The Life of Christ Part 3
“Peace”
Brian
Kocourek
Colossians 3:3
For ye are dead, and your
life is hid with Christ in God. 3:4 When
Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in
glory.
Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in
Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Now, I would like to ask the question, “when there is no
condemnation”, how do you feel? Are you at Peace? That’s right, and
once you have come under the blood and have made your peace with God, then the
next question is “how Do I stay in that
Peace?”
You see, as I look at where the world is headed and
the trials and tribulations, the stresses and pressure that each of believer
seems to be coming under, I have to ask myself, if we have Grace and Peace through our Lord Jesus
Christ, why do we feel the stresses and strains and the pulls from
every direction?
And the answer is very simple and we will look at
this question and Lord willing will find the answer is very simple in our study
this morning. First let me say that the Apostle Paul tell us in several places
in Scripture that Grace, Mercy and Peace come from God, so outside of these three
things you can not have peace. Not real lasting peace anyway. Because our Peace
is associated with the Grace and Mercy we receive from Our God and the Lord Jesus
Christ. After all, without a proper understanding of Grace and Mercy
and without the proper understanding of how these were made available to the
believer, what kind of a peace do you really, honestly think you might have?
Therefore in the following Scriptures we will hear
the Apostle Paul tell Titus and Timothy that Grace, Mercy and Peace come from God
and our the Lord
Jesus Christ.
In Titus 1:4 Paul says, To
Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God
the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour.
And to Timothy Paul says in 1 Timothy 1:2 Unto Timothy, my own son in
the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our
Lord.
And again Paul addresses Timothy in 2 Timothy 1:2 To Timothy, my dearly beloved
son: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
But the Apostle Paul was not the only Apostle who
taught this. We find the Apostle John saying the same thing in 2 John 1:3 Grace be with you, mercy, and
peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the
Father, in truth and love.
And
we also find the Apostle Peter tell us the same thing, and if anyone should
know about the Grace of God he should having had to deal with the fact that he
denied Jesus Christ 3 times in one night?
But
when Peter tells us about Grace that brings Peace he is a little more specific
that Paul and John, for he tells us that our Grace and peace are a result of
our knowledge of God and of His Son Jesus Christ.
2 Peter 1:2 Grace
and peace be multiplied unto you
(and how is Grace and Peace multiplied unto you? He tells us it comes) through the
knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,.
Now, before we can go any further and tell you how
we receive our peace, we must first understand what peace really is.
The American Heritage dictionary describes peace as:
1: The
absence of war or other hostilities. 2. An agreement or a treaty to end
hostilities. 3. Freedom from
quarrels and disagreement; harmonious relations:
So peace is a freedom from what? It is a Freedom from quarrels and disagreements; It is
a freedom from war or hostilities.
Now,
this is very important for us to know since we are also promised in the
scriptures that the end-time will be marked by its perilous times which are hard
to deal with and hard to bear because it will be full of quarrels, disagreements,
wars and hostilities.
In Mark 13:3
Jesus said, And
as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and
John and Andrew asked him privately, 4 Tell us,
when shall these things be? and what shall be the
sign when all these things shall be fulfilled? 5 And
Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you: 6 For
many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 7 And when ye shall
hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the
end shall not be yet. 8 For nation shall
rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be
earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows. 9 But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to
councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought
before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them. 10 And
the gospel must first be published among all nations. 11 But when they
shall lead you, and
deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye
premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for
it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost. 12 Now the brother shall
betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up
against their
parents, and shall cause them to be put to death. 13 And ye shall be
hated of all men for
my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 14 But
when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the
prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then
let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains: 15 And let him that
is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of
his house: 16 And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take
up his garment. 17 But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck
in those days! 18 And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter. 19 For
in those days shall
be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God
created unto this time, neither shall be. 20 And except that
the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the
elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.
