Satan’s Eden no 2

Holy Ghost Eye Salve to see His Word made manifest

September 5th, 2021 am

Brian Kocourek, Pastor

This morning we will again read from the first paragraph of Br. Branham’s sermon Satan’s Eden, and if you recall last week we took our thoughts from what he said concerning the Word of God being our defense.

This morning I would like to read again from this first paragraph, and look at another thought that he speaks on which is the eye-salve of the Word.

So again as we did last week, let us again bow our heads in prayer and instead of myself praying, we will read from brother Branham’s opening prayer as we did also last week.

Let us bow. Dear God, we're grateful to You tonight for this grand opportunity to come again in the Name of the Lord Jesus, to meet our enemy, Your enemy out here on the field of battle with the Word to drive him away from the midst of Your people, that they might see tonight, Lord, the Gospel Light. I pray that You'll anoint our eyes with the eye-salve that it might be opened to the Truth; that we might leave here, saying within our hearts. "Did not our hearts burn within us as He spoke to us along the road." Heal the sick and afflicted. Encourage the discouraged. Lift up the feeble hands that once hung down. May we look to the coming of the Lord Jesus, which we believe is at hand. We ask this in Jesus' Name. Amen. Be seated.

Notice he after he talks about meeting our enemy which is also God’s enemy, we are to meet him on the battle field with the Word of God just like Jesus did.

Now, many will say amen to that, but in order to meet the enemy with the Word of God, you must know and understand the Word of God, and therefore he says, … “I pray that You'll anoint our eyes with the eye-salve that it might be opened to the Truth; that we might leave here, saying within our hearts. "Did not our hearts burn within us as He spoke to us along the road."

Now, this of course is taken from Revelations chapter 3 where Jesus tells the Laodicea church to apply eye-salve so they can see.

Revelations 3:13  He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.”

Now, why would he says he that hath an ear?” Don’t all humans have ears?

Yes, of course they do, but that is not what he’s saying here, He is not saying “He that has ears”. He is saying “he that hath an ear that is capable of hearing and understanding.

You see, the same Spirit of Jesus that is speaking to the church here, spoke through the son of God in Matthew 13:where He said the same words,  Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.”

And then Jesus clarifies what he means in verse 10.

Matthew 13:10  “And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?

Notice right after he says, “he that hath an ear to hear”, they then ask him this question asking him why he speaks in parables in his teaching. Now listen to his answer here.

11  “He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

The word given means granted. In other words it is bestowed upon or conferred to one group but not on the other. It is still withheld from them. So we see, one group is granted understanding while the other is not granted understanding. Therefore there is something about the way Jesus taught the word of God that it actually hid the true meaning from one group while opening up the understanding to the others.

The teaching method Jesus used was parables, and he used it to hide from the one group the understanding of His Message, while nailing down that understanding to the other group, the selected and elected group to know.

Unveiling of God 64-0614M P:13 May the Lord add His blessings to the reading of His Word. Now, my subject this morning, I trust that God will reveal this. And each time, if you who take the tapes and listen, and I hope and trust that you have had a spiritual understanding of what that God has been in trying to get over to the church without saying it right out. See? It's a thing sometime, we have to say things in such a way, that it might thin down, it might bring some to go out, some to leave, and some to ponder over. But that's done purposely. It must be done that way.

And then Jesus tells us why in Matthew 13:12  For whosoever hath, (Whosoever is made in such a way as to be able to echo) to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, (whosoever echoes not) from him shall be taken away even that he hath. (is trying to echo)

Now, an echo must be made with the same understanding as the original or it not an echo. If someone spoke something in my own language, and I understood what he was saying, then I could not only repeat what he said, but say it the very same way thus giving the same expression, same inflection, and thus the same understanding of what the other person said. But what if that person speaks another dialect, tongue or language that I do not understand. Then I could not say what they say, because I could not even give you the right inflection of what they said even if I could imitate what they were saying.

Now, to give an example of this Br. Don,  echo what I say here, “God bless you, I am praying for you.”

