DEUTERONOMY
29:29 The secret [things belong] unto the LORD our God: but those
[things which are] revealed [belong] unto us and to our children for ever, that
[we] may do all the words of this law.
PSALMS 25:14 The secret of the LORD [is] with them that
fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.
LUKE 18:8 I tell you that he will avenge them
speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the
earth?
Let's Pray…….. Dear Father we come to
Thee this morning knowing that unless you reveal your hidden Secrets to us,
then it remains secret from the world. But we are so thankful Lord that you
have come down in this hour to reveal yourself to us, and we know that it must
come through a prophet as you have spoken to us in Amos 3:7, that surely, the Lord God
will do nothing unless He reveals it through the mouth of His prophets. And so
we see that all the events that are unfolding in this day, that there is
nothing happening but what your prophet told us nearly 40 years ago that these
things would come to pass. And as we see the world falling apart, it is no
surprise for us, because we have known that thee things would come to pass as
surely as they were spoken to us.
Therefore, Father we thank Thee for the rest that this
brings us, knowing that You Who ordained the falling apart of the world also
ordained a New Heavens and a New Earth wherein dwells righteousness, and no
iniquity will be found in that place. Be with us now as we study Thy Word this
morning in Jesus Christ’s name we ask it, Amen.
Now, this morning I would like to continue
with studying the Message The Spoken Word is the Original Seed and we will
pick up at paragraph 40. If God contradicts
Himself, He's not no more than I am or no more than you are, for He can contradict Himself. The Word's
there, but It's hid from the eyes of the
wise and prudent. That's why someone says that Matthew 28:19, where:
"Go ye, teach all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, Son,
Holy Ghost"; Acts 2:38 said, "Repent and be baptized in the Name of
Jesus."...?... they're contradictory... It isn't a contradictory.
Notice that Brother Branham told us that God actually
hides His word from the wise and prudent. Now, that is not His Words, but Jesus
spoke those very same words in the book of Luke and Matthew.
Luke
Chapter 10: 21 In
that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of
heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent,
and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in
thy sight.
Matthew 11:
25 At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father,
Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and
prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.
We also see that the
Apostle Paul told us that God would have a Word that was Hidden from the very
foundations of the world but would be revealed in the last hour.
Jesus also said in, Luke 18: 8 when
the Son of Man returns, will he find Faith on the earth? And what is Faith? It is something that has been
revealed unto you. So Faith is A revelation? Then when the Son of Man comes,
will He find revelation? And the answer is not without a Prophet. For the Lord will do
nothing unless He reveal it through to His prophets. That’s Amos 3:7
Amos 3:3 Can
two walk together, except they be agreed? 4 Will a
lion roar in the forest, when he hath no prey? will a young lion cry out of his
den, if he have taken nothing?
5 Can a bird fall in a snare upon the earth, where no gin
is for him? shall one
take up a snare from the earth, and have taken nothing at all? 6 Shall
a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be
evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it? 7 Surely the
Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. 8 The lion hath roared, who will not fear?
the Lord GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy?
Now, we have read for our text that God has certain
things which He has kept secret, "those things which belong to Him He has kept secret.”
But we also read that “those things which He has given to us, are no longer secret,
but they are ours,” for He has given them to us and they are
revealed.
Now, what does the word revealed mean?
The particular word that is used here is a Hebrew word which means to remove
from hiding. Therefore, when God removes it from it's hiding place, it is no
longer hidden, but is revealed. It is no longer hidden but has been removed from
hiding, and is openly declared.
And what is Faith? It is Revelation.
ANOINTED ONES AT END TIME 65-0725M
38 What is faith? Faith is something that's
revealed to you, that is not yet, but you believe it will be. Faith is a
revelation of the will of God. So by revelation... And the churches today don't
even believe in spiritual revelation. They believe in a dogmatic teaching of
some system. "By revelation Abel offered unto God a more excellent
sacrifice than that of Cain, which God testified he was righteous." Amen.
I hope you see that.
And since it is
revealed, then at one time it had to be hidden. That is the essence of
revelation. Now in order to understand this, we must ask ourselves this
question. Since, Faith is something that is revealed, and to be revealed it had
to be hidden, then how is this possible? Can anyone tell me what has to happen
in order for something that God has hidden to be revealed?
