The Token no 1
The Passover Promise

P:20 Now,
this morning I told you, being not with you, I think we had another two or
three hour message this morning. But I just got started, and I thought I'd just
carry that over for tonight, but it was just too tremendous. I don't know
whether the people got it or not. I hope they do, everywhere. I hope there was some good tapes on it, so it can be carried out to be
known. That I believe of all the message that I ever brought, that
absolutely was ordained of God, outside of course the regular commission, like
the Seven Seals and things that was directly the Word of God. I'm talking about
a message to preach; I believe that one was it (See?), the one that's needed to follow
those Seven Seals.
21 Now,
watch what's come after the Seven Seals: the uniting of the people, united
signs, the red light flashing in the last days; the sign of women
getting prettier; and men, what they would do; all these signs of the Holy
Spirit leading up; and then come right back here to the capping-off of all those
messages since the Seven Seals. It's capped off in this one thing: the
Token that we are all right. See? Just check ourselves and see if we're in the faith.
NOw, I know many think they are in The Faith
because they have the doctrine, or they had brother Vayle for a teacher, or
they have a pastor who has an anointing upon him. But that is not what he is
talking about. You can understand all the mysteries and still not have
it. Like brother Vayle said to me on more than one occasion, he said Brian,
they got it but they don't got it. And though you might have a gift to preach,
, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though you might have
all faith, so that you could remove mountains, but if you don't have love, your
still nothing. 3 And though you bestow all your goods to feed the poor, and though you give your body totally as a
sacrifice to God, and have not love, it will profit you nothing. 4 For
love suffers long, and is kind; and love
envies not; and love doesn't vaunt itself up, Love is not puffed up,
5 It doesn't behave itself
unseemly, and it seeks not its own, it's not easily provoked, and thinks no evil; 6 Love rejoices
not in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 Love puts
up with all things, believes in everyone, hopes for all, and endures for all. 8 For you see, Love never fails: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
And a Vindicated
prophet told us in his sermon the Rejected King
60-0515M P:60 And
I heard a voice then that spoke to me that was in the room, said, "This is what you preached was the Holy Ghost. This is perfect
love. And nothing can enter here without it."
I am more determined than ever in my life that it takes perfect love to enter there. There
was no jealousy. There was no tiredness. There was no death.
Sickness could never in there. Mortality could never make you old, and
they could not cry. It was just one joy, "Oh, my precious brother."
And they took me up and set me up on a great big high place. And I thought,
"I am not dreaming. I'm looking back at my body laying down there on
the bed." And they set me up there, and I said, "Oh, I shouldn't
set up here." And here come women and men from both sides just in the
bloom of youth, screaming. And one woman was standing there, and she
screamed, "Oh, my precious brother. Oh, we are so happy to see you
here." I said, "I don't understand this." And then that voice
that was speaking from above me, said, "You
know it is written in the Bible that the prophets were gathered with their
people." And I said, "Yes, I remember
that in the Scriptures." Said, "Why, this
is when you will gather with your people."
I said, "Then they'll be real, and I can feel them." "Oh,
yes." I said, "But There's millions. There's
not that many Branhams." And that voice said,
"They're not Branhams;
them's your converts. That's the ones that you've
led to the Lord." And said, "Some of
them women there that you think are so beautiful were better than ninety years
old when you led them to the Lord. No wonder they're screaming, 'Our precious
brother.' "And they screamed all at once, "If you hadn't have went, we wouldn't be here."
Notice what they said, "If you hadn't have went, we wouldn't be here."
P:66 I am sure, Lord, if this little church this
morning could just look a-past the curtain: not an affliction among
them, nor never could be, not a sickness, nothing but perfection, and it's
just one breath between here and there, from old age to youth, from
time to eternity, from a weary of tomorrow and a sorrow of yesterday till a
present time of eternity in perfection. I pray, God, that You will bless every person here. If there be those here,
Lord, who does not know You in that way of love... And
truly, Father, nothing could enter that holy place without that type of love,
the new birth to be borned again. The Holy Spirit, God is love. And we know
that that is true. No matter if we move mountains by our faith,
if we did great things, still without that there we
could never climb that great ladder yonder. But with that, it'll lift us beyond
this earthly care. I pray, Father, that You will bless the people here, and may
that every person that has heard me this morning tell this truth, that You be
my Witness, Lord, as Samuel of old, "Have I
ever told them anything in Your Name but what was true?"
