someone, (A true minister of the Word).

For if He does not send out any, then they who preach,  (preach falsely), and their preaching is no preaching at all. In fact, it would be better for them not to preach.

Then they who hear, (hear error), and it would be better for them not to hear.

Then also they who believe, would (believe falsely), and it would be better for them not to believe.

Then also they who call upon Him would call falsely (upon a false Lord),  and it would be better for them not to call.

For such preachers do not preach,

such hearers do not hear;

such believers do not believe;

such callers do not call;

they will be damned because they would be saved by falsehood. Which is Un-rightwiseness

Then we would see what is spoken of in Proverbs 1:28 which says, “Then shall they call upon me, But I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: for that they hated knowledge and did not choose the fear of the Lord.”

16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?  17 So then revelation cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. The true, revealed, and vindicated Word of God.

The apostle Paul also taught us in  also said in II Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath rightwiseness with unrightwiseness? and what communion hath light with darkness? You put truth speakers together with false speakers and what do you get, confusion and a hybrid gospel.

From his sermon Oneness  62-0211 113  brother Branham said, “Can a man who believes in all the Word of God have a unity with them who just believes part of the Word of God? God wants separators.”

Let’s read some more scriptures to nail down this point.

Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the revelation of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.  21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if rightwiseness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

Philippians 3:9   And be found in him, not having mine own rightwiseness, which is of the law, but that which is through the revelation of Christ, the rightwiseness which is of God by revelation:

II Timothy 4:1   I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; 2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.  3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. 5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. 6    For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. 7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the revelation: 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of rightwiseness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

So we see at the time of the Appearing of God, which is the unveiling of God, also known as the Revelation of Jesus Christ, and this he says comes before the actual coming, and there is to come by the revelation of Jesus Christ a rightwiseness that God will bring down with a Shout to the end time believers.

Hebrews 5:13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of rightwiseness: for he is a babe.

Hebrews 11:7 By revelation Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the rightwiseness which is by revelation.

I John 2:29 f ye know that He (God) is rightly wise, ye know that every one that doeth rightwiseness is born of him.

I JohnN 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth rightwiseness is rightly wise, even as he is rightly wise.  8   He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifest  9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not rightwiseness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

Now, this morning we will approach a subject that brother Vayle taught in 1972 and I have also taught this same subject several times over the past 40 years as your pastor.

The subject is Righteousness and Unrighteousness. And I feel this is a very important subject, because at the end time the spirits are so close that it's very difficult, except for the very elect, to discern which is which.

And, if you have a people at the end time who cannot tell right from wrong then you can realize how close the spirit must be in order to cause this great confusion. We know that this is the hour that our revelation is going to be turned right back to the fathers, to really know by Divine revelation---"THUS SAITH THE LORD"---and this is the hour there will be a living people who will stand in a oneness with this Word, and will  have a proper understanding and thereby have and live a true revelation in  God.

Now, in the Book of Malachi 3 we read from verse 16, "Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another: and the Lord hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon his name."

Now we've read this verse many times. But, because as with most Scripture because we have preconceived ideas of what we're about to read, then even before we read it, we don't even read it correctly. Now the average person will read this verse, and he will say, "That's wonderful there will be a people that talk to God." But see, they are not talking to God. No, they were talking to each other, and God was listening to what they were saying to one another. "They that feared the Lord spake often one to another."  See! The people were talking to each other. And God was so pleased by what He heard that He wrote a book of remembrance.

Now what kind of a language, and what kind of talk were these people doing that God was so pleased that He Himself in turn did something very special about these people, which was not done through other ages?

He said concerning them, Malachi 3:17a "They shall be mine in the day when I make up my jewels, and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him."

See that is adoption talk there. “I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him

Therefore, this must be the day of the First Resurrection and catching away of the church when all are together and gathered at the great Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

Now, how do I know this? Because in verse 18, It says, "Then shall you return, and discern between the rightly wise and the wicked, between him that serves God and him that serves him not."

Therefore, this morning we’re going to take this verse for our text. 18. "Then shall you return and discern between the rightly wise and the wicked, between him that serves God and him that serves him not."

So therefore, at the end time, before the Rapture, the people are evidently speaking in a certain way that it pleases God, and nobody else speaks that way, and they are the only ones who evidently fear His name, and understand His name, and are considered rightly wise, because they are the only ones at the end time who will comprise the gathering together of the jewels at the end of the age.

And we know the gathering together of the saints William Branham taught us is at the time of the resurrection when we gather together first and then are caught up to meet the Lord in the air.

