Token no 47
Seals you in

14:19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth
me no more; but ye see me: because "I"
live, ye shall live also.
Let us Pray...
Dear Gracious and Loving Father, we come
to You in thanksgiving this evening and thanking you for a new Year, this 2016.
Father, I never thought we would make it to such a year, because I have been
looking for the resurrection every spring for the past 40 years. But knowing it doesn't make much difference
as long as You are here with us, yet we all long to be out of this pest house
where things in the world get worse and worse each year.
But we are
hear to give thanks giving to Thee this morning for coming down in this hour to
give us life, and rest through your Shout, and we pray that we will indeed be
ready for the Voice of the resurrection very soon. And we know Your Shout is a
Message and that Message is Life to us. We thank Thee Father, for not only giving
us the Promise of Eternal Life through Your Son Jesus, but for coming down in
this hour and manifesting that life to us, so we can have an understanding of
how we also must act in accordance with that Eternal Life you have given us
through your son Jesus. And we thank you for your Word of Life, and we believe
Your Word is a Seed, and as a Seed it contains Life. Your Seed and thus Your
Life. And we know that every seed must bring forth after it’s kind, for that is
the Law of reproduction. And we know “when Christ who
is our Life shall Appear, we shall also appear with Him in Glory.” And
we know this Glory that we are to appear or openly manifest in, is your “Doxa”
which is your opinion, judgment and assessment, which is Your very mind coming
into Your Children. So we are a thankful people for all you are doing here in
this small congregation and for all that You are doing through this ministry
throughout the world. And, therefore Father, we commit ourselves to your great
purpose and plan that You have made known to us in Jesus Name we pray, amen.
You may be seated.
This evening we will pick
up at paragraph 162 of The Token where brother Branham said, "Proves that God raised Him up from the dead. You
believe it? He's a living among us
today. And that "I," is Christ, and that "I," is with us to the
end of the, "consummation," which means "the
end of the world (See?), the end of the world."
According to His promised Word; He promised it. "And the works that "I"
do shall you also."It's not nonsense to us. It's
the Token. It's the Token. We accept this sacred Blood sacrifice... We accept
His sacrifice Blood. Then give (See?) that
gives us the Life,
the Token, a seal of His promise. Ephesians 4:30, said, "Grieve not the" blood?--no, "Grieve
not the Holy Spirit, whereby ye are covenanted (put away)--you are
covenanted; you are a Token; the Holy Spirit will be the seal..."
163 When anything's sealed
inside of a seal, you better not break it. Can't break it, not God's seal.
No. For you are... "Grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby you are sealed until the
day of your redemption,
when the body's raised up."It is a seed, a sign that the seed has been germitized with Eternal Life, Zoe,
"My own life, and
I'll raise it up again, at the last day." And as you
walk, you have confidence that the Life of Christ is in you,
and you are in Him. By
one Spirit we're all baptized into one Body, and sealed there by the Holy Ghost, among
the believers like this, until the day that Jesus raises us up.
In nature we know that the life is in a seed, and once
it is planted and the light of the sun strikes it, the life in the seed begins its
journey towards manifestation of its true nature. In other words, it begins
it's life cycle towards an expression of what Life and Nature is intrinsically
in that seed. And that is the law of Life as we see in Genesis 1:11 which tells us that
"every seed
will bring forth after it's kind or nature.
Now, we know according to biological sciences, that
until the light strikes the seed, the seed will not manifest the innate nature
of the life that lays within it. So it takes the Light to manifest the Life.
In fact the apostle Paul said, in Ephesians 5:13 But all things that are reproved are made
manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.,
and we see this law of life in the spiritual as well as in the natural. And we
know that Christ is the Light of the
world, and according to John 1:3 tells
us, All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In
him was life; and the life
was the light of men. 5 ¶ And the light
shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
Now, we know that the son of God was a dual being,
sometimes the father was speaking and sometimes the Father who indwelt Him was
speaking.
Sirs we would see Jesus 57-1211 P:21 Now, Jesus was born for one purpose, that was for
God to manifest Himself through that body. God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself. He was a body that was made physical, that
men and women could see what He thought, and His expressions to the people in
His gratefulness. And His attitude towards all mankind, He expressed it through
Christ. Christ seemed to be a dual personality. He would speak sometimes
and they'd scratch their heads; and they didn't understand Him. He'd speak one
thing one time, look like, and something else another time. What it was,
was Jesus speaking, and then Christ speaking. Jesus was the man.
