Token no 31

The Whole family under the Token

November 1, 2015

Brian Kocourek, Pastor

122 Are you tired? I'll just close just in a minute. I could cut it off and start tonight again, but if you want to wait just a little bit longer, I'll try to hurry. I want to place this right in, 'cause I think right now, while you're under the anointing of it, it'd be better to get it right now. Only when the token is displayed... Then the whole family must be under that token blood. Papa, mama, I know how you feel. I've got children too. I got to see them saved. I'm talking to myself today. See? I got brothers; I got sister; I got loved ones. I want to see them saved too; but remember, without the display of the Token, they'll perish. There's no resurrection for them. That's right. They're gone. Only when the Token's displayed...

Can you imagine what it will be like to be in a place where there will only be Holy Ghost filled people? There'll be no more politics there. There will be no more organizational spirits to deal with there. There will be no more "selfish" or "Self centered" spirit there.

For "eternal life is living for others," so the only people there will be self-less, Christ centered people. The people around you will never be thinking of themselves first, but they will be thinking about what they can do for you. All these years you've lived for others and sometimes, you didn't even get a lip service "thank you", but over there, oh my, others will be living for you and you will be living for others.

When with the savior we enter the glory land Won't it be wonderful there
Ended the troubles and cares of the story land Won't it be wonderful there?

Chorus:
Won't it be wonderful there Having no burdens to bear
Joyously singing, with heart bells all ringing Won't it be wonderful there?

Walking and talking with Christ, the Supernal One Won't it be wonderful there
Praising, adoring the Matchless Eternal One Won't it be wonderful there?

Chorus:
Won't it be wonderful there Having no burdens to bear
Joyously singing, with heart bells all ringing Won't it be wonderful there?

There where the tempest will never be sweeping us Won't it be wonderful there
Sure that forever the Lord will be keeping us Won't it be wonderful there?

Chorus:
Won't it be wonderful there Having no burdens to bear

Joyously singing, with heartbells all ringing
Oh, won't it be wonderful there?...

123   Look, Joshua... Wish we had time to read it. Mark it down. Joshua the 2nd chapter, believing, Gentile, harlot, Rahab...Oh, I just wish it was about nine o'clock. I'd like to take that and just show you how brother that...?... This harlot, Gentile... Watch. All her family... She was a believer; all her family had to get under that scarlet streak, that token. They had to go under it or they perished. They had heard of the wrath of God; they had heard of the displaying signs and miracles of God among His people, and they had to receive it; she had to receive it. God's destroying angel was coming. They knew it. Joshua was that angel. They were in line. And so is every nation in the world in line of God's judgment. This little old harlot, she had heard. "Faith cometh by hearing." She said, "All the country's disturbed about you." That's right.

Let's read it for ourselves. Joshua 2:1  And Joshua the son of Nun sent out of Shittim two men to spy secretly, saying, Go view the land, even Jericho. And they went, and came into an harlot's house, named Rahab, and lodged there.  2  And it was told the king of Jericho, saying, Behold, there came men in hither to night of the children of Israel to search out the country. 3  And the king of Jericho sent unto Rahab, saying, Bring forth the men that are come to thee, which are entered into thine house: for they be come to search out all the country. 4  And the woman took the two men, and hid them, and said thus, There came men unto me, but I wist not whence they were: 5  And it came to pass about the time of shutting of the gate, when it was dark, that the men went out: whither the men went I wot not: pursue after them quickly; for ye shall overtake them. 6  But she had brought them up to the roof of the house, and hid them with the stalks of flax, which she had laid in order upon the roof. 7  And the men pursued after them the way to Jordan unto the fords: and as soon as they which pursued after them were gone out, they shut the gate. 8  And before they were laid down, she came up unto them upon the roof; 9  And she said unto the men, I know that the LORD hath given you the land, and that your terror is fallen upon us, and that all the inhabitants of the land faint because of you.  10  For we have heard how the LORD dried up the water of the Red sea for you, when ye came out of Egypt; and what ye did unto the two kings of the Amorites, that were on the other side Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom ye utterly destroyed. 11  And as soon as we had heard these things, our hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for the LORD your God, he is God in heaven above, and in earth beneath.  12  Now therefore, I pray you, swear unto me by the LORD, since I have shewed you kindness, that ye will also shew kindness unto my father's house, and give me a true token: 13  And that ye will save alive my father, and my mother, and my brethren, and my sisters, and all that they have, and deliver our lives from death. 14  And the men answered her, Our life for yours, if ye utter not this our business. And it shall be, when the LORD hath given us the land, that we will deal kindly and truly with thee.  15  Then she let them down by a cord through the window: for her house was upon the town wall, and she dwelt upon the wall. 16  And she said unto them, Get you to the mountain, lest the pursuers meet you; and hide yourselves there three days, until the pursuers be returned: and afterward may ye go your way. 17  And the men said unto her, We will be blameless of this thine oath which thou hast made us swear. 18  Behold, when we come into the land, thou shalt bind this line of scarlet thread in the window which thou didst let us down by: and thou shalt bring thy father, and thy mother, and thy brethren, and all thy father's household, home unto thee.  19  And it shall be, that whosoever shall go out of the doors of thy house into the street, his blood shall be upon his head, and we will be guiltless: and whosoever shall be with thee in the house, his blood shall be on our head, if any hand be upon him. 20  And if thou utter this our business, then we will be quit of thine oath which thou hast made us to swear. 21  And she said, According unto your words, so be it. And she sent them away, and they departed: and she bound the scarlet line in the window. 22  And they went, and came unto the mountain, and abode there three days, until the pursuers were returned: and the pursuers sought them throughout all the way, but found them not. 23  So the two men returned, and descended from the mountain, and passed over, and came to Joshua the son of Nun, and told him all things that befell them: 24  And they said unto Joshua, Truly the LORD hath delivered into our hands all the land; for even all the inhabitants of the country do faint because of us.