Now, was his echo good or bad? But now, Sister Halina, say that in Polish please.  Niech cię Bóg błogosławi, proszę o ciebie”.

Ok, now brother Don, go ahead and try that one on for size? So how was br. Don’s echo? Did he have the same inflection? Did he have the same pronunciation?

Now, Jesus continues, 13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, (and here is the key) because neither do they understand.

Ok, so he did not echo because he did not understand what you were saying in the dialect you were speaking. Not to say he did not understand in English what you were saying in Polish, because he knew that I said for you to say the same thing in Polish. But because his hearing was without understanding, He doesn’t understand Polish, and therefore, what br. Don thought had sounded like good Polish may have been off quite a bit.

I will never forget a story that was told to me when I was in England years ago, of a brother From England who went to Germany and he had asked a brother to tell him how to say “good night’ in German so he could say it to the people as they were leaving the service that evening. The brother told him to say,  Guten Nacht” which means “good night” as the couples left. But he said “guten nocken” which means “Good nocks” and when he said that to the couples as they left, they were quite embarrassed that a preacher would talk that way to them. “what does he mean by that?” And so they didn’t know how to take what he had said and so they left embarrassed.  But he wasn’t embarrassed because he didn’t know he had insulted them

berliner donutBut this minister shouldn’t feel bad because President John F Kennedy pronounced himself as a jelly donut in Germany when he said, "Ich bin ein Berliner." This phrase was made in Berlin on June 26, 1963 in a speech by President John F. Kennedy in West Berlin that can either be interpreted as "I am a Berliner" or "I am a jelly donut." Therefore, it is very important to know what is being said, because if you do not, then you could not possibly echo what is being said.

There as Jesus said, “he that hath ears to hear let him hear” and he tells us what ears to hear are. He says ears that can hear are ears that can understand. For hearing is to understand.

From his sermon Hear recognizing and Acting upon The word 60-0221 P:18 brother Branham said Abel by revelation, by grace he seen beyond that, and by faith he offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain. And it testified of his righteousness. God”...(and always remember, the old English word “righteousness” comes from two English Word right and wise-ness), or to be rightly wise.

Brother Branham continues, “The same thing took place in Ishmael and Isaac. One was of the flesh, and the other one was of the Spirit: “one of the bondswoman; one of the freewoman.”  It happened the same thing in Israel and Moab, two great churches coming together. And when Israel was wanting to go to their promised place, church spiritual, Jacob's people, Israel on the road, Esau's people met them, Moab, church powerful. And the great leader of the church, Balaam came down to curse his brother, but he found that he could not curse his brother. He failed with the blindness of his eyes to see the predestinated plan, and to see the Word of God. First, faith cometh by hearing, hearing of the Word of God.” Then the believer hears It, recognizes It, and acts on It. The carnal man will hear It, the sound of It, but never... "Hear" means to "understand" It. Look at, is looking at something; but to see it, is to "understand" it. "Except a man be borned again, he cannot see or understand the Kingdom of God."

And from his sermon Mark of the beast 61-0217 P:73 he also said, “But if you hear the trumpet... See, hearing, “faith cometh by” what? Hearing. Now, not just listen with your ear, but if you hear that means you understand it, you accept it. "I hear you; I believe it." See? It's hearing. Stephen said, "You stiff-necked, uncircumcised in the heart and ears..." See, uncircumcised... They could hear it with the ears but uncircumcised, they couldn't believe it. See? Uncircumcised in the heart and ears, understand it. "Oh, it's all a mystery to me, like Cain. Take it or leave it. I joined church, that's as good as I can do." All right, Cain. You'll mark with the beast and go right on off in your denomination. But you can come to Christ and be sealed by the Holy Ghost. You can take your choice. Now, watch. You hear the Gospel trump... What is the Gospel trumpet? The good news, the Holy Ghost is here. How do you know it is? Watch It work; see what It does. It's the good news.”