And we hear Jesus again in Matthew 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount
of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall
these things be? and what shall be the sign of
thy coming, and of the end of the world? 4 And
Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man
deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall
deceive many. 6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be
not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation shall
rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines,
and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. 9 Then
shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be
hated of all nations for my name's sake. 10 And then shall
many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11 And
many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because
iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13 But he that shall
endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 14 And
this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness
unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
So we see here that the end-time according to Jesus
will be full of un-harmonious warfare, and constant assault on your peace. Even
the Apostle Paul warned us what the end-time will be like as we see in…
2 Timothy 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. (that means it will be a time of high risk) For men shall be
lovers of their own selves, (no longer is it God first country
second, but today it is me first everything else a distant second.) covetous, (look at wall street, but not only Wall Street
our own congress have more felons, and con-men than you can shale a stick at.) boasters, (if
an athlete did 30 years ago what they do today when they make a touch down or
hit a home run, they would be fined or sat down and given time off for bad
behavior. But look at the attributes of the person at the end-time, Paul calls
them) proud,
blasphemers, (that means people who are willing to speak hurtful
things)
disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers,
false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, (look at the traitors in our government,
in our Senate and Congress, and President, if they did what they are doing
today, 30 years ago they would have all gone to jail for treason, for selling
our nation down the tubes for graft.) heady, (yeah, they think they are so smart they
can get away with murder) highminded, (they think they know more than the
rest, and yet we have supreme court justices that are dummer than a box of
rocks.) lovers of
pleasures more than lovers of God; (look at the churches and you can see the people come
to be entertained, and if the preacher preaches more than a half hour they
throw him out, because they come for the music, they do.) 5 Having a form of
godliness, (as brother Branham said, these are not communists, these
are so called Christians.) but denying the power thereof: (They deny the
power do they? Well, we will have to skip that one, I promised myself I would
be a good boy) from
such turn away.
Now, what we just read was a masterpiece of thought
and help for our own selves seeing we are dealing with things in this hour
which may seem to you to be insanity and you are well within your rights as a
believer in this Message to believe that most of what you have to deal with in
this hour is indeed due to an insanity among the non believers or
make-believers. But I want you to
remember, the Apostle Paul went through more than we have because he was an
example seed, as was Christ Jesus.
As bad as it gets in this hour, we will not have to
suffer crucifixion in the flesh. That is the most painful death a man could
suffer. But what Paul lays out for us is a time of mental anguish and
suffering. Most notable is the fact that what he lists for us is not harm to
the body, but harm to your mind. Like an onslaught of never ending mental
abuse, that is how I see the end-time described. Pressure here and pressure
there, and if it’s not your neighbor, it comes at work, and if not at work then
within your family and acquaintances.
But the Apostle Paul after listing some of the places where he was
abused physically and thrown in prison, he also tells us that the Lord
delivered Him out of them all.
Now, does that mean that God actually took him out
of every situation? Well, seems to me that he was stoned several times, and
whipped several times with 39 stripes, and he had to flee one city in a basket
and we know the stories. So what does he mean that the Lord delivered Him out
of them all. If you have examined the Apostle Paul’s journeys you will find up
until his last book written which is 2 Timothy, Paul had been imprisoned many
times, yet they didn’t seem to hold him forever, so he would be released travel
somewhere else, get imprisoned held for a long period, then released, but he
kept preaching which kept him a target, but it didn’t matter to him, because
each time they kept him locked up he wrote another Epistle.
Now, in the book of Romans and back to chapter 8 we
see the Apostle Paul begins to lay out how this peace is developed through our
relationship with Christ. In verse 2 he says, “For
the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
Now, what is this law of the spirit of Life in Christ?
It is the law of Life where every seed must bring forth after its kind. And what he is telling us here is that by the
very nature of this law of Life, (Genesis 1:11)
and thus if you are born again, the law of life, having received the very life
of Christ via the Word seed, then this life will take over your mortal being,
and you can expect to live the very life that Christ lived.
Influence 63-0112 P:65 And if the Life of Christ has been
transferred into you by the Holy Spirit,
you bear the fruit, you live the life.
Now if he didn’t make that
isn’t simple I do not know what is. It’s just that simple, if you have received
the Life of Christ in you, then you will live the life of Christ. What other
life are you going to live?
And again from his sermon, It wasn't so from the beginning 61-0411 P:29 he
said, “You say, "Well, we'll just live loose." That
shows your name isn't on the Book. That's exactly right. That proves that you
wasn't when you try to live any kind of
life and that you want to live. That's
shows you haven't got it. If
you're a real Christian, you'll live the real life, because the Life in
Christ is in you and you can do nothing else but live the Life of Christ.
Now, if that isn’t plain I
do not know what is. That’s not legalism speaking, that’s common sense. But it
seems there isn’t too much of that left these days either. If you live the Life
of Christ others will know it, ands if they don’t see that life lived in your,
then they don’t have to believe your testimony either. Why should they? What
evidence do you have that you are what you claim when your own life disproves
what you claim to begin with. That’s why I get so irritated with the preachers
who want to run your life but they can’t run their own life the way Christ said
we should live it.