Now, back to the Token, and we'll pick up at paragraph number 124 Now, the spies that were sent in there to make arrangements, and so forth, she honored those men. And she wanted to be saved. She said, "I know that your God is God, and I've heard what great things that He's done. I know what He done to Og, and I know what He done to the different nations. And I see that those who accept Him are saved, and those who does not accept Him are destroyed, and I want to live," she said. Oh, my. There you are. "I want to live, for they just..."

125 Notice, Jericho, had heard what God was doing, but they didn't want to take the warning. And there isn't a denomination in this country around, but what's heard what God's a doing. They don't want to take the warning. His great power and signs have been displayed. What He done, He crossed right through the Dead Sea, as if it was on dry land. He's caused... He created things, and made frogs, and lice, and fleas to come into the air, created them by His Word, through His prophet. That was no secret, They know it. And Rahab said, "I've heard that. I don't want to perish with these unbelievers." No, sir. Knew judgment had to follow it, 'cause they was right in line. She knew it. So they made a way for her to escape it.

Joshua 5:1  Now Jericho was straitly shut up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in.  2  And the LORD said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour. 3  And ye shall compass the city, all ye men of war, and go round about the city once. Thus shalt thou do six days. 4  And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams' horns: and the seventh day ye shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets. 5  And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram's horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him.  6  And Joshua the son of Nun called the priests, and said unto them, Take up the ark of the covenant, and let seven priests bear seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark of the LORD. 7  And he said unto the people, Pass on, and compass the city, and let him that is armed pass on before the ark of the LORD. 8  And it came to pass, when Joshua had spoken unto the people, that the seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of rams' horns passed on before the LORD, and blew with the trumpets: and the ark of the covenant of the LORD followed them. 9  And the armed men went before the priests that blew with the trumpets, and the rereward came after the ark, the priests going on, and blowing with the trumpets.  10  And Joshua had commanded the people, saying, Ye shall not shout, nor make any noise with your voice, neither shall any word proceed out of your mouth, until the day I bid you shout; then shall ye shout.  11  So the ark of the LORD compassed the city, going about it once: and they came into the camp, and lodged in the camp. 12  And Joshua rose early in the morning, and the priests took up the ark of the LORD. 13  And seven priests bearing seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark of the LORD went on continually, and blew with the trumpets: and the armed men went before them; but the rereward came after the ark of the LORD, the priests going on, and blowing with the trumpets. 14  And the second day they compassed the city once, and returned into the camp: so they did six days. 15  And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they rose early about the dawning of the day, and compassed the city after the same manner seven times: only on that day they compassed the city seven times. 16  And it came to pass at the seventh time, when the priests blew with the trumpets, Joshua said unto the people, Shout; for the LORD hath given you the city. 17  And the city shall be accursed, even it, and all that are therein, to the LORD: only Rahab the harlot shall live, she and all that are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent.  18  And ye, in any wise keep yourselves from the accursed thing, lest ye make yourselves accursed, when ye take of the accursed thing, and make the camp of Israel a curse, and trouble it.  19  But all the silver, and gold, and vessels of brass and iron, are consecrated unto the LORD: they shall come into the treasury of the LORD.  20  So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.  21  And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, and ox, and sheep, and ass, with the edge of the sword. 22  But Joshua had said unto the two men that had spied out the country, Go into the harlot's house, and bring out thence the woman, and all that she hath, as ye sware unto her. 23  And the young men that were spies went in, and brought out Rahab, and her father, and her mother, and her brethren, and all that she had; and they brought out all her kindred, and left them without the camp of Israel.  24  And they burnt the city with fire, and all that was therein: only the silver, and the gold, and the vessels of brass and of iron, they put into the treasury of the house of the LORD. 25  And Joshua saved Rahab the harlot alive, and her father's household, and all that she had; and she dwelleth in Israel even unto this day; because she hid the messengers, which Joshua sent to spy out Jericho. 26  And Joshua adjured them at that time, saying, Cursed be the man before the LORD, that riseth up and buildeth this city Jericho: he shall lay the foundation thereof in his firstborn, and in his youngest son shall he set up the gates of it. 27  So the LORD was with Joshua; and his fame was noised throughout all the country.