And how do we know the Parousia of Christ is in process? Because when Jesus spoke of it, and paul spoke of it, and John, and Peter and James all spoke of it they laid out signs and events that would take place, and we know that God interprets His Word by bringing it to pass.

And as Jesus said in Matthew 13 They can hear the sound of it, but because they do not understand it therefore they are dull of hearing.

And then he continues, 14  “And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, ‘By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:’”

In other words as brother Branham said in the Sardisean church age 60-1209 P:67 They read the same Bible that we read. See? But they just didn't take all of It, because It wasn't revealed to them.”

Or like he said in The Unveiling of God,  pp.121 where he said, They know that Glory; they read of It, It's in the Word here, of the Glory of God and things like that; it's just a word to them. To us it's a manifestation. See? It is no more a word; it's a reality. Amen. God said, "Let there be light." That was the word, but now there is light. It ain't the word; it's the light. See what I mean? 122 Now, it isn't just a written Word to us; it's a reality.”

So they can read the same bible as you read but they cannot see the manifestation of it.

Then Jesus says, 15 “For this people's heart (that’s their understanding) is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, (their ears are dull of understanding) and their eyes (their eyes arte the prophets according to Isaiah 29:10 For the LORD hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath he covered.”

So they closed their eyes to the prophets as Jesus says in quoting from Isaiah 29:10) their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. 16  But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. 17  For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

Now, back to Revelations chapter 3:14  And unto the angel (small “a” earthly messenger) of the church of the Laodiceans write; So this is specific instructions for the 7th church age messenger to speak to the church age he comes to minister to, “These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;  15  I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16  So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. 17  Because thou sayest, I am rich, (so this will be the richest age of all 7) and increased with goods, (and this will be the most materialistic age of all church ages) and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, (that means they are beggars, more people on the public dole than at any time in history, when the Bible says, “if a man doesn’t work then he shouldn’t eat.2 Thessalonians 3:10

But they don’t want the Word of God any longer, they want government to take care of them) and they are also blind, and naked: 18  I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

So brother Branham makes reference to this scripture in his opening prayer and we have seen that God has an eyes salve for our eyes, so that we can see with our eyes, and hear with an understanding, and that eye salve is the Holy Ghost as the apostle Paul so beautifully explains in 1 Corinthians 2:

1 Corinthians 2:7  But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:  Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.  But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, (Nor has ear understood) neither have entered into the heart (the understanding) of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10  But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for The Spirit (and there is only one The Spirit and that is The Spirit of God, and he says God’s Spirit) searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 11  For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God knows. 12  Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 13  Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14  But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. Anakrino.

In other words it takes the Holy Spirit in you to discern the things of God.)15  But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, (That word “judgeth” is translated from the same Greek word anakrino as we see in verse 14.) so we can read this as But he that is spiritual discerns all things, “yet he himself is discerned of no man. 16  For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

So you see, it takes the Holy Spirit in you to be able to hear with an understanding the things of God, and no man can understand the things of God unless he has the Holy spirit in him.

From his sermon The Trial 64-0419 P:20  brother Branham said, ‘The Holy Spirit should know, for He is the Life that's in the Word. He's the One that quickens the Word, just like your spirit quickens your body. And the body is quickened by the spirit; without the spirit, the body is of no effect; the body's dead. And the Word is dead without the Spirit. It takes the Spirit to bring forth the Word, to make It live. And He is the Quickener of that Word”…

And from his sermon Thirst 65-0919 P:29 brother Branham said, 'Cause Jesus said, "If we add one word to This, or take one Word from It, our part's taken out of the Book of Life." See, not one Scripture. We must take It just the way It's written. And God watches over His Word to perform It, and we know that It's got to be just right. So therefore, no matter what a church would say, what anyone else would say, if you're borned of the Spirit of God, you become part of the Bible. God told Ezekiel; he was a prophet; He said, "Take the scroll and eat it," then the prophet and the scroll became part of each other. And that's the believer when he receives the Holy Spirit; the Holy Spirit wrote the Bible, and the Spirit of God is the Word of God. "My Words are Spirit. In the beginning was the Word; the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us." Hebrews 13:8, "He's the same yesterday, today, and forever." And when you are a part of that Word, oh, then let something come up contrary to that Word, [Brother Branham snaps his finger several times--Ed.] there's a little buzzer sets off right quick. See, It's to warn you that death is in the road. We should never do that…

