Unveiling of God no 100

Two Vines - Identifiable attributes of the Father, part 1

June 8, 2019

Brian Kocourek, pastor

This morning we will continue in our mini-series on the Two Vines which we received from what brother Branham said in his sermon from The Unveiling of God where in paragraphs 99 through 102 brother Branham spoke to us how it is that some can see and recognize the Word for the age they live in while others it is hid from them. This then led us into a study on the Two Vines where for the past 3 months and 17 sermons, from March 3rd 2019, until last week June 2nd 2019, we've been studying the shared attributes that both the Two-Vines: (the True-Vine and the False-Vine), share in common because they both have the same mother so to speak as both were given birth at the same revival, thus from the same rain that falls on the just and the unjust.

We found during this study that the rain is likened by God Himself as the doctrine which comes down from God like rain. We found also that each revival that has come in each age has been a revival that came as a result of a doctrinal rain, ie: the doctrine of justification under Luther, and the doctrine of sanctification under Wesley, and the doctrine of Christ under William Branham.

And never forget what Paul taught to the first church age the seventh Messenger must teach to the seventh church age for the Alpha must become Omega. And the New Testament is replete with the teaching of the doctrine of Christ. Jesus taught it, Paul taught it, John Taught it, Peter taught it, James and Jude both taught it.

And John even was so bold as to say in 2 John 9-11 Whosoever transgresseth, (that means to go beyond the limits) and abideth (or remains) not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. (he not only does not possess God but he does not say what God says either.) He that abideth (remains) in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. (He not only possesses both Father and son, but He echoes both Father and son). 10  If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: 11  For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

Now, there is no such warning about the doctrine of Justification or sanctification, but that warning is given at the Alpha and so must it also apply in the Omega. or Jesus Christ is not the same yesterday, today and forever.

Therefore, to begin our study this morning let us open our Bibles and take our text from Matthew 24:24.

Matthew 24:24  For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Notice that these two spirits that are spoken of by our Lord Jesus will be so close that it (the closeness) would even deceive the very elect if it were possible. That is because the two spirits share so many of the same attributes and characteristics because they are given birth as Twins at the same revival. And it is this sameness that is so deceiving.

Never forget that it was the sameness between the Children of Judah and the children of Israel that caused Jehoshaphat to go to war with Ahab and almost lose his life over it.

Let's turn in our Bibles to 1 Kings 22 and begin reading from verse  1  And they continued three years without war between Syria and Israel. 2  And it came to pass in the third year, that Jehoshaphat the king of Judah came down to the king of Israel. 3  And the king of Israel said unto his servants, Know ye that Ramoth in Gilead is ours, and we be still, and take it not out of the hand of the king of Syria? 4  And he said unto Jehoshaphat, Wilt thou go with me to battle to Ramothgilead? And Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, I am as thou art, my people as thy people, my horses as thy horses.

And so he let down his guard because of their likeness. And what does that mean? They possessed so many of the same attributes and characteristics that he said they were both alike, their people were alike, and even their horses were alike.

(but something did not settle in Jehoshaphat's soul, and so he immediately says)  And Jehoshaphat said unto the king of Israel, Enquire, I pray thee, at the word of the LORD today. (well, they had a prophet in the land and so that is how you enquire at the Word of the Lord.)  Then the king of Israel gathered the prophets together, about four hundred men, and said unto them, Shall I go against Ramothgilead to battle, or shall I forbear? And they said, Go up; for the Lord shall deliver it into the hand of the king.  And Jehoshaphat said, Is there not here a prophet of the LORD besides, that we might enquire of him? 8  And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, There is yet one man, Micaiah the son of Imlah, by whom we may enquire of the LORD: but I hate him; for he doth not prophesy good concerning me, but evil. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so.