In Investments 63-1116B P:35 Brother Branham said, “That's no way to get the outsider. (Now, what he is
talking about here is the outsider is the person who is not a believer, he’s an
outsider, and he says if you want to catch that person in the net for Christ
the way to do it is to…) Live the Life, and let
Christ live in you, that makes him hunger and thirst to be like you.
You become salty; he'll get thirsty. The
only way you can be salty is let the Life of Christ be in you, for He is
that. Salt only saves as it contacts. And
you see, so many preachers think when you talk this way that you are a
legalist. But those are the words of a vindicated prophet speaking. So it shows
how little they really know of what the Message is all about. They say we got
the doctrine so we are “in”.
Well, I’m sorry to break the
news to you, but if you really have the doctrine you will have Christ for he is
the doctrine, and you can not have Christ unless Christ is living your life for
you, then you have Christ. Because the word “have” means to possess, and if you
are not possessed by Christ, the Life of Christ, then you are none of His.
That’s what the Apostle Paul
said in Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the
Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
So if you do not have you do
not possess it, and if you are not possessed by the Spirit of Christ you don’t
have the spirit of Christ. Look, this all makes very plain sense to me. We see
a person acting like a devil and we say that person is possessed by an evil
spirit, or he is possessed by a devil, right?
Don’t they say, “the devil made me do it” “The devil made me do it.”
Well then what if a person
acts like Christ? What if he lives the Life of Christ? Isn’t that person
possessed by Christ’s Spirit as well? I hope so, if language has any meaning at
all.
Brother
Branham said in his sermon, Adoption or placing
60-0522E P:23 he said, “The church has got to be so perfectly like Christ, until Christ and the
church can unite together, the same Spirit. And if the Spirit of Christ is
in you, It makes you live the life of Christ, act the life of Christ, do the works of Christ. "He that believeth on Me, the works that I do
shall he do also."
Jesus said that. See? And just because some don’t believe that, doesn’t
do away with the fact Jesus said that.
So in getting back to what the apostle Paul said in Romans 8:3 “For
what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending
his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4 That
the righteousness of the law might be
fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Now, what are we reading here and how does it fit with
this thought on Grace and Peace coming to us through our Lord Jesus Christ, and
His spirit living in us?
Well, notice what Paul says next in verse 5 For
they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things
of the Spirit. 6 For
to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Aha!!! There is where our Peace comes from. Not from
what you can work yourself into, but what Christ is doing in you while living
your life for you. Oh, brothers and sisters, when people want to fuss with you,
let them fuss, but just don’t enter into it with them. They want to fight, let
them fight all they want, just not with you.
Years ago I was working on my basement with br. Brad
Shearer. And Br. Brad had just helped my in the basement and we were trying to
get a automatic trowel machine out of the basement. If you don’t know what that
is, it looks like a machine with a big set of airplane propellers that are flat
to the surface so you can turn it on and it goes around and around and smoothes
the cement.
Well, with those big blades sticking out, we were
having a hard time getting it out of the basement without stairs. We had the
hole in the floor and no basement stairs yet because you can’t put the stairs
in until you have concrete floors. So, here I was pulling from the top, and Br.
Brad trying to lift from below, and we could not get it over the corner of he
hole, because it kept getting stuck on the edge, and he couldn’t free up his
hands to push the trowels over because he had to hold it up, and I could let go
of the rope we were using to pull it up, so I called out to another brother who
had just lain down on a pile of drywall to take a nap.
I asked him to come and help, but when he just laid there
without responding I yelled again his name and asked him to come and help, I
didn’t want to drop the heavy machine on Br. Brad’s head you know. Well, I turned back to keep my eyes on the
machine because it was slipping, and I didn’t see what took place.
But when I left a half hour later with br. Vayle’s son
Don to take him home, as he was one of the dry wall guys I hired, he started to
laugh really hard, so I asked him what was so funny, and he told me that when I
called out to the brother to help, he got really irritated with me, and wanted
to fight with me, and because I was focused on the machine, and didn’t see his
wanting to fight, he ended up fighting with himself. And he said it was
hilarious to watch.
