Spoken Word no. 194
“The
Two seeds, Life and death”
Brian Kocourek, Pastor
October 13th, 2010
This evening we will speak again from The spoken Word is
the Original Seed. This will be number 194 in our series.
I was talking to br. Billy Paul yesterday and he
mentioned to me that brother Branham said if you wish to know the Message, it’s
in this Sermon, and that is so right. So let’s read from
pp. 61
When Adam come to his wife, she was pregnant. She'd done something. She was
mixed. She just hybrid the child,
and it died. But when Joseph come to
his bride, she was impregnated, but with
Life. Adam's wife, or Adam's bride, when Adam, before they came together,
just like Joseph and Mary, just like Christ and the church now... Don't you see
it? See? And before they came together, Adam and Eve, she was impregnated with a corrupt seed from the
serpent; and when Adam come to his wife he found her impregnated to death. See? Death, how? Spiritually, physically dead. But when Joseph, the human, come to
his wife (Glory, can't hardly hold her.), she was impregnated with Life, the
Word of God flesh among...?...
62
Bring back that spoken Word, bring
back that Word of God which was Word here, come through a human's womb... Amen.
God will do it anyhow. He spoke it, and
it's got to be so. Oh Glory. Amen. That's
our God. Oh, that's rich, brethren, if you can dissolve it --you can hit
it. That's where He found them.
63
When Adam come to his wife, she was
impregnated with the wrong seed. When Jo... That seed died. When Joseph
come to his, she was impregnated. Now, what caused the different impregnation?
Because that Adam's wife doubted the
Word. Is that right? Joseph's bride
believed the Word. That's the
difference. So what is it then? It's the Word. Oh, that precious Word. It
was... The world was formed by the Word
of God. Hallelujah. There's my stay
right there. Let all denominations and everything else fall and do what
they are going to. On that Word I stand.
That's why I have done what I've done. That's
why I've downed denominations. You say, "Why, he's just a, breaks up
churches." They said the same
thing about our Lord. Just say it every time. See?
64 Now, now, he found her.
Christ comes to His Bride. What does He find her? Same thing. Why? When she
first started out... (Now, listen, I don't want you to miss this.) When she
started out, she was a virgin. She was going to be all right. She went right on
in that early church. It's to be wonderful. God gave him a Bride, and what did
she do? If you know history, in 606 she goes right down there and
impregnates herself with Roman dogma, a organization. And from that on, that old mother whore in the Bible
give birth to churches, and they were harlots, which is a whore. That's
Protestants, because they was every one born right out of her and everyone took
her own thing--organization. Now, do
you see why I'm against it? All right.
I want you to notice that brother Branham here is
speaking of two seeds, life and death. The One seed which genders to Life is
because the Word is alive to them that have this seed. Because this is a living
seed, full of life. But that other seed which genders to death, it has to use
organization to hold its people together, because it has no life in it. So the
Word of God coming alive to the one is what moves them and motivates them, while
the other is held together by organization, which is death.
Revelation
2:21 And I gave her space to repent
of her fornication; and she repented not.
22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them
that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of
their deeds. And I will kill her
children with death; and all the
churches shall know that I am he
which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you
according to your works.
So God who is the word discerns the heart and knows
what seed lays in there, either life or death. Now, I would like you to see
this is not just what Brother Branham thinks, it is what the Apostle Paul taught
us as well in the book of Galatians.
Galatians
4:19 My
little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,
You see, there it is
again. We are talking about being conformed to the Image of the first born son.
That is Romans 8.
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together
for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image
of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
And not only to be conformed to that Image, but the
literal Life that was in the Son of God is to be formed inside of you.
Remember, Jesus said in John 7: 24 Judge not according to the appearance, but
judge righteous judgment.
And in 1 Samuel
16:7 we read, “But the LORD said
unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature;
because I have refused him: for the LORD
seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD
looketh on the heart.”
And that is what we need to
look upon as well, because if Christ is to be formed IN us, then it will
not be an outward thing that takes place. Brother Branham taught us that if he
came in this hour with nail scar hands and long hair and robe it would not be
the way he would come. The
Luke 17: 20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees,
when the
So he is saying it will not be an outward show, but
something that although will be in their very midst, yet they will not
recognize it, therefore they shall not see it, nor will they be aware of it,
unless it is alive in their hearts, and then they will see it.
So you see God’s Kingdom deals with the heart that is
alive to God and His word. But the heart that is not born again is focused like
all religions on the outward appearance only, and not on a surrender to the
perfect will of God.
Now let’s take a look at the unregenerate heart, the
seed of death as brother Branham put it, and let’s look at this first to see
its response to the Word of God made manifest in flesh.
Acts 7: 54 When they heard these things, they were cut
to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.
Acts 5:33 When they heard that, they were cut to the heart, and took counsel to
slay them.
Mark 7: 21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries,
fornications, murders,
Matthew 15:19 For out
of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications,
thefts, false witness, blasphemies:
Luke 6: 45 A
good man
out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is
good; and an evil man out of the
evil treasure of his heart bringeth
forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
Matthew 15: 18 But those things which proceed out of the
mouth come forth from the heart; and
they defile the man.
Matthew 12: 35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure (stored up in his
heart) bringeth
forth evil things.
