Unveiling
of God no 28
Too
Blind to see

Ephesians
4:17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth
walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,18 Having
the understanding darkened,
being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them,
because of the blindness of their
heart:19 Who
being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all
uncleanness with greediness. 20 But ye
have not so learned Christ;
57 Before,
if any man walked in behind that veil, it was sudden death. Amen. Oh, we're
going to get a lesson here in a minute (See?), if you can receive It. To walk behind them skins, even one of the priest's sons
tried to do it one time and died. Don't go behind that veil. The
man that walked behind... Why? There's
no redemption yet in that. It was potentially; it was just potential; and anything potential's not the real thing yet
(See?), just potentially. It was redemption. Sin was covered, not remitted, not
remitted. "Remitted" is "divorced and put away." And so the
blood of sheep and goats could not do that, so Jehovah was hid behind a veil. Now, back behind this veil where He was hid, to enter into that, a man dropped dead
to try to enter there into it.
58 But
since Pentecost, since the crucifixion, when that veil was rent from the top to
the bottom, for that generation... Jesus was that God, veiled.
And when He died at Calvary, God sent
fire and lightning and ripped that veil from top to the bottom, that the whole
mercy seat was in plain view. But they were too blind to see it.
As Moses said here, Paul said, reading of Moses, "When Moses is read yet, that veil is still on their
heart."
And
remember that word heart means understanding. The veil was still over their
understanding. In other words, what they saw was through the veil or their old
understanding, and not what was actually there. Then he says,) Oh, brother,
sister, that's what the Jews did when the veil was rent and
brought God into plain view, hanging on the cross. He was in plain view, but they couldn't see It.
They were to blinded by their own
traditions and creeds to what God was actually doing. The veil blinded them.
They were so focused on the veil they never saw it was God who was using that
veil.
In Isaiah 29:6 we read, "Thou
shalt be visited of the LORD of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great
noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire.7 And the multitude of
all the nations that fight against Ariel, even
all that fight against her and her munition, and that distress her, shall be as a dream of a night
vision. 8 It shall even be as
when an hungry man dreams, and, behold, in his
dream he eats; but when he awakens
his soul is empty: or as when a thirsty man dreams and behold, in the dream he
drinks; but when he awakens he is faint,
and his soul still is hungry:
so shall the multitude of all the nations be, that fight against mount Zion.
Now, Mount Zion represents the Rapturing
process of the Bride. The Mount Zion showdown between God's Elect and all those
who oppose her. So this speaks of those who come against the Bride of Christ
and the process she is going through in her rapturing experience. Her Mount Zion
showdown.
In fact, Br. Branham tells us that Mount Zion
speaks of the third Rapture, the rapture of the Bride.
Let me read a few quotes to prove this
to you. From his sermon Future home 64-0802 P:177 brother Branham tells u
what the word daughter of Zion refers to the bride and Mount Zion refers to the
rapture of the bride, which is the last showdown. "Listen, let's just
read it. Look here. (Isaiah 4:1)
And in that day
seven women shall take ahold of one man saying, We'll eat our own bread,...
wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our
reproach... (That's the end time where
we're living now: marriage, divorce, and prostitution, and
whatevermore.) In that day shall the branch of
the LORD be beautiful and glorious,... the fruit of the earth shall be excellent
and comely... them that... escaped of Israel...
(How that you escaped all that damnation. See?) And
it shall came to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that's a remnant in
Jerusalem, shall... (Let's see.)... in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that
is written among the living in Jerusalem:
(See?)Wherein the Lord shall have washed away
the filth of the daughter of Zion,... (Remember that's always the Bride. See?)... and shall have purified the blood of Jerusalem... (That's the remnant of the Jews plus the Bride.
See?)... and in the midst thereof with the
spirit of judgment,... (Fire, that's always
God's judgment. When He makes His final judgment, calls you, justifies you, and
brings you to redemption, then His judgment breaks forth upon you, and the Holy
Ghost and Fire cleanses away the sin. Then you're His. Same thing He does to
the earth when He purges it with fire.)... and
by the spirit of burning. (Now look listen, are
you ready?) And the LORD will create upon every
dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assembly, a cloud of smoke by day,
and a shining of... fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence.