They're the judges. And I tell them now, Lord, that You taken me to that
land. And Thou knowest that it's true. And now, Father, if there be some
that doesn't know You, may this be the hour that they say, "Lord,
place within me the will to be Thy will."
Grant it, Father.
Therefore
this evening we'll begin our study of The Token Message that brother Branham
preached, because he said this is the sermon that was needed to follow up those
seals. This is the sermon that was needed to help us understand the importance
of receiving the Holy Ghost. This is the se4rmon, that we need for this is the
hour for it, and you will find out that if you do not have This token he speaks
of, you will not only miss the rapture, but you will be left for the plagues
that are to come.
So
let's pick up at paragraph 15 of the Token preached
The Token
16 Now, solemnly,
reverently we approach the Word. Now, I wish to read this morning from Exodus
the 12th chapter, and beginning with the 12th
verse, the 12th and 13th verse inclusive. And
listen close now. And then before communion, tonight, read the 12th chapter of Exodus, the entire chapter.
For just the 11th verse here is the getting ready for the journey and
the communion before the journey. And we want to approach this very
reverently now. Now, the 12th verse of the 12th
chapter:" For I will pass through the land of Egypt
this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and
beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the
LORD. And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the house where ye are:
and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be
upon you to destroy you, when I smite the
17 Now,
I want to take a text out of there, just one little five lettered word: "Token,
Token." I want to speak on the word or teach the Sunday school
lesson on the word of a "Token." And the Bible said here,
"And the blood shall be a token unto you."
And we want to use the word, "Token."
Now,
since he wanted for them to read the entire chapter 12 of Exodus let's just
take the time right to do what he asked his congregation to do. Let's just read
the entire 12th chapter as he suggested before the communion supper since we
will be talking the communion tonight after the sermon is ended.
Exodus 12:1 And the LORD spake
unto Moses and Aaron in the
2 This month shall be
unto you the beginning of months: it shall be
the first month of the year to you.
The
name of this month which God chose for Israel to have as their first month in
their new calendar is named "Nissan",
and you will see how that this month is a very important month to us as
believers as well, because it signals a beginning.
The Calendar God gave to
The entire cycle takes approximately 29˝ days. Since a month needs to
consist of complete days, a month is sometimes twenty-nine days long (such a
month is known as chaser, “missing”), and sometimes thirty days or (malei, meaning “full”).
Knowing exactly when the month begins has always been important in
practice of Judaism, because the Torah
schedules the Jewish Festivals according to the days of the month.
So in the next verse we see God do this exactly.
3 Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every
man a lamb, according to the house of their
fathers, a lamb for an house: 4 And
if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it
according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall
make your count for the lamb. 5 Your lamb shall be without
blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it
out from the sheep, or from the goats:
Notice
this lamb is a type of Christ, it is a male without
blemish. Notice it is taken on the tenth day
of the first month, and then 6 And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth
day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of
Now,
we as gentiles are living under the Roman calendar which is based upon the sun,
it is a solar calendar, and it's months are named after Roman deities and
important Roman people.
January was named after Janus, the god of doors and
gates.
March was named after Mars, the god of war.
May was named after Maia, the goddess of growth of plants
June is from junius,
Latin for the goddess Juno
July was named after Julius caesar,
the emperor.
August from
Augustus Caesar etc.
However,
we as Christians should not look to man's calendar but to God's, and the
Scripture we are reading tonight speaks to us of the very first Feast God
called for
It
is significant that the first of the four blood moon tetrads also fall on the
Passover in Nissan which was

Between the first two blood moons, and two is a
witness, we had a complete solar eclipse on

third blood moon fell on the feast of Passover again this year on

the new Pope will leave the

earthly...And isn't it 
strange that just before the pope took his
journey to Jerusalem, that the moon in the heavens made a total blackout,
just a few days before he took it, his journey. He's coming here also, you
know. See? Now, that's never been known. See? But what does it show? That
this, he's doing this to win fellowship as he met on the day after he come into

just come over here. Remember at the Tabernacle when them... You got tapes; I
guess all of you take them. How that the Lord showed there that day in the
Tabernacle exactly where those church ages would be and how they would be. And I
had them drawed out on the board up there, them
church ages which you see here drawed out in the book.