Now back to the token and we will read from paragraph 126 They must have believed that their own big denomination of Jericho was able to resist the wrath of God. See? Their own big denomination... That's what many of them are thinking today. "Oh, surely, God won't do that."That is what Satan said to Eve. "Oh, surely, God won't." He will, 'cause He said He would (See?), and that's His Word. Yes, sir. "Except a man be born, and these signs shall follow them that are born. (See?) This will all men know that you're My disciples," and so forth. See?

127 All right, wanted to do it... Oh, what happened? Now, they were shut up. "No revival's going to happen here. Our denomination won't sponsor such. We'll not have that kind of nonsense among us. I forbid any of you to go to that meeting." Jericho, right in the line of the damned...But there must've been some tape boys slipped in somewhere, for the predestinated seed. They slipped over to her house and played some tapes. She made her own house a church to receive the messages. (They still got them, you know.) The message got to the predestinated seed anyhow. We don't know how it got there, but it got there, so that the just will not perish with the unjust. God's seeing to that today. Some way it slips in. They don't know how, though they won't sponsor it; but there is some seed out there that's predestinated.

128 Anyone knows anything about the Bible, knew that that harlot was predestinated. She sure was. She didn't... The Bible said, "She perished not with them who believed not." That's right. But she believed the message of the hour, and God give her a sign by His messengers; said, "Take a scarlet red streak and tie it on your..." Said, "Remember, if you don't tie that streak there and leave it there, what we've escaped by, we're not responsible for our oath." And said, "If you're out from under it, we're not responsible." Oh, my. "Rahab, every predestinated seed in here, you get out there, and go to hunting them. Get your daddy, your mother, for we've just come under that atonement. Down in Egypt and everything that we didn't have under that token, perished. Rahab, I'm giving you a sign. It's a token."And I say in the Name of the Lord, it's the same. If you'll put that... "I'm acquainted with the messenger. I'm acquainted with the angel of wrath, Joshua, God's destroying messenger. I'm acquainted with him, and he know's that there has to be a token sign. And you hang that there, and I'll assure you; I take oath."

129 God took oath too, that what was out from under it would perish, and all that was under it would live. Now, the same oath is today, the same thing. See? "I will not let you perish with them who doesn't believe the message. And they..." She'd heard the works had been done, and she believed it. But about... She's... Her and father, and couple of brothers or something, was the only one believed in the whole city. See how few it is? Just one here and there. A little family will come out from a state. Is that right? Exactly now, we're talking facts.

130   We're... if you're going to see what the antetype is, you have to see what the type was first. You have to see what the shadow is, then you know what the real thing's going to look like. See? His power was displayed: judgment was in line. They must believe in order to be saved. Yes, sir. And these little fellows there went in there, these messengers, and caught that predestinated seed that believed.

Notice he said that Judgment was in line, and Jericho lay in line of the judgment of God. And the Bible tells us that the world now lays in line for judgment. She's had the message, the Shout of God blasted into every nation and still she disbelieves. There's only one thing left and that is for judgment.