Christ was the God that was in Him.
"Not Me that
doeth the works: My Father that dwelleth in Me, He doeth the work." See? God will not share His glory with
no one.
It is I be not afraid 62-0726 P:93 Now, the Holy Ghost is here, and Jesus said, "If I do not the works of My Father, then don't
believe Me."
Is that right? They
couldn't believe Him, being a man, being God. They just couldn't see
it, that that could be anything. Said, "You make Yourself equal to God, being the Son of
God." Now, we
know Jesus was Son.
He said, "The
Son can do nothing in Himself, but what He sees the Father doeth." Thomas said, "Show us the Father and it sufficeth us."He said, "I've been so long with you, and you don't know Me?
He that seen Me hath seen the Father. It's not Me that doeth the works. It's My
Father that dwelleth in Me."
God is a Spirit,
Jesus was the man.
He was a Tabernacle that God dwelt in. See? Now, He had the Spirit
without measure, like all that water out there in the sea. That was what
was in Him. But in us, it's just a spoonful out of it. We got it by measure.
But remember, the same chemicals that's in the whole sea is in the spoon, not
as much of it, but the same kind. Amen. See? That's right. That's the reason He
said, "He that believeth on Me, the
works that I do, shall he do also."Now, when he showed His Messiahic sign,
that was for some. He was a teacher. Here they are. Here's
different things, what all He done. Here it is represented in His church.
He's here to help you, and we're here preaching the Word, doing everything we
can to help you.
So he is
talking about the very same life, and thus the very same nature and the
very same attributes and characteristics of His life. Jesus had it
without measure, and we have it in a measure, yet it's the very same Life, the
very same nature, and thus the very same characteristics and attributes.
And if that is so, then the law of life would produce in our vessels the
very same life, the very same actions, the
very same thinking, the very same speech, and the
very same works that was in him. "He that believeth in Me, he that
is filled with My spirit is able to believe, and these works, this life, the
words which I speak shall they do also." because it's the seed,
it's the life in them doing living out the same life in their vessel as what
lived in His vessel.
In fact brother Branham said,
Thirsting for life 59-0613 P:24 What are Christians to do? We're aliens. But our
Father is the King, and we are sons and daughters of God. We ought to
conduct ourselves like sons and daughters of God. When I see the church
becoming so loose, and the women in their immoral dressing, and the men doing,
it just grieves me, because we are sons and daughters of God, and we ought to act, and walk, and
talk, and conduct ourselves like that. When we get away from
that, I'm afraid there's something wrong in us. We've lost the vision, who we
are. Because the life that's in us is what guides us and directs us.
Arrow of God's deliverance 56-0801 P:27 I want my experience to match God's Bible. That's
the matching time.If you want to match something, match your experience against
Paul's. Amen. That's what we need today, is a matching time with Paul's faith
in the Bible. That's our example. Right. Real matching time... Don't try to
match your neighbor; match some of the saints of the Bible. If you're a saint, act like a
saint, walk like a saint, dress like a saint, talk like a saint, pray like a
saint, believe like a saint, dress like a saint, be like a saint, live a saint,
die like a saint and go to heaven like a saint. Amen.
Presuming 62-0117 P:144 So
they have come now, Lord, to consecrate themselves to be set aside from the
world, that they don't want nothing to do with the world. They want to be so completely
surrendered to You, till
their whole being reflects Christ; that when they walk, talk, dress, act, it's Christ's
reflection constantly in their lives. And, heavenly Father, I pray
that You'll grant that to them.
Why cry speak 63-0714M P:116 How we thank the Lord for this; walk a
consecrated life. Give
yourself over to sweetness, humility, walk in the Spirit, walk, talk, dress,
act like Christians, humble and sweet; don't let this fail now.
1963-0728 Christ is the Mystery (86-1)
And then the Word moves on down into the Body from the Head. What is it? This
same word. Nothing can be added or taken from It. So
that same Word moves from the Head as the day comes close,
down into the Body, down into the Body vindicating
that they are One. They're Husband and Wife. They're flesh of His flesh, Word
of His Word, Life of His Life, Spirit of His Spirit. See? Amen. How do you know it? Bears the same record, same fruit, same
Word (See?), manifests Christ: same Life, same
God, same Spirit, same Word, same Book (Amen!), same signs, "Things that I do shall you also."
