“The Harlot’s doctrine”

Now, back to Revelation 17:2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed
fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been
made drunk with the wine of her
fornication. Now, the wine of her fornication is her doctrine. And
she is said to have intoxicated the inhabitants of the earth with her doctrine.
In fact, that is what Brother Branham tells us in the
next paragraph in the Spoken Word if the original Seed, pp. 71. where he said, “So she
can't give Word birth to her children, none of them. She is a harlot herself. The Bible said she was. She had a cup in her hand and was giving out her doctrine to the people
which was the abomination of the filthiness of her fornication. What is a
fornication? It's living unclean. And for
her doctrine she's giving to the people, is the filthiness of her fornication.
And the kings of the earth and all was made drunk with the wine of her fornication. Exactly right. Look at them. Boy, they'd
cut your throat in a minute for that, not only Catholics, but Protestants.
Notice brother Branham said, She had a cup in
her hand and was giving out her
doctrine to the people which was the abomination of the filthiness of her
fornication. What is a fornication? It's living unclean. And for her doctrine she's giving to the people,
is the filthiness of her fornication.
Then why do not the brethren in this Message
understand that unless your doctrine is right, you can’t have a right spirit
which is the Holy Spirit. Don’t they know that your doctrine shows what seed
you are? Her doctrine is what she held in her cup, in her hands, and she, (the
Catholic church) poured what was in her cup out unto the kings and peoples of
the earth, and they drank it willingly like it was some stimulation, because
after all, wine represents the stimulation of revelation, and she had in her
hand a cup which is called the wine of her fornication. And we know fornication
is unclean living, and in this context it is unclean doctrine. That is why in Revelations 16:13 we
are told, “And I saw three unclean
spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon (that’s
the devil himself), and out of the mouth of the beast
(that’s the power behind the Catholic church), and out of the
mouth of the false prophet which is the pope.
The Pope claims on his throne the words, VICARIVS
FILEII DEI which means in the stead of the son of God, and the Latin numerals
add up to 666. So the Popes claim is
that he has taken the place of the Son of God on earth, which is a blasphemous
name.
Now, let’s look at
this doctrine which is Trinitarianism. The Bible said that out of the mouth of
the dragon which we know is satan, and it says so in Revelation 12: 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called
the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the
earth, and his angels were cast out with him. And again in Revelation 20: 2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old
serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, So
it really does not take a prophet to tell you this because it is very plain in
this Scripture. But for those who still want to be sure, brother Branham
himself said in Fourth seal the 63-0321 P:70, “And they worshipped the dragon...
(Who was the dragon? Satan. That right? The red dragon... All right.)... which gave power unto the beast:... (Where he get his power. See?)... and
they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who's able to
make war with him? And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things of
blasphemy; and power was given to him to continue forty and two months. And he opened his mouth in
blasphemy against God,... (There you are. See?
Oh, on a...)... to blaspheme his name,... (give him a title)... his
tabernacle... (which is the Holy Spirit's
dwelling place, to make it a place in
So there is not doubt
in our minds that the Woman is the Catholic church and she made the world drunken
with her doctrine, which her main doctrine is the Trinity which is from hell,
from the mouth of the great serpent, the devil himself.

320 You know, Jesus
said, "It'll come to pass that they'll even kill you, thinking they're
doing God a service." Wait till this new book of mine comes out. They shot
at some people the other night, for saying that it was wrong to unite the Roman
Catholic church with the Protestant. Three shots went through a building of a
friend of mine, just barely missed them. Wait till this book gets in
circulation. Don't think they are sinning; they think they're doing the right
thing. They think they're doing that for a cause for God, not knowing it. The Jews killed Jesus, thinking they were
doing the right thing, because their church doctrine said He was wrong. Oh,
said for them He... They crucified the very Bread that they were supposed to
live by.
So, you see, it’s always the DOCTRINE that declares
the difference between seeds, and separates between the two.
In examining Psalms
1: 1-4 1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the
counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the
seat of the scornful. 2 But his delight is in the
law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.3 And
he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his
fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth
shall prosper. 4 The ungodly are not so: but are
like the chaff which the wind driveth away.5 Therefore
the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of
the righteous.6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the
righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
Here we found that God likens man to a
tree that bringeth forth his fruit in his season;
but it also tells us that the ungodly are not so:
but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away." The scripture tells us we must have the right
fruit for the right season.