And I learned a great lesson as a young pastor at that
time, and that is this, if you don’t fight back, then if they want to fight,
they will have to fight with their self. Look, if you feel you are being
squeezed two other people who want to fight, don’t let yourself be manipulated.
Create an atmosphere around yourself, and just remember, you are also the one
who is responsible for keeping that atmosphere if you want it kept. No one else
is going to do it for you. And if anyone wishes to interrupt that atmosphere
you don’t have to let them in to do it, unless you want them too. Don’t meet
them on their conditions, meet them on yours. Control your space, control your
atmosphere. It’s yours to create and yours to maintain. Brother Branham said we are little creators
and we create an atmosphere around us because we are little Messiahettes.
From His sermon, Questions and answers COD 64-0830M P:63 he said,
“We are Messiahettes, but not
that Jesus. He is our Father; we're just
anointed with His Spirit, and that's the reason His Life... And that gets
people. See, if you don't set and think it through, it gets people to believe,”…
And again from his sermon Love 57-0519E P:15 He said, “Did you ever see a person that's a good
person, you think they are nice, but there's
just something about the person you just don't like to be around them? Certainly
you do. And then, you've seen people
that you just love to be around. What is it? It's that creative power that's upon the people that create an
atmosphere around where they're at. If they're full of love, not
make-belief, but real love, you can feel
it. You know that they're Christians. They shake your hand, say, "I'm
your friend, John." You can feel it.”
And again from his sermon Divine love 57-0305 P:18 he said, “Now, you've got to create an atmosphere, and
your faith will do it. They were all in the upper room with one accord, when
suddenly there came from heaven as a
sound of a rushing mighty wind; the atmosphere was right. It takes a atmosphere to do anything. You
know, the regular procedure to hatch chickens is to put them under the hen. But
get the egg in the right atmosphere, it'll hatch anyhow. Listen, brother, if a man loves God, and the right kind of
an atmosphere he could get into, it'll produce a new born babe just as certain
as I am here. It's the atmosphere that counts. Let this little handful of
people setting here tonight, get in the perfect atmosphere, watch what takes
place. There will not be a feeble among one in our midst. The cripples will
walk; the blind will see; the deaf will hear; the dumb will speak without
prayer or anything. It's the atmosphere. That's how twenty-five thousand was
healed at one prayer in
And from his sermon, The Messiah 61-0117 P:23 he said, “Now, that is true. God called Messiahs... God called us, and we become kings and
priests unto God. Like Jesus was God's High Priest, we become a lesser priest.
Jesus was... God in Fullness dwelt in
Him to shine forth the expression of God to the world, for God was in
Christ reconciling the world to Himself. And as God was in Christ reconciling
the world to Himself, God comes into His
church and anoints Him some Messiahettes. Oh, my. Do you see it? The same
things He did is in His church. The same
power He had is in His church. And His church becomes His dominion, and
He's King over this dominion, and we are
kings and priests, offering spiritual sacrifices to God, the fruits of our lips
giving praise to His Name. Amen. Oh, my. There you are: Messiahettes,
Messiahettes, little messiahs, little anointed ones. Anointed off of what? The
main One, anointed off of the great One.”
And also from The Messiah 61-0117 P:26 he said, Now, that was for Messiah. For
Messiahettes, the church, here it comes. Are you ready?
Saint John 14:12,
Jesus said, "He
that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also": Messiahettes.
That's right. Messiahettes, the
representation of Messiah on earth yet...Mark
16, He said, "Go ye into all the world and preach the
Gospel. These signs shall follow (the Messiahettes): He that believeth and is baptized shall be
saved. He that believeth not shall be damned, and these signs shall follow them
that believe."
How far? To all the world. Who to? Every
creature. Oh, I'm so glad. How are
you going to rub that out? Said, "It's just only to the disciples." To the disciples? He said, "To all the world, and to every creature.
These signs shall follow them that believe."
From his sermon, Divine love 56-0826 P:33 he said, “What did it do? It created an atmosphere.
When that bull run right into that atmosphere, not over ten feet from him, he stopped and throwed his feet out. He
looked like right here so defeated with the most meekest look on his face, and
turned around, and walked the other way...?... And I passed within five feet. What
is it? When Divine love is projected,
sovereign grace takes over at that time. That was the same God that could stop the lions from coming to Daniel, when they
come with the, and old Daniel standing
there wrapped in the robe of love. The lion's run over and laid down. It was peaceful. I tell you, my
brother, when God can wrap you in Divine
love, there's peace in the valley for you then. There is...”