Oh hallelujah. My...
From His sermon, We would see Jesus 57-0226 P:21 William
Branham tells us the reason why John 14:12 is for all, and what purpose it is
for. "But
now, while He's here working with His
Church in the form of the Spirit... Then if His Spirit is with us, He will
act just exactly like He act when He was here on earth. It'll make you act the same way, because it's not your spirit anymore; it's His Spirit in you,
Christ's Spirit in you. "The
things that I do... He that believeth on Me (Saint John 14:12.), the works that
I do, shall ye do also." See? We'll do the same works, think the same thoughts, live
the same type of life. If the Spirit of God is in you,
it makes you live like Christ, Christ-like. Then you become a
written epistle, read of all men, Christ
in you, reflecting His Light out
of you, as God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, and
reflecting God from His own body. No man has seen God at any time, but the only
begotten of the Father has declared Him. God was in Christ. And what Christ's
attitude was, was God's attitude, 'cause the two work together, the Spirit and
flesh united together.
In fact we are taught in Scripture "as he is so are we".
1 John 4:17 Herein
is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment:
because as he is, so are we in this
world.
Notice Jesus says in John
8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto
them, saying, I am the light of the
world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the
light of life.
And then he says in Matthew
5:14 You
are the light of the world. A city that is
set on an hill cannot be hid.
And Jesus told us the same thing had to take place for
the Life of God to move into the church of the Living God.
JOHN
12:23 And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the
Son of man should be glorified. 24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground
and die, it abideth alone: but if it
die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
Jesus told us in John 6:63 That the word of God is Life. And that
the Spirit of God quickens that Life in
us. It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth
nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
In 1 John 1:1 we read, "That
which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our
eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of
life 2 For the life was manifested, and
we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew
unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested
unto us;"
Now, the Life is in the Father before it can come into the son. And while
it is in the Father it is in seed form.
John 5:26
For as the Father hath life in himself;
so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;
And we know that the Life form in which God brings forth His own Life is
in His Word. The Apostle Paul called it
the word of Life in Philippians 2: 16 Holding
forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the
day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither labored in vain.
And again in Acts 5: 20 The apostle
Peter said, Go, stand and speak in the temple to the
people all the words of this life.
And it was Peter who taught us that our New Birth comes by the Word of
God being sparked off in our being. I Peter 1:23 Being born again,
not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which lives and abides
for ever.
Now, notice he told us there are corruptible seeds and incorruptible. And
he tells us the incorruptible seed is God’s Word, for all other seeds have a
beginning and an ending of Life but there is only one source of Eternal Life, and
that is God’s own Life. Therefore when you receive Eternal Life is when the
very Life of God comes into you and sparks you to the Life that He ordained for
you even before He even spoke the world into existence. Because you had to be a
part of God in order to have Eternal Life.
In fact we see the entire plan of God in Ephesians
1. So let’s open out Bible to Ephesians chapter one and begin
reading at verse 3 ¶ Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord
Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly
places in Christ:
Now here we're told that not only is God the Father of Jesus Christ but
He is also the God of Jesus Christ. He said, Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus
Christ
Now, in the next verse we see that we were actually in Him before the
foundations of the world. 4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation
of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him or
in His presence..
Then because of His great Love he has for His own He sets in order His
great Plan for His Children.
5 in love having predestinated
us (past
tense)
This is what He did while we were yet in His mind before He even framed
the worlds. Then when God framed the worlds with us in His mind, He framed them
for us to enjoy. God existed for an eternity before He even framed the worlds,
so He didn’t do it for Himself, he didn’t need it, but He did it for you and I
so that we might enjoy the mountains and the sea, and the valleys and the
rivers etc. And he did this do we might inherit it all. Oh, I'm so excited
about inheriting a nice mountain place where there will be a nice mountain lake
and a little stream running past my home to get my water from, and to be
soothed by the water babbling over the rocks in it.
Let's read again, 5 in love having predestinated us unto the adoption of
children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his
will, so it was His good pleasure to predestinate us unto the
adoption of Children by Jesus Christ.