In Matthew 7: 16–20 Jesus said, Ye
shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth
good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.18 A
good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth
good fruit.19 Every tree that bringeth not forth
good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.20 Wherefore
by their fruits ye shall know them. Ye shall know them by their fruits!. So the fruits of each man will be known, and
therefore if we are to know the man we must know him by his fruits.
And what are
these fruits Jesus is talking about?
Well, first of all we know that Jesus said, " As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he,
and out from the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh" Therefore “as a man is so shall he think” and “then so shall he speak”. Therefore his fruits will
show what He is just as an apple, pear, orange, banana or mango, hanging on a
tree shows what type of tree it is.
When Jesus told
His disciples to beware the leaven of the Pharisees, they thought he was
speaking of bread, but he was not speaking of bread, he was speaking of
Doctrine.
Matthew 16:5 And
when his disciples were come to the other side, they had forgotten to take bread. 6 Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and
beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees. 7 And
they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have taken no bread. 8 Which when Jesus perceived, he said unto
them, O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have
brought no bread? 9 Do ye not yet understand,
neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye
took up? 10 Neither the seven loaves of the four
thousand, and how many baskets ye took up? 11 How
is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread,
that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees? 12 Then understood they how that he bade them not
beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the
Sadducees.
Therefore we
should be able to see from Scripture that a man's doctrine will declare what
that man is in his heart. From Anointed

Branham said, when referring to Matthew 7, "What is the fruit? It
is the teaching of the season.”

But it's what they produce that tells you the difference. "By their fruit,"
Jesus said, "you
shall know them." Man does not gather grapes off of a
thistle even though the thistle be right in the grapevine. That could be
possible, but the fruit will tell it. What is the fruit? The Word for, the fruit
for the season; that's what it is, their
teaching. The teaching of what? The
teaching of the season, what time it is, man's doctrine, denominational
doctrine, or God's Word for the
season. …
So we see then, that the season is all
important as to what fruit is to be manifested. And since the fruit is the teaching of the season, then the teaching will identify the season as
well as the seed of the tree. And remember the scriptures teaches that we are
likened to trees as we saw in Psalms 1. Right? So we see that the season has
characteristics which identify it. And these characteristics that we are
looking at here, is the fruit or teachings that are being presented to the
people by their church. And since we are looking at the harlots doctrine which
is represented by the wine glass full of idolatry we can see the identification
of that church as a prostitute to the nations.

During Jesus Alpha ministry on earth,
there were two things that caused more controversy among the Denominations of
His day, the Pharisees and Sadducees than anything else. We also found during
Brother Branham’s own ministry the same two Doctrinal points were contested mostly among the denominations and
Pentecostal churches than any other points he preached in his ministry.
In John 10 : 32-33
Then came the
Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt?
If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly. 25 Jesus answered them, I told
you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear
witness of me. 26 But ye believe not, because ye
are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. 27 My
sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28 And
I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any
man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which
gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my
Father's hand. 30 I and my Father are one. 31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. 32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I
shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? 33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we
stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest
thyself God. 34 Jesus answered them, Is it not
written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? 35 If he
called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be
broken; 36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath
sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the
Son of God? 37 If I do not the works of my Father,
believe me not. 38 But if I do, though ye believe
not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in
me, and I in him. 39 Therefore they sought again
to take him: but he escaped out of their hand,
We find here the most religious people the
Pharisees, were ready to stone Him
because of what He was expressing to
them doctrinally and that is His understanding of the Godhead, teaching the
doctrine fo Christ as John taught us also in 2 John 9-10. But he also taught us
that his doctrine was not his but His fathers that sent him.
That’s John 7;16. Let’s read it beginning at verse 14.
John 7:14 Now
about the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught.
