Spoken Word no. 236
“Go forth and Multiply”
Brian Kocourek, Pastor
March 27th, 2011
Now, this morning we
are going to look more and more into the very theme of this Sermon of Brother
Branham’s which I have pointed out to you as we have gone from paragraph to
paragraph over these last 235 sermons, because the Scripture brother Branham
brings more to our attention than any other Scripture throughout this six and
one-half hour sermon of his concerning the Spoken Word is the original Seed.
And that Scripture that he used more than any other in this sermon is Genesis 1:11, that every seed
must bring forth after its kind.
And since this
scripture deals with the law of reproduction which is the law of Life, then it
behooves us to listen closely to what this vindicated Prophet of God has to
tell us from this Scripture. And this morning we will see again how important
this Scripture is to us, but before we read the next few paragraphs from his
sermon, we will look to the Word of God and take Genesis 1 as our text.
Therefore if you will
open your Bibles with me this morning to Genesis chapter one, we will begin
reading at verse one.
Genesis 1:1 In
the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2 And
the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the
deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
3 And God said, Let
there be light: and there was light. 4 And God saw the
light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. 5 And
God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and
the morning were the first day. 6 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from
the waters. 7 And God made
the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the
waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. 8 And
God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning
were the second day. 9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place,
and let the dry land appear: and it was so. 10 And God
called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he
Seas: and God saw that it was good.
Notice that up to this
point everything God did was to prepare earth to receive Life, and then be able
to sustain that Life. God, who is the fountain of Life gave light first for in
order for life to exist and come into being there must be light. Paul said all
things that manifest, are manifested by the light. Ephesians 5:13 for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.
And then the next
thing God does is to separate the waters from above from the waters below.
Notice also it takes water to sustain life. Notice also that the first time God
spoke there was separation take place. The light separated from darkness. Then
the next time God spoke, the waters were separated. Then as we will see in
verse 11 the very next time God speaks there is also separation.
11 And
God said, Let the earth bring forth
grass, the herb yielding seed,
and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon
the earth: and it was so. 12 And
the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree
yielding fruit, whose seed was in
itself, after his kind: and God
saw that it was good. 13 And the evening and the morning were the third day.
Now, when life comes
forth and multiplies, it must first divide itself to do that. The cell divides
from 1 to 2, and from 2 to 4, and from 4 to 8 and on and on. So you can not
have life without first separation. And to have life and then sustain that
life, there had to be first light, then water. They have even proven in this
age through hydroponics, that all that is required to grow tomatoes and other fruit
is water and light.
And So God first
brought forth light by the spoken Word, and then he separated the waters by His
Spoken Word, and He had to do this first, for if Life is dependent upon these
two things to live, then it would have been foolish to bring forth life first
and then the other. So God always prepares the way first then he plants the
seed of Life.
14 And
God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day
from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and
for days, and years: 15 And
let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. 16 And God made two great
lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. 17 And God set them in
the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, 18 And
to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the
darkness: and God saw that it was good 19 And the
evening and the morning were the fourth day.
Now, notice that the
first Light God brought forth was the Son of God because in the New Jerusalem,
there will be no need of the son or moon for the Lamb will be the light thereof.
Revelation 21:23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither
of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb
is the light thereof.
And of Course Jesus said himself in, John 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of
the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the
light of life. And again in John 9:5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of
the world. And again in John 12:35-36 Jesus said, “Then Jesus said unto
them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light,
lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not
whither he goeth. While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the
children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself
from them.”
And the Apostle Paul told us
in 2 Corinthians 4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine
out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge
of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
And of Course we can not
leave out the Apostle John who said in 1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in
the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus
Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
Ok, so let’s move on, now that we have established
that the reason God did these things first is to bring forth Life as we saw it
in Genesis 1:11, every seed after
its kind.
Now, notice in verse 20 “And
God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly
the moving creature that hath life,” There you are, Life coming forth right out of those
very waters that he had separated. “and fowl that may fly above the earth in the
open firmament of heaven.
And again we see Life
up in the waters where the clouds develop. The bird life, that spend so much of their
time up in the heavens above.
21 And
God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth,
which the waters brought forth
abundantly, after their kind, and every
winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. Again we see life, the
purpose of God’s creation is to bring forth Life. For God is the author of
Life, the great fountain of Life.
Now, as we continue to
read, I want you to notice it is all about God bringing froth Life. 22 And
God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful,
and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas,
and let fowl multiply in the earth. 23 And
the evening and the morning were the fifth day. 24 And God said, Let the earth bring
forth the living creature after his
kind, (notice that law of reproduction, after its kind,
after its nature…) cattle, and what
about cattle? Ever see a cow produce a goat? After its kind… and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. 25 And
God made the beast of the earth after
his kind, and cattle after their
kind, and every thing that creepeth
upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
So by now we can see
that no matter what specie God brought forth, it was to reproduce itself after
its kind. Not cross breeding, not one specie developing into another specie.