Now, getting back to this eye-salve, which the word “salve” speaks of an anointing oil for the eyes for healing. Also when we use the word salve, it speaks of healing properties. Many of us use one sort of salve or another for bee stings, sun burn, cuts and even bruises. And when we think of a salve we think of healing properties. And when Jesus says,  anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. That is because he also told them their condition was that they were blind and naked and didn’t even know it. They might have had eyes but they couldn’t see, so he says I have given you an anointing oil of My Spirit as a salve for your eyes. And that ties in perfectly with what the apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 2 that the purpose of the Holy Spirit in us is to open our hearts, our eyes, and our understanding to the things of God.

Even the Apostle John said the very same words in 1 John 2:20  But ye have an unction (an anointing) from the Holy One, and ye know all things. So the anointing oil of the holy ghost is for giving us an understanding of the Word of God.

From his sermon Door in a door 63-0223 P:81 brother Branham said, “I tell you; there's come a cold spell across the church, and coon grease will never work. But Jesus said, "I counsel you to buy eye-salve," the Holy Spirit. You're becoming so blind, the church is, until it can't see God. It only sees its organization. It only sees that what it can see in front of it. It never looks out yonder to the soon coming of the Lord. Coon grease will never do that any good, but the salve of the Holy Spirit will open your eyes, and you can realize that the presence of Jesus Christ... And He's the same yesterday, today, and forever. He is God, and He can salve your eyes with His Holy Spirit.

So not only does the eye salve of the Holy Spirit open  our eyes to know our condition, but he says it opens your eyes to The Presence of God. And yet we have so many people who cannot see that the great Parousia Presence of the Holy Ghost is in our midst. What they need is the eye-salve of the Word which is the Holy Ghost upon the Word, which is Matthew 25, they need “the oil in their lamps.”

And in his sermon God's power to transform 65-0911 P:95 brother Branham calls this eye salve the Word of God, for God is Spirit and He is the Word, “in the beginning was the Word and the Word was God.But the people are willfully sinning. It's brought the whole system of church world today into a willful sin against God. Why, common decency will prove to you that it's right. All right. A lust veil blinded her eyes, to the Word of God, and she finds herself naked again. You know, God, in Revelations 3 said, "Come, buy some eye salve from Me, that your eyes might be opened." See? The eye salve is His Word.

And from his sermon Doors in door 65-0206 P:93 He opened my eyes with His eye salve. His Spirit came down and warmed the Bible, His eye salve. I couldn't see It. I was just a local Baptist pastor. But one day He sent His Spirit down, not the coon grease did He get hot, but He sent the Holy Spirit and fire. A little eye salve raked across my Bible, and I could see with my eye, I mean raked across my eyes so I could see my Bible. And I seen that He was the same yesterday, today, and forever. "Let every man's word be a lie, and Mine be true. I stand at the door and knock."

And who is standing at the Door? Christ the Word in Revelations chapter 3 and in James 5 That one is called the Judge  of all the earth and As Jesus said at the end time His Word will be the Judge.

Revelation 3:20  Behold, I (and I is a personal pronoun) I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come into him, and will sup with him, and he with me. 21  To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. So this personal pronoun is a person, and it is the son of God, who is the Word of God. 22  He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

James 5:8  Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming (Parousia) of the Lord draweth nigh.  Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door.

Notice he is talking about the Word and Judge at the time of the Parousia, and that is the white wigged one we see in that picture on your left over the piano.

And of Course Jesus tells us who will be the judge at the end time in John 12:47  And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. 48  He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

Now in getting back to brother Branham’s opening prayer, we read,  I pray that You'll anoint our eyes with the eye-salve that it might be opened to the Truth; that we might leave here, saying within our hearts. "Did not our hearts burn within us as He spoke to us along the road."

