Spoken Word #103

God Life the same yesterday, today and forever.

1 John 3:2  Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifies himself, even as he is pure.

Now, this morning we will look again at paragraphs 79 through 83 of the Spoken Word is the original Seed, and I want you to look at what brother Branham is saying here again this week, because there is so much here that if we are not careful we will read right past it and miss life changing words.  Brother Branham begins to turn a corner here in this sermon, showing us from the pattern that Christ laid out for all sons who must come into the image of the first born Son. And we know that  Jesus Christ is the Original Spoken Word Seed, the original manifestation of God-Life, and so too we as sons must also manifest the same God-Life that was manifested in the first born Son of God.

79   Now, yes, sir. He is... That's why God could work through Him. And what did He say when He was here on earth? "I do nothing until the Father shows Me," perfectly. And anything He done always was vindicated by the Scriptures. He said, "Search ye the Scriptures, for They are They that testify of Me, and if I don't do the things that they said they did, then I'm not that original Seed. But if I do do the things, then why don't you believe Me? (That's right.) If you can't even believe Me, the way I stand, then believe the Word that I say, believe the works that I do, because My Seed can only bear forth what I am."

You see, as we’ve been studying this sermon of Brother Branham’s, he said, “When God has a Word for a certain hour, then the vessel that God chooses to manifest that Word for that hour are the manifested Word of God for the day in which they live. But what I want for you to understand is that there are two parts to a manifested word. Those who manifest and those who receive that manifestation. For Jesus and Moses and Paul and William Branham would have never had a ministry if there had not been a people to receive it.

Super sign 63-1129 P:69  Many people wanted to accept Jesus. They thought they'd do it, "in some other convenient time," one said. They want to accept Christ, but they put it off too long. Some of them tried to get Him off their hands, and tried to wash it off with water, pass the buck on to somebody else, but it backfired. It's on your hands tonight, throwed right back in your lap. Hebrews 13:8, regardless of how many Council of Churches we have, still remains as Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever. "The works that I do..."

That’s John 14:12. Then he says, … If His Life is in you, it'll manifest Jesus Christ. Amen. 70 Now, you all can't be that one, but you can be a part of that with your faith. All of them couldn't be a Jesus, when they was on earth, but they could believe Him and accept the message. There was one Moses, one Elijah, one Noah, on down, always been that, but the rest of them could accept it. And they would've had no ministry unless there'd been somebody believe it. Jesus would've had no ministry 'less somebody believed it. Paul would've had no ministry 'less somebody believed it. The Holy Ghost has got no ministry by the Word today unless somebody's willing to get away from their creed and come back to the Word again, no matter how well it's here and how real it's here. It's here now. I know it's here. I feel it. I know it's here. The Word says it's here. "Wherever two or three are gathered in My Name, I'm in the midst of them." And I truly believe that He's here, the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Now, I hope you are beginning to understand what we are driving at here. He said no man, not even the Son of God, nor the Holy Ghost (that’s God)Himself, he doesn’t even have a ministry unless there are those who are ordained to receive it.

So then what is greater, the one with the ministry or the ones ordained to receive it. Who is greater, the actor performing his role, or the ones who pay to see him act.

This is something the ministry has forgotten in general and needs to come back to. Humility is lacking in our churches today among our people, and among the ministry.

But Jesus left us an ordinance of foot-washing, and when he washed the disciples feet he told them

In John 13:12 the Scriptures tells us,  So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you? 13  Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am. 14  If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet. 15 For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you. 16  Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. 17  If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.

Now, what is meant by this. Jesus saw the lack of humility in his disciples, for they were but men. So he showed them how to humble down. Take a towel and play the role of the foot-wash flunky. Humble yourself and wash your brothers feet. Servants and slaves wash the feet of their masters, and Jesus said, If I am your Lord and Master, and I wash your feet then you should take my example and do so as I show you how to be humble. Then we need to focus on the pattern and humble down.

If we have the same God-Life that was in the first born son, then no matter if we are the millionth born son, if we have the same God life in us, even if it is in a measure, it still will produce the same nature and the same characteristics that were displayed in the first born original seed life son of God.