So now that God has
established his law of Life which is the law of reproduction, he then brought
forth man in his own image after his own kind, after his own nature. 26 And
God said, Let us make man in our image,
after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea,
and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and
over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So
God created man in his own image, in
the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And
God blessed them, and God said unto them,
Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it:
and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and
over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. 29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed,
which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is
the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. 30 And to every beast of the
earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the
earth, wherein there is life, I have
given every green herb for meat: and it was so. 31 And God saw every thing that he had made,
and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth
day.
Just one more thought, not for doctrine but for
thought, if you will notice that God gave us fruit from the trees He said, for our meat
and to the animals he gave the green vegetables and green grasses.
Now, that we have opened our study this morning
looking at this law of Life, let us move forward into brother Branham’s sermon
The Spoken Word is the Original Seed. Because he is dealing with a thought that
simply amazed me as I read the next few paragraphs of his sermon.
The
Spoken Word is the original Seed pp. 164 “Paul was afraid that the
people would watch some kind of a big words that he could say (some of his
education). I
Corinthians 2:1-8, you want to put it down. I Corinthians 2:1-8,
Paul said, "I
never come to you speaking words (intellectual, you know), that your faith might be in some seminary
thing, but I come to you with the simplicity, in the power and demonstration of
the Holy Ghost, that your faith would rest in the Word of God."
Yes, sir.
165
Although the denominational churches will outnumber the Bride a thousand to
one... Do you believe that? You believe the Bible teaches it? Isaiah 54:1,
He promised it. You want me to read it? All right, let's get it. If you want to
see where it's at where He promised that they'd outnumber, let's get over to Isaiah 54:1 “Sing,
O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud,
thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the
desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the Lord. That
right? More are the children of the whore than the married wife:”
sure, outnumber us many times. Though
they be more in numbers they have no true father. Now, the denominational
kinds is represented in Jude
8-13. That's the secular church: "Clouds
without rain, foaming out their own shame." The Pentecostal church
is represented of that denominational group in II Timothy 3:1-8, "Having a form of godliness";
their seed produced their kind.
Now, although these are
wonderful thoughts here, we will have to get back to them next week since there
is so much here in these few paragraphs, but to keep our continuity of thought,
let’s read on…
166 “Notice,
the eunuch... Oh here, we're going to
get in something deep now”. (and
let me tell you, he was not just saying this just to say it. We are about to
hit on something very, very deep right here.) “Now, watch, this Seed-church, this
real church with the real true sperm. Notice, the eunuch had been
with all the D.D.'s. Now, remember, God never committed His preaching and His
Gospel to an Angel. How many knows that? How many knows that Galatians 1:8 said if an Angel come from
heaven and preach something else besides they had preached, let it be accursed? So the Angel's wrong if he's different from the Word.”
“God
came on down below Angels and committed
it to men, which were sons. You
believe that? Now, watch. Now, He never committed it to Angels. Notice, He did
not do it.
(Notice also that he never committed this to women
either? Why? because the man is he seed carrier.)
So listen carefully
to what brother Branham says next. 167 Now, Philip had been up to Pentecost,
Now, I hope you are
getting what he is saying here. Because this whole sermon, this six and a half
hour sermon has focused us to this point to know and understand that God wants
a family but God is spirit, so He placed His God-Life in Sons to bring forth
sons. Hallelujah, I’m getting excited. Just think, Men provide the seed, the
woman the atmosphere. But the life comes down from the man, and it can’t come
down from Spirit, it must come through a body. Jesus did not materialize in the
manger. He was not teleported down to earth as spirit. He could never have
manifested or declared and openly revealed the God-Life as a spirit. So God
produced an egg and sperm and placed it into the womb of the woman, because the
expressed image of God had to come through a body.
And brother Branham just told us that God used the
body of Philip to provide God-Life God-Sperm to the Ethiopian Eunuch. It took a
man, not an angel, but a man to bring another son to Life.
Let’s read on 168 Now, listen, the same thing took place in Acts 10:48. Peter was on the housetop. An Angel directed him to Cornelius' house, but where did the Word come
from? The body. Oh, I feel pretty
good, feel like traveling on. An Angel come and said, "Don't worry; don't call nothing unclean; just go on; don't
think nothing." And while Peter spake
these words, not the Angel, not the cardinal, while Peter spake these words... What? He was the body. He had the
Word. The Word took hold. Oh, brother. Whew. Umph. Oh, my. Angel directed it, but the Life come through the body of Christ.
Notice the new birth, the Holy Spirit Baptism came to individual
sons, quickening them to life, not from an angel, but from sons to sons and
daughters. Angels don’t have children, but sons do? Now, can you see why I go
to these places like I do? O brother, I didn’t see this, I just saw the fruits
of the work, and my love for the brethren, but all these children of God, these
sons of God birthed by the Word of God that comes through sons of God.