19  And he (Micaiah, who was not the prophet of the hour which was Elijah, but Micaiah was only a prophet (compared to day with what we would call a five-fold prophet) who submitted his own ministry to the prophet Elijah's ministry, and he) said, Hear thou therefore the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left. 20  And the LORD said, Who shall persuade Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? And one said on this manner, and another said on that manner.  21  And there came forth a spirit, and stood before the LORD, and said, I will persuade him. 22  And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so. 23  Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil concerning thee. 24  But Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah went near, and smote Micaiah on the cheek, and said, Which way went the Spirit of the LORD from me to speak unto thee? 25  And Micaiah said, Behold, thou shalt see in that day, when thou shalt go into an inner chamber to hide thyself

So you see this minor prophet, or five-fold prophet stood with what God had spoken through the lips of the Word prophet for that hour which was Elijah, who had already spoken the doom of Ahab, as God spoke to him in 1 Kings 21:17  And the word of the LORD came to Elijah the Tishbite, saying, 18  Arise, go down to meet Ahab king of Israel, which is in Samaria: behold, he is in the vineyard of Naboth, whither he is gone down to possess it.

19  And thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith the LORD, Hast thou killed, and also taken possession? And thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith the LORD, In the place where dogs licked the blood of Naboth shall dogs lick thy blood, even thine

Now, let me just read the story for you, because you will see this is the way of the wicked people, they lie and make up false reports to gain what they could not gain rightfully.

Naboth’s Vineyard

1 Some time later, there was an incident involving a vineyard belonging to Naboth the Jezreelite. Naboth was a Jezreelite who happened to own a vineyard in Jezreel next to the palace of Ahab king of Samaria. 2 So Ahab said to Naboth, “Give me your vineyard to use as a vegetable garden, since it is next to my palace. I will give you a better vineyard in its place—or if you prefer, I will give you its value in silver.” 3 But Naboth replied, “The LORD forbid that I should give you the inheritance of my fathers.” 4 So Ahab went to his palace, sullen and angry because Naboth the Jezreelite had told him, “I will not give you the inheritance of my fathers.” He lay down on his bed, turned his face away, and refused to eat.5 Soon his wife Jezebel came in and asked, “Why are you so sullen that you refuse to eat?” 6 Ahab answered, “Because I spoke to Naboth the Jezreelite and told him, ‘Give me your vineyard for silver, or if you wish, I will give you another vineyard in its place.’ And he said, ‘I will not give you my vineyard!’” 7 But his wife Jezebel said to him, “Do you not reign over Israel? Get up, eat some food, and be cheerful, for I will get you the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite.”

Jezebel’s Plot

8 Then Jezebel wrote letters in Ahab’s name, sealed them with his seal, and sent them to the elders and nobles who lived with Naboth in his city.9 In the letters she wrote: “Proclaim a fast and give Naboth a seat of honor among the people. 10 But seat two scoundrels opposite him and have them testify, ‘You have cursed both God and the king!’ Then take him out and stone him to death.” 11 So the elders and nobles who lived in Naboth’s city did as Jezebel had instructed in the letters she had written to them. 12 They proclaimed a fast and gave Naboth a seat of honor among the people.

13 And the two scoundrels came in and sat opposite Naboth, and these men testified against him before the people, saying, “Naboth has cursed God and the king!” So they took him outside the city and stoned him to death. 14 Then they sent word to Jezebel: “Naboth has been stoned to death.” 15 When Jezebel heard that Naboth had been stoned to death, she said to Ahab, “Get up and take possession of the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite, who refused to give it to you for silver. For Naboth is no longer alive, but dead.” 16 And when Ahab heard that Naboth was dead, he got up and went down to take possession of the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite.