Then from his
sermon Spoken word original seed 62-0318E P: he tells us that Mount Zion refers to the
Rapture of the Bride. P:186 Then in the latter
rain there will come forth a Mount Carmel, a showdown:
Bible fulfilled to the letter. John the Baptist, His messenger before His face
in Malachi 3, planted a former rain and was rejected by the churches,
the denominations, the Pharisees and Sadducees in his day. Jesus came and had
the Mount Transfiguration showdown.
This forerunner of the last days will sow for the former rain. Jesus will be
the showdown between denominations and creeds (which is His Word). When He
comes, the showdown, the rapture of His Bride... The first was Mount Carmel; the second was Mount Transfiguration; the third will be Mount Zion. Glory.
Then later in PP. 192 he says, "He will be correctly dedicated to the Word as they have
always been; indicated by God's Word,
and a-vindicated. God will vindicate what he preaches to be the Truth as
He did Elijah; for it is Elijah coming, making ready for the Mount Zion rapture.
Jesus said in the last days it would be like Lot's time. His preaching will be
with the Spirit and straight line of God's Word. Because so much has been
called God's Truth, many will misunderstand this true messenger. (I've
got wrote here p-r-o-p-h-e-c-y, prophecy.) Because so much
has been called God's Truth by fakers, many true ministers will misunderstand
that messenger.
Now, maybe I should take a sermon on that some day. He said, "Because so
much has been called God's Truth by fakers, many true ministers will misunderstand that messenger
I am thoroughly convinced that many who claim to follow the Messenger have
no clue what that Messenger's Message is. He said many of the ministers will
miss it and not understand the Messenger and remember you can't live any higher
than your pastor, and so if your pastor doesn't have a clue how do you expect
the people who set under him to have a clue. They focus on the veil itself without seeing the God who is
hid behind that veil. And therefore the veil becomes to them something that
prevents them from Seeing God. Because
they are focused on the veil and not on the God who uses the veil.
So in getting back to Isaiah 29
where we read concerning those who fight against Mount Zion, or those in the Bride
who are destined for the Mount Zion showdown
which is the Mount Zion Rapture,
he says, 9 "Stay yourselves, and wonder; cry ye
out, and cry: they are drunken, but not with
wine; they stagger, but not
with strong drink.
So we see their condition. They are
drunkenness and staggering yet it is not from wine or the stimulation of
revelation. It is from a spirit of slumber, a blindness and the shadow of death that is upon them.
10 For the
LORD hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep,
and hath closed your eyes: the prophets and
your rulers, the seers hath he
covered.
Notice the seers hath
he covered. And who are the seers, those are the prophets,
those who see. which are the prophets, and God closes the people to them that
see. He hides His Message through the seer from these people.
Therefore, they are purposely blinded to
the Message by God because they are not ordained to receive it.
11 And the
vision of all is become
unto you as the words
of a book that is sealed, which men
deliver to one that is learned,
saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed:
Notice the condition of these people. He
said it would be like a person who is dreaming that he is eating and drinking,
only to wake up hungry and thirsty because it's all a delusion to them. What
they are eating is actually a delusion. What they think they are drinking is
actually a delusion. It is not real. And so many people think they are drinking
from the fountain of Divine revelation and it is only a dream. And so they
still hunger and thirst and cannot get satisfaction. They are not getting fed.
I was talking to a lovely brother who
told me he had been attending a mega church in this message and the services
were like attending a high school pep rally, where the people on stage would
pump the people up to get them all excited and then poof, nothing.
He said I honestly tried to go expecting
to get fed, but there was nothing for my soul. Why? Because it is like a night
vision, a dream, the people think they are getting fed but have no clue what is
being said because they are focused on the man, the veil and not the God who
used the veil. And so they go to the elders in the church to get an answer and
they say, sorry you won't get an answer from me, the Message is sealed. We
don't know what the answer is.