What man would cross the oceans and place his life and limb at jeopardy of burning airplanes, giant hail storms in Africa or an angry mob try to kill you only because you are white. Who would risk Life and limb popularity? Or to take another man’s mantle? No, a man goes because His father tells him to go. He goes because of his passion for the Word of God and His Children. Jesus was such a man, and so was Paul, and William Branham. Preaching before angry crowds, they wanted to kill him in many instances, but God would not permit it until He had completed His work. Then and only then did God allow His only begotten son to be glorified by His death, burial and resurrection. And Jesus is the pattern for all sons. Paul fit that pattern. William Branham fit that pattern. Do you?

In 1 John 3:2 John says, Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: (he’s saying although we are seed of God, we don’t look like the original seed, but then he tells us) but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; (so we are going to be like him, but how will that happen. It looks like those following this Message are getting worse off as each year moves on instead of becoming more like him the church is literally drifting away from him. There passion for the Word is no more to be found. The all night prayer meetings is a thing of the past. The fervent desire to do what is right, and to tell others about the tremendous move of God is now so far distant from most that they have just resorted to coming to church as though it has become a tradition to them. And the church is dying. But what does the Scripture tell us is to happen at the great phaneroo of Christ in this hour? It says in verse 3  And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

That’s what’s missing from the churches today. That purification of self before God.

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. But there is condemnation in the hearts of the people and from the lips of the people. Why? because they are not walking after the spirit, but after the flesh. He said that there is no condemnation to those who are walking after the spirit. But let a man follow the leading of the Holy Spirit and watch the condemnation come. But mind you, it is not coming from those how are walking after the spirit but those who are walking after the flesh.

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. But that is the trouble we have in the churches because Paul is speaking of the law of the spirit of Life that is in Christ, and many people have the letter but are completely void of the spirit. Years ago I spoke to a certain church about the attitude some people had concerning their pastor, and I told them of a certain sister who said if my pastor told me to jump off a bridge I would do it because we are supposed to follow our pastor. Now, this church laughed out loud, and thought that was very funny. I was sad for them because they did  not see what I saw. They saw humor, I saw a deluded soul blindly following the footsteps of a man and not following the Word. So this church laughed, and yet 30 years later that same church is doing the same thing they laughed at. People following men and not Christ, and yet claiming to be followers of Christ.

For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4 That the right-wise-ness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

I am sorry to tell you this, but this message is not for carnal Christians. It is for spirit filled believers. And Paul told us that Christ condemned sin in the flesh that we might be set free from looking at the flesh, and focusing on the God behind that flesh. And he said those who are spirit filled will reflect the right-wiseness of the law in our mortal bodies. That is what we are ordained to do in this hour, believe it or not.

I was not sent to this earth at this time, to be religious, or to make a name for my self as some would have you think. I was sent to this earth at this time, to manifest God–Life. That God-Life is ordained to be manifested in this flesh by more than just a prophet to the age. You see, Paul spoke of many sons who are to be manifested and who are ordained to conform to the image of the first born son in a vast family of brothers. I was ordained for that. I was born for that. I was born to take this message to the World, and I am doing what I was born to do.

And contrary to what some might think, it is not I that has opened doors to 187 nations concerning this ministry. I would not have a ministry if they did not come. It is not my efforts that has translated my sermons into more than 9 languages. Brothers in many nations are translating them because they hold to the same Doctrine of Christ that I teach. It wasn’t my imagination that told me in 1983 that all this would happen. It wasn’t my own thoughts that told me to write out my sermons, because one day they would be read around the world. And to be read around the world they would have to be translated, and I haven’t translated one of them. I wouldn’t know how to begin to do so, but God has done it. God has raised up sons of God who believe this same relationship that I see in Christ Jesus with His Father. That same one who told me to get under Br. Vayle ministry, is the same one who told me one day my sermons would be read around the world, and He is the same one who stopped the great storm in Uganda, and who appeared as a living horizontal rainbow in Congo over the church I was speaking to the ministers about this wonderful relationship with our father as Christ was our pattern for all sons.

Call it what you may, but I believe God is still on the scene leading and guiding us to the image of His first born son. I am simple enough to believe that God still calls men who will humble themselves and who are simple-minded enough to follow God’s leading. I guess I am just naïve enough to believe that God will still back up a ministry with signs and wonders if that person just surrender themselves to God and His Word. And I do not believe you have to be a prophet to have God back up what He has sent you to teach.  God has backed up all his servants through out the ages whether they be prophets or farmers with just a cattle prod, or even humble shepherds.