5 in love having
predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself,
according to the good pleasure of his will.6 To the praise of the glory of his
grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. 7 In whom we have
redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches
of his grace; 8 herein he hath abounded toward
us in all wisdom and prudence;
Now, in getting back to the seed Life, we see also in John 6: 68 Then Simon Peter answered him,
Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.
And so we see that the Word is a Seed and the Life in that seed is God’s
Life, eternal Life. John 5:24 Verily,
verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath (echoes) everlasting life, and shall not come
into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
And therefore the attributes of one ordained and predestinated to God-Life
is that they will believe. Acts 13: 48 And
when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the
Lord: and as many as were ordained to
eternal life believed.
John 6:
63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth
nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
From His sermon, The Masterpiece 64-0705 118 we hear the same words from brotjer
Branham as he spoke in the Token. he says, "But
you can't hide a germitized seed. It's got to come
forth. Because why? The Great Sculptor is on the job. Going to build again, so the Seed went down, the Word. 119 When we see
It lived because the seed is a carrier of Life.
Now, in Matthew mark and Luke we hear Jesus tell the
parable of the Son of Man who went forth sowing seeds. And the seed which Jesus
was talking about that fell into good ground was the very Life that was in Him,
that begin to come forth on the day of Pentecost. This Seed that was sown in
the first age has come up to a complete body in this last age. And when
planted, the seed will bring forth a crop that is in the same likeness as the
seed that went into the ground.
And if Christ the Word was a seed that was buried in
death and came forth when God raised up His Son from the grave and then on the
day of Pentecost that same Life begin to grow up and manifest itself in the
Church, the if it was the Word Seed that
was buried, then that very Life that was in that Word must also produce the
same Life back in the church again, at the Harvest Time.
And since we know that the Word was made flesh, and we
beheld His Glory, and that Glory that we beheld was the Doxa of God which was His Very opinion,
assessment, and Judgment in the earth, then as the Apostle Paul said, He is to
come again and this time to be glorified in His Church. That is 2 Thessalonians 1
and verse 10.
And that Glorification will be the Word again in human
beings, sons of God in which the Apostle Paul told us, “Let this Mind that was in Christ be in you.”
So we see that there are an ordained people who will learn to get out of the
way and let God and let God.
And Jesus told us the same thing in Luke 6:45 A good man out of
the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil
man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil:
for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
Notice that he is telling us that out of the abundance
or overflow of the heart, which is the understanding, the mouth speaks. So what
things you say is dependent upon what you are thinking.
And so we are looking at the fact that our words are
only a reflector or reflection of what
stage of growth we are at.
Now the way for any child to grow up, is that they begin to speak the
words which they hear their parents speaking. A baby, like any person is
limited to words which it hears from others. That is why we need to listen to
the Voice of God on a regular basis. And just as a baby begins to formulate their
little minds to the place where they begin to speak intelligible words, based
upon what they hear, so too our minds, spiritually speaking, in order to grow up
into the full stature or reflections of our Heavenly Father, must begin to
formulate our thoughts into the same Words which He spoke to us.
In John 5:19 Jesus
said the son can do
nothing in himself but what the Father shows him to do. Now, I want
you to notice that Jesus, just like any
child, did not have words of his own. We all began our talking by emulating the
words which we heard our mothers and fathers speak, and Jesus was no different.
John 7:16-18
Jesus
answered them, and said, My doctrine is
not mine, but his that sent me. 17 If any man will do his will, he shall
know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or [whether] I speak of myself.
18 He that speaketh of himself seeketh
his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true,
and no unrighteousness is in him.
If the children talk about Jesus and the things of God
then you'll know what is being talked about in that home. But if the child
cusses and uses vulgar words, then you'll
also know what kind of atmosphere is in that home. “By their fruits you shall know them.”
And so we see that Jesus as our example, said, “I can
of mine own self do nothing, What I say, What I do, I have been taught this by
my Father. Even the Doctrine I speak is not mine, but His that sent me”.
Jesus told the Pharisees in John 8:38 “I speak
that which I have seen with my Father: and you do that which you have
seen with your Father.”
And so if we are to grow up into the Image of our
Father, we must fist see Him, and then we must recognize what it is that He is
doing, that we might conform to this image.
1
John 3:1-3¶ Behold,
what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called
the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God,
and it doth not yet appear what we shall
be: but we know that, when he shall
appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 3 And every
man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
1 Corinthians 13:12 For now we see
through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then
shall I know even as also I am known.