12 And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this,
I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned.
And so you go to another church and ask
the same questions and they say, I don't know, I don't understand that myself.
13 Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me
with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me,
but have removed their
heart (their
understanding) far from me, and their
fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:
So the precepts of men have taught a
wrong kind of fear. They've taught a fear of man instead of a proper fear of
God in which the Bible says, the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
But they don't want the spirit of Wisdom and Revelation in the Knowledge of
Him, they only want to the veil to look upon.)
Yet we see in Isaiah 50 a different sort of shepherd,
a different sort of ministry. To this one The Lord says, "4 The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I
should know how to speak a word in season to him that is
weary: (Why? Because ) He wakens me morning by morning, he wakens mine
ear to hear as one that is learned. 5 The Lord GOD hath opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious,
neither turned away back from what he had to say. 6 I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to
them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting. 7 For the
Lord GOD will help me; therefore
shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint,
and I know that I shall not be ashamed. 8 He is near that vindicates
me; who will contend with me? let us stand together: who is mine adversary? let him come near to me. 9 Behold, the
Lord GOD will help me; who is he that shall condemn me? lo, they all shall wax old as a
garment; the moth shall eat them up. 10 Who is among you that feareth the
LORD, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his God. 11 Behold, all those
others that kindle their own fire, that compass themselves
about with sparks: walk in the light of your own fire, and in the sparks that ye yourself have kindled. This shall ye have of
mine hand; ye shall lie down in sorrow.
In other words, God has ordained some to
waken every morning listening to the Word of God who will walk in the light as
God is in the light, who will be led by the Spirit and able to learn, but
others will not walk in the Light as God is in the Light, and so they will walk
in their own light, their own fires that they've created. And won't even bother
to walk in the Light of the Presence of God. So they do not follow God but the
god of their own imagination. The Message of their own imagination.
God continues in Isaiah 50:14 Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a
marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous
work and a wonder: for the wisdom of
their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid. 15 Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the LORD,
and their works are in the dark,
and they say, Who seeth us? and who knoweth us? 16 Surely your turning of
things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter's clay:
Now
when you use the colloquialism "turn of things upside down" means
that they are taking things just the opposite of what is really there. We say,
"you are twisting it, or you are putting your spin on it. And
that is what God is saying here. You turn it upside
down, making it just the opposite of what it actually is.
"for shall the
work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of
him that framed it, He had no
understanding? He didn't know
what he is doing?
You know, when God promised us that "all things shall work together for the good of them who love
him and are the called according to his purpose." And when people doubt God's Word, His
promise, they go to frustration and despair and in doing so they are actually
saying, "God can't do what he promised to do.". And to me that is
just pathetic.
Don't you know that all sons must first
be tried and tested? But when you don't think God who promised can't deliver on
His promise, you are making the Word of God, the promise of God of nun effect
by your own unbelief. And right there
you are showing God you are an unbeliever, and not a believer. And what you are
doing is proving you are an unbeliever, and by saying God can't do what He
promised to do you are calling God a liar.
And then God says to Isaiah 29:
17 Is it not yet a very little while, and Lebanon shall be turned into a fruitful field, and the fruitful field shall be esteemed as
a forest?18 And in that day shall the
deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity, and out of darkness.
Now,
I look at that promise of God and say that is for me. I live in Lebanon.
Perhaps not right in the city but just outside of it. That is the city of my
Postal code. That is the city that delivers my mail. That is the city where my
phone number comes from. And you know, I have read this promise of God for more
than 30 years and every time I have read it, I think it is no surprise to me that
this little church is located right outside of Lebanon and our mailing address
is located right here in Lebanon, and my phone number is a Lebanon phone number.
And he promised that out of Lebanon
the words of the book would be heard by the those who had been deaf, and the
eyes of those who had been blind would begin to see out from obscurity and out
from the darkness they had been in.
And
I have hundreds of letters and emails from all over the world showing me the
fulfillment of that Scripture because men from all over the world have written
to me and told me they were once blind to what the message is and now they see.