Elijah Denounces Ahab and Jezebel

17 Then the word of the LORD came to Elijah the Tishbite, saying, 18“Get up and go down to meet Ahab king of Israel, who is in Samaria. See, he is in the vineyard of Naboth, of which he has gone to take possession. 19 Tell him that this is what the LORD says: ‘Have you not murdered a man and seized his land?’ Then tell him that this is also what the LORD says: ‘In the place where the dogs licked up the blood of Naboth, there also the dogs will lick up your blood—yes, yours!’” 20 When Elijah arrived, Ahab said to him, “So you have found me out, my enemy.” He replied, “I have found you out because you have sold yourself to do evil in the sight of the LORD. 21This is what the LORD says: ‘I will bring calamity on you and consume your descendants; I will cut off from Ahab every male in Israel, both slave and free. 22 I will make your house like that of Jeroboam son of Nebat and like that of Baasha son of Ahijah, because you have provoked My anger and caused Israel to sin.’ 23 And the LORD also speaks concerning Jezebel: ‘The dogs will devour Jezebel by the wall of Jezreel.24 He who belongs to Ahab and dies in the city will be eaten by dogs, and he who dies in the field will be eaten by the birds of the air.”

Now, you know that the wicked Pharisees did the same thing to Jesus with false witnesses, so that he could be tried and killed. And not that we wish to talk politics here, but to show you that nothing is new under the sun, we see in the natural today how that a  Russia collusion lie was made up to condemn our President and this was after the same template as Jezebel had used back in Elijah's day, and of course we see the modern day Jezebel, which is Hillary Clinton and how she paid for a dossier and had a story made up that the information was obtained from Russian spies, but as it turned, it was only a lie and no truth in it at all. Just like the lies against Naboth. But the lies were designed to do away with the president in the same way as Jezebel of old did away with Naboth. And this was in order to gain what was not hers to begin with. In that case jezebel plotted to steal the vineyard of Naboth and in this hour the modern day Jezebel tried to steal an election.

Therefore, I want you to notice that the very same methods, the very same playbook that Jezebel used to gain the Vineyard of Naboth and have him put out of the way in order to do so, the same lies told against Naboth have been told against Donald Trump so they could take away the office He won by the legitimate vote of the American people.

And as Naboth was assassinated so too the 45th President has been politically assassinated daily for the past two years.

I gave you this example so that you can see that Satan uses the same playbook and never deviates from it. And why should he when it works so well.

Now, in getting back to our study of the Two-Vines, we see where brother Branham said in his sermon We would see Jesus 61-0208 P:17 Oh, people are very religious: always been. As I preached the other night over there, a revival always produces twins, like Esau and Jacob: a man of the world, and the man that desires the birthright. See? It always... Every revival produces that. This latter day revival has done the same thing. It's true. So let's get on the Jacob side, the one that's going to inherit, the one that's going into the promised land. And we cannot be satisfied just with going to church and putting our name on the book. If we do, there's something wrong. Let's keep climbing higher and higher, till we reach that promised land.

And from his sermon Ephesian church age 60-1205 P:56 Now, as I said to begin, 'fore we start off on this again, every revival produces a pair of twins. One is a spiritual man; the other one is a natural man of the earth, "I joined the church; I'm just as good as anybody." And that's what this revival produced. That's what, every revival. That's what Luther's produced; that's what Irenaeus' produced; that's what Saint Martin's produced; that's what Columba's produced; that's what Wesley's produced; and that's what Pentecost produced. Just exactly. You see how they've gone to seed, built their churches, and went on off, and big fine places, and (my, goodness) stand up and repeat the Apostles' Creed, "I believe in the Holy Roman Catholic church, and the communion of saints." Anybody that believes in the communion of saints is a spiritualist. Anything communes with the dead is of the Devil. That's exactly right. We have one Mediator between God and man, that's the Man Jesus Christ. That's right. That's what Peter said.

So all these people around the world who baptize in the name of William Branham, and pray in the name of William Branham show what they are. That's right, and I won't pull any punches here, either. It's of the devil. Brother Branham even went through a nervous breakdown over this same sort of stuff and brother Vayle was led by the Holy Spirit to go visit him during that time, not knowing what was going on. You all know the story. and brother Branham laid in that bed for days, and he said to brother Vayle with swollen eyes shut from tears, "I've failed God, Lee, I've failed God," and brother Vayle told him, "No you didn't fail God brother Bill, in fact if this sort of stuff didn't happen I would have to wonder what's going on, because it's supposed to go this way." And as Winston Churchill once said, "People who do not understand history are doomed to repeat it." And People void of the Holy Spirit will always get it wrong and end up trying to worship the Messenger instead of the One who sent him.