Now this knowing comes as a result of
seeing and experiencing the power and Presence of God. And what Paul is
speaking of here is in reference to what he said in verse 9.
So let’s read verses 9-12. (read) For
we know in part, and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect is come,
then that which is in part shall be done away. 11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I
understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put
away childish things. 12 For now we
see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but
then shall I know even as also I am known.
Now, I think we would all agree, that Jesus was our
elder brother, and he set the example for what we should grow up into the
stature as Sons and Daughters of God. He
was our role model and our absolute for the Life that we desire.
Romans
8:29-30 Now the Weymouth translates
it like this: “For
those whom He has known beforehand He has also predestined to bear the likeness of His Son, that He might be the
Eldest in a vast family of brothers,”
Therefore, we can see that Jesus is the role model
that God, our Father, set before us. And Paul tells us himself that we are not
to be like children in our thinking forever. He went on to say, 1 Corinthians 13: 11
But when I became
a man, I put away childish things...
Now, I would like to ask some of you younger folks in
here this question. Why would a person
put away childish things when they become a man? Because the condition of their
mind no longer regards those things as important to them. And we have already seen the answer that Paul
gave us. Because when we are a child we think and understand as a child and
therefore we hold to childish things as well. But when we grow up in our
thinking and understanding, then those things that we held to as children don’t
have the same impact on us any longer. Therefore we have passed from that stage
of life into another as we see in...
Malachi
3:16 Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another:
and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written
before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name. 17
And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my
jewels; and I will spare them, as a man
spareth his own son that serves him. 18 Then shall ye return, and discern
between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serves God and him that
serves him not.
Peter was a pretty practical man and he tells us that
when a person has suffered in their body, they no longer have a desire to sin,
because their desires are changing with their growth in their spirit.
1
Peter 4:1 ¶
Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm
yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh
hath ceased from sin;
And this is true. The suffering in the body is but a
process that helps us to turn our real affections in the right direction. And
we are looking at the process of maturing here tonight.
John
6:44-45 No man
can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise
him up at the last day. 45 It is
written in the prophets, And they shall
be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned
of the Father, cometh unto me.
So it is important that we not only hear but learn.
And you do not learn unless you are focused on what is being taught.
John
14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father
will send in my name, he shall teach you
all things, and bring all things to
your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
2
Timothy 2:2 And the
things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who
shall be able to teach others also.
Hebrews
5:12 For when for the time
ye ought to be teachers, ye have
need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles
of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
1
John 2:7 ¶ Brethren,
I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from
the beginning. The old commandment is
the word which ye have heard from the beginning.
Now, in getting back to our
text this evening, we read in John 14:19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth
me no more; but ye see me: because "I"
live, ye shall live also.
"Because I live you live", that is what Jesus said..
And Paul said, "When Christ who is our Life
shall appear then you shall appear with him in the same Glory, the
same Doxa, the same opinions and values.
In John 14:20 Again Jesus said, "At
that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you."
Notice, at that day. And at that
day you will be one with the Father as Jesus was one with the Father. John 17:21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in
me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe
that thou hast sent me. 22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that
they may be one, even as we are one: 23 I
in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the
world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved
me.
Now, with that in mind
let's go back to what brother Branham said in paragraph 162, "Proves that God raised Him
up from the dead. You believe it? He's a
living among us today. And that "I," is Christ, and that "I," is with us to the end of the, "consummation,"
which means "the end of the world (See?), the end of the
world." According to His promised Word; He
promised it. "And the works that "I" do shall you also."It's not nonsense to
us. It's the Token. It's the Token. We accept this sacred
Blood sacrifice... We accept His sacrifice Blood. Then give (See?) that gives us the Life, the Token, a seal of His promise. Ephesians 4:30, said, "Grieve not the" blood?--no, "Grieve
not the Holy Spirit, whereby ye are covenanted;
you are a Token; the Holy Spirit will be the seal..."
163 When anything's sealed
inside of a seal, you better not break it. Can't break it, not God's seal.