“That our eyes might be opened to the truth.” So what is Truth?

Well, he gives us an example when he says, that we might leave here, saying within our hearts. "Did not our hearts burn within us as He spoke to us along the road."

Did not our hearts burn within us as He spoke to us along the road. And we have been walking this road for 66 years since the prophet went beyond the curtain of time for a needed rest before he comes back in the resurrection with another 40 days of ministry. But what burned within them was the Word which was anointed by the Spirit of God.

Now, in winding down let’s turn to the book of Isaiah chapter 6 and begin reading from verse 1.

Isaiah 6:1  In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.  (so here is this prophet of God who was 1st cousin to king Uzziah, Their fathers were brothers, and he was also God’s prophet, so he had access to the Kings libraries and lived in the kings court. And now we read that His cousin King Uzziah dies.)

And it was at that time that Isaiah had a visitation from the Lord by means of a vision. And he says in this vision, “I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.   Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly. 3  And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory. 4 And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.

And the affect of the vision was quite troubling to Isaiah, a prophet of God, and we see that effect in verse.

5 Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, (lips that are polluted) and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips (polluted lips) for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts. 6 Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal (a hot stone) in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar: (showing how hot it was that even an angel could not handle it)

7 And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.  8  Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.  9  And he said, Go, and tell this people, “Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.10  Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed. 11  Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate, 12 And the LORD have removed men far away, and there be a great forsaking in the midst of the land. (that is the great falling away)

Now, brother Branham speaks to us concerning Isaiah’s experience here in several sermons that we will read from.

From his sermon Influence 63-0803E P:84  brother Branham said, “Now, the Holy Spirit is here. There may be ones in here... We are--we're... We have, we have been praying for the sick, but I'm making an altar call. I'm making an altar call to both professors and those who have never made a profession. I'm asking you to go with me to the temple of God which is within you. Go to the confession booth of your heart, and say, "Lord God, cleanse me. And send the Angel with a coal of Fire and take from me all unbelief, that this night I might recognize the Presence of God, as Isaiah the prophet did when the Angel touched him." I want you to do that, and really be sincere.

And that is one thing I have always wondered, do people really believe that God is here? I have personally seen too many indications and vindications of His presence with me to ever doubt, but have we entered so into that presence that we feel that coal of fire upon our mouth and our hearts, that it has really changed our outlook on life from a self centered life to one that is totally dead to self. Because that is what I Isaiah felt like when he said, “woe is me I am come undone” I am a goner.” And if you have never come to that place you have never yet become aware of His presence like you should be. Because no man can truly live in God’s presence and be content with himself, his wife or his children and grand children. For God is holy and men’s holiness is as filthy rags in his presence. And what we need is the Holy Ghost Fire to come in and completely cleans our beings if we are to ever come into His presence and receive a body change. We need an experience, all of us, Like the prophet Isaiah had.

The Bible tells us no man can see God and live. That is how terrifying it is, so when you feel anything other than a coal of fire upon your lips and heart, it isn’t God’s Presence you came into. Brother Vayle told me that when God came into the room when he was with the prophet, he said Brother Branham looked like a hunted animal. His whiskers stuck straight out on his face.

From another of his sermons called Influence 63-1114 P:92 brother Branham said,The prophet confessed, caused him to say, "I'm a man of unclean lips." A prophet... God, we need another vision like that. When he saw up there, saw this cleansing power of God. Now, watch how God did. He sent one of the Seraphims and took the tong took a hot coal off the altar and put it in His hands, come laid Isaiah's head back and touched his lips, said, "Your iniquity is gone." Then Isaiah learned another lesson. I might drop this in. Might not be very appropriate, but I believe it is. Did you notice? God cleanses His prophets by Fire, not by theology or books of some kind. See? He cleans His people by Fire, Holy Ghost and Fire; not by declaration of creeds, or books, or something you've got to learn, a bunch of prayers, and so forth. He cleans them by Fire off of the altar. That's how He sets him in order. Yeah, Yes, sir. That's how He cleansed His prophets at the beginning, when a hundred and twenty was in an upper room, the Holy Ghost fell, and tongues of Fire set upon them. They were cleansed and ready for service. That's how God cleans. Not by learning, get a Bachelor of Art, or a DD., Ph.D., but getting Holy Fire from heaven, that takes the lying off of your lips, and takes the carnality out of you, burns that stuff away, that dross of the world, and puts His Presence in there and lives through that person. Holy Fire is what God cleans His Church with. Isaiah learned that. We ought to learn it, that God don't cleanse by knowledge. He cleans by Fire.