Now, notice that the Apostle Paul said in Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

So what is the name of the Lord?

In Matthew 1:21 "And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins."

And Jesus himself said that he came in His Father's name, just as William Branham said he was a Branham because he his father was a Branham. So he came into this world in his father's name. So don't get these names mixed up. But William Branham never came in the name of his father Branham to do the work of God, he came in the name of our Father God, whose name is Jesus to do the works of God. Then why some would want to pray in the name of Branham or baptize in the name of Branham shows they just have no Spirit of God in them, and thus no understanding.

In John 5:43 Jesus said, "I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive."

So God placed His own name in His son, Jesus. And that name is the only name wherein we may be saved.

Acts 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Acts 4:10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. 11  This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

And Jesus said the following about that name.

John 16:26 At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you:

John 16:23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.

John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

John 14:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

Therefore we also know that any man who teaches contrary to what Paul taught is cursed, so I don't care how sincere they are, they are cursed with a curse.

Therefore, it is the shared attributes that Both True-Vine and False-Vine possess because they were born at the same revival making them twins, and it is this twin-like nature, these shared attributes that are very deceiving to everyone except that the True-Vine, Who are the Very Elect of God and cannot be deceived, because they also have attributes that are not shared with the False-Vine.

Let me say again, it is the shared attributes that bring on the deception that Jesus spoke of in Matthew 24:24 where the two spirits would be so close it would deceive the very elect if it were possible, but we know it is not possible.

Therefore, as we approach this second half of our study on the Two-Vines we are going to show you the attributes which are not-shared by both Vines, and it is these non-shared attributes and characteristics which actually declares the difference in the two spirit, and the two natures of the two vines.

Only the Elect, the True-Vine cannot be deceived because she is aware of other attributes that she possesses from her Father (God) which are very different from her Twin.

Therefore, this morning we will be switching gears from studying the shared-attributes and characteristics of the Two-Vines, to beginning an examination of the non-shared attributes and characteristics of the Two-Vines.

I would like to begin this morning by showing you the contrast between the Two-Vines. and we will find that these attributes and characteristics are a reflection of their Father, not their mother. IT is the mothers attributes and characteristics they share, but since each has a different father therefore their attributes from their fathers will be very much different.

Jesus said in John 8:23  And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. 24  I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. 25  Then said they unto him, Who art thou? And Jesus saith unto them, Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning. 26  I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him. 27  They understood not that he spake to them of the Father. 28  Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things. 29  And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him. 30  As he spake these words, many believed on him. 31  Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; 32  And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. 33  They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free? 34  Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. 35  And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. 36  If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. 37  I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you. 38  I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father. 39  They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham. (if Abraham were your Father, you would act like him and believe like Him, and when God came to him veiled in Flesh, he received him as God.) 40  But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham. 41  Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; (they knew what he was talking about and they were sating, we are not serpent seed.) we have one Father, even God. 42  Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. 43  Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear (you cannot understand) my word. 44  Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.  45  And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. 46  Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?47  He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

So we see Jesus in a confrontational dialogue with the self righteous Pharisees, and during this disputation he speaks of the Two Vines, Twins as we call it, and shows there are two sources of Life, for each has a different Father. And they nature of that father you will do, and since the Two-Fathers are so divergent therefore the nature of the Two Fathers will be as divergent and different. And He makes this point very clear. He spells out why they are of their father the devil, and point to attributes and characteristics that make what he says very plain to understand.

So what we will examine this morning is what Jesus is explaining in this dialogue, how the

True-Vine love the True Word of God, the Revealed  and Vindicated Word for their season, and that is because they are born of the Word.