And if that Holy Spirit didn't come down in a big Pillar of Fire and went
right back there on the wall and drawed them out Hisself while three or four hundred people setting looking
at it. And just as
the Pope started over here, the moon somehow blacked out, and they
took the pictures, the same way that it was drawed up
there on the platform. Now, he's made his trip over here on the thirteenth,
walked thirteen steps, served communion to thirteen, to a nation that's number
thirteen, and blackouts coming everywhere. Don't you see where we're
at? We're at the end time. " Scoffers shall rise
in the last days, saying, 'There's no difference in the time than what it was,
than when our fathers fell asleep.'" But when you see
these things begin to happen, raise up your head; get
ready; something could happen at any time. Christ come
for His church.
I
think it is very noteworthy that within a couple hours that the last pope
resigned, "Benedict" I believe it was, like in "Benedict
Arnold", the first Traitor in American history. That's a good name for a
pope. Anyway, within a couple hours after he resigned lightning struck the
And
then the next pope comes along and after just a few months of becoming pope we
have the first Blood moon of the tetrad, and this Pope then a month later visits
Jerusalem, and it is also noteworthy that this same pope will leave the USA the
very day of the last blood moon on a Jewish Feast day for the next thousand
years. It is also significant that we experienced a total Solar
eclipse this year on the first day of the first month of the Calendar God gave His
people in Exodus chapter 12 that we read.
Now,
of all the Feasts that the Jews were commanded to keep, the Passover and the
Feast of Tabernacles are the most significant.
For the Feast of Passover represents the
Token being given for every house
to protect them from the judgments that will come on the unbelieving populace.
The display of the Blood of the lamb on each home kept the angel of death away.
and it had to be applied or it was of no effect.
The Feast of
Tabernacles is also very significant because it is this Feast of Tabernacles
which is also called the Feast of the Tents and it actually represents God's
Presence tabernacling or dwelling with His People.
And any person who did not come to this Feast of Tents during the time of the
Feast of Tents was placed under a curse where the plagues of Judgment would come
upon them. That is a promise of
God.
Deuteronomy 31:10 And Moses
commanded them, saying, At the end of every seven years, in the
solemnity of the year of release, in the feast of tabernacles,
Zechariah
14:16 And it shall come to pass, that every one
that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even
go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the
feast of tabernacles. 17 And it shall
be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto
Now,
I do not know about you, but I want to be in that Tent of His Dwelling, and be
there for the resurrection that is associated with that tent. And we see that
the last Blood moon begins as the pope leaves the
Could this be what
brother Branham meant when he said in his sermon, Acts of the Holy Spirit 54-1219E P:34
I believe, one of these glorious
days, when this united confederation of church goes together, and the new pope is brought out of
the United States and put over there according to prophecy, then
they'll form an image like unto the beast. And I tell you, the true
7 And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper
door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.
Notice
on the two side posts, and on the lintel, or top which represents the cross of
Christ.
8 And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast
with fire, and unleavened bread; and
with bitter herbs they shall eat it.
Each
of these things that are spoken of here are also
represented in Scripture as well. There is also a feast of the unleavened
bread, and we could spend a few sermons just on that. But to be short, they had
to make the bread unleavened because it was to be made in haste. And leaven is
what we call today "yeast". So the bread was to be made with just
ground wheat flour and water, and no yeast because there was no time for it to
rise.
Years
ago when we first began the church here in 1982, brother Vayle took me aside
and showed me how to make the communion bread, just as brother Branham had
taken him aside to show him how to make it, and we make it the same way today
as they did back here in the Book of Exodus. .
There
are people who use yeast but that is not to be done because yeast represents
false doctrine. Remember Jesus told the Disciples, "beware the leaven of the Pharisees which was there doctrine."
And Jesus said the
9 Eat not of it raw, nor sodden at all with
water, but roast with fire; his head with
his legs, and with the purtenance thereof. 10 And ye shall let nothing of it remain until the morning;
and that which remaineth of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire.
Again
we still do this to this day. If we have any left over from our communion table
this evening the Deacons are commanded to take it and burn what is left over.
That
is why we have the deacons make a count of all who will participate before they
actually break the bread and bring it out for the communion table to be blessed.
11 And thus shall ye eat it; with
your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in
your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: And that is why we do not sit down to eat it, but
rather you eat it as you pas through the communion line.