Malachi 4:1  For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, "There's your Thus saith the Lord," and as surely as it is "Thus Saith the Lord' it will come to pass, and we are living in the age it will come to pass. " and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. 2  But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. 3  And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts. 4  Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments. 5  Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: 6  And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

And just as surely as the day of Judgment is upon the world, God was true to His Word and sent the Spirit of Elijah the prophet to make a way for the people of God who believe the messenger and the message that God sent. And as surely as Rahab the gentile Harlot was saved along with her entire family, you think God The Judge of all the earth would  do any less for His Virtuous Gentile Bride?

You think God would save a harlots life and her family and then destroy his elect lady and her family?

131 She used her house for a church to receive these messengers. They wouldn't let them in their churches. No, sir. So she... They won't let you either. They kick you out, if you say anything about it. Yes. See?

Go to their churches and try to tell them that John 14:12 is for all Believers filed with the Holy Spirit, and see if they let you speak?

They got all in her city that would believe under the token. That's exactly what we better do today. If you want some loved one saved, you'd better get them in right now. See? When God's wrath destroyed that big city, the token sign held her house safely.

In what? The sign was on her token, or the token was on her house. When the rest of the city shook to the ground... What was it? What was it?

And not only Malachi spoke of the destruction that is coming, but we see it also in Isaiah as well.

Isaiah 2:10  Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty. 11  The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day. 12  For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:

Isaiah 2:17  And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day. 18  And the idols he shall utterly abolish. 19  And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.  20  In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats;  21  To go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.

Isaiah 24: 1  Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof. Listen, this has already begun, the inhabitants are migrating all over the world. every nation is being inundated with migrants who are fleeing lands that are being laid waste.  But that is just from what man is doing to man. Wait until the Lord brings from outer space that which will turn the earth upside down, in a great global shift, and the tidal waves will destroy the populations for 200 miles in shore on every coast line throughout the entire world, and the islands shall flee away we are told.

2  And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him.  3  The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken this word. 4  The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish.  (that means sick, weak and feeble) 5  The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.

The whole world has defiled themselves in promiscuous sexual sin, they have transgressed the laws of God, that are righteous and Holy. and they changed the marriage ordinance, opening it up for sodomite cohabitation and calling that marriage. And they broken the everlasting covenant. And what is the everlasting covenant?

Hebrews 13:20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, 21  Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

And Isaiah tells us they have broken the everlasting covenant of the Blood of Christ, and they trample it under foot as we see also in Hebrews 10:29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

Isaiah 24:6  Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left. 7  The new wine mourneth, the vine languisheth, all the merryhearted do sigh. 8  The mirth of tabrets ceaseth, the noise of them that rejoice endeth, the joy of the harp ceaseth. 9  They shall not drink wine with a song; strong drink shall be bitter to them that drink it. 10  The city of confusion is broken down: every house is shut up, (boarded up) that no man may come in. 11  There is a crying for wine in the streets; all joy is darkened, the joy and rejoicing of the land is gone. 12  In the city is left desolation, and the gate is smitten with destruction. 13  When thus it shall be in the midst of the land among the people, there shall be as the shaking of an olive tree, and as the gleaning grapes when the vintage is done. 14  They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing for the majesty of the LORD, they shall cry aloud from the sea. 15  Wherefore glorify ye the LORD in the fires, even the name of the LORD God of Israel in the isles of the sea. 16  From the uttermost part of the earth have we heard songs, even glory to the righteous. But I said, My leanness, my leanness, woe unto me! the treacherous dealers have dealt treacherously; yea, the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously.

And if we haven't seen treachery in our land these past generation. We haven't had honesty in the white house since Eisenhower.  And the last few presidents have been totally traitorous. But didn't the Apostle Paul speak of such treachery and traitorous spirit as a mark of the end time?

2 Timothy 3:1  This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3  Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,  4  Traitors, heady, (intellectuals) highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5  Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

Now, back to Isaiah 24:17  Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth. 18  And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake. 19  The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly. 20  The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, (listen, that is what it is doing now, so what's next?) and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again. 21  And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.  22  And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, (into the underground so called secure installations) and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited. (by who? by the death angel of course) 23  Then the moon shall be confounded, (the Hebrew word means to turn red or blush) and the sun ashamed, (and when Israel showed signs of their shame they clothed themselves in sackcloth and ashes.) when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.