1 Peter 1:22 tells us "Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love (non pretentious Love) of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:23  Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

Again we see evidence of Two-Vines here, one who is born of an incorruptible Seed which is the Word of God, and the other which is born of a corruptible seed, which is a Gospel as Paul said in Galatians 1:6-9 which has been perverted. And these two Gospels will produce two different lives altogether. and each life will reflect the very nature of the seed, for every seed will bring forth after its kind. That is Genesis 1:11 the law of life.

Notice what Jesus told the Pharisees, and I will just make a list of the different things he said and then we will go from there.

1) 37  I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.  So you see, he said if you were God's Children you would love the Word, and have a place for the Word in your heart, but because you are not God's children you have no place for the Word. Now, that is very important and we will go into that more thoroughly in another sermon.

2) Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham. Notice he said this because according to Genesis 1:11 the law of Life tells us that  "every seed must bring forth after its kind". And therefore he says if you are truly Abraham's seed you will not be able to help doing what Abraham did. And if you are God's child, you cannot prevent yourself from doing the works of Christ which is John 14:12 and we have proved that over and over that if you are a true believer it is because you are filled with the Spirit of God. And therefore if you are filled with the Spirit of God then you will have the same nature as God and therefore you will do as He does. And since God is a Supernatural God, then His Children are also supernatural children. They are not limited to what this earth has to offer but they see what others do not see, for Faith is the evidence of seeing things that others do not see.

3) 40  But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham. 41  Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; 41  Ye do the deeds of your father.

Notice here Jesus says "you wish to kill me", you have a murderous spirit on you and this is not from God.

And we read in Luke 9:51  And it came to pass, when the time was come that he should be received up, he stedfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem, 52  And sent messengers before his face: and they went, and entered into a village of the Samaritans, to make ready for him. 53  And they did not receive him, because his face was as though he would go to Jerusalem. 54  And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did? 55  But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. 56  For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village. Notice this attribute he had, that when others rejected him, he didn't want to get even, He said on the cross, "Father forgive them for they know not what they do." This didn't make Jesus weak because he forgave, no sir, because it take a bigger man to forgive those who have killed their influence than it takes to get even.

That old expression, "Dog bite me once shame on dog, dog bite me twice shame on me," Now, I know some of us have said that but that is not scriptural and God's Son never showed that kind of nature. That was never said by God's vindicated prophet, either. So we need to make some changes in our attitudes, because it is our attitude that could mar our own testimony and one day keep you out of the Kingdom.

In fact brother Branham said in his sermon Super sense 59-1227E P:20 "And after making my own consecration, and after making, having the church to do so, now, if God blessed us the way He has in the last few meetings with that little consecration, what will He do if we keep it up. See? Just keep it up. Now, listen. You're in love with one another; how I see you standing in the aisles, this morning, and just weep, with your hands to God, and the lovely Spirit moving around over you. Now, don't you listen to one foul thing the devil's got to say. See? If the devil shows you some, or tells you something evil about one of the members of the body of Christ, don't you believe it. For as soon as you believe it, you mar your experience.

Before I read this next quote, let me ask for a show of hands. How many of you have been a Christian and a believer in this message for more than twenty years? How many have been  a Christian and believer in this message for more than 25 years? For more than 30 years? For more than 35 years? For more than 40 years? For more than 45 years? For more than 50 years? Ok, now I think you are ready to receive this next quote.

So we hear him say in his sermon Enticing spirits 55-0724 P:75 No matter how long you've been a Christian, do you still got those little old spirits that talk to you, makes you fly loose, makes you talk about somebody? When somebody comes up and goes to speaking about somebody else, you join right in with them and oh, just run them down? That's wrong, brother; don't do that. That'll finally keep you out of the promised land. If you just got that little old things that you oughtn't to have, if the love of God really isn't in your heart, won't you be lady and men, walk up and say, "God, right here I'm going to dump it out this morning, right here. I'm going away from this altar a different person." Would you come?

4) 42  Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.