Questions and answers COD 64-0823M P:34 All right, fifth question: Will the Bride be gathered together  in one place at the rapture, and will it be in the west? Nope, don't have to be there. Yeah, the Bride will be gathered together in one place. That is true, but not until the resurrection. See? "For we which are alive and remain unto the coming (Parousia) of the Lord..." II Thessalonians the 5th chapter, I believe it is. "We which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (or hinder) those which are asleep (universally); for the trumpet of God shall sound, and the dead in Christ shall rise, and we shall be caught up together with them to meet the Lord in the air." Therefore, the Bride will all be together when it goes to meet the Lord. See?

And now concerning Malachi 3:17-18 that we are discussing here this morning, there is, of course, only one group of people who can qualify, and they will be those who give back to God, by speaking to each other, the true understanding of the Word of Almighty God.

That is why the apostle John said in 1 John 5:9-15 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.

So what God is listening to in Malachi 3 is not the witness of men, but God is witnessing His own word being spoken or echoed one to another by men.

Lets read on in 1 John 5:10  “He that believeth on the Son of God hath (echoes) the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.

So it is the record that God gave of his Son that each one is echoing one to the other.

Now, 1 John 5: and verse 11  “And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.”

Now, this is important to understand because without this echoing of the record God gave of His son, there can be no echoing of the life that was in His first born son either.

And that is what John tells us in verse 12  “He that hath (echoes) the Son hath (echoes) life; and he that hath (echoes) not the Son of God hath (echoes) not life.”

And that is what they were doing when they were speaking one to another and God was listening and he hearkened, which means he paid special attention to what they were saying, and then we know what He does as a response and that is to confirm His predestined election and selection, "They shall be mine in the day when I make up my jewels, and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him."

As I said earlier, This is adoption talk.

Now, let’s see how that ties with 1 John 5:13 “ These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. 14  And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 15  And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

So we talk to one another His Word, which is His Life, and our lives begin to echo also his Life, and the confidence grows from word to word, and from Glory to glory, and from image to image, as Paul tells us in 2 Corinthians 3:18 We know that as we speak and echo His Word we know that He is listening, and will gather us together as a man gathers his jewels and spares His own sons who serve Him.

Now notice what He is saying here: Because this also has something to do with serving. Evidently the rest of the people do not serve Him. Many people speak, many people talk about God; even multitudes talk to God. But at the end time it is not you're talking to God; but it is your talking to each other in a certain specific way, and echoing what God has given to you to know concerning His relationship with His firstborn son and then sons.

It tells us that God will recognize you, and make you one of His jewels, and consequently also, impute to you, the Life that was in the first born son, and allow you to know for certain that you've been counted a true son. And No one else is going to qualify.

Now as much as this may seem unfair to some yet, but this is what God said in Malachi 3, and his thoughts are no our thoughts, for we have no thought coming.

Now we just can't go by what we think. For us to become lax or generous in a grace which God has not extended,  does not enhance the glory of God nor does it do  anything for us; but destroys us.

Now notice first of all, that this verse is very obscure. People pass over it. They don't bother to memorize It. And neither do you find it in the great texts wherein famous messengers of God in the past have preached. And not only is It very obscure, but It is very wrongly translated. This is one of the most terrible translations, perhaps, in the Book of Malachi here. It says, "Then shall you return and discern," not 'between the righteous and the wicked,' but actually, "between rightwiseness and wickedness."

That is how you can discern between who is rightly wise and who is not. Because he that doeth righteousness is righteous. Or He that doeth what is right is right. So you must know right and wrong to know who is right and who is wrong.

Now that's what the Bible teaches. The discernment is not between righteous people and wicked people, but is actually between rightwiseness and wickedness, and only certain people are going to be able to judge between what is right and what is wrong. Otherwise the focus is on the vessels and not the opinion, values and judgments. But the doxa of God is his opinions, His values, and His judgments.

The Bible says the people of the end time, except for a certain few who speak in a certain way, fearing His Name in a certain way, will not know the difference between right and wrong. Neither will they know who serves God and who does not serve God.

Now remember, this is absolutely in the church. And furthermore, it's just like saying that the people at the end time do not know their left hand from their right hand, spiritually speaking. This shows a tremendous blindness, as we are told concerning the church in Revelation 3:17 they are blind and don’t even know it.

But we know the Bible says they're going to be that way and so that's the way they're going to be, and that's the way they are at the end time.

Now, in getting back to Malachi 3 I want you to notice how The Spirit puts it. He said, "Then shall you return.” And after you have returned, then you will be able to do this very thing, which is to “discern between right and wrong and be able to know who is serving God and who is not serving God."

But you've got to return first. And if they have got to return, then they must first of all be away from God, because a man cannot return to a certain point until first of all he has left that certain point. I cannot return to something if I have never left that something. Therefore, people cannot return to God until first of all they’ve left Him. And it is true that everybody has turned away from God, everybody has left God, they are all away from Him as the scripture says,

Romans 3:10-12As it is written, There is none rightly wise, no, not one: 11  There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeks after God. 12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that does good, no, not one.”