15 And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters,
having never learned? 16 Jesus
answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. 17 If
any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God,
or whether I speak of myself. 18 He that speaketh of himself seeketh
his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true,
and no unrighteousness is in him. 19 Did not Moses give you the law,
and yet none of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about to kill me? 20 The
people answered and said, Thou hast a devil: who goeth about to kill thee? 21 Jesus
answered and said unto them, I have done one work, and ye all marvel. 22 Moses therefore gave unto you circumcision; (not
because it is of Moses, but of the fathers;) and ye on the sabbath day
circumcise a man. 23 If a man on the sabbath day
receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken; are ye angry
at me, because I have made a man every whit whole on the sabbath day? 24 Judge not
according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. 25 Then
said some of them of
Notice
how Jesus asked them why they would want to stone Him? He pointed to the
vindication and they didn't get it. They could not tie together the vindication
of God's presence with signs and wonders with the Word Jesus was Speaking to
them.
And so we see Jesus talking to them as we
read, I and My Father are
One. Then the Jews took up stones to stone Him. Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from My
Father; In other words, you know that these wonderful
miracles you have been witness to are beyond what a man could do, you know that
they have to come from God alone, for no other could do such. Many good works have I shewed you
from My Father; for which of those works do you stone me? Based
on vindication, of which of the Points that I have been vindicated by God do
you want to stone Me? The
Jews answered Him, saying, for a good work we stone Thee not; but for
blasphemy; and because thou a man, makest thyself God. "
So we see that people do not change and neither does God. And if the
people rejected the Alpha ministry of Jesus Christ over Godhead and
Vindication, then they will have to do it in the Omega ministry as well in
order to Crucify to themselves the Lord afresh and put Him to an open or public
shame and disgrace.
Brother Branham taught vindication as
"God having a One man Message and He deals with
One man only". This caused much of the clergy to alienate
brother Branham, which was due mostly to professional jealousy.
So we see that these children have one
thing in common. A false anointing from the devil that brings deception. And
how does it come? By vain words. Useless
words. Words which mean nothing.
Then if the two main doctrines that Jesus taught were his relationship to His
Father who is God, and the Presence of
that God indwelling in Him, which is vindication, then any other thoughts
contrary to these would have to be considered vain and useless.
But as we see here by these
scriptures, 1
Peter 2: 7 Unto you therefore which believe, He is precious: but unto them which be
disobedient, He has become something else as we see according
to the next verse 1 Peter 2: 8 a Stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense,
even to them which stumble at the Word, being disobedient: whereunto also they
were appointed.
Now these disobedient children are serpent
seed, so they are not and can not be the Seed of God. In fact as we read
further in the next verse we will find this out for sure. But notice that to
the elect this Headstone ministry of His Appearing is precious to us, it is
considered the most valuable thing we know, but to the other Seed, it is
considered a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense.
Now if we really get into this and look at
the definition of the word offense, we shall find that it means, something that
causes resentment and anger, the act of attacking and assaulting. And that is
why they say, " It's not so much their doctrine that we hate, it's their
Spirit." They have the wrong Spirit. And that is why they could not buy
into what Jesus had to say either. He came at them with a two edged sword and
they did not like it either. So it becomes a Rock of Offense and a stumbling
stone to them which stumble at the Word because they are children of
disobedience, as they were appointed to be from before the world was even
framed.
So what we are looking at here is twins
again. Both religious, yet one is the Seed of God and the other is the seed of
the Devil. And what we are finding is that The key to understanding this
here, is that only those who are in the Election will not stumble at the
Word. But those who are not God's Seed
will stumble at the 2 major doctrines that have come forth at every exodus God
has come as the Pillar of Fire. Now, I
want you to read this next verse vary carefully.
1 Peter 2: 9 But ye are a
chosen generation,.. the word generation here is “genos” which we get the word gene from and which
refers to “Lineage, seed or
offspring” and I want you to notice what the attributes
of this gene seed are.
He says,
they are: an Holy nation, a peculiar people. Now this is
not peculiar
in our sense of the word which means strange, but it comes from a Greek
word which actually means a
purchased people, or a people who have been bought with a price,
which then means a redeemed people. : that ye should show forth the praises of Him Who
hath called you out of darkness unto His marvelous light:
Now if we are to show forth the praises of
Him, then we are to say the same thing He said. For Hebrews 13:15 says, “By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God
continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.”