That is what Jesus said
in his prayer to the Father in
Notice what Jesus is
saying here. He says, Father I have given them thy Word that they may be one
with you even as I am one with you. And not only these that I have given them
Thy word to, but the others that will receive your word through these others
that I am sending, that we all might be one because we have all received Thy
Seed, Thy God-Life, Thy Doxa, which is Thy Opinion, Thy Values, and Thy
Judgments. Because after all Father, as a man thinketh in his heart so is he,
and so in expressing your Word, and Your Glory, Your opinions, and values, and
judgments, these others have received Thy God-Life and are sons through their
testimony, the testimony of those whom I have sent.
21 That they all may be one;
as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us:
that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. 22 And
the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as
we are one: 23 I in them, and thou in me, that
they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast
sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. 24 Father,
I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that
they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before
the foundation of the world. 25 O righteous
Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have
known that thou hast sent me. 26 And I have
declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou
hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.
Now, do you see why it is so important to receive whomsoever God sends?
Jesus said Himself, John 13:20 Verily,
verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and
he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me. Why? Because by receiving Him you receive the God-Life
that he is a carrier of. Don’t believe me? Turn to
St. John 1:12 But as many as received
him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe
on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of
the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And the Word was
made flesh,
“As many as received him”, that’s what it says. And Jesus said if you receive one
that I send you receive me. Why? because he’s a seed carrier, God’s sperm of
His Word of Life Carrier. And what does it produce? Son of God-Life in the one
who receives him.
Don’t forget what brother Branham said to us in paragraph 91 of The Spoken word Original Seed 62-0318M P:91 “Then
the works will be manifested in Him are the same, for it is the same Seed Word
of God. God's Son was His example Seed.
And what His Life was when the Spirit poured upon Him after His baptism and the Holy Ghost come upon Him, the very Life that He produced will, that
same watering Spirit of the Holy Ghost will
bring forth the same kind of a Life, doing the same thing that He did; if it's the same Seed. Son of
God Seed will bring forth a Son of God Seed.
Oh, how I love this sermon of brother Branham’s. and
notice he says the seed must come through the body, not from an angel. All the
angel did was give direction, but the spirit of God, the Sperm seed of God, the
Word of God came from son bringing birth to sons. People want to make such a
big deal about angels, but let’s face it, the angels could not bring the Word.
And if they brought any word that was not God’s Word they were cursed for it.
Notice brother
Branham’s next example of this in paragraph 169 “Paul,
on his way to
And I think we can all say the same thing, “Whew. My.”
2 Peter 1:2
Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God,
and of Jesus our Lord, 3 According as his divine power (and what is the power of God? Romans 1;16 The Gospel
is the power of God, the Life Seed of God, for Jesus said, “My Words are spirit and they are Life”. And
Peter said,)
According as his divine power (His
word) hath given
unto us all things that pertain unto
life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to
glory (God’s doxa, God’s Opinion, God’s
values, God’s judgments) and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding
great and precious promises: that by
these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the
corruption that is in the world through lust.
Notice through these divine promises, that’s God’s Word,
through His Word ye might be partakers of the divine nature,.. Son of God Seed
will bring forth a Son of God Seed.
That’s what God promised in Hebrews 6:14 Saying,
Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee. It’s all about bringing forth sons of God the way God
intended it in the beginning when he told Adam in Genesis
1:28 And
God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and
replenish the earth…
So when you hear the Word of God, think of it not so much as spiritual
food in due season, for it is that, but it is also the Life of God being cast
upon human troubled waters, and in the right soil this Son
of God Seed will bring forth a Son of God Seed.
That is exactly what the Apostle Paul told us in 2 Corinthians 9:10 Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and
multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)
in other words, Son
of God Seed will bring forth a Son of God Seed.
That is why when Jesus
tells us the parable of the sower, in Mark he tells us that the seed was the
Word of God but in Matthew he tells us the seed are the children of God.
Luke 8:11
Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
Matthew
13:38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the
kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
Matthew
13:23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that
heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth
forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
Acts 12:24
But the Word of God grew and multiplied.
Now, what brother Branham is telling us here is not something new. He did
not come to give us new things, he came to restore those things which the
people had forgotten.
In Jeremiah 30:19 we read, And
out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry:
and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they
shall not be small.
And what God promised his people in the first exodus has to repeat at the
third Exodus, for Alpha must become Omega. So we see the promise of God through
Moses in the first Exodus is the same as what brother Branham is telling the
people here in the third Exodus and is exactly what the Apostle Paul told them
at the second Exodus.
In Deuteronomy
30:16 “In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou
mayest live and multiply: and the
LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it”.
Son of God Seed will bring forth a Son of God Seed.
And again in Deuteronomy 8:1 All
the commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and
possess the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers. Son of God Seed will bring forth a Son of God Seed.
And again in Deuteronomy 7:13 And
he will love thee, and bless thee, and
multiply thee: he will also bless
the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine,
and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the
land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee.
And in Genesis 22:17 we see God’s
desire to bless us and the bring forth many more sons. That
in blessing I will bless thee, and in
multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the
sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his
enemies;
Let’s bow our heads and our
hearts in thanksgiving and in prayer.