Hundreds and thousands from all over the world. I have thousands of emails
testifying how God has opened the eyes of believers all over the world. So I
know the fulfillment of that Scripture. I saw it, I claimed it and God brought
it to pass.
Now, you may
say, "oh come on preacher, you're taking
this scripture and claiming it for yourself?" And my answer is "yes I
am and why not", it fits doesn't it. And we are told by a
vindicated prophet to claim every promise in the Bible as ours. And that is
what I've done. And we all know that scriptures has compound meaning, so it may
also mean something for someone else, but for me, I read it for myself and this
church, and I claimed it, and God has brought it to pass.
And brother Branham
told us how to know whether something is from God or not. He said "first God must reveal it to your heart, then he must
reveal it in the Word, then the thing must come to pass, then you know whether
it was of God or not".
Now, others
might see these promises in the Bible and are afraid to step into the promise,
But "I know what I heard, and I recognized what I heard, and I acted upon
the Word of God".
Just like Moses
had to step into the Red Sea before the water could open, and Elijah had to walk
into the Jordan River before the River would open. And you must recognize the
promise for you in this word and then step into it before God will make it come
to pass. And then when it comes to pass that is the interpretation of the Word
of God.
17 Is it not yet a very little
while, and Lebanon shall be turned into a fruitful field, and the fruitful
field shall be esteemed as a forest?18 And
in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the
book, and the eyes of the blind shall see
out of obscurity, and out of darkness.
You
see, a believer believes. And he must step into what he believes before God
will confirm his belief. Therefore he must have child like faith. and that is
all I claim to have is child like faith. I happen to believe God's Word the way
he wrote it. And I find when the opportunity arises, and I see that opportunity
in His Word, I step into it right then and claim it, then it becomes mine. And
so must you.
Don't think you
are going to get out of here without being tested. All sons are to be tried and
tested. And the thing of it is, you shouldn't worry about the test, because he
has also said he would not test us above that which we could take. So our
victory is in Christ, therefore just get in Christ and all
things are possible to them that believe.
The Apostle
Paul said, Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which
strengtheneth me.
and the
Apostle John said, 1 John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh
the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
And Paul again
said, 1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord
Jesus Christ.
Now, in getting
back to brother Branham's sermon we pick up at paragraph 59 Could it be possible that the
Gentiles has hit the same thing? (Oh, God.) When they've had the
church ages of the Son of God, but when now the veil of this denominations and
things, this veil of tradition that we've got since Pentecost, when the church
traditions has been rent, the things that the people said, "Days of
miracles is past," and these things, and God has took the veil off of it and brought It in plain view,
and they're ready to crucify It again. Just
exactly right.
And
let's face it, we know that they could
not crucify God because he is Spirit, so they took the veil that God hid himself in and crucified it in the alpha. And they've done that same thing in this hour
as well. They've taken the veil God used in this hour, William Branham and
crucified it as well. And that crucifixion came via character assassination. And
they are still doing it to sons of God in this hour.
For the past 20
years as I have gone overseas to echo this great revelation of Jesus Christ and
the relationship God had with His first born son, and now with sons, and God
confirmed that same echo of His Message with signs and wonders and His own
personal presence in the form or three horizontal rainbows just exactly as he confirmed
His Message through William Branham with three horizontal rainbows, and the
brothers who've received that revelation and have stepped into it have all gone
through the same crucifixion and character assassination as did our prophet,
showing they have become Isaiah 53. Men of sorrows and acquainted with
grief. Despised and rejected, yet within their bosom is the same God life and
the same mercy seat that was in Christ Jesus as he died upon the cross.
The second
crucifixion doesn't have to be a literal cross we are nailed to, because
brother Branham said "you can kill a man without using a knife or bullets, you
can speak against him to kill his influence and you might as well shot him with
a bullet." Why? Because
they are blind to the revelation of Jesus Christ. They are blind to the
relationship between God and His sons.
in the next
paragraph brother Branham says, 60 The
unveiled God, plain view, they should've seen Him standing there. Yet He was too common; He was an ordinary
Man. They couldn't see It.