So that is quite an indictment against mankind, here, but it was necessary in order for us to be able to return.

And the problem is that no one even knew it, except for this little group of people who “speak in a certain way and fear His name.” And they are counted as jewels, which definitely show that they have  rightwiseness  because they are rightly wise. And by echoing God’s record of His Son they will also echo His life and in so doing will be found to be serving God, wherein the rest do not do so.

Now this proves that the Bride was in this mess. Now I know many people don't want to believe that. They say, "Well certainly God has always had a very few and a, Oh, yes, a few, but always He's got a few." I challenge you. At the end time, God does not have even the few. He doesn't. They've all gone astray. They've all left God, and it ends up at this end time that there will be only a few that actually return, if they are going to be counted as the true sons of Almighty God, they're going to be counted as those that know their left hand from their right hand, spiritually, and they'll be talking in a certain way. See? Now that's just exactly the way the Bible states it to be so, so we're not going to switch It.

Now look at Malachi 3:7, and see for yourself. "Even from the days of your fathers you are gone astray away from my ordinances, and have not kept them."

See, there it is. "Even from the days of your fathers..."

Now remember  the hearts of the children are to be turned back to the fathers.”

So therefore, he's talking to the children. And remember, it's in the very age of 2 Corinthians 11:2-3 that the apostle Paul says “they will leave the Word”.

And it's in Revelation 2 that John says “they have left the Word; they have fallen.”  See?

Now notice how he puts It, "From the days of your fathers." It was in the very first century that the church began to turn away from God. See? Now he said, "How have they turned?" They have turned from the ordinances, which is the Word of God.

Notice what he says, "Return unto me, and I will return unto you." Now how did they turn from God? They turned from God by turning from the Word. So therefore, only a turning to the Word will bring the people back to God.

You’ve got to come back to that Word. When you come back to that Word, you’ll be saying that Word in a manner which is acceptable to God, and the service, (what you do, your life), will be finally correct.

Paul tells us in Romans 12:1-2 what this service is once you have returned to the Word.  I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. (the NIV states that this reasonable service is your spiritual act or worship. And then Paul says,) 2  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

So the mind must first return to the Word and be renewed in the Word before the righteous service can be performed and then accepted.

1 John 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth rightwiseness is rightly wise, even as he (God) is rightly wise. He that doeth what is right is right. So your actions speak louder than your words.

Brother Branham said, “don’t preach me a sermon, live me one.”  And the Bible calls us “written epistles known and read of all me.  So you life will speak louder than your words. And if what you do is based on what you think, and what you think is rightly wise, then what you do will be called rightwiseness.  And that shows you are born of God.

1 John 2:29 If ye know that he (God) is rightly wise, ye know that every one that doeth rightwiseness is born of him.

2 Timothy 4:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of rightwiseness, which the Lord, the rightly wise judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

Notice we are “His Jewels which He will gather unto himself at that day and also “at that Day we are to be given a crown as well” … of rightwiseness.

And where does the crown set? Upon the Head, right? And He is the head of the church. And where are the Jewels placed?,  in His crown. Therefore, the Jewels which are the golden nuggets of His Word made manifest are to be displayed in this crown of Rightwiseness, which the rightly wise  Judge shall give us at that day of His Appearing.

Now, this tells us that no one else will be in that Rapture. Only those who returned unto Him, and He is the Word.

Then I ask you, when or at what time is this returning supposed to take place and how does God do it?

In Malachi 4:1 We read “For behold, the day cometh that shall burn as an oven; (well that's the day that the rapture is, right at the end time) and all the proud, (those that can't admit that they're off the Word---see?) yea, all that do wickedly, (They don't even know right from wrong, spiritually blinded, it said.) shall be as stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up saith the Lord of hosts, and shall leave them neither root nor branch. 2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of rightwiseness arise with healing in his wings; and you shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. 3 Then shall you tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the Lord God of hosts.

We won't be coming with a big sword and trying to beat everybody over the head. And you won’t tread them down neither, because they're already treaded down. The Bible says, “yea, all that do wickedly shall be as stubble:” That’s after the harvest. Go into my field every year and the beans which were so nice and green, at harvest time the leaves fall off and they dry up, and then the combine comes, and all you see is stubble. And it tells us here in Malachi and Peter that they've been burned up. You'll walk out on them just the way Noah and his family walked on the dead that were in his day. God just laid down a big old bed of silt, and they walked right on top of it. See? Now the same thing will occur again.

Now it says in Malachi 4:4 "Remember you the law of Moses, my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, and the statutes and judgments."

Now what does this got to do about that? It's very simple: "Remember you the law of Moses, my servant." What happened to Moses? In Horeb God had to give him the Word twice. Now he tells you right here, the Word is going to be given twice.