And in closing from his
sermon, Mary's belief 59-0409 P:9 he
said, “And you know, it's usually when we're thinking about God and keeping
our minds on God, that God comes close to us. I think that's one of the
great troubles of the people of this day. We
have too many other things on our mind.”
So if you wish to create the right atmosphere for
peace, and to maintain that peace, just remember what the Apostle Paul said in Romans 8:7 Because
the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is
not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the
flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the
flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if
any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10 And
if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But
if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that
raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his
Spirit that dwelleth in you.
12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh,
to live after the flesh. 13 For if ye live after
the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of
the body, ye shall live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God,
they are the sons of God. 15 For
ye have not received the spirit of
bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we
cry, Abba, Father. 16 The
Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and
joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him,
that we may be also glorified together. 18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present
time are not worthy to be
compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. Is not that what Paul
said earlier on. Christ delivered me out of them all? All your put downs and
all your sufferings, are nothing compared to the Glory that shall be revealed
IN us. Yes, IN us. Not some day, now.
Now in closing let me say this. I’ve shown you today
by the Word of God how to create a wonderful atmosphere around you that you can
maintain. It all depends on you, not on others around you. If you want to get
caught up into someone else’s fuss, go ahead but you’re the one who will pay
the price. You reap what you sow. If you want the peace of God which passes all
understanding to rule in your life, then can create it by the things you think
about. Keep focused on His peace and walk in His Peace.
Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your
hearts, …
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all
understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto
you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled,
neither let it be afraid.
From his sermon, It
wasn't so from the beginning 60-1127M P:8 Brother Branham said, Did
you ever meet people that you just loved to be with? You've had that, and why,
they create that atmosphere by their life, the
way they live, and the things they think about, and the love they have for
you. You've heard my message on the--the opossum, you know, and on the bees
trying to sting me, the bull trying to kill me, animals... See? You create an
atmosphere, and that's the atmosphere you have to be in to pray for the sick.
See? It's the same thing. It's love that casts out evil spirits.
How can I overcome 63-0825M P:27 And then, now you take a
Christian that's supposed to be a Christian, let the Life of God go from him and the experience the joy of
serving Christ, and living in the church where such is going on, he rots twice as quick (See?
Right.), living right under it.
So if we are trying to follow the
Message of the hour, or at least this part of the Message, we should live
constantly in the Life of Christ. See? 'Cause if it don't, you lay around, and know that these things
that you're supposed to do and don't do it, the Bible said, "He that knoweth to do good and doeth it not,
to him it's sin." And he becomes dotie, rotten when
you're separated from the Life of God. So
strive with all that's in you to stay in the Life of Christ, that you'd be
fruit-bearing.
And don’t avoid the trial when they come, face them
head on, but create that atmosphere around you and watch how small those trials
become. From his sermon, Time tested memorials of
God 57-0818 P:46 Br. Branham said, Long years ago before they
had the smelters, they used to take the gold, … and beat it, and turned it, and
beat it, and turned it until the beater sees his reflection in the gold. That's the way God does His church. He
gives you trial after trial, test after test, trial after trial, test after
test, until the life of Christ is
reflected in your life, until you become peaceful, (that’s full
of peace) sober, meek,
gentle, humble, ready, submissive, willing, turn your head from
the things of the world and looking straight to Calvary to the One Who's
doing the beating. Many times you think it's strange because fiery trials, and
sickness, and persecutions; it's only done to test you, to get the dirt out of
you, to get the sludge out of you, to get the slowness out of you, to wake you
up to the place where you can look and see the reflection, or men can see the reflection of Christ in
you: Christ in you, the hope of glory.
God's provided way 59-0415A P:41 When
you wear the robe of Christ, you should have the Spirit of Christ in you. And the
Spirit of Christ will act like Christ. It will do the works of Christ. It
will be gentle, long-suffering, goodness, mercy,
meekness, patience, with the Holy Spirit. Love, joy, peace, long-suffering,
that's the Spirit of God that comes when you're robed with His righteousness.
His Spirit lives within you.
Where I think Pentecost failed 55-1111 P:44 And If
I've told you the Spirit of Christ was in me, I have to do the works of Christ.
And if you profess to be a Christian, depart from sin and selfishness and
tempers, and live like Christ did, a peaceful, humble, God-blessed life. Amen.
That's right.