See, there stood a Man. "Well," they
said, "this guy, what school did He come from?" But remember, when
that spear struck His body, that Spirit left Him, the temple of sacrifice
blocks turned over, and the lightning whipped down through the temple and rent
the veil. What was it? There was their God hanging on Calvary,
and they were too blind to see it. Brought Him
in open view, and still they don't see It. They're blinded. God, veiled in
a human being...
Now,
notice they were blinded to the God hidden in the veil then and so are they
today. But the Elect will know the two
spirits and will not be deceived. They will not be blinded. And we know
deception is a form of blindness.
Watch
how the Apostle Paul shows us that the deception comes as the light goes out.
Even children understand that shadows hide what could be in the shadow. So
Shadows lead to uncertainty which leads to deception.
As
children we used to play hide and go seek, and it was most fun at night time,
because we could hide in the shadows and the person looking for us would walk
right past us if we remained in the shadow and did not move or speak.
Now, there are
19 Scriptures that speak of "The
shadow of Death." Therefore we see a comparison between
darkness and death, Light and Life. And of course we could take an
entire sermon showing you that the Scripture speaks of Light and Life and the
need for light in order for life. And Scripture tells us where there is light
the shadows shall flee away.
Song of Solomon 4:6 Until the
day break, and the shadows flee away,
I will get me to the mountain of myrrh, and to the hill of frankincense.
Song of Solomon 2:17 Until the day break, and the shadows
flee away, turn, my beloved, and be thou like a roe or a young hart upon
the mountains of Bether.
But here are the scriptures speaking of the shadow of Death.
Luke 1:79 To
give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.
Matthew 4:16 The
people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the
region and shadow of death
light is sprung up.
Amos 5:8 Seek
him that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark
with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon
the face of the earth: The LORD is his name:
Jeremiah 13:16 Give
glory to the LORD your God, before he cause darkness, and before your feet
stumble upon the dark mountains, and, while ye look for light, he turn it into
the shadow of death, and make
it gross darkness.
Jeremiah 2:6 Neither
said they, Where is the LORD that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, that
led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and of pits, through a
land of drought, and of the shadow of
death, through a land that no man passed through, and where no man
dwelt?
Isaiah 9:2 The
people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the
land of the shadow of death, upon
them hath the light shined.
Psalms 107:14 He
brought them out of darkness and the shadow
of death, and brake their bands in sunder.
Psalms 107:10 Such
as sit in darkness and in the shadow
of death, being bound in affliction and iron;
Psalms 44:19 Though
thou hast sore broken us in the place of dragons, and covered us with the shadow of death.
Psalms 23:4 Yea,
though I walk through the valley of the shadow
of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy
staff they comfort me.
Job 38:17 Have
the gates of death been opened unto thee? or hast thou seen the doors of the shadow of death?
Job 34:22 There
is no darkness, nor shadow of death,
where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.
Job 28:3 He
setteth an end to darkness, and searcheth out all perfection: the stones of
darkness, and the shadow of death.
Job 24:17 For
the morning is to them even as the shadow of death: if one know them, they are
in the terrors of the shadow of death.
Job 16:16 My
face is foul with weeping, and on my eyelids is the shadow of death;
Job 12:22 He
discovereth deep things out of darkness, and bringeth out to light the shadow of death.
Job 10:22 A land
of darkness, as darkness itself; and of the shadow of death, without any order, and where the light is
as darkness.
Job 10:21 Before
I go whence I shall not return, even to the land of darkness and the shadow of death;
Job 3:5 Let
darkness and the shadow of death
stain it; let a cloud dwell upon it; let the blackness of the day terrify it.
Now, in James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh
down from the Father of lights,
with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of
turning.
So there is no
darkness nor shadows in God. What you see is what you get. Therefore if God is
hidden it is because he is veiled, so the veil is what hides.
The next few
scriptures speaks of a shadow as something that can not last. Psalms 144:4 Man is like to vanity: his days are as a shadow that passeth away.