Matthew 12: 34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being
evil, speak good things? for out of the
abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
So you see God and Satan
wish to lead us through the heart. But if the heart (which is your
understanding) has no life in it, then the devil will use it.
John 13: 2 And supper being ended, the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's
son, to betray him; So the betrayal was placed into his heart by satan.
So you see the devil dealt with his
heart, but God wants to deal with the hearts of His Children.
That is why we see in Acts 28: 27 For the heart of this people (the understanding of
this people has become hardened and) is waxed gross, and their ears are
dull of hearing, and their eyes have
they closed; lest they should see
with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and
should be converted, and I should heal them.
2 Corinthians 3: 3 Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to
be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the
Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.
And that is why his word
discerns our hearts. Hebrews 4: 12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful,
and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of
soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Ephesians 6: 6 Not with eye service, as men pleasers; but
as the servants of Christ, doing the
will of God from the heart;
2 Corinthians 8: 16 But thanks be to God, which put the same earnest care into the heart of Titus for
you. Now, Paul is speaking of Titus in whom God put the same care he had for
the people into Titus heart. But you can leave that name blank and insert your
name if you wish.
But thanks be to God, which put the same earnest care into
the heart of Michal for you. But thanks be to God, which put the same earnest care into the heart of Darek for
you. But thanks be to God, which put the
same earnest care into the heart of Glenn for you. But thanks be to God, which put the same earnest care into
the heart of Wesley for you. But thanks be to God, which put the same earnest care into the heart of Nick But
thanks be to God, which put the same
earnest care into the heart of Adam for you. for you.
You see what I mean, God
wants your heart alive to His Word. That is the One seed that brother Branham
is speaking of, the seed with life. And if only you new what he has planned for
you it would stir your heart to come alive for sure.
1 Corinthians 2: 9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor
ear heard, neither have entered into the
heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
Romans 10:10 For with
the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession
is made unto salvation. And righteousness is life. That is what the Scriptures
tell us, and it comes by really understanding what Grace is all about. It is a
free gift, not one that we use as a tool to manipulate others, but Grace has
great tolerance for differences.
Notice what Paul tells us in
Galatians 3: 21 Is the law then against the promises of God?
God forbid: for if there had been a law given which
could have given life, then verily righteousness
should have been by the law. But you see, law and legalism does not
produce life, only death, stoning, and the curse of death to break the law.
So Paul tell us in Romans 5: 21 That as sin (disbelief) hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord. Notice that
Grace using a rightly wise Understanding is what brings Life.
And again in Romans 5: 17 Paul tells us For if by one man's offence death reigned by
one; much more they which receive abundance
of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ. Again we see it is through grace and righteousness
that Life will reign in us. Look, no one wins when the church atmosphere is
legalistic and closed to the outside. Everyone wins when Grace and
righteousness reign supreme in that church.
Romans 8: 10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead
because of sin (because of unbelief); but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
So what makes alive the spirit? Righteousness, which is
right-wise-ness.
Now, anybody can quote the Word and quote the Message,
but it takes a right-wise-ness to present it in such a way as to make it come
alive to those who hear it. Solomon prayed for wisdom and God gave it to him. Oh, if only the preachers would seek wisdom
from God as to how to help the sheep to relax and not be afraid of the boogy
man, instead of making up boogy man stories to frighten the sheep into
submission.
You know, you parents here and out there who hear
this, never tell your children lies and fearful stories. Tell them stories that
places Christ as their healer and Saviour and helper in times of need. Don’t
lift up the boogy man and use him as a
fear tool to make your children do the right things. Because if their motive is
wrong for what they do right, then it is still not acceptable to God.
As I mentioned a few
weeks ago Martin Luther in his preface to Romans said,
"How shall a work please God if it proceeds from an unwilling and resistant
heart. To fulfill the law however, is to do its works with pleasure and love,
and to live a godly and good life of one's own accord, without the compulsion
of the law. This pleasure and love is put into the heart by the Holy Ghost."
That is
why Brother Branham said you could have the right doctrine but if your heart is
wrong, then what good will it do you. God looks on the heart. That is why the
Scripture tells us that the love of God constrains us. That means it is our
motivator, or as Jesus said, my meat is to do the will of Him that sent me. In
other words, “my
motivation”, “my source of energy” “My meat is to do the will of Him that sent me."
Notice how Jesus Himself
tells us that it is from the heart where this love for god must come. Mark 12: 33 And to love him with all the
heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all
the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole
burnt offerings and sacrifices.
Romans 5: 18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment
came upon all men to condemnation; even so by
the righteousness of one the free gift (Grace) came upon all men unto justification of life.
Romans 6:17 But God be thanked, that ye were the
servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from
the heart that form of doctrine (that form of teaching, that
right-wise-ness, notice…) which was delivered
you. It was delivered to them to deliver them.
Again Paul said in Romans 2: 29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter;
whose praise is not of men, but of God.
Hebrews 13: 9 Be not carried about with divers and strange
doctrines. For it is a good thing that the
heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them
that have been occupied therein. So if we are to produce in us the seed of
Life, and if this is so, then from our heart we must first present grace by a
right wise-ness, because Grace quickens and makes alive that which was dead.
Let us pray…