Notice, He said, "If God were your Father, you would Love me", and so we see than the evidence that you are seed of God, is that you cannot help but to Love His Son, and to Love His Word. Jesus said, not only am I His son, and not only did He send me, but He that sent me, is here with me. His Presence is with me. So not only will seed of God Love the Son of God and everything about him, but they will love the very Presence of the Father as well. As David said in Psalms 16:8 I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. 9  Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.  10  For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. 11  Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

So the True Christian, those with the Holy Ghost are at rest and at peace and get their greatest pleasure from the presence of God. And if you do not, you have need of another filling my brother and sister.

We read in Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, (Change your thinking therefore) and be converted, (be changed) that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; and if you are not living in His Presence it is no wonder you are not be refreshed by His Spirit daily. So what is the solution, drop what is so important to your and get in his presence. The Apostle Paul said in1 Thessalonians 5:7  "Pray without ceasing."

And God's vindicated prophet said to us in his sermon

Why so hard to live Christian life 57-0303A P:2 There's something about the Gospel, and the Word of God, that we just simply can't seem to get enough of It. I believe you could... You might eat too much sometimes, and you might drink enough good cold water to make you sick, but I don't believe that a man could ever pray too much, or get too much of the love of God in his heart. That's just one thing that just doesn't seem to ever get enough, fill up. And I'm taught that when we eat, If we are use to eating small portions, our stomach shrinks to that portion. And if we eat much, our stomach stretches to that. And I think we need some spiritual stretching, and get much of the Word. Can't be satisfied with just reading a little verse once in awhile, or something of that manner, but stretching our spiritual gastronomics...

Faith 56-0427 P:5 Prayer changes things. Prayer changes death to life. Prayer changes sickness to health, changes sinners to saints. It's prayer. You may laugh too much. You may shout too much. You may eat too much, but you'll never pray too much. The Bible said, "I would that man pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands." So you'll never be able to pray too much.

To whom is arm of Lord revealed? 50-0824 P:25 Friends, you may laugh too much: you may talk too much; you may walk too much; but you'll never pray too much. "I would that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands without..."

He that is in you 63-1110E P:42 It's been for some time, for a few years, I have had a deep burden on my chest that in my heart. It felt to me as if I had done something wrong. And I searched my life over and over and over to see what was wrong: "Lord, if I've done anything wrong, then You just reveal it to me what's wrong, and I'll go and make it right." But nothing would be revealed to me. I'd say, "Did I hurt somebody? Did I leave something undone? Do I read enough? Do I pray enough?" And I'd read and pray and I'd think, "Reveal it to me. Did I harm somebody somewhere? If I did, I'll make it right. Just show me; I don't want this burden." And for the last five years since I come off the field, there's been a burden hanging in my heart.

Meanest man I know 62-0127 P:80 Some of you haven't loved Him like you should. Some of you are real honorable Christians, and you haven't loved Him like you ought to. And you know you're guilty. You don't pray enough. I'm going to put up my hand now. I don't pray enough. I'm ashamed of myself. I'm ashamed of my life. I asked Him to come to this meeting, and I'm ashamed of my life before Him. I'm with you. I'm ashamed of my life before Jesus. Bless His heart. He came from heaven this morning to visit us, came to us to talk to us, to speak to us. He's speaking to us right now, that little still small Voice down in our heart. There might not be rushing mighty winds. We've had so much of that. Let's veil our face this morning with shame. I'm ashamed to be Pentecostal with the life that I live. I'm ashamed I have no more power in His Presence. I'm ashamed that I'm no more of an example of a Christian before my people. Jesus, have mercy on me. God, I'm not without fault. I need correcting too, and Your Holy Spirit's speaking to me.

Indictment the 63-0707M P:104 Now, what did they do? They didn't know it. Today men walk ignorantly; they don't know that's the Truth. They think it's some kind of a ism. They don't dig down deep enough to get into the spirit of revelation. They don't pray enough; they don't call upon God enough. They just lightly take it, "Oh, well, I believe it's God. Sure." The devil believes the same thing. The devil believes it more than some people claim to believe; the devil believes it and trembles. People just believe it and go on, but the devil trembles, knowing his judgment is coming. And people believe it and don't pay no attention that judgment that's coming. Guilty of crucifying Him. Sure. I indict this generation, finding them guilty by the same Word that found them guilty at the beginning. That's right. Jesus said, "Who can condemn Me?" He was the Word made flesh. And today the same Word's made flesh.