So we see the day of the Lord approaching quickly, and we see the condition that the world is headed for and even now entering into that age of darkness and destruction. Because God came down in mercy and the people rejected His Mercy which is the Shout or Message, and because they spurned mercy he shall give them judgment.

Now, back to the token, and we'll read from paragraph 132 Joshua, the messenger of God... God Himself recognized His messenger's message. Amen. It proved it; it proved it. They recognized the message. He recognized His messenger's message, and when all the rest of the city shook down, there stood Rahab's scarlet token over the door, and the rest of them was gone. Then, right straight up, went the destroying angels, and destroyed everything that was in the city. Not even a piece of goods was left. One took out a piece of goods, and had to perish with it, out of that denomination. Took the whole thing and destroyed it. Cursed be the man that ever tries to build it. His firstborn will die when he starts, and so forth. God cursed it, like that. That big thing that rejected the message of grace and mercy, thought they were safely secured...

133 Many people thinks today, "Because I belong to the church, I'm safely secured." Don't you believe such nonsense, when the Blood shall be a token unto you. The Spirit now is a Token unto you, the Life that was in the Blood. Same... Just think of that... The same token that they used in Egypt, the same life token, that was in the Egypt is in Egypt, God used the same symbol up there.

134 Joshua, a perfect type of Jesus, was true to the token sign, that his messengers had preached. Joshua, when he said that, said, "Don't touch that house or anything in it. It's reserved for the Lord." Amen. A Gentile, a harlot, streetwalker, but she heard and believed, and she applied the token. No matter how stooped you are in sin, what you have done; that doesn't have one thing to do with it. You apply the Token. It's for you. If you feel in your heart there's something tugging, it's for you; you apply the Token.

135 And the great... The word "Joshua" means Jehovah Saviour. So does "Jesus," means "a Saviour." And Joshua, when he knew his messengers, his messengers turned back and said, "I have obeyed your orders."And there was a woman we found... (When we played the tapes, you know.) We found a woman that believed, and we told her that all that would come under that red sign back there, the token, it would mean...

Now, I've preached that. Will you honor it, Joshua?" "I sent you to do it." Amen. And then when that. God honored that. The house never shook down. And then, when Joshua stood there and gave the signal to destroy the whole thing, went right straight up, and Rahab and all her people set right and all their possession. Amen. Amen. All their possessions was in the house, safely. They just stood there, and didn't have to look out the window. They could read the Scripture while the battle was going on. She come right back and courted the general in the army, and was raised up, and come up in Bethlehem, and her portion was 'lotted up in there to them. And she brought forth a famous son, and that famous son brought forth another famous son, and that son brought forth another famous son, until the great famous Son came. Right back down and on through Obed, and on through Jesse, and on down into David. That's right. Harlot Rahab, because she believed the messenger, she applied the token, and her house was saved, or she'd have perished down there where she was at.

136 Listen close now. Oh, say, he recognized it? All under it was saved in Egypt. All under it was saved in Jericho, All under It will be saved today. The blood-bound, blood lamb is a type of Jesus Christ. In Hebrews 13:10-20... I ain't got time to read it. Put it down, I was going to read it. It is called the "Everlasting covenant." The Blood of Jesus Christ is called the everlasting covenant." Yes, sir. Everlasting covenant... Why wasn't it called the eternal covenant? Because that it wouldn't be eternal. When we're redeemed, it's all over then. It is an "everlasting" which means "certain amount of time, till time is up." There'll never be another one. When time runs out, we won't need no covenant; but until time runs out, we need the covenant.

And your character will reflect your love for that covenant. So we see then that a person's outer actions are only a reflection of their inner thinking. And messed up theology is what has caused this problem.

Hear Ye Him 38 It's your character, your conduct that gives God confidence in you. ... Stay with God's Word. That's God's Truth; that's the Pattern; that's the Blueprint. That's the reason the church today has got all kinds of isms and everything in it, is because they don't stay with the Word. They won't listen to the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit won't testify of one other thing but God's Word. That's exactly right.

Token The 64-0308 135 Then when we pray, we must have the Token to present with our prayers, as I said, and now believe for yourself and apply the Token to the whole family like in Egypt, Jericho, or either in Acts 16:31. We find out that Paul told the Roman centurion, say, "Believe thou, and all thy house shall be saved."