So these are a people who won’t add to what
He said or take from what hHe said, but will say it as He said it. Jesus said,
" If you
confess me before men, I will confess you before my father."
And Brother Branham taught us that the word confess means to
say the same thing, because it is made up of two Greek words, "Homo"
which means the same as, and "Logos"
which is the very thoughts of God manifested or expressed in Word form. So we
see that to confess Him is to say the same things He
said about Himself. Then you have got to understand what he said
in order to repeat it correctly.
Paul said in 1
Corinthians 13: 11 When I was a child I spake as a child,
because I understood as a child, and I thought as a child: but when I became a
man, I put away childish thinking." How many times have we as parents heard one of
the children try to repeat a song or something that they heard but because they
did not understand it, it came out much different from what the original lyrics
were.
I remember driving down the road onetime
and my family were all singing "Swing low sweet chariot", and as we
sang, I could hear Sara the youngest singing "Swing low, sweet cherry oven".
She was about three years old. Another
time we a brothers family over and we were all singing songs. And his three
years old wanted to sing a song for us called the B.I.B.L.E., And he sang, "The B-uh-E-uh-E that's
the book for me, I stand upon the wood of God, the B-uh-E-uh-E!" And another time during song service, sister Lisa
was also about that same age, and she started singing " Old McDonald
had a farm" and her mother quietly said, SSSHHHH, and sister Lisa
said, "But Mom, I'm only singing."
So you see, that without an understanding,
many of the things we think about just do not come out right. We must have a
mature mind, to think mature thoughts. And God has come down to give us His
Mind in this hour. And we must have a spiritually mature mind in order to
receive God's thoughts. And that is the trouble we have in this message today.
Men are still living by the glare of another day. And they have not come to the
place where they have let go of their own thoughts. Look, you do not have the
capacity to hold onto your own thoughts and also receive the thoughts of
God. And so, when we hear Brother
Branham make the statement, "which
the woman is took from the man, a part of the man. Every... Genes of the man
is in the woman, that's what makes the woman. And that's the way the Word
of God is in the Church, what makes the Church the Bride." We find
men who are not ordained to handle this word taking these words and making them
into some sort of contorted Female attributes of God and a sort of Female part
of God or some strange Female Holy Ghost doctrine. It just goes to show that
these men do not understand the Doctrine of Godhead, and therefore they can not
understand Vindication either.
2 Timothy
3: 13 - 14, 13 But
evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 14 But continue thou in the things which
thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned
them; Knowing
of whom you are taught, he tells us, and how many people actually know the
person who is teaching them.
That is why Brother
Branham taught us in the Church Age Book
Chapter 4 - The Smyrnaean Church Age P:140 “In every age we
have exactly the same pattern. That is why
the light comes through some God-given messenger in a certain area,
and then from that messenger there
spreads the light through the ministry of others who have been faithfully
taught. But of course all those who go out don't always learn how
necessary it is to speak ONLY what the messenger has spoken. (Remember, Paul
warned the people to say only what he said, I Corinthians 14:37, "If any man think
himself to be a prophet or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that
I write unto you are the COMMANDMENTS OF THE LORD. What? came the Word of God
out from you? or came it unto you only?"…
They add here, or take away there, and soon
the message is no longer pure, and the revival dies down. How careful we must
be to hear ONE voice, for the Spirit has but one voice which is the voice of
God. Paul warned them to say what he said, even as Peter did likewise. He
warned them that EVEN HE (PAUL) could not change one word of what he had given
by revelation. Oh, how important it is to hear the voice of God by way of His
messengers, and then say what has been given them to say to the churches.
I know there are some who claim to believe
the message but refuse the Church Age book, but then Paul said, “if they be ignorant then let them be ignorant.”
I can not help it if they want to pick and choose what they want to believe. “God said, I believe it, and that settles it for me.” But let me say this, those
same brethren do not believe the doctrine of Christ as God taught it to Jesus
His Son, and Jesus taught it to His Disciples, and as the apostles taught it in
this Bible, and as William Branham vindicated prophet of God taught it. And if
they do not understand it brother Branham said they have not even gotten to
first base, so they are in fact not even in the game, and if they haven’t
reached first base there is no way for them to get to come home.