"it is the LORD'S passover. 12 For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and
will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and
against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD. 13 And the blood shall be
to you for a token upon the houses where ye are:
and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall
not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite

Another
thing I think is significant about the four blood moons,
is because the moon represents the church, and God said, "when I see the blood I will pass over you".
I
believe the Lord has given us a heavenly sign that this is the hour that the
token must be displayed because the death angel is on it's
way. And the Blood was for us a token, and now today the Life that was in the
blood must be on display in our lives for the death angel to pass over us and
not come near our dwelling place.
We
have signs in the heavens above and in the earth there is distress of nations,
and everything that can be fulfilled is quickly becoming fulfilled. So we do
not have time to waste. Time is blending in with Eternity. Apply the blood
brethren, apply the life.
And
then the Lord says, 14 And this day shall be unto you for a memorial;
and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye
shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.
Now,
why do you suppose they were to keep this feast as a memorial throughout every
generation forever? Because this scene is to repeat again, and the death angel
is coming again, and if you are aware of how they escaped in the alpha you will
know how to escape in the Omega of it. Therefore you will be aware when this
scene repeats again shortly for the heavens have declared it. And we have had a
prophet like unto Moses in this hour, and we have had the same Pillar of fire
that led Moses here leading us through the ministry of a vindicated prophet
again. And just as Moses left the scene and Joshua took the people in, our
Joshua which is Christ is here leading us to the Millennium as well.
Therefore
William Branham is telling us here in this sermon that the Token that was
displayed in Moses day is about to be displayed again in this day.
15 Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread; (and
this seven days represents the seven church ages.) even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your
houses: for whosoever eateth leavened bread from the
first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.
Now,
remember, leaven represent false doctrine added to the Measure of meal making
it bigger and greater than it really is.
Rapture
the 65-1204 P:34 the
communion when they'd kill that sacrificial lamb, there
was to be no leaven among them through the entire seven days. And
no leaven, no leaven bread, everything had to be unleavened. That represented the seven
church ages that we get in the book here. And there's no leaven what
it's something mixed with it. And we've the mixed creed, and
denomination, and everything else with the Word and still try to call It the Word. No leaven shall be the entire seven days.
And even what is eat today, don't try to keep it for tomorrow, burn it with
fire before the daylight comes, for there's a new message coming forth and
a new thing.
16 And in the first day there
shall be an holy convocation, (and we know that a convocation is a group of
people gathered in answer to a summons; assembly.)
and in the seventh day there shall be an
holy convocation to you; no manner of work shall be done in them, save that which every man must eat, that only may be done of you.
Notice
what takes place in the first is to take place in the seventh day, the Alpha
becomes Omega and there is to be a Holy convocation or gathering together unto
Him.
2 Thessalonians 2:1 Now we
beseech you, brethren, by the Parousia of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our
gathering together unto him,
Luke 17:37
And they
answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Where the body is, thither will the eagles be
gathered together.
17 And ye shall observe the
feast of unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I
brought your armies out of the

Here is a house, and
the worshipper, what was the requirement? Slay a lamb. On the fourteenth day
after it was put up, a male without blemish, all
"and dip it in the blood that is
in the bason, and strike the lintel and the two
side posts with the blood that is in the bason; and none of you shall go out at the door of his
house until the morning.
In
other words, once the Token has been applied to the door of the House, and
Christ is the door, we are to remain inside
Christ until the morning. remain in
Christ until the dangers have passed. And then in the next verse he tells us
why.
23 "For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians;
and when he seeth the
blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the
door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you. 24 And ye shall observe this
thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons for ever. 25 And it shall come to pass, when ye be come to the land which
the LORD will give you, according as he hath promised, that ye shall keep this service. 26 And
it shall come to pass, when your children shall say unto you, What mean ye
by this service? 27 That ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of the LORD'S passover,
who passed over the houses of the children of
I want you to notice that
God left specific instructions to the parents that they are to teach their own
children what these things mean. And if you are not doing this you are not
doing what God told you to do. For this is no different than what he said in Proverbs 22:6 Train up
a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from
it.
28 "And the children of
Can
you imagine what is coming to
Malachi 4:1 For,
behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea,
and all that do wickedly,
shall be stubble:
and the day that cometh
shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave
them neither root nor branch. 2 But unto you that fear my name
shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; ()he promises to come
on the scene with a healing campaign first and ye
shall go forth and grow up, as calves released from the stall.