All those who take God at His Word He is more than willing to guide and lead and back up with His presence those who follow His leading. Because it does not matter what portion of His Spirit you have, that nature never changes and will do the same in 1% as it will in 100% measure. For He is the same yesterday, today and forever.

From the sermon Perseverant 62-0719E P:26 brother Branham said, This what you see here is an amateur vision. It's just small things. You do that yourself. It's you. Look at Christ. He was the Fullness of God. God dwelt in Christ without measure. He had the Spirit without measure; we have It by measure. But if I got a spoonful of water out of the lake out here... The ocean, that's what was in Christ. If I got a spoonful of water, just be a spoonful of water out of it. But the same chemicals that's in the entire ocean is in that spoonful, just not... It's not as much of it, but the same chemicals. And if we have the Spirit of God in us, it's the same works and the same Spirit, the same manifestation. See? It just... Then you base your faith upon that. And when you see what it is, then you can be perseverant. You know where you're standing.

And as he said, when you see what I am talking about you know where you are standing, you know you are a son, and you know your Father is no respecter of persons, and what one son asks for and receives, he must answer in the same way whatever son asks him in that same way for that same thing.

Luke 11:9  And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. 10  For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. 11  If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? 12  Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?  13  If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

From Brother Branham’s sermon, New ministry William Branham 59-0406 P:38 he said, Now, that's the way that High Priest acted in the days gone by when He was here on earth. If He is that same High Priest tonight, the only thing you have to do is touch Him, and He will act the same way He did then, if you'll touch Him with that kind of a touch. Do you believe then? Certainly He will. Now, here's what did it. Now, we have the Spirit by measure. And Christ had It without measure. We... Just like taking a spoonful of the water out of the ocean, He had the whole ocean. But the same chemicals that's in the spoonful is in the whole ocean, but not as much of it. So that's the way a Christian is. We're nothing to compare with Him. But we have a portion of His Spirit in us, and then It acts like Him. That's what makes us love people, and try to help people, and do good, is because that Spirit of Christ in us.

Oh, I hope you are seeing what I have been preaching about for these past few years. It’s not enough to say, I believe the Message, but we must get into it, and apply it in our lives.

Token the 63-0901M P:113 Notice, they were not just yet come together to talk about the message. They come together to apply the blood, to apply the token. That's what you must do. Pastor Neville, and to this congregation, trustees, deacons, to you brethren, it's time that we laid aside all the foolishness of the world, time we laid aside everything else. We've seen enough now, that we're positive, sure, and the Token must be applied. Without it, you're going to perish; you must perish. That is the only thing. Oh, don't come together, say, "I believe it." Get beneath it. Get into it. How to do it? By one Spirit we're baptized into the Body of Jesus Christ. Everybody believe with all your heart. See? He was not responsible for any out from beneath it.

If you believe you have submitted your life to Him, then allow to use your vessel in any way he would like. Let Him use you in whatever form or fashion He so chooses. Now, that being said, I don’t know what all these brothers see in me. But I do know my motives are pure, and lined up with His Will because they are lined up with His Word. I believe that with all my heart. But I see too much of myself, yet others see Christ. I see myself like my critics do. But others see Gods hand moving and guiding me to go here and there and then when I am obedient, He manifests His supernatural presence in ways that is not being done in other ministries today, So why is that?

Paul said, 8  So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9  But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

In other words if you do not have the life of your father you are not a son. 10  And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of right-wise-ness. 11  But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.  Now, what doe sit mean to quicken your mortal bodies? Does that speak only of the change of the body? Or is he talking about God making use of your body as he did his own son, of his Prophets? 12  Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. 13  For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.(Now, this is the key. If we are sons of God then God wants to see in us that which would please him for a son to act. So our character is very important concerning the time of adoption. For when the Elect knows who she is, and are ready to be placed as sons, then we will go to our eternal inheritance, and not until.)

Former and latter rain 60-0303 P:48 Now, it's never been since that time until now, because Jesus said it would not be. That's right. But now we're here. Now, let the God of heaven, Who wrote this work, let the Son of God Who died and rose again and His ever living Presence, let that High Priest, that is the Son of God, come to me and speak and use my body, use my lips, 'cause the only lips He has is yours and mine. See, His body's at the right hand of God, will not return. When that returns, it's all over, but His Spirit is here working. He said, "I am the Vine; you're the branches." The vine doesn't bear fruit. It only gives life to the branch to bear fruit. Now, it'll bear the same kind of fruit that's the life is in the vine. And if Jesus is the same, yesterday, today, and forever, it'll produce that life.