And he cleaned Moses by Fire when Moses came to see why the bush was burning but not destroyed, and God said “take off your shoes Moses, for the ground you are standing on is Holy. Why was that ground holy? Because it was in the Presence of God. That’s what made it holy. A holy Gd was standing there. And if we as human beings take our shoes off when we enter our homes so others living there might not walk on the disease and pollution that is on the bottom of our shoes, and we don’t want any of those bacteria and viruses to come into our home so our children do nt play on such a surface as that, can you image a Holy God standing on that dirty floor filled with the diseases and infections of our society? No, I can’t, and Neither can God for that is why he told Moses to take off his shoes. For the ground you are standing on has been consecrated to the Lord and sanctified by His holy Fire.

From yet another of his sermons called Influence 63-1130B P:79 brother Branham said,The prophet, a man who had been in the king's palace, known to be a prophet... Do you hear me? 'Caused this ordained prophet, the vision of the Lord caused him to cry, "Woe is me! I'm a man of unclean lips. I live among a people that's got unclean lips. And my eyes has seen the order of the Lord." Oh, minister brother, can you see it? "My eyes has seen the order of the Lord. Then come the cleansing. Here come the Cherubim with a coal of fire off the altar, that he'd took with his tongs, the tongs from the altar, put it in his hands. And took back Isaiah's head, because he was ready to confess, and confess that he was unclean, because he had looked to some bishop or somebody for his example, instead of looking towards God. Instead of looking towards the Word, he looked towards a creed, it'll put you back, "a man of unclean lips."And the Angel come with Fire, placed it upon his lips, and said, "Now you're clean."

Oh God, burn out all the unbelief in our hearts this morning, and may each and every one here and with us through the hookup this morning have a vision from you Lord of Your presence, and see how filthy our lives are before a Holy God, who is an all consuming fire. Oh, Father I pray that each of us might see what Isaiah saw, and may the same results take our lips and purge them, and our hearts and purify them.

Let me read you one more thought from his sermon also called by the same title, but preached in 1964 Influence 64-0315 P:67 and read to you what he said.  Did you notice how God?... We see how God set His servants in order and what He fixed him with, how he could be humble, reverent, and put hisself in action. Watch. When He cleansed the servant, He never done it by a seminary. He never done it by a bunch of books. We find here that God cleansed His servants by fire. A coal of fire touched the prophet, cleaned his lips. God cleans His servants by His holy fire, not by books, not by education, theology, but He cleaned His servants by fire. Then as soon as he was confessed and cleansed, then followed the commission. First he had to confess, then he had to be cleansed, and now it's a commission. It was then that the cleansed Isaiah cried, when he heard the voice of God said, "Who will go for us?"

Let us pray…

Can we sing that song together before we leave?

When the coal of Fire had touched the prophet,Making him as pure as pure could be,

When the voice of God said, "Who will go for us?" Then he answered, "Master, here, send me."

Speak, my Lord, speak, my Lord, Speak, and I'll be quick to answer me;

Speak, my Lord, speak, my Lord, Speak, and I will answer, "Lord, send me."

Millions now in sin and shame are dying; Listen to their sad and bitter cry;

Hasten, brother, hasten to their rescue; Quickly answer, "Master, here am I."

Speak, my Lord, speak, my Lord, Speak, and I'll be quick to answer me;

Speak, my Lord, speak, my Lord, Speak, and I will answer, "Lord, send me."