There can be only one of two things that could happen,
1. Either God takes this thing out from
its hiding place and reveals it openly to all, or
2. He takes us into this hiding place where
He has it hidden.
Now, I believe
that the second answer is the correct answer.
I CORINTHIANS 2:6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are
perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world,
that come to nought: 7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, [even] the
hidden [wisdom], which God ordained before the world unto our glory: 8 Which none of the princes of this world
knew: for had they known [it], they would not have crucified the Lord of
glory. 9 But as it is written, Eye hath
not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things
which God hath prepared for them that love him.
10 But God hath revealed [them] unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit
searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knoweth the things of a man,
save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no
man, but the Spirit of God. 12 Now we
have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God;
that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 13 Which things also we speak, not in the
words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing
spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But
the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are
foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them], because they are spiritually
discerned. 15 But he that is spiritual
judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. 16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord,
that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
ISAIAH 55:8
For my thoughts [are] not your thoughts, neither [are] your ways my ways, saith
the LORD. 9 For [as] the heavens are
higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts
than your thoughts.
Then how are you going to understand
the thoughts of God which are so higher than the thoughts of man, unless God
reveals them to you.
You see, even David in the Psalms tells us, PSALMS 103:7 He made known his
ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of
So the people could see what God was
doing; the acts, and the supernatural way in which he did things, but they had
no clue as to the purpose and plan that God was doing those things for. But
Moses knew, because God made known His ways unto Moses, but only the acts
themselves were made known to the people, because you would have to be blind
not to see them.
So God reveals His mind to His Prophets, and then to
the people as we read from AMOS 3:7
Surely the Lord
GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the
prophets.
Now, The
Scriptures tells us in 1 Thessalonians 4 that the Lord Himself shall descend from the heavens
with a shout. And if it were not for a Vindicated prophet we would
have no clue as to the meaning of that Scripture.
1 Thessalonians 4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant,
brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others
which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again,
even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15 For
this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not
prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a
shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead
in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are
alive and remain shall be caught up together with
them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with
the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with
these words.
Now, the rest of the world can only guess what that
is. Some believe it is the rapture, which is partly true, but without a
vindicated prophet we would have no clue as to what this Shout, Voice and
trumpet are? But we have been privileged to know, because we have accepted the
Prophet that God promised to send us in Malachi the 4th chapter.
Malachi
4:1 For,
behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and
all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them
up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. 2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun
of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and
grow up as calves of the stall. 3 And ye shall tread
down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the
day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts. 4 Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which
I commanded unto him in Horeb for all
And so concerning the end-time and Rapture of the
Elect, we know a lot about it because we have accepted what William Branham
prophet of God told us concerning those things. And in his Rapture sermon,
William Branham told us what the Shout Voice and trump of God were.
And in His sermon on the Rapture he used PSALMS 27:5 For in the time of
trouble he shall hide me in his
pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up
upon a rock.
And where is this Hiding place?
PSALMS 31:20 Thou shalt hide them in the secret of Thy Presence from the
pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly
in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.
PSALMS 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of
the Almighty.
Now, the things
that are no longer hidden and have been given to us is His Word. But while they
were hidden they were in essence a mystery.
Paul said, EPHESIANS
3:3 How
that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few
words,
Now, God does not unveil and reveal these
great deep hidden secrets to just anyone. You have to be in an Elect group, in
order for Him to do this for you.
MATTHEW 13:10 And the disciples came, and
said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? 11 He answered and said unto them, Because it
is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them
it is not given. 12 For whosoever hath,
to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath
not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. 13 Therefore speak I to them in parables:
because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they
understand. 14 And in them is fulfilled
the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not
understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: 15 For this people's heart is waxed gross,
and [their] ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at
any time they should see with [their] eyes, and hear with [their] ears, and
should understand with [their] heart, and should be converted, and I should
heal them. 16 But blessed [are] your
eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. 17 For verily I say unto you, That many
prophets and righteous [men] have desired to see [those things] which ye see,
and have not seen [them]; and to hear [those things] which ye hear, and have
not heard [them].
MARK 4:11
And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom
of God: but unto them that are without, all [these] things are done in
parables:
12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and
not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and [their] sins
should be forgiven them. 13 And he said
unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all
parables? 14 The sower soweth the word.