No. For you are... "Grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby you are sealed until the
day of your redemption,
when the body's raised up."It is a seed, a sign that the seed has been germitized with Eternal Life, Zoe,
"My own life, and
I'll raise it up again, at the last day." And as you
walk, you have confidence that the Life of Christ is in
you, and you are in Him. By one Spirit we're all baptized into one Body, and sealed there by the Holy Ghost, among
the believers like this, until the day that Jesus raises us up.
In God's Only
Provided Place of Worship pp 250 brother Branham said, 250 You're sealed in there, you're beneath the Blood. You don't go
out no more. And then what are you? God's son in God's family, sealed in by the
Holy Spirit. The Devil couldn't get you if he had to; for you are dead, your
old husband part is dead; and you are buried, and your life is hid in God
through Christ, and sealed by the Holy Ghost. How's he going to get you? How
you going to get out? You're there! Glory! Now, I will leave that alone; just
enough so you'll know what I'm talking about.
And if
Paul said,"your
life is hid in God through Christ, and sealed by the Holy Ghost."
Then how are you going to get you? You're there! Glory!
Look at
what brother Branham is telling us here: Number 1) Your Life is Hid in God through Christ.
Number 2) You are sealed in so the Devil can't get you.
Number 3) You're sealed in so how could you ever get out or
be lost?
Notice how brother Branham substituted the words, "whereby you go
in and don't go out anymore until" for "whereby you are
sealed until". So he is telling us that the sealing in, is to
keep us from going out. Then we know that those who "depart from the faith" in this
last hour were never really sealed in to begin with. They could not have been
sealed in if they went out.
That is why it's so important to know and understand in this hour,
because it brings rest to your soul. Because this is the hour of great
deception, and people think they are sealed in, but they have never died yet to
be born again, so if they are sealed in, then what are they sealed into? There
is still too much self, too much "I this, or Me that, or My this" in their lives and
not enough death to self, not enough, "I am crucified
with Christ nevertheless I am living, yet it is not me that is living, but
Christ is living in me."
And we know that "it is God that is working in us both to will and to do",
and therefore, if there is no doing,
then it is very apparent that there is also no willing. Then it would remain
that there is no God in us. And if there is no God in us, then we are none of
His. So we see that all things must come back to this Word. Then it should be
no strange thing if it is by this Word, and through this Word, that we are
Sealed in, then if you are not sealed in, it is because you are not in This
Word.
Now, remember, we are living in the end-time, and it is very apparent
that one of the main attributes or characteristics of the end-time is that
there is going to be a falling away, which shows that those who fall away were
never sealed in to begin with. Because brother Branham said, if we are sealed
in then we are sealed in and can't go out, and wouldn't want to go out for any
reason.
Now, this leads us to another thought about this
sealing in. Because we find there is a group of people who will be sealed in,
and there is also another group who are not sealed in, and yet both are aware
of the Presence of Christ or the Parousia of Christ, in the last days. Yet the
Ones who are sealed in will not be deceived, and they will not go out from the
presence of Christ, but those not sealed into the Presence of Christ will not
be able to stay in His Presence as we see in.
2
Thessalonians 1: 7-10 that there are
two groups aware of His presence.
2
Thessalonians 1:7 And
to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed
from heaven with his mighty angels, 8 In flaming fire
taking vengeance on them that know not
God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: 9 Who
shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
In other words,
because they know not God, they have not "eido"
of God, they have not an an awareness of Him and his nature, and thus they obey
not the Gospel, and thus they are put out of His presence and put out of reach
of His glory, His opinions, His values, and His judgments. In other words,
these people hear about His presence with their ears, but since their hearts
are far from Him, they are not aware of Him. And I believe that is because they
are self focused and thus their own opinions, values, and judgments mean more
to them that God's. And thus they are not permitted to remain in His Presence.
But now, look at the
other group who are aware of His presence and fully comprehend His nature. It
says of them, 10 When
he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all
them that believe, because our (Paul's)
testimony among you was believed in that day. 11 Wherefore also we pray
always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this
calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of his
goodness, and the work of faith with power: 12 That
the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified
in you,
and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
So I leave you with one
question tonight before we partake of the communion table. Which one are you?
Are you the one who is so aware of His presence, that you live your life in
accordance with that awareness, or are you so into self that you are missing
the change that is sweeping God's Bride all over the world.
El Shaddai 59-0416 P:79 We've got
to have a wakening right quick or you're going to miss the rapture, friends. It could happen at anytime.
Let us pray...