Job 8:9 For we are but of yesterday, and know
nothing, because our days upon earth
are a shadow:
But
in Matthew Jesus warns us that we must discern light from darkness. But he
shows us what sets the elect apart from those who are not elect is that The
elect cannot be deceived. All others will be deceived.
Matthew
24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and
false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall
deceive the very elect.
Hebrews
5:14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are
of full age, even those who by reason of use have
their senses exercised to discern
both good and evil.
The
problem is that most believers will not exercise their senses to discern Good
from evil. And how do you do that? By giving it the Word test.
1John
4:1-6 1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits
whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the
world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every
spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that
Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it
should come; and even now already is it in the world. 4 Ye are of God, little children, and have
overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the
world. 5 They are of the world: therefore speak
they of the world, and the world heareth them. 6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth
us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth,
and the spirit of error.
From his
sermon Sign of His coming 62-0407 P:63 brother
Branham said, "How can you tell, Brother Branham, what's right or
wrong? Give them
the Word test. That'll tell whether they're right or wrong
or not. Stay
right with that Word; see what happens. See? Just throw the Word
down there and see where they're at. "Oh, well, you see that..." Oh, then
get right away right then. See? Yeah. Just stay right with that Word.
So why, if they'd give Micaiah the Word test, he proved out he was a percent
with it. Now, they say, "Wait a minute (See?); God gave it to us."
That's right. God gave us the promise of the Holy Ghost. Peter said on the day
of Pentecost, you know, "Repent every
one of you and be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of
sins. You shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. The promise is to every
generation." See? That's us. That
means us. But it's conditions. You just can't get it any way. You've
got to follow instructions. That's exactly.
Spoken word original seed
62-0318M P:151 Look what kind of revivals they're having: great
revivals, have had. Looks good, doesn't it? You say, "Well, Brother
Branham, now you've got us on a limb." That's where I wanted you.
How you going to know what's right and wrong? Give it the Word test.
That's the way to tell whether it's right or wrong. That's it; just
give it the Word test. See what it says about the Word.
Any spirit, see what it says about the Word. If it denies the Word, it's
not of God. See? No matter what it is, if it denies the Word, it's
not of God. Look, give it the Word test and see what happens.
Matthew
16:3 3 And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day:
for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of
the sky; but can ye not discern the
signs of the times?
Luke 12:56
56 Ye hypocrites, ye can
discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time?
1John 3:7
Little children, let no man
deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
Malachi
3:16-18 Then
they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened,
and heard it, and a book of remembrance was
written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his
name. 17 And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of
hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man
spareth his own son that serveth him. 18 Then shall ye return, and discern between
the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth
him not.
Ezekiel
44:23-24 And they
shall teach my people the difference between the
holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean. 24 And in
controversy they shall stand in judgment; (how can they
stand in judgment?
Because
they stand with what he has already said.) and they shall judge it according to my judgments:
and they shall keep my laws and my statutes in all mine assemblies; and
they shall hallow my sabbaths.
But
the non elect are never able to discern the two spirits, and as a result become
deceived themselves, and thus persecute True Seed of God.
Galatians
4:29 But as then he that was born after the
flesh persecuted him that was born after the
Spirit, even so it is now.
2 Timothy
3:7-8, Ever learning, and
never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses,
so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning
the faith. 13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse
and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
2Peter
2:1-3 But there were false prophets also among
the people, even as there shall be false
teachers among you, (in your midst) who privately shall bring in alongside of true
doctrine destructive heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and
bring upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many
shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be
evil spoken of.
2 John1:7
For many
deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come
(present
tense) in the
flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
2 Thessalonians
2:3 Let no
man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not
come, except there come a
falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of
perdition;
I
believe we could go on and on and show you more on his the blindness and
darkness of the heart leads to delusion and deception, and perhaps one day we
shall show this to you, but since this is a Wednesday night and I think we
shall just close in prayer at this time.
Let's
just bow our head in prayer.