MATTHEW 13:34 All these things spake Jesus unto the
multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them: 35 That it might be fulfilled which was
spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter
things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world. 36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and
went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us
the parable of the tares of the field.
MARK 4:22
For there is nothing hid, which shall
not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should
come abroad. 23 If any man have ears to
hear, let him hear 24 And he said unto
them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured
to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given. 25 For he that hath, to him shall be given:
and he that hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath.
LUKE 8:17 For nothing
is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither [any thing] hid, that
shall not be known and come abroad. 18
Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and
whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.
But once they
have been given to us, what are we to do with them? After all, these are those
things which God has kept secret from age to age, but has now made them known
to us by allowing us to enter into His presence, where they had been kept
hidden since before the world began.
COLOSSIANS 1:26 [Even] the mystery which hath been hid from
ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: 27 To whom God would make known what [is] the
riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you,
the hope of glory:
COLOSSIANS 2:2 That their hearts might be comforted, being
knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of
understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father,
and of Christ; 3 In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
Once we have
received the Hidden things of God we then become stewards of those things.
Because this is a great sacred trust which God has placed in our keeping.
I CORINTHIANS 4:1 Let a man so account of us, as of the
ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.
Moreover it is required in stewards,
that a man be found faithful.
EPHESIANS 3:9 And to make all [men] see what [is] the fellowship of the mystery, which
from the beginning of the world hath
been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: 10 To the intent that now unto the
principalities and powers in heavenly [places] might be known by the church the
manifold wisdom of God, 11 According to
the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: 12 In whom we have boldness and access with
confidence by the faith of him.
EPHESIANS 1:8 Wherein
he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
9 Having made known unto us the mystery
of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in
himself:
PROVERBS 3:32-33 For the froward [is] abomination to the
LORD: but his secret [is] with the
righteous.
DANIEL 2:20 Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the
name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: 21 And he changeth
the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth
wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding: 22 He revealeth the deep and secret things:
he knoweth what [is] in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him. 23 I
thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my fathers, who hast given me wisdom
and might, and hast made known unto me now what we desired of thee: for thou
hast [now] made known unto us the king's matter.
ROMANS
16:25 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my
gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according
to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,
26 But now is made manifest, and by
the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting
God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith: 27 To God only wise,
[be] glory through Jesus Christ for ever. Amen.
ISAIAH 48:5 I have even from the beginning declared
[it] to thee; before it came to pass I shewed [it] thee: lest thou shouldest
say, Mine idol hath done them, and my graven image, and my molten image, hath
commanded them. 6 Thou hast heard, see all this; and will not ye declare [it]?
I have shewed thee new things from this time, even hidden things, and thou didst not know them. 7 They are
created now, and not from the beginning; even before the day when thou heardest
them not; lest thou shouldest say, Behold, I knew them.
REVELATION 2:17 He
that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him
that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a
white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving
he that receiveth [it].
LUKE 4:17 And there was delivered unto him the book of
the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where
it was written, 18 The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon me, because he hath
anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the
brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight
to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, 19 To preach the
acceptable year of the Lord. 20 And he closed the book, and he gave [it] again
to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue
were fastened on him. 21 And he began to say unto them, This day is this
scripture fulfilled in your ears.
REVELATION
20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from
whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for
them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were
opened: and another book was opened, which is [the book] of life: and the dead
were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to
their works.
From his series on the SEVENTY WEEKS OF
DANIEL 61-080 67 036 brother Branham said, It's laying back in that condition. And that
only shows that this is just a period of time. Can't you see? God don't have
things out of cater. He's just letting it run like that for a little time. And
I truly believe that that thing was done, and at this last days is when God is going to reveal these secrets to the
church. He hasn't done it before, and the reason He hasn't done it is to
keep the church a-watching and praying all the time, not knowing when it was
coming. But you remember in Daniel 12 He said, "The wise shall understand
in the last--in this last days"? It's been given to him. The Spirit of
wisdom comes into the church to make known to the church by the revelation of
the Holy Ghost--bringing the church in and revealing what day that we're living
in. Just the same as Gabriel come to--to Daniel, the Holy Spirit comes to the
church in the last days to reveal these great, deep, secret things. Do you
understand now?