True Easter seal 61-0402 P:121 Now, if He's still God, won't He do the same thing? The woman that touched His garment...Some of you women, or some of you there that had raised your hand, a woman somewhere, I believe... Where? The little lady on the end, would you raise your hand? All right. You, all right, I'm a stranger to you? I don't know you? All right. You just see if He's still the High Priest that can be touched by the feeling of your infirmity. I never seen you in my life. You're a stranger to me. I know nothing about you. God does know you. And if He can reveal to me by His Holy Spirit, the resurrected Christ Who come here, and give me a temporarily resurrection by my spirit, that my spirit goes away now and His Spirit comes in, then to let you know whether He's alive or not. Now, I don't know you. That's me, me and my spirit; we don't know you. But He knows you. But He wants to borrow my body to prove that He's the resurrected Christ. I'm so happy to loan it to Him, give it to Him, anything He can get out of it.

So what about you? What would your attitude be if God wants to use your body? What if God wants to use your lips to speak to someone, or your hands to help someone, or your heart to pray for someone? Will you lend it to him? You shouldn’t have to feel bad because God wants to use you? Why should you be afraid of that? Just let go and let God.

So what spirit is there in a person who tries to plant fear among sons of God so they will not do anything for the father? It Is not the spirit of God. It’s the spirit of the devil. And how do they plant fear? They say, what’s your motive? Who do you think you are? Your just trying to make a name for yourself?

Isn’t that the same attitude the brothers took towards Joseph? He could no more help it that he had visions and dreams than nothing. It was his nature. He was born for that purpose. But because he was different they became angry with him, and sold him into slavery. They hated him without a cause. He was not responsible for his father loving Him more than the other brothers? He was not responsible for the dreams God gave him. So they hated him without a cause.

And look, they did the same with Paul. Paul wasn’t one of the old timers. He did not hunt with Jesus and eat with Jesus and travel in the meetings with Jesus. But He did meet Him in the power of His Glory, and Paul was so obedient to the heavenly vision that he went wherever God sent him. And so will every son of God that is led by the Spirit of God.

14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God. 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.  And we know the spirit of adoption is what gets us ready for the change of the body. Have you received that same spirit that Paul had, and Joseph had, and The Son of God had? Are you willing to be led of the Spirit? If not then you have not received the Spirit of Adoption. But that Spirit has come down in this hour to lead and guide us into our proper roles, and position in the body of Christ.

For 16  The Spirit (God’s Own Spirit ) Itself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God. (So it is not whether your spirit agrees with God’s Word, but rather it is His Spirit that must bear witness with our spirit that we are His sons or daughters.

17 And then if we are indeed children, then we are indeed heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

18  For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. (notice in us, not just to us but in us, the revelation in us, living and abiding in our mortal beings.) 19  For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. (in other words, all God’s creation is waiting for you to manifest what you were ordained to be before the foundations of the world. So if you are sons, then act like sons. Be sons, take your position in the body.) 20  For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,(and what is hope? It’s an earnest expectation. We earnestly expect the revelation to produce what it says it will.)

21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. That word glorious mean sit has the values, opinions and judgments of our Father, and having the mind of Christ sets us free from peoples petty jealousies, and fear tactics that would hold you back from expressing just what God formed and fashioned you for. 22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not being who you were ordained to be is a very painful thing for us. Because as Paul said, for when I would to do good evil is present with me. But I thank my God who through Jesus Christ my Lord who gives me the victory over myself.

Romans 7:15  For that which I do I don’t make allowances for, but  what I should be doing, I don’t seem to get around to it. but on the other hand what I hate is what I find myself doing. 16  If then I do that which I don’t want to do I must  consent that the law  is good. 17 Therefore, then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. 18  For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I don’t seem to find myself doing. 19 For the good that I would like to be doing, I do not find myself doing at all.  And on the other hand, the evil which I would not think of doing, is what I find myself  doing. 20  Now if I do that what I don’t want to do, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. 21  I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. 22  For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: 23  But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. 24  O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? 25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

Therefore in getting back to Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. 29  For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30  Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. 31  What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? 32  He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? 33  Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. 34  Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. 35  Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36  As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37  Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38  For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39  Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