5) Jesus said in verse 43  Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear (you cannot understand) my word. So we see one attribute of being born of God is you will be able to understand God's Word, and the fact that a person cannot understand the Word declares He is not born of God. It's just that simple. And God interprets His Word by bringing it to pass. Just look around my brothers and sisters, and you will see what I'm talking about.

Did not Paul teach us in 1 Corinthians 2 "no man knoweth the things of God except the spirit of God be in Him." And we see here in John 8:43 that these men could not hear and understand the Word of God because they were not of God, God was not their father.

6) 44  Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Now, notice how Jesus speaks very definitive concerning these attributes here. He says a person will definitely do the works of their father, and then he begins to describe who their father is by showing what they do and that what they do is the same as the one who is the father of those attributes.

Let's just break these down one by one. He says Ye are of your father the devil

And therefore, 7) the lusts of your father ye will do. So what do you lust after? What are the desires of your heart? For you must ask yourself, "what do I want most out of Life?" what am I working for? What am I doing in my spare time? Could I invite the Son of God to join me in my spare time? When I am talking to my wife, or you sisters, when you are talking to your husbands, are you speaking to them as a child of God? Remember, Jesus said, "Whatsoever you have done unto the least of these my brethren you have done unto me."

On that day can you say, I have been sweet to my husband and when I think he is wrong, I have prayed for him? Or do you think because you are married to him it gives you a license to mock him and use cruel words against him? You may think he deserves it, but that will put you out of the rapture, I hope you are aware of that.

If your desire is for "the cares of the world or the things of the world then the love of God is not even in your heart." So what's on your mind, what's in your heart? Do you think about the next car, the next boat, the house? Or the next gadget for your kitchen or your office? If so you are not in His Presence and you are not aware of it. And that is a dangerous condition to be in, especially at this late hour.

8) Jesus said of their father,   "He was a murderer from the beginning," Therefore, I ask you this one question. Do you have a murderous spirit as well. You know brother Branham said in his sermon Hebrews 7 part 2 57-0922 P:55 And you people with these saw-blade tempers, that's always spouting off in the mouth at somebody, can't put up, and things like that. Be careful. You're guilty if you speak a word against your brother that's not right, not just. Go around and tear down... You don't have to stick a knife in a man's back to kill him; you can break his character and kill him, kill his influence. Speak against your pastor here, say something bad about him, you just might as well have shot him; told something that wasn't right about him, well, it'll kill his influence with the people and things like that, and you're guilty of it. What Jesus said.

And the same applies for you sisters against your husbands, and you husbands against your wife. Speak a word against them to someone else and you might as well put a knife in their back. Stop it, and get yourself ready for the rapture. because we are not getting ready when we fuss and stew with each other.

9) and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. Now, remember, he said "my Words are Spirit and they are truth". So he is talking here about the Word of God. And He said they are not of God because they do not abide, remain in, they are not at home with the Word of God.

10) When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.  so naturally if you speak what your father spoke, then if he was the father of lies, that is what you will do.

So here we see that in this short dialogue between Jesus and the Self Righteous Pharisees that Jesus has given us 10 attributes alone to examine where we are at in our own lives.

Oh my, I think this is going to be a long and helpful pastoral study before we exhaust this part two concerning the Two-Vines and the attributes and characteristics which define who the father is.

In closing brother Branham said in his sermon, Seed not heir with shuck 65-0218 P:15 Now, just before we approach the Word, we want to approach the Author of the Word again. You might eat too much; you might drink too much; you might laugh too much; you might walk too much; but you'll never pray too much. "I would that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands without doubt or wrath." And then he concludes by saying Let us pray.

And I would like also to conclude our message this morning by saying the same. So let us bow our heads in prayer.