3 And
ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of
your feet in the day that I shall do this,
saith the LORD of hosts. 4 Remember ye the law of Moses
my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for
all
5 Behold,
I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful
day of the LORD: 6 And he shall turn the heart
of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their
fathers, lest I
come and smite the earth with a curse.
So
before God comes to smite the earth with a curse, he will come with healing
campaigns and raise up a prophet like unto Moses, who
will have the anoiting of elijah
upon him. And he will come with mercy, and those who receive mercy will be saved
from the wrath of God, and those who turn down the
mercy which is the Message, there will be nothing left but judgment for them.
Now,
the bible tells of this promised destruction in many places including Isaiah
2 and Isaiah 28.
Isaiah 2 And it
shall come to pass in the last days,…
10 Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust,
for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty. 11 The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men
shall be bowed down, and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day. Notice
the picture above. What would the US Air Force be doing digging tunnels deep
under ground. 12For
the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty,
and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought 
low: 17And the loftiness of man shall
be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the LORD
alone shall be exalted in that day.
18And
the idols he shall utterly abolish". 19And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and
into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of
his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the
earth. 20In that day a man shall cast
his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for
himself to worship, to the moles (those who dig tunnels)
and to the bats; (those who dwell in caves and caverns) In other words the rich
will pay out their wealth to gain entrance to the tunnels and underground caves
and caverns. And that is exactly what the next verse tells us. 21To go into the clefts of the rocks, and into
the tops of the ragged rocks,
for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth. 22Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein
is he to be accounted of ?
Many governments and rich men like bill Gates are building themselves
underground shelters.. and
they have even built an underground doomsday vault to store their seeds.
Uncertain sound 61-0429E P:23 So
there's no security. There's no way to get away from it. You
can't dig down, them bombs will blow a hundred and
fifty feet in the ground, for a hundred miles square almost. And that's what we
know about. What of those that we do not know about? Every nation has its
secret things they're holding back. And just wonder what we do not know about.
Then they're talking about all this parading and going into places, and
finding somewhere, a bomb shelter, digging down in the ground, going
to move the government under some tunnel. What good would it do? Well,
if one of them bombs would hit, and you'd be fifteen hundred feet below it, it
would break every bone in your body, the concussion would.
Queen
of
I do not have time to go into all the end time prophesies that William
Branham and the scriptures spoke of but as you can see, Brother Branham was
dead right and it seems the people have fallen asleep and have not taken heed
to the warnings. They are more concerned with the food they eat than getting
their souls ready for getting out of here.
Isaiah 24:1 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty, and
maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof. 2 And it shall be, as with the
people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with
the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with
the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of usury, so with the giver
of usury to him. 3 The land
shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken this word. 4 The
earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth
and fadeth away, the
haughty people of the earth do languish. 5 The earth also is defiled
under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed
the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. 6 Therefore
hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate:
therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.
Let's skip forward to verse 17 Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth. 18 And it shall come to pass,
that he who fleeth from
the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out
of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows
from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake. 19 The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is
clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly. 20 The earth shall reel to and fro
like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the
transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again. 21 And
it shall come to pass in that day, that the
LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are
on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth. 22 And they
shall be gathered together, as prisoners are
gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days
shall they be visited. (in other words, there hiding places in the earth, the
pit will be where they meet their maker. That's what it means by "they shall be visited". 23 Then the moon shall be confounded, (that means it will
turn red like when a man blushes) and the sun ashamed,
(when men were ashamed they placed ashes all over themselves. So
figuratively the sun shall turn dark as ash.) when the LORD of
hosts shall reign in
So
the curse is coming, "thus saith the Lord."
Now,
let me close tonight by reading the final verses from Exodus 12:31 And he called for Moses and Aaron by night,
and said, Rise up, and get you forth from among
my people, both ye and the children of Israel; and go, serve the LORD, as ye
have said. 32 Also take your flocks and your herds, as ye
have said, and be gone; and bless me also. 33 And the
Egyptians were urgent upon the people, that they might send them out of the
land in haste; for they said, We be all dead men. 34 And the people took their
dough before it was leavened, their kneading troughs being bound up in their
clothes upon their shoulders.
35 And the children of Israel did according to the word
of Moses; and they borrowed of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of