Let's just stop for a minute and read that Scripture brother Branham is pointing us to.   Let's open our Bibles to Acts 16 and begin reading at verse 25.

Acts 16:25  And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. 26  And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed. 27  And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled. 28  But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here. 29  Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, 30  And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? 31  And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. 32  And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house. 33  And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway. 34  And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house.

Notice brother Branham refers to Acts 16:31. and then says,  "We find out that Paul told the Roman centurion, say, "Believe thou, and all thy house shall be saved." Apply it to your family. If you got a unsaved child, lay the Token right on top of him, say, "Lord God, I claim him." Stay right there. If you got a mother or a loved one that's lost, lay that Token on them, say, "Lord God, I claim it." Move out, of all the worldly trash, out of your house, get ready for it. Burn up your shorts. Throw your card tables away. Get rid of your cigarettes. Dump your unbelief and your church papers in the trash can where they belong. Amen. Then you're getting ready. Then what do? Then apply the Token in prayer, with real evidence, real faith. Apply it, apply it with confidence. When you apply the Token, know that you're cleaned up. "If our hearts condemn us not, then we have our request." As long as you people are doing them things that's wrong, how you going to ask God to do anything for you when you know you're wrong? That's the reason we just stagger up and stagger back. I'm not saying this to hurt. I'm saying this to straighten out, to get things right. How you going to build it upon the chars of a Sodom and Gomorrah?

The Token 63-0901M 48-3 Flee for safety; then apply. See? Believe for... Here's what you want to believe for. See? You want your own safety. You believe for your safety, and then apply the Token for the whole family. See? You say, "How can I do that?" Claim it. If it worked on you, then you and the Word becomes one. Amen. Amen. See, it... See, it works for both of you. You and the Word are one. Then apply it to your children. Apply it to your loved ones like Rahab did. She applied the token to her father; she applied it to her mother; she applied it to her brothers and sisters, and got them all in. You apply it. Say, "Lord, I'm going after my son. I'm going after my daughter. I claim her; Satan, you turn her loose. I'm coming after her. I apply my Token." The Holy Spirit... "Oh, Holy Spirit that lives within me, catch my daughter there. I'm going to her now with Your anointing upon me. He will do it. Amen.

The Token 63-1128E 118 Now, we see that we're living down at the last hours, the believers must accept all the Word. Notice, it was not just to get together and talk about it, that all the Jews come together and say, "Now, I'll tell you what, tell you, fellows. You know, I believe that Moses is right, because look, we see God identifying Himself with Moses. Because we see that Pillar of Fire; we know what happened. We know all the identifications that God's given Moses. It's right. You know, he said we've got to have the blood on the door. I believe that. But, you know, after all, I believe I'm just about as good as anybody. I'm really a covenant Jew. I've been circumcised and I pay my offerings and tithes into the congregation. Why, even the priest, I eat dinner with him. Well, I'm just as good a man as the rest of you are." That isn't what happened. 119 We're not to come together to talk about the Message. We are come together to get in the Message. And the Message is Christ; He is the Word. That's right. We're to get into It, get beneath It. Yes, sir. That's what we're supposed to do. He was not responsible for any persons out from under the blood, not one; no matter who he was, he was not responsible. All had to take not only himself, but his whole family. They're only safe when the token was displayed. We cannot feel safe until this Token is displayed. That's right. You must come under this Token, God's Holy Spirit. And It displays to you Jesus Christ, because It comes and lives in you.

There you are: John 14:12 is the display of the Token made alive and living and manifesting Itself in you. And John 14:12 is Romans 8:15 - 23, which is the Spirit of adoption at work and the manifestation of the sons of God.

That's when you speak like he spoke, and you live like He lived, and you act like he acted, and you do the very works that he did and in the same way He did them. And the Life of Christ will manifest Itself in you in the same way it manifested itself in God's firstborn son.

Romans 8:15  For you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but you have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16  The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17  And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. (Sons and daughters of God all with the same Doxa as Jesus. The same values, the same opinion, and the same judgments.) 18  For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 19  For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. 20  For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, 21  Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22  For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.  23  And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

And if God said, it and we believe it, then that settles it. It's a done deal my brothers and sisters, all we have to do is to lay in the presence of the son to ripen into fully mature sons and daughters of God in the very image of the first born son.

Let us pray.