Now Sinai is what we usually call Mount Horeb. See? Mount Sinai, the judgments of God, the broken Word of Almighty God, but now in Horeb; we associate it more with a blessing where the Word of God comes to the people for their acceptance, and they accept it. And with this, they were supposed to go into the promised land. And so, at the end time he is saying remember the law of Moses, how that the Word of God was given twice; so therefore, I will give the Word of God again the second time.

And how's God going to do it? The same way He did with Moses, God came down and Gave Moses the Word, Twice! The first time it was broken, so God had to give it again.

The fifth verse: 5 Behold, I will send unto you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord: 6 And he shall turn the hearts of the children back to the fathers.

Now I skipped the one part intentionally, because it's been fulfilled. When the Word of God is fulfilled It passes away. See? For the Word of God shall not pass away till all be fulfilled. See? Now this first part was fulfilled: the hearts of the fathers turned to the children. But at the end time, the hearts of the children must be turned back to the fathers. And notice what happens: it has to go back to the Word; this is why the Word is given the second time so the people may be correct. The Alpha must repeat in the Omega, for the alpha and Omega is the same Word, and the same Message.

Masterpiece the 64-0705 P:99 The first Eve that fell, and was used in the second reformation--second coming, as bringing forth a child, now has become true Bride again, the Seed, right back with the original Word again. The Alpha and Omega is the same. He said, "I am Alpha and Omega." He never say anything in between, "I'm Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last." That's it. The first ministry and the last ministry is the same. The first Message and the second--last Message is the same thing. "I was in Alpha; I'm in Omega." "There'll be a day that won't be called day nor night, but in the evening time it shall be Light." See? Alpha and Omega; it's become the first and the last. Oh, my, brethren, we could stay a--hours on that.

The first time was correct, but the people left the Word. “They left their first love.” “Ephesians means relaxed and drifting.” Now  you've got to get back to what the Word really says. See? And he says I'm going to send Elijah to do it.

Now he says, if I don't send Elijah, I'm going to come and smite utterly the earth with a curse. But, because I do send Elijah, then I bring you back to that Word, I return you, Like God told Abraham and Sara, “at the appointed time I will return thee unto the tie of life.” and therefore, because I return thee unto the Life of My Word, you will speak often one to another this Word, and you know My name, and you fear Me in the prescribed way, then He said, “I will smite utterly the earth and they will be under the soles of your feet. But you, I will make you as My jewels in that day, saith the Lord of hosts.” Now here's your picture. See? People have turned away from God but they must be turned back.

Let's go to the Book of Matthew 17, and see this very thing brought to our attention. Jesus is speaking out to the Mount of Transfiguration, which is a picture of the millennium, which is to come upon earth: Jesus, the Son of David reigning upon the throne in a glorified body. In the eleventh verse they said to him concerning this great kingdom that shall come, Jesus said, "Elijah shall truly first come." The disciples said in the tenth verse: 10 Why then say the scribes Elijah must first come? 11 And Jesus said, Elijah shall truly first come, and restore all things.

Now notice the same thing is brought to our attention in the Book of Acts 3, beginning at verse 19. “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sin may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; 20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which was appointed unto you: 21 Whom the heavens must retain (not 'receive,' it's 'retain') until the restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

Who is going to bring the restoration? Elijah is going to bring the restoration. What is that restoration? That which was spoken by the mouth of all the holy prophets since the world began. What did the mouth of all the holy prophets speak? They spoke the Word of God. So therefore, the people are going to be turned back to the actual Word of God and not only the Word of God in a limited sense, but the Original Seed Word of God.

Now then... So, if you're going to get turned back to the Word, you're going to get turned back to God. See? It absolutely synchronizes. It's synonymous. To have one is to have the other. You could not have God apart from His Word, and neither can you have this Word apart from God. See? That's just absolutely perfect the way the Lord lays it out here before us. “In the Beginning was the Word and the Word was God, and the Word is God” and “He is the same yesterday today and forever. “I am God, I change not.” Back to Malachi 3 again.

Now I mentioned that this period of spiritual blindness is just before Jesus comes. The people of Laodicea  are so spiritually blind that they cannot tell rightwiseness from unrightwiseness. They cannot tell rightwiseness from iniquity. Now you know that's true. They cannot tell rightwiseness from wickedness. Why?, because they have not accepted the restored Word.

They have turned from God. Now this is exactly what the Bible says at the end time in the Laodicean Church Age. This of course, is in the Book of Revelation 3, verses 14 to 22. 14 And unto the messenger of the church which is in Laodicea write; These things saith the Amen, (it's going to wind up now) the revelationful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; 15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then, because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. 17 Because thou sayest... (See?)

Ok, I think we will break it off here and we’ll continue this evening at our communion service.

Let’s bow our heads in prayer.
